Chapter 1611
Was This For Real
Kyle felt a little sick. He didn't care for any of the groups they just needed to deal with. There were Grays, Fanatics, and future Scavengers. He couldn't understand the motivation behind them, especially those who chose to live as Scavengers. It didn't seem to matter what the time period was for their brutality. Their actions were all pretty much the same, with or without Skynet in the background.
"I hate Scavengers." Kyle said.
Derek did too. He was ready for some action.
"What's our next target?" Derek asked.
John Henry contacted them. From the com traffic, he knew the Reese brothers wanted a little more before they returned back to the Resistance base.
"I understand you're on your own time now." John Henry said. "I'm still working on some leads. I might have something soon from the phone data Jim sent to me."
CamNet took over directing Bob and Jim for now. If John Henry came up with any Skynet related targets for them, they would switch over to his control again. Derek and Kyle wanted to bring down some more future Scavengers first.
Bob received additional information from CamNet. There was more than one option available.
"Do you want to go after the street gang who attacked the girl, or the associates of the group we just took down?" Bob asked. "We have plenty of time. CamNet will back our play."
Kyle wanted to do both.
"Were the Metal girls going to take care of the street gang, or the mother's boyfriend?" Kyle asked. "I know they wanted some payback. I could see it was personal."
Jim knew they wanted to go after those who abused the female, especially Gail.
"Yes." Jim said. "They want to do both of those things."
Derek thought it was a no-brainer. They might be able to help a few more people if they acted soon.
"Let's finish off this last group." Derek said. "They may have more hostages."
Kyle thought hostages was a good term to describe those held by the future Scavengers. The way they were treated, especially the females, was little more than slaves.
"I want to free them if there are any there." Kyle said. "No one wants to exist under those type of conditions. No one should endure the abuse the females need to go through. I know we can't stop it everywhere, but every female we free is one more life we save, even if it's damaged."
Derek understood what Kyle meant. Jesse, Vanna, Allison, and Riley all needed to endure abuse in the future. Their lives were disrupted and damaged, but they all were able to adapt and continue on with life. Sometimes the past crept up on them. They were always able to support each other and get through any residual problems. Any females they freed would have a good shot at doing the same thing.
CamNet directed them to a new location. It wasn't far from where they were at now.
They drove past the location a short time later and did a quick recon. They also were provided with high altitude drone footage. It gave them a good overview in real time what was around them and behind anything they couldn't see. They would also have the ability for the drone to strike a target if they needed it to do so.
Derek looked over the images. He spotted a lot of familiarity to it.
"It looks about like the last place did." Derek said.
Kyle didn't like the looks of it at all. He was ready to act.
"How do you want to play this?" Kyle asked.
Bob and Jim looked at each other. They were both Terminators. There was no need to mess around when a job needed to be done. They liked to make a statement.
"We like to go in the front door." Jim said.
Bob nodded.
"It's a Terminator thing." Bob said.
Kyle remembered Sarah always told him the same thing about how Terminators operated in the 'past'. In his future, things happened more on the battlefield than in people's houses.
"We don't want to get shot up." Kyle said. "We don't want you to get shot up either."
Bob knew they needed to use caution.
"You can follow us in." Bob said. "We might miss someone."
Derek and Kyle doubted it. They figured they might leave one or two for them.
"Let's do it then." Derek said.
Bob drove around to the next building over. They parked in the back. It was in active use as a storage facility. They went over the fence and approached the target building from the blind side.
They were at the corner near the front door into what would have been the lobby of the abandoned building.
Bob looked at Jim, Kyle and Derek.
"Say when." Bob said.
The team was ready to act.
Gail and Camille-Hanna recently took control of the female Bob's team rescued earlier. She asked to be called Dee.
"We'll take you to a motel so you can get cleaned up." Gail said. "We have fresh clothes for you."
Dee was a little scared. She heard bad things happened in motel and hotel rooms from some of the other girls in the homeless camp. It was the clothes which Camille-Hanna presented to her which changed her mind. She could see it was personal to the nice man and the girls with her now.
"Those are clothes from the nice man's daughter aren't they?" Dee asked.
Camille-Hanna looked back and smiled. Jan gave her the clothes before they left the Resistance base earlier.
"They are." Camille-Hanna said. "She gave them to me herself."
Dee looked at them again and started to cry. It was clear these people really would help her.
"I think the nightmare is really over." Dee sobbed.
Gail was touched by her tears. She imagined a life like the girl was forced to live. She couldn't help but think of Jesse. She still thought about conducting her own temporal mission to go to Jesse's future. It was her future too. She would attempt to protect Jesse in her future's past. It would create another timeline. What happened to Jesse still would have happened to her. She was already out of the timeline.
She better understood Cameron's desire to 'fix' things in the past, or the future, or the past of the future. There were some wrongs which needed to be righted. The inability of those in charge to make sure the laws on the books were currently enforced, only added to the problem created by those who would end up as future Scavengers. Jesse and her dealt with them on their own whenever they got the chance. It was the only thing Jesse ever wanted to do in her free time. She wanted to protect other females going forward. It was a noble quest.
She wanted to focus her attention on the girl.
"It's over." Gail said. "You'll choose your future now."
Dee noticed the two groups of people who'd helped her carried weapons. She didn't see them on the two girls with her now, but she figured they carried some somewhere.
"Are you really going to kill Jamal?" Dee asked.
Camille-Hanna tilted her head slightly.
"Is he your mother's boyfriend?" Camille-Hanna asked.
Dee wanted to vomit as she thought of him. She relived the moment she needed to submit to him so her mother could get the drugs she was addicted to.
"Yes." Dee said. "I laid there with tears streaming down my face, as I stared at the ceiling and became a woman. He laughed as I cried out in pain when he started. It hurt so much. I didn't want to do it. My body didn't want it to happen. He did it anyway."
Gail heard the story through her com earlier.
"Your mother told you that you needed to do it for her." Gail said.
Dee was upset. Every time she thought about it, it bothered her.
"She told me she needed her 'medicine' and I needed to help her." Dee said. "She stole my childhood and ruined my life forever."
Camille-Hanna wanted to interject one thought. There needed to be some positive thinking to move things forward.
"You need to remember it's not about how far you've fallen or been pushed, it's about how you get back up and face everything again." Camille-Hanna said. "You need to control your destiny, not the other way around."
Dee looked angry as she thought about it. None of it was her fault.
"Yes." Dee said. "She said I had to help her 'pay' for it. She was just another junkie. She sold my virtue for an armload of 'horse'. I hate her. I didn't at first, but it happened every day. When the rest of his crew started to come around, it was worse. I hated all of them. Why did they need to flip me over? I still hate them."
Gail tilted her head slightly. Maybe it was time for some personal retribution. It seemed to help Jesse.
"Did you want to terminate them?" Gail asked.
Camille-Hanna looked quickly at Gail. She knew where things were headed.
"She means do you want to kill them?" Camille-Hanna asked.
Dee wanted justice.
"YES!" Dee said. "I did. I still do. You said you were going to kill Jamal for me."
Gail was updated by CamNet.
"Maybe we will wait before you put on your new clothes." Gail said.
Dee wanted to throw the rags away she currently wore.
"Why?" Dee asked.
Camille-Hanna knew why.
"Your old ones may get some blood on them." Camille-Hanna said. "There's no need to spoil the new ones."
Dee looked at her filthy clothes.
"Why?" Dee asked again.
Gail looked at Camille-Hanna. They were given a positive lead.
"We have the location of Jamal right now." Gail said. "We can stop by there on the way to rehab and seek justice."
Fire burnt in Dee's eyes and in her heart. She thought about what the big female said she was going to do. It didn't seem like an idle threat.
"Are you going to kill him for real?" Dee asked.
Gail tilted her head slightly. It's what Terminators did.
"Yes." Gail said. "Termination is always for real."
Camille-Hanna was worried they might involve the girl in too much. She was still young, even if the street added a decade to her life for every month she was on the street.
"Do you want us to take care of it now, or do you want to go to rehab first and not worry about what happens to them?" Camille-Hanna asked. "We will still take care of things for you."
There was a look of utter contempt on Dee's face.
"I'd like to see him suffer first." Dee said. "He always touted himself like he possessed a trophy or prize of some kind. All he did was mess me up, every time."
Camille-Hanna checked with CamNet see where Sheila was at. Sheila was currently unavailable. CamNet didn't mention Jesse so she didn't ask. Jesse dealt with the 'dark side' enough on her own.
Gail saw what Camille-Hanna checked on.
"Jesse taught me how to deal with Scavengers." Gail said. "This one is on me."
Dee wasn't sure what it meant.
"Will he suffer first?" Dee asked.
Gail looked back and smiled.
"He'll be known as 'Shorty' when I'm done with him." Gail said.
Gail knew he wouldn't keep the title for very long. She smiled at the thought of his termination.
Dee thought 'Lisa' looked really pretty when she smiled.
Earlier:
Sarah excused herself and left. She headed for Riley's room.
Summer left a few minutes earlier.
John Henry resumed working on running down the leads. He wanted to find more Grays or Fanatics. He really didn't care which one they found first at this point.
He was curious to see what CamNet did with the two teams which were out.
It looked like the Metal girls were going to act. They might take the female with them. He wondered if they would make her part of the operation.
He hoped to find something from the phone data Bob and Jim sent him. He knew the Reese brothers were upset about the girl. He didn't want them to take vengeance out on some of the other groups of potential future Scavengers.
Maybe it was too late.
They were about to enter a Scavenger haven.
Jesse was nude in Summer's room. She wanted to give Claire and Allison some time alone together before she joined them.
"You can stay in here as long as you want." Summer said.
Jesse looked a little nervous. She hadn't anticipated Summer would show up while she was nude in her room.
"Thanks." Jesse said. "I really didn't mean to intrude."
Summer turned to leave.
"You can join them after their next finish." Summer said. "They're almost there."
Jesse watched Summer leave her room. She went back over and watched Claire and Allison for a short time. It wasn't long until the next set of finishes. She looked back at where Summer was earlier and then entered Claire's room. She slipped off the robe as she headed for the bed. She knew things were going to be good.
As she reached the bed, Claire and Allison separated. She moved in between them. Allison started up high on her and Claire headed down low. She went straight to work.
Jesse squirmed some as things picked up. Allison moved a knee on each side of her and she went to work on her. Once everyone made it, Claire and Allison switched places.
It was all very exciting to Jesse. It wasn't just the physical act. It was what it represented. It was a dream come true. They switched positions and Claire was the one on her back. She started in on Claire, as Claire worked on Allison. Her eyes looked up along Claire's flat stomach to take all of it in. Allison and her quickly switched positions as the finishes were fast and frequent. As Claire worked on her, she watched Allison work on Claire. It was all just too exciting for her. It was exciting for all of them. Allison moved in back of her and everything was repeated again.
Jesse was thrilled as they switched to different positions and things were all done differently and other techniques were used.
Life was good in Paradise.
Was This For Real
Sometimes it's easier to hide
Than it is to conceal
When one is unsure of themselves
When they're afraid of what they might reveal
There's always more to find
When the layers began to peel
Maybe it's what it takes
To allow one once again to feel
As feelings grow and build
One's heart they may steal
Sooner rather than later they'll find out
No one's heart is made of steel
What should be a good time
Turns into a big ordeal
What should have been a snack
Turns into a meal
For some it means nothing
To others it's a big deal
At some point they may question
Was this for real
Nobody
