Kamino Ward Hospital (Day)
"All Might." Dominic said, opening the door to the hero's room. Sitting beside the former powerhouse was Gran Torino and Detective Tsukauchi.
"Young Xiao-Long, what are you doing here?" the hero asked, surprised. His student was heavily injured from the Kamino incident, and had to wear a superheated cast on his arm to repair it. He also had several heat-resistant bandages covering what remained of his puncture wounds.
"It's about Shimura Nana." the boy said, pulling up a chair and sitting down. His words silenced everyone else. "I take it you know about Shigaraki's parentage, then."
"How did you find out about that?" Tsukauchi asked, caught completely off-guard.
"It was a little before the attack on the camp." Dominic said. "Tell me, what do any of you know about alternate planes of reality?" Nobody answered, mainly because they were still reeling from the shock of the boy knowing Nana's name. "There exists a dimension known as the Dream World, where all dreams take physical shape. During my time at camp, I was able to sync with Shigaraki's dreams and I saw the event that turned him into a villain."
"Tsukauchi, is he telling the truth?" Gran Torino asked his student's friend.
"I can't believe it, but he is." the man revealed.
"So, you saw what happened to make him hate heroes?" All Might asked, still agonizing over the revelation that the blue-haired man was related to his master.
"Yes." Dominic said. "What I don't understand, though, is why his mother wasn't there." The temperature in the room steadily increased, and the boy's golden hair began to glow. "Where. Was. She?" he slowly asked, staring directly at All Might.
"After her husband was killed, she sent her son into foster care. She didn't want him to be endangered by anyone looking for her." All Might confessed. "She forbid us from seeing her family, even if something terrible happened to her."
"...I've heard enough." Dominic said, standing up and walking towards the door. Before leaving, he addressed the humans one last time. "Anyone who abandons their child does not deserve to be called a mother. I don't feel sorry for what happened to her in the slightest."
With that, the boy left and the temperature returned to normal, leaving the humans to dwell on his words.
Ruined Home (Day)
When Dominic was released from the hospital, he returned to his temporary abode. After the attack on it, much of it was in shambles, but the gigantic catacombs below still provided a half-suitable home for him, Eri, the Shinso siblings, and his Pokemon.
And apparently, he had a visitor. Morticia was waiting by the front gate. "Oh, hey, Xiao-Long!" she greeted, waving her arm.
"Uh, you're from Team Flare, right?" the boy asked, recognizing the outfit. Midoriya and Todoroki told him about a strange girl who helped them during the attack on the camp. They told him she used a Pokemon, but he'd never imagined she'd be from Team Flare.
"Yep! Boss sent me here to check on you." Morticia said.
"You know what, I'm too tired for this. Just come in and we can talk after I have breakfast." Dominic said, motioning for her to follow. The two of them walked into the basement entrance, traveling to the room Dominic turned into the new kitchen. After he ate, he talked with his new guest.
"Boss told me to give you this." Morticia said, handing Dominic a red Holo Caster. "He said he'd call you with it." And right on cue, the Holo Caster began to ring.
Dominic held it in front of him, and the holographic image of a man with a mane of orange hair appeared, wearing a bright red suit. This was Lysandre, boss of Team Flare. "Hello again, Dominic Xiao-Long." the man said. "I take it you've had an eventful couple of days?"
"Yeah, if you count being waterboarded as eventful." the boy shot back. "I'm guessing you came to this world through a bright light, right?"
"Exactly." Lysandre said. "It was during a trip to the Johto Region. My plane was engulfed in light and the next thing I knew, I was in the middle of the ocean with a handful of Grunts and two Admins."
'Still can't see the correlation.' Dominic thought to himself. What was the variable tying each instance together? "Where are you right now?"
"I'm running a tech company based in Hosu, but that's not important right now." Lysandre said in an urgent tone. "The villain who captured you, All For One, was being manipulated by someone."
That got Dominic's attention. "Do you know who?" he asked.
"Not at the moment, but my Admins are working to find out." the man said. "But until that happens, I'm leaving Morticia with you for the time being."
"WHAT!?" both blondes shouted.
"She needs to remain close to you in the event anything else happens to your home." Lysandre explained. "It's unlikely, but there's always the chance the villain pulling the strings could attempt to attack you directly. Besides, I figured that you'd like having someone else under your command."
'Okay, he's right about that.' Dominic mentally admitted. "Fine. It would help to have another set of hands to help rebuild things."
"As expected." Lysandre said with a slight smile. "Morticia, you and Crobat should study how Dominic battles. You might learn something."
"You got it, Boss!" the girl said, grinning.
"Until the next time we meet, au revoir." Lysandre said, ending the transmission.
AN: Was anybody missing from the last few chapters? I could've sworn Shigaraki had another follower in the canon...
