In this chapter, Sector V is going to continue their fights with the T.R.A.P. Squad. That's what you want, right? We just might get to see the conclusion to at least one of them. Hopefully they can win because the members of the group keep pulling out nastier tricks up their sleeve.

Chapter 13: Robots In Disguise

Numbuh Four quickly attempted to avoid Peter. The Gatorade had increased his aggression and had made him all the more effective in combat.

Fortunately, it seemed that time was on his side.

He noticed that as Peter continued to chase him, his skin gradually became less and less green.

Numbuh Four decided he would stall for time. The longer he drew out the fight, the weaker the effects of the Gatorade would become.

And if it wore off completely, Peter would be vulnerable.

He dodged Peter's soccer ball, ducked underneath his baseball bat, and leapt away from Peter's bouncing basketball...like a kangaroo.

This worked surprisingly well.

Eventually, Peter's Gatorade wore off.

He gasped.

"What happened to my Gatorade?" asked Peter.

It should have lasted long enough for him to beat Numbuh Four.

And yet, it had worn off, and the blonde boy was still standing.

"I guess it left your system!" exclaimed Wally.

It became apparent to him that he was losing this fight, as hard to believe as it was.

His eyes began to widen with fear. Could it be that he not only was one of his victims fighting back against him, but actually winning?

"You...you stalled for time, didn't you?" asked Peter, pointing his finger at Numbuh Four.

"Sure did." nodded Numbuh Four.

"Ugh, I was hoping you'd be a dumb blonde. But considering who my teammate Amber is, I probably should have known better." acknowledged Peter.

"Uh-huh!" exclaimed the blonde boy. Of course, people said that as a brunette Numbuh Three didn't live up to their expectations either.

Perhaps he had underestimated Numbuh Four.

However, he would not express his fear towards his opponent. He might see it as a sign of weakness...

...and Peter wanted Numbuh Four to feel that he was weaker than he was, not the other way around.

He decided that it was time to use his best weapon, and start fighting Numbuh Four with his full strength.

Besides, he actually enjoyed playing with him.

Peter summoned a sports blimp. He was surprised that Numbuh Four had managed to push him this far.

Numbuh Four gasped.

"I applaud you for your strength. Not many would dare to stare up to me. In fact, the only people who are willing to do so are my very own teammates." noted Peter.

Though generally speaking, he typically got along with his teammates. If he didn't, Terrence would never include him in his group. He did wish that Amber would try working out like he did though. She was a real coach potato.

But it's time we end this, once and for all!" exclaimed Peter.

The sports blimp opened fire, firing tennis balls from its cannons.

Quickly, Numbuh Four went behind a rock to take cover.

"Hahahahaha! I just love the look on your face!" exclaimed Peter.

Numbuh Four pulled out a BOTTLECAP.

"Hmm?" asked Peter.

Numbuh Four began to shoot at the blimp, damaging it.

Peter's fist tightened.

He was throwing everything he had at Numbuh 4, yet he still wasn't giving up.

The blimp began to drop soccer balls.

But for some strange reason, Numbuh Four couldn't help but shake the feeling that they WEREN'T ordinary soccer balls.

He wondered what was going on.

He began to hear beeping.

Suddenly, he realized what those soccer balls were.

They were bombs!

"AAAH!" screamed Numbuh Four as he was sent flying by a large explosion.

"Hahahahaha!" laughed the teenage boy.

Numbuh Four landed on his face.

"Did you really think you could beat me? ME? One of Father's best teen ninjas?! That was just a feeble dreams. And your friends have a fat chance of beating my teammates. Especially the chubby one. Heh heh." remarked Peter.

Wally tightened his fist, but remained on the ground.

"Though I will admit, you came way closer to beating me than those kids at the Arctic Base." admitted the teenage boy.

This actually made him somewhat.

"But you know what? You haven't been exactly an open target. I think I'll go visit that girl in the green shirt and black hair. I bet making her cry would be EASY." noted Peter.

This angered Numbuh Four enough to make him rise off his feet.

"What's that? You're still fighting? You do not know when to quit." noted Peter.

Curious, Numbuh Four noticed that a few of the soccer bombs had yet to go off.

He decided to take his chances and pick them up...

"What are y-"

...and then throw them at the blimp.

The explosions caused Peter's flying carrier to descend.

"Noooo!" exclaimed the jock.

The blimp crashed into the ground.

Peter came out, looking rather dazed.

Seizing his opportunity to finish the fight, Numbuh Four pummeled Peter with his fists.

He collapsed to the ground.

"How could I lose...to this shrimp?" asked Peter.

With that, he fell unconscious.

Numbuh Four wondered if the KND would come to pick him up to take him to the Moon Base.

It would be a good idea.

He decided to rest after the fight. He could try to catch up with the others, but to be honest, he was too exhausted to continue fighting.

Amber summoned a giant gummy bear.

Numbuh Two looked up.

"That is the biggest gummy bear that I have ever seen..." noted Numbuh Two.

"How about a bearhug?" asked Amber, a nasty grin on her face.

The gummy bear let out a roar, and stretched out its arms.

"Aah!" exclaimed the chubby boy.

The gummy bear chased after him.

Numbuh Two paused for a moment, catching his breath.

"How do I stop it?" asked the boy. He couldn't just beat up the gummy bear with his fists. It had many, many pounds on him. Even though HE himself was a heavyweight. And his fists would probably bounce off of it anyway.

Surely a gummy bear would have a weakness, even if it were giant.

However, he then noticed that there was a sharp-looking rock nearby.

Perhaps it could be useful.

Sure enough, the giant bear was getting ready to step on him with its right leg.

"They have good medical care at the KND Moon Base, don't they? I sure hope so for your sake." taunted the gum chewer.

Quickly, Numbuh Two threw the rock at its left leg.

This caused its left leg to deflate.

The gummy bear inevitably began to fall.

Amber slid off the gummy bear in the process.

However, it fell on top of Numbuh Two.

"That wasn't what I was expecting to happen...but it works in my favor, doesn't it?" asked Amber.

Now that Numbuh Two was incapacitated, Amber decided to leave.

But unbeknownst to her, Numbuh Two managed to eat his way through the fallen gummy bear.

He let out a burp.

As he did so, the gummy bear dissolved into gummy slush.

"I hope that Terrence and Rebecca will be proud of me...that way I can go take a snooze without Rebecca yelling at me..." noted Amber.

Her slacker tendencies really cheesed her off. Terrence was more tolerant of it in at least. Though he insisted that Amber not make the rest of the squad do all the work.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of Numbuh Two gasping in astonishment.

"Huh?" asked Amber.

"How many times am I going to lose my balance?" inquired Numbuh Two. He was starting to become afraid of climbing down the stairs at the KND Treehouse. Numbuh Five reminded him that there was a handrail that he could use.

Amber panicked and attempted to run away.

But unfortunately, her years of inactivity eventually caught up with her.

Well, that and she tripped.

Shortly afterwards, Numbuh Two flattened Amber underneath his bulk.

"Well, this was a...nice battle of wits..." noted Amber.

Amber passed out on the floor.

"I did it! I beat her!" exclaimed Numbuh Two.

Though Amber was not as strong as Father himself, Numbuh Two considered her to be one of the strongest opponents that he had ever faced. And yes, that was after he had met Peter.

Although, if Amber decided to fight him at close-range, perhaps the fight would have been over sooner.

He decided that perhaps he should reunite with his others.

However, he quickly noticed that Amber still had a lot of leftover bubble gum.

Perhaps he could help himself first.

"This is some good stuff right here! No wonder she chewed it so much!" remarked Numbuh Two.

"Hold still, why don't you?" asked Rebecca as she fired lightning bolts from her guitar.

She wondered if Amber ever had this much trouble aiming at a target. Last time she checked, she was a pretty good shot. She would give her that much, even if she hated it whenever she slacked off on missions.

Numbuh 3 noticed that while Rebecca's energy blasts were quick, if she looked closely at Rebecca as she played her guitar, her fingers telegraphed her attacks.

That was something she could use to her advantage.

"Why can't I hit you?" inquired the teenage girl.

It started to occur to her that perhaps Numbuh 3 was memorizing her finger movements.

But that couldn't be right.

Her opponent Numbuh Three was a total ditz...

...wasn't she?

Eventually, Rebecca's GUITAR began to overheat.

Seemed that she had used it a bit too much.

"Aah!" exclaimed Rebecca. Fortunately for her, she didn't drop it. That would only land in disaster.

For a brief moment, she was vulnerable.

Numbuh 3 pulled out her teddy bear launcher.

"Teddy...bears?" inquired the girl.

Numbuh 3 fired the teddy bears at Rebecca.

Rebecca screeched as she was pelted by them.

She never thought teddy bears would make for a good weapon.

Then again, they were based off of real-life bears.

Rebecca growled at Numbuh Three.

"Alright, you've made me mad. And trust me, you're not going to like me now that I'm angry..." noted Rebecca.

"I didn't like you before you were angry..." pointed out Numbuh Three.

Rebecca sighed.

"Well, you're going to like me even less than before." answered the rock star.

Suddenly, she summoned several boomboxes.

Numbuh Three could tell that there were some above her, some below her, some in front of her, some beside her, and some behind her.

She wondered what was going on.

Suddenly, one of the boomboxes in front of her let out a large sound wave that nearly knocked Numbuh Three off her feet.

This was followed by a boombox above her attacking her from above.

"This isn't good...now she can attack from any direction..." noted Numbuh Three.

How was she going to defend herself now? She didn't have 360 vision...though it would be cool if she did.

There was no way to know which boombox would attack her next.

Meanwhile, Numbuh Five was still facing Terrence.

"I better make this count." said Numbuh Five, aiming at Terrence's motorcycle.

Numbuh 5 launched gumballs at him from her gumball gun.

It was difficult to hit him as he was moving so fast, but one of them hit the wheel.

The motorcycle began to swerve out of control.

Unsurprisingly, its rider took notice.

"What is going on?" asked Terrence.

Whatever it was, it couldn't be good.

Terrence was knocked off his motorcycle.

"Oof!" exclaimed Terrence.

He rolled around for a moment before he stopped moving.

Terrence was mildly injured, but he was still conscious.

Quickly, he helped himself to his feet.

It was a good thing he always wore his helmet.

The sand they were fighting on was soft, but he didn't feel like taking risks. His comrade Peter was more of a risk-taker by comparison.

"Now what could have stopped me in my tracks?" asked Terrence.

He noticed the gumball wedged in the wheel, and set to work removing it with a wrench.

"She's good." thought Terrence to himself.

"Not so fast without your motorcycle, are you?" asked Numbuh Five.

"To be honest, I'm actually a fast runner even without my motorbike..." noted Terrence.

Terrence began to run in place to make that point. It was kind of strange, but it was apparent that he was fast.

"I guess you're right..." answered the black-haired girl.

"Not bad! You're a talented KND agent! But let me let you in on a little secret..." said the biker.

"Oh. What secret would that be?" asked the girl in the red hat.

"I actually DON'T need to be riding my bike in order to be controlling it..." explained Terrence.

Numbuh Five was confused. She raised an eyebrow.

Suddenly, Terrence pulled out a remote and pressed a button.

Terrence's motorbike then began to move on its own.

Numbuh Five was surprised at the occurrence.

Was the...motorcycle secretly a robot?

She was again surprised when she heard the motorcycle speak.

"Greetings, master. How may I help you?" asked a feminine robotic voice.

"Meet SASHA. Super Awesome Supersonic Hasty Accelerator. Like her? I made her myself." inquired Terrence.

"That's pretty impressive. But can Numbuh Five ask you a question?" asked Numbuh Five.

"Yes?" asked the biker.

"If you could make your bike come to life, why didn't you do it before?" inquired the girl.

"It's actually more fun for me to ride the bike than command her to fight my enemies. Besides, she doesn't have an infinite battery." acknowledged Terrence.

"Fair enough." nodded Numbuh 5.

"Now then, where was I? Ah yes. Sasha, attack Numbuh Five! At least, that's what she calls herself." exclaimed the motorcyclist. He wasn't sure what her family name was.

"At once, my master." nodded Sasha.

At once, Sasha fired a laser at Numbuh Five.

Numbuh Five gasped and leapt out of the way.

"Wah!" exclaimed Numbuh Five.

Terrence then followed by firing several rounds from his paintball gun at Numbuh Five.

"Maybe black is more your color." noted Terrence. He knew it was HIS color.

"Maybe." answered Numbuh Five.

Unfortunately, he was a much better shot when he was OFF the motorbike. And he wasn't a bad shot even when he was riding the motorbike to begin with.

Numbuh Five was just barely able to take cover. She was lucky that she was so quick on her feet.

She sighed in relief...

...but it didn't last long, because Sasha destroyed the rock that she was hiding behind with another laser.

She gasped in alarm. She was exposed - again!

"Sorry, but machines don't feel pity. Especially not for KND agents! Get ready to be humiliated!" exclaimed Terrence.

"I guess even he has a sadistic side..." noted Numbuh 5.

Could she defeat the leader of the T.R.A.P. Squad? It was becoming rather apparent why he was the leader, though she knew from experience that the others weren't slouches, either.

Meanwhile...

The Delightfuls fired a beam from their robot at Numbuh One.

He took cover.

Unfortunately, he was at a bit of a disadvantage.

He didn't have a robot that he could use to fight the Delightfuls.

They had made the decision of pursuing the T.R.A.P. Squad on foot. It probably wasn't a good idea...but they didn't have much time to prepare before the teens began to make their way towards Father's mansion.

Still, even if Numbuh One didn't have a robot of his own to counter the Delightful Children, to do nothing would allow them to deliver the KND Module to Father.

He would keep on fighting.

"Bring it on, Delightful Dorks!" exclaimed Numbuh One.

"Don't mind if we do!" shouted the Delightful Children.

Things sure have gotten exciting, haven't they? You probably weren't expecting the giant gummy bear or the sports blimp. But I figured it was about time to witness the four's full power.

In the next chapter...well, the battle between Peter and Amber is over. But REBECCA AND terrence are still in the game. And so are the Delightfuls. Can THEY be defeated?
