"Spirit!" Wyatt called out into the woods until Spirit poked his head out from the bushes, "Oh, there you are, look what I brought you." Wyatt held out a handful of berries and a plate of fish.
Spirit happily roared as he took a bit of fish off of the plate and began to eat some of it, after Spirit finished eating his food, he happily pounced on Wyatt and began licking his face.
"Oof." Wyatt laughed as Spirit laid on top of him, "Ok ok, Spirit! I missed you too!" Wyatt rubbed his face as Spirit kept licking him, "Sorry I don't get to spend too much time with you." Wyatt got up and lightly moved Spirit off of him, "I've just been really busy, what with challenges and all that." Wyatt pet Spirit's head, who gave a happy growl in response.
"But hey," Wyatt smiled, "It just makes these moments all the more worth it." Wyatt kept rubbing Spirit, who in turn rolled over for him.
"Ok." Wyatt began to rub Spirit's bully, "I'll give you a quick belly rub, but then I've got to go back to the mansion, don't want anyone else finding out about you." Spirit let out a small growl in response, "I know, you want to be with me all the time, but I just can't risk it, we really need to win the money for this." Spirit then let out a sad growl.
"Yeah, I'll miss you too." Wyatt stopped rubbing Spirit, "But once we get the money we need, we won't have to worry about it anymore, ok?" Wyatt asked Spirit, "Let's just wait a little longer." Spirit gave a slight nod in response to what Wyatt said, "And if we don't win, well, at least we'll have fond memories of our time here." Wyatt said as Spirit drifted off to sleep. Wyatt smiled as Wyatt fell asleep, "Good night Spirit." Wyatt rubbed his head one last time for the night before he began to head back to the mansion.
FreshmEn: Yeah, yeah, I know, another Spirit minisode? I wasn't actually gonna make this one at first, but my dog died before these chapters came out, so I guess I wanted to do a small tribute to him in the form of this mini.
