Right after the Hula dance challenge ended, Kodi and Will sat around the table in the Frog's shack, where the DnD game Kodi brought was set up. "I'm so glad we can finally finish the game we played the other day!" Kodi smiled, "It was getting really interesting."
"Yeah." Will gave a slight smile, "So where were we before it was interrupted?" Will asked.
"If I remember correctly, you were about to fight the evil goblin king, and you were about to finish the game," Kodi said as he pulled out a notepad with notes from the previous game jotted down on them, "It's his turn first, and he goes for a simple stab on your character." Kodi rolled a dice, which landed on a twenty, "Uh oh." Kodi held his hand over his mouth.
"What?" Will asked.
"He got a nat twenty, which means his attack was more than effective, and he sliced your arm clean off." Kodi winced, "Now you can try to mend it with that healing scroll you found earlier, but it requires a roll of fifteen or higher." Kodi wrote down what happened, "Will you use it or will you attack?"
"I'll use the fire spell I know to try and stop the wound from getting worse, so I can keep my health... that's a thing right?" Will asked.
"Um... I wouldn't recommend doing that." Kodi grimaced.
"Why not?" Will looked up at Kodi.
"Um... well you'd be throwing a fireball at yourself... and it would burn a lot more than just your arm." Kodi stated, "You'd most likely take yourself out by doing that."
"Oh." Will looked down, "Do I still have any bandages on me?"
"No, you used them all before you even entered the cave." Kodi shook his head, "Looks like your choices are running low."
"Um... well... I suppose I'll take my chances healing the wound." Will winced and rolled the dice, which landed on a one.
"Ah, you only got a one, so you couldn't fully heal the wound and took more damage because of it." Kodi stated, "And the goblin king goes for a fireball," Kodi rolled a seventeen, "Which was strong enough to defeat you." Kodi sadly stated.
"Oh." Will stored at the ground because of his failure, "I guess I just wasn't good enough... just like always." Will said under his breath.
"What was that?" Kodi asked the influencer.
"I said I'm going to bed." Will got up, "I'm just feeling really tired, especially after all of that dancing today." Will prepared to walk away, only for Kodi tap his shoulder,
"Will, you're not hiding your true emotions about Alex, right?" Kodi asked his friend.
"No." Will softly replied as he walked away, "I'd never do that." Will bluntly said as he walked off.
"O-ok," Kodi looked at Will in sadness, "I'll see you tomorrow I guess... good night."
"Good night." Will replied as he headed off to bed.
