(HunterHQ asked: "Any chance super/awakened dinosaurs would feature or even Alpha dinosaurs too like Irritator is one?"

Short answer: No. The Alpha Gang are now allies to the D-Team, so it wouldn't make sense if they create Alpha versions of their dinosaurs with no purpose. But that doesn't mean this was Irritator's last appearance ;)… I hate using the winky face.

HunterHQ also asked about returning characters like Ungaro… We'll see. I have plans for Ungaro and Amy will be present whenever the D-Team's in school. I MIGHT have an idea for Dewey tho, no plans on Meena from India and Mary from the rangers yet. But an idea is lingering in the back of my head for Mary nonetheless.

Anyway, these chapters will probably be long. Like 10k+ words long… Hope it's alright with you guys. Back to work!)

In a forest somewhere in Quebec, Canada, a fire pit could be seen along with three pitched up tents with occupants inside. A raccoon rummaged through a trash bag, making a mess of everything as it tried to find something to eat. It suddenly popped out, revealing itself to be holding a dinosaur card capsule, biting it thinking it was an egg. The capsule suddenly broke as a single card fell out of it where it came into contact with the fire, resulting in it being activated.

A bright red glow illuminated the area as a carnivorous dinosaur about the size of a T-Rex and looked similar to it appeared. This was the next best thing to a T-Rex, this was a Giganotosaurus. Upon seeing the large dinosaur in front of it, the raccoon immediately ran off, scared of the creature it had never seen. The Giganotosaurus looked around, curious and baffled as to where it was, before it began walking away, hunger entering its mind.

Meanwhile, an orange tabby cat with a collar can be seen licking itself in the woods, unaware of the danger it would soon be in. The cat's heightened hearing picked up a sound, instantly alerting it as its back fur began to raise. The cat hissed and growled at a bush, hoping that it would scare off whatever was in it. Unfortunately, it didn't, as a cougar lunged out of the bush and pinned the cat down with its claws as it hovered its jaws at the cat's throat, ready to kill it. At that moment however, a pair of dinosaur legs stepped on the ground, causing the two felines to end their scuffle as they looked up. There, they saw the Giganotosaurus looking down at them, it's razor sharp teeth coated in drool visible as the two cats could do nothing but look up in terror. To be fair, he cougar did made an attempt to scare off the carnivore as it hissed and roared at it, only to turn out that it was a huge mistake as the Giganotosaurus roared back before lowering its jaws at its prey, the sound of flesh tearing and bones crushing was heard afterwards.

"Emma! Come on out! Where are you?!" shouts a little girl from her backyard. At that moment, the same orange tabby cat from earlier came running out of the forest and into the girl's arms. "Emma! Don't do that! I told you to never go in there! It's dangerous in there! Are you hurt?! You're bleeding!"

At that moment, the crying and whimpering and screeching sounds could be heard from the unlucky cougar inside the forest before a loud CRUNCH! sound was heard afterwards, silencing the crying and whimpering. Whether it was symbolism or just a plain coincidence, rain began pouring down onto the earth below while the little girl quickly ran inside with her pet cat, who learned a lesson and would never ever go out again, knowing how dangerous it was out there. Meanwhile, an SUV fitted with a sunroof sat eerily outside of a suburban house, where two men were inside, staring creepingly at the house in front of them as rain poured down their windshield.

"You sure this is the house, Jaren?" asks one of the men.

"Sure, I'm sure, Evan." says the other man known as Jaren. "Trust me, this lady is so loaded, her toaster would set you up for five years. That's just the toaster, think of the TV!"

"Or her car." says Evan in a happy tone. "You got the crowbar?"

"You bet I do. Nothing's gonna stop us. Mansion, Lamborghini, hot tub. Here I come." At that moment, they heard a booming sound as the ground slightly shook, initially confusing Jaren at the moment. "Did you feel that?"

"Ah, it's probably just a tremor." Evan disregarded as he pulled out a ski mask from his pocket.

The booming sound returned as the ground shook a little once again before doing it a third time. "Okay, that's not a tremor." Jaren tells his ally.

The booming sound returned as the ground shook some more, prompting the two to look around to figure out where the sounds were coming from. Jaren suddenly looked to the dashboard as the ground shook again before the future burglar slapped his comrade's arm to gain his attention. When he did, he pointed to the glass of water on the dashboard; the ground shook some more as the booming sound returned as the water in the glass rippled.

"The power didn't go out, did it?" Evan asks his friend, getting slightly scared of what was happening.

Before the two men could even exit their car, something fell on top of the sunroof, resulting in a loud THUD! sound being heard in the area. The two men were startled at the sound as they looked up, only to grow shocked looks, gasping when they realized it was the bloody, dismembered leg of the cougar from earlier as lightning struck and thunder boomed in the sky. The two looked outside to see the Giganotosaurus in the trees, growling idling before swallowing what was left of the cougar before eerily staring at the two men, a sinister 'smile' on its face.

"Floor it, man!" Jaren shouts as Evan slammed the gas pedal.

"Screw this! We'll get this bitch later!" Evan shouts as he drives down the street as fast as he could, no doubt alerting the neighbors.

The Giganotosaurus watched as the car sped through the neighborhood before disappearing around the corner; the large carnivorous dinosaur then turned around and walked deeper into the forest, going to look for what it needed next.

Dinosaur King: Prehistoric Peril

A small building could be seen next to a large dig site as heavy rain poured from the heavens and onto the earth below. Lightning struck somewhere in the area as thunder clapped in the air, illuminating the small building as lights were shown to be on through the windows.

"Man, it's rainin' out there reeeeaaaaaal hawrd." Max observes, mispronouncing the word 'hard' for humor.

"I can't believe my sister and your dad were invited to lead the paleontological dig site all the out here in Canada." Zoe says, sitting in a chair with Paris in her lap.

"To be fair, they wanted Dr. Owen but he's all the way down in Brazil for a vacation." Rex says as Ace paced back and forth nervously.

"What's wrong with Ace?" Max asks, looking at Ace panicking a bit.

Rex looked down at his partner with a sympathetic look on his face. "He's still afraid of the water and I don't think the storm isn't helping either." Rex answers.

"Poor Ace. I know how he feels. Storms used to terrify me as a kid." Zoe says, petting Paris whom yawned while sleeping on her lap.

"Me and Chomp aren't afraid. Aren't we Chomp?" Max went to look down at his partner before noticing the lack of said partner. "Chomp?" He suddenly looked over to the table, where Chomp was hiding under, a scared expression on his face.

"It seems Chomp isn't that keen on storms either." Rex observes with a sly smile.

"It's too bad they had to cancel the excavation because of the storm." Zoe says aloud, looking out at the open field.

"They're expecting it to leave by this morning. Hopefully it'll go by then."

"Hey, Zoe. Where's your sister by the way?" Max suddenly asks.

"She's back at the trailers we drove out here. Says she's working on something new for us." Zoe answers.

"Ooooh, I hope we get a share too!" says a voice from the entrance.

The D-Team turned to the door entrance of the small hut they were staying at to see the Alpha Gang, soaking wet from the rain. "I hope it's waterproof clothes because I'm soaked like a wet dog." Zander says, his two strands of hair still standing and defying gravity.

"I don't think Reese is making anything for you guys. You'll probably just break whatever she makes in a week anyway." Mac says in an annoyed tone, somewhat glaring at the trio.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Ursula asks, annoyed at Max's accusation.

"I'm just saying anything you touch breaks is all. Those inventions that crazy doctor makes explode all the time, don't they?" Max asks, raising an eyebrow at the trio.

"Not all the time. Sometimes they work like they're intended." Ed shyly defended his boss.

"Yeah, about 1% of the time." Zander clarified on the short man's defense.

"Well 1% is better than no percent, right?" Ed asks, a pathetic attempt of a defense.

"What're you guys doing here anyway?" Max asks the gang, irritated that they had showed up, their mere presence already ruining the mood.

"For your information, brat, it's raining harder out there than the Amazon Jungle we went to capture that Saltasaurus two years ago! So excuse us for wanting shelter from the rain!" Ursula shouts at Max, pointing her finger at him.

"Not the rain! I meant here in general!" Max angrily clarifies.

"Oh." Ursula calmly says, feeling rather foolish for the misunderstanding.

"Dr. Z brought us here when he offered to help out your dad with the dig site." Zander explains to the teenaged trio.

"Yeah, and we have never been to a paleontological dig site before with real dinosaur fossils! We weren't going to miss out on it at all! I've always wanted to go to a dig site!" Ed happily exclaims.

"You sound like a child." Max harshly responds.

"You didn't have to be so mean." Ed replies in a depressed tone.

"Heeeeey! Making Ed sad is our job- Hold on a minute, that didn't come out right." Ursula says, trying to correct herself.

"The old lady's right, Max." Zoe suddenly says aloud to her friend.

"Hey!" Ursula yells in the background.

"You didn't have to be so rude to the poor guy. I wanted to go to a dig site too, you know. Would that make me a child?"

"Zoe, you ARE a child." Max replies in a 'know-it-all' tone.

"I'm a teenager! There's a difference!" Zoe yells back.

"Why would Dr. Z want to help Max's dad anyway? No offense, but he doesn't seem like the type to go out of his way to help somebody." Rex says to the Alpha Trio.

"You couldn't be even more right if you could." Zander replies.

"Helga made him go as part of his 'redemption quest' she has us doing." Ursula replies.

"But I don't want to go help that brat's dad!" Dr. Z defied like a child. "I want to stay here and create more move cards! Ideas have been spiraling in my head for weeks now! I've GOT to get them out before my Alzheimer's kicks in! Wait, what were we talking about again?"

"Nein! You vill go to ze digsite und help that doctor with digging up those dirty old bones! Othervise I vill have to rip up zis new move card you had just made." Helga emphasized the threat by holding a Grass move card.

"No! Not Vine Wrap! Please, Helga! I'll go to the digsite! Just don't rip up that card! PLE-E-E-E-EEEEEEEEEEEASE!" Dr. Z broke down, now begging for the sake of the move card as he got on his knees and prayed.

"That was probably the most saddest and embarrassing thing I have ever witnessed since Ed's 12th's birthday." Ursula points out.

"Nobody even came. I had a dinosaur piñata and a dinosaur cake and everything." Ed adds on in a depressed tone, a single tear escaping his eye.

This single statement instantly silenced the two groups, with both of them staring at Ed with awkward expressions while Ed depressingly stared at the ground. "I like piñatas." Max randomly comments.

Outside in the woods, lightning struck the ground as thunder clapped in the air, as a large bear roamed the forest, soaking wet from the rain, in search of a cave to hide from it. As it walked in the forest, it caught the scent of an unknown creature it had never smelt before, slightly alerting it but knew it was the apex predator of the woods so had nothing to fear about. That is, until a pair of giant prehistoric jaws snatched the bear up from it's spot, the sounds of bones crushing, fleshing tearing, the bear's roars of pain being heard afterwards. As the Giganotosaurus had just snatched up another snack, it's tail had accidentally struck a generator that powered the dig site, completely destroying it as the power went off.

The small building the two groups were in suddenly went pitch black, the lights losing power due to the broken generator before someone let out a loud, girly shriek in the dark. "Calm down, Zoe. The power just went out." Max says to his friend in the dark.

"That wasn't me, Max." Zoe answers.

"Sorry. I'm scared of the dark." Zander apologizes afterwards.

Rex turned on a flashlight beside the table, slightly lighting up the dark building they were in. "The generator must've gone off." Rex theorizes.

"You think it's from the storm?" Max asks his friend.

"Maybe."

"Maybe lightning struck a tree and it fell on the generator?" Zoe guesses.

"Is anyone out in the forest, maybe they heard a noise." Ed says aloud.

"Hold on, I'll call my dad to see if he knows what happened." Max suggests, turning his head towards the phone. He picked up the phone and placed it in his ear, only to just realize that it was dead thanks to the power. "Right, no power." he says, placing the phone back.

"I'll call Dr. Z." Ed takes charge, pulling up his cellphone.

He began dialing Dr. Z's phone number, placing the phone at his ear as the dial tone was heard afterwards. ~The fingers you have used to dial are too fat.~ the automated voice says over the phone.

"Aww." Ed says in a defeated tone, staring solemnly at the floor below.

"Great. Where's Dr. Z when you need him?" Ursula asks no one in particular in annoyance.

"Yeah, where's my dad as well?" Max asks, concerned for his father.

"I'm telling you this leaf blower is the best thing ever to bring to a dinosaur dig site!" Dr. Z yells at Spike, a leaf blower on his back.

"And I'm telling you that it won't! You'll just damage the fossils!" Spike yells at the mad scientist.

"With what?! Hot air?! Which one?! The one coming out of my leaf blower or your mouth?!" Dr. Z shouts at Spike, getting close to his face.

Spike pushed his face back into Dr. Z, their noses now touching each other as they angrily flared at each other's eyes. "Watch your tone you crazy scientist! I won't hesitate to kick you out of this site right this minute!" Spike yells at the short, old man.

"Hesitate this!"

Dr. Z suddenly blew the leaf blower right into Spike's face, prompting him to turn his head away for protection while trying to grab said leaf blower. The two ended up in a scuffle, the fight for the leaf blower growing more and more intense by the second. During the struggle, Dr. Z had pushed a small lever on the leaf blower as it suddenly stopped, ceasing the two's argument and fight before the doctor realized what was coming next.

"Uh oh." he says, terror in his voice.

The leaf blower suddenly began blowing air violently as the two shot up right through the building, making a hole in it as they sky rocketed into the clouds.

"WHY WOULD THEY MAKE THAT BUTTON DO THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Dr. Z shouted into the air.

"I WANT MY MOMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Spike sobbed out loud.

"ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo…"

Soon, the two disappeared into the clouds, followed by a twinkle in the sky.

The door to the small building the two teams were in suddenly opened, revealing to be Max wearing a yellow raincoat as he stepped outside. "We should go check the generator and see what the problem is." he announces before turning around. "Chomp, I want you and the others to stay here. It's not safe outside in the storm for you three."

In response, Chomp, Ace, and Paris all 'barked' in agreement, not wanting to even step outside either way due to being afraid of the storm. "Good idea, Max. I'm coming too." Rex says as he steps out also, wearing a raincoat as well.

"Max with a good idea? That's a first." Zoe teased with a sly smile on her face, also wearing a raincoat. "Wait for me guys. I'm coming too!"

"We're coming too!" the Alpha Trio announces as they step outside, all wearing raincoats.

"Nu-uh! You're staying here!" Max orders them, annoyance in his tone. "I don't trust you guys to come along. You'll probably end up breaking the generator even IF it wasn't broken. That way you could steal our dinosaur cards and leave in the rain!"

"Oh boy. This again." Zoe says, tired of Max's paranoia.

"Get real, twerp! If we wanted to get those cards we would've done so already!" Ursula yells back at Max, also getting tired of his attitude.

"Yeah, and besides, Dr. Z doesn't want your cards anymore! Since we're no longer racing for cards, he doesn't have a need to have all of them! In fact, you should really feel grateful that he let you keep those cards!" Zander shouts, defending his adoptive father.

"For your information, those are Dr. Ancient's cards! Not Dr. Z's!" Max shouts back, anger fueling his systems.

"I mean, you're both right but okay." Rex says aloud in between with a monotone voice.

"Can't we argue later? I'm starting to feel scared out here in the rain. I could really use my blankie and stuffed dinosaur right about now." Ed tells the group, hiding behind Ursula as he looks in every direction.

Once again, the group grew silent upon the man's childish, and quite frankly, pathetic statement, giving him awkward looks in response. "Ed, did you get seriously depressed when you went back to the future because now I'm actually concerned for your mental heath." Zoe asks the chubby man, a concerned look on his face.

"Times have been tough." Ed sadly replies with a frown.

"You guys still aren't coming along!" Max firmly tells the group.

"Like we're gonna take orders from some bratty teenager." Ursula replies, anger in her voice.

Thunder suddenly clapped right above them, loud enough for everyone to become startled as Rex flinched upon hearing the thunder. "Max, just let them come along. We're just walking to the generator anyway." Rex tells his friend.

"We don't have time for this. Come on, guys. Let's go." Ursula tells her two colleagues.

Max watched the Alpha Trio walk passed them, a glare on his face as he refused to take his eyes off of them, expecting they might pull a trick or something. "Max." Zoe suddenly says behind him, prompting him to turn around. "Give it a rest, alright? You're just going to tire yourself out."

"Yeah, and besides, the Alpha Gang aren't that bad anymore." Rex adds on, defending their once enemies.

"It almost sounds like you trust them, Rex." Max replies, a skeptical look on his face.

Rex had a more nervous and hesitant expression as he avoided eye contact. "Weeeeeeell…"

Max didn't need to hear the rest of his answer to know what he was about to say. "You can't be serious!" Max yells in disbelief. "You're out of your mind! You are absolutely out of your mind! Zoe, tell him he's crazy for trusting the Alpha Gang!"

Zoe rubbed her shoulder, a hesitant expression also on her face as she too avoided eye contact. "Sorry, Max." she apologizes.

It wasn't hard for Max to connect the dots, but this is Max we were talking about, so it was like winning the Nobel Prize in his head. "OH COME ON!" he shouts.

"Max," Rex begins to say. "you don't know the Alpha Gang like I do. Ever since we went back to the future, they have been trying really hard to redeem themselves. Don't tell them I said this, but even Dr. Z has given up his dream of becoming the Dinosaur King."

"Woah! Really?" Zoe asks, astonished by the sudden change from the dinosaur obsessed doctor.

Rex nodded in response. "Hm-mm." he confirms. "He says he doesn't have enough years left and doesn't want to spend them being obsessed with a wild fantasy. He wants to be a better grandpa to Rod and Laura… that and he said he could always visit the prehistoric times with the Backland II anytime he wants to, and these are his words by the way, not mine, 'technically, I'm already the dinosaur king'. Then again, this is Dr. Z we're talking about, so half the time if it's not nonsense rambling, it's just nonsense in general."

"Can confirm!" Zander shouts from the distance.

"Yeah, Max." Zoe agrees. "I mean, I don't trust them either… to an extent, but I can still at least see that they're trying to be good so you gotta give them that, right? Give credit when it's due."

"You guys may trust them but I don't." Max tells them. "I'm going to keep an eye on them, make sure they don't do anything. I'm doing this for the dinosaurs, so they don't fall in the wrong hands. I'll do what it takes to protect them no matter what."

"And what happens if you can't?" Rex asks his friend.

Max suddenly turns around, beginning to walk towards the generator's direction. "Then I'll do what I can to make things right." he says, walking away.

Rex and Zoe turned to each other, concerned for their friend and annoyed by his paranoia and stubbornness before following him deeper into the woods.

Thunder clapped in the air once more as the destroyed generator was illuminated thanks to the lightning that struck the sky. "No wonder the power went out! The generator is totaled!" Max exclaims in frustration.

"A car must've crashed into it." Ursula theorizes.

"Who would be driving in a storm like this though?" Rex asks, confused on how the generator got smashed.

"Maybe they were caught up in it." Zoe theorizes as well.

"Or under the influence." Ed adds his own theory.

"Well whatever happened, this generator looks more totaled than Mr. Drake's car when Zoe drove it for the first time." Max compares the two situations.

"That cyclist was in my blind spot and crossed the street when my light was green! It was his fault!" Zoe shouts, still angry about the unseen incident.

"I guess that means we're not going to have power for the rest of the trip. We're going to have to cancel it I think." Rex sadly tells the group.

"No need for that, Rex!" Zander suddenly spoke up in a giddy tone.

"Yeah! We'll get Dr. Z to create a new generator for us!" Ursula adds with enthusiasm.

"One that won't blow up this time!" Ed says, an attempt at trying to make the situation better.

"No way, guys! Dr. Z will probably destroy the whole dig site instead of bringing the power back on." Max harshly tells the trio.

"Hey! That's only… a quarter right… give or take." Ed responds, losing confidence half way.

"Alright, kid, I've held my tongue all day but now you're just testing my patience you little brat!" Ursula shouts at Max, her annoyance boiled into anger

"Yeah! What will it take for you to trust us?!" Zander shouts, clenching his fist at him.

"You want to know what'll take for me to trust you?" Max rhetorically asks. "Nothing! Nothing you will ever do will get me to trust you! You're the Alpha Gang, stealing dinosaur cards for that mad scientist of yours so he can hurt them and become the 'dinosaur king'!"

"Max, I already explained to you inside! You know that's not true!" Rex exclaims, not wanting a fight to embark in the middle of the rain.

"Look," Ursula begins to say, rubbing her forehead with her fingers. "I know we were enemies two years ago, and kind of allies back when the Space Pirates were taking the Cosmo Stones."

"And our parents." Zoe adds from behind.

"Right, and your parents. But now there isn't a reason for us to even fight and race for anything for that matter! The only reason why Dr. Z even wants the cards in the first place is because they're his cards… Mostly Dr. Ancient but he still helped create them. I know he may come off as uncaring, especially with those 'secret' dinosaurs but deep down, Dr. Z really loves dinosaurs and would do anything just to save them. Yeah, he went to extreme measures two years ago but this is Dr. Z we're talking about. Everything is extreme with him. But since we're not racing for those cards, we don't have any reason to steal them or take them for ourselves. Meaning, there's no reason to distrust us! So why do you still not trust us?!"

"Why? These guys. Why?! Because I gotta! That's why!" Max yells back. "All those times two years ago, you have almost killed us! Hell, even NOW you have almost killed us! Remember that cave-in back in Montana two days ago?!"

"That- That was Ed's fault and he apologized." Ursula defends the chubby man.

"Oh? Oh, so we're apologizing now. Well how about you get that crazy doctor of yours to apologize for hurting all those dinosaurs with those Alpha Controllers and forcing them to become warriors or something!"

"He is! Why do you think he's on this redemption quest of his?! Helga may have forced him to do it but he's still trying his best to become a better person!" Ursula shouts back.

"You don't know him like we do!" Zander joins in on the defense.

"Yeah! What they said!" Ed chimes in, not knowing how to properly chime in.

"Oh yeah?! Well-"

"ENOUGH!" Rex shouts, stopping the quarreling. "This is ridiculous! We're arguing out here in the middle of a storm! Can this wait for just a few seconds before we go back inside?! Max, just let it go! All of this 'not trusting them' stuff is getting on my nerves!"

"Honestly, Max… I kind of trust the Alpha Gang more than you at this moment." Zoe nervously admits.

"What?!" Max shouts in utter disbelief.

"Seconded. What the hell?" Zander questions, also not believing what he had just heard.

"Max, let's just drop it, okay? It's not healthy for you. The sooner you learn to trust them, the sooner you'll learn they're actually trying to be good guys." Zoe tells her friend.

"Yes! Score 1 for the Alpha Gang!" Zander celebrates.

"That still doesn't mean you can date my sister." Zoe says with squinted eyes in a dark tone.

"Awww." Zander responds in a depressing tone, looking down at the ground as Ed rubbed his back for comfort.

"I'm just looking out for you guys." Max tells the group. "They're the Alpha Gang, they're known to do these things. The word 'gang' is in their name! They even call themselves villainous henchmen for crying out loud! You know how badly the doctor treated those dinosaurs. The Styracosaurus, the Ceratosaurus, the Utahraptor! Do you remember that Acrocanthosaurus that almost burned our town?!"

"I still think it was dumb of you to use 'blaze' when you summoned him, Zander." Ursula tells her comrade.

"If it makes you feel better, I thought of using 'Burn up' since then." Zander replies with a sly smile, liking the new summoning call.

"That's even worse!"

"That Saurophaganax that Seth forced to 'evolve' so he could use that new move!" Max continues.

"That's not fair, Max! The Alpha Gang had nothing to do with what Seth planned! Right?" Zoe asks the team.

"Yeah! Even Dr. Z didn't like the idea of forcing dinosaurs to evolve!" Ursula adds on.

"See?"

Max growled in anger before stomping his foot on the ground. "Why am I being made the bad guy here?! Can't you see I'm just trying to make sure these guys won't steal our cards?!" he yells at everyone.

"Well you don't have to keep constantly breathing down our backs while doing so, you know!" Ursula shouts.

"How many times do we have to tell you, Max?! They're not trying to steal back the CAAAARDS!" Zoe shouts into the air.

Right when she did so, lightning struck a tree, completely snapping it in half like a toothpick as it started to fall down towards the group. "LOOK OUT!" Rex shouts.

"TIMBEEEEEEEEEEEER!" Ed shouts as well.

All six of them jumped out of the way right on time as the tree fell right where they were standing, smashing the already destroyed generator, now making it impossible to fix if it wasn't before. As they did so, Max had accidentally banged his Dino-Bracer on a rock, severely damaging it as the rest of the D-Team got their bracers covered in mud. Thunder clapped once more as everyone groaned in pain down below, their raincoats covered in mud as each of them picked themselves up.

"Is everyone alright?" Rex asks, rubbing his arm.

"Yeah. I think so." Max replies.

"How about you guys?"

"Oh, we're used to these kinds of things. We're pretty much immune to pain at this point." Zander responds nonchalantly. Immediately afterwards, a tree branch fell right on top of him. "OOF! Spoke too soon." he groans under his breath.

Right at that moment, Zoe shrieked louder than the thunder, prompting everyone to immediately turn their attention to her. "Zoe! What happened?!" Rex asks, worried about his friend.

"I think I sprained my wrist in the fall! Augh! It hurts!" she exclaims in pain, tightly gripping her wrist.

Max quickly ran up to her, getting on his knee to help her up as he took a look at her wrist, gently caressing it to feel if it was sprained. Sure enough, it was. "This needs to be taken care of immediately." he says.

"How? The nearest city is miles away." Zoe replies, not knowing what to do.

"There's a first aid kit back at the trailer we drove over here. You guys can head over there." Rex suggests.

"Good idea. We'll take a jeep to get there." Max replies.

"No dice, kid. The jeep's out of fuel. That's the reason why we came to you guys in the first place was to get more fuel." Zander replies.

"Ugh! You guys are useless!" Max shouts in frustration. "Fine! I'll take Zoe to the trailer. I'll bring Chomp with us for safety." Max went to call back Chomp as he pressed a few buttons on his Bracer, only to realize it wasn't responding. "Damn it!"

"What's wrong?" Zoe asks.

"My Dino-Bracer is broken! Must have been from all the mud and the fall." he says.

"You're right. Mine is out too." Rex confirms as his Bracer wasn't responding as well.

"Mine too!" Zoe joins in, her Bracer covered in mud.

"That's great. Out in a dense forest in the middle of the night in a storm no less all alone with no protection. Could things get any worse?" Max rhetorically asks.

"You could use Terry or one of our dinos for protection." Ed innocently suggests.

"It just got worse." Max replies, ignoring his suggestion. "Come on, Zoe. Let's just get you to that trailer as soon as possible before that wrist gets worse."

"Rex, you coming?" Zoe asks her literal future friend.

Rex however wasn't paying attention, too busy examining the broken generator, a sinking feeling that something wasn't right twirling around deep inside his body. "You guys go on ahead. I want to figure out just how this generator got destroyed in the first place."

"If you want to stay out here in the rain like some kind of weirdo, be my guest. I'm going to take Zoe to the trailer. Stay safe out here." Max tells his friend before walking off with the pinkette.

"I should be telling you that." Rex replies, though Max was far away to not hear it.

"We're going back to base camp to refuel our jeep if that's alright with you, Rex." Ursula tells the young dinosaur enthusiast.

"Just make sure you use the proper fuel this time. The last time you placed jet fuel inside a convertible and it wasn't as pretty as it may have sounded like." Rex tells the Alpha Gang.

"It was one time and Zander apologized for it!" Ursula yelled, annoyed Rex brought up a long forgotten incident.

"Wait! Why was it me?! I distinctly remember Ed suggesting we use the fuel!" Zander yells at his comrade as the trio begin to walk away.

"Oooooh, 'jet fuel'! I thought you said 'get the fuel'." Ed says aloud in a realized tone.

"Can it, Ed!" both Zander and Ursula shout at the short chubby man.

Rex continued to examine the generator, feeling the dents along the rims before taking a look at the tree that fell down. The same deep sinking feeling lingered inside his body as he began to walk away from the generator, wanting to know how it got damaged in the first place. Rex left the generator as he started strolling in the forest for answers as thunder clapped in the air and lightning illuminated the sky and the ground.

Two trailers connected to each other could be seen beside a cliff somewhere in Quebec, Canada, two jeeps parked beside it while rain poured down from the heavens onto the ground. Large trees blanketed the area was shown as the ground below became muddy due to the heavy rain that fell from the night sky above. Inside the trailer was Reese Drake, whom was currently typing onto a computer, with the screen showing a schematic and a blueprint for a gun like object she was planning to build. She had suddenly stopped typing when she felt a sort of disturbing emotion spawn inside of her, prompting her to look up into the air. When she did, she waited for something to happen, glancing around the trailer to see if anything had moved. In the end, nothing had happened, confusing the young woman for a brief moment.

"Huh." she says to no one in particular.

Right at that moment, the doors had opened up, the sound of rain pouring briefly being heard outside as Max and Zoe stormed into the trailer. "Why is it so wet?!" Max shouts in frustration. (that's what she said)

"I need ice. I need ice real bad." Zoe says, hissing in pain as she tightly grips her wrist.

"Zoe! What happened?!" Reese frantically asks, or as frantic as she could get.

"I sprained my wrist outside. It hurts so bad!"

"Do we have ice and bandages?" Max asks the D-Team's technician.

"There's some ice in the freezer and the bandages are in one of the drawers. I'll get them." Reese answers, getting out of her seat to grab some bandages.

While Reese went to grab bandages from a nearby drawer, Max approached the freezer and grabbed a bag of ice while Zoe sat at the dining room table of the trailer. Upon retrieving the ice, Max immediately placed it on Zoe's wrist, grabbing her hand in the process, making the two of them blush a little. Afterwards, Reese arrived back with the bandages, quickly wrapping them around her little sister's sprained wrist before taping them together to stay firm.

"Thanks guys. Augh, it hurts." Zoe groans in pain as she places the ice bag on her bandaged wrist.

"Hey, what's that on the computer? Is that the thing you're working on for us?" Max asks as he turns to the computer screen.

Reese sighed in defeat in response. "Well, I was going to have it be a surprise for you guys but now the cat's out of the bag." Reese says as she presses a key on her computer, revealing the prototype model of what she was working on. "I'm working on a new Dino-Holder like invention for you three to use rather than the Dino-Bracers you are more equipped with. I call them the DinoShots, and are equipped with a more precise dinosaur tracking system that allows you to tell what type of element it is. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to tell you what species of dinosaur it is yet. The DinoShots are made to be waterproof and highly durable as opposed to the previous Dino Holders and Dino-Bracers."

"They look like a gun… Cool!" Max exclaims excitingly.

"When will they be done?" Zoe asks her big sister.

"Not much longer." Reese answers. "I just finished the schematic. Now all that is left is the building process, which might take some time. Which reminds me, I still need to save the schematics onto my flash drive in case something were to happen to them." Afterwards, Reese reached inside her pocket to grab her flash drive, only to come to the sudden realization that nothing was in her pocket. "Damn." she swears.

"What's wrong?" Zoe asks her big sister.

"I left my flash drive back at base camp. I'm going to have to go get it. Are you two fine on your own here?" Reese asks the two.

"No need to worry about us, Reese. We'll be fine in here. At least we won't be in the storm anymore." Max says aloud, relief in his tone.

"Unlucky for me, I don't have the keys to the jeep outside. Dr. Taylor does. And who knows where he is right now." Reese says.

In the window, both Dr. Z and Spike could be seen flying in the window screaming at the top of their lungs, so loud that they could be heard inside the trailer. Too bad the three weren't listening to the screams so the screams fell on deaf ears.

"Just be careful out there Reese. Trees are falling tonight." Zoe warns her sister.

In response, Reese grabbed a yellow raincoat and opened the door, the sound of rain pouring outside now audible for everyone to hear. "I'll be back as soon as possible. Oh, and by the way," Reese had suddenly stopped, her eyes completely obstructed thanks to ominous shadow that completely hid her eyes, giving off an intimidating aura around her body. "no adult themed funny business in here. Got it?"

In response, both Max and Zoe gulped in fear with extremely flushed faces due to Reese's innuendo threat. "Crystal." the two said at the same time.

"I'll be back shortly. Stay safe in here."

With that said, Reese closed the door and walked away from the trailer, leaving the two alone inside said trailer as rain continued to pour down onto it. The two sat in silence, not knowing what to talk about after Reese's threat, not wanting to do anything that may provoke her wrath.

"I don't like this." Max says aloud.

"Don't like what?" Zoe asks.

"Leaving the Alpha Gang to themselves. They could be up to something."

Zoe rolled her eyes, an enraged expression plastered on her face. "Oh my God! This again?!" Zoe shouts in absolute anger.

"We'll excuse me for being cautious, Zoe! I'm still mad that you didn't help me back there!" Max yelled at his friend.

"Because you're acting like a lunatic! You can't even trust the Alpha Gang to wash the dishes because you'll think they'll take them or destroy them or something!"

"Yeah, because this is the Alpha Gang we're talking about! They have a reputation of being bad people! Hurting innocent dinosaurs to do their bidding. It's what they do! And saving those dinosaurs from them is what the D-Team does."

"Max," Zoe begins to say. "what about in Niger? You worked with Ursula to take down that Irritator. What's the difference here?!"

"The difference is that we kept an eye on them. Here, while we're separated, they're free to do whatever they want!" Max yells.

"UGH! I have HAD IT with your lone warrior crap, Max! I really have! What bothers you is that we trust them and you don't and you have trouble moving on!" Zoe shouts at her friend.

"At least I'm looking out for the group!" Max yells, absolutely furious at Zoe right at the moment.

"No, you're looking out for your ego!"

"TAKE THAT BACK!"

"ENOUGH, MAX!"

"TAKE IT BACK RIGHT NOW!"

"I'M STARTING TO GET REALLY ANGRY RIGHT NOW, MAX!"

"Hurry up, Zander! The sooner that jeep is fueled up, the sooner we can get Dr. Z for help. For some reason he's not answering his phone." Ursula remarks loudly.

"And the sooner we can get something to eat." Ed says as he munches on a bag of chips in the back seat.

"Ed! Why aren't you helping Zander?!" Ursula yells at her adoptive younger brother.

Ed had finished swallowing the chip he ate, finishing the last of the chips in the bag as well. "Because Zander got the shorter straw." Ed replies, throwing the bag carelessly to the ground.

"At least don't litter, Ed! We're villainous henchmen, not litterers." Ursula scolds the man before picking up the trash.

"Sorry." Ed genuinely apologizes, feeling bad for his mistake.

"You better be. I'm going to throw this away and find out what's taking Zander so long." Ursula says before walking away.

"I'll stay in here and away from the storm- I mean, keep the jeep safe!" Ed calls out before shutting the door afterwards.

Ursula walked inside the base camp's building, throwing the bag of chips in the trash before bringing out her flashlight and turned it on. She turned to the side of her to see the D-Team's chibi dinosaurs all huddled together in a corner, still afraid of the storm outside. Ursula felt a little bad for them but realized they were in the safest possible place at the moment before going back to finding her comrade. Her light flashed towards the other side of the room, the light shining onto Zander's butt, sticking out from the closet as he rummaged around inside.

"Did you finally come out of the closet, Zander?" Ursula joked as she gave a gentle kick to Zander's butt.

"Uh- Hey!" Zander exclaims in surprise, standing up with two gas cans in his hand. "For your information, it was a pain to get these two cans that were stuffed in the back of the closet! Who put them in there in the first place?"

"Dr. Z." the two of them simultaneously say, immediately knowing who to blame.

Right at that moment, beeping could be heard somewhere inside the building, grabbing the two Alpha member's attention. "Hey, what's that beeping?" Zander asks aloud as he scans the room.

Ursula turned her head towards a desk, more specifically the top drawer of the desk, where the origin of the beeping was coming from. She opened the drawer, revealing the three Alpha Scanners beeping loudly, a map of Quebec, Canada shown on screen. It didn't take a genius to realize what this meant.

"Uh oh." Ursula says aloud.

Meanwhile, out in the forest, Rex was busy tracking the massive damage that was getting farther and farther away from the destroyed generator. Smashed branches and knocked over trees could be seen, making Rex realize this was no ordinary drunk driving incident. Something else destroyed the generator, something that also knocked over these trees. Something big and not thought to be possible. Rex turned to the side, seeing a bush, covered with blood, which only confused the young dinosaur enthusiast even more.

Without realizing and not looking where he was going, Rex had accidentally stepped into a muddle puddle, ceasing his walk as he looked down. When he did, he had gotten the biggest answer to all the questions spiraling in his head by the shape and form of a dinosaur footprint, which he had stepped in. The young dinosaur enthusiast connected the dots, finally realizing what had destroyed the generators and knocked down the trees. Rex didn't even take a moment to think about the dinosaur, as a horrifying realization had popped in his head upon discovering that there was a wild dinosaur on the loose. He had more important things to think of.

"Oh no." Rex loudly whispers.

Without wasting a moment, Rex whipped out his cellphone and proceeded to call the trailer to warn his two friends.

Unbeknownst to Max, his two friends continued to argue inside, their shouting muffling out the phone ringing.

"They almost burnt down our town! Destroyed that factory! Everything they do is bad, and you expect me to just 'move on'?!" Max yells at Zoe.

"What part of 'it's in the past' do you not understand, Max? They've clearly become better people now and you're just refusing to admit this!" Zoe yells back.

"The day the Alpha Gang become better people is the day that crazy doctor stops hurting those poor dinosaurs!"

"HE HASN'T EVEN SEEN ANY OF THE NEW DINOSAURS WE'VE ENCOUNTERED!" Zoe shouts, her patience for Max's stubbornness flown out the window a long time ago.

"No answer. What a surprise." Rex sarcastically mumbles to himself in annoyance as he hangs up the phone before placing it back in his pocket. "Looks like I'll have to warn them myself."

Without thinking, Rex darted off deeper into the forest, sprinting as much as he could in the mud to reach the trailers as soon as possible to warn his friends of the danger that was lurking inside the forest.

Reese stormed inside the base camp building, her raincoat soaked with rain as she quickly shut the door, pushing away a few strands of hair out of her face. "I hate storms." she mumbles. "Woah. What happened to the power?"

"Reese!" A voice from behind her exclaims; Reese didn't have a chance to turn around as Zander hugged her from behind before she could. "Oh, I'm so glad you're alright!" Zander gleefully exclaims, hugging the blonde.

"Zander." she says in a monotone voice. "Nice to see you too? Why do you sound relieved? And why were you out in the rain like some kind of weirdo?"

"For your information, he was filling the jeep with gas." Ursula tells the D-Team's technician. "We ran out a while back so we came back here to get some more fuel when he came across this."

Ursula handed Reese the Alpha Scanner, showing her that a dinosaur was nearby in the forest next to them, making Reese realize why he sounded so worried. "A dinosaur? Here? What are the odds? Hold on a minute." She took the Alpha Scanner right out her hands, taking a closer look at the digital map on the screen. "It's near the two trailers I left Max and Zoe in! We need to warn them! Where's the phone?"

"We can't use the phone, the power is out!" Ursula exclaims angrily.

"Then how are we going to warn them?" Reese asks.

"We can use the jeep. I already refueled it before you came here." Zander replies, pointing to the jeep behind him.

"I'll come with you."

"No! It's too dangerous out there for you! Stay here where it's safe." Zander tells the blonde, a slight blush on his cheeks. "Besides, someone should keep a watch on the brat's- Duh- I mean kid's dinos."

Zander emphasized this by pointing to the three chibi dinosaurs huddled together underneath the table as protection from the storm. "Alright, fine, but get Max and Zoe back here as soon as you can." Reese tells the tall man.

"You can count on me, my darling little angel!" Zander dramatically exclaims as he salutes her.

In response, Ursula slapped the back of his head, knocking him down to the ground, an angry expression on her face. "Knock it off, Casanova!" she berates.

"Hey, where's the other one by the way?" Reese asks the two, noticing the lack of a short, chubby man in the room.

Ed sat in the backseat of the jeep, staring out of the window and into the night where saw a large forest over at the end of the open dig site. He decided to rest his head on the head rest as he continued to wait for his partners to come back with the Alpha Scanners. At that moment, a booming sound was heard, immediately causing the short, chubby man to open his eyes with an alert expression on his face. He suddenly looked at the dashboard, seeing Zander's cup of water still standing there when another boom went off, causing it to ripple. A second boom was heard as the water glass rippled once again, and it was at this point that Ed realized what this really meant.

"Maybe it's the power trying to come back on?" Ed asks himself in a whisper. That theory was thrown out the window when a distant roar was heard, scaring the poor man even more. "Or maybe not." he says to himself in a scared tone.

Right at that moment, Zander and Ursula had just ran out of the building with Ursula holding the Alpha Scanners and Zander holding the keys, making a dash towards the jeep; Ed quickly popped his head out the open window and motioned them to get in as fast as possible.

"Uh, guys! We need to leave! Now! Come on! Get in here! Now! Now! Right now!" Ursula and Zander ran inside the jeep and quickly closed the doors as the booming sounds got louder. "Start the engine, Zander! Start the engine!"

Right when Zander started the engine as it roared to life, the Giganotosaurus appeared from the forest, knocking down several trees as it gave off it's own roar. Zander quickly shifted the jeep into a higher gear as he sped through the forest, wanting to get away from the giant dinosaur as fast as possible.

"Must go faster." Ed tells the tall man before looking back.

The Giganotosaurus roared out loud as it began chasing the jeep, actually catching up to it much to the horror of the Alpha Gang.

"SHIT!" Ursula shouts as she looks behind her.

"Higher gear!" Ed shouts at Zander, both terrified at the carnivore catching up to them.

"SHIIIIIIIT!"

"Fifth gear!"

"SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!"

"FIFTH GEAR, ZANDER! FIFTH GEAR!"

Zander kept his cool but was still terrified inside nonetheless as he looked at the rear view mirror, seeing the Giganotosaurus roaring in it as it's jaws completely covered the mirror. It was even worse when the mirror had the writing "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR" and since the Giganotosaurus was completely covering the entire mirror, this only meant that it was right above them. Despite being inside the car, Ed still backed into the front part of the car to make as much distance away from the dinosaur as fast as possible. Unfortunately, while doing so, he had accidentally pushed the gear stick to a smaller gear and made the jeep go slower than they needed it to be.

"Ed! Get your fatass off the stick, now!" Zander tells the short, chubby man, trying to push him off the gear shift.

"ZANDER! THERE'S A TREE IN THE ROAD!" Ursula shouts at the tall man, pointing to the road ahead.

"HOLD OOOOOOOOOON!" Zander shouts before violently turning the vehicle to avoid the tree.

While the jeep managed to avoid the tree, the Giganotosaurus rammed right through it like a charging rhino, which could eat if it ever wanted to, completely shattering the tree. Because the jeep was going slower than it needed to be due to the sudden gear shift, the Giganotosaurus was right beside the speeding vehicle. The large dinosaur tried to ram the vehicle off the road by smashing it's head against the side of the jeep, only to make it teeter a bit before roaring at it's prey in frustration.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ursula screamed bloody murder, her eyes wide as dinner plates.

Zander quickly shifted the car back to fifth gear, now finally gaining some speed. The jeep sped through the woods while the Giganotosaurus was slowly losing it's distance before it eventually gave up, roaring out in frustration as it stopped charging. The Alpha Gang took a moment to rest as they all blew sighs of relief, momentarily out of death's grasp as they continued to drive through the jungle and towards the trailers.

"Remind me to thank Dr. Z for a lovely weekend." Ursula sarcastically says as she catches her breath.

"Call the trailer… tell them they have big problems coming ahead." Zander tells the other two.

"Zander. Zander! ZANDER!" Ursula yells at the tall man while pointing at the road.

Zander suddenly looked in front of him, seeing that he was driving towards a tree; he screamed as he slammed the brakes as hard as he could as the jeep came to a sliding and sudden stop. The bumper of the jeep was mere millimeters away from the tree as the Alpha Trio started panting from the adrenaline rush before calming down again.

"I think I'm done driving for today." Zander calmly declares with a traumatized expression.

"I think that's a good idea." Ursula agrees, an equal traumatized expression on her face as well.

"We're not going anywhere. The wheels are stuck in the mud." Ed tells the group as he looks down at the ground.

Zander shifted gears and placed the jeep in reverse before stepping on the gas pedal; the engine roared as the wheels spun rapidly, shooting mud from behind it as the jeep was going nowhere.

"Crap." Zander says in an exasperated tone.

"I'll get Terry." Ursula tells the two of them in a tired tone.

Rex continued to run through the jungle, picking up the pace when he heard the roar behind him, pushing various leaves and branches out of the way in the process.

Meanwhile, inside the trailers, Max and Zoe continued to argue as the phone began ringing once more, once again falling onto deaf ears.

"Nothing will ever get me to trust them at all!" Max shouts at the pinkette.

"You are so thick headed sometimes! I swear, I just want to scream at you!" Zoe screamed at him.

Rex finally made it towards the trailer, soaking wet from running in the rain; he quickly ran as fast as he could towards the door before opening it, storming inside, the first thing hearing was the phone ringing. "For once in your life, would it kill you to pick it up?" Rex asks in an annoyed tone as the phone continues to ring. "We've got to get out of here right now."

"Why? What's going on out-"

Max's words were interrupted when a loud roar was heard followed by a loud bang, prompting the three of them to look out the window. There, they saw the jeep that was parked outside rolling outside the window and off the cliff, a loud explosion was heard afterwards. Rex slowly turned to his friends, a grim look on his face, while Zoe and Max shot him confused looks, not knowing what was going on.

"We're not alone in this forest." he says in a grim whisper.

The D-Team looked out of the window, waiting for something to pop up as they tried to find out what was out there, although Rex had a good clue of what it was. Unbeknownst to them, while they were looking outside, the head of the Giganotosaurus appeared in the window behind them, watching them looking out the opposite window. As quickly as it showed up, it disappeared before it roared outside of the trailer scaring the kids.

"What the hell was that?" Max asks, scared for his life for a brief moment.

Booming sound was heard outside as the trailer began shaking, scaring the kids even more as they held onto various objects to keep them from falling. The booming and shaking suddenly stopped, initially calming Max and Zoe down a bit; Rex however knew this wasn't the end, knowing something else was about to happen. Something horrible.

"Hang on. This is gonna be bad." Rex whispers.

As if on cue, the trailer began toppling and turning as everything began falling while the kids all began gripping on anything stable while the trailer was soon upside down. Objects were broken when the trailer was forced on it's back as the kids all groaned in pain, most noticeably Zoe whom was already hurt prior to the events. Outside, the Giganotosaurus crashed through the windshield of the first trailer with it's head before pushing the trailer towards the cliff, roaring while doing so. Rex looked outside, noticing that the cliff was getting closer and closer by the second, soon connecting the dots and coming to the shocking conclusion.

"It's pushing us over the cliff!" he exclaims.

"Oh my God." Zoe whispers in fear.

The Giganotosaurus continued to push the trailer over the cliff, feeling it's territory being invaded and wanting the intruders out of it as soon as possible. As the dinosaur roared, Max ran over to the now upside down door to try and flee from the trailer. Unfortunately, because the Giganotosaurus damaged the trailer, the locking mechanisms were broken, causing the doors to become forever locked, trapping the kids inside.

"Come on! Come on! Open you piece of crap!" Max shouts as he tries to kick the door open, but to no avail.

Rex began helping his friend as he too started pushing the door to force it open, but once again, it was proven to be futile. "As soon as this door opens… head straight to the woods." he says, trying to force open the door.

Outside, the Giganotosaurus continued to push the trailer towards the cliff, the very end of the second trailer now mere centimeters away. "HANG ON TO SOMETHING!" Max shouts as he tightly grips an unknown object.

"HANG ON TO SOMETHING!" Rex repeated as he too grabbed onto a piece of the trailer.

Finally, with one last push, the Giganotosaurus successfully pushed the second trailer off the cliff, giving a triumphant roar afterwards before walking back into the forest. With the second trailer dangling off the cliff while the first one was still on it, the D-Team all held tightly onto anything that was bolted to the trailer. The three of them continued to hang from whatever they were holding onto in the trailer for dear life, daring not to loosen their grips in the slightest. Sadly for Zoe, her sprained wrist caused her to loosen her grip, causing her to fall towards the bottom of the toppled trailer.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-!" Zoe's screams were stopped when she fell onto the window, severely damaging it.

"ZOE!" Max shouts in fear.

Zoe groaned as she was laid out on the window that was keeping her from falling, her breath fogging up the window as cracks were visible on it. Max and Rex began crawling down towards their friend as fast as they could so they could save her before the window broke entirely.

"Zoe!" both of them yelled simultaneously.

Zoe groaned in pain as she opened her eyes, the first thing seeing was the jagged rocks at the bottom of the cliff being hit with the violent waves. She slowly tried to pick herself up, which only meant she was putting pressure on the glass, which began cracking some more, slowly losing it's stability. "Oh God. Please." Zoe whimpered, not wanting to leave this earth just yet.

"Don't move!" Rex calls out before glancing at Max.

"Zoe, I'm coming down! Just stay there and don't move!" Max yells as he begins crawling down to save his friend. Zoe continued to whimper, even tearing up a bit, as she tried her best to stay as still as possible, which only proved to be difficult due to the physical position she was in. "Rex!" Max calls out.

"Yeah?" Rex replies.

"The radio! Get it before it drops!" Max calls out, pointing to the radio which was hung over a piece of furniture.

Rex began climbing down to get the radio, only going as far as he could because there was no other way to go further as there was nothing else to hang onto. He extended his arm as he tried to reach the radio, which was slowly sliding off the furniture. While he did so, Max continued to climb down the trailer while Zoe herself tried to slowly keep her movements as slow as possible, slowly reaching for backpack, which was hanging onto a rod installed in the trailer so she could at least hold onto something if the window gave out. Unfortunately, even the slightest of movements Zoe made, the window still continued to crack, slowly losing it's stability which only meant that it would break even sooner.

Rex groaned in pain, trying to reach the radio as much as he could, his arm starting to become sore from stretching it farther than it could. He had to retract his arm away for a quick rest, going down a little further before going back to trying to reach the radio, which still continued to slide off of the furniture. Max was now right above Zoe, extending his hand for her to grab onto it so she would be safe while Zoe herself continued to try and reach her backpack.

"Give me your hand. Give me your hand, Zoe." Max tells his friend, extending his hand.

He suddenly looked at what she was trying to reach, realizing that it was her backpack; up top, Rex continued to try and reach the radio. Alas, he was out of time as the radio fell from the piece of furniture, right when he was just about to grab it.

"HEADS UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!" he shouts.

Instantly, both Max and Zoe grabbed her backpack right when the radio fell on the window, immediately shattering it as it and the glass shards fell to the water below. Zoe hanged on for dear life onto her backpack, dangling over the cliff while Max tightened his grip on the straps of the bag. The two of them groaned as they held onto the backpack like it was their lifeline, which it was at the moment.

"I guess school is important." Max joked before he began pulling his friend up to safety.

When he did, Zoe immediately clung onto him, crying into his shoulder as she hugged him for comfort, placing the backpack on the counter beside them. While the three of them were now somewhat safe from falling, with Max and Rex blowing sighs of relief, the moment was interrupted when they started hearing honking from outside. Outside the trailer, the second jeep pulled up to the cliff, with the Alpha Trio getting out of it afterwards. Upon pulling up, Ursula began running towards the first trailer with a flashlight, which was still on top of the cliff while Zander and Ed stayed back at the jeep.

"Max!" she calls out. "Zoe!... Rex?… Rex!"

"Ursula?" Rex says in a confused tone.

"We're in here!" Max calls out.

"Wait! Wait! Hold on! I'm coming!" Ursula shouts back as she runs to the first trailer, trying to open the door. Due to the broken mechanisms, this was proved to be futile as she struggled to open the door. "I'm coming! Goddamn it!" Realizing it was pointless and a waste of time, she ran over to the front of the trailer, climbing through the broken window before entering the vehicle. "I'm coming! What did this?!"

"Where's my sister?! Is Reese alright?!" Zoe calls out to the green haired woman.

"She's okay! She's back at the dig site!" Ursula shouts back as she runs over to where the second trailer had dropped. "Who's hurt?! What do you need?!"

The three D-Team members all looked at each other for a brief moment. "Rope?" Rex asks.

"Yeah, rope." Max confirms before looking back up. "Rope! Rope would be appreciated!"

"Rope! What- Anything else?!" Ursula frantically asks.

"Yeah! Three large pizzas with every topping!" Max sarcastically responds.

"No pineapples on mine!" Rex adds, going along with the joke.

"And don't forget the cheesy bread!" Zoe finalizes the sarcastic remark with her own order.

"Oh… Put a sock in it, smartasses!" Ursula shouts back, waving them off before she ran back outside to meet up with her comrades.

"Are they okay?" Zander asks his companion.

"They're fine. We need rope! Do we have rope?" Ursula frantically asks.

"Yeah! We- We should have some in the back of the jeep." Zander replies, heading back to the jeep.

Ed quickly ran towards the trailer, climbing into it before running over to the edge of where the second trailer fell. "We're getting rope! Just hang on!" he yells down to them.

"Is now the time for puns, Ed?!" Zoe asks, annoyed by his accidental pun.

"It wasn't a pun!" Ed yells back.

"I got the rope!" Zander shouts, pulling the rope out of the jeep.

The tall man quickly ran over to a nearby tree, immediately rapping the rope around it before tying it down to stabilize it. Afterwards, he threw it to Ursula, who in turn threw it towards Ed, whom threw it over the edge. "Rope is coming down!" he calls out, throwing the rope over the edge.

The rope made it's way towards the D-Team, whom immediately grabbed a hold of the rope, tugging it to make sure it was tied to something. "Nice one, Ed!" Zoe calls out.

"Is this tied down to anything?!" Rex shouts so the young man could hear him.

Before anyone could give an answer, the second trailer started sliding as loud banging was heard outside; the kids looked outside, realizing what was happening. "We're sliding. We're sliding, Ed!" Max shouts at the top of his lungs.

"We're sliding!" Zoe repeats.

Ed looked back outside, a grim look on his face before storming towards the exit; outside, Ursula and Zander watched as the first trailer began sliding over the edge thanks to the mud. "They're sliding. We need to do something fast!" Zander panics.

"Uh, quick! Summon our dinosaurs to pull back the trailer!" Ursula quickly ordered.

"We only have Terry and Tank! Spiny's card is in the trailer!" Ed responds.

"I don't care! Summon them!" she shouts back. Ed and Zander quickly pulled out their Alpha Scanners and summoned Terry and Tank to their full size. "Terry! Tank! Grab onto the trailer and pull it back!"

The two dinosaurs roared in response as the two of them grabbed the trailer with their mouths, trying their hardest to pull back the trailer. Unfortunately, due to the mud, this was proved to be difficult because with no friction, the two dinosaurs weren't going anywhere even with their massive strengths.

"It's not enough! We need something else!" Ed cries out.

Ursula glanced back at the jeep, noticing the cable winch at the front of the car; without saying a word, she ran towards the front and started reeling out the cable winch as much as she could. Meanwhile, inside the second trailer, the D-Team began climbing up the rope, with Max carrying Zoe on her back since her wrist was too damaged to grab anything. Even though it was a difficult task, Max didn't complain as he cared about Zoe and her safety too much to even complain.

Ursula ran towards the trailer, cable winch in hand, ready to hook it onto the front of the first trailer. As she made a dash to the trailer, the line stopped, causing her to fall into the mud; her ruined outfit being unnoticeable and so little at the moment, not even caring if it got ruined as there were more important things to worry about. As she tried to pick herself up, the trailer continued to slide off the cliff, even with Terry and Tank slowing down the progress by pulling it back. As if things couldn't get any worse, the rope that the D-Team was climbing began to loosen before eventually losing it's knot.

Upon the rope being loosened, the D-Team fell back down the second trailer, quickly grabbing onto anything that they could hold onto. Zander ran over to where the rope gave out, immediately wrapping it around the tree twice to ensure it's stability. Meanwhile, Ursula ran back to the jeep, reeling out more of the cable winch, taking a quick glance at the trailer, which continued to slide down the cliff. The three kids all picked themselves up, no longer hanging on for dear life and were now safe by sitting on top of some of the cabinets attached to the trailer. Ursula looked back, seeing the two struggling dinosaurs pulling the trailer back, slowly sliding down the cliff along with the vehicles.

The green haired woman ran back to the first trailer, tripping and falling into the mud, but this did not stop her as she continued to crawl towards the trailer. The trailer continued to slide down the cliff as Ed ran towards the jeep while Ursula gripped onto the bumper of the trailer. She quickly wrapped the winch around said bumper, successfully hooking the winch to it before she fell back to the ground, sighing in relief. The winch straightened as the first trailer's front wheels were now over the cliff, but thanks to the car winch and the two dinosaurs, gripping onto it, the trailer didn't fall over. Back with Zander, he had finished tying the rope together, double knotting it so it wouldn't snap again.

"Hey… Hey!" Zoe calls out, pulling the rope, confirming that it was now climbable again.

Ursula quickly gave a thumbs up for Ed, whom immediately turned on the vehicle, switching the vehicle in reverse before stepping on the gas pedal. The jeep's engine roared to life as Ed kept his foot on the gas pedal, trying his hardest to pull the trailer back up on the cliff. "Come on…. Come on!" he shouts at himself. The jeep struggled to pull the trailer back up as mud and water flew behind the tires as Ed bounced in his seat in frustration while Terry and Tank struggled to keep their footing. Ursula quickly climbed inside the trailer to retrieve the other Alpha Scanner that had Spiny's card in it for extra support, climbing through the window between Tank and Terry.

Back with Ed, he acted quickly by shifting the jeep into a higher gear as the jeep started to move side to side as smoke joined the water and mud that was being flung out from behind the tires. The first trailer's tires got pulled back and were now on top of the cliff while Tank and Terry were now successfully pulling the trailer and making some progress; inside the trailer, the D-Team continued to climb up the rope as fast as they could.

"Increase your rate of climb." Rex tells his friends as he climbs up the rope.

Due to carrying Zoe on his back, Max momentarily lost his strength as his grip loosened, causing him to fall right onto Rex and down the rope. The three of them screamed as they were now completely outside of the trailer, but still holding onto the rope for dear life.

"It's working. It's working!" Zander celebrates in triumph as Ursula returned with the third Alpha Scanner.

The celebration was interrupted when the sound of heavy footsteps were heard coming from the forest; even Ed noticed the heavy footsteps, briefly stopping the vehicle to look at the jeep's side view mirror. Behind the jeep was the Giganotosaurus coming out of the forest, immediately taking notice of the Alpha Gang trying to save the kids that were stuck inside the trailer. The large dinosaur bent forward, peering inside the jeep Ed was in while he looked right into it's eyes, noticing that it was staring back. Even though he had a calm expression on his face, deep down, he was terrified, especially when the Giganotosaurus growled loudly, revealing it's sharp teeth to the chubby man. In response, Ed pressed harder on the gas pedal to try and pull the trailer up as quickly as possible.

The Giganotosaurus suddenly roared as it bent forward, taking a huge chunk of the jeep's roof, ripping out the searchlights attached to the top. Ed started screaming in fear but still kept his foot on the accelerator, still wanting to save the D-Team from certain doom inside the trailer. Even after when the Giganotosaurus ripped the door open, exposing Ed some more, he still kept his foot on the gas pedal, leaning into the passenger seat to make as much distance from the dinosaur as possible, even though it wouldn't have done a thing. Ed tried to grab the hunting rifle that was in the passenger seat he was in but unbeknownst to him, the barrel of the rifle was caught in the netting on the floor.

"Come on! Come on!" Ed cried out, now full blown panicking at the moment. The Giganotosaurus bit down on the driver's seat, causing the airbag to go off, barely missing Ed's leg as he began screaming for help. "Guys?! Aaahh!" Ed cried out, his heart beating a mile a second. "Ah! AaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAH! Guys, help me! Somebody help me, please! Help me!"

Ed began kicking the air out of defensive instinct, his body acting on it's own, which was a horrible idea as the Giganotosaurus quickly bit down onto Ed's leg, completely breaking it as a loud CRUNCH! sound was heard. Ed screamed a high pitch scream as he was picked up into the air by the Giganotosaurus before being swung in the air like a toy. Ed screamed bloody murder as the Giganotosaurus threw him up into the air, ready to chomp down onto him once he fell back down, all while Ed continued to shriek for his life.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ed's high shrieks echoed into the sky before he was thrown into the air.

"ED! NOOOOOOOO!" Zander shouted in absolute terror while Ursula quickly grabbed Spiny's card from the Alpha Scanner.

"ALPHA SLASH! GUSH OUT, SPINOSAURUS!"

Spiny, in his chibi form, flew up into the air as music played loudly for everyone to hear, music that was fit for a cunning mastermind who had just pulled an unexpected move that had completely changed the tide of the battle. Spiny spun around in the air as bubbles formed and extended his limbs while, just like a boat, his large sail sprung to life as his snout extended, increasing in size. His eyes glowed blue before afterwards roaring loudly into the sky, instantly asserting his dominance over the other dinosaurs in the area. The Giganotosaurus suddenly turned it's attention to the newest intruder that had just appeared out of nowhere before it could catch Ed in it's mouth. Ed continued to scream before he landed on the Giganotosaurus' snout, momentarily grabbing onto it before falling down into the ground below, where he fell in between two logs.

"Spiny, fight that Giga- Gigno- Jus- Just fight that really large dinosaur!" Ursula shouts, not having time for pronunciations.

Spiny roared at his opponent as the Giganotosaurus roared back before the Spinosaurus charged at the tyrannosaurid, biting down onto its neck. Upon biting down, the Giganotosaurus roared, backing up as it let go of the jeep, only for Spiny to put all of his weight onto the hood of the jeep, completely crushing it. The rope that the D-Team were climbing up was soon loosening again, but Ursula had a plan, evident when the rope finally gave, Tank and Terry quickly bit down onto the rope, both slowly pulling it back up.

The Giganotosaurus soon escaped the Spinosaurus' grip as it retreated back before roaring at the large carnivore. Spiny roared back to assert his dominance as the Giganotosaurus rushed forward as it took a step forward, right onto a screaming Ed whom was stuck in between two logs that he fell into. Thankfully, the logs saved him from getting injured even more; the Giganotosaurus bit down onto Spiny's neck, slamming him down into the ground. The knock down nearly knocks Spiny off of his feet, but the massive carnivore managed to muscle his way back up. Stubbornly, the Giganotosaurus refused to let go, leading Spiny around as he knocked over a large tree with his tail, falling on top of the jeep Ed was previously in.

Spiny eventually escaped the Giganotosaurus' grip before snapping his jaws at the tyrannosaurid, whom hissed in response. The Giganotosaurus charged at Spiny, pushing him against a tree while Spiny used his claws to scratch the giant dinosaur. The Giganotosaurus went in for another push, shoving Spiny to the ground only for the Spinosaurus to catch himself thanks to his front arms. Spiny roared in rage as he chomped down onto the Giganotosaurus' neck, just like his motif, turned the tables against the large carnivore. As Ed crawled through the mud in between the logs, Spiny now had a firm grip on the Giganotosaurus' neck, who roared as it struggled to escape the Spinosaurus' grasp. Spiny suddenly roared out frustration, growing impatient of the everlasting fight, wanting to finally end it, before he shoved the Giganotosaurus to the ground, ready to give out the final move.

"Go, Spiny! Use Aqua Vortex!" Zander shouts as he activates the move card.

Spiny roared into the air as a large tornado made out of water surrounded him before the vortex surrounded the stunned Giganotosaurus. The tyrannosaurid spun around in the air inside the violent current before the vortex vanished, resulting in the Giganotosaurus falling hard on the ground, turning into a card. Meanwhile, the trailer began to slide down the cliff along with the broken jeep as the D-Team screamed, ducking their heads to avoid getting hit by the falling trailer that fell right through them. The trailer eventually completely fell off the cliff before exploding into the ground below, followed by the jeep, which also exploded. The D-Team looked all around them, various parts of both vehicles flying high into the sky, with a tire reaching the hanging team.

Max was the first to climb up to safety, immediately looking over the cliff to see Tank and Terry clinging onto the rope with their mouths. Ursula extended her hand out for Max to grab onto; although hesitating at first, Max smartened up as he grabbed Ursula's soaking wet hand from the rain, droplets falling off her fingertips. The two Alpha Gang members soon began pulling the kids back up on the cliff, with Zoe releasing herself from Max as they were now safe, the danger finally over.

The storm soon settled as morning came afterwards, the sun slowly appearing over the horizon, the start of a brand new day. Everyone had returned to the dig site with Zoe having a cast over her wrist while Ed was being transported into an ambulance, his leg completely broken and bloody and in a supporting cast.

"Ed… you saved us." Max tells the chubby man in an apologetic tone.

"Not just Ed, all of them." Rex clarifies. "Ursula attached the cable winch to the trailer and Zander gave us rope to climb. They all saved us… It could've been worse, Max… a lot worse."

Max looked down solemnly, Rex's words cutting deep into him, making him realize how he has been treating his former enemies all night long. He turned to the Alpha Trio, where Ursula and Zander were comforting Ed, whom was lying down in the ambulance stretcher, drinking a box of apple juice the two provided for him. Their former enemy had risked his life to save theirs, almost sacrificing himself and giving his life to save them off the cliff. Unbeknownst to any of them, even when Ed was in the face of death, he still kept his foot on the accelerator, proving how dedicated he was to saving them.

"Ed. Ursula. Zander." Max calls out the trio, earning their attention, noticing Max's distant look. "I'm… I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't trust you guys and for insulting you and being a general pain in the ass. It's just that… I'm so used to you guys always being our enemies that… I guess I never had time to move on. I was so busy focusing on the past that I didn't notice what was happening in front of me. You guys saved our lives and Ed almost died because of us. I'm not asking for you guys to forgive me… I just want to let you know I'm ready to be allies."

The three of them were silent for a while, turning to each other to figure out what to say, before Ursula waved her hand at Max. "Aaaaaah, don't get all worked up over it." Ursula dismisses Max's apology. "I knew a kid with an ego as big as yours and the size of that Triceratops you have would've been difficult to gain your trust. But I am serious. We aren't planning to do anything villainous. Dr. Z may come off as estranged and insane but deep down, he's a big softie."

"I'm still sorry for treating you guys like trash tonight, though." Max apologizes once more.

"Forget about it, kid." Zander replies, waving a dismissive hand. "What matters now is that you know we're not enemies now."

"And all it took was for me to get my leg bitten by a prehistoric beast and almost get eaten alive to do so!" Ed adds in an eerily happy tone.

"How did it feel anyway to get your leg bitten?" Zoe asks the chubby man.

"It hurt very much and I'm still currently in excruciating pain." Ed replies with a smile, a tear forming in his eye.

"What kind of dinosaur was it anyway? I noticed the footprint in the forest and ran straight towards the trailer so I didn't get a chance to see what it was." Rex tells the group.

"See for yourself." Ursula replies, revealing the Giganotosaurus card.

"Woah! A Giganotosaurus! Did you have Terry battle this? That would've been cool!" Max excitingly asks, imagining the dino duel in his head.

"You can thank Spiny for that." Zander replies, pointing towards Spiny whom was in his chibi form.

Zoe bent down and started petting the chibi Spinosaurus, a warm smile on her face. "Thank you, Spiny." she thanks before kissing him on the forehead. "And thanks to you Terry and Tank." Zoe thanks the other two, whom were also in their chibi forms.

In response, Terry bit down onto Zoe's entire face, resulting in her screaming as she ran around with a chibi Tyrannosaurus Rex on her face. Right at that moment, Reese had showed up in a jeep along with Dr. Z, Spike, and the D-Team's own chibi dinosaurs. "Oh my God. Are you guys alright?!" Reese asks, running out of the car and towards the group.

"I heard about what happened! Did anyone get hurt?" Spike asks, standing next to Ed's stretcher.

"No, I don't think so." Ed replies, briefly forgetting his own injury.

The three chibi dinosaurs all ran towards their owners, jumping into their arms as they began comforting them. "Aa-aw! Ace! I'm so glad you're alright!" Rex exclaims, hugging his dinosaur.

"You too, Chomp. I'm glad to see you again." Max tells his partner.

"Someone get Terry off of my face!" Zoe's muffled screams were heard as she continued to run around with Terry biting her entire face.

"The Alpha Gang saved us, Dr. Taylor. They saved our lives." Rex tells the three of them.

"They did?" Spike, Dr. Z, and Reese asked simultaneously.

"AAAAAH! What happened to Ed?!" Dr. Z shouts as he pushes Spike out the way to take a look at Ed's injury.

"Tis but a flesh wound." Ed replies nonchalantly.

"A flesh wound?! Your leg's hanging by a thread!" Dr. Z shouts in frustration.

Ed took a brief glance at his wounded leg before looking back up at his adoptive father. "I've had worse." he replies in the same nonchalant tone.

"You liar!" Dr. Z shouts, throwing a fit. "What happened to him?! I want answers immediately! Who wounded poor Ed?! I want names!"

"Relax, doctor." Zander tells the short, old man.

"Yeah, Ed injured himself to save the brats' lives." Ursula adds.

"He did?" Dr. Z asks, earning a nod from the two of them. "Huh. Well, in that case… uh… Good job, Ed."

"A praise? By Dr. Z. I must be dreaming! Somebody pinch me!" Ed happily exclaims. Zander went to pinch Ed's leg, only for the injured man to interject him. "No! Not the leg! Anywhere but the leg!"

Reese suddenly tapped Zander's shoulder, prompting him to turn towards the young woman. "Thank you, Zander, for saving my sister's and her friends' lives." she thanks, giving him a hug afterwards.

Zander froze up as his heartbeat increased, his face flushed red as a dreamy smile slowly creeped up on his face. "Dreams coming true." he mutters to himself in an entranced tone.

"Hold on a minute." Reese says, letting go of Zander as he falls to the ground. "What happened to the trailers anyway."

Max grew a nervous expression as he began fidgeting in place, while Rex stood there in confusion, not knowing why he was acting this way. Meanwhile, Zoe continued to run around like a screaming maniac, Terry still holding a firm and sharp grip onto her face. "It uh… It- It fell off the cliff." Max replies in a sheepish tone.

"It fell off the cliff? That's great." Reese says in a ticked off tone. "I never got a chance to download the DinoShots data onto my flash drive. Now I'm going to have to start all over again."

"DinoShot? What's that?" Rex asks his friend.

"Get it off of me! Get it off of me!" Zoe continued to run around, now with Paris chasing her.

"It's what Reese was working on." Max answers.

"I was building you guys a new Dino Holder for you guys to use." Reese adds. "I noticed your Dino Bracers tend to get damaged relatively easily." She looked down at Max's Dino-Bracer, which was shooting sparks along with a cracked screen and covered in mud. "A lot easier. So I designed a new type of Dino Holder for you guys to use that is easier to maintain. They're more durable and more organized than both the Dino Holders and the Dino-Bracers and are water proof in case you guys ever get into a situation where water is everywhere… like here. But because the data and schematics for the DinoShots were in the trailer that went over the cliff, I'd have to start all over again."

"How long will that take?" Max asks.

In the background, Zoe continued to run around, now with Spiny chasing her along with Tank whom kept bouncing up and down on her head.

"A week give or take. I hope you didn't damage your bracers that badly." Reese says to the two of them. In response, both Max and Rex blankly stared at the older woman, not showing any sign of emotion. "They're broken aren't they?" she asks in a monotone voice, earning a nod from the two of them. "Well that's not good. Hopefully a dinosaur won't appear during the time frame of when I'm working with them."

"The Alpha Gang can always go. After all, I trust them now." Max says to the trio, giving them a warm smile.

"That was the cheesiest thing I have ever heard of." Ursula replies in an emotionless tone.

"I thought so too." Max replies in a disgraced tone, looking down in shame.

"Well I'll be. I guess the Alpha Gang aren't so bad after all." Spike says to himself with a smile. "But what about you, Ed? Are you going to be alright?"

"I hope so. Who knows? Maybe I'll get a miracle surgeon that'll make my leg brand new again and maybe even improve it a bit!" Ed hopefully wishes in a happy tone, imagining a new leg in his head.

The Alpha Gang were revealed to be at the hospital, Ursula and Zander standing besides Ed's bed while his leg was lifted up in a bloody cast while the doctor simply stared at the broken leg. "Oooooooh. That's gonna leave a mark." the doctor says, cringing upon looking at Ed's leg.

"And- And- And it was huge!" Evan exclaims to the police officer in front of him.

"And scary!" Jaren adds on with his friend.

"And it had huge feet!"

"And razor sharp teeth!"

"And it spat fire out like this! PFFT! PFFT!"

"We saw an actual dragon, man! We're not joking! It ate like a mountain lion or something and dropped it's leg on our car! Look for yourself!"

The officer in question leaned to the side to sure enough see their black SUV with a sunroof double parked in front of the police station, with driver window having been broken into. 'You boys realize that car has been reported stolen, right?" the officer asks the two guys with an annoyed expression.

Both men dumbly stared at the officer, not having thought their plan out thorough enough. "We were borrowing it?" Jaren says in an uncertain manner.

The officer continued to give them a skeptical look before he slightly closed his eyes, an expression that was a mixture of annoyance and determination plastered on his face. "Put your hands behind your back." he sternly tells the two.

(I shouldn't be allowed to make fanfictions lol.

I would like to point out that I had "altered" the personalities of the D-Team and the Alpha Gang, most notably the trio themselves.

Max is much more boastful and arrogant and more stubborn but still cares deeply about his friends. He is overconfident in his abilities and sees himself far superior to anyone else but still acknowledges that he needs help sometimes.

Rex has grown a more neutral and carefree personality, not really getting into fights as often and sees the right and wrong in everything and everyone, even going as far as to back away from fights, only playing peacekeeper when things get ugly.

Zoe developed a "trickster" like personality, often teasing her friends (most notably Max) and is highly protective of her older sister, much like when she was back in the anime, albeit in a more "mature" manner. She also has a 'done with everyone's shit' type part of her personality as well.

Ursula's personality is somewhat still the same as in the anime, just less angry and violent and has a more snarky taste to her wits.

Zander's is relatively normal until I can think of something.

Ed has the biggest personality change from the Alpha Trio. Ed has a more depressing and pathetic personality, probably because I gave him actual clinical depression to make him the "lovable big guy" type character. Don't worry, his sunshine time will happen soon.

I wanted to alter the personalities cuz, well, this is my story, and two years can really change a person's personality, ya know?

Also this chapter was a BITCH to make! I had to revise the story at least 4 times so I could get the right situation. Mostly the trailer rescue scene ripped off from Lost World. But come on, man, what better way to gain someone's trust whom didn't trust you before than rescuing them from a falling trailer like in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It's perfect!

Anyway, I had a lot of trouble trying to make the final climax scene make sense, mostly with Rex arriving at the trailer, Zoe asking where her sister is, the "must go faster" scene, and having the Alpha dinosaurs help. But hey, there major references to famous scenes from the original Jurassic Park trilogy in order. That's an achievement, right?

Guys?)
