For the first time in a long time, Issei felt like a weight had been lifted off him. He finally accepted the loss of the first ones he called his precious people and could finally live fully in the present. He stared at the sea one last time before they left the villa and headed home. He took in a deep breath feeling the freshness of the salty sea air. A small smile graced his face as he closed his eyes, "You would have loved this view, thank you for being you Trihexa. I will never forget our bond."

A pair of slender arms wrapped themselves around his back and met on his chest as he felt a pair of bountiful breasts squish against his back and head rest on his shoulder. "What are you in such deep thought about?" the voice of one of his saviors that he loved so much spoke. Issei turned his head slightly as he caught the crimson hair and a glimpse at a pair of beautiful blue eyes that always captivated him. Rias Gremory the one who saved him from the figurative hell he was in by taking him to the literal one.

Issei's smile grew slightly but somehow became even more gentle as he looked at this incredible woman who loved him as much if not more than he loved her.

Tentacles slowly and gently made their way out his back and gently wrapped around his love, shifting her around so now she stood facing him face to face as the appendages retracted into himself as he took his arms and wrapped her into a hug. One arm wrapped around the small of her back the other hand cradling the back of her neck meets the base of her head. He held her tightly to himself as he laid a couple of gentle kisses on her cheek and the side of her head. "I love you," Issei spoke quietly in a tone filled with love.

To say Rias was confused would be an understatement. Issei was never like this… don't get her wrong, he could be so loving and affectionate whenever they were together, but with always happiness in his tone. This though, there was so much affection and love in his tone but with an undertone of melancholy. She wished he would share some of his burdens with her, it broke her heart that he never did. She was quite aware of how he had confided in Irina before he went to meet his parents. Her heart felt heavy then and it even felt heavier now. She needed him to talk to her. She was both a Devil princess and his lover, she will not be denied.

Rias pulled back slightly signaling Issei to loosen his hold on her, he did with a great reluctance. Rias backed up slightly but only where a mere few inches were between them, Issei's hands moved to her waist to continue his hold on her. Rias brought her own hands up and cupped Issei's face in her hands. She could see the slight confusion in his expression as she stared up at him. This was the man she loved, this man she had saved from horrible experimentation. The man who did everything in her power to make her happy. Who saw her for who she was as a person and not for her name and title. The one that she would fight all of heaven itself if she had to be with him.

"Ise… please talk to me." Rias's voice broke as she said those words tears began to form in her eyes and she tried to blink them away without success. "You never come to me whenever something is bothering you, you always bear it alone or go to Irina. Like when you were worried about meeting your parents." Issei opened his mouth to respond but Rias covered it with one of her hands why lightly shaking her head. "Yes, I know you went to Irina before you met them. I won't ask why, but please Anata, please don't lock me out. Please let me help you, even if I can't fix it, please let me just let me make you feel heard."

Issei could only look into the sapphire eyes of his devilish angel. The eyes were now weeping without restraint because of his actions. He did everything he could to not have her cry, only to cause her to do it anyway. A phrase came into his mind upon seeing the situation he had caused. The road to Hell is paved with the best intentions. He had to make this right.

He moved in and scooped her up into a princess carry getting a pretty feminine squeak out of Rias who quickly wrapped her arms around her lover's neck.

Issei carried her over to the bed and laid her down and quickly followed her so now they were lying in the bed staring into each other's eyes. Issei took in a deep breath and apologized for not coming to her when he had any problems. He also told her the reason why he did not, as he saw her as such a pure being that was so far above him that he didn't want to taint her with such a lowly beast's problems. This got him a smack in the arm and a good scolding. But in the end, Rias's tears had dried and a smile had returned to her lips. So then Issei informed her of the dream he had the night before. About all the faces he saw and of about Trihexa, he told her he had finally said goodbye to them all. That he will now live with the family he is now slowly building.

When he was done, Rias moved in and kissed him which he happily returned. The kisses never slowed or stopped, they proceeded to last longer and get heavier. They slowly and meticulously discarded the little sleeping clothes they had, only separating their lips when they had to only to quickly return to the lip lock. Both sets of hands roamed their bodies. When they would break away, they would look deeply into each other's eyes. There wasn't an ounce of lust between them, no, only love. They didn't have sex, no they had made love. When they were done, they lay in each other's embrace, taking turns whispering sweet nothings and gently kissing whatever part they were closest to.

"I love you, Issei, my Issei." Rias declared.

"And I love you, my love," Issei responded in kind.
