Chapter 5: Surprising Allies Part One

It was a sunny day in Adventure Bay, and the pups would not waste it. Most pups were playing tag. Ryder watched with glee as they ran around. "Why can't every day be like this," he asked himself.
Down with pups, Chase was it. He ran around trying to catch Marshall. "I am going to get you Marshall," Chase said determinedly. "You can try all you want you still can't catch me," Marshall taunted him.
"There they go again," Margareth said with a laugh. "I don't think Chase will ever learn that Marshall is just faster," Gabriel said with a smile staring at them. "Sewiously, whewe does he get all that enewgy fwom," Zuma said.
"I have been wondering that for years," Margareth said, giggling. "I can't wait for Liberty, Coral, and Everest to get here, today is going to be a blast!" Skye said with a big smile.
"Don't forget about Rex, Al, and Wildcat," Rocky tells her with a grin. "I can't wait to see Wildcat again, it has been too long," Gabriel said with a huge smile. They see Chase collapse from exhaustion.
"I will get you~," Chase said trying to get up. "Chase, just give up, you can get him another time," Rocky tried to reason with him. "No, I have to get him!" he tried to yell but didn't have the energy to do so and fell back down.
"Okay, maybe I need a break," he said with a defeated sigh. "Yeah, as a medic you NEED rest, now go and take a break," She tells him sternly. "I am fine, no need to worry," He said trying to calm her down.
"There is no use when it comes to other's safety her, she will do whatever it takes to make sure you get what you need, you do not want to get on her bad side," Marshall said with a forced laugh.
"That sounds like it comes from experiences," Rocky points out. "It was," Margareth said with a smile at her embarrassed brother. That seemed to do the trick for Chase. "I am just going to take a break now," Chase said and ran into the Lookout and some pup laughed.
"You sure know how to scare the boys don't you," Slye said with a giggle. "When you live with them you tend to learn a thing or to scare them into doing what you want," Margareth said with a giggle.
"I don't think that is something to be proud of," Gabriel said shyly. "Don't worry Gabriel, I would never use it on you," She tells him with a smile.
The pups heard and saw five vehicles pull up. First was Liberty and Coral which was on Liberty bike. "Thanks for the ride Liberty, I own you one," Coral tells her. "No problem, anytime," Liberty tells her.
Next was Rex, Than Al, Everest, and finally Wild Cat. The pups rush to meet them. "Coral, Liberty, Everest, it has been too long, how have you guys been?" Skye asked.
"It has been great but Moby is still a bit of a problem but I am sure I can reason with him in time," Coral tells her with a big smile. "That's great but how about you Liberty?" Skye asked her.
"You know, rescues here, rescues there, you know how it is," Liberty tells her with a small grin. "This is just great, I never even knew there were this many members!" Everest said with a big grin.
"I know! We are going to have a blast! Skye said hyped. Wild Cat, Rex, and Al stare at them with confusion. "Don't mind Skye, it isn't often when there are more than two girls here, anyway how are you guys?" Marshall tells them with a warm smile.
"Well the Dino Wilds have been good, there weren't many problems over there and it is nice to have some time off," Rex said with a small grin.
"It has been good for me, all ten four on my side," Al said with a smirk. "Not much but I have had a lot of time for training my bike skills," Wild Cat said with a wide grin.
"Wild Cat, nice to see you again, been too long," Gabriel said with a big happy grin. "Ah, Gabriel, you have come a long way from the little pup I met back with your parent," Wild Cat said with a genuine smile.
"Wait, you met Gabriel before the PAW Patrol?" Rubble asks Wild Cat. "Yeah, we met, how about I tell them about it, Gabriel?" He asked Gabriel. "Sure, I don't mind, best to get it out of the way anyway," Gabriels said.
"Okay, it all started-"
Years ago
Wild Cat was doing tricks with his motorcycle in the woods, the perfect place to practice in small places. He was having a blast praising his skill on his bike when it began to make weird noises. "That can't be good," He said when wen the gas tank just exploded turning his face black.
"Well, there goes my day," He said with a sigh. Then he hears some bushes move. He looks at them and a small Chow Chow pup jumps out with a smile. The pup looks at the cat and smiles again.
"Hello, my name is Gabriel, what's yours?" He asked Wild Cat. Wild Cat was stunned at the little pup staring at him. "Uh, my name's Wild Cat but what is a little pup doing out here all by yourself?"
"Oh, my house is right around the corner, I heard a big BOOM and wanted to see what made it. Wait is that a motorcycle?" He asks with a growing smile. "Well, it was, I don't think I will be getting this thing fixed," Wild Cat explained to him.
"Can I fix it? I have always wanted to fix something before, The books are good but I can't work on books like I can on real vehicles," Gabriel starts to rant. "GABRIEL!" They both hear a loud scream.
"Uh-oh," Gabriel said and curled into a ball as his father approached him. "Gabriel, what in the world do you think you are doing!" His father yelled. He looked at Gabriel and then Wild Cat.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't know there would be Company. My name's Samuel. say what brings you all the way out here?" The dog now known as Samuel said. He was a Chow Chow like Gabriel but had much more messer furr.
"My name's Wild Cat and I was trying to do some tricks out here with my motorcycle but as you can see-" He said and pointed at his now smoking motorcycle. "I am not having the best day," He said with a sigh.
"I am really sorry about that, but I can't help you with this right now, I have a lot going on right and it would be a lot easier if my son-" He pointed at Gabriel. "Was not always wandering off," He finished.
"I can fix it; I am sure I can," Gabriel tells him. "What have I told you! You are to practice pup-fu not not working on cars!" Samuel yelled at him.
"Come on Dad, I can do it, just give me one chance," Gabriel pleaded. "NO, now go practice your pup-fu and come get me until you have mastered it!" He yelled.
"What's the harm in letting him try, my bike ain't going anywhere anyway, so why not let him experiment with his skills?" Wild cat asked to know how fathers can be.
"I am sorry to bring this drama to you but he needs to practice pup-fu, not repairing vehicles," Samuel tells him. "Well, I can't go anywhere until it is finished and I will be out of your fur faster if you let him try," He tells him with a convincing smile.
He knew that Gabriel's father was not going to be easily convinced but for Gabriel's sake he had to try, sure, he could have just left the bike and got a new one but he wanted to see what Gabriel got.
"Fine, one chance Gabriel, and then you go back to pup-fu, got it," He said with a sigh. Gabriel's smile returned. "Yes I promise, I will fix it!" Gabriel said with a huge puppy smile.
Gabriel ran up to the bike and held it in his mouth and started to easily pull to his house, Wild Cat was stunned for a second time. Wild Cat follows him as they when into his garage.
Gabriel puts down the bike, runs to a toolbox, and pulls out some tools. "One hour Gabriel, after that you are back to practicing Pup-Fu, got it," Samuel told Gabriel. "Yes father," He said and got to work immediately.
He pulled out parts, tools, and what looked like a mess but was his system. "I may not know much about you but I could tell you are having a hard time following your dream," Wild Cat tells Gabriel while under his bike.
"I want to be a mechanic but my mother and father think that would be a waste of my talent, they say I need to know how to fight and take up some legacy but I don't want to, I just want to be a mechanic!" Gabriel rambled to Wild Cat.
"I may not be a mechanic myself but I can tell you have some talent, does it matter what they want in the end? I had my own problem with my parent with my choice of job," Wild Cat tells him.
"Really?" Gabriel asked him with a small smile. "In the end, parents just want what's best for you, but sometimes they aren't right, only you can decide what you want to be," Wild Cat tells him with a smile.
"I wish it were that easy, All I have ever wanted was to be a mechanic but every time I try they tell me I can do better," Gabriel whines. "Well, I wanted to be Daredevil when I was young like you, my parents never liked the idea but I never stopped trying, as soon as you stop trying the dream ends," Wild Cat tells him
"Once you are on your own, you can become whatever you want, I got my dream career so I am sure you can get yours," Wild Cat tells him with a warm smile. As he fished he saw his bike, it looked brand new
"Wait, you did this?" Wild Cat asked stunned for a third time. "Yeah, sorry," Gabriel said thinking he would yell at him.
"What are you apologizing for, my bike looks better than it was new! Wild Cat said excitedly. "You mean it! Gabriel said jumping for joy. "I don't care what your parents say, this is amazing, you are amazing Gabriel," He says and hugs him. Gabriel accepts it and starts to cry.
Two dogs stare at them with wide smiles. "You know, I think you have been too hard on him, you have to admit that Gabriel is an impressive mechanic," The dog next to Samuel said. She looked more like a wolf than a dog.
"Yeah, maybe your right but I can't just take everything back Carolina," Samuel tells her. "Don't worry I have a plan, we just might see him again for a while.
A few minutes later
Wild Cat was readying his bike to leave. "Are you leaving already?" Gabriel asked him with sorrow. "Sorry pup but I have to get going, but remember what I told you, got it," He asked with a smile. "Got it
Back to the present
All the pups were wide-eyed at Wild Cat's explanation. "Wait, you met his parents!" Zuma yelled out. "Yeah, why?" Wild Cat asked. "Well because Gabriel hates talking about his past and he said his parents abandoned him," Zuma tells him.
Wild Cat was a bit surprised but still smiled. "Sounds like you took my advice," Wild Cat said. Gabriel smiled a little. "I had no choice but yeah, I became a mechanic for the PAW Patrol and it has been AWESOME!" Gabriel said with glee.
"Glad I could join you, business has been slow and the PAW Patrol has been a great opportunity, and I even got to meet up with an old friend," Wild Cat said with a big grin.
"We are glad to have you and everyone on the team," Ryder said, walking out with Chase. Most pups are a bit confused about why they are there.
"No offense Ryder but why did you need us on such short notice?" Rex asked. Ryder smiled at the pups. "Well, I have a surprise for you guys, everypup head to the top of the Lookout, I will be right behind you," Ryder said.
All the pups start to either walk or run to the elevator. Marshall, Margareth, and Gabriel walked slower than the others. "Have any guess of what he wants?" Margareth asked no one In particular.
"My guesses are either a new outpost, vehicle, Pup-Pack, or even a new member, I really hope it's the ladder," Marshall said in his usual goofy way. "Margareth laughed at her brother's smiles.
"Always Optimistic, that is my brother," Margareth said with a smile. "Yeah, I wouldn't like any other way," Gabriel said with a smile. They just enjoy the Peace until the inevitable happens.
As expected Marshall somehow tripped on a chew toy and rolled into the elevator. As the pups tumble Marshall pops out of the pile. "Looks like I am on a roll," Marshall said and everyone laughed.
The elevator started to get going while they laughed. As it came to the top they all jumped out. Gabriel was next to Marshall and Margareth. Everest was next to Margareth and Al. Coral was next to Skye and Liberty. And Rex was next to Liberty. And Wild Cat was next to Al. Marcus was next next to Rex.
"Ready for action, Ryder, sir" Chase said but quickly realized no one was there. "Oh, right, he still down," Chase said with a nervous chuckle after he said that the elevator came back up with Ryder.
"Okay pups, we have a few announcements to make," Ryder said and all the pups started to howl. "Alright, we have two new members joining us, one a few of you are familiar with but the other is a wildcard, but without further ado, welcome Sweetie and Sebastian," Ryder said with a smile.
The elevator came up with Sweetie and a wolf-like dog, they both wore black suits of some kinda. Sweeties looked more technical with a helmet while Sebastian wore a suit with black and blue that looked more like a police uniform without a helmet.
Most pups cheered as they came in, but a few had mixed faces, including Chase, Margareth, and Marshall, which was the weirdest of all. While Chase and Margareth had considered faces to know what she had done, Marshall could even look at her.
Marshall is not known to hold grudges but how he acted was weird. "Welcome to the Sweetie, always good to have another girl around!" Skye said with a big smile. "Sweetie was shaking a little but wore a smile.
She was nervous but she still smiled. "Yeah, glad I could be here, I hope I can make up for the trouble I have caused," She said with a nervous smile.
"I doubt that," Chase said coldly without thinking. No one was surprised at his reaction because Chase never really liked the bad pups, even if they tried to help. "No need to be negative Chase, I know how you feel but don't put that on others," Marshall tells him sternly.
"Fine, fine," Chase said. "Wow, anyway, I am Sebastian, nice to meet you guys," Sebastian said with a grin. "Good to have you," Marcus said with a smile.
"Okay guys, let's talk about the roles Sweetie and Sebastian will have," Ryder said and they all lined back up. Sweetie was next to Wild Cat while Sebastian was next to Marcus.
"Okay, because of recent events I need a few new members for more, selective missions." He tells them much to their confusion. "What do you mean by that?" Chase asked.
"Well Sweetie will be our new super spy pup, she will be investigating, things and will sneak into places," Ryder said. "But why would we need anything like that!? I can do what she can do and do it better!" Chase said With annoyance.
"Chase, please stop, Marshall is right, you need to come down, how about you go and relax?" Ryder asked him. "Fine," Chase said and walked off.
As Chase left the room became silent. "Do you have anything else to say?" Rubble asked Ryder trying to stop the Awkwardness. "Yeah, I do," Ryder laughed nervously.
"Anyway Sebastian will be our new security guard pup, he will help with security and keeping people away from us on urgent missions," Ryder tells them.
Ryder pulls out two pup tags. One was silver with a target while the other was grey with a shield. "These are your pup tags, use these to communicate with the other members and they have a tracker in them so we can find you in case of an emergency," Ryder tells them, putting them on Sweetie and Sebastian.
Sweetie got the silver one while Sebastian got the grey one. "Thank you, Ryder, we won't let you down," They both said with a smile.
"Now, everyone, give them a warm welcome," Ryder said and they all howled and started to get to know the new members.
"Welcome, Sweetie, good to have you," Skye said with a smile. "Thanks, great to be here," Sweetie said with a smile. "Say, what made you want to join anyway?" Everest asked.
Sweetie blushed a bit. "Well, I just wanted to make up for what I have done, I know I have been a handful but I want to help," Sweetie said while nervously playing with her paw. "Okay, good to see some pups trying to make amends," Liberty said. "Yeah," Sweetie said.
"So, what brings you here?" Rocky asked Sebastian. "Well, You guys are known for helping people, I think it is nice to see so I want to help in any way possible," Sebastian said with a smile.
"Well that's cool but how did you meet Wyder?" Zuma asked. "That's a long story but to make it short I saw Ryder and he offered me a job," Sebastian explained. "Well, good to have you on the team, Sebastian," Rubble said. "Good to be here," Sebastian said with a smile.
Ryder watches the pups get to know the new pups. "I hope I made the right choice," Ryder said quietly. No pup heard him.
A few days ago at night
Ryder was staring at his computer. He was trying to find any information on the Canine Global Security Watch Force with little to no luck. "Why isn't there anything about them!" He yelled angrily at the computer.
"You aren't going to find anything, they aren't well known, they work more in the shadow," a voice said from behind him. Ryder looked behind him to see a large man with a long black cloak covering his entire body and head.
Ryder panicked and fell out of his chair and fell to the ground. "Who are you!" Ryder yelled at the man. The man just stood there. "My name, hm, I don't like sharing that but for the sake of trust, my name is," the man said and told him his name.
"Why are you here? who do you work for?" Ryder asked. "Well, I came here today to be the middle man for the PAW Patrol and the Canine Global Security Watch Force," He tells Ryder.
"And I work for myself, I don't follow anyone's orders anymore," He told Ryder. "And why should I trust you?" Ryder asked the man with a stare.
"I am not going to force anything on you but a pup will come looking for a job, he is a part of the Canine Global Security Watch Force, well, at least was, I would recommend you take him in," the man tells Ryder.
"Why would I ever trust him after what happened to Marshall and Gabriel?" Ryder asked angrily. "Because he can help you with security and knowledge on the Canine Global Security Watch Force," he tells Ryder. "Why are you telling me this?" Ryder asked him.
"Well for one you should know about what's going on but the real reason I am telling you is because of a promise I made to someone," The man said. "Okay, I will trust you for now but if something happens know you will be the one to blame," Ryder told the man.
"I can live with that, if you want to protect your pups you need more security, I am sure Rocky and Gabriel can help you with that," The man said and jumped off the Lookout. Ryder ran to the edge and looked down to see no one. " Who was that?" Ryder asked himself.
Sometime later
Ryder was walking down Adventure Bay by himself, just taking in everything that had happened over the last few days. 'First Marshall and Gabriel got attacked by some organization now a man sneaks into the Lockout without anyone Realizing. Never a dull moment I guess,' Ryder thinks to himself.
"Are you Ryder from the PAW Patrol?" Ryder hears a dog ask. He was not a pup but he wasn't a full-grown dog either. He was kind of in the middle. His fury was ruff and looked like a wolf. This must be the pup the man wanted me to meet. But I do not think the pup knows that.
"Yes, yes I am, need anything?" Ryder asked the pup. "Yes, you are the person I have been looking for, I want to join your team," the dog asked enthusiastically. "I am sure you are great but I don't even know your name, how about we start there," Ryder asked.
"Oh sorry, I got a little ahead of myself, my name is Sebastian," he said with a smile. "Well Sebastian, what are you good at?" Ryder asked Sebastian. "Well I am tough, I am sure I could be good at security," He tells me. "Well I guess I could use some new security, you know, I will think about," Ryder said.
Back to the present
After a few tests, Sebastian was a pretty good security pup but Ryder still doubted it. Most of the pups were getting to know the new members but one pup was noticeably missing. "Hey, has anyone seen Marshall, normally he would jump at the opportunity to meet the new pups?" Margareth asked.
"Yeah, you're right, where is he," Marcus asked. "He went down the slide," Sweetie answers Margareth's question. 'Now why would he leave' Margareth thought.
Marshall was sitting outside, thinking. Everything is going too fast for Marshall. He can't stop thinking. "You okay buddy?" Marshall looks at the pup. It was Chase. Chase was also having a hard time with his thoughts but he has always been better at hiding than Marshall.
"Honestly, I don't know Chase," Marshalls tells him with a sigh. "So, what's on your mind," Chase asked him warmly. "Everything," Marshall said with a whimper.
"So, the best way to get it out is to tell someone," Chase tells him. "You, aren't going to stop until you make me feel better are you," Marshall asked with a small smile. "Nope, not a chance," Chase tells him.
"Fine, well, I guess I am just having a hard time with everything that has happened recently," Marshall tells him. "Okay, well, how about we start at the beginning," Chase said.
"Well, I think it started with Gabriel, all my past is coming back to haunt me, I know how he forgave me but I can't forgive myself," Marshall tells him with a sad sigh. "Didn't know you still were struggling with your past, you aren't the same pup that bullied Gabriel years ago, you need to accept that you have changed," Chase tells him with a comforting smile.
"I know but it still happened, and that will never change. No matter how hard I try to accept my past, I just can't," Marshall said with a sad whimper. Chase sighs. "Listen, the only way to accept your past is to talk to Gabriel, this has gone too far so you need to talk to him," Chase tells him.
"I know," Marshall said with a sigh. "Are you sure that's all you're worried about?" Margareth said from behind Marshall and Chase. "I have a lot of things to worry about Margareth," Marshall tells her.
"Yeah, I know, just making sure we are on the same page, you still need to have that talk with Everest you know," Margareth tells him with a grin. "Don't remind me, just another thing to add to the pile," Marshall whined.
"What else is bothering you, is it Sweetie?" Chase asked with curiosity. "Yes and no, it is complicated," Marshall says. "Well that's one way to put it but we really should be getting back," Margareth said.
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea," Marshall said and started to walk in with Chase but Margareth stayed behind. She instead walks down to the driveway. She stared out at the road. "Come on, you said you'd be here by now," She said with a sigh.
As if on cue a red car pulled up. That brought a smile to Margareth's face. "Here's hoping this will raise his spirits," Margareth said and greeted their new guests.
Inside the Lookout, Marshal and Chase were greeting their new guests. "Good to have you on the team Sweetie," Marshall tells her. "Thanks, I hope I can be of use," Sweetie said with a shy smile.
"I am sure you will do fine and don't let Chase get in your way, he means well but is slow to trust new people and well you know," Marshall tells her. "Yeah," She said back not knowing what to say.
"Welcome to the team Sebastian, hope you have some good experience with security because Ryder is planning to fully redo it all," Chase tells him with a smile. "thanks and I have a bit, here's hoping it will be enough," Sebastian said with a smile. `
"I am sure it will but I will be watching you," Chase warns him. "Yes, sir," Sebastian yes. That brought a smile to Chase's face. "Okay pups, we have a few guests coming in today," Ryder said with a smile.
"New guest, do you mean Sebastian and Sweetie?" Marshall asked confused. "Nope, they are the new members, some pups want to stop by and say hello," Ryder said with a brighter smile. "Yeah, just some pups," A pup said from the entrance.
There stood five Dalmatians. One was Margareth but the others were new, there were two pups and two adults. There were two girls and two boys. "Good to see you buddy, been a little while hasn't it?" The male adult Dalmatian said.
"Dad?" Marshall said with a growing smile. "Yeah, ever since you and Margareth joined the PAW Patrol you guys haven't been around much, we miss you two ya know," The female pup said. "Are you just gonna stand there or are you gonna give us a hug?"
"Guys!" Marshal yelled and ran up for a hug. They all happily accepted. "Missed you too buddy," Marshall's dad said and held him. The other Dalmatian just watched with a smile. "No need to be so distant Austin, nice to see you again, how have you been?" Chase walked up and asked him with a smile.
"Good," he quickly answered. This is not Austin and Chase's first meeting, Austin actually stayed with Ryder Chase, and Marshall when the PAW Patrol first starts but ends up going back home. But Austin doesn't talk to most people after an accident.
"You know we are here for Marshall, no need to be so distant," Marshall's mother tells him while counseling him. "Yeah, we worry, like a lot," the girl pup said. "You too little miss," Marshall's father tells Margareth.
"I see you are still using that stupid nickname," Margareth shot at her father. "Of course I still use it, it is funny watching you pout about it," Her father tells her with a laugh. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up just don't expect me to give you as much of a warm welcome as Marshall would," She said back and giggled a bit, enjoying her time with her father.
Marcus watches on with a concerned face. "We need to talk, now," Sebastian whispered to Marcus with a serious face. Marcus nodded and walked off with him.
"Now I think it is time for you guys to introduce yourselves to everyone," Ryder said with a smile. "Yeah, it is probably about time we do that, My name is Nicholas, the father of Marshall, Margareth, Austin, Mariana, and Matthias," Nicholas said with a smile.
"And, I am their mother, Veronica, nice to meet you guys, I hear nothing but good things about your team," She tells the Ryder with a smile. "Your approval is very much appreciated but what about the rest of you," Ryder said with a smile.
"Well, I am Mariana, Marshall, Margareth, Matthias, and Austin's sister, nice to meet you guys," She said with a smile. "Just how many siblings does Marshall have?" Everest asked. "Well there is Matthias but he is away right now; I am sure you can find out we can be just as fun as my clumsy big brother," Mariana said with a giggle.
"And last is Austin," Nicholas said, pointing at his son, Austin. "He doesn't talk much but I am sure you guys will like him if you get to know him," He said with a smile. "Well, pups, give them a warm welcome," Ryder said with a smile. They all howled again and rushed to meet the new friends. Both Mariana and Austin. Marshal and Margareth watched on with a smile. "You have a lot of people who care about you, never forget that," Margareth tells Marshall with a smile.
Meanwhile outside with Marcus and Sebastian. "So what happened, it would be stupid for Antonio to send someone out after the attack so why are you here?" Marcus asked.
"Antonio didn't send me, I quit; Antonio has gone crazy with the prophecy over Gabriel," Sebastian said with a sigh. "I think Hunter was right, he has gone crazy," Sebastian said.
"Yeah, I know what you mean but it must be worse actually being there listening to his nonsense, enlisting pups, and attacking them to see if they can defend themself is just messed up but you need to tell Ryder where you're from," Marcus tells him.
"Why, it is in the past now," Sebastian asked. "I already told him about my past, he will find out about you eventually, it is better to tell him now than regret it later," Marcus tells him.
"Wait, why would you do that?" Sebastian asked. "Because I was tired of living a lie, I can't live like that," Marcus said. "He ordered an attack on Marshall, MY COUSIN! Can you really expect me to just follow orders when he does that?" Marcus harshly said.
"I know, that is why I quit, but you didn't need to tell him that," Sebastian said. "Ryder should know that someone is after his pups, he has the right to know," Marcus said with a huff.
"I guess you are right, let's go tell him," Sebastian said. Marcus and Sebastian then started to walk back into the Lockout on the look from Ryder. Back inside.
"So you guys really just go around helping people just because? it must be nice for the ton knowing you guys are around," Mariana says with a smile. "Yeah, the town of Adventure Bay is very happy to have us, we always like to help with anything we can," Skye tells her.
"So what do guys do for fun around here? you have to have something for downtime," Mariana asked. "There are a few things we do for fun around here, there is pup-pup-boogie, plenty of outside sports equipment, and we have a TV but Rubble mostly uses it to watch Apollo The Super Pup," Skye said.
"Well, I haven't been here a while so I would love to try out some pup-pup-boogie," Coral said with a smile. "Well it looks like we are playing pup-pup-boogie," Skye said. Then the girl started to set up the game.
"So nice to have you here again Austin, really," Chase tells him with a smile. "I know Ryder missed you even if he didn't say, well anything good on your end?" Marshall asked with a bright grin.
"Not really, just plain old place with the same old people," Austin answered with more words than he would normally. "Nothing wrong with that, how about me you and Chase go to the park? I will be just like old times," Marshall said with a silly grin.
"That sounds nice, I think I'd like that," Austin said with a small smile. "Then I guess it is settled, but let's tell Ryder before we leave," Chase said. "Ya because we would run off without telling him," Marshall said jokingly.
"It would be your first time Marshall," Austin said with a smile. "That was one time," Marshall protested. "And then that one time turned into two, then three, did you think Ryder hasn't noticed your secret trips to the forest?" Chase said with a grin.
"There is a reason it was secret, some pups need some alone time," Marshall said. "Let's just get going, wasting daylight here," Marshall said and they ran off to find Ryder.
Margareth and Gabriel watch the pups run around with a smile. "Nice to see everyone happy," Gabriels says. "I'll say, I think we need more of this, my brother may be good at hiding his feelings be he is stressed with everything," Margareth said with a sigh
"I wish he would just tell someone and not let it eat at him," Margareth said. "He is too nice for his own good sometimes," Gabriel points out. "Yeah, tell me about it, I just wish he would come and ask for help," Margareth whined.
"I am sure he will come around eventually," Gabriel reassured her. "Ya, you are probably right, he can't keep that bottled up forever," Margareth says and looks on at her friends having fun.
Both Nicholas and Veronica walked you to Margrth and Gabriel. "So, who is this Margareth?" Her mother asked. Margareth smile. "This here is Gabriel," She answered happily. "What is he, your boyfriend or something?" Her dad asked jokingly.
They both blushed hard. "DAD!" She yelled. "I'm just kidding little miss," he said with a smile. "Well don't joke about it, anyway how have you guys been?" Margareth asked. "If I am honest, boring, now with you and Marshall gone the place has become less lively," Veronica answered.
"Mariana tries her best to imitate Marshall but no one can replace him," She said with a sigh. "Come on honey, today is supposed to be a day of laughter, not sorrow," Nicholas said. "How about you tell them your favored story?" He asked.
"That sounds like a great idea, what do you two think?" She asked her daughter and Gabriel. "Well, I have heard it a thousand times but what do you think Gabriel?" Margareth asked him. "Sure, I would love to," he tells her.
"It is more of a prophecy than a story but here it is, the story states that a young and timid pup will overcome his fears and bring balance back to the world, now isn't that a nice thought," she said with a smile. "Yeah it is but it is very vague, is there anything else?" Gabriel asked curious.
"It is said that this pup will turn enemies into allies," She tells him with a smile. "Wow, if it is real I would love to meet this pup," Gabriel said with a smile. "Yeah but it is just a story, but I feel like you left some things out," Margareth said wondering.
"It has been a while since you heard it so I am sure you are just imagining things, anyway where did Marshall go?" She wondered and they both walked off. "You have some pretty great parents," Gabriel said with a smile.
"Ya, I guess I do," She said with a grateful smile.
