"Last time on Total Drama Sakamannano Island!" Drew grinned as he greeted the camera, "We had our malihinis play a good old game of hot potato but with a pineapple, but funnily enough, the contestants were more focused on trying to grab the pineapple than avoid it." The camera played footage of Paige tying Brandon up and taking the pineapple, "Paige and her group captured other contestants, Sasha took on a lookout role while Brandon, and Melissa made an uneasy partnership with Timothy to chase down Wane this challenge, which... she did really well." The camera showed Melissa throwing the glue-covered pineapple at Wane, "In the end, Wane couldn't save himself and was sent home, marking the end of our favorite scam artist! Who will go home next? What alliances will be made? Find out right here on... Total... Drama... Sakamannano Island!"
Intro Start
Multiple cameras popped out from surfboards, tiki torches, statues of Drew, and other objects on the island. The camera then flew past Drew, Pamela, and Hack, with the former two arguing about something and the latter drinking from a barrel of rum.
"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine, You guys are on my mind." The Camera went up the dead volcano, revealing Kaito setting up some of his stargazing equipment, and Vanessa helping him out.
"You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see." The camera jumped down into the volcano, where Timothy was listening in on Kaito and Van's conversation with a radio. In addition to Timothy being there, Wane was checking the cages of shame for any lost coins or valuables.
"I wanna be famous." Wane dusted off one of the cages, revealing that Alex somehow got trapped inside. Wane tipped the cage over and kicked Alex out, before hopping inside of it to search for valuables.
"I wanna live close to the sun." The camera then made a cut to inside the mess hall, where Kodi was teaching Will how to play Chambers and Beasts at a table, with Will shaking his head and pretending to understand how to play the game.
"So pack your bags, 'cause I've already won." The camera moved outside where Melissa and Beatrice were chatting together.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way." To the left of Melissa and Beatrice, May was walking until Paige jumped out of the bushes, scaring the daydreamer.
"I'll get there one day." The camera moved towards the nearby Hilahala hut, where Wyatt and Flora were both petting Spirit's belly.
"Cause I wanna be famous." On the other side of the area where the Haaheo mansion was, Klaas and King were playing a match of poker, with almost all of the chips being on King's side.
"Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na." Moving away from the hut and the mansion, Persephone and Sasha could be seen arguing about something.
"I wanna be, I wanna be famous." The camera jumped over to the beach of the island, where an oil-covered Brandon could be seen fixing up an old boat. Behind him, Elizabeth was pretending to be a scarecrow.
"I wanna be, I wanna be famous." Finally, the camera moved over to Becky, who was writing down song lyrics in a notepad. Becky turned around and noticed the camera, elbowing it to the ground for privacy. The shot was then cut to Buck, Mitch, Carlton, and Billy, who all set the camera down for the final shot, as they got the camera in position they ran behind Drew, causing the camera to flash and take a photo of all of everyone previously seen. The screen moved back to show the photo on a postcard that read 'Aloha from Hawaii!" with whistling accompanying it.
Intro End
The camera cut to the mess hall during breakfast, where Melissa was shown pacing around a table. "I mean yeah we did surprisingly well last challenge, but one team-up doesn't just erase all the peeping, spying, and creeping he's done."
She looked to the person at the table, King, who was picking at the fish that Hack had conjured up with disdain.
"I know right, he should be gone for the rummaging around through our underwear at least. But Flora likes him and he claims to have stopped, but can I even trust the guy who doesn't even trust other people around him?" Melissa questions.
King just tossed the fish away in the trash and stayed silent.
"You're right, he should be out. But question is, how?" Melissa sat down and thought about it. While King just got up and walked away without giving Melissa a glance.
King let out a very silent sigh of relief that he was finally alone, "What the hell was she even talking about?" King rolled his eyes as he left to go do whatever King does.
In the rafters of the mess hall was Timothy looking down through a pair of binoculars "Once I get enough proof of you targeting me, Flora will see that you can't be trusted."
A voice suddenly came from behind Timothy, "You're obsessed with that girl aren't you?"
"WAH!" Timothy yelped before he fell over and hung onto the beam. He looked up and saw Paige sitting cross-legged while eating rice. "How'd you get up here?" Timothy whispered to not get any attention from Melissa.
"It's not all that interesting." Paige brushed off Timothy's question before she hung from her legs, "More importantly, why are you spying on Melissa? Aren't you guys former teammates? Shouldn't ya be working together?"
"We should, but I believe she wants me eliminated," Timothy pulled himself back up. "Look I'm really busy here so-" Timothy blinked before seeing Paige had vanished, "What the?! She was literally right here!" He freaked before groaning, "Whatever, gotta focus." He looked back down to Melissa, only to find Paige underneath the beam.
Paige gave a grin while she pulled herself up to see Timothy at eye level, "You know I'm one for stealth missions, but this is just creepy."
Timothy yelped before he jumped back as Paige lifted herself up, "Where did- how did- Gah!"
"Your reactions are fun, not quite as good as Mitch's. I've been trying to sneak up on him for weeks, but I haven't gotten the chance yet." Paige scratched her head while hanging on with one arm, "Now that I think about it... I haven't seen any of the interns since the last challenge... I wonder where they went."
Timothy groaned as he held onto the rafter beam, "Look Paige, I really don't have time to talk right-" Timothy stopped before he saw she had vanished again. He blinked, "How long have I been up here? I think I'm seeing things." Timothy pulled out a camera from his pocket, "Maybe I should break my no camera rules just to see if I can catch how she does that..."
"Do what?" Paige asked, appearing right in front of him.
"AH GET AWAY!" Timothy screamed before he fell down from the rafters and into Melissa's food, the two stared into each other's eyes. The lady narrowed her eyes while Timothy sweated under his shades "Uh, just checking for dust mites? All good..." Timothy then scampered away under the suspicious gaze of his enemy.
Confessional: Timothy
"Note to self: after eliminating Melissa, find out if Paige teleports." Timothy wrote down in a notebook.
Paige raised her head out from the side of the confessional, "Heard that theory before."
"JESUS CHRIST!" Timothy screamed in terror
Confessional Over
Sasha was seen looking over some notes as her breakfast, or whatever Hack made to constitute breakfast, was sitting untouched. She then saw Beatrice walking up, "Um, hi Sasha."
"Ah, Beatrice, been awhile since we last conversed. So you're Brandon's little helper now." Sasha stated as she offered the mermaid lover to sit down, which she did.
Beatrice took a scoop of rice and before being grossed out by it, "A little bit yeah. He told me a lot about you while we built his vehicle."
Sasha perked her head up, "Has he?"
Beatrice nodded, "He said you were really pretty, and that you're like really smart, smarter than any person he knows. That you've got an analysis on everyone in the cast so far."
"Oh nothing too big." Sasha then pulled out a binder, where she opens up a page. "I only know everyone's hobbies and what they usually do for a routine, nothing too major."
"What's that?" Beatrice asked as she turned a page and saw a drawing of Melissa and Timothy kissing under poppy leaves.
"Oh, that's just one of my lesser theories." Sasha explained, "Though that's about as likely to happen as Wane donating to a charity. Besides, from what I gathered he has another former frog taking a keen interest in him." Beatrice sees that Sasha has documented times that Flora has hung out with Timothy, "But I doubt she'll go to side with him over Melissa."
Beatrice gushed at the sight, "Awwwww that's so sweet, he's got a special someone."
"But enough about that, I've got a proposition for you." Sasha told Beatrice, "Since you and Brandon are fairly close, and with most everyone forming their own mini-groups. Only smart that we follow suit."
"You mean... me, you, and Brandon?" The mermaid questioned.
"Makes the most sense, since your his closest friend from the Frogs, and I'm his 'main squeeze'." She emphasized, "Plus... if all goes well we may be with the rest of the Frogs as an alliance."
"Well, I guess since the others are doing it, I could give being in a group a shot." Beatrice smiled, "Maybe it can help us bond and get to know each other."
Sasha chuckled before whispering, "Oh I already know everything about you,"
"What?" Beatrice raised an eyebrow as Sasha pretended to not say anything.
Elsewhere in the cafeteria, Kaito was shown writing in his notes and looking at his phone, "Blah blah... mars rover discovers the same old..." Kaito groaned, for once seeming bored by his research, "Nothing interesting today, there's gotta be something today..."
"Maybe it houses a dragon?" Kaito looked up and sees Kodi's dopey smile.
Kaito closed his notebook and shook his head, "I highly doubt that."
"You never know what the outer reaches of space can hold." Kodi said before he sat down and held out his hand "I'm Kodi by the way."
Kaito slowly took his hand and shook, "Kaito... don't think we... properly introduced ourselves. Where are your other two compatriots? The... red shirt one and the girl with a flower in her hair?"
"Oh Will is helping Van film a collaboration video for that one video sharing app... uh... Tic Tac, I think?" Kodi shrugged before giving a smile, "I don't really remember what it's called but that's where he is."
Kaito looked around the room, "So that's why Van hasn't shown up yet..."
Kodi looked down at a flounder he picked for breakfast, only for it to suddenly jump up and start flopping away, "Looks like she made the right choice..."
"Yeah, Hack hasn't really improved on his cooking has he?" Kaito took a bite of his fish before choking and spitting it out, "How is it both burnt and raw?"
"I don't know, but at least we get the intern's buffet next time. I heard Carlton has been working on different sandwiches," Kodi gave a wide smile at the thought of real food.
"How do you know that?" Kaito asked.
"Timothy mentioned he overheard it while hanging out with Flora," Kodi stated, "I'm kinda glad he's making an effort to not spy on us anymore, it was kinda creepy when he did it, n-no offense to him of course, it is just his hobby and I shouldn't judge!"
Kaito scoffed at Kodi's earlier statement, "I'll say, I found a lot of things in my room messed with last time I was here..." Kaito sighed before he tapped his pen on the notebook he had.
Kodi tilted his head, "Is something wrong?"
"I'm fine... just not used to socializing this much." Kaito clicked his pen rapidly.
"Eh don't worry, I get shy when greeting new people too." Kodi patted his shoulder.
Confessional: Kaito
"Now that I'm back I wanted to try and make more meaningful connections like Van wanted me to last time. Van's wonderful and Paige is fine, but I think Van would like it if I made a friend on my own. I spent many hours last night practicing casual conversation, so I think I'll be okay." Kaito tapped his forehead while remembering what he practiced, "From what I gathered friendship forging requires four key steps: One, compliments, Two, recreational activity, Three, common interests, and Four, sharing."
Confessional Over
Kodi noticed Kaito's notebook, "You into astronomy or somethin?"
"I suppose that's understating it, it's much more than that to me." Kaito nodded
Kodi smiled and lightly chuckled "That's cool!"
Kaito lightly smiled at Kodi's words, "Many thanks, I've noticed your own sessions of the game... Chambers and Beasts. Have to say you got quite the imagination."
"Thanks, always looking to build the story depending on who joins the party during that session." Kodi giggled, "If you want I can squeeze you in our next session."
"I'll... let you know." Kaito responded as Drew's voice came in on the intercom.
Drew cleared his throat to get everyone's attention, "Attention everyone, meet me down at the bonfire in the next... NOW MINUTES! Thank you for your time." Drew called off as the contestants got ready to leave.
"Well, I suppose we'll have to continue this conversation after the challenge, I will see you later." Kaito lightly bowed before walking away.
Kodi smiled as he followed behind, "See you then!"
The contestants all gathered around the bonfire to wait for Drew's instructions. While they were waiting, Hack and Pamela began setting up a large whiteboard, before Drew ran up to the group to greet them, "Hello Malihinis! Ready for today's challenge?" Nobody said anything as Drew waited for a response, "That's what I thought! Now, what you'll be doing today is a good old test of parenting, of the egg variety!" Drew pulled out a carton of eggs and opened it, revealing all the eggs inside had faces, "Inside this carton of eggs I have a bunch of children… wait that doesn't sound right… a bunch of eggs with faces on them. All of you will be grouped into pairs and you'll each be given the responsibility of caring for these eggs and making sure they don't get damaged in any way, and I mean it when I say care for them, no putting them in a fridge and waiting for the challenge to end! If you accidentally break your egg, you're out of the challenge and will probably never be trusted around kids again. Any questions?"
Everyone stayed silent as Drew moved onto the whiteboard, "Coolio! Now, normally I'd just let you guys pick your pairs, but since it's obvious who's going where I'll just cut the middleman out and assign your teams: Paige and Melissa, Van and Kaito, Beatrice and King, Brandon and Sasha, Will and Kodi, and Timothy and Flora!"
"King for a partner, that's… great…" Beatrice deadpanned as King was doing his usual schtick of staying silent.
Flora hugged Timothy, causing the tattletale to try and squirm out of it, "Oh! This is gonna be so much fun, Tim!"
"Well, off you go!" Drew ushered the groups away, "Go… I dunno, read the eggs a book or something! I gotta go make sure the four idiots are doing their job right now." Drew walked away, leaving the pairs by themselves.
Paige was tossing the egg up in the air and catching it as Melissa's back was turned. The two were walking over to the Frogs' hut to get some privacy from the rest of the teams, though Melissa definitely looked like she wasn't too interested in winning the challenge. "So, what are we gonna name this little guy?" Paige asked as Melissa stopped in front of the hut, "I was thinking like… Eggbert! Or something like that!"
Melissa looked back at Paige and just lightly shrugged, "Sure, that works." Melissa quickly responded before going back to planning on how to get rid of Timothy, "I could probably ask my old teammates… they'll side with me over him easily."
Paige chuckled and set the egg down, "You look really funny right now. What are ya, thinking too hard or something?" Paige pointed out how Melissa was caught up in her thoughts.
"I am." Melissa snapped back to reality and looked to Paige, "There's someone I want to get rid of, but I need to think of how to get rid of him first."
"Ohhhhh, I know who you're talking about!" Paige grinned and gave finger guns, "Can't believe we share a common enemy!"
Melissa raised an eyebrow, "Wait, you're going after T-"
"King? Yeppers! Tried to get him out last challenge, actually, but Kaito said you had the pineapple, so I guess that's how you got Wane out." Paige shrugged as she cut off Melissa, "I guess I could've sat back and watched him to make sure he didn't hand it over to anyone, but I figured he'd just sit on the beach like a creep all day."
Melissa breathed a sigh of relief that Paige didn't know she foiled her attempt at getting rid of King, "Well, I meant Timothy, not King."
Paige blinked twice before shaking her head, "Timothy? That feels like a weird choice for someone to eliminate."
"Trust me, if you were his teammate, you'd want him gone too." Melissa groaned at the thought of all the time she and Timothy had spent as teammates.
Paige shrugged again, "Well, I guess I won't judge ya for that." Paige looked down at the egg, "I will, however, judge you for your lack of parenting skills! Get over here and take care of this child!" Paige yelled at Melissa, who jumped up and went to go take care of their 'kid'.
"Alright King," Beatrice groaned as she looked at their egg, "What should we do to take care of this?"
King took one look at the egg and then looked back up at Beatrice, "It's an egg. Just don't be a moron." King simply replied as Beatrice groaned again.
"Yeah, yeah, I get it, you're better than everyone blah blah blah." Beatrice mimicked King, "What do we do to win this challenge?"
"If you're genuinely unsure of how to do the simple task of pretending an egg is a child, just give it to me and I'll do this effortlessly," King rolled his eyes and held out his hand, "Unless you care to prove me wrong."
Beatrice thought for a moment and held the egg out, "You know what, I actually think I'll enjoy watching you be the parent to this egg, here, take it!" Beatrice smiled as she handed the egg to King, only for the man to accidentally break the egg between his fingers when he went to grab it. [1]
The two stared at the broken egg in King's hand before Beatrice looked up at King, "This simple task, huh?" Beatrice remarked as King shook his hand in the air to get the yolk off of it.
"I will admit…" King kept trying to get the yolk off of him, "That was my failure."
Beatrice just face-palmed as she and King became the first losers of the challenge.
"Umm… no offense to Drew for this challenge but…" Brandon looked at the egg as he and Sasha were at the bar, "This is stupid."
"Stupid is being pretty nice," Sasha chuckled while pulling out a stool for both her and Brandon, "I think the word… Idiotic fits a lot better for this. How does he judge our parenting skills, exactly? What's the point of judging them if it doesn't matter, and all that matters is that we don't break the egg?"
Brandon shrugged while looking at the egg, "Well, I guess I won't question what he wants us to do." Brandon grabbed a nearby spoon and started shaking it above the egg.
Sasha looked at Brandon for a moment, "W-" Sasha let out a small laugh, "What are you doing?"
"Pretending this is a set of keys." Brandon set the spoon down, "I don't think Drew is judging us on our usage of props… probably."
Sasha kept laughing at the sight, "How about we just take the egg for a walk? I can hold it pretty carefully too.
Brandon got up and gave the egg to Sasha, "Sure, beats just sitting around here pretending the egg is a baby." Brandon cracked his neck and stretched his arms out, "Maybe we can take my ATV for a drive? I just got that finished so it's a pretty good time to test it out?"
"You have an ATV? On the island, no-less?" Sasha questioned.
Brandon facepalmed, "Right, I forgot to tell you about it, well, looks like it's a good time to show it off."
Sasha shook her head, "It sounds nice, but I don't think taking a joy ride would be a good idea right now. A walk is much more controlled and is easier to work with."
"Ah…" Brandon dejectedly held his head down, "Alright… let's get going."
"Ok, so what should we name this little cutie?" Kodi smiled while he and Will sat around the bonfire with the egg, "I was thinking something like… Takhisis! That's a good name!" Kodi looked at the egg's painted-on face.
"Isn't that a villain from DnD? I dunno if we should call our 'child' something evil." Will pointed out while Kodi blushed.
"Our… child…" Kodi fantasized about him and Will being parents together.
Will shook Kodi a bit to snap him out of it, "You alright? You zoned out for a moment."
Kodi shook his head before giving a nervous smile, "Yep! Doing just fine!"
Confessional: Kodi
"I know me and Will are practically dating," Kodi gripped his hair and pulled a few strands out, "But I'm kinda worried that him kissing me was just a heat-of-the-moment type thing! I don't wanna move forward too fast!"
Confessional Over
Confessional: Will
Will scratched his head in confusion, "Huh, Kodi's still kinda shy about me being here… I thought the kiss was a good sign I wanted to date him…" Will snapped his fingers, "Oh well, I'll just ask right now to make sure we're clear!
Confessional Over
"So Kodi," Will pretended to play with their egg before turning to him, "I never asked when I got eliminated, but I was wondering if you wanted to become an offic-"
Will was cut off by Kodi getting a huge nosebleed before falling over, "Yes!" Kodi yelled out in a daze while his nose was still bleeding, "Yes I do!"
Will laughed as he helped Kodi back up, "Welp, that was a lot quicker of a response than I was expecting." Will joked as Kodi wiped his face off with his sleeve. As soon as Will finished speaking, Kodi immediately grabbed him by the arm and pulled him forward.
"Let's go take a walk with Takhisis to celebrate!" Kodi yelled with glee as he dragged Will with him.
"Woah, ok, you can slow down a bit!" Will chuckled as he began keeping pace with Kodi, the two heading off to walk down the beach with their egg.
"What are you doing, Timothy?" Flora asked her friend as he was stationed up in a nearby tree with a set of binoculars.
"Making sure Melissa isn't planning my downfall." Timothy responded as he spotted something with his binoculars, "Aha! There she is talking to Brandon! No wait, that's two rocks…"
Flora laughed and climbed up the tree to meet Timothy, "I think you're a bit too worried about her Tim, there's no way she'd wanna get rid of you after you just worked together. She's probably just pretending to still be mad at you because she wants to believe you two aren't a good team! I'm sure if you talk it out you can fix it!"
Timothy sighed before setting his binoculars down, "I'd love to believe that, but I'm pretty sure she wants me out right here and right now, like, after Elizabeth got eliminated she's been a whole lot more com- THERE SHE IS!" Timothy suddenly yelled as he grabbed his binoculars again, "I knew she was sneaking- Nevermind, it's just a statue of a girl praying." [2]
"Tim, I think you're too worried about this," Flora noted as Timothy kept searching around for Melissa, "I have faith that Melissa wouldn't go against you like that for no reason. Just try to relax, and… if she does end up trying that, I'll tell you about it! How about that?" Flora asked as Timothy sighed.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Timothy tossed the binoculars away, "I haven't been able to properly relax in forever because of this, and I'd love to just lay back for a bit. Let's take care of the egg child and win this challenge!"
"Yeah!" Flora showed Timothy the egg before the branch they were both sitting on collapsed from their weight, causing them both to crash onto the ground and their egg to shatter into a shell and yolk-filled mess, "Oh…" Flora looked up from the ground before lightly chuckling, "At least we don't have to worry about the challenge anymore?"
Timothy responded by slamming his face into the ground and yelling multiple profanities while Flora just nervously watched him do so.
"Yep… it definitely could be worse…" Flora got up from the ground and looked back at the egg, she and Timothy had become the second team out of the challenge…
"Alright, Kae-Kae! Let's kick this challenge's butt!" Van showed Kaito the egg, with the astrophile making sure she didn't accidentally drop it. Van and Kaito were inside Kaito's room in the mansion, where tons of papers about planets and stars were strewn about on the ground.
"Please hold it with caution Van." Kaito took the egg from Van to keep it from getting damaged, "Knowing our host, he most likely did something to this egg to make it easier to break. So we'd be best off playing everything safely.
Van analyzed the egg before shrugging lightly, "Pretty sure it's just a regular old egg Kae-Kae. I don't think it's too much to be worried about."
Kaito sighed before giving the egg back to Van, "Right, forgive my rudeness, I'm just a lot more cautious now since returning. I'm trying to win or at least go to the finale with you, so I want to play as perfectly as possible now."
Van slapped Kaito on the back and laughed, "Hey, nothing wrong with wanting to win man, but there's also nothing wrong with taking a few losses along the way. I think all that matters is the fun you have along the way, personally."
"Right… but, I think I still should be trying my best the whole way through," Kaito rubbed his arm, "I have to make up for my previous failures last time somehow."
"Well you're here right now, and I'd say that makes up for it pretty damn well." Van smiled as Kaito lightly smiled back.
Kaito took the egg and looked at it before turning to Van, "Maybe you're right…" Kaito thought for a few moments before opening the door, "Well, let's finish this challenge and go back to this conversation later, I don't think sitting around and chatting will count for our victory."
Van laughed and followed Kaito out, "Yeah let's get a fake bottle and pretend to feed it or something, sounds like fun!" Van kept laughing at the thought of giving an egg milk in a bottle as the two headed down to the mansion's kitchen.
Brandon and Sasha strolled up a hiking trail on the island with their egg before stopping to get a good view of the scenery. "It looks pretty right now." Brandon noted as he and Sasha looked out to see the top of trees in the forest, "I'm not usually a nature guy but things like this sometimes make me feel like one."
Sasha pretended to show the egg the view, "Yeah, maybe we should walk this trail again on a second date or something, it'd probably be nice."
Brandon rubbed the back of his head, "We could just pretend this is a date right now."
"I'd love to do that, but we do have the challenge to complete, so let's do that first." Sasha pointed out while showing the egg to Brandon.
"Right, yeah, we probably shouldn't lose focus right now." Brandon laughed with embarrassment as he moved back and stretched his arms out, "Well, we should probably keep going, don't want Drew to think we're not putting effort into the challenge."
Sasha stepped back while keeping the egg safe, "Yeah, you're right, let's go move to the top of this trail." Sasha walked off with Brandon.
Melissa rocked the egg back and forth while Paige just glared at her, "Paige, this is stupid." Melissa complained as Paige kept her arms crossed.
"I don't care! You are gonna be a good mother to this child and you're gonna like it!" Paige told Melissa, who sped up her process of rocking the egg back and forth, "You can't just abandon your own child who do you think you are?"
Melissa rolled her eyes as she gave the egg to Paige, "Well, I believe I've done enough at the moment how about you take over for now."
Paige pushed the egg back into Melissa's hands, "No no no, you're just gonna run off the moment you get a chance so you can ignore your duties as a mother to Eggbert!"
"Paige, I swear I'm not going anywhere, I just need to think of something," Melissa honestly told Paige, who still wasn't having any of the athletic nerd's nonsense.
"Well I guess you can prove that by taking care of him while I carve him a stroller out of wood!" Paige walked off and grabbed a bunch of sticks, leaving Melissa to sigh before she kept rocking Eggbert again.
Confessional: Melissa
"Sheesh," Melissa crossed her arms and sat back in the confessional, "Paige really is taking this challenge seriously."
Melissa was interrupted by Paige kicking a hole in the wall of the confessional before she stuck her head through, "Are you seriously making a confessional instead of caring for Eggbert!?"
"Ah!" Melissa jumped back as Paige gave her Eggbert through the hole in the wall.
Confessional Over
"Slow down Kodi!" Will yelled out as Kodi ran forward through the forest, of course, the person who wasn't running had the egg in their hand, so there was no danger to them, but Kodi was still far ahead of him, "I gotta catch up still!"
Kodi laughed and rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry, I'm just so excited now that we're an official couple!"
"Yeah, but you should still watch yourself, you could get really hurt running around without looking where your going!" Will scolded Kodi.
Kodi blushed a little bit, "Y-Yeah, right, I should've been looking out before I did that! My mistake!"
Will took Takhisis and handed them to Kodi, "How about we try doing something with this guy now? I think it could use a little more excitement." Will suggested as Kodi got an idea.
"Oh-oh! We could read it a fantasy story or something!" Kodi's eyes lit up with excitement, "I'll be the knight and you can be the… uh… dragon with a big pile of gold!"
Will laughed and hugged Kodi, "Gee, I didn't think I was that scary looking!" Will joked around as Kodi returned the hug, only for them both to hear a loud cracking noise.
"I…" Kodi pulled his arms back to see Takhisis destroyed in his hands, "Forget to set Takhisis down first…"
"Oh…" Will muttered out as the two just looked at their broken egg, making them the third duo to fall in the challenge.
Kaito and Van headed into the kitchen and looked around for something they could pretend to use as a bottle, "That should work." Kaito pointed out a water bottle in the cupboard and took it out before grabbing milk from the fridge.
"So, who do you think is still in the game?" Van asked while Kaito began to 'give' the egg milk, "I'd say Kodi and Will are probably gonna win this with how close they are."
Kaito set the bottle down before an imaginary lightbulb appeared over his head, "Closeness. Say, the Frogs are all close, right?" Kaito asked.
"Huh?" Van raised an eyebrow, "I mean, I 'unno, I don't watch what they do."
Kaito snapped his fingers, "If the Frogs are close that's a seven-person alliance against us, which means we're doomed during any vote-based eliminations. Not helping is that Sasha has decided to side with Brandon and King is off by himself, the game's at a score of eight to three to one!"
Van's eyes widened, "So no matter what, the Frogs have full control during votes? That's…"
Kaito groaned, "Far from good, if this challenge is a vote-based elimination, which it has to be due to the goal, we're automatically outvoted…. We'd need seven votes to guarantee someone else's elimination, but at best we can get five… maybe six if Kodi helps us."
"Maybe we can get… Sasha… and Brandon to side with us? That should even things out." Van suggested while wincing as Kaito handed the egg back to her.
Kaito nodded, "We'll still need a miracle to get past this, let's hope one arrives…"
"Finally! I finished the cradle for Eggbert!" Paige held up a wooden carving of a cradle before gently setting Eggbert in it, "Look how happy he is!" Paige smiled at the egg's blank expression.
Melissa blinked twice before sighing, "You know that's just an egg, right?"
Paige let out an exaggerated gasp and covered Eggbert's 'ears', "Melissa! How could you say such a thing about our lovely son!? You're gonna hurt his feelings saying things like that!"
"What? The truth?" Melissa raised an eyebrow as Paige took Eggbert out of the cradle and set him down on a log.
"Don't you listen to her Eggbert! Your other mommy is just a meanie!" Paige pointed at Melissa in an accusing manner, "You're a real boy to me!"
"He can't hear you or get offended, he's an egg," Melissa stated as Paige let out another exaggerated gasp.
Paige shook her head in denial, "No! He's a very real boy and he's gonna become a doctor or something when he grows up! Not a deadbeat parent like you've been most of the time!"
Meissa face palmed at Paige's antics, "Can we just finish this challenge already?"
Paige slammed her fist on the log, "Yeah! Get over here and help me take care of Eggbert!"
"Um… Paige?" Melissa looked down at where Paige slammed her fist, "I don't think I count as the worse parent anymore."
Paige's eyes widened as she looked down at the log, only to see a crushed eggbert underneath her fist. Paige gasped and looked like she was about to cry, only for the archer to suddenly shrug and hop up, "Oh well, can't win 'em all! Hey Melissa you wanna go make omelets while we wait for the challenge to end?" Paige asked as she walked away, leaving Melissa in disbelief at her lack of care now that the challenge was over for them.
Kaito had set the egg down in a blanket and was watching it, "How long do you think this… 'nap' should last for it?" Kaito asked Van, who was also watching the egg.
"I 'unno, probably like five more minutes?" Van looked at a clock on the wall, "Drew probably won't let us sit around forever like this."
Kaito groaned and rubbed the back of his head, "At least if we win this challenge we'll be safe for now, but we still have to look out for Paige too. Granted, I don't think she'd be targeted immediately, but it is very possible due to her physical advantages."
Van gave an optimistic smile, "Well, I'm sure we can figure out a way to solve it… even if it means having to work with Sasha."
"Oh? Do you two have a problem with each other?" Kaito asked the influencer.
Van shook her head, "No, I'm not, like, super pissed at her or anything, but I don't think I wanna be associated with her after what happened with Becky… she confronted her about a secret in the open, kinda hard to ignore that."
Kaito nodded in understanding, "I see… I understand why you don't want to work with her, but I propose that it only be temporary so we can even the scores. After that we can go back to our regular trio."
Van smiled before grabbing the egg, "Yeah… I guess that works… but we can solve this problem after the challenge is over, 'cause I can just feel that we're gonna win!"
Sasha and Brandon had finally made it to the top of the volcano, well it was more like six-sevenths the way there but they didn't want to risk going any higher and dropping the egg.
"So how many people do you think are left in the challenge?" Sasha questioned as she looked out at the distance while Brandon rocked the egg like Melissa had done earlier.
"I'd say… probably three or four pairs, including us." Brandon guessed as Sasha took out a notebook and began to write something down, "What are you doing?"
"Writing strategies for the game down while we have some downtime." Sasha kept writing before looking up at Brandon, "Say, how close are you with Will and Kodi?"
Brandon rubbed his arm, "Well… not that close, mostly just acquantices. Beatrice is my closest friend on my old team, I'd say."
Sasha nodded, "I'm aware of that…" Sasha shoved the notebook in Brandon's face, something that caused him to drop the egg so he could move the notebook away, to reveal it had every contestant's name on it, with all of them being placed into groups and having colored lines connecting them, "Hmm, with the merge here it seems everyone's off into their own factions. From what I can tell, Melissa has a good enough relationship with your former teammates to form an alliance, barring Timothy of course."
Brandon nervously chuckled as Sasha went over her plans, "Wow, you, uh, really think these things through."
"Of course," Sasha wrote her name in the center of the paper, "I am still here to win after all, I can't risk letting this information slip away… As for my former team, it appears to consist of me and King as wild cards for the votes and the rest in a sort of friendship trio. So all in all, our best bet is to get ourselves grouped with the Frogs temporarily. Since that'll make us a seven-person alliance consisting of: me, you, Melissa, Flora, Kodi, Beatrice, and Will."
"Wait, you said temporarily?" Brandon pointed out.
Sasha nodded, "Yes, I doubt Melissa will want to keep me around so we need to see which Frogs will help us before we vote her out for being too much of a social threat."
Brandon crossed his arms and laughed, "Just social? I think you forgot how good she is physically."
Sasha shook her head, "I'm aware of that, but to me, an alliance is much more dangerous than being good physically. She won't be able to win every challenge and when she slips up it'll be curtains for her."
"And what do we do when it just goes down to our alliance? We'll have to go against eachother." Brandon asked while looking over the notes.
Sasha closed the notebook and shrugged, "Then that's a game of everyone for themselves, well just have to hope we can get lucky and make it to the final three with Beatrice." Sasha looked around, "Now, let's focus back on the egg."
"Yeah, ok," Brandon looked down at his hands to see he wasn't holding the egg anymore, "Uhhh… where'd the egg go?"
Sasha looked to the right to see the egg was on the ground, broken, "Oh… we must've broken it while we were talking." Sasha groned and rubbed her temple, "That's fine, we're not in danger and we won't be seen a threat but-"
"And Vanessa and Kaito win the challenge!" Drew announced causing Sasha to groan more at how close they were to winning, "Anndddd…. Van has thrown her egg on the ground immediately in celebration… wow, great parenting you guys. Anyways, Van and Kaito get immunity for the day, everyone else, meet me at the bonfire soon!"
Confessional: Sasha
"I actually plan on manipulating more events to make the finale just me and Brandon," Sasha revealed with a smirk, "But I don't think he'd appreciate something like that so I'll keep it to myself."
Confessional Over
After the challenge ended, Melissa gathered all of the former frogs to the Frog's hut for a meeting, well, every former Frog except for Timothy. "It's pretty obvious why I gathered you all here today so I won't waste time beating around the bush." Melissa told the other Frogs, "We need to get rid of Timothy, all he does is breach everyone's privacy!"
Beatrice raised an eyebrow, "I mean, I'll vote for Timothy because you said so and I was just gonna side with whoever said to vote for one of you first, but wouldn't it be smarter to aim for one of the Chickens? Kaito seems to be pretty good as a player when he's serious, Paige is really athletic, Van has great social game, and King is another physical threat like Paige. Why vote Timothy out now when we have the play advantage?"
"I figured someone would ask that." Melissa pulled out a camera and set it on the table, "Well, Timothy has cameras everywhere, not too long ago I remember finding one in our very own hut, so my question to you is, why should we keep someone around when they keep spying on us and they know our secrets. Timothy might not be the biggest physical threat in the game, but he can blackmail all of us, and as such, is our biggest threat."
"But Timothy-" Flora started and was cut off by Brandon.
Brandon shrugged, "I guess we could vote out Timothy, but I want you to promise not to target me next because of my relationship with Sash, we're not helping the other Chickens so I don't want to be made into an enemy."
"Yeah, I want to add my own little agreement before voting." Beatrice agreed, "I'll vote for Timothy if you promise to go after a Chicken next time. I don't want to waste votes just for your grudges."
Melissa nodded, "I promise, I'll only vote for a Chicken next time." Melissa turned to Will and Kodi, "What about you two? Are you gonna vote Timothy as well?"
Will gave a light shrug, "I... I guess, if it means we can stay together as an alliance." Will sighed, "I feel really bad about betraying the guy who warned me about Alex's elimination ahead of time, especially with the person who got him out." Will pointed out, causing Melissa to drop silent with realization.
"Yeah! Is there nobody else we can vote for?" Kodi asked, "Timothy snoops but... I feel like he's gotten a lot better overtime, especially with what Flora's told me about! It feels really wrong to betray him like this."
Melissa sighed, "Look, as we're speaking right now, Timothy's probably trying to gather votes to get me out, I see why you'd hate to do it, but I'm against the wall,it's either I vote out Timothy or I get eliminated."
Kodi looked down sadly, "Oh... I didn't think you'd be in danger too... so we really have to make a choice, huh?"
"I'll vote for Timothy." Will stated as he clenched his fist, "It's gonna kill me on the inside to do this, but I know the rest of you are probably counting on this alliance to go forward, so... I'll vote him out if it means helping the group."
Kodi patted Will on the shoulder and nodded, "I... I guess... I wish we could just vote for one of the Chickens... but if you're depending on our votes... I'll vote for Timothy."
"Good... now for you Flora." Melissa turned over to the now-nervous pacifist, "I want you to vote for Timothy too. Can you do that?"
Flora sighed, "I think we should all reconsider this, Timothy will vote for one of the Chickens if we ask him too! I know he will!" Flora looked over to the others in desperation, "He's gotten rid of his cameras too, and he promised me that he wouldn't snoop around anymore after the bunker challenge! There's no way he would lie to me!"
Melissa groaned, "Flora, there's no way he would just drop something he does all the time because you told him to, he has to be lying to you. He'll probably just keep the cameras hidden until you get eliminated." Melissa theorized, "I know him way too well from my interactions."
"But..." Flora was cut off again, this time by Melissa.
"Flora, I'll give you some time to think it over, I know it's hard to believe at first, but it's the truth. Timothy's not a good person to be around." Melissa softly stated while the other Frogs just looked away from the scene, Will and Kodi with regret, and Brandon and Beatrice with empathy for Flora, "But I know you'll make the right choice in the end, I just need you to think about what Timothy's done first..."
Flora looked away, "I'll think about it..."
The camera immediately cut to Flora telling Timothy everything that happened at the meeting, "I tried convincing Melissa to change her mind but she wouldn't listen to me!" Flora told Timothy, who had a slightly worried look on his face, "I don't know what to do Timothy! How do I help you get out of this?"
Timothy took a deep breath and clenched his fist, "I knew this was coming after Wane got eliminated... I'll handle it." Timothy told Melissa while gaining a somewhat confident look on his face, "Thank you for telling me ahead of time, but I think I can save myself." Timothy took a deep breath, "It's gonna take a lot of begging... but I think I can convince the Chickens by warning them about how much power Melissa has..." Timothy put his hand on his chin, "King always votes for himself so he's a no go... but maybe Will and Kodi can be convinced... Flora, can you try to get Will and Kodi to change their minds? I doubt they'll listen to me with what Melissa's said."
Flora nodded, "Yeah! I can do that!"
"Good..." Timothy took a deep breath, "Looks like I'm gonna have to rely on a lot of luck... but I think the cards are in my favor..."
The camera skipped over to Sasha, who was sunbathing on the beach, "Hey Sasha." Melissa greeted the temptress, who lifted her shades up and looked at the athletic nerd, "I was wondering if you could-"
"Vote for Timothy?" Sasha correctly guessed, "Hmm, I suppose I can think about it. But I dunno if giving your alliance more power is the best move to make." Sasha grinned.
"I already agreed with Brandon that I wouldn't target you next vote." Melissa stated, "You can trust me."
Sasha thought about it for a moment, "I think I'll have to think it over first... I need to think of what the consequences of helping you will be first."
Melissa sighed, "Alright... just think about it and hopefully vote for Timothy. I promise it's the right decision." Melissa walked off and left Sasha by herself. After the nerd was gone, Timothy popped out from behind a rock and headed over to Sasha.
"Heeey! Sasha!" Timothy gave a forced smile, "I know we're not the bestest friends in the world, or that we've even interacted all that much before this, but I was wondering if you could do a local tattletale a favor by-"
"Voting for Melissa?" Sasha again guessed what a former Frog was going to say, "I already know it's a choice between siding with you and Melissa, and right now I'm leaning to side with Melissa."
Timothy gulped, "Well, think about it this way, if Melissa gets her way, you'll be up against a four-person alliance, maybe even five if Brandon decides to choose safety over you! But if you vote with me, we can join the Chickens, and we can force someone like King out next vote. Plus, I've got tons of info on others I can give you for an advantage!"
"Hmmm..." Sasha thought about what Timothy said, "You do make a good argument... but I still have to think about it."
Timothy took a deep breath, "Ok, ok, I trust that you'll make the right decision." Timothy ran off and left Sasha by her lonesome.
Sasha grinned to herself and shook her head, "They both need my help, but it's obvious who's the proper person to vote out..."
Confessional: Timothy
Timothy's hands were shaking nervously "Alright... I asked the other Chickens for assistance, minus King of course, and Flora confirmed to me that she begged Kodi and Will to reconsider..."
Confessional: Melissa
"Flora will make the right choice I know it." Melissa rolled up her sweatshirt's sleeves, "Timothy's not going to slither by any longer..."
Confessional: Timothy
"Maybe I'll get her out..."
Confessional: Melissa
"Maybe I'll be the one voted out..."
Confessional: Timothy
"But if there's anything I know for certain..."
Confessional: Melissa
"No matter what happens next..."
Confessional: Timothy and Melissa
"One of us is going down!" The two shouted as their confessionals played in unison.
Confessionals Over
"Welcome to the first vote of the merge, Malihinis!" Drew greeted the contestants as he held up a key chain in the shape of a baby, "You guys know the drill of how eliminations work well by now, so let's just get this all over with. As winners of our challenge, Van and Kaito are granted immunity for being the only two people here I'd trust my kids with."
"Alright Kae-Kae! We did a great job today!" Van punched Kaito in the shoulder, with the astrophile giving a slight smile in response.
Kaito nodded, "I suppose we did..."
"Beatrice!"
Beatrice caught her keychain out of the air.
"Brandon!"
Brandon smiled and caught his keychain.
"Kodi!"
Kodi looked extremely guilty as he let the keychain hit the floor.
"Sasha!"
Sasha looked content with who she voted for.
"Will!"
Like Kodi, Will looked guilty about who he chose to vote for.
"Paige!"
"Woohoo!" Paige cheered as she jumped up and caught the key chain.
"Flora!"
Flora was anxiously sitting and waiting for the outcome of the vote to come by.
"Now here we are with the final three remaining contestants... all of you got votes... but only one will be leaving today." Drew smirked at the three who remained, "Will it be King, Melissa, or Timothy? Well, I've seen the votes and I can say for certain... King is safe!"
King raised an eyebrow at the outcome but shook his head and got up and walked away.
Drew let out a laugh, "Now look what we have here. Quite the dramatic final two, I sure wonder who will-"
"GET ON WITH IT!" Melissa and Timothy both yelled at Drew.
Drew jumped back in surprise, "Yeesh! Ok! Don't have to be so pushy about it! Ahem, the person who will be leaving today is none other than..."

"...Timothy! Sorry, but your reign of snooping ends here!" Drew tossed a keychain to Melissa.
Melissa let out a sigh of relief as she caught her keychain.
"Figured," Timothy muttered as he looked down at the ground.
"Don't wanna add insult to injury or anything," Drew began, "But uh, you missed the mark by just one little vote! Sorry." Drew shrugged and grinned at Timothy's misfortune
Timothy got up and kept his head down as he got up, "Can I just say something before I leave?"
"Yeah, but make it quick. We don't got all day." Drew pretended to look at a watch.
Timothy looked up and turned to the other contestants, "You all... ARE THE WORST PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!" Timothy suddenly yelled at the rest of the contestants, causing some of them to jump back in surprise of his sudden anger, "Oh where do I even begin with you? Let's start with you two over there!" Timothy pointed at Kodi and Will, "Thanks Kodi, you acted all friendly to me before, but I guess all it takes is a little suggestion from Melissa to ruin all faith you had in me, and Will, what the hell man? I was the only person not to vote for Alex! But you're gonna side with the people who voted him out in the first place!? That nice act from you two is all bullshit! You just side with whoever's convenient for you!"
"I..." Kodi looked down and accepted Timothy's rant.
"Can he just go-" Melissa began but was cut off by Timothy.
Timothy let out a loud cough to cut off Melissa, "Don't you interrupt me! It's not your turn yet so sit down!" Timothy ordered Melissa before looking over at Beatrice and Brandon, "You two... Oh, I can't even think of what to say about you... you're like... nothing! I can't even think of anything important relating to you two! Just extra votes that can go into Melissa's pocket!"
Beatrice crossed her arms, "I feel like that's just untrue and you know it."
Timothy ignored Beatrice and looked around for King, "Where is that stupid- Agh! Whatever! Here's a little fun tidbit to tell you guys while he's not here, King doesn't even vote for anyone! He just votes for himself every time he has to choose someone to vote for! I guess I could also rant about how much he sucks like the rest of you, but what could I say about him? Take Beatrice and Brandon's nothingness and multiply it by like... a million! I don't even think the man has had an actual confessional yet! He's practically a walking reward challenge! Like seriously, outside of like... three things, what has that man even done here?"
Flora shivered, "Timothy, you should really calm down."
"Aw Flora don't worry about it I just gotta let some anger out real quick." Timothy's voice returned to a calm tone before Timothy then turned to Melissa, "Oh... you..." Timothy clenched his fist, "You are just the worst person here, you know that? I helped carry our damn team Melissa and you threw me out the moment you got a chance! Well guess what? Fuck you!" Timothy flipped off Melissa, "You and your stupid 'oh Timothy snoops around too much, I'm gonna try to rope Elizabeth into getting everyone else to vote him off next time we lose a merge challenge'! I hope to god someone else here see's through your schemes next time and gets rid of you, because you're just as bad as I am, but you can't even see it!" Timothy then stormed off to the elimination floater.
Melissa groaned, "Finally he's-"
"AND ANOTHER THING!" Timothy suddenly stormed back to the group, "I had so much I could've helped you with with my cameras, but you didn't even wanna give me a chance. Well to prove I'm the bigger man I'm gonna give you all one last secret before I leave!" Timothy changed his focus Sasha, "Hey, Sasha, you're about to regret betraying me really badly! You wanna know why?" Timothy then looked over at the rest of the group and yelled as loud as he could, "SASHA HAS THE IMMUNITY IDOL!"
Sasha's eyes widened in response to the reveal as other contestants looked over at her.
"Ohohoho! There's your karma Sasha! I wasn't gonna reveal it initially because I knew I'd just make myself a target to you and because I decided to listen to Flora's advice about not revealing other's secrets. Well sorry Flora, but I'm gonna have to break that promise all because of you Sasha!" Timothy pointed at Sasha, "I hope whatever strategy you had planned with that idol crumbles to dust!" Timothy began walking away while flipping everyone off, "Screw you all and the horses you rode in on! I'm out!" Timothy walked off before turning around and walking back, "The floater's over here!" Timothy walked into the floater while Flora followed him.
"Timothy wait!" Flora ran after her friend before he got in the floater and hugged him, "I'm sorry... I tried to get them to change their minds." Flora looked down at the ground as she pulled away.
Instead of Timothy saying anything, he responded by hugging Flora back, "Yeah..." Timothy gave a slight smile as he let go, "I know..."
"Maybe Drew will let me get eliminated in your place! Then you can try to mend things with Melissa and apologize for what you s-" Flora began but was interrupted by Timothy before she could finish.
Timothy grinned, "Hell to the no!" Timothy took off his sunglasses and handed them to Flora, "You're gonna win this season, so don't quit now when it's your time to shine! I'll be rooting for you every second I'm off the show, so don't go and disappoint me! Also, if you ever get the chance, get rid of Melissa for my sake!" Timothy told Flora as he hopped in the floater.
Flora teared up a bit and called out to Timothy, "I will win! For both of us!" Flora kept waving goodbye until eventually, Timothy was no longer visible. Flora wiped away her tears and put on Timothy's sunglasses, "I promise..."
FreshmEn:
Zoryan El Muerto: No eggs were harmed in the making of this challenge... except the ones I used to make this omlette.
Reasoning For Elimination: And there goes our favorite tattletale. Timothy proved to be a very fun character to write, but his relationship with Melissa meant that one of them had to go eventually, and Timothy was the short end of the stick. While there are ways to justify Timothy staying over Melissa, he'd be the one getting eliminated more often than not. So we decided to get rid of him in the early merge part, especially since Melissa and Timothy's rivalry was meant as a pre-merge plotline, not something that would last very long in the merge.
Current Merge Cast: Beatrice, Brandon, Flora, Kaito, King, Kodi, Melissa, Paige, Sasha, Vanessa, Will
Vote Tally:
Timothy: Melissa, Kodi, Will, Beatrice, Brandon, Sasha
Melissa: Timothy, Flora, Kaito, Van, Paige
King: King
Voting Confessionals:
Beatrice sighed and shook her head, "We really should be voting for one of the Chickens, but I did say I'd vote for Timothy or Melissa depending on whoever asked first."
"I checked with Sasha if voting Timothy was the best play strategically since I'm not really that good at that sort of stuff, and she said it'll pay off, so I trust her." Brandon shrugged as he stamped Timothy's picture
"Come on Timothy! You can make it through!" Flora stamped Melissa's picture.
"The miracle is here!" Kaito sighed in relief, "All we need is for Sasha to vote for Melissa and it's game, set, match!"
You know the drill by now, King went in the confessional, voted himself, and then left.
Kodi shook as he stamped Timothy's picture, "Oh... forgive me you two! But no matter what I choose I'm betraying someone!"
Melissa scoffed, "People like Timothy don't change. He's just pretending to have stopped so he can go back to his antics as soon as I'm gone. Well, I'm not falling for it!"
Paige was sharpening an arrow as she stamped Melissa's picture, "Kaito said that our best strategic move was to vote Melissa so gotta vote her!"
"It may seem like an incorrect choice to vote for Timothy over Melissa at first," Sasha smirked, "However, I want things to go according to my plans... and there's no room for Timothy in those."
Timothy didn't say anything, all he did was stamp Melissa's picture a bunch of times.
"Well," Van sighed, "I'm still a little iffy about having to work with Sasha, especially with how she talks when I'm thinking about Kaito, but I'd rather just get it over with now than try to complain about it."
Will briefly held his stamp over both Timothy and Melissa's photos before stamping Timothy, "Sorry Tim."
