Pre Challenge Opening/Mitch and Carlton's Challenges written by Zoryan El Muerto
It was a warm sunny day on the shores of Sakamannano, where today's episode started off at the hosts' mansion pool. Where we see our four 'handsome' interns laying on floating rafts in the pool. Mitch in his white swim shirt and black shorts, Buck wearing red plaid trunks, Carlton wearing rainbow-colored swim trunks with duck floaties and pink goggles, and Billy wearing a camo diving suit.
You may be wondering, why are these four lazing about when there's work to do? Well, you see dear viewers, if you don't remember what happened on the last episode of Sakamannano, Drew headed off to go fight his wrestling rival and took the other two hosts with him, leaving the interns in charge for the day... the only problem? None of them knew what to do for today's challenge.
"I'm bored." Billy droned as he dipped his arms in the pool.
"I'm more bored." Buck sighed while laying on his side.
Carlton groaned while on his raft, "I'm chairman of bored."
Mitch closed a blank book that was labeled 'challenge ideas', "My boredom is in the Guinness Book of Boredom. Nothing to do, no challenge planned or anything."
"Come on guys, there has to be something." Billy told the other boys, "Oh, how about we go camping or something? That could be fun."
"No way, have you seen what's in the island's forest?" Mitch rebuffed as he fell off his raft nervously, "Buck, how about you show us that new invention you've been working on? Maybe we can force the contestants to use it in a challenge or something."
"I would, but Hack shot it out of a cannon the other day." Buck replied, "How about you read us what you got for your latest book? Let's do a horror challenge or somethun'."
"Sorry, but I got nothing. I have the worst case of writer's block, after that shark fiasco I'm all tapped out of inspiration," Mitch responded as he got back onto his raft.
Billy looked over to Carlton, "What about you Carl, any bright ideas?"
"How about we do something like 'I spy'?" he clears his throat, "Like, I spy with my little eye-"
"Four interns about to be murdered by Drew for not doing a proper challenge today." Mitch finished.
"Ugh, that's it!" Carlton suddenly shot up, only to fall into the water. He stood up in the pool, "We are not got gonna get anywhere if we just lay around like a bunch of couch potatoes! So get off your lazy butts and help find a way to entertain ourselves before I lose it!" Carlton panted from his rant.
"Dang Carl," Billy yawned as he slid off his floatation raft.
"Sorry." Carlton simmered as he twiddled his thumbs, "I lost my cool for a moment."
"But he's right," Buck spoke as he and Mitch got down from the rafts, "We're not gonna get anywhere just sitting here, I'm sure there's something we could do for a challenge before Drew and the others come back. He may not have left us with instructions on what to do today, but we can certainly just wing it if we go an try hard enough!"
"Like what exactly?" Mitch groaned before they heard laughing, they all got out of the pool and looked over the fence and saw the cast of the season all over the beach. Beatrice was laying on her back in the ocean, with Sebatstian Jr resting on top of her, Kodi and Flora were splashing each other in the shallow part of the water, Elizabeth and Melissa were playing Van and Paige in a volleyball game, Wane was roaming the beach with a metal detector where he found an old medallion, Sasha and Brandon were sunbathing and talking about whatever it is they talk about, Timothy was drawing in the sand with a stick, and King just stood at the boardwalk with a very calm look as he stared over the horizon.
"You guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Carlton asked.
"A beach challenge?" Buck shrugged as he turned away from the contestants.
Billy shook his head, "Cancel the episode entirely?"
"One of the contestants is a murderer!" Mitch freaked out as he watched them with wide and suspicious eyes.
"No, no, and what?" Carlton shook his head, "Look, what if the four of us make the contestants do a challenge specifically based on us four?" before Billy can say anything, "Think about it, Drew left us in charge for a reason, right? So making this challenge something that fits all of our strengths could work!"
Buck tilted his head as he thought about the idea, "Are you sure about this?"
"You guys got any better ideas?" The interns looked at each other before looking at the thespian.
"I guess it would be a nice way to get some inspiration." Mitch shrugged as he grabbed a towel and dried himself off.
Billy tapped his chin before responding, "Well, we don't have any other ideas."
"Well Carlton, we're with yah!" Buck stated with a thumbs up.
"Fabulous! Now listen closely." Carlton huddled the interns together and whispered to them...
Confessional: Buck
"Carlton said before we start, I should do something about Timothy's cameras so that he doesn't spoil anything..." Buck looked around for cameras before shaking his head, "Oh wait, he already got rid of them... I keep forgetting that."

Confessional: Billy
"I suppose I'm a little skeptical of this idea of Carl's, but I'm willing to see it through." Billy shrugged his shoulders.

Van and Paige panted as they finished playing their game of volleyball with the two Frogs, "So... what was the score again?" Van asked as she wiped sweat off of her forehead.
Elizabeth laughed, "Twenty-five to three, looks like you guys need to get a little better at this." Elizabeth teased, "But good game to you two."
Paige crossed her arms and pouted, "Aw we almost had it! We were gonna make a huge comeback and everything!"
Van chuckled as she shook Melissa's hand, "Nah it was a good game, but man do we gotta step it up! We could hardly hit the ball over the net!"
Melissa didn't say anything, still sticking to the belief not to socialize too much with opponents in the competition.
"Hey how about we play another game later? Just give us five." Van asked Elizabeth, who gave a thumbs up in response.
"Sure," Elizabeth replied, "I could use a breather too." Elizabeth walked over to a water cooler that was set up by their volleyball net.
Van walked over to the end of the 'court' with Paige and looked around to see if any of her teammates were watching them, "Ok, I'm gonna be real with you Paige, I feel like we gotta look out for each other a lot now." Van told the archer, who tilted her head in response.
"What's that mean? We've got Sasha on our side as well, we really only have to worry about King and Wane until the merge comes around." Paige looked over at the two and then back at Van, "I'm sure we'll be fine in the merge, all we gotta worry about is the Frogs!"
Van winced as she looked at the ground, "Well... the whole Becky thing kinda makes me want to distance myself from Sasha, I'll be honest. I don't know why, but my gut's telling me to stay away if she's gonna try and talk to her about something private out in public, feels wrong, you know?"
"I guess." Paige shrugged.
Van sighed, "And yeah, King and Wane aren't exactly pleasant. But I think we should just try and keep our heads down come merge, let's try to avoid getting involved with everyone else's problems from now on, you follow me?"
Paige thought for a moment and shook Van's hand, "Yeah, I understand."
Confessional: Van
"I don't want to go and betray Sasha or anything, but I also don't want to be on her side at the moment." Van sighed, "So right now staying down feels like the best choice."

Confessional: Paige
Paige sighed, "If only Wyatt were still here, he'd know what to do and would help me make the right decision."

Elizabeth grabbed a cup of water as Melissa took a deep breath as she went to go talk to her, "Hey Liz, I just wanted to talk about-"
"No." Elizabeth shook her head as she set down her cup of water.
Melissa blinked twice at the quick response, "I didn't even say anything yet."
"You were gonna ask me to change my mind about what I said the other day about you and Timothy, aren't you?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Please, let it go already, you two argue so much all the time, just forget about him, the merge can't be too far away, just listen to what I said and wait for it to come."
"I was..." Melissa knew she was being called out for her behavior and wanted to make up a lie to change the subject, "Just gonna ask if you could invite Brandon to play volleyball! You know he's always out with Sasha and all that, figured we should make him hang out with some of us, don't want the Chickens manipulating him you know?" Melissa faked a smile.
"Oh." Elizabeth moved back in surprise, "Sorry for jumping the gun on you. But yeah, I could ask him, although, I don't think it's too much of a problem if he talks to other people."
"Right..." Melissa nodded, "Not a problem..."
Confessional: Melissa
Melissa sighed, "No offense to her, but Elizabeth really doesn't understand how competitions work sometimes. We're two teams competiting against eachother now, so Brandon shouldn't be talking to Sasha." Melissa realized how bad that sounded and blushed in embarrassment, "I mean, he can talk to whoever he wants to, but the team's gonna get the wrong idea! A-and Elizabeth is a great captain!"

While King was sitting on the beach, Wane managed to sneak up behind the perfectionist and quickly pickpocketed him before whistling to pretend like he was doing nothing. King turned around to see Wane and simply rolled his eyes at the distraction. Wane walked away from King and set down his metal detector before looking at his hand to see what he stole from King.
"Now what'd I get?" Wane thought to himself as he opened his hand to reveal a small golden heart locket with 'K + R' written on it. "A love locket? Laaaaaaaame!" Wane rolled his eyes and gagged as he felt a presence creep up behind him. The conman turned around to see King towering over him with a very unimpressed look on his face.
"Uh... hello there!" Wane tried to hide a locket but it was no use as King simply knocked him over the head and picked up the locket and put it in his pocket.
King rolled his eyes as he turned around, "My expectations of you only get lower."
Wane dizzily moved around as he fell into the sand, "R-right! I'll keep that in mind!" Wane let out a small thumbs up in pain as he stayed down in the sand.
"Haha!" Kodi laughed as he and Flora were playing around in the ocean, "I'm so glad the storm from the other day is gone! Who knew it'd turn into such a beautiful day for the beach?"
"I know right?" Flora laughed as she splashed some water at Kodi, which the D&D ducked under, only for the water to fly out and splash over Timothy's sand drawing, making it unreadable. "Whoops! I'm sorry Timothy I didn't mean to!" Flora called out to the tattletale who looked down at the ground and groaned.
Flora gave a sympathetic look towards Timothy before turning back to Kodi, "Hey, I'm gonna take a sec to check on Timothy, I'll be right back."
"Ok- YAH!" Kodi jumped up in pain from something pinching him on the finger, he lifted up his hand to see none other than Sebastian Jr, who just gave him a blank stare in response.
"Jr!" Beatrice swam over to Kodi, "What did I tell you about running off like that? I don't want to lose another crab here!" Beatrice lectured the crab before taking it off of Kodi's finger, "Are you alright Kodi?" Beatrice looked down at Kodi's hand to see it was red, but not bleeding.
"It's fine... very sore though..." Kodi tried to smile as he waved his hand around to numb the pain.
"Well don't do that!" Beatrice told Kodi as she held up his arm, "You've gotta clean the area just to be safe, he might've broken the skin and we haven't even noticed yet! Try going to the bathroom to just wash it off a bit, and if you see any bleeding just put a bandaid on it, it'll go away after a bit, it's no different than a cut really."
"Wow, you're very knowledgeable on this stuff," Kodi gripped his hand as he walked out of the water.
Beatrice nodded and smiled, "I do a lot of research on marine life whenever I get the time, it helps with understanding what mermaids are like. Plus it's pretty funny to point out flaws in mermaid stories when they get common facts wrong." Beatrice jokingly rolled her eyes, "But yeah, I'd wash that if I were you, just to be safe."
Kodi nodded, "Will do!" Kodi ran past the pairing of Flora and Timothy to go treat his crab pinch.
"What's got you so down today Timmy?" Flora shook Timothy, who kept looking at the ground.
Timothy groaned, "Elizabeth told me no more cameras in the hut, I have no more confessional cameras... the secrets are slipping away from my fingers..." Timothy complained, "Everyone else gets to be like what they're like but not me." Timothy sighed as he tossed away his stick.
"Well, come on," Flora gave a light hit to Timothy's shoulder to cheer him up, "There's gotta be something else you like to do!"
"Well I..." Timothy thought for a moment, "Uh... I like... I like good guys! Yeah! Like heroes and stuff like that!" Timothy snapped his fingers, "But my plan to expose the truth was good deed, and they took it away from me..."
"Maybe you should try just focusing on the game for a bit, you know, suppress those urges for now!" Flora suggested, "I'm sure they can't stop you from being yourself forever, so maybe you just gotta wait it out?"
Timothy thought for a moment before sighing, "It won't matter."
"Why not?" Flora tilted her head to see why Timothy was so down.
Timothy let out a long sigh, "If we lose, I'll be voted out no matter what, there's no point in doing anything to fight back. I overheard Melissa a while ago making a little pact or whatever with Elizabeth. In short, they're teaming up to get me out whenever we lose, I'm only here because of Will's breakdown the other day. I..." Timothy picked up a small rock and chucked it straight at the ocean, "Lost! As soon as the merge comes that's it for me, she's gonna gather all her friends together and they're gonna send me away!" Timothy gritted his teeth, unaware that Elizabeth had cut her ties with Melissa's pack, "I'm useful for the team too! I know something nobody else here does but I'll be screwing myself if I say anything!"
"O-oh... I didn't realize it was like that." Flora looked away for a moment, "Well, if that does happen, I'll be sure to try and save you from that!" Flora promised, "Besides, I have faith that our team won't turn on you like that! You've done so much for us!"
Timothy gave a slight smile, "Well, that's nice to know... I just hope you're right."
"I hope so too." Flora wrapped her arm around Timothy and hugged him.
Confessional: Timothy
"Flora's really helping with the confidence boosts lately," Timothy smiled in the confessionals, "Makes me believe, yeah, that bitch ain't gonna get me out before I get her out!"

"Sorry Liz, I kinda just wanna relax for the moment." Brandon told Elizabeth as he lay down under the sun, "I'd love to play later if I had the time." Brandon put his arms behind his back as Elizabeth shrugged her shoulders.
"It's not a problem Brandon, just figured I'd ask since Melissa wanted me to." Elizabeth told Brandon, causing both him and Sasha to sigh in annoyance, "Bad topic?" Elizabeth asked.
Brandon shook his head, "No it's fine..."
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow before shaking her head, "Ok then... I'm gonna go back to the game, hopefully I'll see you there later!" Elizabeth walked off before Brandon turned to Sasha.
"She really doesn't give up..." Brandon rubbed his head in slight annoyance.
Sasha sighed, "Yeah... though I'd say that's the least of my worries right now, I sort of doomed myself on my own team, and now I'm alone."
"Seriously? They're that upset with you?" Brandon asked, "It was a mistake."
"I think they believe I went out of my way to hurt Becky or something," Sasha purported, "But that's not true, I just wanted to talk to her about it."
"Well maybe you should-" Brandon was suddenly cut off by the sound of an intercom turning on.
"Ahem! Is this thing on?" The intercom announced to the island, "Attention Chickens and Frogs, you have fifteen minutes to report to the stage where you will meet your, frankly, beautiful substitute host Carlton!"
Brandon sighed in response to the announcement, "I was really hoping for an extra off day, oh well, see you there."
"Yeah." Sasha got up and headed off to the bathroom to change back into her normal clothes, "I'll see you there."
After the two teams were called down to the island's stage, they were met with the sight of Carlton standing at the very top of the stage, "Welcome fools." Carlton jumped off the top of the stage and landed straight on his legs. The intern winced from the pain but kept his act up, "So you think you can challenge the king of acting at his own game?" Carlton grinned as two colored spotlights shined on him.
"Actually, nobody said that." Sasha corrected the intern who gave an upset look in response.
Carlton stomped his foot on the ground, "Ahem! Let me act!" Carlton snarked at Sasha before doing a pose, "Well if it's an acting challenge you want, it's an acting challenge you'll get, both of your teams will have to face off in method acting, what's method acting you ask-"
"Nobody asked!" Wane sneered as Carlton again gave an upset look.
Carlton stomped his foot again and coughed, "It is the act of remaining in character for whatever character you play, no matter the situation. Be it on camera or off camera, on stage or off stage. You need to be able to remain in character, even if the world is crashing around you." Carlton told them, "The most people to remain in character in the allotted time frame will win the challenge for their team, and maybe even the respect of me, the acting king. But to determine what roles you'll be playing... you will each come up and draw from..." Carlton stomped his foot twice as a blue squid hat was tossed to him from off stage, with the inside of the hat being full of little slips of paper, "This hat! Alright, we're gonna go round-robin style. First up from the Frogs... Elizabeth."
The scarecrow got up on stage and reached into the squid hat, pulling out a slip of paper "Hmmmm, a stereotypical Jersey girl with huge hair, a fur coat, and I'm... obsessed with cheese puffs."
"Alright, from the Chickens can we have Miss Paige come on up?" Carlton asked.
"I'm right here." Paige appeared behind him, causing him to jump up in surprise as Paige grabbed a slip from the hat. Paige read the note, "A disturbed brooding goth obsessed with the dark arts, hates everyone and is trying to summon Satan. Sounds like fun!"
Confessional: Carlton
"Me and the guys workshopped a ton of different characters, with loads of wacky and zany characteristics." Carlton revealed an entire notebook full of character types, "We had to do my challenge first too, the others had to go and choose the harder ones to set up."

Confessional: Mitch
"I wrote the goth girl persona, based on many of the stereotypes of goths in media." Mitch stated, "Not my best work, but it's fun."

"Kodi, you're up next," Carlton said as the D&D nerd hopped on stage.
"Says here, I'm playing a medieval peasant selling rags in desperate need of money to support my husband and our two babies." Kodi read, "Sounds just like one of my low-roll games!"
"Ooooo, that's a good one. Mixes your love of fantasy and your future with Will." Carlton teased the nerd as Kodi squeaked and ran off with a beat red face, "Okay, Wane your up next for the chickens."
Wane saunters up and drew his role, "A charitable business owner? And now I vow not to be cheap for anything!?"
The others laughed at Wane's misfortune; Sasha scoffed lightly, "Wane... being generous? This I have to see."
Wane dragged his feet as Carlton called up the next contestant, "Melissa."
Melissa grabbed her role, "I'm a creep that's always looking for new secrets, constantly invades other people's space, and spies on everyone. Where have I heard that before?"
Timothy said nothing, preferring to look away with his arms crossed.
"Well looks like you'll have an easy time with that." Van joked.
"Van, you're up next," Carlton announced as Van went up the stage.
Van gets her role, "I'm a recluse astronomy professor that spends more time working than socializing. Awwwwww, I'm Kae Kae!" Van gushed.
"So you are." Carlton giggled, "Okay if you already got your role, please make your way backstage to the costume area where you'll find everything you need for your role." Carlton ushered the actors away. Carlton then looked at the remaining players that need roles, "Timothy you're up."
Timothy grumbled to himself, "I am not a creep." Timothy reached into the hat and pulled out his slip of paper, "Oh come on! I'm an avid hula dancer that lives and breathes hula!?"
"On the bright side, you are definitely getting your money's worth on your hula outfit." Carlton chuckled.
"Its. My. Sister's!" Timothy groaned before heading off to the back of the stage.
"Sasha, if you may," Carlton called up Sasha.
Sasha came up and pulled out her slip, "Let's see, a football-playing jock that's always roughhousing and screaming about school spirit? Ugh, of course it had to be that." Sasha rolled her eyes at the thought but didn't elaborate.
"Next up is Brandon! Brandon if you will," Carlton called up the mechanic, who went up and grabbed his role. He gained a 'what the heck?' look before handing it to Carlton. Carlton read the note and lightly chuckled "He'll be a guy that just finished running a marathon..."
"That doesn't seem too bad," Beatrice chuckled.
Carlton finishes off, "Who also happens to be nine months pregnant."
"Oh." Beatrice's eyes widened before she let out a small bit of laughter.
Brandon stayed silent before suddenly peeping up, "I have so many questions..."
Carlton sent him away before calling, "Alright, King. You're last for the chickens." King just sat there stone-faced ignoring the thespian. "King? King?" the rich man just kept ignoring him. "Well guess I'll choose for him." Carlton shrugged before reaching into the hat. He pulls a slip, "Okay King since you didn't want to pick your poison... you'll be playing a sweet and innocent farm boy from Alabama who's always nice and never gets upset about anything, and you're also afraid of technology."
Confessional: Buck and Mitch
"Five bucks says he breaks character first." Buck bet.
"Twenty says he doesn't last two minutes." Mitch furthered the bet.
Buck let out his hand and shook Mitch's hand, "Deal."

King got up and limped to the back. Carlton then looked to Flora and Beatrice, "Okay, you two. If you both would come up."
The two girls went up, with Flora walking up to Carlton while Beatrice noted the numbers advantage on the Frogs, "Isn't this a little unfair for the other team?"
"Pssh, this is Total Drama, we gotta have something to make the teams work hard." Carlton held out the squid hat for the girls to pick their roles.
Flora pulled out a slip, "Says I'm a motivational speaker, with a disease that makes her legs wobbly at random."
"All I got is 'cat', couldn't I be a catfish?" Beatrice asked the intern.
"Sorry Bea, the squid has spoken," Carlton shrugged, he then sent the two girls off. "Alright audience, let's see which of these rookies has the power to remain in character the longest. The most teammates in character after thirty minutes will win the challenge for their team," Carlton told an imaginary crowd, "Hopefully the others can get their challenges done during this time." Carlton spoke as the screen faded out to show time passing...
"Welcome back to the stage folks! Today we'll be throwing a little house party," Carlton announced for the camera, "The guest haven't gotten here yet, but they should be..."
Knock, knock
"Oh, looks like guests have arrived." Carlton went to a door and opened it up. "Greetings lovelies- AH!" he coughed as a cloud of hairspray came on stage, which dissipated to reveal Elizabeth wearing an oversized white fur coat, hair done up, and cow-printed boots, all while holding a big bag of cheese puffs. "Why hello there Miss..."
"Nikki Poliza, famous Tik Taker from Jowsey." Elizabeth replied in a typical Jersey accent, "But my friends call me Smooki, not sure why. Cheese poof?" she held out the cheese puff bag.
"No thanks, I'm good." Carlton said as 'Smooki' ate some cheese puffs as the next character came through the door.
"Ugh, people." sneered Paige who was dressed in a black dress, fishnet stockings, elbow-length gloves, a black veil, and black boots.
"And uh, you must be..." Carlton began.
"Uuuuuuuuuuugh, my mortal name is Sandy Wiggums. But I highly suggest you refer to me as... Zukara, soon-to-be bride of the dark lord." 'Zukara' stomped to the other side of the stage.
'Smooki' noticed 'Zukara' and turned to her, "Must say, you are really pulling off that goth look gorl! Cheese poof?"
"Get that processed shit away from me!" 'Zukara' hit the bag away.
Ding, dong
"Looks like someone else is here!" Carlton closed a fake oven before going to the door, "Why hello there... wait I didn't invite you."
In comes Kodi, dressed similarly to how King looked in the VR world carrying a basket of rags. "Hello sir, would you like to buy some rags?" Kodi asked as he put on a desperate tone.
"Um... I guess I could take one." Carlton handed him a dollar, which Kodi exchanged for a rag.
"Thank you, kind sir." Kodi walked into the scene, "It's been rough for me and my husband, he's out looking for another job after his company went bankrupt. Oh, where are my manners?" Kodi shook Carlton's hand. "I'm Berry Lemmings, and these are my kids. Tilly and Melvin." 'Berry' motioned to the air next to him.
"Well, things can only get better, right?" Carlton shrugged as he talked to 'Berry', "I suppose you could join the party for a bit."
"Let's hope," 'Berry' responded to the first part as he walked further into the set as Wane stepped up at the door.
"What's up people? Dane Britsky here to serve hungry customers." 'Dane' grinned as he spun a spatula, he was also holding a prop soda machine for some reason.
'Berry' went up to the door in response, "Oh I would take a medium burger and two baby burgers, but I can't afford it."
"Well that's too B-" 'Dane' saw Carlton's expression; 'Dane' broke into a sweat before saying "aaaad, but... here you can just take them on the house, you clearly need it." Wane's shook his arms as he gave Kodi a free imaginary meal.
Confessional: Wane
Wane shuddered, "It's not even real and it feels wrong..."
Confessional Over
"Oh, thank you sir. You're too kind." 'Berry' smiled at 'Dane'
"And don't forget... your free toy." 'Dane' softly whimpered at giving 'Berry' a little dragon figure, right as there was a knock on the door. Carlton then opened up to reveal a bush, "Um, why is there a bush with a microphone on a stick?" Carlton scratched his head.
"Pay no attention to the shrub and tell Timantha Hale all your secrets." Melissa's voice was heard as she held the microphone up to Carlton, who walked away in response.. The shrub followed him into the room but stopped when Carlton turned around to answer another knock.
"Speaking of 'Tim'," Carlton says as Timothy sashayed in, wearing the hula outfit that he wore back in the hula challenge along with a long flowing red wig.
"Good day sir, may Catarina Flores grace this fine establishment with dance?" Timothy spoke in a voice laced with sultriness, inwardly thinking 'I'm slowing dying'. Following behind him was Van wearing an extra assemble left behind by Kaito, down to his gloves and goggles, she was looking over a book of notes.
"And I'm safe to assume you must be Kite Kayori?" Carlton inquired.
"I'm only here because my sister Akiki thought I could use some fresh air and human contact," Van said in an approximation of Kaito's running-on-fumes tone.
"Well, drinks and snacks are provided." Carlton ushered 'Kite' in, "Just don't get yourself kicked out ok?"
Kaito and Alex were busy playing a game of cards at the aftermath studio when Kaito suddenly let out two sneezes, "Excuse me." Kaito rubbed his nose with a tissue, "I don't know where that came from."
'Kite' went to sit on the couch, next to 'Berry' who fed little bits of hot dog to... nothing. Meanwhile, 'Smooki' was talking with 'Dane'. "Hey burger guy, would you like to try some cheese poofs?"
'Dane' took a breath, "Actually... cheese puff burger..." he pretended to hold out an open burger and held it out for 'Smooki' to dump cheese puffs on it. 'Dane' placed a 'bun' back on it and takes a 'bite' and hummed, "Actually, it's not bad."
"Knew it, cheese poofs make everything bettah." 'Smooki' grinned with confidence, "Though I get half of the profits."
'Dane' bit his lips before grunting out, "Fair... enough." 'Dane' squeaked as he resisted the urge to charge her an unreasonable amount of money.
Ding, dong.
Carlton opened the door as in come the rest of the players, we have Beatrice crawling in on her hands and knees purring as she brushed against Carlton's leg, she was also trying her hardest to not break character out of pure embarrassment. Beatrice also had a collar that was attached to a leash carried by Flora who wore a lime green polo with khaki shorts, white knee socks, and black shoes. "I see you met Fluffy, we appreciate you having us over."
Following behind her was Sasha coming in dressed in a football outfit with the matching helmet as she ran into the scene, "Chad Jackson going in deep, TOUCHDOWN!" Sasha yells as she dives over the table and slams a football on the floor, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THAT'S HOW WE URCHINS GO!" Sasha then flossed dances to make herself look as obnoxious as possible.
Following behind her was a tired Brandon dressed in a blue sleeveless jersey, shorts, and high tops. Under his shirt was a beach ball serving as a baby bump, "Wait for me Chaddy." Brandon fake-wheezed out, "Why did I run that marathon?"
"Sorry Rhea, but I only know two speeds. Fast, and super-fast." 'Chad' then leaped over a chair and 'kissed', 'Rhea' on the cheek. "And hey, you still won that race, and that's all that matters!"
"Thanks... but I... need water." 'Rhea' continued to pant.
The two went to the kitchen as Carlton tapped Flora on the shoulder, "Um, excuse me?"
"Oh, where are my manners? I was too busy admiring this antique vase." Flora said before shaking Carlton's hand, "I'm Sydney Hendrix, motivational speaker. I devoted my life to helping- WOAH MY LEGS!" she flopped down to the ground, where 'Fluffy' just sat next to her with a disappointed look on her face.
"Okay." Carlton does a headcount, "That's almost everyone, now-" Carlton stopped as he saw King limping at the door.
"I do say, it is rather rude of you to not invite a guest inside your home when he's been standing outside for a while," King slightly crossed his arms, "Well, that's what mama taught me, anyways, I'm sure you're a lot nicer than that and just forgot."
Carlton blinked twice at King completely changing his personality, "Uh... welcome."
"Eh who cares about that joker, I bet he couldn't handle all of this! WOO!" 'Chad' chest bumped 'Berry', knocking him to the floor.
'Rhea' panted, "Oh man, I'm tired... oooo I felt a kick... I gotta sit down."
'Sydney' went up to the guy playing a pregnant marathoner, "Ah yes, as we embark on our journey, we may come across a number of options of sitting. I know that each one holds a different path, may the one you choose be fruitful for you."
"Um... thanks?" 'Rhea' went and gingerly sat on a red beanbag that was on the stage.

"Alright, now let's see which of these kids can stay in character. No matter what I do, the contestants must not break their character at all..."
Confessional Over
Just then Carlton stopped, "EUP! I spy a fly with my little eye!" Carlton grabbed a fly swatter, "Get over here you little runt!" he got in the center of the stage, "Where'd he go?!"
'Timantha' the shrub stood up and tapped her chin, "I think I saw the fly in question nearby, if you tell me a secret I'll tell you."
"There he is!" 'Smooki' pointed to Wane's prop soda machine, which was resting on the room's counter.
"I GOT YOU NOW!" Carlton runs up and rams into the machine, pulling it down as it fell on top of him and break apart.
"Woah! Those evil city machines strike again!" King suddenly yelled out, "Mama always said the city was full of bad men making death traps! I should've listened!"
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Flora yelped in terror as she went over and helped him to his feet.
Carlton acted all loopy and dazed, "Who... who there's?" He asked as little thespians danced around his head.
"It's me, Flora!" Flora told Carlton as she helped him up.
Carlton suddenly pointed at Flora, "EEEH!" Carlton howled, making Flora rear back "Flora you broke... character! You're out!" He ushered her off stage.
"Huh? But-but-" Flora stammered before Carlton cut her off.
"Can't make it easy for you guys, just go sit in the stands and watch," Carton told her before walking away.
"Okay." Flora nodded before gracefully exiting stage right.
"It was nice meeting you." 'Berry' told Flora as she went off the stage.
'Rhea' groaned as he held his stomach, "At least you ain't pregnant and exhausted from running a marathon."
Flora nodded before meeting 'Smooki' at the door, the fake Jersey girl offered some cheese puffs, which Flora accepted before walking out the door and joining the stands "Enjoy the cheese poofs!"
'Dane' bit his lip as Carlton looked at the broken soda machine, "Whoops, these things cost a fortune, sucks it broke" Carlton said to 'Dane' as he waited for a response.
"Yeah..." 'Dane' gave a forced smile as he went over to the theater kid, "Well, maybe not. That machine is old, worn out, and... on the fritz. Anyway, I needed a reason to replace it. So let's just forget about it and I'll make you something as compensation..." 'Dane' forced himself to keep his smile as he handed Carton an imaginary burger.
On the other side of the room, 'Berry' was talking to 'Rhea' and 'Chad', "So, what do you think it will be?" 'Berry' asked 'Rhea'.
'Rhea' panted as the marathoner took another spritz of water, "Don't know... Chad hopes a boy..."
"Gotta preserve the Jackson bloodline, but hey, regardless of their gender I am showing them the wonders of football." 'Chad' stated as 'he' patted 'Rhea's shoulder pretty hard.
"Well I wish you two the best of luck, kids can be a real handful." 'Berry' rocked his imaginary twin babies to sleep.
'Fluffy' scratched on a couch leg before she saw a red dot on the floor, she grabbed at it before it moved to the side. The 'cat' kept pawing the dot as Carlton moved a laser pointer around the stage. "Wow she is very committed." Calrton then shined it at 'Zukara's lap.
The 'cat' went up to 'Zukara' and tilted her head at the fake goth, 'Zukara' blinked before softly smiling and petting the mermaid fanatic on the head. "A fine feline, missing your owner?" the 'cat' meowed, "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. Though I think you could use a new coat." 'Zukara' took Fluffy off-stage, unintentionally eliminating them both from the challenge.
'Catarina' kept dancing, planting his hands on the room's kitchen counter as he swayed his hips, the dancer then danced near the shrub where 'Timantha' held a camera "Come on, give me something juicy. Something so deliciously moist." 'Ugh, that sounded so wrong' the girl behind the mask thought to herself.
'Catarina' heard the voice, 'Does she really think I talk like that... all the time?' the faux dancer thought, 'Oh well, just keep playing your part'.
Confessional: Carlton
"Only a couple more minutes until the end of the challenge, I know Wane is so close to breaking. I did a little digging and found a little something..."
Confessional Over
'Dane' kept sweeping the stage as Carlton went up to him, "Hey Dane, this came in the mail for you."
'Dane' stopped before taking the envelope "Oh... it's from the higher ups, it must be a reward for all my hard work..." he opened up the envelope and saw something that made him go wide eyed 'It's a fake lawsuit Wane, don't break...' "Only twenty... thousand dollars in legal damages... No big deal, I'll just use all the profits from my restaurant."
Carlton crossed his arms before he approached the costumed Wane, "Gee... Dane, you're really taking this well."
'Dane' waves off "Oh its just a minor setback, I have enough in the bank to pay it off..."
Carlton tilted his head, "Your bank account?"
"Of course, the fast food business pays well... I'm sure I can just pay it all off...
Carlton then hatched an idea, "Actually, you're business is doing horrible, that's why you have the lawsuit in the first place, and there's more legal fees here." Carlton pulled out a bunch of letters with nothing on them, but he was hoping Wane would fall for it.
Wane then froze, "You mean..." he took the letters, "I'm gonna lose everything!?"
The shot now displayed an overhead shot of the island, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~"
"I heard screaming!" King hopped into frame, "Is the evil machine back? I'll save you!"
King was completely ignored as 'Dane' noticed 'Berry' leaning over to pick up a penny he found on the ground.
"Oh, look kids, a penny." 'Berry' bent down and tried to pick it up, only for Wane to roughly grab his wrist.
"D-Dane... you're hurting me!" Kodi cried from the pain.
"Unhand the penny or the arm comes off!" Wane threatened.
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Wane held his ears after an airhorn blew in his ear. Carlton pulled him away from the hurting nerd, "Wane, that spree of penny-pinching has earned you a one-way OUT of this challenge!"
"Whaaat? No!" Wane shook his head, "Who's Wane? I'm generous Dane Britsky!" Wane nervously chuckled.
'Chad' laughed, "More like generous Dane... uh.. I can't think of a good insult so I'll just call you nerd!"
"You okay Kodi?" Carlton asked the kid.
Kodi winced as he grabbed his wrist, "I, Berry, am fine"
"Dammit!" Carlton snapped his fingers, "I thought I had you!" Carlton was about to continue the challenge when suddenly a loud ding sound effect played.
DING
Carlton then began to clap, "Okay that's the end of the challenge. Let me think... there's..." Carlton quickly counted the members of each team, "Melissa, Timothy, Kodi, Elizabeth, and Brandon make five for the Frogs, while the Chickens have King, Sasha, and Van, dunno where Beatrice and Paige went off to but considering they just up and left I'm not counting them." Carlton announced the Frog's victory in the first part of the challenge, "The frogs are up one to nothing, you guys take five while I help Buck set up the next challenge. Oh, and it'll be here, so don't worry about going anywhere."
"Oh, thank goodness I can stop!" Brandon got up and stretched his arms out, "That was so embarrassing."
King seemed to agree with that statement, as the moment he had the chance he reverted back to his normal egotistical and silent self.
Confessional: Carlton
Carlton groaned, "I'm a little annoyed that I couldn't get more of them to crack from acting! This was so disappointing!"
"Not for me, two pieces of trash now owe me twenty-five dollars total." Carlton heard King's voice suddenly come from outside the confessional, something that caused the theatre kid to gulp in fear.
Confessional Over
"Why howdy there islanders, it's a nice day out wouldn't you agree?" Buck asked the islanders after a few minutes of them waiting had passed by, "I believe it's pretty self-explanatory for what my challenge is gonna be, but for those who want to know, your challenge is to take a broken item," Buck showed off a broken electric whisk and a broken jackhammer as examples, "And turn them into better items using nothing but wits, and some extra scrap from the last challenge! You'll have thirty minutes to pick an item out of the junk pile, as well as create something new out of it. Anyone have any questions?" Buck waited for questions but got none in response, "Then on my mark... get set... and go!"
The Frogs rushed out to the pile and started searching through all the items to see what they could use. Beatrice pulled out a car engine from the pile and stopped for a moment, "Hmm..." Beatrice looked over at Brandon and signaled for him to come over, "I know we're in a challenge right now Brandon, but we might be able to find some more items for that ATV you were working on, like decorative stuff!" Beatrice suggested.
Brandon chuckled, "Well, maybe later but we're a little bit preoccupied at the moment to go and fool around with building the ATV, maybe after the challenge, hey wait these mirrors would look great on it!" Brandon picked up a neon red mirror and held it up in the air, "Oh we gotta attach this ASAP!" Brandon looked around at the pile, "Oh and this could be a cool branding!" Brandon grabbed a logo of some sports team out of the pile, "Quick Beatrice, let's get this on the car quickly!" Brandon whispered to Beatrice to avoid attention.
"What about the challenge?" Beatrice whispered back, also not wanting to get any attention, "Are you sure it's a good idea to just go?"
Brandon smiled, "I'm sure it'll be fine, besides, my mind will kill me if I sit here ignoring the best design possible for my own custom vehicle! Let's go, it'll be a quick adventure, they won't even notice we're gone!"
"Well, if you say so." Beatrice shrugged as she helped Brandon lift up a few parts.
Sasha scanned the pile as King pulled random objects out from it, "I believe... if we take that air conditioner," Sasha pointed out an AC laying in the pile, "We can actually reverse engineer it into working as a portable heater. Very pointless, I know, but the idea of it could be humourous enough to impress Buck."
"Yeah... good idea." Paige lightly chuckled before avoiding eye contact with Sasha, something that slightly confused the temptress.
King picked up the air conditioner before letting out a small groan of pain from his wounds being strained. King dropped the air conditioner on the ground before clenching his damaged hip, "Forgot about that handicap." King mumbled to himself as Wane laughed at his pain.
"Let me show you how it's done!" Wane rolled his eyes before effortlessly picking the AC up and bringing it over to the rest of the Chickens. "Alright, let's make this pointless machine." Wane rolled his eyes as Sasha groaned in annoyance at Wane being his usual obnoxious self.
King simply glared back at Wane before stepping away from his team as to not have to look at them.
Confessional: Sasha
"Klaas, if you're watching this, I owe you an apology for choosing to keep Wane over you," Sasha crossed her arms, "That was a mistake."
Confessional Over
"Ok, so do you know how to do this or..." Van scratched her head in confusion as she looked at the AC that was on the ground.
Sasha nodded, "Yes, we just have to insert a few things into the air conditioner, and then we have to make sure it can handle the heat without overheating, but since we'll only be doing this once, all we should try doing is putting something extremely hot in the machine and then turning it on to push out the hot air that the object would be creating."
Paige laughed before looking down at the AC, "Haha... I have no idea how to do that."
Sasha simply face-palmed at her teammate's comments as the camera cut back to the Frogs.
"None of these parts really speak out, to be entirely honest." Timothy shook his head and dusted himself off, "I don't see any actual parts in here, and all the things in here are just household objects but broken, not sure how we're supposed to make something out of them."
Kodi dug through the pile, "Aw come on, there's gotta be something in here, and besides, we've got Brandon on our team! We can't lose if he's here!"
Flora smiled and nodded in agreement, "That's correct, Brandon's mechanical knowledge is definitely going to help us win this challenge today. Right Brandon?" Flora asked, but got no response back. The pacifist turned around from the pile and looked around, "Uh... Brandon?"
Elizabeth poked her head up, "What's wrong?" The captain asked, not noticing Brandon's absence yet.
"I think Brandon just went to the bathroom or something." Flora shook it off, "'Cause he's not here yet."
"Wait what?" Melissa stopped looking through the junk and noticed not only was Brandon missing but so was Beatrice, "Where did those two go? I feel like they would've said they were going to the bathroom if that were the case."
"Let's not worry about them for now." Elizabeth stretched her arms out before she went back to digging, "They probably did say so and we just didn't notice it, I'm sure it's fine."
The camera cut over to the garage where Brandon's nearly-complete ATV lay, with Brandon adding some decals to it for a little bit of pizzazz. Brandon carefully applied some stickers to his vehicle as Beatrice helped keep them in position as he pressed them against the ATV.
"Just a little bit longer..." Brandon mumbled as he finished applying the sticker to the side of the ATV, Brandon backed up to look at his handiwork, only to notice that the sticker was slightly off-center. Brandon let out an annoyed sigh before peeling the sticker off and throwing it in the trash, "Do we have any other stickers?" Brandon asked Beatrice.
Beatrice got up and looked at a pile that was inside a drawer, "Here you go." Beatrice handed the sticker to Brandon and watched as he pressed it up on the side of his ATV, "Hey... don't you think maybe we should go back to the challenge now?" Beatrice asked Brandon as he looked over at her.
Brandon shrugged it off, "I'm sure they'll do fine without us, besides, this is a very pressing matter." Brandon chuckled at his own joke, only for him to notice he put the sticker on the wrong spot of the ATV, "Oh come on!" Brandon tore off the sticker and threw it into the trash, "Alright, here we go again."
Beatrice pulled another sticker out of the drawer and handed it to Brandon as she looked around the room, "Anything else you want to add to this? There's a lot stuff in here we still haven't tried out yet."
"Nah, I think this more simplistic look with stickers will be just perfect." Brandon stepped back and looked at his new sticker, with it being perfectly placed on the ATV, "Alright time to do the other side..."
"Well, I found this coffee machine, maybe we can use this?" Flora held up a brewer and showed it to her other teammates.
"Any suggestions for what it should do?" Elizabeth asked the other teammates.
Melissa lightly chucked, "Maybe we should put a camera in it to make it a special peeping brewer for Timothy."
Timothy rolled his eyes at the comment, "Hey Melissa, there's lithium in cameras, what do you think will happen when that touches the water inside the brewer?"
"Relax, it was a small joke." Melissa groaned at Timothy, but before either of them could add anything to the conversation Elizabeth butted in.
"Stop it." Elizabeth glared at the two, with Timothy yelping and looking back in the pile in response, while Melissa just sighed and apologized.
Kodi lightly laughed, "Maybe we could make another dragon like the one in the hula challenge! That was pretty fun!" Kodi suggested.
Flora shook her head, "Brandon made that, and he's still not here, unfortunately."
"Yeah... I'm starting to wonder, where are those two? Why didn't they say anything?" Elizabeth looked all around but didn't see Brandon or Beatrice anywhere.
"Looks like we're gonna have to come up with something on our own." Melissa shrugged as she went back to digging through the pile.
Elizabeth shrugged, "I guess so. Flora can you stay on the lookout for those two?"
Flora nodded in response as the Frogs went straight to work.
"Ok, so here's the idea, we place some stones that have been out in the sun all day inside our heating bucket, and hopefully the heat from them will rise and we can use that for our reverse air conditioner," Sasha told the other Chickens, except for Wane, who was off doing something, "I'll try setting up a sort of shutter system to release the hint, and hopefully, the novelty of it will get Buck's approval."
"Sounds simple..." Paige again avoided eye contact with Sasha.
Van stretched her arms out, "Well I suppose me and Paige should go collect some then."
"Yeah, King and I can stay here and look for other ideas I suppose-" Sasha was cut off by the sound of Wane taking the cover off of the AC and pouring something into the 'heat bucket'. "What was that?" Sasha looked over at Wane, who shrugged as he tossed the bucket away, "What was that."
"A bucket, dumbass." Wane sneered as he put the cover back on the AC.
Van let out a small groan, "Ok, what was in the bucket?"
Wane grew a grin on his face, "Some molten rocks that I picked up near the active volcano, you said we needed to heat it up and I did just that." Wane then revealed he was wearing a heavy pair of gloves to protect his hands.
Sasha grabbed the bridge of her nose and let out a huge groan like Wane was the biggest idiot in the world, "Wane... we need to get a way for the heat to properly go out first, the rocks were supposed to be the last part of the plan. But fine, we can just wire it now."
Confessional: Sasha
"It's a good thing this'll most likely fail, Wane just made himself look like the cause of it." Sasha grinned as she crossed her arms, before raising an eyebrow at the camera, "Don't look at me like I'm the bad guy for sabotaging my team, people have done way worse on this show!"
Confessional Over
"Time's almost up... where did those two go?" Flora wondered as she watched a timer that was set up above the two teams. The timer was almost up, so Brandon and Beatrice being gone and the Frog's lack of progress was getting worrying, "I'm getting worried about them."
Kodi got out of the pile of materials and scratched his head, "They're still not back? That seems odd, I never took Brandon as someone to just up and leave us randomly, Beatrice either."
Elizabeth sighed, "I suppose we'll have to make do with whatever we've grabbed here," The scarecrow looked over at the rest of her teammates, "Alright everyone, what do we-" Elizabeth was cut off by the sound of a bell ringing and Buck stepping up to the stage.
"Alrighty then Islanders, time's up, and y'all will have to show me what you've come up with, I'll start with the Frogs since they won the last challenge!" Buck announced to the contestants.
"...Fuck." Timothy cursed as he looked at the rest of the Frogs, "Maybe... Brandon will come in with an ex-machina?"
Elizabeth sighed as she got up, "As leader, I'll be the one to explain our failure, maybe Buck will understand that we're down two members and will let us get an extra few minutes."
"Those two better explain themselves when they get back." Melissa crossed her arms and mumbled.
The camera cut over to Brandon and Beatrice, with Beatrice looking at the clock in worry. Brandon, on the other hand, was humming to himself as he made sure everything on his ATV was just right.
"Uhh... Brandon." Beatrice tapped the mechanic on the arm, "It's twelve thirty."
Brandon looked up from under the vehicle, "Yeah, what about that?"
"The challenge started at twelve, and we only had thirty minutes," Beatrice explained.
Brandon gave a blank stare to Beatrice before jumping, "Oh Shhhhiitake mushrooms! We gotta go!" Brandon rushed out of the garage with Beatrice in full pursuit.
"Alright Frogs." Buck approached the group, "What do you have in store for me?" Buck asked the Frogs as they all looked away in shame.
Elizabeth sighed and held out both of her hands, "I'm sorry Buck, but we were unable to complete the challenge, two of our teammates went missing and one of them was our best mechanic, so we paled without him."
Buck winced, "Well, I am sorry to hear that, but since you have nothing to present that's an automatic zero out of ten. I'm sorry, but you were given thirty minutes, and you couldn't fulfill the requirements." Buck told the Frogs, with Melissa gripping her arm in annoyance. Buck then turned over to the Chickens to see the five all standing around their air conditioner. "So you fixed an AC, I see?" Buck asked, "Interesting."
"Not quite Buck," Sasha grinned, "We've managed to completely rewire a regular old air conditioner into a heater, as a fun little gesture." Sasha lightly chuckled as she held up a remote for the heater, "It's actually just a shutter that allows hot air to escape, but he won't notice." Sasha pressed the button on the remote, only for nothing to happen. Sasha raised an eyebrow as she kept pressing the button.
"What seems to be the problem?" Buck asked as he waited for something to happen with the machine.
Sasha kept pressing the button repeatedly before turning to Van, "Uhm, Vanessa, could you take off the back of the heater, something must've gotten stuck in there."
"Sure." Van went over to the back grate of the invention and pulled it off, only to jump back as a bunch of molten rocks fell out of the back of it, "What the?! What just happened?!" Van yelled in surprise at the sight of the destroyed air conditioner.
King looked over at the rocks on the ground before turning to Wane, "Looks like someone here is much more idiotic than we expected."
"Wane your rocks destroyed the machine!" Sasha lied. In reality, Sasha made sure the wires and metal basket would melt from the heat of the rocks.
"If there's nothing here that works, that gives you a zero out of ten as well." Buck sighed before shaking his head, "I'm a little disappointed in yah, I was hoping for a much better performance from both of yous, not two failed attempts. Oh well, please report to your mansion and shack respectively, you'll find the vr headsets from the medieval challenge. Put them on to find yourself in Mitch's challenge area."
"It's very unfortunate that we lost, but at least we're only tied right now, that's better than losing." Flora lightly smiled in an attempt to keep the mood up, right as Beatrice and Brandon ran back to the group.
"I'm so sorry I took so long, I got dist-" Brandon tried to explain himself but was cut off by Melissa.
Melissa stepped forward, "Where were you and what took you so long? We could've won this challenge easily if you just stuck with us." Melissa snapped at the two.
Beatrice and Brandon exchanged guilty looks as Brandon was about to explain what he did. Beatrice stepped forward before Brandon could say anything, "It's my fault, I suggested looking in the repair shop for better parts and I fell and got stuck in a hole in the ground on our way back."
"It took you thirty minutes to get out?" Timothy raised an eyebrow at the claim.
Melissa scoffed, "Yeah, what actually happene-"
Elizabeth grabbed Melissa's arm, "Melissa! That's enough, we lost, and there's no use dwelling on it. Let's just accept it and move on."
Melissa pulled her arm away and huffed, "Fine." Melissa mumbled before heading off to the shack, with Beatrice and Brandon still looking guilty.
Confessional: Brandon
"Shit. I really messed that up," Brandon sighed, "I normally don't let my perfectionism get the best of me... I need to make sure it never happens again."
Confessional Over
The interns who already had their challenges were now at the bonfire ceremony location, with a bunch of monitors showing off the VR world sitting next the podium. The moon started to rise as Mitch stood at the podium. "Alright people at home, we now head onto my challenge. You may be wondering where the teams are, well you see. For this, we separated the teams into five different mini-games inside the VR world, all of them based on some of my favorite horror games. Would've loved to have more but we only have five Chickens to work with."
The camera cut to Melissa, who was stationed at the edge of a forest. Sitting in front of her was a notepad with her instructions
Collect 8 pages
We then cut to Timothy sitting in an office of a nearby pizzeria, where his instructions read...
Survive until 6 PM
Elizabeth could be seen at the front of a school where she saw in the door...
Collect 7 notebooks and report back to the start
Flora woke up in an old house where she saw on a lamp a note saying...
Get out!
And finally, Brandon wearing a yellow grab pack with a blue and red hand attachments on each side. Standing on a platform surrounded by buttons.
Complete the patterns, and don't get crashed
The remaining frogs, Kodi and Beatrice sat in spectator mode as Mitch spoke to the audience with his hand hovering over a button, "When I press this button, the games will begin. In three... two..."
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
The horns rang through as Melissa ran like hell into the forest in search of the pages, while behind her we hear a haunting giggle...
Confessional: Mitch, Buck, and Carlton
"I've played these games like hundreds of times, every time a jump scare happened on my screen I freaked. Now let's see how our little froggies fair, they have ten minutes to complete each of their assigned challenges. If the majority of them win their games, then they'll win. If not, then the chickens get their first point." Mitch gave a confident smirk while he and the other interns were cramped into the confessional.
"I must say I was apprehensive of putting the kids into these challenges, but it's kind of growing on me." Buck shrugged, "Besides, we did a lot of testing to ensure each of our challenges are danger-proof.
"Wouldn't have to danger-proof them if you just made them something anyone can do at any time!" Carlton teased.

Confessional: Billy
Billy crossed his arms with an amused look, "They haven't seen anything yet, when they get to my challenge, they won't know what hit them..."

Melissa kept running deeper and deeper into the forest, searching for any clues as to where a page might be. "Okay Melissa, you're just looking for pages. It shouldn't be too hard, I just have to pace myself. I got plenty of time, just stay focused." Melissa hurdled over some fallen trees before clearing a river.
The athlete then came across one of the trees where she found one of the pages, "Got one." Melissa took the page and read it out loud, "Help me. Well... that's one down."
"And seven more to go." whispers someone wearing a Slenderman costume as they rose up behind Melissa.
Melissa jumped in surprise as she bolted off, "GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SLENDERMAN!"
"Haha!" The Slenderman-dressed person laughed before lifting up their mask to reveal... Paige, "Oh this is gonna be so much fun, Melissa will be a fine substitute for Wyatt." Paige lowers her mask, before climbing up a tree and following Melissa through the trees.
Meanwhile, Timothy is shown in the office looking over the cameras. "Alright Tim, this game should be a cakewalk. Just have to make it through the twenty minutes without any attacks from the robot animals, you've been watching cameras since birth. This will be so easy." Timothy chuckled, "Melissa won't be able to get me now!"
He then moved to view the many areas the cameras watched, "Okay, let's see we have all three on stage right where they should be. Nothing in the kitchen, nothing in the halls. Back to the stage and nothing, nothing in the party area. Foxy's cove... now called Roxy's den? I only heard of Five Nights from some of the guys at my school, so I haven't played much of the game. I think these are the robots from the latest version people talk about... uh... Security Breach, I think? Must be weak security if there was a breach, I'll be honest my interest was piqued after they said the pizza place had secrets. But I never got around to it." Timothy mumbled to keep himself entertained.
"Anyway, I should get back to- wait... where'd the chicken go? Chile, I think her name was, where did she go?" Timothy asked as he saw the stage feed, and Glamrock Chica was missing. "Oh dear, and why is the alligator looking at me now?" Timothy then checked the halls that connect to his office, "Okay she's not here or there, so I'm okay for now."
He then noticed a note on his desk that read,
'Warning, cameras, lights and doors run on limited power. So, use sparingly'
"Seriously?! What kind of establishment has that stuff like that? No wonder they constantly have breaches." Timothy sighed in annoyance and shook his head, "Amateurs."
On a different floor, we could see Wane cackling as he moves Glamrock Chica through the kitchen. "Hehehe." Wane then saw that Timothy moved to a different camera. In response to this, Wane started to move Montogomery Gator.
Confessional: Mitch
"You see, in this game, Wane will be controlling the animatronics to try and get them to Timothy. The catch is, Wane can only move one animatronic at a time and only when said robotic animal is not on camera. If Timothy can keep the animatronics out of the office for the entire duration of the challenge, he'll be victorious. Thank Buck for recreating the robots for this game, and for the software that thankfully doesn't have a free-roaming mode, can't let evil robots roam around even if it's just VR!" Mitch shuddered at the thought of loose animatronics

Elizabeth walked into the school and looked around the commons. She then walked into the first classroom she found, finding Sasha wearing a green blazer and a dark blue skirt "Hey Sasha!" Elizabeth greeted before grabbing a notebook.
"Hello Elizabeth, welcome to my schoolhouse." Sasha spoke in an advisor's tone, "Answer my math questions to move on, try not to get any wrong."
Elizabeth chuckled at the basic-sounding challenge, "Well, okay. Hit me."
Sasha smirked before pulling down a sheet, "Okay first question, what is... 8 + 5?"
"Thirteen," Elizabeth replied.
"Excellent." Sasha then pulls down the next question. "What is... 2 + 2?"
"Pfffft, that's the easiest one ever. Four." Elizabeth chuckled, "This isn't so hard."
Sasha pulled down the next question, "Alright then, last question for now."
"Okay then... uh... what is?" Elizabeth points to the question, which was just a line of numbers mixed together, crossed off, and jumbled together.
"Don't look at me, I didn't write that." Sasha shrugged, "Just give it a guess."
"Okay... um..." Elizabeth hummed in thought as she tried to figure out what could the question be. "I'm just gonna try... forty-two?"
Sasha sighed, before shaking her head. "Nope, but you should probably start running now."
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Um, why?" Elizabeth asked, only for Sasha to start holding up a ruler before slowly rolling towards Elizabeth on a segway. The scarecrow backed out of the classroom, "I'm just gonna get back to looking for those notebooks." Elizabeth then ran down the hall with Sasha in slow pursuit.
We then see Flora sitting in a bedroom, the pacifist got up and looked around. Flora then walked out of the room and looked over the railing to see a doorway blocked off by wood and had several locks, "That must be the way out, looks like I'll have to pry those boards off. Now where to look..." Flora went down the stairs, with the sound of a door opening coming from behind her, though she didn't notice it.
Flora then counted the number of locks, "... two, three, four locks. A blue one, red one, orange one, and a purple one." she went into the kitchen, and checked the cabinets before finding a toy doctor's needle. She read a note, "One dose keeps Granny down for ten seconds. Well that's kind of rude... you shouldn't just inject people without permission-"
"Well look who's out of bed, you need to rest dearie."
Flora shook as she turned to the sound of the eerily comforting voice, and found Van dressed like an elderly zombie holding a toy bat. Flora yelped before booking it to a different room. Van laughed to herself "Man I am slaying this evil grandma act. I'm gonna get you Flori, HAHAHAHA"
Flora then ran into the basement, which was a very bad call. Flora looked for anything to save herself with from Granny, or any type of key. She looked in multiple boxes before pulling out a hammer, "This might help with the door boards." she pocketed the hammer before hearing Van coming down the stairs, which caused her to quickly hide in one of the boxes and close the lid before Van could arrive on the scene.
Van looked around, dragging her bat across any surface before leaving. Checking any hiding spots before looking at the box Flora went in and opened it up, "Dang." Van mumbled before going back up the stairs.
Flora is then shown having moved from that box to behind a grandfather clock, "Phew."
We finally come down to Brandon, who readied his grab pack as the first sequences started. The four buttons up front red, blue, green, and yellow.
Red.
He pressed the red button.
Red. Blue.
Again, Brandon pressed the right buttons.
Red. Blue. Green.
"Ok, simple enough." Brandon did the pattern. Brandon assumed this game would be this easy, only for him to immediately be proven wrong.
Red. Blue. Green. Purple.
"Red, blue, green, p- wait purple!" Brandon looked over the buttons and didn't see a purple. "Purple how can I... uh maybe." he used both hands to press blue and red, which caused the screen to go red with a huge thumbs down. "Wha?" Brandon rubbed his head as a message appeared on the screen.
Each mistake makes Kingso descend faster.
"Kingso?" Brandon looked up and saw King slowly being lowered down a tube in the ceiling while wearing clown makeup with cymbal-shaped pillows in his hands. "Oh my god." Brandon snickered at his ridiculous outfit.
King cracked his neck, "Trash won't be laughing when perfection gets you."
"Oh right." Brandon looks back to the button, "I'll have to try again, red, blue, green." he pressed the buttons, "Okay the fourth one is purple, how can I press a button that isn't-" he ends up turning around and seeing... "Oh... there it is..." he pressed the newly found button with his blue hand. The screen turned green with a check mark as King was raised back up.
Confessional: Mitch
"King's got it pretty easy, he just has to clap his pillows on Brandon, pretty simple. Brandon has to keep getting every pattern right to keep King raised in the air. This mini-game drove me mad when I played Poppy's Playtime, Mommy Long Legs was pretty scary. But at least Brandon just has to keep King at bay while playing the game until there's no more puzzles left."

Back to Melissa, she is seen running through the woods, every time she saw Slender-Paige pop she booked it in a different direction, whether Melissa was by a tree, under a bridge, behind a bush, or standing in a river, Paige was there. Melissa kept running until she stopped at a little shed to catch her breath "Think I... lost her... maybe...", where on the door she found the second page. Which read 'LEAVE ME ALONE!'
"Two done... but I'm so tired." Melissa panted before she entered the shed to take a breather.
Melissa looked at a clock that was going down from thirty seconds, above it is a sign saying 'Temporary safe zone'. "Thank god... these games are somehow physically draining..." Melissa grabbed a water bottle that was in the shed and drank it; she takes some deep breaths before preparing to run out the door. In 3. 2. 1.
Once she heard a loud siren she booked it, unaware that the shed she rested in sent an alert to Paige to let her know where she was currently at. Paige checked out the safe zone and noticed some muddy footsteps that were running away from the door, "Nice trail Melissa..."
Melissa began to slow down as she came up to a rundown house in the woods before finding yet another page, 'CAN'T RUN.'
Melissa then went back on the run as Paige soon appeared behind the door that Melissa was out, taking a whiff of the air, "She's been here..."
The truth seeker kept alternating between camera feeds, where a few of the animatronics have since then changed positions. With Glamrock Chica now in the dining area, Montegomery Gator in storage, and Glamrock Freddy coming down the left hallway to Timothy's office!
"GAH!" Timothy panicked as he closed the left door right as Freddy runs into it, making Wane chuckle as he made Freddy restart.
The robot bear walked back as Timothy cautiously opened the door back up, he then looked to the right and turned on the hall light to see Roxanne in the hallway. He quickly closes that door to keep Roxanne out, "Hehehe, yes. Keep closing those doors, waste all your energy." Wane laughed to himself as he made Chica move.
Timothy squeezed a nearby plushie like a stress ball, "Come on Timothy, you gotta keep focus. All these constant door closings are draining my power." he saw his power was at 65%, "Just gotta keep as many eyes on these freaks as long as I can, good thing they can't move when my lights are on... But I can't keep relying on them forever." Timothy then got an alert on his tablet, telling him to... rewind a music box? "Uh... ok?" he did so causing the music box played a soft melody.
Back with Elizabeth she entered the cafeteria and found her third notebook, she found a pad and answered the math questions. Two easy ones and one fizzled out one, after locking in her answers she booked it out the other door right as Sasha entered "You can run but you can't hide." Sasha let out a small laugh before rounding a corner and passing Elizabeth playing scarecrow, she rolled back and examined it. "Hmmmmmmmmm." Sasha knew it was obviously Elizabeth, but she decided to humor her this time.
Elizabeth looked up and stretched her legs out, "Phew." Elizabeth began running the opposite way, where she headed up the stairs to the second floor and ran into a little girl in a red sweater and jeans standing in the hallway.
The girl held out a jump rope, "Let's play."
"Uh, not right now I'm kind of-" Elizabeth tried to explain but was interrupted.
"Let's play, complete five consecutive jumps to move forward."
Elizabeth groaned, "Seriously I don't-"
"Play with me or your nose is mine!" The girl screeched.
"My... my nose?" Elizabeth then grabbed a jump rope in confusion. After making the five jumps she continued running, finding a 4th notebook before going back on the move.
With Flora, she managed to get the boards off the door, but she still had two locks which she had to find keys for. "Okay, I checked the basement, the kitchen, the laundry room, where-" Flora was then grabbed by Van.
"Come on Flora, you've been playing so hard. You need to rest." Van said, deciding not to use her Granny voice as she dragged Flora back to her room.
"Uh... ok..." Flora nodded as Van laid her back on the bed. When she left Van placed a few fake bear traps on the outside, Flora sat there as time passed by. She looked outside her door to see the traps, and carefully tried to tip-toe through them. "Careful, careful..."
Thankfully she made it through them before seeing a stairway to the attic, "Haven't looked there yet, maybe." she quickly pulled the rope down to open the door and started to climb right as Van saw this.
"Mm-mm girl, you never go into the attic." Van shook her head as she followed after. She climbed into the dark attic which turned into cat-and-mouse game where Flora would sneak around the cluttered-up attic as Van scanned for her prey. Flora meanwhile managed to find a few vases and quickly looked inside them, finding a key to the orange lock before making her way to the exit.
Flora slid down the ladder to the attic before closing it up, "Sorry Van." Flora apologized before going down the stairs, only to get her foot caught in a fake bear trap. Which didn't puncture her ankle but kept her locked, Flora desperately tried to open it up as Van pushed the attic door down. Flora thankfully got free before sliding down the stair and opening up the lock, leaving only the purple lock. "Only one more left, where is the last key?" Flora asked before ducking a swing of Van's bat and booking it back to the basement.
"Green, blue, purple, red, purple, okay where is the orange button?" Brandon looked around until he spotted an orange button in the lower corner of the room and hit it with his grab pack.
Since Brandon finished his latest pattern King raised back up, causing the Prince to fold his arm, the one that wasn't holding his crutch, over his chest as he waited for Brandon to exhaust himself after speed-running these patterns.

Melissa ran down a baron road, coming across a bridge where she found another page. "One page left, where's the last page?" she exclaims.
"I'm right here!" Paige popped her head from under the bridge.
Melissa jumped in surprise before running away, "GYAH!"
"GET IT! BECAUSE MY NAME IS PAIGE!" Paige yelled at Melissa before laughing to herself, she then deadpanned as she noticed how many notes were left, "But seriously perhaps it's time I stop playing around." She looked around for Melissa, but the athlete managed to get away by the skin of her teeth.
Elizabeth as well was frantically looking for the last notebook, she ran into the auditorium with Sasha in hot pursuit. The scarecrow leapt onto the stage, the scarecrow then noticed a notebook taped to a prop light post. She took it and answered the math question on the tablet, "GOT IT! I GOT ALL SEVEN NOTEBOOKS!" Elizabeth cheered.
"Yeah, but you still got to escape." Sasha reminded her.
"Oh right." Elizabeth tried to go to the right stage steps, but Sasha met her there. The scarecrow then ran left, as does the temptress. The two girls jockeyed for position, leading to Elizabeth looking at the right side of the stage. As Sasha moved on her segway, it was revealed to be a fake out from Elizabeth as the scarecrow leaped right off the stage and legged it to the door.
Sasha saw this, and smirked, "Well played." Sasha then zoomed on her segway, now at full speed.
Elizabeth raced to the exit, zooming through the halls, passing by a guy playing 'The Bully' by tossing him a quarter. The scarecrow then leaped over a self-operating broom that said "IT'S SWEEPING TIME!"
Meanwhile, Timothy was freaking out as he kept searching through the cameras with both doors closed and lights on, "OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD! WHERE ARE THEY!? WHERE'S FREDDY?! WHERE'S CHICA?! WHERE'S ROXY! WHERE'S THE GATOR? DID I WIND THE MUSIC BOX?" Timothy kept screaming before suddenly...
.
.
... all the lights went out as the doors opened, the cameras fizzled out. "Oh no... I'm out of power." Timothy realized his situation, "I'm totally defenseless." Timothy grabbed a flashlight and roamed it over the office, he shook in fear as he grabbed his tablet fearfully. "Hello... anybody?"
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Timothy screamed as he was jump scared by Glamrock Freddy. This caused the light on the monitor watching Timothy to turn red, meaning he failed his challenge. Wane saw Timothy passing out at the foot of the animatronic and laughed.
Mitch turned off the Timothy monitor "And we have the first failure for the frogs." Mitch announced for the audience before looking to the Brandon monitor, "And it seems like we're gonna get the second."
As he said this, Brandon was desperately trying to keep up with the pattern as more colors and symbols kept popping on the screen, "red, green, pink, dollar sign, pi, yellow, orange, purple" Brandon frantically looked for the buttons as the pattern kept adding more colors and symbols. By now King was lowered out of the tube and was nearing closer and closer to Brandon, who was trying to remember what button came after X.
"You never stood a chance," King shook his head as he lowered down enough to grab Brandon, this caused an alarm to sound to signal his defeat. After Brandon was grabbed his monitor also went red.
Elizabeth rounded a corner and saw the exit was a straightforward shot, so she sped down the hall. "I'm gonna get you, Liz!" Sasha exclaimed as she inched closer to Elizabeth. Melissa meanwhile was running back through the woods as Paige ran after Melissa, those two kept racing to their finish as Flora desperately looked for her last key.
"Fifteen seconds left for the three to complete their challenges..." Mitch held his hands together as the three girls raced against time.
Melissa and Elizabeth kept running, with the former seeing the last page hanging from a street lamp. Both girls picked up speed as their opponents sped up, with Paige getting closer and closer to Melissa. Sasha was also getting closer to the scarecrow. Flora meanwhile kept searching everywhere for the key.
Melissa found a small ramp near the post and ran towards it...
5.
Melissa ran up the ramp, Elizabeth evades the jump rope girl, and Flora looked through the sugar bowl.
4.
Melissa leaps off the ramp, Elizabeth ducks the bully, and Flora avoids another bat swing.
3.
Melissa reaches for the page as she flies through the air, Elizabeth reaches the door, and Flora runs back up the stairs, "I checked every room three times!"
2.
Melissa is fingertips away as the arrow flies right at her, Elizabeth opens the door, and Flora then goes back into the bedroom she started in, "Except in here."
1...

.
Melissa grabbed the page and rolled on the street as she dodges the arrow "GOT IT!"
Elizabeth exited out the door and ran out, "I'm out!"
Flora looked underneath the mattress.
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Mitch sipped from a smoothie, "Out of time." Mitch turned the light on Flora's monitor red, "And that makes three, that's enough." Mitch then spoke into his microphone for all the teams to hear. "Attention players, due to the frogs failing three of the five games. The chickens have earned their first point for tonight's challenge, everyone report to the Beach in thirty minutes."
The camera cut over to the beach, where all the contestants were split up into different locations in pairs, for starters, Wane and Beatrice were at the same power cellphone tower King was at not too long ago, Van and Kodi were at the beginning of the beach where a bunch of paintball turrets was set up, Sasha and Flora were at a further end at the beach with a bunch of large rocks scattered in front of them, Paige and Timothy were both standing behind a few rock climbing walls, and finally, Melissa and King were waiting at the very end of the beach, where a rope swinging set was set up. Obviously, the odd two Frogs, Brandon and Elizabeth, were sitting on a bench to watch the rest of the contestants.
A radio that was set up near each of the pairs turned on to reveal Billy's voice, "Welcome to your final challenge, this will be a 'simple' gauntlet of races for every team member to power through. Think of it as a much harder relay race. We will start with Beatrice and Wane, who will swim back to the beach where Van and Kodi will pick up the metaphorical baton. If Beatrice or Wane needs a break during their swims we have multiple resting points set up, as well as Carlton and Buck following you on jet skis just to be sure nothing bad happens during the race." Billy explained, "With that out of the way... on your mark..."
Beatrice cracked her neck as she prepared to dive into the water, she was also wearing her mermaid costume for this challenge.
"Get set..."
Wane smirked as he got into a diving pose, "This'll be way too easy."
"Go!" Billy announced the start of the race, with Beatrice doing a flawless Dive into the water while Wane also dived.
Wane paddled heavily as he smirked, "There's no way that little girl's gonna be able to beat me." Wane kept paddling forward as he passed a resting point. The conman kept up his paddling before reaching another resting point, which lead to him leaning against it to take a breath, "Record timing too, I wonder how far away she is?" Wane turned around to see where Beatrice was, only to see she was nowhere in sight. "The hell?" Wane asked himself as he looked around, "Where did she go-" Wane looked back to see Beatrice was far ahead of him, and was moving much faster than he ever was, "What the shit!?" Wane pushed himself off of the resting point to catch up with Beatrice, "I didn't expect that!"
Beatrice looked back and smirked at Wane for a moment, "I'm not as helpless as he thinks." Beatrice thought to herself as she paddled quickly, making sure to move her head with each paddle. It was clear that she held a huge advantage against Wane in this regard, she had practiced swimming much more, so while Wane was starting to tire himself out to the point where he was making frequent trips to the resting points, Beatrice was going strong and steady while keeping a sizable lead against Wane.
"You... get back here..." Wane panted as he held onto the resting point, "Jesus christ..." Wane leaned against the point and kept up his breaths, "She's... very... fast..."
Beatrice kept her steady pace and managed to get herself on the beach with a very comfortable lead, starting the race with the ball in the Frog's court. Beatrice got up and shook some water off of her before making it to Kodi, "Go! We've got a lead!"
"Alright!" Kodi smiled and headed forward, before stopping dead in his tracks as a paintball flew past his face and flew off, "Oh boy... maybe if I..." Kodi stepped forward, only to be shot by a paintball, one that knocked him back to where Van was standing.
"You alright little guy?" Van asked as she looked down at Kodi, who gave a weak thumbs-up in response.
Billy's voice came in on the radio as Kodi managed to get up from his paintball wound, "Here we have the paintball turrets, a very simple task, all you have to do is run through them, but be careful if you get shot, these things can pack a real punch!"
Kodi got up and ran forward, "Ok I think I can-" Kodi was shot in the side by a paintball, causing him to fall to the ground clutching his ribs, "Why..."
"This is just sad..." Van shook her head as she looked out into the ocean, "Where's Wane at already, I can't keep watching this."
Wane panted heavily as he headed towards the island, "Damn that mermaid..." Wane paddled as he made it to the beach, "You're up Van... you'd better take our lead back I swear to god..."
Van laughed, "Right... I don't think it'll be the one to blame if we lose," Van joked, "Besides, we're still even." Van gestured over at Kodi, who was trying to use a shield to block the paintballs, only for the paintballs to throw him to the ground and knock his shield away.
Wane rolled his eyes before grumbling and walking away from Van, leaving the influencer to go all on her own. Van ran forward and watched the paintballs shoot before sliding underneath the turret's line of fire, managing to pretty effortlessly dodge the shots.
Kodi stuttered as he watched the sight, "That isn't fair..."
Van ran forward and made it to Sasha and Flora, giving the advantage to the Chickens at the moment. As Van made it to the two, Billy's radio turned on to give instructions for the race, "Three parts left, and it's now time for a test of balance. For this you'll have to jump from rock to rock without hitting the floor, a fairly simple task, but if you hit the ground, you'll have to start back at the beginning."
Van ran over to Sasha and waved, "Kodi's still stuck, now's our chance to take the lead."
Sasha nodded as she began to start jumping on the rocks. The temptress was careful to not fall off, but the rocks were only just big enough to hold a person on top of them, so it was hard to keep her balance.
"Come on Kodi, you got this..." Flora whispered as she waited for Kodi to make it to her.
"Aha! A nat twenty! Now my chances will be one hundred per-" Kodi was shot back to the ground by another paintball, "OW WHY!?" Kodi cried out in pain as he got back up.
Kodi looked over at one of the turrets and ducked in fear as it fired at him again. Luckily for the DnD nerd, his ducking led to the paintball flying over him straight into another turret, which knocked it over and caused it to shoot another paintball in return, which lead to another turret being shot, which started a cycle of turrets knocking each other over.
Kodi kept his hands over his head as he ran through the chaotic mess of paintballs to where Flora was waiting for him, Sasha was going very slowly on the rocks as to not fall off. Kodi ran up to Flora and gave her a thumbs-up as a signal she could go forward.
"Good job Kodi!" Flora cheered before slightly laughing.
"What's wrong?" Kodi asked the pacifist who turned around to head to the rocks.
Flora lightly snickered, "You just look like a Jackson Pollock painting that's all."
Kodi looked down at his body to see he was covered in a mess of colors, "So I do..."
Flora jumped onto a rock to try and catch up with Sasha, with the temptress almost being done with her part of the race. Flora seemed to be having a much easier time on the rocks compared to Sasha though, mostly thanks to her thin frame. Flora hopped from rock to rock as Sasha began to pick up the pace.
"Slow and steady..." Sasha told herself as she was about three-fourths done with the race.
"It's just like playing hopscotch..." Flora smiled as she began to grow closer and closer to Sasha, until the two were eventually neck and neck.
Flora's quicker pace lead to her passing by Sasha while Sasha still played carefully. The pacifist then made it to the end of the rock path before heading off to Timothy and Paige, with Sasha following behind not even a minute after.
The footrace between the two was a lot more Sasha-leaning, as she ended up running faster than Flora and managed to make it to Paige and Timothy first, with Billy's instructions turning on to them what to do, "For the penultimate race, we have five rock walls that you will have to climb up, nothing too challenging. All you have to do is race while climbing up these walls, and no, you cannot go around them, Timothy."
Timothy crossed his arms and huffed as Billy called him out.
"With that out of the way, what are you guys waiting for? A secret message? Get going already!" Billy ordered the two, causing them to start climbing the walls.
Surprisingly, the two seemed to be neck and neck in this climbing race, as both were very experienced in this field. Paige was good at climbing thanks to her practicing it for hiding spots, while Timothy was used to climbing into the Chicken's mansion to snoop around.
"You should just give up Paige, you can't be me!" Timothy bragged as Paige kept up with him.
Paige giggled in response, "That's not what it looks like to me Timothy, looks like you're loosing by a lot!" Paige toyed with Timothy, leading to him climbing even faster than before.
Timothy got to the top of the first wall and pointed off into the distance, "Holy! Look Paige, Wyatt's over there!"
"Wait, really!?" Paige looked to where Timothy pointed, only to see nothing but the empty beach, "Hey wait a minute, there's nobody there!" Paige turned around to see Timothy was already on the second wall.
"Sucker!" Timothy yelled out as he kept climbing up, though this seemed to just make Paige angry, as she proceeded to jump down to the second wall so she could catch up with the tattletale, "Oh god she's gonna kill me!" Timothy panicked as he climbed up the wall as fast as he could.
Paige growled as she furiously climbed up the wall, "You're gonna regret pulling my heartstrings like that Timothy! Get back here!" Paige chased after Timothy, who in his panic had managed to make it straight to the top of the second wall.
"Never!" Timothy jumped off the second wall and made it to the third portion.
King and Melissa both waited for their teammates to show up as they stayed outside the rope swing. Melissa looked over at King and gave a light chuckle, "You know I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed that you managed to make it through all of this despite your attitude, looks like luck is really on your side. Unfortunately, there's no way you're gonna make it past this or the next challenge." Melissa spoke with confidence in her team.
King looked over at Melissa, "I'm sorry, am I supposed to take a threat from an underling who can't even learn her place seriously?"
"What was that?" Melissa gained an angry look on her face as King insulted her.
"I don't need to repeat myself because garbage like you will never listen," King scoffed, "You are by far the worst and most miserable cretin to be on that team of failures and disappointments, you amount to nothing except taking the place of your leader. The only time you won a challenge for your team was with the help of that piece of trash with the cameras, every other accomplishment your team has had has boiled down to pure luck or someone else's skill, but you ride off their victories and use it to make yourself seem like you're actually worth something. You're the worst type of garbage there, the one who wants to be something important and can't learn their place. You're just scum on your team."
Melissa scoffed, "Yeah right, I'm not exactly gonna take an insult from the guy who's on a team that lost four people in a row, and the guy who was gonna be voted out in the first episode had it not been for an idol."
Before the two could keep up their argument, they were cut off by Timothy and Paige arriving to the area at the same time, though Timothy just ran past Melissa in fear of being caught by Paige.
"Just go Melissa, I'm gonna get murdered if I stop to give you a signal!" Timothy yelled out at Melissa, who laughed at the boy's misfortune.
Billy's final set of instructions came onto the radio for the pair to listen to, "Here we have the final challenge, the rope swing, for this, you'll have to continuously swing from rope to rope without touching the ground, with the punishment for hitting the ground being to restart the challenge. With that out of the way, good luck on your final challenge..."
Melissa and King both wasted no time jumping onto a rope to swing on. Melissa managed to grab an early lead by getting to the next rope first, leaving King slightly behind. Though that lead didn't last long as King managed to catch up to her with ease. The two managed to make it to the third rope, still completely even, but this time they were both right next to each other, all it took to mess the other up was one kick... that was all. However, neither of them opted to play dirty, and made it to the fourth rope of the area, with King having the lead now.
After the fourth rope came them becoming even again at the fifth rope, only a few ropes left, and they were both so close to victory. King managed to get to the sixth rope, but was left in the dust when Melissa did a huge risk and jumped as quickly as possible from the fourth rope to the fifth to the sixth to the seventh, with King having to catch up.
Eventually, both decided to just risk everything for victory and began to swing from rope to rope as quickly as humanly possible. Melissa gained the lead, but King managed to gain the lead right after, until both of them were dead even at the final rope, there it was, a mat laid on the ground to symbolize a finish line, one of them just had to outplay the other. Both of them took the leap and...

Billy, who was not too far from the mat got up and walked over to the two and scratched, "Uhh... I didn't have a photo finish in this case... So I don't know who won."
"Oh come on!" Melissa got up and dusted herself off, "Just pick one of us to win!"
King nodded in agreement as he glared at Billy in annoyance.
Billy tapped his chin, "How about... neither of you wins, and the winner is us interns because we managed to get all of these wonderful challenges out in the span of a few hours, I think we deserve a pat on the back for that."
"What?" King deadpanned at the response.
"Yeah no offense, but that's stupid Billy." Melissa crossed her arms in annoyance.
Billy shrugged, "Sorry, but looks like it's a reward challenge, and the reward goes to me and the others, better luck next time." Billy walked off, leaving the two behind to sit with the frustration of the situation.
The interns sat at the island's bars late at night, with all of them getting their own custom drink to celebrate the challenge, "Cheers to use interns!" Carlton announced as he clinked a glass of a non-alcoholic cocktail with the other interns.
"We gotta do this again sometime." Billy chuckled, "It was a lot of fun doing this."
Buck nodded, "Yeah, I wonder if Drew will let us host one of the challenges whenever the merge comes around, we could do something like this again. I'm sure he'd be fine with it once he sees how well this challenge we-" Buck's phone suddenly began to ring with a call from Drew, "Oh speak of the devil. Heya Drew!" Buck answered the phone, "How'd the match go for ya?"
"It went great! But I was calling to check in on how the challenge went." Drew told the interns as Buck set the phone's audio to speakers.
"Oh, it was perfect!" Mitch laughed, "We put the contestants through the four challenges, and it ended with a tie."
"Ah, so which two contestants did you guys get voted out?" Drew asked the interns.
Carlton blinked twice, "Two contestants?"
"Yeah," Drew replied, "I sent you guys a text that said to eliminate the bottom two contestants today as a surprise elimination, and in the case of a tie somehow, to have both teams vote someone off, so who got sent home?"
Billy lightly coughed, "Well... we.."
Mitch rubbed his arm, "Sorta... maybe didn't..."
"Know that..." Buck checked the phone's text messages and found one from Drew that mentioned exactly what Drew was asking them about.
"Oh my god, we didn't know that!" Carlton yelled out in frustration, "Nobody got voted out, we made it a reward challenge!"
"You WHAT!?" Drew yelled at the four interns, causing them to jump up in fear, "You guys had one job!"
Mitch yelped as he ran off, "Looks like it's time to get a hiding place ready for when Drew returns!"
"Hey wait for me!" Carlton followed behind Mitch.
Buck turned to the camera, "Haha, uh... who will get eliminated next episode? What developments will happen next? Will Drew be merciful on his return? Find out next time on
TotalDramaSakakmannanoIsland!" Buck quickly spoke as the sound of Drew yelling could be heard before the camera faded out.
