A/N: And here's the other half of the previous chapter, as promised. It's... well, you'll see. It was way longer as a whole hahaha. I hope you like it!

Opening Song:

"The Beginning" by One OK Rock

Izuku heaved a heavy breath in, feeling the cool air chill his lungs.

He looked up at the white armored student that walked up to him.

"Best of luck to you, Midoriya," Iida said with a wave as he disappeared through the entrance of the building, followed closely by Bakugo.

"Thanks, you too," Izuku said shyly. Bakugo stopped just short of entering the building to glare at Izuku one last time.

"I told you. You're gonna regret coming to this school, Deku," he growled. "Mark my words."

Izuku felt his stomach drop. Every single time that Bakugo had bullied him in the past, he had been unable to stand up for himself. He had been quirkless, after all. But things were different now.

He wasn't so little and defenseless anymore. People believed in him. His mother, All Might, Melissa, and even Gohan. So many people had helped him get this far. If he shrunk back now, he would be failing them all. That's not going to happen anymore, Izuku thought to himself valiantly, closing his fist. He glared back up at Bakugo.

"I'm not scared of you anymore, Kacchan. Things have changed. Just you watch. I'll show you that I can be a hero, too!"

Bakugo's teeth gritted, shocked that the little worm actually had some guts this time. Without another word, he turned and stomped into the building. The door slammed closed behind him. As soon as the door was closed, Izuku let go of a breath he was holding, feeling exhausted just from standing up to Bakugo.

Videl was staring at him, her pink cape flowing in the wind. She sat on the railing, observing the green-haired boy.

"What was that all about?" She asked as Izuku leaned on the railing next to her. "Don't get me wrong, Bakugo's an asshole, but his anger towards you just feels so… personal."

"We used to be really good friends," Izuku said.
"Ha! Seriously? Then you have terrible taste in friends," Videl snorted.

"He was just so cool when we were kids. He was never afraid of failure, and he always achieved whatever he set out to do. And I wanted to be just like him – until he got that amazing Explosion Quirk of his. Then he made new friends and he started bullying me because I didn't have a Quirk at the time. I don't know, I guess I'm a bit naive, but I was hoping that, now that I have this amazing power, he might've respected me a little more – or at least bullied me a little less."

Videl examined Izuku with her large blue eyes and looked away.

"Don't count on it, Midoriya. That dude's got a ton of issues. If you think you can win him over by becoming stronger, you're dead wrong."

"What do you mean?" Izuku asked, concerned. "What kind of issues does he have?"

"Look, it's kind of hard to explain, but the emotions he sets off when he taunts you are different."

"Different how?"

"It's a mix of anger and sadness – at himself."

Videl paused and allowed herself a sigh.

"My theory?" she said. "That bastard's jealous of you, Izuku. He's jealous of Gohan and Todoroki and everyone else that he thinks could be stronger than him."

"Oh," Izuku looked down at his palms. "So me getting stronger is only making it worse…"

"Yeah," Videl said. She shook her head. "But why do you care so much about him? Let him wallow in his own self pity. Or better yet, now that you know his weakness, you can exploit it."

"No way. I can't do that." Izuku said, shaking his head.

"Why the hell not?" Videl said, her voice rising. "Oh, don't tell me you actually have a little crush on him, do you?"

"What? No, it's not like that at all, I swear. It's just…" Izuku paused, looking for the right words.

"I've known him all of my life. Believe it or not, he actually has a heart. Sometimes, the heroes need some saving, too."

"Aw jeez, you really do have a crush on him, don't you?" Videl grumbled.

"I'm serious," Izuku said. "I'm not trying to bring him down – I'm trying to show him that I still look up to him. And that I can be just as cool as he is."

Videl let out an exasperated breath.

"You do you, then," She said as the start horn went off, indicating that it was time for the Heroes to enter the building. She flipped the helmet in her hands and slid it down over her head, strapping the chinstrap tightly. The blue visor flipped down. "But do it on your own time. For now, we're a team. Let's win this!"

Izuku smiled.

"Right!" he said, tying the mouth guard around his face. The piece gave Izuku a permanent smile.

"What the hell is that, anyway?" Videl asked. "Some kind of rabid dog accessory?"

"Melissa made it for me," Midoriya explained, smiling down at it thoughtfully. His voice became muffled by the mouth piece. "So that no matter what happens, my smile will never disappear."

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN – COMBAT TRIAL I: DEKU VS KACCHAN

The door to the third floor opened and Izuku sneaked in, followed closely by Videl.

"Sense anything yet?" Izuku asked, crawling forward silently.

"Yeah," Videl whispered. "Someone's coming straight for us."
"Iida?"

"I don't think so. It's too slow-"

"WATCH OUT!" Izuku took Videl by the waist and dove away with her just in time, dodging the enormous explosion that landed where they had been standing.

"Holy shit!" Videl gasped. "I didn't even sense him coming."

"I know," Izuku said, gulping for air. "He's a lot faster than he looks."

"Izuku, your mask!" Videl pointed at the flaming green ears.

"It's alright," Izuku said, peeling back the mask. Now the only thing covering his face was the mask with the smile on it. The hood fell backwards, revealing the rest of his face.

"What's the matter, nerd?" Bakugo taunted with a laugh. "I thought you were going to show me how heroic you are. Why are ya running away like a coward?"

"Who's running?" Izuku barked, bringing his fists up. Two percent… I can only use two percent of All for One. But with Full Cowling, that will be more than enough!

"Hell yeah, come on then!" Bakugo roared with a demented smile, bringing his gloved hands up. "Give me everything you've got, Deku! I won't hurt you so bad that they'll have to stop the fight – just close!"

"One for All: Full Cowling!" Izuku shouted. Power began to surge violently around his body, making his skin glow. Bolts of green electricity flowed, activating Midoriya's power from head to toe. Leaping forward, Izuku vanished into thin air as Bakugo's explosion rocked the spot where he had just been standing. Bakugo's eyes widened in confusion.

"What the hell-?"

Izuku was suddenly beside him. Before Bakugo could utter another word, Izuku's left knee shot upward, delivering a mighty blow to the sandy blonde's abdomen that knocked the wind out of Bakugo. Izuku's fists were a blur, shooting forward to connect against Bakugo's jaw in quick succession. One. Two. Three. Four. Uppercut!

"SMAAAAAASH!" Izuku shouted, giving his punch enough juice to send Bakugo flying, but holding back enough so that he didn't get hurt too badly. The final blow sent Bakugo crashing against the wall. The blonde crumbled to the floor, stunned.

"Videl," Izuku called out, taking advantage of the brief break in battle. "Find Iida, get the weapon!"

"What? Don't get greedy, kid. I'm not leaving till I give Bakudork a piece of my mind."

"Just do it," Izuku barked with an uncharacteristic authority. "You said it yourself, between Bakugo and I, it's personal. This is my fight!"

Videl growled but nodded.

"Fine. I'll get you next time, Bakudork," she promised, turning to leave. Izuku watched as Videl disappeared up the stairs.

"Deku…" Bakugo purred, rising to his feet. He held his hands open at this sides, casting off small explosions. He licked the blood flowing down his nose and looked up at him. "You're gonna regret that! I'm going to kick your skinny little ass, do ya hear me?!"

Izuku's teeth gritted and he brought his fists up.
"Come get it, then," he spat out.

Bakugo's hands fired off several explosions and his ragged breaths deepened.

"AHHHHHH!" Bakugo roared, charging at Izuku, his right fist glowing with explosive power. At the last second, he shot his arm forward, only for Izuku disappear once again, appearing beside him to catch the punch. Midoriya used Bakugo's own momentum to swing him around, planting his feet firmly on the ground and used One for All's enhanced strength to swing Bakugo up and over his shoulder, slamming against the cold hard ground.

Bakugo landed with a hard thud. He grunted loudly in pain and shock as his world became a blurred mess. Instinctively, he rolled away from Izuku to get back on his knees.

"You always use a strong right hook to start a fight, don't you, Kacchan?" Izuku said, breathlessly. "I know because I've been watching you fight for years, analyzing every single one of your moves. I wanted to learn everything I could about you – and you wanna know why? Because you're amazing, and I always wanted to be just like you!"

Bakugo was still trying to catch his breath. He slowly stood back up to his feet and turned towards Midoriya. His nose wrinkled with a snarl. "Deku…"

"You can call me a helpless weakling; you can call me Deku all you want," Midoriya shot Bakugo a tearful glare. "But I'm not the same defenseless kid anymore. Things have changed – and maybe I don't look up to you as much anymore. You see, I've met someone amazing, someone who believes in me, someone who taught me that Deku can be the name of a Hero. And I'm not going to let her down, do you hear me!?" His voice had risen into an enraged shriek. "From now on, Deku is the name of a Hero!"

"D-Dekuuuuu!" Bakugo roared, crouching into an offensive posture, ready to pounce, forming small explosions in his hands. "You're nothing but a bug under my boot. You can try to hide it all you want, but your eyes tell the truth. Deep down, you're still shaking in your boots. That's why I hate you! Now come at me, ya damn nerd!"

(…)

Final floor, Videl thought to herself. Of course he placed it in the final floor…

As she sneaked into the room from the stairs, she could feel the vibration from the explosions below. Ohh come on, Bakugo. She silently hoped. Kick his ass already so I can get a piece of you!

As she made it to the room with the weapon, she saw a figure who was covered from head to toe in stark white armor. Iida.

Tenya was walking back and forth, monologuing about being the very incarnation of villainy.

Oh, brother, Videl sighed, rolling her eyes and cringing. I don't have time for this!

She leaped out from around the corner, using her star power to increase her speed. Iida looked up, surprised.

"Aha!" Iida pointed at Videl. "Valiant effort, Hero. But I suspected you would come here alone the minute that Bakugo went off to face Midoriya alone. I have taken careful consideration of your Quirk and have prepared myself mentally and emotionally. You will gain no emotional weapon out of me. You see? You've blundered, hero! MUAHAHAHA-"

Videl never stopped running towards him. With a mighty leap, she jumped straight at Iida, kicking his helmet off of his face in a move that he had not anticipated. Her leg shot out in the opposite direction, sending Iida staggering back. His glasses went flying, rendering him practically blind.

"My eyes! You fiend!" Iida shouted, still in his villainous character. Videl charged again, jumping on the blinded tall student and landing on his shoulders. With a swift motion, she wrapped her legs around the back of his head.

"MMMMPHHHHH!" Iida's arms flailed, clawing at Videl's thighs uselessly as his face was buried in Videl's inner thighs. Iida's engines whined and they shot forward together, running blindly at incredible speed. Just before they ran out through a window, Videl twisted her body, using all of her weight to bring Iida down to the ground with her. Once on the ground, she grabbed Iida's hands and bound them together with the capture tape, effectively eliminating him from the trial.

Iida was still panting as Videl went through his pockets.

"Hey! Hey! You absolutely shameless woman!" Iida yelled. "That was a rotten move and you know it! I'm supposed to be the bad guy here!"

"Yeah, yeah," Videl said dismissively. "My advice? Invest in a good chinstrap, okay? That way you won't lose your helmet as easily. And get yourself some contacts! And no matter what, never let your enemy finish his monologue. Catch that bastard by surprise and maybe you won't get your ass kicked next time."

Iida groaned, laying his head on the floor in defeat.

"Fair enough," he said. "Thank you for the advice."

Videl picked up Iida's glasses and walked over to him, kneeling down to place them on his face.

"No sweat, dude," she said and Iida smiled up at her. "Don't be too ashamed. You're not the biggest person that I've beaten in a fight."

"Well, that's some consolation," Iida rolled his eyes. Videl placed his glasses on his head and got up to leave.

"Thank you," Iida said. "I guess this means the round is yours?"

Before Videl could respond, a huge explosion from beneath them rocked the building.

"Videl…" Midoriya's voice whispered in her ear.

Videl immediately brought up a finger to her earpiece.

"Midoriya?! What the hell is going on down there?"

"I'm sorry," Izuku's voice was weak and pained. "I'm not going to be able to meet up with you. Get to.. the weapon. Quick. Watch out for Bakugo's gauntlets. They pack some serious… power!"
"Where are you?" Videl barked. Another massive explosion rocked the building and the communication feed died, leaving nothing but static.

"Bakugo's getting out of hand," Iida said. He craned his neck to motion at the missile-shaped weapon with his eyes. "Hurry up and get the weapon before he seriously hurts Izuku."

But Videl shook her head.

"No way," she said. "I'm taking Bakugo down myself."

"But the weapon!" Iida shouted, confused. "What about the time limit? You probably only have a few minutes left before time runs out."

"Well, then I better stop wasting it talking here with you!" Videl yelled, taking off for the stairs, leaving Iida tied on the floor.

"Hey!" Iida yelled. "At least untie me so I can use the restroom! I really need to pee!"

(…)

Five Minutes Earlier…

How was Deku this strong? There was just no way…! Bakugo landed against a wall, leaving a crater on it. He looked up in time to see Midoriya coming straight for him with a right hook. He rolled away just in time to avoid his massive punch.

"SMAAAASH!" Midoriya yelled, his attack pulverizing the wall. Red and green electricity coarsed through his body with each blow becoming stronger with each and every attack.

How was he this strong? Bakugo pulled at his hair maniacally. The explosions in his hands were becoming larger and more erratic. Izuku had him against the ropes now, he could see it. Bakugo was getting tired and desperate.

"ARGH! You damn nerd! You've been tricking me all these years by acting weak!" He roared, leaping forward with a powerful explosion that he sent Midoriya's way. Izuku ducked and leaped away. To his surprise, his speed had waned as well. Was he reaching his limit? He had been trying so hard to end the fight quickly without using more than the 2% limit that All Might had set for him. But still, he seemed to have no choice. Bakugo was just too resilient. No matter how many times he took a direct hit from one of Izuku's Smash attacks, he still kept getting back up.

And what was worse, he just seemed to be getting more and more powerful the angrier he got.

Right! Izuku thought, racking his brain for ideas. Page thirty-five, Kacchan's Quirk. He relies on nitroglycerin-like sweat to set off his explosions. That means that the more I push him, the stronger he's going to get. But the opposite is also true – the stronger the explosions, the faster he's going to exhaust his Quirk! That means that if I can push him forward just a little more, I'll have a chance to win!

I've been playing it safe all this time while Kacchan keeps getting stronger. But if I want to have any shot at beating him, I'll just have to suck it up and break my limits. Time to go beyond – Plus Ultra!

"One for All… Full Cowling!" he growled under his breath, careful not to let Bakugo hear him. "Four Percent."

Izuku's body began to glow ominously, once again. Bakugo's eyes widened with rage.

"You damn bastard!" Bakugo cried running at him at full speed. "How are you still getting stronger?!"

He shot another explosion in Izuku's direction, but Izuku once again had that enormous speed he had experienced at the beginning of the match. He ran towards Bakugo and leaped towards him, bringing his arm back.

"Detroit SMAAAASH!" he yelled. This time, his fist connected with Bakugo's torso, sending the blonde crashing into another wall.

At that moment, a terrible pain shot up Izuku's arm. His muscles began to cramp up with involuntary spasms. Izuku screamed in pain, feeling as if the right side of his body, from his waist up to his shoulder were going to burst. He tried to keep going in pursuit of Bakugo, but his toes began to cramp up as well.

Dammit! What's happening to me?! Izuku stared in panic as his arm began to spasm uncontrollably. All Might's voice boomed in his earpiece.

"Young Midoriya, what's happening?!" All Might cried frantically. "Come in!"

Midoriya fell to his knees, wincing with pain as the spasms began to fire off all over his body. Was it this his Quirk giving out? In the past, Izuku had broken his arms and legs whenever he used One for All, but now that he had achieved Full Cowling… was this causing his entire body to get broken now? He warned me! All Might warned me not to go past two percent. But I didn't listen… and now, my body's tearing apart from inside!

Izuku looked up and saw Bakugo standing back up on his feet. A red glow flashed from one of his gauntlets and he let out a demented laugh.

"Now you're in for it, Deku," Bakugo laughed, bringing his grenade-shaped gauntlet to point straight at him. "These gauntlets aren't just for show, you know. They've been storing up some of my sweat for one killer blast! Here it is, nerd! Eat it!"

He pulled back the lever on the tip of the gauntlet, revealing a grenade pin. Izuku tried his best to leap out of the way, but there just wasn't any time. Bakugo fired off an explosion that covered the entire hallway. No matter where he leaped, there was no dodging such a massive blast. He was going to have to block it.

Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap! Izuku panicked as the explosion rushed towards him. What do I do? What do I do? Okay… Notebook five, page eighty-nine. Gohan can block any incoming emitter-type attack by focusing his Quirk into a protective shell over his arms. Izuku closed his eyes and crossed his arms, focusing all of his power to them. The next instant, the explosion hit him, and the sheer power was like hitting a stone wall. Izuku's hearing became a painful ping in his ears but still he resisted the attack.

I can do this! I can do this! Just gotta take another step… beyond!

"Full Cowling: Five percent!" Midoriya screamed. It was either risk it all by tapping into unknown amounts of his Quirk, or let the explosion wreck his body.

In the end, it didn't matter. Izuku's body began to tear almost immediately upon drawing so much power and to Midoriya's horror, his entire body began to break. It wasn't Bakugo's explosion that was breaking every bone in his body, either – it was One for All.

The building shook as the explosion blasted a hole in the wall. Midoriya was flung into the air violently, landing with a dry thud and rolling away, completely immobilized. That was such a stupid move. Izuku's eyes welled up with tears. He just wasn't strong enough to hold so much power yet. All Might had warned him, but he didn't listen. He had been so confident that Full Cowling would be the key to Mastering his Quirk. But now he realized just how in over his head he still was.

His body was broken and there was nothing else he could do. It was up to Videl now.

"Videl…" he said into his communicator weakly.

Videl immediately responded.

"Midoriya?!" she yelped. "What the hell is going on down there?"

"I'm sorry," Izuku gasped. Even talking hurt. His eyes filled with tears. "I'm not going to be able to meet up with you. Get to.. the weapon. Quick. Watch out for Bakugo's gauntlets. They pack some serious… power!"
"Where are you?" Videl barked.

Bakugo was coming now, clearing away the smoke with another explosive blast. The blast knocked Izuku against a wall, destroying his communicator. When he saw Izuku on his back, trying to crawl away, Bakugo's eyes widened with excitement.

"Where do you think you're going, ya damn nerd? The fun's just getting started!" he stalked Izuku, who was desperately trying to crawl away. But his arms were completely broken at this point. He could do nothing but cry out in fear as Bakugo grabbed him by the ankles and pulled him away towards the center of the room.

Bakugo set off another explosion, which propelled him around, swinging Izuku's body through the air and sending him crashing against the wall. Izuku's world was spinning now. Slowly, he slipped away into unconsciousness. The last thing he saw before blacking out was Katsuki's green-gloved fist raining down on him.

Bakugo grabbed Izuku's hair and began to beat him mercilessly.

"Don't tell me that's all you got, Deku?" He laughed cruelly. "Where's that fancy Quirk of yours now?"

Back at the monitor room, Tsu covered her mouth and looked away.

"I can't watch any more," she said, sick to her stomach. "It's too brutal."

Gohan clenched his jaw next to Ochaco, who covered her mouth, too, but her eyes were glued onto the screen.

"Mister All Might, please!" Gohan shouted, unable to bear any more. "I get that this is a test, and that Recovery girl is standing by, but surely this is going too far."

"Yeah, I'm with Muscles," Mina spoke up. "This is incredibly hard to watch."

All Might's teeth gritted and the hand he held the tiny communication microphone shook.

I should stop this fight, All Might thought to himself. But there is more at stake here than just Young Midoriya. Young Videl is in this fight, too. If I stop it now for Midoriya's sake

"He's got him beat!" Kirishima shouted. "Pummeling your opponent when he's down. What kind of man pulls a cheap move like that, Bakugo?!"

In the screen, the class saw as Bakugo laughed. He took three steps back, aiming his left gauntlet at Izuku for a finishing ultimate blast.

"And now for the grand finale!" Bakugo roared.

"Young Bakugo, stop!" All Might shouted into the microphone, making Bakugo pause. "A blast that size at such a close range will kill him!"

"He'll be fine, quit whining!" Bakugo scoffed. "Recovery Girl's standing by anyway, right?"

"I won't say it again. If you use that attack, you will lose the match. Not only will you gravely hurt Young Midoriya, you will probably end up bringing down the very fortress you're meant to defend, resulting in a catastrophic loss of points."

Bakugo screamed with rage, clenching his fists.

"UGHHH! Fine then!" She shouted. "I'll just have to keep kicking his ass until time runs out-"

"EAGLE KICK!"

A shadow shot out towards Bakugo and he jumped away just in time, as Videl's leg kicked out, grazing his lip.

Videl landed in a crouch, leaning on her left knee and supporting herself with one hand on the floor and her right leg outstretched. Her pink cape flowed over the injured Midoriya protectively. She raised her fists, ready for a fight as an orange star appeared at her feet.

Bakugo landed on the debris-strewn ground, sliding to a stop against a wall. He coughed, feeling a fresh warmth run down from his lower lip. He angrily wiped the blood away and looked up to see the charging girl running at full speed towards him, her pink cape flowing in the wind with her speed.

"Come on, Bakudork!" Videl shouted as she rushed towards him. "You better not hold anything back. Come at me with your full power!"

"I ain't holding anything back, you uncute pigtailed loser!" Bakugo yelled back, sending three quick explosions towards Videl. "I'm coming at you with my full power."

Videl athletically leaped around the hall, dodging each of the blasts.

"That's what I just said, you dumbass!"

Videl shot forward, covering the final distance between them with a powerful swing of her leg. Bakugo leaped away again, but Videl was ready this time. As soon as her failed kick missed, she twisted her body and brought her other leg around. Bakugo had misjudged the move and was coming in for a swipe. The boot connected against his side, sending him sliding back.

Videl pressed on relentlessly, jumping at him with the same move she had used on Iida, aiming for Bakugo's shoulders. But as soon as she closed her legs around his head, Bakugo jumped forward and slammed her back against the floor, hard. Videl didn't let go, so Bakugo repeated the move again and again.

"AGGGHHH!" Videl struggled to breath as her back was slammed again and again on the hard floor. Finally, Bakugo leaped up into the air, using his explosions to propel him forward for a harder impact. This time, the floor cracked under Videl's back and she could no longer hold onto Bakugo, who slipped away, aiming another explosion at Videl.

The explosion was massive and it sent Videl rolling away. It took her several seconds to get back up on her feet. Videl glared up at him, her face dirty and caked with blood. She forced herself to get back up on her feet.

"Come on, Videl," Kirishima was saying under his breath as he watched the monitor. "Don't give up now. You've got what it takes to beat Bakugo!"

Videl groaned, picking herself up on all fours. Bakugo continued his advance like a hungry predator.

"Hey! Stop screwing around and get serious!" Bakugo shouted. "You're supposed to be tough, but you fight like a freakin' girl!"

"Funny, I was about to say the same thing about you," Videl barked. She wiped the blood streaming down her nose with her thumb and got back up for another round.

The two ran up to each other like forces of nature clashing for supremacy in the middle of the room. Videl was tired and beaten, and even though she had the will to keep going, her body just wasn't able to keep up with the ferocious and ever increasing power of Bakugo.

Okay, she thought. If I can't beat him conventionally… I'll just have to do what Dad does best – improvise!

The rumble on the ground from the clash woke Midoriya up. He felt like his entire body was on fire. Slowly he looked up to see Videl and Bakugo fighting toe to toe with their Quirks.

Get up! Midoriya thought, gritting his teeth. I need to help her, dammit! Get up, useless body!

That's when he noticed it. His skin was enveloped in a blanket of pink light. Slowly, his body was being repaired, his broken bones mended, his open wounds sown shut, his torn skin refreshed. He glanced up and finally understood. While Videl was keeping Bakugo distracted, she was using her Quirk to heal him.

Videl was starting to get pushed back again, feeling the wear of using two Star Points at once, while keeping up with Bakugo at the same time. Slowly, Bakugo's fists started to leak through, striking her in the face, chest and arms. Slowly, she began to be driven back.

From the corner of her eye, she could see Midoriya get to his knees. Good, at least he recovered consciousness. Come on, hurry up and beat this guy!

Bakugo's foot shot out and kicked her squarely in the stomach, knocking the wind out of her. He spun around furiously to deliver a two-handed uppercut that caught Videl's chin. Her teeth sank into her tongue and her mouth exploded with an iron taste. Dazed, she stumbled backward and Bakugo unleashed a two-handed explosion that tore Videl's cape and sent her rolling to the ground.

Videl lifted a hand up to try to defend herself, but Bakugo mercilessly unleashed a barrage of explosions that pummeled her to the ground.

"Bakugo, stop!" Videl cried. But Bakugo only attacked her with more brutality, sending her flying again. She landed with a thud and she cried out, holding her side.

"Bakugo, please!" she sobbed. "Enough! Ugh! I think you broke my ribs!"

"Oh no, you damned pigtailed loser. You wanted this! Didn't you say you wanted me to come at you with full power? I'm gonna hurt you so bad you'll be in the nurses office for weeks!"

"No!" Videl cried, tucking her knees into a fetal position, burying her face in her hands.

"Stop it already, Bakugo!" she sobbed, her shoulders shaking. "I get it. You win, alright? Just stop!"

Bakugo brought his hands together over the beaten girl, standing over her victoriously, waiting to deliver the final blow.

"I was right about you. You're nothing but another helpless weakling!" He purred. "You got that? Huh?! Don't you ever forget your place!"

"VIDEL!" Kirishima cried from the monitor room.

"Tch!" Bakugo's explosions dissipated in his hands and he stepped back. The time would be running out any second now. It was over. Deku and Videl were finished. He had won."We're done here."

Videl's shoulders continued shaking, catching Bakugo's attention.

"Huh?" he tilted his head, confused. Videl's sobs were getting louder and louder, until her hands fell from her face. She wasn't crying at all. She was laughing.

"Oh Bakudork, you're too easy," she said. With that, her fist shot up at the teen standing over her, her knuckles crashing hard against Bakugo's testicles.

"AHHH!" Bakugo shrieked, falling to the ground. As he fell, Videl spun around on the ground, sweeping Bakugo's legs with her boot, sending Bakugo flying. She immediately rose to her feet and shot her hands forward.

"Eagle's Nest!" She shouted. An orange bubble formed around Bakugo's body, trapping him in a protective gelatinous force field. "Do it now, Midoriya!" she shouted.

"Right!" Midoriya yelled, running full speed towards the trapped Bakugo. "DETROIIIIIIIIIT."

"Midoriya?! What the hell?!" Bakugo looked up to see the green haired teen running towards him, fully healed.

"I'll let you in on a little secret, Bakugo," Videl said, holding him still with her Quirk. "Red and I are dating now. And he actually really likes me. Do you know what I can do with the power of passion? I can heal people, Bakugo."

"No!" Bakugo's eyes widened. "No, let me go! I had you two beat! This can't be happening!"

"Save your tears, you little freak," Videl spat at him with a venomous smile. "Like hell I'm letting you go now. Take this L and shove it!"

"DAMMIT!" Bakugo cried, setting off explosions inside the protective bubble, but it was useless.

"SMASSSSSH!" Midoriya cried. This time, he didn't use Full Cowling. The sheer power of the blow destroyed his arm and sent Bakugo flying, crashing through several walls and out of the building. He landed outside in the street, the protective bubble keeping him from any actual harm. But the motion of impact still knocked him unconscious.

There was a brief silence as everybody seemed to hold their breath in awe of the spectacle that had just witnessed. Finally, All Might broke the silence.

"With ten seconds to spare…" he said. "The hero team… WINS!"

Midoriya struggled to catch his breath, staring at the hole he had created with wide eyes. His arm had just been healed and it was already shattered again.

"Ow," he grunted, falling to his feet. Videl went after Bakugo and after a few minutes, she returned, dragging Bakugo's body, which was now hogtied with the capture tape to add to his humiliation. She dumped him on the floor and sat down next to Midoriya.

"Kacchan!" Midoriya cried, worried. "Is he-?"

"He's fine, relax," Videl said, annoyed. "Look, I used up all of my Passion Star Points to heal you the first time and I don't have enough to heal you again. Let's get you to Recovery Girl, quickly."

As if on cue, four robots wheeled in with stretchers to take Midoriya and Bakugo to the Nurse's office. As they loaded Bakugo into the stretcher, Midoriya sadly realized something.

This was the first time that Bakugo lost a fight.

(…)

"Excellent job on defeating the villains, Young Sata-"

"Videl," Videl corrected All Might quickly. "Just Videl, please. I'm not trying to live in my old man's shadow. I want to make my own name."

"Uh," All Might grunted. "Very well. I admire and respect your wishes, Young Videl. As I was saying, you did a great job in completing your mission, though you could have ended the match simply by touching the weapon. Why didn't you?"

Videl crossed her arms and sighed.

"I wasn't trying to win," she said. "I was trying to take down the villains and save my partner. If this were real life, Midoriya would've been murdered if I hadn't returned to him. I don't ever intend on letting anyone die on my watch."

"Wise words, Young Videl," All Might said, approvingly. "Take her words to heart, kids. The quick and easy way is not always the best solution. Well done, hero team. And well done, Young Iida, for doing your best to embody villainy."

"Your praise honors me and all, sir," Iida said. "But can someone please come and untie me now! I really have to use the bathroom!"

"Whoops! I forgot you were still up there," All Might cried, slapping his forehead. "Fear not, Young Iida. I am here to liberate you! Class, take a twenty minute break and then report back here for the next battle."

"Well, at least Iida's taking the loss in good spirits, huh?" Gohan whispered to Ochaco, who nodded. She turned to him with her eyes furrowed.

"Gohan, I want to see Midoriya before the next match starts. I want to make sure he's okay."

Gohan nodded.

"Yeah, me too," glancing up at the clock. Twenty minutes was plenty of time. "Okay, Ochaco. Let's go."

"Kay."

"I'm going, too," Tsu said.

"Melissa, are you coming? Melissa…?"

Gohan, Tsu and Ochaco froze as they saw Melissa scribbling furiously in one of her composition books.

"…his body suffers catastrophic rupture upon activating his Quirk, particularly at the point of contact." she was mumbling to herself, deep in thought. "Suggested accessory – some sort of full length, durable yet elastic gauntlet to dampen the blow while increasing output of kinetic energy for his toes, knees and especially his arms. Estimated increase in efficiency? Ummm…" she calculated something with her fingers, looking at something invisible. "Up to 30%. Perhaps more-"

"Melissa?" Gohan repeated, catching her attention.

"Ah!" She gasped. "Sorry! Got lost in thought."
"Thinking about Izuku Midoriya?" Gohan teased. "Aww, how sweet."

Melissa's cheeks burned red.

"Well, someone's gotta be in charge of making costume upgrades, right?"
"I'm just messing with you," Gohan laughed. "Anyway, we're going to go see Izuku. Want to come?"

"Yeah," she nodded, closing her notes.

As the students left to go check up on their friend, Kirishima swung an arm around Videl's neck.

"That's my girl!" he said, proudly. "You kicked some serious ass back there, Videl!"

"Yeah," Videl's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Did you see me, Red? I made Bakugo my bitch!"

"Hopefully he learns to be more humble from now on instead of assuming he's the strongest all the time."

"Yeah, I don't think so," Jiro said, hugging her elbows and shivering. "Tell me you can feel that, V. I think he's awake now. I can hear him all the way over here with my Quirk."

Videl looked over to the direction of the nurse's office and nodded.

"Yeah, he's not taking the loss very well."

Jiro shivered again.

"Yeah, that's the understatement of the year. Seriously, if only you could hear what he's saying. Videl, I think you gave him a new scar that he's never going to forget. I feel so bad for the next girl that has to fight him. Because he is going to absolutely destroy her."

(…)

Ten Minutes Later…

Bakugo sat in one of the bed's in the nurse's office, covered by the curtains for privacy.

His fists were clenched around the capture tape and shaking on his lap, his shoulders quivering with rage. Tears streamed down his face.

"Dammit. That conniving bitch!" he growled to himself, hyperventilating. "I had it. I had the win! It was mine and I lost it. It's all my fault! I fell for her fake tears. I showed mercy because she was a damned girl. And it cost me the win again. And what's worse, I lost to Deku, of all people! I swear, that will never ever happen again," he promised to himself, drying his eyes with his bandaged arm. "Dammit! Dammit! Dammiiiiiiit!"

Gohan had stopped by his room to try and give him some encouraging words, but once he heard how furious he was, he decided it was best to let him blow off steam first. He would definitely try talking to his classmate again at a better time. He sighed, shaking his head and left.

(…)

It took a few minutes for Izuku to wake up again. Thankfully, he had been asleep through the entire process, so he didn't hear Recovery Girl berating him. He looked around the familiar room, taking in his surroundings. That's when he saw his friends entering the room.

"There's the champ," Gohan said, pointing at Izuku with a wide smile, reaching Izuku's bedside. "Great job out there, buddy."

"Yeah, that punch was amazing!" Ochaco said, excitedly. "It looks like you're really improving on your Quirk."

"That Bakugo was fast, but in some instances, you looked like a real pro out there, Midoriya!" Tsu said, reaching the bedside.

"You guys… came to see me?" Izuku asked, feeling his emotions swelling up into tears. "Seriously, thank you!"

"Of course we had to come see you," Gohan said. "You did it, man. You went toe to toe with Bakugo and won!"

"Well," Midoriya chuckled, wiping his eyes. "That's not exactly how it went down. Most of the credit should go to Videl, honestly. If she hadn't healed me, I don't know if we could've beaten Bakugo. He's such a great fighter!"

"Well, I thought you were pretty cool back there," Melissa confessed, holding her hands together.

"Yeah?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah… you kind of reminded me of Uncle Might."

"Really? How so?"

"You never gave up, even when you got hurt. Uncle Might always says that a true hero will always find a way for justice to be served. You proved that today. So chin up, okay? Maybe you hurt yourself today, but we can learn a lot more from failure than from success."

"You think so, Melissa?"

"Absolutely," she smiled at him. "Take it from the great mind of an American inventor – Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently."

She opened her notebook and showed Midoriya the notes she had been taking during his fight.

"Whoa," Midoriya said, his eyes shining like a child. "Is this for me?"

"Yep," Melissa said. "I think it's exactly the kind of support item you need right now to reach your full potential. I'll get to work on making a prototype just as soon as-"

A bell rang and All Might's voice boomed through the speaker.

"Students," he said. "It's almost time to begin the second match. Melissa, Momo, Shoto and Shoji, please report to Building B for your Combat Trial. The rest of you, please report back to the monitor room, pronto!"

"Well, gang, looks like time's up." he turned back to Midoriya. "Hey, get better soon, man. After the trials are over, I'll take all out to eat. My treat!"

"Yes!" Midoriya said, raising his fist. "Ow!" he groaned, feeling a shock of pain run down his side.

They all shared a laugh together.

Afterwards they left. Gohan couldn't help but smile, feeling proud that, even if Izuku had broken his body again, he had taken a huge step forward in mastering his Quirk.

"What are you smiling so much about?" Ochaco asked him as they walked down the hall.

"Remember this guy, Ochaco," he said proudly. "He's gonna be the Number One Hero someday."

"What about you?" Ochaco asked. "Isn't that something you'd like to be someday."

"Yeah, maybe," Gohan said, slipping his hands into his pockets. "We'll see. But I want to focus on helping my community, first. The Hero Billboard Chart can wait. Besides, I could always settle for Number Two."

"Well, for what it's worth," Ochaco said. "You'll always be number one to me."

Gohan smiled and looked away.

"Thanks, Ochaco. You're the best."

"Good, I better be!" she teased him. "Listen, I have to go to the bathroom real quick. Meet you back at the monitor room?"

"Okay, sounds good," Gohan said. The two parted ways and Ochaco went to use the restroom. While she was still there, she bumped into Mina and Hagakure, who were gossiping while washing their hands.

Ochaco waited until the other girl in the bathroom, Class 1B's Itsuka Kendo left. As soon as Mina and Toru walked past her to leave, Ochaco grabbed them both and activated her Quirk, making them float and quickly forced them into a utility closet with her.

"Hey! What the heck, Ochaco?" Mina cried in surprise.

"Yeah, you're not trying to shake us down for cash, are you?" Toru asked, dramatically.

Ochaco held her hands, pacing back and forth, thinking of the right words to say to them.

Mina cocked her head, confused.

"Ochaco? What's wrong?"

Ochaco finally stopped and took a deep breath.

"Okay, you guys," she said, out of breath, holding her hands out. "So maybe I do like him. Just a little."

Mina and Toru gasped together.

"Ahhh! That's so wonderful, Ochaco!" Toru bounced excitedly.

"What about him?"

"I…" Ochaco paused. Taking this step and confessing it out loud felt like taking a dive off the side of a cliff. It was terrifying, it was exciting, it was thrilling, and it was nauseating. But she had already taken a step forward. There was no turning back now.

"I have it on good authority that… likes me, too."

"Good authority, huh?" Mina asked. "That sounds juicy!"

"Well… he kind of introduced me to his family over the weekend."

"That settles it!" Toru said, throwing her arms over Ochaco's neck. "You two are in love!"

Hearing that made Ochaco feel a pit in her stomach. Am I? Could two friends just fall in love like that?

It was scary to feel these crazy new emotions, but at the same time, she couldn't deny the fact that she really liked him, anymore.

She had known him for three months now, four months next week, in fact. And in that period of time, he had made such a huge impact in her life, and according to Grand Elder Moori, she had made a huge impact in his.

I will defend his smile. That was the promise I made to Grand Elder Moori, and I want to keep that promise. I want to give him reasons to keep smiling every day. No matter what. Because a good guy like Gohan deserves to feel loved, too.

Ochaco sighed deeply.

"So what happens now?" she asked. "What do I do next?"

"Oh, leave that to us. We'll take care of everything," Mina said, mischievously. "I think it's time to take it one step further, Hagakure – Plus Ultra style."

"I couldn't agree more," Toru said.

(…)

Melissa waited for everyone to leave the room before turning back to Izuku.

"Melissa? What's up?" Izuku asked.

Melissa beamed a happy smile at him.

"I'm so glad that the mask held up."

"Hm? Oh you mean the mouth guard?" Izuku asked. "Yeah, it's the only accessory that I didn't break. It actually kept my teeth from getting kicked in."

Izuku's eyes closed happily and he gave her a wide, childlike smile.

"See? I can still smile!" he laughed.

"I'm glad," Melissa said. "You should do it more. It's super… cute."

Izuku froze, feeling the blood in his face freeze and boil at the same time. The only female in his life that had ever called him cute was his mother. Does… does she mean that?

Melissa giggled at his reaction.

"Well, I gotta go. Recover soon so we can hang out after class, okay Deku?"

"Uh…" Midoriya gulped. "Mhm."

Melissa giggled again, turning back around and walking out of the nurse's office.

(…)

Melissa jogged down to the entrance of Building B, where she caught sight of Shoto and Shoji, who were waiting patiently as the Hero team while she and Momo went in to set up. She opened the door to the building, stopped, and turned to the two boys.

"Gentlemen," she said with a quick bow. "Good luck to you both."

Shoji returned the bow, but Shoto sighed.

"Miss Shield," he said, his voice a polite whisper. "May I ask you a favor?"

"Hmm? Sure thing. What is it?" Melissa asked.

"Please, tell Momo that I apologize," he said, his eyes falling to the ground.

"Apologize for what?"

Shoto paused for a long time, searching for the right words to say.

"For everything that happened," he said. He looked up and his expression hardened. "And for everything that I'm about to do."

Ending Song:

"1,000,000 Times" By My First Story

A/N: Hey! I hope you liked the first round of the Combat Trials. Videl finally got revenge on Bakugo for being such a huge tool towards her. But will Bakugo learn his lesson? Or will he just double down on his idea that showing mercy is for the weak? Man, I sure feel bad for the next girl that gets to fight him. Yikes!

Anyway, thank you all for the love and support! Looking forward to another long weekend! Please be safe and enjoy this precious time with friends and family!

Much love, guys!

Xeno Gohan chapter 16 . Dec 22

woah woah

liked Gohan and Ochaco moment here

also darn, I really want Chichi to meet Gohan again(really need that mother and son reunion ngl) also Melissa knows Gohan is the dragon of namek?! That's some next level of cliffhanger right there

looking forward for the next chapter

Thanks bro! Sorry, it's the last time (probably) that I will tease them like that hehe sometimes in life, you will get those moments of, what if I had done just one thing differently? Then everything would be so different. So close and yet so far.

I'm glad you're liking their moments. The flower of their relationship is starting to bloom, but I will confess, they still have a loooong way to go before they become an official couple. But things are being set in motion as we speak hehe Thanks for your support always, Xeno! I appreciate it!

JediGamerX chapter 16 . Dec 22

Great chapter resolving the visit to the Dragon Clan! I do wonder what kind of boost Moori gave Uraraka. At first, I was thinking of the "Inner Potential" Grand Elder Guru gave to Gohan and Krillin during DBZ's Frieza arc though I'm interested to see.

As far as Chi-Chi and Gohan being in the same place without knowing it, it was good to see it once again. It just gets me more excited for their undoubtedly emotional reunion. I also found it rather funny that it was Krillin of all people to report Goten getting in trouble. I wonder if he works closely with Detective Tsukauchi.

Finally, for the instant costume switcher, I was wondering if it was a reference to The Flash's ring that instantly puts his costume over him. Though I could be narrowing it down too far as these kinds of devices for superheroes are very common.

So glad that you went back to re-read my fic, as short as it is lol! I'm very happy to know you like my handling of Vegeta. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi X! Thank you so much for the review! The entire class will revisit the Dragon Clan in five months or so for the hatchling ceremony, so you can bet there will be more adventures regarding the Dragon Clan in the near future. As for the gift that GE Moori gave to Ochaco, yep it's the same one that Guru gave to Gohan and Krillin in the Namek saga. There was one main difference though, and that's that Ochaco didn't get a power boost, necessarily, it just meant that she can reach even higher potentials. We'll explore this notion in her chapter of the Combat Trials.

As far as Chichi and Gohan, I have most of the scene written out already and it's a very, very emotional one. As a personal note, my little brother ran away from home when he was 16 and I didn't see him again until he was 24, married with kids. Seeing him again brought on so many emotions and I projected those same emotions onto their reunion. I can't wait for it to happen next season.

And finally, for the costume switcher, I based it off the one that Bulma made for the Great Saiyaman, with the only difference being that you can save multiple outfits on it to switch back and forth. The Flash's ring is nice! Much better than my boy Clark Kent's telephone booth, that's for sure LOL!

Thanks again for the love and support man! I can't stress enough how much I really appreciate it!

X3runner chapter 16 . Dec 22

I dig the fact that Melissa and gohan have a full goku and bulma type relationship like it would be dope if some clasic goku bulma moments were mirrored by them . The level of sweetness between gohan and ochako are so high that I might have to start taking insulin , now that does beg the question since toga falls for izuku/ochako in large part due to the affection they share for eachother what would happen here would it still be izuku and I ochako , izuku and melisa, or ochako and gohan. If what I think is happening with chichi is happening here her name is mud, where as I could see inko just adopting gohan regardless if he wanted it to happen or not she just seems that sweet and adorable by contrast. I'm loving how quickly gohan and izuku Joey and chandler (friends) but just shy of JD and Turk (scrubs) in there levels of broness. I do wonder if izuku or melisa are going to help design gohans official hero costume since they have integrated so much in each other's lives. Loved the chapter I hope you maintain the sane ennergy

X3! As usual, you are sooooo close to guessing exactly where this fic is going! Especially in Chi-Chi's side of the story… well, I won't spoil it, but you're super super close. As for Melissa and Gohan, yeah! I definitely want Melissa to be the Bulma character of the team. Only difference is that she won't try to show Gohan her underwear in exchange for mystical objects! Haha

OOOh, I really like your Question about Toga, because I just found out

that she's in love with Ochaco, too. I'll have to really think about her to do her character justice. So I'll have to get back to you on that one.

As for Mama Midoriya, oh yeah, she's going to be like the go to mom for all of Izuku's friends… especially one in particular, who has mom (or lack thereof) issues. Oh wait, that's all of them except for Ochaco hahaha

Thanks again for your review X3! I always look forward to seeing how our minds think alike!

Elchico 64 chapter 16 . Dec 22

Hey, man, it's me again. Wow, you really surprise me (again), I knew Melissa was smart, but to the point to discover his identity as the Dragon, didn't expect that. Although, makes sense if we add the fact that she pas a weekend with the Dragon Clan, she could put together some strings.

As for the chapter, really smoothy... I-It's that a compliment right? Because as long I'm concerned it is so... Ugh, whatever, what I meant to say is... this was a relaxing chapter, but at the same time it has this anxiety when Chi-Chi appears and she's a few steps from his son whithout notice and vice versa. But the time will come eventually.

As for the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, we all know that both universe use Sci-Fi and Fantasy to illustrate and explain those anomalies and context with sort unreal objects. But at the same time it would be very interesting to put in theory how it really works, its not impossible but it is a challenge because it still is a rare and magical room.

Anyways, this was a good chapter, with some emotions and feelings exposed, revelations. It really suits you writing this and, if I am allowed to say, I think this make you good in your own way.

Merry Christmast (I-I wrote right? I am not very good writing in english, it sound better in my head) and Happy New Year!

Chico! Hey, so good to hear from you again mi hermano! Thanks for the review! I want to make Melissa like genius level, like her father. Of course, on the engineering side but also in terms of general intelligence. I want her to be a true indigo child. So in a sense, she is a lot like Midoriya, where even if she doesn't have super powers, she has great brain power and that makes up for her lack of powers, a bit.

Thanks for the compliment! Hehe I enjoyed it. And of course, my brother, I totally understand. Sometimes, it's hard to get the english, even for me ( I got four languages in my head: Spanish, English, Tagalog and Italian. Yeah, my family comes from all over the world lol) but if you ever want to leave a comment in Spanish, English or even SPANGLISH, con mucho gusto se lo acepto jeje. Aveces las palabras en espanol no existen en ingles, y eso lo hace un poquito mas dificil verdad? A mi me sucede a cada rato, especialment al hablar con mis padres en Mexico. Jeje

Thank you so much for always showing this fic some love and support,Chico! I look forward to an update from yours too! And thank you so much for the well wishes! Have a good time and be safe, mi hermano!

Xeno Gohan chapter 17 . 23h ago

ooh another chapter, Gohan's hormones acting up lol

I'm looking forward for the fight!

also, a prequel about Goku would make his death even more tragic tbh so I'm a bit looking forward for that one and I'm especially excited about the Bardock one and the Pan and Mizuko one

looking forward for the next chapter

Xeno! Yeah, it's funny. Gohan paid no attention to any of the girls until he saw Ochaco. Then he got flustered. I guess he's really starting to accept his feelings towards her, but there's still quite a ways for them to go. Some major roadblocks in their relationship will soon show up.

I hope you liked the first round of the Combat trials. It's super different, but still gave Izuku a chance to try out his new powers and learn a valuable lesson in patience and not rushing to take the easiest way out.

Yeah, just thinking about what's coming puts a real bummer on prequels, right? But I hope that the time we do get to spend with our heroes will help us see and appreciate their stories and journeys and will ultimately give their life and sacrifice more meaning.

I can't wait for you all to meet little Mizuko. If pan is the replica of Gohan, Mizuko is going to be, for all intents and purposes, baby Saiyan Ochaco. As I began to create her profile, she stole my heart. So I'm really excited for you all to meet her. And Pan, too. She's actually my second favorite DB character, believe it or not. Growing up with GT, Pan was one of my heroes, even if she did get annoying at times… hehe

Thanks so much for your review, Xeno!

JediGamerXchapter 17 . 21h ago

Great to see that the Combat Trials are finally here! It's not too much of a surprise that Gohan would be using his Great Saiyaman costume though I wonder if he'll make any changes to it throughout the story.

I found it neat that Ojiro's a part of Tien's old school, though I wonder if he's leading it in this fic. Maybe Yurin from DB Super will be there too?

Finally, I like the idea for all the spinoff/sequel/prequel stories! I'm particularly excited for Bardock's story though I'm very interested in "Children of the Dragon", I wonder if the new DB Super Hero movie will play as an influence?

Yes! In a similar way how Izuku's costume started out as this weird rabbit/donkey/frog looking thing and turned out to be badass later on, Gohan's costume will receive upgrades as time passes, and he begins to get closer to his Saiyan heritage. We'll begin to see changes. So stay tuned!

You know what gave me the idea of putting Ojiro in the Crane School is Tien's Four Witches move where he grows two extra limbs, and the fact that he has three eyes. So I figured it's a karate school for freaks, and Ojiro would definitely fit in well. Hehe no offense to my vanilla boy.

As for other members of the Crane School, without spoiling too much… you're going to see a familiar face that is affiliated to the Crane school in the USJ Incident. I'll just leave it at that hehe

12450ogmdm chapter 17 . 10h ago

wait wait, kirishima and videl are dating? I thought it would be Bakugou X videl! What did I miss? XD

Or maybe it's a bad Google translation?

Hey OG! Thanks for your review my friend. Yeah, it's a little vague, but they started dating way back in Chapter 14. It's the first "after credits" scene at the very bottom of the chapter. We'll explore their relationship in depth during Kirishima's chapter of the Combat Trials.

Sorry for any confusion! Also, just curious, what is your original language? Maybe in the future I could see about finding a way to translate this fic into that language. Thanks again for your review!

JustinCase chapter 17 . 4h ago

My favorite part is when Gohan got jealous because Ochaco isn't worshipping him for once! lol I hope Melissa has more than Power Pole this time, like some other kinds of weapons or something. I thought she was going to be the like the Iron Man of the team.

I'm looking forward to the spinoffs, especially the Bardock one. Hopefully it will give us the backstory of the saiyans and i wonder why it says that his world was destroyed. I'll be looking forward to that, man! For now, I'm so glad it's time for them to finally fight! Lookin forward to Gohan vs Ojiro. Interesting change.

Hiya Justin! HAHAHA I loved how you assessed Gohan's jealousy. I think you're right. He's so used to being followed around by Urarachan that he might have felt a little bit of jealousy now that someone else had her attention, even if it was in truly innocent Ochaco fashion.

As for Melissa, yes, she will use a different type of weapon other than just Power Pole, though that is her main weapon, just like it was Goku's in Dragon Ball.

And you are 100% correct on the spinoffs. They will absolutely give more insight into the Saiyans and add to the lore of this universe. I'm excited to get to work on it!

Gohan vs Ojiro is going to be the finale that culminates this arc. I hope you will like it!

Thank you all so much for your feedback and showing some love. Until next time, stay safe and enjoy this time with family and friends. Love you guys!
