What a week for DB Fans! The new movie just dropped and I gotta say – loved it! Especially our little Pan! Now I am convinced she is Uraraka and Gohan's secret love child or something. It definitely reignited my fire for this fic, especially seeing Gohan go PLUS ULTRA!
Anyway, here is the next update. I apologize profusely for the lack of interaction with you guys! I'm making sure to include the Review Responses in this chapter for sure! Without further ado, let's get going.
Opening Song:
"Mukoku" by My First Story
There was an uncomfortably long moment of eerie silence between Gohan and the pony-tailed reporter. His eyes darted from her chestnut brown eyes down to the remote sitting at the edge of his bed.
"Who are you?" Gohan barked, but his voice broke. He cleared his throat and tried again. "What do you want with me?"
"Oh, right. I'm Kuri Shimamura – investigative reporter for NHA News Agency. I have some questions to ask you about what happened today at the market and also about your – erm, extracurricular activities," Kuri said, sliding over to the black chair next to Gohan's hospital bed.
"I'm sorry," Gohan apologized, reaching for the nurse call button. "But you can't be in here right now. It's against the rules to have reporters badgering us in here while we're recovering, you know?"
"Eh, rules schmules," Kuri waved her hand dismissively and sat down. "Then again, you aren't really known for playing by the rules, are you, Dragon of Namek?"
Gohan froze and swallowed. A bead of cold sweat began to form on his brow.
"How did you…"
"Oh yeah, I know all about you, Squirt! We've been chasing you down all over Namek since last December. You might not remember this, but you actually saved my life once before, back when you went toe to toe with Endeavor in West City."
Gohan's eyes widened and his clenched palms began to sweat. It was her, he suddenly realized! During his brief fight with the Number Two Hero, Endeavor's recklessness had caused a news chopper that was reporting on the fight to be hit with a blast and it spiraled down to earth. Just before it crashed, Gohan rescued its occupants, a reporter and her cameramen, and brought them down safely.
Kuri saw his reaction and smiled victoriously.
"You do remember me now," she said.
Gohan swallowed against his dry throat. Like a deer caught in headlights, he was unable to tear his gaze away, even to shake his head. Kuri noticed his reaction and raised a reassuring hand at him.
"Hey, relax kid, I'm not trying to blow your secret identity or whatever," she said with a slight shrug, leaning back on the chair. "I actually admire what you're doing. Namek deserves a Hero like you – someone who cares enough to do something about the crime without asking for anything in return. When I was a junior reporter, about ten or fifteen years ago, there was someone just like you in West City. He would appear in an instant to stop crime, or to protect a city from a natural disaster, and then he would just vanish, leaving nothing but a streak of red light. That's how I discovered him. I called him the Scarlet Blur."
Kuri picked up a pen from the bedside table and rolled it in between her fingers, her voice becoming distant for a brief moment. She smiled.
"He was a good man. He saved my life so many times over the years and I never even learned his name before he died. All of these years, I've been working hard to piece the puzzle together. The world deserves to know his story. Who is the Blur? And then out of the blue, a nameless Hero from Namek starts saving people, saving the city and disappearing without taking any credit for their actions… I think that you're that Hero, Gohan. You're the Dragon of Namek. And I think you're the son of the Scarlet Blur."
Gohan shook his head and looked away. His breathing became heavy and audible.
"One interview – that's all I'm asking for," Kuri insisted, interlacing her hands together on her lap.
"I'm sorry," Gohan said. "You've got the wrong guy."
Kuri sighed and shrugged.
"Look, kid. My Quirk is called Reporter's Intuition. It's really simple. It leads me to the truth through breadcrumbs, but the moment I publish my work without resolving the current clue, the remaining breadcrumbs disappear forever. Right now, you are that breadcrumb. In other words, it's in your best interest and mine to keep your secret identity under wraps… but with that being said, I can't force you into an interview, so I might just consider this story over and publish what I've found as is. Think about how your Principle Nezu or your teachers or that cute little girlfriend of yours will feel if they found out that you've been lying to them this entire time, living a double life as a vigilante."
Gohan gritted his teeth and shot her a fiery glare. This reporter was right.
Either way, he had no choice.
"Listen," Kuri added. "I have something you want, and you have something that I want."
"Oh, is that so?" Gohan asked angrily. "And what's that?"
"You give me the story of the century, and I give you the answers to your biggest questions. Sound like a deal?"
"Hardly. More like blackmail." Gohan sighed and pressed the red call button in his hand. "I'm sorry. I guess I'm just gonna have to trust you to do the right thing."
"Come on kid, throw me a bone here!" Kuri shouted. "At least a 'thank you' would be nice. That loan wasn't cheap, you know!"
Gohan looked up at her.
"What loan?"
"The loan! That astronomically high interest loan your mother took out from Advance Finance. The stranger that paid it off in full – that was me!"
Gohan stared back at Kuri. For an instant, he was transported back in time several months ago when his mother hugged him excitedly in their kitchen, telling him the good news; that they were finally debt free…
Gohan's features softened and he smiled.
"Well, you could have started with that, you know," he mumbled, turning back to Kuri and extending his hand out. "Hi. I'm Son Gohan. It's really nice to meet you."
"You there! What do you think you're doing?" A nurse wearing white hospital scrubs thundered from the entrance of the room. "No reporters allowed in this unit!"
Kuri's shoulders and her facial expression drooped.
"Ah well, I guess our time's up," she said. She reached for her shirt pocket and produced a dark-blue contact card with gold lettering and flicked it over to Gohan with the tips of her fingers.
"Here's my number," she said. "Call me when you want to chat. And Gohan? Keep up the good work. You're going to see a lot of crazy stuff as a Hero. Some of it will make you question humanity. Sometimes, you'll even question your own. But when that happens, just remember this – Why do Heroes fall? So they can rise again."
Gohan looked up from the contact card. In that moment, he connected the dots. That had been the same message written on the 'Get Well Soon' card that someone had left on his bedside at the hospital the day he discovered his powers over a year ago now. The one who had left the card and the photograph of his father and All Might with the address that would lead him to Piccolo's place where his journey towards heroism had begun… that had been Kuri Shimamura all along!
"Security," the nurse called into her radio.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm going," Kuri said. She turned one last time towards Gohan and smiled warmly, bringing her index and middle fingers to her forehead and flicking them away in a departing gesture.
"Get well soon, kiddo."
With that, Kuri turned and walked out of the room, leaving Gohan alone with his thoughts.
(…)
Gohan was still lost in his thoughts when a nurse came to the room with a wheel chair to take him to the doctor's office, where his condition would be discussed.
The room was sterile and stark white, yet an effort had been made to make it seem more inviting. The window curtains had been pulled back to let some sun in, which radiated over a couple of desk plants and flowers. A framed picture of the doctor and a small child sat on the corner of her wooden desk, propping up a picture that had been drawn and colored with crayolas.
Doctor Erica Kliesen was a tall woman, blonde with frame-less glasses over sky blue eyes that, although underlined with stress and lack of sleep, radiated a disarming, motherly warmth. Her heels clicked as Gohan was wheeled into the room and she smiled at him.
"Young Son, welcome," she said, motioning for the nurse to position Gohan's wheelchair at the end of the room, facing the large monitor on the wall.
"Is that your son?" Gohan asked, eyeing the framed picture of the doctor and the small child on her desk. The child had long, unkempt black hair and golden eyes that glared at the camera. The doctor smiled and shook her head.
"Oh, no. He's one of my patients. My father is the Director of a research facility where we help troubled children gain control over destructive Quirks. Little Broly here is one of our most special patients. We've been working with him since he was a baby. He's a cranky little fur-ball, but I know one day, he's going to be a great Hero. Anyway, enough about me," she said, waving her hand dismissively. "How are you feeling?"
"Sore," Gohan answered, rubbing his right shoulder. "Very sore, but I'll be alright."
"That's quite a powerful Quirk you have, young man," Doctor Kliesen walked over to the monitor and turned it on with a flip of a switch. The monitor's stark white light brightened the entire room and Kliesen brought up Gohan's x-rays. "But what's most fascinating is the way your body is responding to your Quirk."
"Really? Fascinating?" Gohan asked.
"Well, it seems that the more you use your Quirk, the more malleable your muscle mass is becoming. Normally, that's a devastating side effect. You're simply pushing your body further and further beyond its limit without giving it a chance to fully recover. It's a miracle your body hasn't burst into a million pieces already! But instead of that, the scar tissue tells another story. Your body is not only recovering, it's becoming more and more durable. Gohan, you're literally becoming more powerful the more you get injured! Has your body always reacted to your Quirk this way?"
"Erm, actually my Quirk just manifested not too long ago." Gohan said slowly in an effort to choose his words carefully. "Up until my fifteenth birthday, my family thought that I was Quirkless."
"Ah, but that's because your previous doctor probably focused on the joints in your pinky-toes, right?"
"I… guess so?" Gohan scratched his head, raising an eyebrow. "Isn't that how we determine who has Quirks or not?"
"Yes, the joint-method works on most people. But you aren't 'most people', Gohan." The doctor crossed her arms and leaned forward, eyes sparkling. "I think you're something truly special."
"Oh really? What's that?" Gohan asked, fighting to contain the excitement growing in his belly.
Doctor Kliesen gave off a giggle and switched to an x-ray of Gohan's feet.
"As you can see here, you've got an extra joint of both of your pinky toes – the telltale sign of being Quirkless…"
Gohan leaned in, staring at the extra joint that had reminded him all of his life that nothing about him was special.
"But over the years," Doctor Kliesen continued, "there has been an influx of cases where Quirkless children with three joints in their toes manifested powerful, sometimes even destructive Quirks. It was a doctor from Madrid, Spain, who first discovered the phenomenon. He called it La Comezón, or the Itch in Spanish, because the subje- I mean, the patients exhibited an uncontrollable itch that resulted in the immediate birth of a particular Quirk – a monkey-like tail protruding from their lower back. Aside from the tail, the patients discovered they had incredible speed, agility, stamina, and strength. Their muscle density began to fluctuate, able to increase and decrease in an instant. And most amazing of all is that some of them even had the ability to harness a mysterious source of energy and weaponize it. The medical research community has observed this phenomenon over the last five years or so and, after careful review of patient genealogy and Quirk analysis, we came to a conclusion. All of the patients involved share a common ancestry, a people born from history and folklore – the Saiyans."
A Saiyan, Gohan thought to himself. Just like Piccolo and Ojiro had said. Endeavor's people…
"That is what you are, Gohan," Doctor Kliesen smiled, switching to an x-ray scan of Gohan's lower back. She pointed at an area where a small, circular joint was slightly raised away from the spine. "You're a Saiyan. Judging by the maturation of the joints, I'd say your tail emerged when you were just a little boy, possibly around three or four years old."
"But I don't remember ever having a tail," Gohan said, squinting at the scan.
"Correct. See this line? It's an incision. At some point, your tail was cut clean off, and that possibly dampened your powers."
No, that's not what erased my powers. Gohan thought as he stared at the scan. It was that memory wipe… this just adds more unanswered questions.
"If you don't mind," the doctor continued, "I'd like to forward a sample of your blood to a couple of my colleagues for analysis. That data would be invaluable in helping us figure out more about what a Saiyan is. And in turn, we'll be better suited to help the Saiyans here in Japan who may still be manifesting the Comezón. We've learned a lot from the few samples we've had, but the majority of Saiyan lineage is found in Europe."
"Well, okay…" Gohan nodded. "If it's going to help other people, I don't see what the harm is."
"Excellent," Doctor Kliesen clasped her hands together. "We've arranged transportation to take you back to UA. Your teachers are expecting you there. The other students that came in for treatment have already returned."
"Thank you, Doctor Kliesen," Gohan said, trying his best to bow respectfully, but a sharp pain shot up from his abdomen and made him recoil.
"Take care now," Doctor Kliesen waved as the nurse wheeled Gohan away from the room. The door shut and Kliesen eagerly picked up the telephone from her desk.
"Director," she said when the other line picked up. "It's Erica Kliesen. I found another potential subject. I'll be sending his samples shortly. Ye-Yes. Yes, sir. His S-Cell count this morning peaked at thirty-thousand, post-combat. Yes, I understand. Let me know if you want me to send him in. Oh and by the way, how is Bro… I mean, the Weapon?"
CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN – LICKING THE WOUNDS
Eijiro Kirishima walked out of the Nurse's office with a slight limp. Because of his hardening Quirk, his injuries had been overall superficial – no broken bones, or anything like that. But he had suffered serious burns that called for Recovery Girl's attention, and after the old lady used her Quirk on him, he had rested in her office for the past three hours and had finally gained enough stamina to return to class.
"Red!" He heard a familiar voice call out to him. He looked up to see Videl running down the hall towards him, with Jiro following closely behind her.
"Hey, V," Kirishima smiled, scratching the side of his head. The pigtailed girl jumped into his arms and wrapped her arms around him, digging her fingernails into Kirishima's gray school jacket.
"Oof! Careful, that hurts," he groaned, wrapping his arms around Videl's tiny waist. She reached up and cupped his cheeks, guiding his face down for a sweet kiss that lit a fire in Kirishima's stomach.
"Can you two maybe tone it down a bit?" Jiro complained, looking away, flustered by the pair's shameless display of affection.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say, Earlobes," Videl glared at Jiro, annoyed. "Go get Sparky so we can get back to class.
Jiro rolled her eyes and walked into the nurse's office to look for Kaminari.
"Sorry about that, Jiro," Kirishima apologized as she passed them, arms folded in front of her chest. Videl grabbed Kirishima's wrist and wrapped his arm around her neck and held it there, staring up at him mischievously.
"What's up?" Kirishima asked with a laugh.
"You should have seen us, Red!" Videl said, excitedly. "We kicked major villain ass. And that skinny methhead looking bastard gave me an idea for an awesome new attack!"
"Heh, badass."
"Hell yeah! I'm gonna have to train really hard, but I think-"
Suddenly, they were interrupted by Videl's cellphone. She released Kirishima's wrist and dug into her student jacket's pocket for it, but when she saw the caller ID, she groaned angrily.
"Sorry babe, I gotta take this," she sighed, shoving Kirishima's arm from her shoulder. Babe? Kirishima's heart almost stopped.
Videl walked over to windows for privacy.
"What do you want?" She hissed, tucking her free hand under her other arm. "I'm fine! You don't need to be coddling me like I'm some freakin' baby, okay? ...Yeah, so what? I did what I had to do to stop those damn villains… Uh, because it's my freakin' job! Okay, I don't have time for this. Call me after school. Kick rocks, Miguel."
Kirishima's smile melted and his heart sank. So that's who it was…
"Sorry about that," Videl said, shoving her phone back into her pocket angrily.
"No worries," Kirishima forced himself to smile, despite the pit in his stomach. "I didn't hear anything. Let's get out of here."
"Thank you. Bakugo and I got you some beef steaks from the market… what was left of it, that is," Videl smiled, her intense expression softening. "Come on. Let's go warm them up for you. The Hobo-in-chief's giving us detention for sneaking out so you better eat something because it doesn't sound like we're getting out till much later."
She began to wrap Kirishima's arm over her shoulder again and froze.
"What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"What?" Kirishima asked.
Videl stared up at him, the corner of her lips lifting into an amused smile. She started to giggle uncontrollably.
"...stop that!" She said.
"Stop… what?"
Videl giggles turned into laughter.
"You! You're jealous!" She laughed.
"No I'm not!"
"You are! I can feel it! Ohh, don't tell me you're jealous that I got something to eat with Bakudork!"
Kirishima's cheeks burned with a red blush.
"That isn't it at all," he said, trying and failing to hide his broken pride.
"Then what is it?"
Kirishima gritted his teeth.
"Why does he get to call you?"
"Who, Miguel?"
"Y-yeah…"
"Because she's got my number," Videl laughed.
Kirishima lifted his head.
"…she?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah. Miguel's not some dude. She's my mom!" Videl slapped her hands on her belly, laughing so hard that it caught the attention of everyone in the hall.
Kirishima stared at her.
"She's your… ohhh."
"Yeah, ohhh," Videl mocked, grabbing Kirishima by the necktie and pulling him close to her. Kirishima fell forward on top of Videl, supporting himself with both hands against the wall. Their faces were now mere inches away from each other, their bodies pressed against each other.
"You're my man, Red. Understood?" Videl whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck, her deep blue eyes staring into Kirishima's crimson eyes. Kirishima tried to say something but his tongue was tied, so he simply gave her a quick, flustered nod.
"Good," Videl barked with a devilish grin. "Now kiss me, you adorable dumbass!"
"Aw, dammit," Kaminari sighed as Jiro rolled him out of the Nurse's office in a wheelchair.
"What?" Jiro scoffed. "You actually thought she'd be interested in a weirdo like you, Jambrain?"
"Hey! No need to get personal, Jiro!"
Jiro chortled as they rolled past the kissing couple.
"By the way," Kaminari said. "Thanks."
"Holy crap! He does have manners in that jambrain after all!" Jiro feigned surprise, holding a hand up to her chest.
"I'm serious!" Kaminari said. "Thanks for saving our asses back there. If you hadn't sent Gohan and the gang to help-"
"Yeah, well…" Jiro cut him off, tucking a purple bang behind her ear. "Don't mention it. I don't know how you did it, but if you hadn't sent me that message, I wouldn't have known that you dude's were stuck out there. And they way you held your own against that huge villain was… kinda dope – for a jambrain."
Kaminari's eyes shined.
"Yay! Yay!"
"Just sucks that everyone gets to go home and we're stuck in detention."
"Don't remind me," Kaminari's smile dropped. "We didn't even do anything!"
(…)
It was already past five in the afternoon when Gohan was dropped off at the gates of UA High. Behind him lay the ruins of the market that had been attacked by the League of Villains.
Already, construction crews were underway, clearing and rebuilding where they could. Part of him wanted to peel away from school and help, but he knew he was already in enough trouble as it is.
Gohan tore his gaze away from the scene and walked up the steps and entered the school. By now, the students from the other classes had already gone home and an eerie calm rested over the empty hallways of the school, making each of his steps echo. He briefly entered the locker room and changed into his school uniform and after fastening the gold buttons on his gray jacket, he made his way to his classroom.
"Yeah, I'm alright, Dende," Gohan was saying into his cellphone as he reached the door to classroom 1A. "Hey, tell Piccolo and Nail not to wait up. I've got… detention."
"WAAHAHAHA! Dentention? Seriously?" Dende laughed heartily. Gohan groaned. "This really is a cruel and unjust world. They should be giving you a medal for defending the city, not detention!"
"Yeah well, I broke the rules. At least they're not pressing charges for using our Quirks without a license."
"Yeah, Uncle Piccolo was furious when he heard the news, but I could tell he was a little proud. You're doing what we set out to do in the first place – save people. So… I'm proud of you, man!"
Gohan smiled.
"Thanks, Dende."
"Alright. Well, take care of yourself man," Dende said. "See you when you get back."
Gohan ended the call and slid the phone back into his pocket. He opened the door to find the rest of the class silently waiting for him.
"Gohan!" Ochaco gasped quietly, clasping her hands together under her chin, elbows on her desk.
"Welcome back to class, Son," Aizawa said, his voice monotone as always. "Take your seat."
Gohan nodded quickly and walked over by his seat. As he passed by the first seat in his row, he caught sight of Iida's burning glare through his glasses. Of course, Iida would be furious. Because of Gohan's decision to engage the villains, the entire class was getting punished.
"Iida," Gohan said. "I'm so sorr-"
"I believe Mister Aizawa instructed you to sit down, Son," Iida spat out.
Iida hadn't been Gohan's closest friend – not by a long shot. Even so, his iciness stung.
Gohan sighed and walked past Iida and Mina, who was struggling to stay awake. Ochaco was next. A black bruise encircled her right eye and a tiny purple bruise was forming at the edge of her mouth. Even so, her eyes sparkled as they met his.
"Hi!" Ochaco whispered excitedly, waving her hand furiously as he passed her.
"Urara-chan," Gohan smiled sadly. Ochaco bit at the bruise on the corner of her lip and kept waving until he sat down. Gohan felt a wave of regret wash over him. It was his fault that his friends were hurt and now getting punished. Gohan swung his messenger bag over his shoulder and plopped it down on his desk. He breathed in a heavy sigh and turned to his teacher.
"Mister Aizawa-"
"Quiet!" Aizawa barked forcefully. "Welcome to after-school detention, Class 1A. I'm so glad to see that my students have so much energy that they're picking fights outside of school. Mashirao Ojiro, Melissa Shield, Izuku Midoriya, Videl Satan, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, and especially you, Son Gohan – you all defied my specific instructions to stay put in the library. Not only that, you used your Quirks in public without the proper authorization – an actual crime!"
"Uh-oh," Melissa lowered her head apprehensively.
"For that, not only should you be expelled, you should be arrested! And the rest of you, too, for not informing me of this open rebellion. However, given the circumstances, we've decided we're going to punish you with detention. Learn from this experience. The next time something like this happens, I won't hesitate on failing the entire class. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, sir," the class responded somberly.
"Mister Aizawa?" Momo spoke up, raising her hand.
"Yes, Class Rep?"
"I… I have something I need to say to the Class before we begin."
"Please."
Momo stood up, head bowed, fist clenched against her chest and made her way to the front of the class.
"I've been thinking about this and… and I think Gohan should be our Class Rep."
"WHAT?!" Gohan spat out, falling out of his desk. "ME? But… Why?"
Iida glanced up at her from his seat. His glare burned through her, but he remained silent.
"I'm the one that got us all in trouble," Gohan said quickly. "Some of you got really hurt out there. If it hadn't been for-"
"Respectfully, I disagree," Momo shook her head. "You're the one that motivated everyone to go rescue Kaminari, Kirishima, Videl and Bakugo."
"Hah? Ricebowl didn't rescue me!" Bakugo bellowed. Momo ignored his outburst.
"Our classmates' lives were in danger, and all I could do was cower in the library with Iida until Mister Aizawa asked us to help. If it hadn't been for your determination, I don't know if we would even be here at all. This class deserves a true leader – someone who will show us the way to grow and lead by example, not just someone who will tell others what to do. So… yes, I nominate Gohan to lead as Class Representative."
Gohan shook his head.
"You know, I can get behind Gohan, all the way!" Kirishima said, giving Gohan a thumbs up.
"I, too, trust in Gohan's judgment," Tokoyami agreed.
"Yeah, Gohan would make the perfect Class Rep," Izuku told Melissa.
"Mhm," she nodded in agreement. "No doubt!"
"You know you've got my vote!" Ochaco shouted excitedly, throwing her hands in the air. "You always have."
Gohan's cheeks burned and he felt emotion swell in his chest.
"Iida," he said. "What do you think?"
Iida's shoulders raised and lowered.
"I do not approve of what you did, Gohan. But… Yaoyorozu has a point. And if that's the Class Rep's wishes," he said without turning. "I will respect it."
"Then I accept," Gohan said. "Please help me whip this class into shape, Vice Rep."
Iida finally turned and his expression had softened, slightly.
"Yes," he smiled, eyes narrowed.
"Fine, Gohan is the new Class Rep. Your classmates are going to look up to you for leadership. Don't let them down. Now, if that's settled, it's time to get into your Detention Assignment," Mister Aizawa said. "Rescue Training."
"Whoa," Izuku's eyes widened.
"Yeah," Melissa whispered.
"For that, you're going to be donning your costumes and joining me and a handful of teachers at a special training ground for an evening of training." Aizawa raised the palm-sized remote and clicked on it. The classroom wall opened up, revealing the class's hero costumes. "Those of you who haven't gotten your upgraded costumes back from your chosen costume companies may use your Gym uniforms with some accessories. Let's get to it."
(…)
"Are you sure you can't wear it?" Gohan asked Izuku as the green-haired boy stared longingly at the charred Hero costume that his mother had made for him. "Not even the hood?"
"No way," Izuku sighed, poking a hand through a fist-sized hole in the green fabric. "It's beyond saving right now. At least I was able to save the accessories – the utility belt and the face-guard. Plus, Melissa made me these awesome new gauntlets that are supposed to help regulate the power of my Smashes."
Izuku lifted his arm to show Gohan the sleek red ribbon-like armor that wove around his knuckles down to his elbow.
"Whoa! I definitely need to get me one of those!" Gohan marveled, tapping the material with this fingernail.
"What about you?" Midoriya asked. "You haven't gotten your replacement costume back from Capsule Corp yet?"
"Not yet, though I was able to save the red cape from my last costume before it got eaten up by Mina's acid. And I always have my trusty scouter. That's about all I need. I'll just use my Gym Clothes until I get my replacement."
The two boys continued changing in silence.
Gohan managed to catch a glimpse at a series of black bruises on Ojiro's back as he wrapped his green Crane School gi over his body.
He could no longer bear the guilt he felt for dragging everyone into this mess.
"Hey, you guys…"
The boys turned to look at Gohan as he stood from the locker room seat.
"Ohh, uh, hey… Gohan." Sato said. "What's up?"
"I just wanna say… " Gohan breathed in. "From the bottom of my heart – I'm sorry. I was only trying to help. I never meant to get any of you hurt or in trouble."
"Gohan…" Izuku whispered.
"You don't have to apologize," Ojiro smiled, tilting his head. "We're heroes. It's what we do."
"But I do have to apologize," Gohan insisted. "I forget that not all of you are as strong or durable as I am."
"Gee, thanks," Kaminari laughed. "Really raising our spirits there, Gohan."
"What I mean is, the more punches I take, the stronger I get. And because of that, I just jump into a fight without thinking much about the consequences on my body. And if only I-"
"Gohan," Iida interrupted, standing up from the bench.
"Yeah?" Gohan stammered, as the blue-haired boy walked over to him. When he was a couple feet away, he dropped his head and bowed. The move caught everyone off guard.
"Whoa, Iida! What are you-"
"I'm sorry," Iida said. "I'm the one who should be apologizing to you. It's just as Yaoyorozu said. You risked your life to save our classmates, while I coward behind the rules. You've proven yourself a much worthier candidate for Class Representative – and you're a far greater Hero than I am."
"Iida…" Gohan whispered.
"So don't feel guilty because today, we're all getting a chance to earn our stripes. We are Class 1A. Where one of us goes, the rest will follow – united."
Gohan felt a sigh of relief escape him, along with his fears and guilt. He looked around the locker room at every face there. Sato, Midoriya, Ojiro, Shoji, Tokoyami, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Koda. Their faces reflected resolve and unity that Gohan hadn't felt in a while, smiling together in their brotherly bond.
"Thanks, Iida," he finally said with a smile, unable to keep his eyes from watering. "You have no idea how much I needed to hear that."
"Damn, that was such a manly speech!" Kirishima said, holding a fist against his chest.
"Sorry to interrupt your circle-jerk, boys," Videl interrupted rudely, startling the boys. "Hey Gohan, Yaoyorozu's wanting to talk to you about something."
"Right now?" Gohan asked.
"Yeah. She's waiting outside the locker rooms."
"Well… alright."
As Gohan walked past Videl, Kirishima grabbed his girlfriend by the shoulders and hurriedly ushered her out of the locker room.
"Are you crazy?" he hissed. "Some of us are still getting dressed!"
"As if any of those nerds had anything impressive to see anyway…" Videl scoffed.
Outside of the locker room, Momo was waiting for Gohan in her red hero costume. She glanced up when she saw him coming and smiled.
"Hey, Momo," Gohan said. "You wanted to see me?"
"Yes, sorry for bothering you. I just wanted to say thank you for accepting the responsibility of being Class Rep. Even though it's something that I long for, I know I still have a long way to go before I can serve my classmates with as much selflessness and determination as you do, and I admire you for that."
"Oh," Gohan looked away shyly from his taller classmate. "Thanks, Yaoyorozu. I appreciate your faith in me. I'll do my best. And I won't let you down."
"I know you won't, and I want to give you something that will help, at least for today," Momo nodded, bringing the case up and offering it to him. "A Class Rep must always dress for success."
"Is this your Hero Costume?" Gohan asked. "Thanks, but I don't think it'd fit me very well."
"Of course not!" Momo giggled. "This isn't my Costume. It's Todoroki's. It's Grade A Capsule Corp battle armor modeled after Endeavor's war suit. It's built to withstand megaton pressure and maintain its form despite overwhelming stress. Essentially, when your muscles expand, the suit will expand with you. Truly, a one-size-fits-all!"
"Wow! Thanks! But is Shoto okay with you giving me this?" Gohan asked, taking the suitcase. "I'd hate to impose."
"Oh, you're good." Momo said. "Todoroki refuses to wear anything that resembles his father's armor. I already asked him and he's fine with you using it. Just leave him the temperature regulator. He kind of needs that."
"Right," Gohan nodded. "Thank you, Yaoyorozu. You're the best!"
"Back at ya, Class Rep," Momo said with a friendy grin. "Do you… need help putting it on? The armor, I mean. Not the bodysuit… obviously."
"Thanks for the offer," Gohan laughed. "I think I can manage on my own."
Ochaco, who was spying on the encounter from the door to the girl's locker room immediately saw red at the thought of another girl watching Gohan get dressed.
What? What am I even thinking?! Ochaco scolded herself, feeling her cheeks brighten and blood rush up to her nose. Go away, bad thoughts!
She punched herself on the side of her helmet, hard.
"Ochaco?" Tsu asked, worried by her bizarre behavior. "What was that for?"
(…)
"Alright, is everyone ready?" Mister Aizawa called. "The bus is here. Let's not keep him waiting, shall we?"
"Right!" Iida said, straightening his back and his glasses. "Everybody line up! We're leaving!"
"Wait a sec," Ochaco said, looking around. "Where's Gohan?"
As if on cue, Gohan stepped out of the locker room wearing the Saiyan battle gear that Todoroki had loaned him – a durable, form-fitting lightweight blue undersuit covered his entire body like a glove, down to his wrists and ankles and traveled up to his jaw in a turtle-neck style. The gold-accented, stark white armor that protected his chest, back and torso was clasped securely against his body by golden, padded straps, and he wore matching white gloves and steel tipped boots that reached his elbows and knees respectively.
"Sorry about the wait, you guys!" Gohan said cheerfully, flipping the scouter on and attaching it to the left side of his face. The scouter instantly flared to life. "Let's get going!"
"Wow! Nice look!" Ochaco chirped, jogging to join up with him. As she walked up to him, she couldn't help but notice how nicely the tight undersuit outlined his toned thighs and glutes.
Feeling a rush of blood in her nose, she cracked a fist against her helmet.
Stop thinking bad thoughts!
"Uraraka!" Ojiro cried, eyes wide with worry.
(…)
The twenty-minute bus ride felt more like an hour, with Bakugo shouting insults, obscenities and threats around the entire bus.
Finally, they reached their destination – the Unforeseen Simulation Joint.
"Whoa, would you look at that, Gohan!" Ochaco gasped, looking outside the window. "The USJ!"
"Yeah," Gohan nodded, admiring the seemingly heaven-reaching domed building. "I know this is supposed to be a punishment, but honestly, I'm kind of excited to get some rescue training."
"I know, right!" Ochaco chirped, turning back around to face Gohan. "When Midoriya and I went to rescue the people from the mall earlier, there was this lady with a cute little boy that were trapped by a fallen support pillar. Seeing the little boy's crying face full of relief, knowing that everything would be alright… I treasure that more than the memory of actually fighting the villains."
Gohan smiled and took Ochaco's hand, giving it a slight squeeze.
"You're a wonderful person, Ochaco," he said, looking down at her tiny hand in his. "Never change, please."
"You really mean that Gohan?"
"Holy whoa! Look you guys!" Midoriya shouted, breaking their moment. Ochaco and Gohan immediately withdrew their hands and looked away. "It's the Space Hero: Number Thirteen and the Android Hero: Number Eighteen! They're the chivalrous dynamic duo that's rescued countless people across the world!
The two women were standing at the entrance, waiting for the bus to pull in. Eighteen had tucked her blonde hair into a ponytail behind her, and she wore her Pro Hero debut costume – a black sleeveless vest over a plain white shirt and blue jeans, while Thirteen wore her traditional vacuum sealed space suit.
The bus pulled in and the students exited. Gohan caught Eighteen's gaze and she waved at him with a grin.
"What are you, some kind of chick magnet?" Kaminari grumbled as he passed by.
"Woo-hoo!" Ochaco bounced, unable to control her excitement. "Thirteen is one of my favorite Heroes!"
"Eighteen!" Melissa yelled, running to hug the Pro Hero, who giggled and returned the hug.
"Hey, kiddo. Long time no see," she said. "How's Dad doing?"
"Way too long," Melissa smiled. " Sam's great, as always. He's hoping you and Seventeen can drop by in the summer for the I-Expo. He said he's got a surprise for you guys!"
"Heh, I could use a good vacation. Krillin's been so busy with his new assignment in the Police Force that we barely have time to relax with Marron. So… I'll think about it. Your costume looks great, by the way!"
"Thanks," Melissa giggled. "I'm working with a couple of students from the Support Class on it. I have some exciting updates I'd love to show you!"
"Can't wait, kid," Eighteen smiled.
"Wow, Melissa seems to know everyone, huh?" Tsu commented to Midoriya as they watched the exchange between the two blondes.
"Welcome, Class 1A!" Thirteen bowed, gathering everyone's attention. "Tonight, as you're probably aware of, you will be taking part in exercises that will hone your rescue skills. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness tests, you're likely well aware of your Quirk's potential. And thanks to All Might's combat training, you now have a solid foundation on how to use your powers to defend others. And now it is time to use those lessons to save others. Rescuing people is the essence of being a Hero. When you rescue someone, you change that person forever. You teach them to be strong, that they can and should hold on just a little longer. But saving someone is not as straightforward as punching a villain in the face – especially for those of you with destructive Quirks."
"That's right," Eighteen said, stepping forward, arms folded over her chest. Her sky blue eyes scanned every student in the class. "Some of you have been gifted with extraordinary Quirks that prove useful during combat. Some of those Quirks are destructive. Take Thirteen, for example. Her Quirk is Black Hole. She is able to suck up any physical object into her fingers and turn them instantly into dust."
"Mhm!" Ochaco nodded excitedly. "But still, Thirteen only uses her Quirk on nonliving things, like when she stopped that huge tornado from hitting Dagoba Harbor a few years ago."
"Precisely," Eighteen said. "But that useful Quirk of hers can easily be used to kill. Some of you have equally powerful Quirks that can be dangerous. In our superhuman society, are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook just how devastating they can actually be."
That's true, Gohan brushed his jaw thoughtfully. There have been a few times when I almost went overboard when dealing with the back alley thugs in Namek. I held back, but some of them still got hurt.
"As you complete each lesson, please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly, even if you're trying to do something virtuous, like rescue someone."
Just like that that fire villain I fought in Namek, Gohan thought. I almost killed him when I lost control – not to mention when I lost it in front of Mom and Goten.
Gohan's eyes narrowed with determination.
"We promise, we'll take this seriously and won't play around. We understand how serious this is."
"Thank you, Class Rep," Eighteen smiled. She turned and waved for everyone to follow them inside.
The class gawked in awe as they entered. The place was massive!
From one corner of the domed building to the very end, there were six enormous stages packed with lifelike props to simulate all sorts of disasters.
"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, etcetera," Thirteen held her arms out, welcoming the students inside. "We created this training facility to help teach the importance of rescuing – that is, after all, what being a Hero is all about; Ensuring the safety of others."
Midoriya and Melissa's eyes gleamed with emotion.
"Whoa, Thirteen and Eighteen are so cool!"
"Yeah!" Melissa said, giddily. "Wait till you meet her brother, Seventeen. He's just as cool!"
"Alright, everyone," Aizawa called, getting everyone's attention. "We only have three hours to complete all six exercises, so let's not waste any time chatting. Class Rep?"
"Yes, sir," Gohan nodded. "Alright, we're going to form four groups of-"
Suddenly, his scouter beeped uncontrollably.
Gohan froze and glanced at the tiny image in the scouter lens.
A power level had emerged from out of thin air. Gohan swiveled on his heel, but there was nothing there.
That's… weird…
The scouter beeped again, warning him that another power level had surged forward.
"Is there a problem, Son?" Aizawa asked, irritated.
"I'm sorry, sir," Gohan said, tapping on the side of his scouter. "Seems like there's something wrong with-"
And then the scouter began to beep incessantly, highlighting dozens of power levels. Dozens more. Dozens even more, still.
The Declaration of War! Gohan's eyes widened and he turned back to face the plaza in the direction of the power levels. The lights dimmed momentarily, unnerving the class. There, at the center of the USJ Plaza, a purplish-black mist appeared, swirling violently and growing in size. A hand reached out from within and a ghoulish creature with several pairs of hands clasped onto his limbs and face crawled out. As if on cue, dozens of nightmarish villains began to pour out into the plaza from within the warp gate.
"Gohan! Gohan!" Dende's frantic voice called over the scouter. "I'm picking up a massive power surge where you're at. It matches the reports of a power surge that appeared just before the Winged Serpant's Village was destroyed. It's the League of Villains! You need to get-"
Static filled Gohan's ear, drowning out Dende's voice.
"Mister Aizawa!" Gohan shouted. "Those are villains!"
"I see them!" Aizawa was already in motion, stepping in front of the students protectively.
"Whoa, has the training started already?" Kirishima asked. "I thought we were saving people."
"Everybody, get back!" Gohan yelled.
"Do as your Class Rep says!" Eighteen commanded, cracking her knuckles and joining Aizawa. "This is not an exercise. Those are real villains!"
"Hey, I know those guys!" Twice shouted, pointing at the Z Fighters. "WHO ARE THEY?"
"Those brats are no concern of mine," Mercenary Tao spat, folding his hands behind his back. "My contract is on All Might."
"Aw, don't be such a stinker, old man," Yurin yelled, stomping her foot. "Fine, make my Majin do all the dirty work. See if I care."
"I can't wait to gobble them up!" Monster Carrot roared, licking his lips, his rabbit ears flicking back and forth.
"Hey, Scarface," Shorty said, popping the bones on his neck and pointing at Gohan and Shoto. "Looks like a pair of baby Saiyans. This fight might turn out to be more than a bloodbath after all."
"Yeah, the Saibamen can take care of the other weaklings."
"G-Gohan…" Ochaco's lips trembled as more and more villains poured out of the warp gate.
"Stay behind me!" Gohan said. "Everything's gonna be alright!"
"Greetings. Allow us to introduce ourselves," a tenebrous voice boomed from out of the mist. It coagulated and took form as the last villain – a hooded figure with a black cloak and a white mask, emerged. The mist swirled to form a humanoid body. "We are the League of Villains."
Ending Song:
"Let Me Hear" by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
A/N: This is where the fun begins! The culmination to Season 1 of Path of the Dragon. I hope you guys like what's in store. I included a little bit of lore here, as well as a tease of something... coming, pun intended! I burrowed the character of Emma Kliesen from Tekken universe. If you guys are familiar with Tekken, you'll have a hint of what's in store. By the way, the villains highlighted here won't be the only ones that will fight – they're more like the "generals" per se. But will they be able to withstand the combined strength of Aizawa, Eighteen and Thirteen? Find out in the next update!
Review Responses (from like three months ago, lol)
Hmm chapter 1 . Jun 12
YOOOOO, Gohan just got a new form I wonder if you'll ever incorporate that form to this or another story of yours.
HEY! I know! Loved the new look. Like a twist on Super Saiyan 3 with that hair, huh? To answer your question… I'm not sure. I need to find out a little more about it to see if it fits in the scenes I've written. I have at least two forms planned for Gohan that he's never experienced. One of them very very soon, actually. But if I can make Blanco work, then for sure I'd love to use it!
Brandon Dupere chapter 24 . May 27
Encore désolé pour l'erreur de traduction, je disait, imaginer que Cell est All For One
Brandon Dupere chapter 25 . May 23
Désolé pour l'erreur de traduction, je voulais dire que Vegeta est Endeavor et non pas effort.
Brandon Dupere chapter 26 . May 23
Vegeta est endeavor, le dr Gero est Sam, l'associé de shield, Gine est Nana Shimura et Muten Roshi est Gran Torino. Qui comme moi pari que Cell sera all for one
Euh… sans commentaire hehehehe:)
X3runner chapter 26 . May 23
I dig the cliff right at the end having story points but not leaving lives of people hanging. I also dig that you went and showed the effect that gohan had on goten.
X3! Thanks for the kind review, as always! I'm so glad you liked the chapter. As for the "post-credit" after scenes, that's a good idea. I try to tease what's coming ahead. Used to have in-character previous, but I always ended up biting off more than I could chew with those, so I gave them up a while ago.
Anyway, so great to hear from you again! Hope you've been well!
Hmm chapter 25 . May 18
That ending tho
Hehehe yussss it's coming!
Xeno Gohan chapter 25 . May 17
WOAHHHHHHH another chapter, finally
the story's looking really bright
that Kaioken from Gohan though that is something else
the Z FIGHTERS being formed is really nice looking forward for the enxt chapter
Thanks so much for the kind review, as always, Xeno. I really appreciate your support! I tried to model his Kaioken after Goku's in the Saiyan saga, since it's still in the early stages of development. But as we move further on down the line, we'll see how Gohan uses this Quirk in line with the rest of the ones he will inherit from his ancestors.

cringe
Yup, especially the early chapters. I suck at writing, but I do it anyway ;P
Elchico 64 chapter 25 . May 11
Boy, this was amazing! You can see the effort put on the scenes and,, not to mention, the action! It was brutal! I understand why you did longer than the last one, there was a lot for the character being the center of each interaction, Gohan and Izuku highlighted.
I like how you represent Todoroki. Distant and antisocial like the first season, but it has no problem on helping his classmates. Bakugo and Videl, haha, they're going to be the best friends forever in the own way. Gohan and Ochako, still the cutest couple.
The society of heroes its more like hypocrote and archaic, where most of the population gets there own super abbilities, preferably being heroes, while the civilians depends so much on them. Some heroes break the rules or when someone else take care of their job, they blame the good guy and, sometime, take the credit for it.
If things were like the mutanta of X-Men, wouldn't be heores except for the Police Force and the supernatural power will be oppressed, destroying every right of that people. In MHA its the opposite if you think about it.
Also, I wonder who is this traitor from UA. I didn't expect that, but it seems someone with an incredibly intelect and probably a strong or weak Quirk.
Anyway, this everything I had to say. You do a great job, the wait totally worth it! Thanks for the kind review in my new Xover, too. Take of yourself, bro!
I agree with you about the commentary on superhuman society in this universe. Everyone just lets heroes take care of everything without wanting to help others, and that in part is what created Tomura Shigaraki in canon. A big theme in this story will be "changing the world". Even Gohan is struggling with that, as that is one of his main goals.
And as for Todoroki, I like to think there's a little warmth in his heart, underneath all the snow.
Guest chapter 25 . May 11
Let's fucking GOOOOOOOOO!
Awesome! Gohan kicked his ass, Nappa style and the moment where Bakugo almost fell bad for Deku was great!
That damn cliffhanger tho fuuuuck I hope that's not Iida
That's exactly what I was going for. The first season is sort of a reflection of the Saiyan saga so keep that in mind… And no, it ain't Iida haha
FLACO23 chapter 8 . May 8
Dude, Everything in this chapter was amazingly weaved together. Quite literally how Steven Minecraft was adapted masterfully to Smash Bros. Ultimate, you have grounded the events of Dragon Ball to MHA. I do wonder what happened to Raditz or Kami, hell, if they even exist.
From the Son Farm to the sudden awakening of Gohan's latent quirk, this story has been methodically thought out and executed. Piccolo having his regen stolen does seem like a stretch, considering we've namedropped Saiyans and Namekians here, but everything else around it seems cool.
Keep doing a great job King!
Wow, thank you so much for those kind words of encouragement, King. They mean so much to me, and yeah there's quite a few flaws in my story. Maybe one day I'll be able to go back and fix a lot of the plot holes and grammar errors.
As for Piccolo… stay tuned. It will be glorious.
Elchico 64 chapter 24 . Apr 7
Hey, Eclipse! Dude, this was... Awesome! No, seriously, this chapter was full of action to non-stop. Videl and Eijiro, the balance offense and defense duo, it give me the hype in the first round against Yamu.
And when Bakugo show up was an excellent way to perform his violent attitude in battle.
I must say, I like how you put some old characters that today are forgettable like the girl who put the Majin mark or extras like Spopovich. Its good to see them in a fanfic in a world of heroes, a little odd for me considering that I lost them with time, but still you have the touched on writing.
Oh, and the final. Lit, I put the song of the Avengers on this one and I could imagine the stage with a midly destroy city. It was perfect, the whole chapter was great! Iida and Yaoyorozu make a good team as Class Rep of 1-A, and yeah it was better go straight to the point and no make a full chapter to decide who will be class rep like in the anime ajhahaha...
Also, about Ochako living alone. You're right, I forgot that you mention it in previous chapter, thats my bad ahaha...
About my new fanfic, don't worry, once I publish and update it here I'll let you know right away! Like a said to you in PM, it wont be much, but enough to start smooth. Maybe it wont be as long like I used to write but it'll do.
Anyway, I hope you stay healthy and keep writing more about Path of the Dragon! Its really great, friend! See you soon!
Heyyyy Chico! Thanks man! That's what I was going for in that and the following chapter. A mini assemble moment. It helps prepare them for the trials that await them soon.
As for the lesser known characters from DB Universe, since they don't exist in MHA Universe, I'm able to give them any backstory I want, and hopefully breathe a new life into them. I try not to go too overboard as to OoC, but sometimes it just happens. That's something I need to work hard to improve. Anyway, thanks for the awesome review. And I am eagerly awaiting the updates to Survivors and now Expelled from Misery, too!
Take care, my friend!

Son Gohan, manifesting multiple quirk's...? ಠ_ಠ
Are you SURE, that this stoy is not some kind of, Izuku replacement story, of a sort?
ಠ_ಠ
By the way, those 'quirks' had better not be, on the level of, one-for-all,
because that, that right there, is grounds for Izuku Replacement!
ಠ_ಠ
I mean, well, you gave Ochako to Gohan, and in the, kinda-sorta, canon, there is Izuocha,
as it would be, in the official capacity.
ಠ_ಠ
Hello there! Thanks for the kind reviews and for the questions. Just something to keep in mind is that even though Gohan will transcend levels of power that Izuku could never even hope to reach, he still won't replace Izuku as the future All Might, Symbol of Peace, in a similar way how, no matter how strong Superman gets, he can never replace Batman, despite the huge difference in power.
And I totally get it, with Ochako. I'm a huge IzuOcha fan myself, but I promise that pairing wasn't done to replace Izuku. Originally, I was going to pair Gohan with Itsuka Kendo, but ended up reworking her as a love rival, since I just think Gohan would be happier with a sweet loving Ochako, whose personality is similar to Housewife Videl in Dragon ball Super.
Rain chapter 24 . Apr 2
Hell yeah now the real fight can begin! I wonder if they will fight one vs one like the Z Warriors of DBZ fight. Just one question, who is Miguel? If that is Videls ex will we see more of him? Clearly Videl is in love with Ejiro so that would be a major problem if she is actually cheating (which I highly doubt but still) and I must say I love love love seeing that Ochako got the idea of kissing Gohan and declaring her love too as Videl says grab life by the horns. I get the feeling that we will finally see a real kiss in this fight or maybe afterwards if one of them is hurt. You made me wait over a year for this dammit!
I also chuckled at the idea that Ojiro saved Kirishima and Videl but left behind Bakugo in the fires lmao also liked the idea of the senzu jelly bean. Nice. Can't wait to see the fight in the next chapter.
Thank you so much for the review. Hope this chapter answered your question about Miguel!
X3runner chapter 24 . Apr 2
I really liked that mini avengers assemble moment they had right at the end. Also it's a good thing you timed gohans arrival to after the really gory/ gruesome stuff (deaths of hero's abd his friends being basically tortured) was over because we might have goten a rage mode gohan to pop up and it feels a little soon for gohan to go full try to kill freezypop on them. I also like that you had denki mind went straight for Jiro it's kinda sweet. I like how gohan not being able to help the people in the earlier chapter is having representations. I do wonder however is gohan pushing his frinds/team going to lease to stain being more keen on them or just more keen on him, you got me thinking about it because ida talked about his brother.
Thanks! I got the idea from how Superman flies into the sky and listens to cries for help. I kinda wanted Denki to develop his Quirk to allow for wireless communication with the help of the phone receiver to reach Jiro's Earphone Jack. Also a chance to show that he really trusts her.
And YESSSS as always! You're spot on with what's coming with Stain as well as his disciples! That's towards the end of Season Two, so stay tuned!
Guest chapter 24 . Apr 2
Finally a update! Loved the action as well as the moments between Videl and Kirishima they make such a great couple, reminds me of Yamcha and Bulma a little bit. And so nice to see kaminari saving the day. Kinda remind me of that moment in OPM where Saitama rescues suiryu. Such an emotional scene!
Kinda makes me sad to see the sidekicks of Fourth Kind since they were hurt/kill and makes sense why Fourth Kind will be reminded of them when he sees Kirishima and TetsuTetsu in the internships.
And as always another fun round of banter between Videl and Ojiro. Cool nod to the sensu beans too.
The z fighters moment ah so much hype bro can't wait for the next chapter keep it up!
Yeah, wanted to include that little bittersweet nod at what Fourth Kind will eventually see in Tetsu Tetsu and Kirishima. BTW, loved that soundtrack, especially the one you're referencing. Very heroic indeed!
Xeno Gohan chapter 24 . Apr 2
after a month, you have finally returned!
what's this? A prequel story? Consider me intrigued
also the whole chapter was fire and has mix of emotions which is well done
like the desperation of the students, death of a hero, the arrival of Gohan and Midoriya, all really cool honestly
looking forward for more
I'm so sorry that it's taking so long to update! But I hope you're enjoying the chapters. We're almost nearing the end of Season 1 and I think the best is still yet to come. Thank you so much for your constant support, as always. I can't stress enough how much it means to me!
Hmm chapter 24 . Apr 2
Nice anothet chapter
"Were the Z fighters" Absolute Chills bruv
Gohan and Midoriya's entrance was fire
Also about the story, I'd read a fic about fuyumi and Gohan right away lol
Thanks! That might be something to look into, if I ever get the chance. I love your ideas! They are so intriguing! Maybe once I complete one of the many fics I'm working on, I'll be able to try my hand at a Gohan x Fuyumi short story.
Thanks again for the reviews!
Well, my friends, we've reached the end. I hope you enjoyed your stay. See you next time. Go watch Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, if you can. You won't regret it!
