How would you react if the person you consider the love of your life didn't even recognize you anymore? Steve asks himself this question when he learns that Cath has amnesia following an assault. And he only has two things on his mind. The first is to find the garbage(s) that did this. The second, let Catherine remember. Remember her life, him, them.

5. Chapter 5

Tripler Medical Center, 5 :00 PM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Catherine knew Steve was fixed on her lips and she knew she was fixing his lips too. He moved his face a little bit closer of Cath's one and she done nothing to move back. Gently, Steve put down his hand on Catherine's cheek and his thumb gone to caress her inferior lip. Catherine still did not move while his face was just at a few millimeters that her one's. However, Steve stopped a few seconds and looked at her.

- "You are so beautiful" he murmured

Catherine was about to answer when Steve put his lips on her one's. An adrenaline shock spread into her veins. He passed a hand on the bottom of her back while she was just let herself go in this kiss. But when she had eyes closed, just enjoyed the moment, an image appeared on her mind, like a flash. She opened immediately her eyes and pushed back slowly Steve, but her hands stayed on his chest.

- "Cath, is all okay?" he worried

She nodded her head and try to recover her breath. She looked up and seen Steve was fixed her, worry and she noticed that his lips were swollen, as hers must have been. Her hands were still on Steve's chest and his hand was still on her back.

- "Have I done something wrong, Cath? Or…Tell me, please» he said.

- "I just had a thing like a flash-back, you know? It's not grave, but it's the first time and that's surprised me." Cath answered.

- "Can you…Just describe it? » Steve asked, comprehensive.

Cath nodded her head and as she goes she explained her vision along, she saw Stev's face became livid.

Steve's POV

When Cath began to describe her flash-back, I was dying of anger. She explained me what she had saw a man with black hair and red glasses who was strike her. Immediately, I began to think this man could be Cath's attacker.

- "Are you thinking you can make a identitik picture or not?" I asked.

-" I don't know, we can try" she said

I nodded before putting a kiss on her forehead.

- "You are the best. I ask to Danny to prepare that."

- "Okay. Mahalo"

I stood up and toke her for go back to her bedroom.

Two hours later, a draughtsman of the HPD came to make the identitik picture of the man seen by Catherine in her mind. During this moment, she done her best to give the best details she can but I can see how it's difficult for her.

The night, Tripler Medical Center, 11:00 PM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Catherine's POV

I can't sleep, I'm thinking about today. I'm thinking about the kiss me and Steve had. It was like magic, I can confess it, but my "flash-back" have really spoiled the moment. Fortunately, he seems take that good.

I try to remember who can be the man I have seen in my mind. Unfortunately, we can't say I remember many things. And it begins to irritate me. Because I had years of life before and I'm forced to begin again with nothing?! I want to remember all until the end, me!

The tomorrow morning, unprecise location, 8:00 AM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

?'s POV

Today, I'm going to see how's Louise. I hope that she doesn't remember me.

At the same time, Iolani Palace, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Steve was waking up earlier this morning because he wanted to know the results of Cath's identitik picture. Because he hoped that it could help the five-o on this case and because he wanted to know who have done that to Catherine.

When he arrived, he saw that Danny was already here.

- "Hey man! What are you doing here?" he asked to him

- "I'm worry for you, baby. I know you want to find Cath's attacker and I think that you need some support."

- "Thank you, Danny. I like it."

- "You are welcome. That's what we do for the family."

Tripler Medical Center, 10:20 PM, Honolulu, O'ahu, Hawaii

Catherine was talking with her parents when someone knocked at the door. She sais to enter and when the door was opened, she straightened.

- "Hello, sorry to disturb you," said the man

- "You don't! answered Cath's mother. We are just talking! Come in!"

The man entered in the room and Cath recognized him. It was the man she had seen in her flash-back, yesterday. She began to panic but she stayed stoic.

- "What's your name?" asked Elizabeth to the man

His face seemed to be surprised.

- "Our daughter is amnestic, she doesn't remember anything, unfortunately."

- "I'm Dan Millerson"
