Valentino and Vox were sleeping in their bed, spent from their passion.

Angel had put on his clothes and was sneaking out of the room to get back to Cherri.

He barely breathed as he got dressed and snuck out of the room, but Angel made it and made his way to Cherri's room.

Angel made his way to Cherri's room and quietly knocked on the door.

"Cher, you there?" Angel asked in a hushed voice.

"Angel?" Cherri asked in relief as she crossed the room and opened the door. "Where've you been, Angie?"

Angel stepped in clutching one of his arms and said, "Oh, same old…"

"Oh, God," Cherri said. "We've gotta fucking get out of here."

It was then that Angel noticed Cherri had been crying.

"Don't worry," Angel said, reaching one of his hands out to her. "I'll definitely get you outta here for sure."

"So, what's going on?" asked Cherri. "Can we leave now?"

"Maybe," Angel said, looking behind him and shutting the door. "Val and Vox are sleepin'. Don't know where Velvet is."

"Me neither," Cherri replied. "That dumb slut brought me in here and just fucked off to God knows where. I can't believe I'm related to these people, Angie. I can't stay here."

"Well, just to Val, but you won't," Angel said. "I think we should go up to the roof and find a way down from there. Okay?"

Alright," Cherri said. "Angie, are you okay?"

"Nah," Angel gave a sad smile. "But what else is new though, eh?"

Cherri gave Angel a tight hug that she reciprocated.

After a few moments of holding her, Angel had his moments of clarity.

"Whatever we do, we better do it now before one of them catches wise," Angel said, letting go of his grip.

"Okay," Cherri said, picking up a backpack of her most valuable possessions. "Let's go."

Angel looked around the hallways, making sure the coast was clear before they ran for the stairs.

Angel opened the door to the stairs, gesturing for Cherri to go first.

"Go first, babe," Angel said. "I'll be right behind you."

The pair ran up the stairs until they reached the door going to the roof of the studio. To their relief, the door was unlocked, and they could walk right out.

Walking out onto the roof, Cherri cried, "Oh, my God! I never thought I'd be so happy to smell Hell's polluted air!"

"Ha! You're telling me!" Angel reciprocated looking over the side of the building for an escape route.

"Alright, so what now, Angie?" Cherri asked.

"I ain't quite sure," said Angel, staring down the long way to the street. "I'm gonna have to climb down with you on my back."

"Better than any plan I have," Cherri said, hopping on Angel's back.

"Alright, but you better hold on tight. I need to use all my arms for this," said Angel, summoning his third pair of arms.

Without another word, Angel climbed to the ledge and started climbing down the wall. They climbed until they reached the street and kept running.

Back in the bedroom, twisting and turning slightly in the heart-shaped bed, Valentino slowly opened his eyes. Everything seemed where it was except for one thing.

Where was Angel?

Valentino sat up and looked around the room.

It wasn't abnormal for Angel to not be there right after, sometimes Valentino preferred it. But after today, he had a suspicion there was more to it than that.

As he got up and dressed in a robe, Valentino stepped out. He wiped off his large neck fur collar as he walked to the guest room they had for Cherri.

Valentino knocked on the door, but when he didn't hear an answer, he opened the door to find the room empty.

"Motherfucker…" snarled Valentino, slamming the door.

Valentino stomped down the hallway and back to his room to wake Vox.

Val threw open the door and yelled, "Vox! VOX, WAKE THE FUCK UP!"

Vox bolted up and asked, "What's going on?"

Val grasped into the door, hard enough for a part of it to crack and splinter, and replied, "They're gone!"

"What?!" Vox asked, hopping out of bed in his boxers.

"Check the cameras, you idiot!" Valentino snapped.

"Alright! Alright!" snapped Vox back as his screen changed to the security cameras.

Vox displayed sped-up footage from the past hour on his screen. They saw Angel leading Cherri out of her room and down the hall.

"Of course, the little slut did this," growled Valentino. "Where are they going?"

The cameras followed the pair up to the roof where Cherri climbed on Angel's back and let him carry her as he climbed down the roof.

Valentino glared at the screen very intensely.

Vox's face went back to normal, and he said, "Baby, how should we proceed? This might be an exercise in futility."

Val walked over to his drawers revealing his pistol and asked, "The hell do you mean?"

Val loaded his pistol while Vox explained, "I'm saying your daughter takes after your ex. She's tenacious, intelligent, tough, stubborn, and relentless. Fighting her will be a long and drawn-out effort. All I'm saying is it won't be easy, and she may never stop hating you. Are you sure you want to keep going no matter how big of a fight she puts up?"

"Since when is anything we do every easy?" asked Valentino, pulling on his signature black speedo and fishnet stockings.

"I suppose," Vox said.

"For Christ's sake, we're overlords. We aren't on top because we take the easy road, Vox," Val said, putting on his boots. "Winning my daughter back is just another obstacle we have to deal with and climb over. My baby girl will come home. One way or another."

"Well then, if this is what you want, I am behind you all the way, babe," Vox said. "What do you want me to do first?"

"Check the cameras first," commanded Valentino. "See if you can still see them."

"I already did," Vox replied. "They're out in the streets. Would you like me to put out a bounty for them?"

"Yeah," Valentino said. "Get the limo ready, too. I'm going out myself."

With that, Valentino grabbed his coat, hat, and another pair of sunglasses and exited the room.

Vox called Velvet and began putting out the news while Valentino went downstairs.

When he reached the front of the building, Valentino tried calling Angel, but the call was declined.

"So, that's the game," Valentino said as the limo rolled up and he stepped in with a few goons. "So be it, Anthony."

Just then, Val got a ping for the bounty being offered. 1000 for Angel and 1000 for Cherri, 2000 in total for them both brought in unharmed.

Valentino called Vox immediately to complain.

When Vox picked up, Valentino complained, "Vox, baby, you have to set the bounty higher. Cheryl and Angel aren't common whores who owe me money. They're much more significant than that and their price has to say so. Besides, I want every bounty hunter in hell to make them the priority."

"I see what you mean," Vox said. "What should the bounty be set at then?"

"$100,000," Val said. "For both of them, safe and sound. Well, only my Cherri needs to be completely safe and sound. Angel just needs to be brought in alive so I can deliver my own punishment."

"Can do, honey," said Vox. "I'll put the word out now."

Valentino blew a kiss through the phone and hung up.

Valentino then began scouring the street for his daughter and his traitorous slut.
