In this chapter, Candace is going to get to work.
Somehow, I don't think you're going to like her work.
After all, this fanfic is about how you shouldn't bully kids, more or less.
Can she be stopped?
She does have a weakness. You might know that if you've watched Phineas and Ferb long enough. Though I'm not one of the writers for the show.
I do write fanfics for it though. Otherwise, I wouldn't be writing this one.
Chapter 15: You Are Busted
At a house in the suburbs, a child was receiving a reminder.
A reminder to keep up with his school work. It'd be good if he could get his grades up. That way his teachers would be proud of him. And of course, he would pass school. Elementary school was kind of important.
"Remember to do your homework, Johnny!" exclaimed a mother to her son. Wouldn't want him to get bad grades. His teacher would be disappointed with him if he was.
Johnny nodded. Johnny was a boy who had red hair. He also had green eyes. He was wearing a yellow shirt.
He was about 11 years old...which was unfortunately only two years away from the KND decommissioning age.
But it didn't really matter since he hadn't signed up for the KND. They has already recruited a fresh squad of recruits recently, so it would probably be a while before they recruited more. Though if people volunteered, they would consider their applications.
However, unbeknownst to his parents, his fingers were crossed behind his back. He didn't really intend to do his homework.
And yes, he had lied to his own parents. That was shameful.
"Homework? Please. I'm going to read my comic books." noted Johnny.
He had just gotten a few of them recently.
And he got the feeling they would be worth a look.
He did just that.
Suddenly, he felt the urge to use the restroom.
Johnny decided he would go to the restroom and THEN read the comics.
Luckily, he remembered to wash his hands.
So his parents wouldn't scold him for that one.
He also flushed the toilet as well. It was important to remember to do that.
But when he returned, he discovered something horrible had happened.
He pressed his hands against the side of his head, and his eyes widened in horror.
"My comic books! Noooooo!" screamed John.
They had all been torn to shreds!
Who could have done this? He knew he didn't have a dog, and even if he did, his parents likely would housebreak him. So he wouldn't need to worry about something like that happening.
Unbeknownst to him, somebody had left a window open. He was too busy mourning the loss of his comic books to notice.
As he cried over the loss of his comic books, a Teen Ninja with red hair left the scene through that very same window.
Her work was done.
The next day, Number One decided to watch the news.
Things seemed peaceful after they had recovered the KND Module, but he wanted to make sure. He felt like one should never take peace for granted. Though perhaps Numbuh 3 disagreed.
The anchor and Numbuh 10 had a positive expression on their faces, which was a good sign.
"Thanks to the efforts of Sector V, we've recovered the KND Code Module!" cheered the anchor. It certainly was going to be a day that the KND remembered fondly.
Numbuh One sighed in relief.
However, the newsanchor and Numbuh 10's expression changed to a frown.
The boy who always wore shades wondered why that was.
Wasn't it time to be celebrating? The Kids Next Door was still standing thanks to their efforts, was it not?
Something told him that the newsanchor had bad news.
"Unfortunately, all is not well with the KND. While we've dealt a major blow to Father, he's recruited a new teen ninja to help replace what he lost." explained Numbuh 10.
"That cad!" exclaimed the bald boy. He never renounced his evil ways, did he? Though he did know where he got it from at least.
"This teen ninja is different from the rest. While Teen Ninjas typically enjoy tormenting kids for the thrill of it, this teen ninja seeks to punish children for their wrongdoings." continued the anchor.
"I seem to have left a candy wrapper on the sidewalk." noted a kid named Mike. He was a redhead, like Agent 86. But people seemed to like him better than her.
"Eh, it's no big deal."
Suddenly, Candace dumped a bunch of garbage on him.
She was in silhouette.
And yes, the KND did not know who she was.
"Gaaaahhh!" screamed Mike.
Now he absolutely reeked.
It looked like he was going to be taking a shower.
Numbuh One was alarmed at the footage.
This teen ninja sounded like trouble.
Then again, when were they anything but trouble?
"Now, you're probably thinking. What's so bad about that? What's wrong with bringing misbehaving kids to justice? Well, while the children in question weren't on their best behavior, none of them did anything to write home about." noted the anchor boy.
"And as young Jimmy found out when he ate ice cream before dinner, while the offenses may be minor, her punishment of them is anything but!" exclaimed Numbuh 10.
Jimmy had blonde hair and wore a green shirt. And blue pants.
"Help!" screamed the boy, who was trapped inside a giant popsicle. Strawberry-flavored, to be specific.
He was going to need to spend some time in a hot room after that.
Luckily, the KND had a room like that. Though technically he wasn't a KND agent. If he was, he would be more equipped to handle this sort of situation.
Numbuh One decided to turn the TV off.
He felt like he had seen enough. After all, he already knew what was going on.
Understandably, Nigel Uno was displeased with the turn of events.
How could one do such things to children over petty reasons? He could only imagine what their parents thought about it.
"This is a mockery of what the KND stand for..." noted Number One. He couldn't allow this to continue. There were children in danger.
They didn't punish people simply for speaking loudly at the library. Everyone made mistakes. Personally Numbuh One felt that this teen ninja had made a mistake of harming innocent children.
Hopefully things would be straightened out.
Unfortunately, he didn't know where the new teen ninja would strike next. And he didn't know who this teen ninja was either.
There didn't seem to be any pattern. At least not yet.
Meanwhile...
"Did you hear what's going on?" asked Phineas.
"Yeah. Who could be doing all these crazy things?" inquired Isabella. She wanted answers.
"I don't know, but anyone who so much as forget to brush their teeth isn't safe." noted Baljeet. It would be best if they spent the next few days living in caution. They weren't sure when or if the culprit would be caught.
Perhaps they should consider putting the treehouse under lockdown until the teen ninja is caught. They had that security system for a reason. It wasn't unlike the one Sector V had.
There was an arctic prison where the criminal could be detained.
He should be prepared in case he accidentally left the fridge open...lest he end up being zapped with a freeze ray.
And like Numbuh One, they didn't know who would be next.
There were a lot of potential victims.
However, they had a rough idea as to where the Teen Ninja was.
That was helpful at least.
Perhaps they should search Danville for any signs of the Teen Ninja.
The sooner she was stopped, the better.
Elsewhere...
"Hey Candace, I haven't seen you in a while." remarked Jeremy.
"Oh, I've been busy making the world a better place." noted Candace.
Though her idea of making the world a better place was different from the KND's. A lot different. The Teen Ninjas approved of her work though. So at least that was something.
Anyways, she just so happened to enjoy her new job.
Of course, Jeremy's definition of making the world a better place was very different than hers as well.
"I'm glad to hear that." remarked the blonde boy.
Jeremy left.
Candace decided to contact Cree.
"How goes your work at bringing kids to justice?" asked Cree.
Currently, she wasn't out on the field.
Personally she liked her definition of justice.
She didn't see why she punished children because of them not cleaning their rooms...but she had to admit, the punishments were pretty creative.
Perhaps she should consider punishing Numbuh One this way.
Meanwhile, Phineas was studying footage of the teen ninja punishing children.
There had to be a pattern of some kind.
The problem was that he couldn't find one.
"Nuh-uh, there's no way I'm eating my vegetables!" exclaimed a girl named Penny, shaking her head back and forth.
Suddenly, a mutant broccoli monster attacked her.
"Aaaahhhh!" screamed the girl, who quickly fled.
Nearby, Candace let out a laugh.
That mutant formula she made had come in handy.
If she knew she was under investigation however, she probably wouldn't be laughing so hard.
"Hmm, this teen ninja has an awfully long neck..." remarked Phineas.
He knew somebody like that, but who?
He wasn't sure.
Sector V was currently checking the reports.
But there didn't seem to be a pattern.
A few hours later, Phineas was trying to figure out where the culprit would strike next.
He knew that she punished kids for their bad behavior.
So perhaps he should concentrate his efforts on somewhere where children liked to frequent.
He got an idea.
Maybe he would go to the park.
That seemed like a good place to find her.
"Hopefully I can put an end to all this." noted Phineas.
If he didn't take action, more kids were going to get hurt.
Sure enough, there was a kid who was being naughty.
He was leaving bubblegum on a chair in the park.
Which wasn't unlike what a certain member of the TRAP Squad would do.
Candace decided to target him.
"Well, lucky for me, I happen to know your weakness!" exclaimed Phineas.
"Oh really?" asked Candace.
Phineas started throwing parsnips at the girl.
"No! Not that!" exclaimed the teenage girl, her eyes widening in fear.
She was allergic.
She was also allergic to dairy...which was unfortunate given milkshakes tasted nice.
Luckily for the teen ninja, she was rather agile.
Phineas didn't seem to be in a short supply of them though.
Candace threw a Ducky Momo doll at him.
It was a killer doll.
"Aaahhhhh! Get off!" demanded Phineas.
"Ducky Momo loves being evil!" exclaimed the doll.
Luckily, he was able to shake it off.
Afterwards, he kept firing.
This time, his aim struck true.
This was too much for Candace, and she collapsed on the floor. It looked like her days of busting kids were over.
"Whew!" said Phineas.
He didn't feel like hurting his sister, but if he let his sister wander free, she would continue tormenting kids.
She might even torment his friends. He didn't like thinking about Isabella getting hurt.
Maybe his half-brother would be safe though.
Shortly afterwards, Candace was captured.
"It looks as if Candace herself has been busted." remarked Ferb.
"I had to do it." answered Phineas.
"I'll get out of here, and when I get out, I'm busting all of you!" exclaimed Candace.
She had been placed in a strait jacket.
"I guess we can only hope she doesn't get out." remarked Buford.
"No offense Phineas, but your sister is a lunatic." noted Baljeet. Her insanity would probably haunt him while he slept in their treehouse.
"I don't know why she turned to the dark side." remarked Phineas.
Why couldn't she join the light side like they did?
It didn't seem hard to do.
He heard a rumor that there was a TND somewhere.
But they were decidedly more secretive than the KND were.
Perhaps they didn't want the Teen Ninjas to find out. So they could attack their headquarters.
As a reward for what he had done, Phineas received a medal.
It made him feel proud.
Still, it made him upset that his sister was the culprit.
He decided to take a seat.
Numbuh 5 noticed.
"What's wrong?" asked Abby.
"My sister went bad." explained Phineas.
"I know how that feels." spoke the girl with the red cap.
The young boy was happy to know he wasn't alone.
Hopefully his brother would remain a good guy.
And not become a sith lord.
That would be scary.
You might be surprised I made Candace a villain...but she does have that obsession with busting her brothers. She probably wouldn't mind busting others as well.
Well, she won't be bothering anyone else...for a while.
Maybe next chapter I'll feature the Crazy Cat Lady.
I'm open to ideas.
