Buck can be seen tinkering with a little custom-built alarm clock at picnic table near the bar on the island. "I think if I just tighten this piece a bit..." The clock then makes a really loud high pitched noise as Buck quickly turns it off, "Errryup! That'll definitely wake me up when I need it to!" Buck winces from the loud noise as Flora walks over to him with a stuffed teddy bear.
"Hey Buck!" Flora greets him by waving the teddy bear's arm.
Buck waves back, "Heya Flora, didya need something?"
"Yeah!" Flora shows him the teddy bear, "I wanted to see if you could... tech this bear out!"
Buck looks at the bear, "Uh, I could, yeah, but why would you need a robotic teddy bear?"
Flora shows him a drawing of her plans for the bear, "I wanted to make a teddy bear that hugs people back when they hug it, and then I wanted to give it to Kodi! I think he could really use a hug or two after the past few episodes!"
Buck laughs, "Well I suppose I could work on something like that. It does sound like a pretty sweet gift for a friend."
"Oh thank you thank you thank you!" Flora giggles with excitement as we cut to a montage of Buck making the stuffed bear.
Buck puts on a pair of gloves and activates a drill before going to work on the bear. He can be seen welding two pieces together for some reason before he pulls out a giant battery and puts it in the bear, "Yep... that'll do!"
Buck is now hammering a giant sheet of metal for some reason as the bear lays on its side in the background... maybe he was working on something else.
"It needs some of these." Buck grabs a hot glue gun and some nails and can be seen hot-gluing nails to something off screen.
"Oh, and some of these!" Buck starts duct taping another roll of duct tape for some reason... does he even know what he's doing? Buck pants as he finishes up what he's working on before he steps out of the montage and presents it to Flora
"Tada!" Buck presents the most horrific Teddy Bear ever seen, seeing as it was just a mess of metal pieces stuck together. There was a bear underneath under all the metal, but it had a very... Harlqn Ellison to it. "So..." Buck drops the teddy bear in front of Flora, "What do ya think? Beautiful isn't it?"
Flora stops for a moment, "Well... it's certainly a unique design for a teddy bear."
Buck holds back a laugh, "Really?"
"Y-Yeah! I'm sure Kodi will still love this, he'll just have to avoid poking himself! Ow!" Flora accidentally touches a nail's end.
"Well if you're fine with that one, I suppose I can just throw this one away." Buck reveals the actual item Flora wanted, it being a cute lavender teddy bear with an animatronic inside of it.
"I'll take that one!" Flora grabs the lavender bear.
Buck laughs, "Yeah, that's what I figured. But I wanted to see how you'd react to that first."
Flora hugs the teddy bear as it hugs her back, "Thank you Buck! Kodi's gonna love this!" Flora gets up, "I'm gonna give it to him as a gift when we make it to the final five!"
Buck waves as she runs off before he whistles and picks the metal bear off the ground, "I can think of a use for this... quite the prank to use on Mitch."
Buck hides the bear in his toolbox before heading off to prank Mitch.
