"Sorry, I guess I'm a little on edge." Jayne didn't mean to frighten her parents but she was concerned.

Holly reached out and took Jayne's hand, choosing to reassure her. "We are safe. We just got Seana to sleep. Are you hungry?"

Jayne nodded. "Famished, in fact."

The three of them sat down.

"Gives me the perfect opportunity to fill you both in." Robert got another slice after both ladies helped themselves.

"Alright, commish, shoot." Holly replied before taking a bite.

"We had a few leads, and my officers are still looking for the guy that went after Seana. I got another note." Robert quietly told Holly and Jayne.

"What did it say?" Holly asked him.

"Basically, how if I had not pulled you with me, they would have gotten you." Robert felt such defeat even saying that.

"Like hell they would have. People seem to forget that I can and will fight." Holly was far from helpless, she knew Robert knew that but to think that these people thought they could just grab her. It was true she had fallen into bad situations before but she had a lot of fight in her and always would.

"Hey I don't for a second think they could have willingly taken The Holly Scorpio." Robert gave her a grin. "I just hate that they keep targeting you all."

Holly held Robert's hand. "You are going to get this town cleaned up, people are once again going to know not to mess with The Robert Scorpio." Holly told him, meaning every word with her whole heart.

Jayne loved watching the two of them, the love between them. "You know mum is right, I know I haven't known you long but there is no one better than you."

Robert reached over to take Jayne's hand as well. "I don't know what I would do without you two."

"You'll never have to find out." Holly kissed his hand. The three of them finished eating, then Robert and Holly went upstairs to their room.

"You know I remember that first night I spent in here with you." Holly's eyes sparkled as she sat down on the bed, it was definitely not the same one but in the same place the old one was.

Robert's grin grew as he undid his tie, looking over at her. "Oh I do too, luv. I do too."
