In this chapter, our heroes are going to battle Terrence and Rebecca. We're also going to continue Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 2's battle with Peter and Amber. Who are Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 5 going to fight, you ask? You're about to find out.
And yes, they're no less powerful than Peter and Amber. You probably know this by now, but Terrence is the leader. Rebecca is number two...which you probably didn't know. Or maybe you did.
Sit back and watch the show...but don't be a slacker like Amber. She's not a good role model...but of course, she's one of Father's mightiest teen ninjas.
Chapter 12: Rock And Roll
Father sat on his chair, waiting for the T.R.A.P Squad to return. However, he was starting to feel rather impatient.
Could it be that were experiencing problems?
At that very moment, the Delightful Children From Down The Lane came in.
"Yes? Need something?" asked Father.
"Have your teen ninjas returned? We want to find out information about Sector V!" shouted the children.
They would love to blackmail Nigel Uno.
"They haven't." answered Father.
"Can we go retrieve the module then?" asked the children.
"You want to retrieve the module?" inquired the man.
"Yes! Anything for you!" nodded the evil kids.
"Alright then...but make it snappy!" exclaimed Father. Perhaps the T.R.A.P Squad couldn't be counted on for such a special task.
Although, he had to admit, their robbery was pretty impressive.
The children nodded and went to do just that.
"Where are Peter and Amber? They should be back by now!" exclaimed Rebecca.
"I'm starting to feel worried about them..." noted Terrence.
"They had better not have bailed out on us!" shouted the rock star.
Suddenly, they heard something.
"Could it be them?" asked the motorcyclist.
As it turned out, it wasn't.
It was the Delightful Children From Down The Lane. They were riding a mecha shaped like a lumberjack.
"It's Father's creepy children!" exclaimed Rebecca.
"What are they doing here?" asked Terrence.
"We're here for the module!" shouted the children.
"No way! We're not letting you take all the credit!" shouted the rock star.
"We'll give you a profit of the cut!" exclaimed the five of them.
"Alright. But you better not bail out on us." answered Terrence.
The five of them nodded.
"Wait, weren't there supposed to be four of you?" inquired the children.
"We sent Peter and Amber to deal with the kids next door...they were led by a bald kid with sunglasses..." explained Rebecca.
"We haven't seen them since!" exclaimed Terrence.
"Nigel Uno?" asked the evil children.
"That's his name?" inquired the rock star.
The five of them nodded.
"Do us a favor and take care of them for us, will you? We'll make it worth your while!" shouted the children.
"Your fingers aren't crossed behind their backs, are they?" asked Terrence.
The five of them shook their heads.
Rebecca checked behind their backs.
"Alright, you seem legit." nodded Rebecca.
The five of them took the module.
"Well, I guess we'll be on lookout." answered Terrence.
"If I see those kids, they're in for it!" exclaimed Rebecca.
Sure enough, Sector V was approaching.
"I have to admit, the Toiletnator could learn a thing or two from these guys." remarked Numbuh 5.
However, they were confused.
"Why did they stop?" asked Numbuh Three.
"I don't know, but we should seize this opportunity..." noted Numbuh Five.
"I don't think they have the module anymore..." said Numbuh One.
"What? Why not?" inquired the child in a green shirt.
"Boo." said Rebecca.
The three of them gasped.
"You want your module back? Guess what! We don't even have it any more!" exclaimed Terrence.
"Where is it?!" shouted Numbuh One.
"Cool your horses. It's with a delightful set of children." answered Rebecca.
"The Delightful Children From Down The Lane?!" bellowed the bald boy.
"Oh no!" exclaimed Numbuh Three.
"And unfortunately, they're not in the mood for visitors. Scram or get ready to fight!" shouted Rebecca.
The three of them simply went past them.
"Now that's just rude!" exclaimed the guitar player.
"Don't worry, we'll catch them." answered Terrence.
Terrence drove his motorcycle.
Rebecca shrugged and used her guitar as a flying surfboard.
The two of them began to chase them.
Quickly, Numbuh 5 set a trap for them.
"This cherry bomb should do the trick." noted Numbuh 5.
A cherry-shaped bomb had been placed where the two remaining members of the T.R.A.P Squad were headed.
Fortunately, it managed to catch one of them. It would have been better if it managed to catch both of them, but it was still a good result.
That person happened to be Terrence.
"Aargh!" exclaimed Terrence. Unfortunately, he was moving so fast he hadn't noticed the cherry bomb.
He began to lose his balance...right in front of a cliff.
The biker attempted to stretch out his arms...but that didn't work.
"Yes! Down he goes!" cheered Numbuh 5.
However, Terrence grabbed Numbuh 5's ankle as he began to fall.
She gasped.
"If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me!" bellowed the biker.
"This isn't going to end well for either of us..." noted Numbuh 5.
Both of them fell down the cliff.
"Oh no! Numbuh 5!" exclaimed Numbuh 3.
"Terrence! Oh wait, I bet he'll be fine." answered Rebecca. He was the strongest of the four, after all. That's one of the reasons why he was in charge. She was the runner-up in that department.
Numbuh One frowned.
"It's just you and me, Numbuh 3..." said the boy wearing shades.
"Yeah...and the scary girl with an electric guitar..." nodded Numbuh 3.
"What?!" shouted Numbuh One.
Sure enough, Rebecca was approaching them.
"I've had enough of you brats!" exclaimed Rebecca.
She grabbed her guitar surfboard, and she changed it back into a normal guitar. A relatively normal one, that is.
She then pulled a string on her guitar.
Recalling being pelted with a barrage of bubblegum that could potentially restrain Peter, Numbuh One knew that, while he did not know what exactly the guitar did, it was a very powerful weapon.
Sure enough, Numbuh One found a music note being launched at him.
He narrowly avoided it.
"Phew!" exclaimed Numbuh One.
However, he found himself being hit by another one.
The blast knocked the sunglasses off his face.
"I may not be a music teacher, but I will teach you how effective a weapon music can be!" shouted Rebecca.
She then played a few strands of the guitar.
Shortly afterwards, Numbuh One and Numbuh Three narrowly avoided being struck by energy bolts.
"How are we going to stop her?" asked Numbuh Three.
"We've made it too far to give up now. The rest of the KND NEED us!" shouted Numbuh One.
Suddenly, Numbuh 3 dropped her Rainbow Monkey doll.
"Whoops!" exclaimed Numbuh Three.
Curious, Rebecca decided to have a look.
"You play with Rainbow Monkey dolls? Those are totally lame! I stopped playing with those when I was five!" shouted Rebecca.
"What?!" exclaimed Numbuh 3, anger being clearly present in her voice.
"I'm surprised the company that made them hasn't gone bankrupt!" bellowed the guitar player.
"What did you say?!" shouted the brunette girl.
"If you ask me, the only good use for a Rainbow Monkey Doll is fireplace fodder." remarked Rebecca.
This was the last straw for the third agent of Sector V.
"That does it!" bellowed Numbuh 3.
Numbuh 3 pulled out her teddy bear blaster.
Rebecca looked at her.
"You're picking a fight with me?! I'm the second-in-command of a team of elite teen ninjas!" exclaimed the guitar player.
"Numbuh One?" asked Numbuh Three.
"Yes, Kuki?" inquired Numbuh 1.
"It's up to you to get back that module!" nodded the girl. The future of the KND could very well be at stake.
Nigel nodded. Everyone was counting on him.
He decided to leave.
"You're leaving? Eh, I'm sure the kids with the annoying long title want to fight you themselves anyway." noted Rebecca.
She turned to Numbuh 3 as Numbuh One left.
"You're about to experience the sourest note that you've ever heard!" bellowed the rock star.
Meanwhile...
Fortunately for Numbuh 5, she wasn't injured by the fall, though it was a scary experience. She had landed in some soft sand.
"Thank goodness..." remarked Numbuh 5.
However, she discovered that Terrence was on his feet as well.
He went to his motorcycle and boarded it.
The leader of the TRAP squad then started the engine.
"Congratulations! You get the honor of fighting the leader of the TRAP squad...also known as Terrence!" exclaimed Terrence. Even Cree respected his strength...even if he wasn't the leader of the Teen Ninjas. He was the leader of an elite team of them though.
"I guess Numbuh 5 isn't the only one who speaks in third person..." remarked Numbuh 5.
Terrence pulled out a paintball gun.
"Let's see if you can keep up with me!" exclaimed Terrence.
"That's going to be a challenge." noted the girl with the red cap.
Terrence drove around on his motorcycle, shooting at him the entire time.
It was rather impressive that he could fire accurately while moving that quickly.
He wasn't as good of a shot as Amber was, but he was still a good shot.
Numbuh 5 attempted to hit him...but the sheer speed that he was moving made him a difficult target.
"Rest assured, this is going to be more fun than watching paint dry!" exclaimed Terrence.
"For you, maybe. I'm not so sure about Numbuh 5." stated Numbuh 5.
Unfortunately, she ended up being hit by one of the shots. Being hit by that paintball gun actually hurt.
Also, she got paint on her shirt.
"Ow!" exclaimed Numbuh 5. "Aw man, I liked that shirt!"
Then again, she had a bunch of shirts like that at home...and at the treehouse.
"Even the other T.R.A.P. squad members have trouble keeping up with me!" remarked Terrence as he continued to ride his motorcycle.
Numbuh 5 took cover behind a rock.
"Why doesn't that surprise me?" asked Numbuh 5.
Terrence pressed a button on his motorcycle, and miniature rockets homed in on Numbuh 5.
She gasped and narrowly avoided them. A blast like that would send her flying...potentially into a tree. Which would hurt. Very much.
"I'm having a blast...or should I say you are?" asked Terrence.
"Kingdom Come isn't my favorite kingdom, thank you very much." answered Numbuh 5.
"Guess who the king is? It's me!" exclaimed the biker.
The girl wearing a red hat rolled her eyes.
Meanwhile...
Numbuh 4 noted that the Gatorade made Peter much more aggressive. It was clearly increasing his combat prowess. Apparently, in the event that Peter was NOT beating his opponent to the ground, he could use it to increase his strength. Wally was proving himself to be stronger than most of the opponents that Peter had faced previously, so now seemed like a good time to use it.
"Peter mad! Peter smash! Peter feel like speaking in third person!" exclaimed Peter.
"Whatever happened to speaking in first person?" asked Numbuh 4.
"I don't know. I guess I found it boring..." noted the jock.
Numbuh 4 shrugged.
"Now where was I? Ah yes!" shouted Peter.
Peter gave the blonde boy a wedgie. A painful one.
"Oww!" shouted Wally.
"Can you guess how many kids I've given a wedgie?" asked the jock.
"I don't know. I'm not good at math." answered Numbuh 4.
"Well, to be honest, I don't quite remember. But it's not a small number, I can tell you that!" assured Peter.
Wally shot Peter with mustard from his M.U.S.K.E.T.
"Hey! Watch the face!" nodded Peter.
He then followed by pelting him with ketchup.
"You're turning me into a hamburger!" bellowed the boy.
"Considering you most likely eat a lot of food on account on being a jock, you shouldn't be complaining so much!" exclaimed Numbuh 4.
Peter slammed his hands against the ground, creating a green shockwave.
"Whoa!" shouted Numbuh 4.
Elsewhere...
Numbuh 4 frantically attempted to avoid being hit by Amber's icy mint-flavored bubble gum.
All of a sudden, the forest he was fighting in was starting to feel...cooler.
"You're about to learn how a snowman feels!" exclaimed Amber.
"But it's not winter!" shouted Hoagie.
"Well, it might as well be!" answered the teenage girl.
"Now that I think of it, I wouldn't mind some ice cream right about now!" noted Numbuh 2. He loved going out for ice cream after a mission. Then again, maybe it was a bit too early for that.
Suddenly, one of the bubblegum blasts hit Numbuh 2.
"Brrr!" shouted Numbuh 2. Unsurprisingly, being hit by that made him cold.
He could still eat the bubblegum, but it wasn't as easy to eat as the bubblegum Amber had originally attacked him with.
It was clear that she was no longer going easy on him.
He noted that for some strange reason Amber seemed to want to keep her distance away from him. He wasn't quite sure why.
If he had to guess, she wasn't as good as close-ranged combat as she was at long-range combat. Chances are she could create close-range weapons with her taffy, however. She DID create that cannon.
Outside Father's mansion...
"Yes! We're almost here!" shouted the Delightful Children From Down The Lane.
However, there was one person stopping them.
Key word being one.
"Numbuh One! What a pleasant surprise!" shouted the children.
They had been hoping simply to deliver the module themselves...but getting revenge on their archenemy was a big bonus.
"You're not getting the module back!" exclaimed the delightfuls.
"I'm sending it back to the Moon Base, Delightful Dorks!" shouted Numbuh One.
"We're going to send you back to the moon base!" taunted the children.
Meanwhile...
Phineas and Ferb set out to help Sector V.
Something told them that Numbuh One could use their help.
So help they did.
"Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!" exclaimed Phineas.
Ferb nodded in agreement. He knew what they were going to do today as well.
It was time to be heroes...just like Sector V.
Since mint-flavored gum tends to taste cold...I figured why not give Amber the power to manipulate ice? I could give her the power to manipulate fire...but that doesn't seem to suit her personality. I think it might suit Rebecca's though.
Don't diss Numbuh 3's Rainbow Monkey dolls!
