That night, the Vees were back in their tower's apartment putting their plan into action.

"Alright, Voxxy, should be a simple sneak-and-grab job," said Valentino. "You search around, find her, and Velvette will help you get her in. Got it?"

"Got it," said Vox. "But let me scope out the place first to see if I can find her. If we can't find her or if we see her Highness or Alastor prowling around, I'm getting the hell out."

"Fine, fine," Valentino waved off. "Good luck, you two. And please be careful with her."

"Think of who you're talking to," Velvette stuffed the rope and duct tape into the pillowcase and put it in her jacket pocket as she wrapped her arms around Vox. "We'll be in and out in no time. Your daughter will be back in no time."

"You owe us fucking big for this by the way," Vox said.

"I know, I know," Valentino said. "I'll give you your reward later, amorcito. For you, Velvette, I'll figure something out."

"You'd better," Velvette retorted.

With that, Vox and Velvette turned into a bolt of electricity and started their journey through the power grid. They traveled through their tower, then through the air over the air waves until they reached the drone in front of the Hazbin Hotel, then to the electrical outlets, and then finally, into the old-fashioned television sitting in the lobby.

The television flashed on. Vox and Velvette stood in the screen with a background of static behind them.

"God damn," Vox whispered. "This set is an old one. I haven't seen one of these in decades. I haven't traveled through one in even longer. This might be challenging."

"What's the problem, Vox?" whispered Velvette. "I thought you could travel through any tech."

"I can, but this place is huge and without a screen to look through, I'm traveling blind," Vox whispered. "This'll be harder than we thought. And if we run into Alastor, we're screwed."

"So, you want to go back?" Velvette asked.

Vox sighed, "Not yet. I can sense ten or nine other television screens here. Maybe we'll get lucky, and she'll have one on. We can look for a while. We'll check the TV's and go."

"Okay, but Val owes us big time," Velvette said.

"Believe me," Vox said with an eyeroll. "I'm not going to let his ass forget it. Let's go."

Vox and Velvette looked around the hotel's various TV's. Room after room, the TV's either shined on a sleeping hotel member or no one at all.

The two Vees continued in frustration until they reached the seventh television. They looked out from a small 80s TV sitting on a dresser in front of a bed.

Across the room were scattered a game console, various articles of clothing, a few books, and even a few bottles of soap and deodorant.

Vox and Velvette could see someone sleeping in the bed with a phone plugged in next to them, but in the dark, it was hard to make out the face. It wasn't until a notification lit up the phone and sleeping figure that the two Vees could see that it was Cherri.

With wicked grins, Vox zapped himself and Velvette through the TV and approached the sleeping girl.

"There she is, wrapped like a present," Vox whispered out loud. "Are you ready for this, Velvette? She's going to try to make some noise."

"Born ready, baby," said Velvette, pulling rope out of the pillowcase and passing the bag to Vox.

Vox grabbed the pillowcase in one hand, pulled out the roll of duct tape, and looked down at Cherri. He stood there for a moment, readying his claws, before he stretched the duct tape over her mouth and pressed his palm tight across to cover her lips.

Once he was done, Vox tore the duct tape off and pulled Cherri off the bed.

Cherri's eye flew open. She looked around in confusion when she saw Vox and Velvette. She then looked down and saw the tape over her mouth.

"Good evening, love. Did you miss us?" mocked Velvette.

"We're here to take you home," Vox said, stretching out his arms and holding Cherri's arms apart. "Come with us quietly and we'll allow you to walk there."

Cherri's eyes glared with a wild fury. She began struggling wildly and desperately against Vox's hold so she could summon a bomb.

Unfortunately for her, Vox held her steady as he held her wrists together behind her back gesturing for Velvette to tie them up.

"Don't struggle so much," Vox chuckled. "It'll make this easier."

Cherri struggled against his hold desperately trying to get her hands free so she could summon a bomb as she tried to scream through the duct tape.

Despite the thrashing, Vox didn't let go. With an eye roll, he sent a small current of electricity through her veins.

The pain forced Cherri to submit and fall limp on the floor as Velvette tied her hands behind her back.

"Young lady, that's enough," said Vox condescendingly. "If you're going to be a member of our family, you need to show some respect. Honestly, you're about to be on top of the heap. You'd think you'd be more grateful."

As soon as her hands were tied, Velvette got her to her feet.

"Let's get you home, love," Velvette said. "Your dad has been insufferable."

"Don't remind me…Argh!" Vox's rant was interrupted by Cherri kicking him in the nuts.

Cherri then tried to run away, dropping a smoke bomb from her hands behind her.

"Vox?! Dammit!" Velvette cried.

While the TV demon keeled over on the floor, Velvette grabbed the bomb, threw open the window, and chucked it out, avoiding the smoke explosion just in time.

With a sigh of relief, Velvette turned back to Vox and whispered, "Get up. We've got to get out of here before she drops another one and wakes everyone up."

Vox nodded, stood up, stifled his pain, and outstretched a hand sending another volt of electricity towards Cherri who was still at the door struggling to open it with her bound hands.

The demoness fell to the floor again, screaming out her pain into her tape.

"Get her ankles too," Vox said. "I'll carry her back."

"On it," Velvette replied, dashing over with her rope.

From her spot on the floor, Cherri kicked and kicked to avoid Velvette's rope.

Vox gave a slight grin as he sent another wave of electricity through Cherri's veins, "Hold still now, sweetheart. We're almost done."

The shock hurt so much that Cherri fell limp in pain as Velvette finished tying her ankles together.

"Bloody hell, she's almost as big a pain in the ass as her father," Velvette said, standing up from her work and walking around the room. "Shit, she might even be worse."

"God, I hope not," Vox said, putting the pillowcase over Cherri's head and scooping her up in his arms just as she was coming to her senses. "Dealing with one Val is bad enough. C'mon. Let's get going."

Cherri squirmed around in Vox's arms and did her damnedest to get out of her restraints, but nothing worked. The rope and the overlord holding her were too strong.

"Coming," Velvette said, pulling Cherri's phone with its charger out of the wall and putting the items in her jacket. "Just grabbing something I figured she'd miss."

"Well, get over here," said Vox, urgently looking around while holding onto a struggling Cherri. "We have to leave now before a certain Radio Demon or Princess of Hell shows up."

"Fine, fine, keep your prissy ass hat on. I'm coming!" Velvette said, finally running over to Vox and wrapping her arms around his torso.

In a flash, Vox turned himself, Velvette, and Cherri into an electric current and started their journey from the hotel's electrical circuit to the drone back to the V's Tower.
