The aftermath studio was dark and empty, which made sense, the aftermath ep wasn't starting until two days from now, so there was no need to have anyone on stage at the moment, plus it was also nighttime, so nobody was awake to go there anyway. Klaas whistled as he looked around to see if anyone was watching him, before he suddenly gave a thumbs-up after confirming that he was alone. Persephone suddenly popped up out from behind the aftermath stage's curtain, before waving back to Klaas and approaching him.
"Alright, you already know why I asked you to come back here?" Persephone asked Klaas, who was looking at a few dollar bills before he looked up at Persephone.
Klaas put the bills away before grinning, "Yeah, our deal."
"Yes." Persephone nodded before pulling out a slip of paper and giving it to Klaas, the paper had some parts of it blacked out, but on the top it read 'Total Drama Okanafausta'.
"Why is it so blacked out?" Klaas looked out the paper with crucial information on it, "I can hardly read this."
Persephone chuckled as she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, "Hey, beggars don't get to be choosers, alright? They most likely didn't want anyone else finding it, so they covered all of the important info about the season like challenges, all that I could make out was the season name, state, and theme, but that's what you wanted, so you'd better hold up your end of the deal."
"Ok ok. Fine, I'll make do with what this gives me." Klaas put the paper in his pocket before looking back at Persephone, "But I still don't really get it, why would you want me to message Kaito's sister about the poll in advance so she can rig it for Kaito's return? Why not just have me tell one of your fans about the poll so you can come back."
Persephone shook her head as she turned around, "Cheating any more than this would make me feel physically sick, rigging a poll to guarantee someone's return is one thing, but I'd simply be too sore of a loser if I made myself come back, I will earn that when I win the return challenge comes along." Persephone turned to face Klaas again, "I'd never play that dirty, that is for the commoners beneath me to do." Persephone bragged.
"Ok, but why Kaito? He was on our team, you know." Klaas pointed out.
Persephone laughed, "I figured you'd be familiar with risks being a gambler, but to spell it out for you, I'm taking the risk that Kaito returning gets Van and Paige to abandon Sasha completely in favor of sticking together. Didn't you see the latest episode too? Van was talking to Paige about laying low with Sasha too, so if another former teammate she holds dear returns, Sasha will lose a key ally come merge, and she'll be out easily. Besides, I like not having this plan being guaranteed for success, if it fails, it shows that I shouldn't have gotten involved with this rigging, and I will accept all faults on that end."
Klaas shrugged before getting ready to leave, "If you say so." Klaas pulled the paper out of his pocket and read from it as he walked away from Persephone, "A swamp in New Orleans, huh? I'll have to see what I can do to make us of that."
Persephone walked the opposite direction of Klaas and pulled a sharpie out from her pocket, "Of course, I'd feel sick helping others cheat too..."
