New Opening Song:
"Lost in Time" by Survive Said the Prophet

The night sky was set ablaze with colorful fireworks, illuminating the stadium with bursts of light, creating an awe-inspiring display that reflected the electric excitement surging through the crowd gathered at the UA High Sports Festival Stadium below.

In the stands, thousands of spectators cheered and applauded down at the four students who took their place in an elevated platform at the center of the stadium.

Three podiums, ascending in height, commanded the center stage. Gohan stood at the base of the highest podium, its pinnacle kissed by a radiant spotlight that painted over it in a soft, white glow.

Okay, this is it, Gohan thought to himself, trying his best to steady his heart pounding against his chest as he began his ascent towards the top of the Number One spot podium. Each step felt like a journey through time, bringing to him thoughts and memories of the long road that had brought him here.

Each step of the slow climb gave Gohan a chance to take it all in—the cacophony of cheers, the vibrant bursts of fireworks that lit the night ablaze with dazzling blues, reds and yellows, and the sea of faces filled with admiration and pride, both from strangers and from his loved ones until finally, he reached the top of the podium, and the spotlight intensified, the multiple cameras casting Gohan's triumphant smile across the screens that hanged along the stadium. The stadium erupted into even louder cheers of wild celebration.

There, at the top of the podium, Gohan caught sight of Izuku. He was standing on the third-place platform to his left. A proud smile adorned Izuku's freckled face, and he extended a bandaged thumbs-up in Gohan's direction. Gohan smiled warmly at his friend and returned the gesture with a happy wink and a wide smile.

Sharing the third-place podium with Izuku was Bakugo, encased in a protective body cast and strapped to his green wheelchair that was adorned in holographic fiery decals. Katsuki was a seething tempest, his bulging eyes wide with anger and contempt. He shook violently against the hardened bandages that held him in place, his growls audible even from a distance. On the armrest of his wheelchair, the stuffed red dragon CC Mascot that Videl had bought for Bakugo, trembled in tandem with Bakugo's agitation.

Izuku chuckled nervously and interlaced his fingers together at the sight of Bakugo's raging outburst, and he took two steps to the side with a bead of sweat on his forehead.

"Man, Bakugo looks like a rabid animal over there," Kirishima remarked, his brow furrowing in concern.

"Yeah, he's not taking this loss well at all," Jiro added, her gaze fixed on the growling blonde.

"Third place win, three times in a row," Videl said, resting her cheek against her hand with a dismissive huff. "Only this time it was in front of the whole world to see. That's gotta be eating at him."

Gohan couldn't help but feel a bit of empathy for Bakugo. He clenched his jaw and shook his head, hoping that time and reflection would help Bakugo come to terms with the outcome of the tournament.

Gohan turned to his right at Shoto, who was standing on the second place podium. For a moment, he thought back on the journey he had gone through with Todoroki throughout the course of the Festival.

Shoto had gone from being a bitter rival of Gohan's who hated everything about himself and his Saiyan lineage, to being someone who had begun to embrace, not just who he was, but the hero he could be – a Saiyan hero unchained from his father's legacy.

And Gohan had experienced firsthand the destructive power of rage, and how every aspect of his powers made him into the hero he was meant to be – a hero who honored his father's memory. Shoto must have felt Gohan's gaze on him because he lifted his head and glanced over at him and Gohan saw something different in Shoto's gaze. Shoto's eyes were stoic, but they held a warmth and understanding that hadn't been there before. The usual steely contempt had given way to a sense of peace that made Gohan genuinely happy.

Shoto gave him the slightest of nods. It was a silent exchange of respect and acknowledgment between two warriors who had faced each other with all their might and had come to understand each other on a deeper level.

There was so much Gohan needed to talk to Shoto about.

But that would have to wait.

The crowd's excitement reached a fever pitch, and Gohan turned back towards the center of the stage to see Midnight strutting forward, commanding everyone's attention.

"And now, ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for. It's time to award our top four contestants with their hard-earned medals! Ohh, but what a shame!" Midnight cooed into the microphone, pressing her elbows against her breasts together suggestively, pouting her lips. "We need a big strong hero to help us hand out the medals… Isn't there anyone who will come and save us?"

The spotlights turned to the entrance of the west tunnel, where a colossal cloud of smoke erupted from the entrance, reaching up as a pillar into the night sky. The music began to build up the tension of the moment.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" The charismatic, booming voice of All Might sounded off. From within the smoke emerged a towering figure, clad in his iconic red, white, and blue hero suit. "Fear not, Miss Midnight. I AM HERE!"

The cheers from the crowd reached a deafening roar as All Might ran forward and leaped into the air, clearing the fifty yards that separated the tunnel entrance and the stage in a single, mighty bound. He rose from his crouched landing position and raised his left fist into the air.

"Ladies and gentlemen," Midnight continued with a squeal, "presenting the man who needs no introduction, the Symbol of Peace and Justice, the one and only All Might!"

The applause and cheers for All Might were thunderous, and the atmosphere in the stadium was electric as he held his pose, basking in the adoration of the crowd. Midnight approached him with a dark blue suitcase that housed the four medals. She opened the case and gave All Might a friendly wink, holding up the case to the towering man.

"Boy, do I love this part," All Might said with a laugh.

"Never gets old, does it?" Midnight nodded with a wink.

With grace and a warm smile, All Might reached into the small suitcase and pulled out the bronze, third-place medal. He stepped over to the third-place podium where Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo stood side by side. Katsuki groaned, tired out from his raging and looked away, huffing breathlessly.

Izuku stood with his hands balled into excited fists, a huge fanboyish grin splashed across his freckled face. His green eyes were wide and teary as his mentor and idol stepped up to him.

All Might gave off a fatherly chuckle and placed the medal around Izuku's neck.

"Young Midoriya, you've shown incredible determination and growth throughout this competition. Look how far you've come… You've proven to the world and to yourself that you're a true hero. Just promise me one thing – you'll never lose that smile, young man!"

Izuku couldn't help but cry happy tears as he nodded in gratitude, unable to find words to express his emotions adequately.

"Th-Thank you, All Might!" he sniffled. "I'll never forget this!"

The crowd, witnessing this touching moment, erupted into applause and cheers for the young hero.

All Might leaned in away from the microphone's reach and wrapped his huge arms around Izuku in a hug, and whispered so that only Izuku could hear. "You've grown so much with One for All. But this medal here, you've earned this. This is All for You. Congratulations, Young Midoriya."

Next, All Might approached Bakugo with the third-place medal in hand. The explosive blonde was too tired to even raise his head, which was slumped to the side, breathing in ragged breaths.

"Now, young Bakugo, sometimes a setback is just a stepping stone to greater success. Accepting this medal is a clear sign to your growth and-"

"All… Might…" Bakugo growled with a monstrous distortion to his voice, veins protruding from his neck and forehead, his eyes whitening out with newfound rage. "You can take that hunk of garbage and shove it!"

Bakugo exploded into an even louder fit of rage. His screams echoed through the stadium with intensity, and both All Might and Midnight had to shield their ears momentarily. Bakugo's wheelchair rattled, and the stuffed red dragon on his armrest seemed ready to flee.

"…a...accepting this medal, even if you see it as a scar," All Might cleared his throat awkwardly and continued, "is a sign of your resilience and strength. It's important to learn from every experience, even when it doesn't go as planned."

"NO! Get the hell away from me with that piece of garbage!" Bakugo's crimson eyes burned with defiance. As All Might attempted to place the medal over Bakugo's head, Bakugo chomped at it with his teeth, clenching onto it like a bulldog with a bone. The medal hung there, suspended in Bakugo's mouth, as he continued to snarl and growl like an unruly beast.

"Well, that's one way to shut him up, I guess," Mina giggled.

"This is totally embarrassing!" Videl groaned, burying her head in her arms.

"Well, Young Bakugo, you've certainly made this memorable," All Might laughed nervously. He patted Bakugo on the shoulder with a fatherly smile, as if he was rewarding a mischievous puppy. "Never lose that fiery spirit!"

All Might moved to the second-place winner, Shoto Todoroki, a look of pride on his face. He took a gleaming silver medal from the case and carefully draped it over Shoto's head, the weight of the medal symbolizing the trials he had overcome.

"Young Todoroki," All Might began, his voice carrying warmth and pride, "you have shown us all tremendous growth in this tournament. Your mastery over your fire quirk is nothing short of remarkable. You've taken that first step toward making it truly your own, embracing a power that was once a source of pain. I have no doubt you'll find your way."

Shoto nodded, his gaze locked on the silver medal hanging around his neck.

"Thank you, sir. If I'm being honest, though, I still have a lot to sort out," he admitted. He looked up at All Might with an innocent stare. "There are many things I'm still conflicted about; wounds that haven't healed yet."

All Might smiled and brought Shoto into a tight hug.

"Deep down beneath the layers of ice and snow, you have a warm, kind heart, and I've seen you use your abilities to help others. That's what truly matters. As for the wounds of the past, they can be healed with time and support. But if there's one thing this old man can teach you, my boy, is this: You have a power that is uniquely yours. I'm not talking about your Quirk; I'm talking about the power to shape your own destiny. Nobody else; not even your father, can take that power away from you."

"I will do my best to remember that, sir," Shoto's expression softened, and he offered a small but genuine smile, then glanced down at his silver medal to meditate on his teacher's words.

Finally, All Might and Midnight made their way up the stairs towards the First place podium, where Gohan was eagerly awaiting them with a big smile on his face.

All Might reached into the box and pulled out the final, golden first place medal and draped it over Gohan's shoulders.

"You know, Gohan," All Might said, his tone full of nostalgia, "I remember when I was your age and won my first-place medal in the Sports Festival. Gine was so proud and little Goku had the biggest grin on his face. It was a moment of pure joy that I'll never forget. Having your mother and your little brother here now, watching you… I bet there's no greater joy than that in the world, am I right?"

Gohan's eyes sparkled with joy.

"You're absolutely right, Uncle Might," he replied, his eyes momentarily drifting to where his family was standing. "Winning this medal is an incredible feeling, but having you all here to share this moment with… it means more to me than anything else."

Gohan glanced down at the medal and gave off a sigh.

"Ah, I just wish Dad was here to see me now…"

All Might's smile widened, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"Gohan… there's something you should know. Your father…" His voice broke away.

Gohan sensed the pause and glanced up at All Might with innocent concern.

"Your father… would be incredibly proud of you right now," All Might finally said. "Proud to know that his son grew up to be an incredible young man, just like he was. Goku had that same boundless spirit, that drive to protect those he cared about. And just like you, he always found a way to come through, no matter the odds."

Gohan felt a lump in his throat, a mix of emotions swelling within him. All Might pulled him into a warm embrace.

"I'm so incredibly proud of you. Now the whole world knows the name, Son Gohan. So keep that fiery determination burning, and always remember the real reason you chose this path. No matter what, always press on forward. Never stop ascending, going beyond."

"I will," Gohan promised, feeling the weight of the medal on his neck and the weight of his promise on his shoulders.

Midnight approached Gohan on the podium, extending the microphone towards him.

"And now, before we conclude this incredible event, let us hear a few words from our First Year Sports Festival Champion, Son Gohan!" She said.

Caught off guard by the request, Gohan took the microphone, his hand trembling slightly as he raised it to his mouth. The entire stadium, once filled with cheers and applause, now fell into a hushed silence, all eyes and ears fixed on him.

As he gazed upon the sea of smiling faces, including those of his friends, family, and newfound allies, Gohan felt a profound wave of emotion wash over him. For a moment, words escaped him. He blinked back tears, his chest tightening with gratitude.

Taking a steadying breath, he closed his eyes briefly and then opened them. His voice, initially shaky, grew stronger with each passing word.

"I just wanted to say… Thank you, to everyone," Gohan began, his tone sincere and heartfelt. "This Sports Festival has been an incredible experience, one that I will cherish forever."

He glanced at his friends and family in the crowd, a genuine smile gracing his lips. "To my classmates, you've shown me the true meaning of teamwork and unity, and I know that we'll continue to grow as heroes together."

Gohan's gaze swept over the stadium, encompassing every teacher present. "To the teachers and pro heroes who have guided us, thank you for your wisdom and support. You've molded us into better individuals, and we're grateful for the lessons you've given to us."

"And finally, to my family, Mom, Goten… I love you. Thank you for believing in me," Gohan's eyes gleamed as he concluded. "I promise to carry the lessons I've learned here with me on my journey throughout the rest of my high school years, and for the rest of my life. And well… I guess…" he shrugged and gave off a charming smile at the cameras. "I guess I'll see you all here again next year!"

With those heartfelt words, Gohan lowered the microphone, and the stadium erupted into applause and cheers once more.

CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE: ZERO TO HERO

As the vibrant festivities of the Sports Festival wound down, Gohan made his way through the bustling crowd to where Chi-Chi and Goten were waiting. His heart swelled with happiness as he approached his mother and little brother.

"Mom, Goten!" Gohan exclaimed.

"Gohan, you were amazing out there!" Chi-Chi's eyes sparkled with pride as she embraced her son and kissed his cheek. "Oh, I just know that your father would be so proud of you. Both of you!"

"Gohan, you're the coolest! Shooting ki blasts, flying around and even turning into an awesome giant monkey monster! Agh! It was the best!" Goten shrieked with wide eyes, unable to contain his excitement. "Can you teach me those moves someday? I wanna turn into a giant monkey, too!"

"I don't think so, young man," Chi-Chi said with a laugh. "Not until you're a lot older and anyways, you already act like an oversized monkey!"

Gohan chuckled, ruffling Goten's hair affectionately.

"I promise, I'll teach you some cool moves when you're ready. And who knows, if you study hard and get good grades, you might even be able to get a recommendation into UA someday. I'll put in a good word for you, but you've got to do your part, too. Deal?"

Goten nodded enthusiastically, taking his mother's hand.

"Deal! Just watch, Mom! I'm gonna be a great hero just like Gohan!"

Gohan's heart swelled with pride.

"That's right," he said, "With hard work and determination, you can achieve anything you set your heart to, Goten."

Gohan then turned to his mother.

"Hey, Mom, there's an after-party for all the students and their families. There'll be music, dancing, food and games. Do you and Goten want to stick around for a bit?"

Chi-Chi glanced at the time on her wrist watch and sighed.

"Oh, Gohan, it's getting late, and Goten has school tomorrow. We can't stay this time, even though we would love to."

"Ah well… it's okay, I understand, Mom," Gohan said with a sideways smirk. "Thanks for being here anyway. It means the world to me."

"Aww! But I wanna spend more time with Ochaco and Mister Deku!" Goten's face fell. "I was looking everywhere for them and I couldn't find them!"

"Mister Deku?" Gohan asked, raising an amused eyebrow and crossing his arms. "You mean Midoriya?"

"His name is Mister Deku!" Goten corrected confidently. "He's a super strong hero that smiles just like All Might! He's the coolest!"

"Ah," Gohan chuckled at his little brother's innocence. "Well, it sounds like Mister Deku has a new fan. Maybe next time we can all hang out together. Hey, maybe next time, you guys can come over to our place in Namek City," Gohan offered with a smile. "There's a carnival there with a big giant rollercoaster that I just know you'll love! We can even invite Ochaco and Mister Deku… not to mention Valese…"

Goten's eyes brightened with excitement.
"Really, Gohan? That sounds awesome!"

"Really," Gohan confirmed with a warm smile. "In the meantime…"

Gohan knelt down and retrieved the gleaming First Place medal he had won. He gently draped it over Goten's neck with a grin. It clanged against the silver Second Place medal that Goten had won from the Junior League.

"Here, little bro, you can take this home and show it off to your friends. Tell them your big brother's a champion." Gohan said with a wink.

Goten's eyes lit up as he cradled the medal in his tiny fingers.

"Wow, thanks, Gohan! I'm gonna brag about this to everyone!"

Gohan chuckled and shared one last heartfelt hug with Chi-Chi.

"I promise I'll be home soon, Mom. And then we'll celebrate properly."

Gohan walked his family to the waiting car that would take them home. But before they departed, Chi-Chi turned towards him with a concerned frown.

"Gohan…" she began and looked down for a moment, gathering her thoughts. Gohan noticed her hesitant expression.

"Yeah, mom?"

Chi-Chi glanced back up at him with pleading eyes.

"Gohan, please come back home with us," she pleaded, her voice filled with maternal worry. "West City is so much safer than Namek City. They don't call it the City of Tomorrow for nothing, after all. And we'll be together there… so… so… please…"

Gohan smiled warmly at his mother.
"I appreciate it, Mom, but I can't right now. I have a home in Namek City. The Dragon Clan has welcomed me as one of their own, and I can't just leave them. I've made friends and found a purpose, and it just… it just feels right."

Chi-Chi sighed, her worry etched on her face.

"I know. I ran into Piccolo earlier, and he told me about the Rehoming Project you're working for and all that. And yes, I know he wants what's best for you… But Gohan, that city can be so, so very dangerous. I've heard stories of the villains there, and it scares me to think of you living in such a place."

"But that's why I have to stay; there are a lot of good people in Namek, Mom. They need a hero, too."

"But Gohan, you're just a boy," Chi-Chi began to protest, "how can you possibly-"

"I know it might sound risky, but Mom, I'm not alone." Gohan placed a reassuring hand on his mother's shoulder. "I have friends and allies who watch my back. I've learned a lot about being a hero from them. I just want to make a difference there, in my own way. Besides, you saw me fight in the tournament, right? I can take care of myself."

Gohan tilted his head, passing his hand over his mother's face lovingly.

"I can do it, Mom. I can make a difference. I have to try. It's what Dad and Grandpa Gohan would've wanted, don't you think?"

Chi-Chi's jaw clenched and she gulped back tears, her motherly concern blending with pride.
"Ohhh, you are just like your father. Come here, you!" She reached out, pulling her son into a tight, fierce hug. Gohan returned the embrace, holding his mother close.

"I've missed you so much," Chi-Chi admitted, her voice choked with emotion.

Gohan smiled warmly, even as a lump formed in his own throat.

"I've missed you too, Mom. I always have… Goten, be good to Mom and help her around the house as much as you can, okay? You're the man of the house now, so it's your job to take care of her."

"Mhm," Goten nodded. He joined the hug as well, wrapping his short arms around both Gohan and Chi-Chi. Gohan closed his eyes, savoring the warmth of their embrace, etching this memory into his heart; this bittersweet farewell, filled with love and hope for the future.

"I promise, I'll visit as often as I can," Gohan whispered to them, holding his family close. "You won't even have a chance to miss me!"

Chi-Chi and Goten laughed through their tears.

With a final round of hugs, the Son family slowly separated.

"You take care of yourself, my sweet boy… my hero." Chi-Chi told Gohan, wiping her eyes with a trembling smile.

"I will, Mom," Gohan nodded. "This is only for now. One day, I'll be able to take care of both of you, too."

Gohan held the door open for his mother and Goten, making sure they were settled in comfortably. Goten waved enthusiastically from the back. Gohan chuckled at Goten's innocent antics and waved back with a smirk.

As the car pulled away, Gohan stood in the quiet night, the gentle rustling of leaves in the wind the only sound breaking the silence. He watched the car carrying his mother and brother disappear into the distance until its tail lights were nothing but distant pinpricks in the night, until these, too, disappeared from sight.

Time seemed to stretch out endlessly, and Gohan couldn't shake the persistent knot of loneliness that had been building in his chest. Piccolo's words echoed in his mind; he had warned Gohan from the very beginning that the path of a hero would often be a solitary one, even in this superhuman society. It was what ten months of training on a lonely mountain had prepared Gohan for; the endless nights protecting Namek alone.

This was the burden of the destiny he had chosen.

But still…

As the minutes passed, Gohan found himself gazing longingly at the empty quiet street, yearning for the warmth of home and the reassuring embrace of his mother. With a heavy sigh, Gohan turned away from the empty road and made his way back to class.

The colorful lights of the stadium faded behind, replaced by the soft, ambient glow of the classroom's fluorescent lights. The students, still buzzing with excitement and pride, found themselves back in their familiar seats.

Despite the late hour, the adrenaline from the Sports Festival had left them wide awake. Their gazes were fixed on the front of the classroom, where they eagerly anticipated the return of their fellow classmates and homeroom teacher.

"I still can't believe how powerful Gohan's gotten," Kirishima exclaimed, his eyes wide with admiration. "I mean, I knew he was strong when he kicked my ass, but that fight against Todoroki was insane!"

"Totally!" Mina chimed in. "And that fight against Bakugo? He tore him a new one!"

"I mean, that giant ape thing? And that… that… that MOON that came out of his hands?!" Kaminari added, nodding in agreement. "Gohan's power is out of this world! I really hope the League of Villains was watching. As soon as Gohan graduates and gets licensed, they're gonna be toast!"

"They're probably wetting themselves at the thought of it!" Sato added, with a proud smile, "Tokoyami told me about how Gohan took on the League all by himself at the USJ's Squall Zone. Now I understand how. I've never seen anything like it. We might actually be looking at the next All Might, here!"

A collective murmur of agreement rippled through the class.

Gohan arrived to find the classroom seating arrangement changed, slightly. He made his way through the classroom, scanning the changes, and his eyes landed on two special desks at the front of the room. Ochaco was sitting there, and he couldn't help but approach her with curiosity.

"Hey, Ochaco," he said with a friendly smile, "what's with the new desk?"

Ochaco grinned up at him, her light brown eyes sparkling with a hint of mischievousness.

"Oh, this? It's my new VIP seat," she explained with a giggle. "Easier to get in and out with my wheelchair. And, I get to have a prime view of the whole class." She gestured to the room, her expression cheerful. "Even if it means sitting next to Mister Aizawa..." Her voice trailed off, and she leaned in to add with a sly grin, "...and Bakugo, who's also enjoying the wheelchair experience."

"VIP seat, huh? That's pretty cool." Gohan said. "Though sitting next to Mister Aizawa... that's a brave choice."

Ochaco laughed. "Oh, I don't mind it at all. He's a great teacher, and I'll make sure to stay on my best behavior. Plus, now I get to bother Bakugo, so it's a win-win."

She glanced at him with a slightly sad smile.
"The only downside is that I'm not sitting next to you anymore."

"Yeah… but it's only temporary, right?" Gohan said with an upbeat tone.

"At least until I get out of this wheelchair, yeah," Ochaco nodded.

"We'll make it a priority then," Gohan said. "We'll train until you get strong enough to get out of that wheelchair!"

Ochaco's eyes brightened with appreciation as she looked up at Gohan.
"That sounds like a plan, and I'll hold you to it, Gohan. We'll help each other improve, like we always have, and I'll hurry and be back on my feet in no time."

"Hey, look who's back!" Videl announced as she wheeled Bakugo in.

"Whoa, check it out!" Kirishima shouted. "It's Bronze Boy!"

"Shut it, you moron," Bakugo grumbled as Videl pushed him to his new seat next to Ochaco. Ochaco exchanged a worried glance between the angry blonde and her boyfriend, but Gohan's smile didn't waver. He simply stepped back and walked to his seat, avoiding Bakugo altogether. Bakugo grabbed ahold of his wheels and pushed himself over to his new seat next to Ochaco with an annoyed growl.

Ochaco leaned toward Bakugo with a comforting smile.

"Hey, don't let them get to you. You did great out there. Oh, and welcome to the neighborhood. I guess we're seat buddies for a little while now, huh?"

Bakugo simply responded by glaring at Ochaco with a long, silent scowl.

Undeterred by Bakugo's silence, Ochaco persisted with her cheerful attitude.
"You know, it's not so bad. We'll have our very own little corner here. And who knows, maybe we'll even enjoy each other's company."

Bakugo's fierce expression softened slightly and he looked away.

"Yeah, whatever," he grumbled. "Just shut up and stay on your side."

The students settled into their seats, and their eager conversations quieted down as Mister Aizawa walked in.

"Mister Aizawa," Kaminari whined, "why do we have to stay in class while everyone else is having fun at the Sports Festival after party? It's not fair!"

"So what?" Aizawa shrugged. "Who told you class was over just because the Sports Festival ended?"

"Aw c'mon, Mister Aizawa," Kirishima added, "our parents are waiting for us at the party. They were so excited to see us compete."

Jiro nodded in agreement. "Yeah, my folks are playing the music tonight. I was going to jam on stage with my dad."

"A chance to chill and party with our upperclassmen?" Mina pouted and added, "I've been looking forward to that for ages!"

"Alright, settle down. I'll make it quick," Aizawa finally said, his voice cutting through their disappointment. "Great job on your performance out there today. You all did your best, and some of you even went the distance. It's been a while since the top four all came from Class 1A. So good effort. For that reason—based on your performance and hard work, we've decided that you'll all be taking the rest of the week off. And yes, everyone can head to the after party from here."

A chorus of cheers erupted, drowning out Aizawa's words for a moment.

"Everyone except for Gohan, that is," Aizawa added, his eyes flashing with a deepening smirk. He reached over and pressed a button on his desk, causing a section of the wall to slide open, revealing the hidden vault containing the classroom's hero costumes. Gohan, intrigued but puzzled, looked up at his teacher.

"Not Gohan? How come?" Ochaco asked, furrowing her eyebrows and stealing a glance at Gohan.

"Yeah, why not me?" Gohan asked, walking over to the vault and grabbing his costume suitcase. "Besides, after the Marketplace attack, my costume was shredded."

Aizawa's eyes glittered with mischief and he let out a rare chuckle.

"Because, Gohan, you've got an important mission. This mission involves one of the most essential duties of a Pro Hero. It's your chance to experience the responsibilities of this profession for the first time. And as for your costume, we just got it back after sending it to the Support Class for repairs and some minor upgrades. Now, hurry and suit up, Gohan."

Gohan opened and closed his fists inside the fabric of his new red gloves. The repaired hero suit, crafted with vibrant shades of green covered over the skintight body suit, which felt like a second skin to him. He adjusted the fit of his new red boots, making sure they were snug but comfortable. As he checked over the familiar green costume one last time, he could feel the weight and responsibility of the red cape settling on his shoulders.

Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes, breathing in and out the way Piccolo and Nail had taught him to, as he focused on the task at hand. A bead of sweat formed on his forehead, and a heatwave of nervousness coursed through him. What lay ahead was not an ordinary challenge, but he was ready to face it head-on.

"...and now, we would like to invite Son Gohan to answer a few questions," Principal Nezu finished saying.

Blinding flashes of light inundated him and Gohan opened his eyes, ready to complete his mission – The Sports Festival Press Conference. He stood up from his chair at a long table in the expansive press conference hall, flanked by Principal Nezu and Mister Aizawa. The trio faced a sea of reporters arranged in dozens of rows, their cameras clicking away as they snapped photos of Gohan in his Hero costume. The small, circular light on the side of the microphone directly in front of Gohan turned on.

The questions came in a rapid-fire succession, each reporter vying for their turn to get a response from the newly crowned champion.

"Gohan, how did it feel to win the Sports Festival's first place medal and trophy?" one reporter asked.

"It felt… good," Gohan squeaked nervously with a grin. Beside him, Mister Aizawa's eyes flashed with a disproving frown. Gohan took a moment to clear his throat and straightened his back. "I mean, it's an incredible honor. The competition was fierce, and it's humbling to come out on top," he replied with a modest smile.

"Can you share your thoughts on the tough competition from other contestants, like Todoroki and Bakugo?" another reporter jumped in.

Gohan's expression turned thoughtful.

"Sure… I mean, certainly. Both Todoroki and Bakugo are incredibly talented and dedicated classmates. Facing them wasn't easy, and I have gained even deeper respect for their skills. I feel like I am a better Class Representative and student because of it."

"What was going through your mind during your final battle with Todoroki?"

Gohan's gaze flickered with intensity as he recalled the match.

"Um… well, I was focused on giving it my all, on pushing my limits and finding the strength to keep going. There were more than a few times where he took the upper hand; in fact, he almost even beat me. In the end, my mentors' lessons are what gave me the strength to succeed."

"Gohan, you're an incredible young man and a budding hero. Have you thought of a Hero Name yet?

Gohan smiled sheepishly.

"Yes, I have… sort of… but I'm not ready to reveal it just yet. But when the time is right, I promise, you'll hear it from me."

One of the reporters stood up and Gohan instantly recognized her.

Miss Kuri Shimamura, the fierce pony-tailed reporter who had been chasing after the Dragon of Namek since the beginning of Gohan's journey.

She grabbed the mic with a knowing sparkle in her eye that made Gohan groan internally.

"Hi Gohan," she began. "Great job out there at the Sports Festival. You're from Namek City, right? I wanted to take the opportunity and ask you your opinion on the mysterious Dragon of Namek character that's flying around Namek City lately. Some say he's acting outside the law, no different than a villain. What are your thoughts?"

Gohan gulped against his dry throat and he squeezed his hands be his side.

"Yes… The Dragon of Namek... Well, I can't speak for his methods or intentions, but as someone who lives in Namek City myself, I believe that we should be proud of anyone who stands up for justice and the safety of the people. There aren't any Hero Agencies in Namek City. That means we have to help one another more than anything. It's important that we address the issues of crime and rising natural disasters, and if the Dragon is making a difference in that regard, I think that's pretty cool."

Shimamura nodded, seemingly satisfied with his response. However, another reporter quickly stood up. His orange receding hair framed his tired blue eyes. "Hello, Gohan. Max Power here from the Number One alternative radio show Red, White and Truth. The Dragon of Namek is an unsanctioned hero who operates outside of the law. The Police Force has gone on record to show that his actions have lead to bystanders getting hurt, not to mention that his little heroics have caused thousands, if not millions in property damages. Do you think it's justified?"

Gohan paused, choosing his words carefully once more.

"Well," Gohan began, his voice steady but thoughtful. "I understand the concerns about collateral damage, and it's important to consider the safety of civilians and their property. But I also think it's important to understand the context here. Namek City faces threats that go beyond ordinary crime, and sometimes, unconventional situations require unconventional solutions. I'm not saying that we should ignore the risks, but maybe it's time to have a larger conversation about how heroes can operate in places that don't have the support systems seen in other cities, like West City's CityShield Compensation Bureau. Maybe there's a middle ground where the Dragon of Namek can contribute positively without causing undue harm."

The room fell silent for a moment, absorbing Gohan's perspective. Max Power seized the opportunity to press Gohan, a more probing edge in his voice. "Yes, well, some argue that the Dragon of Namek's actions blur the line between hero and vigilante, and that this could set a dangerous precedent for future heroes. After all...youyourself and a handful of your classmates have already taken it upon yourselves to fight villains while unlicensed at the Marketplace without so much as a slap on the wrist. Do you think these vigilante actions should be tolerated or condemned?"

"Um, well," Gohan gulped, feeling a bead of sweat roll down his sideburn. His heart pounded against his chest and he felt his tongue tie up in his mouth. "I…"

The rhythmic clicks and flashes of cameras intensified at Gohan's stunned reaction, adding to Gohan's mounting anxiety.

"It's a simple question," Max pressed with a smug smile on his lips. "Do you, Son Gohan, Class Representative of Hero Course Class 1A denounce vigilantism or don't you?"

"It…" Gohan cleared his throat, feeling the pressure mounting, but he steadied himself. "It's a complex issue. Ideally, heroes should operate within the legal framework, but as I mentioned earlier, not all cities have the infrastructure to support that. There are no Hero Agencies in Namek City, Mister Power. If a villain attacks, nobody is coming to save you, except for the Dragon, I mean. I don't know… I don't know what the solution is, but maybe what we need is a nuanced approach, maybe some form of collaboration between unofficial heroes and the authorities, to ensure both justice and safety." He turned to glance at his teachers for support.

Principal Nezu leaned forward and activated his microphone, placing his elbows on the press table with a friendly but stern smile, his voice carrying authority as he addressed the reporters.

"Ladies and gentlemen of the press, let's please remember that we're here today to celebrate the achievements of our talented students in the Sports Festival. While your questions are important, it would be appropriate to focus on this particular event. If you have further inquiries on other subjects, I'm sure we can arrange a separate interview at a more suitable time."

Mister Aizawa stood up to his full height, his slicked black hair shining under the lights.

"As much as I enjoy hearing one of my students' opinions on the finer aspects of hero law, I do agree with Principal Nezu. Let's get back on track, shall we?"

The reporters, while slightly disappointed, respected the authority of the school staff, and the questioning reverted to the Sports Festival, leaving Gohan a moment to recover his composure.

After a few more rounds of questions, it was finally over.

As the final questions wrapped up, Gohan let out a deep, relieved sigh. The press conference had been an exhausting experience, but he'd handled it as best as he could. The barrage of inquiries had left him mentally drained, and the intensity of the moment had even left him physically fatigued. He couldn't help but rub his temples, trying to ease the tension headache that had developed during the ordeal.

Back in the safety of the teacher's lounge, Mister Aizawa approached Gohan, his usual uninterested expression tinged with a hint of pride. "You did well out there, Gohan; better than I expected, honestly. Facing the press can be challenging, but it's an essential part of a hero's life. You'll get used to it. A lesser student would've gone on and on, bragging about how great his performance was and how much he deserved the win. You handled yourself well."

"This… this wasn't another test, was it?" Gohan asked, almost afraid to know the answer.
"Here at UA High, just like in life, everything is a test. Coffee?" Aizawa asked, handing Gohan a paper coffee cup.

"Thank you, Mister Aizawa," Gohan said graciously accepting the drink and taking a long sip, enjoying the warmth, the aroma relaxing his frayed nerves. "I don't know how you guys can deal with them on a daily basis. I think I almost prefer fighting villains than facing the press."

"Ha-ha! You and me both, kid," Aizawa said dryly and sipped his coffee. After a moment, he gave Gohan a thoughtful look. "But a hero's job doesn't end at saving people or fighting villains; when the cameras start rolling, we're still working, representing hope, strength, justice... You can reach the hearts and minds of a lot more people through the media than you ever can by yourself."

"The pen is mightier than the sword," Gohan mused, taking another sip of the coffee.

"Indeed," Aizawa grinned. "And sometimes, the pen and the sword need to work in harmony. So as unpleasant as it can be sometimes, it's essential. Believe it or not, there are heroes who love the press."

"Like Mr Satan, Present Mic and All Might?" Gohan asked and to his surprise, Aizawa let out a hearty laugh, the first time Gohan had ever seen him break from his stony expression.

"Pah! Exactly," Aizawa said, shaking his head and bringing the cup up for another drink. "Media darlings, those three…"

Gohan stared down at his cup for a moment.

"Mister Aizawa, what if they ask questions that I don't have answers to, or if they try to paint me into a corner? Like that radios guy Max Power? What should I do then?"

"The press, like villains, will test you. That's their job," Aizawa scoffed. "Some heroes will dance to whatever tune the media will play for them. Buncha sellouts... But the key is to stay true to your values and principles, no matter where the dice may fall. That's true in all things, not just press conferences. Let me give you a piece of advice, Son. Your words, your image, they matter. People are going to look up to you, not just as a hero but as a symbol. An idea. Use that image responsibly. The press can be tricky; they'll try to catch you off guard, stir up false controversies because that's how they make their money, but the truth is that you have the power to steer the narrative. Don't forget that."

Gohan mulled over Aizawa's words. "I'll keep that in mind, Mister Aizawa. It's just... overwhelming. Being in the spotlight like this."

Aizawa's lips quirked in a half-smile. "It comes with the territory, kid. You're not just a faceless student anymore; you're the new household name who just won the Sports Fest! Zero to Hero. I'm hearing words like "The Next All Might" being thrown around. Naturally, people want to know who you are, what you stand for." Aizawa shrugged. "So embrace it, but do it on your terms. Don't let the fame or other people's opinions dictate who you become, understood?"

"Y-Yes, sir," Gohan nodded, appreciating the small but valuable lesson he had just received from his teacher. He gave Aizawa a quick bow. "Thank you, Mister Aizawa, for your wisdom and your support. I promise to continue working hard for you and for the entire class I represent."

"I know you will, Son," Aizawa nodded, a hint of pride in his eyes, and replied, "You're on the right track. Keep it up. For now, I'd say Mission Accomplished! Now finish that coffee; you're gonna need it. Get out there and enjoy the after party. Oh, and change back to your school uniform. The last thing we need is for someone to confuse you with that Dragon of Namek guy."

"Yes, sir!" Gohan said with a small, nervous chuckle.

In a secluded corner of the Courtyard Gamma, away from the lively ambiance of Gym Gamma, where the after party was being held, a clandestine meeting was taking place among a group of UA students. The leader, a girl with sharp, short purple hair, scanned her fellow students with an air of confidence.

"All right, listen up, everyone," she said in a hushed yet authoritative tone. "Tonight's the night we've been waiting for. The after party is our window of opportunity. Stick to the plan, and we're all going to be a lot richer by the end of the night. Is everyone clear on their roles?"

The nods from the group were unanimous, each member signaling their readiness for the impending operation.

"We've worked hard to set this up, and it's all coming together tonight. Son Gohan won't even know what hit him," she continued, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Make sure your timing is perfect. And, most importantly, don't attract any unnecessary attention until everything is ready. The element of surprise is key."

The atmosphere in the group was tense yet charged with anticipation. The girl checked her watch and emphasized, "Remember, we only have one shot at this. If anyone thinks they can't handle it, now's the time to bail. No hard feelings."

But nobody moved. The group was committed.

With a final round of affirmations from the group, they dispersed into the lively crowd, blending in seamlessly. As the after-party continued, the students prepared to set their plan in motion, confident in their ability to execute the perfect plan under the cover of celebration.

New Ending Song:
"Set it on Fire" by Divide

A/N: We've reached the end of yet another chapter. I'm sorry it took forever to update this story. I was sick for a few weeks and went on vacation as well. This chapter was supposed to be twice longer, but as is always the case when I post a preview, I end up having to split it into two chapters to keep them from being one giant 50k word document. I'll upload this chapter and continue working on the after party chapter, where we'll see some funny interactions that I mentioned in the preview from the last chapter, and some things that will set up the rest of this Internships Saga as well as the Cell Saga finale. I am going to get some rest and then continue working on the next chapter, and I'll try to have it up as soon as I can.

Okay, that's all I have for this A/N. Onto the Review Responses!

Guest chapter 8 . Aug 17

I cannot put this fic down! Wth! Great job guy. Goku's funeral made me tear up

Thank you, Guest! I'm so glad you liked it and yesss that was absolutely an emotional chapter, especially because it's the chapter in which Uncle Might discovers that Chi-Chi was pregnant with Goten and that now, both Goten and Gohan would be raised without a father. Very sad indeed. I hope you get to the end to see the twist, though! Thanks again for your review!

Guest chapter 1 . Sep 10

Nice

Thank you very much my friend! I'm glad you liked it!

KaijuEmperor chapter 50 . Sep 11

This is easily the best chapter of the Sports Festival Arc great work and our boi Gohan is now the champion!

Holy shit i didn't expect Shoto to unlock False Super Saiyan or Gohan to use some kind of quasi Ikari Super Saiyan( or False Super Saiyan 4) but it's not unwelcomed.

Honestly I can't help but hear a mix of "Day of Fate" or "Undefeatable" as the main theme songs for the match and Hercules's "Zero to Hero" as the after song.

Venit aevus ille
O Messiah, O Messiah
hhhhh. Love that song! TFS baby!

Ohh yeah! At that moment, Shoto completely let go of his mother's Quirk and transformed into something beyond! I have something in mind to continue the evolution of his powers, and we'll explore that more in the internships. With Gohan, yeah it's true a lot of the powers he's showing now are more advanced techniques in canon, for example, Dragonfist and Super Saiyan. Ultimately, I wanted to keep the spirit of MHA alive, so a lot of the powers that Gohan has are stages of Quirks. But I do have a lot more stuff in store for him as his powers grow – techniques that go even further beyond. ;)

Thanks for your reviews as always and I'm so happy you enjoyed the finale!

ZucchiSama chapter 50 . Sep 11

he didn't become a golden great ape even after transforming as a Super Saiyan? with the way you did that he should technically be a Super Saiyan 4 now, but I guess he untransformed before before becoming a great ape and you just didn't say it?

Yeah, that's true, in canon he would be SS4 by now. The way it works at this point in this AU, is that they're two separate Quirks (Great Ape, which he inherited from Bardock and Super Saiyan, which he inherited from one of his ancestors whom I've not introduced to the story yet). So he was switching from his Ssj Quirk to his Ape Quirk. I did try to introduce the idea of Quirk fusing in the last season, where Gohan tried to mix Great Ape with Kaioken, but it was unsuccessful. He still has a little ways to go before he can do that. And like I mentioned to KaijuEmperor above, I know some of the powers were rearranged to fit the "Quirks" that Gohan has, but there will be a lot more in store in the future, both with Quirk fusions and evolutions as well…

Thank you so much for your review and questions, ZucchiSama!

Elchico 64 chapter 50 . Sep 11

Heyyy homie!

ArguableReader chapter 50 . Sep 12

Considering how Dragon ball over-exaggerates, on just about everything,
I'm now wondering how much the All-For-One versus All-Might battle will go, ya'know?

(That's gonna be wild in both way's I'm sure, good AND bad)

Gohan losing the clothes, is the one unfortunate bit,
of the Great Ape form, WITHOUT the Frieza-Force armor of the time...

Pretty sure every ladies gonna get an eye-full until otherwise...giggity-giggity..

(So sorry, couldn't help myself at the end there.)

That's true about the exaggerating everything, though I think that's anime in general. Everything is over the top, but that's what makes it fun. Oh yeahhh, All Might v All for One Round Two is coming up a lot sooner than you might expect so stay tuned for that!

And yeah, Gohan's gonna have to make some extensive changes to his suit, lest he finds himself in a sticky situation like this around the ladies! XD

Thanks for your review, Arg! As always :)

JustinCase chapter 50 . Sep 13

My heads still spinning from this fight. Holy crap, that was definitely the greatest fight of the Sports Fest!

Shoto really lived up to his name of the Bone Crusher XD Poot Gohan but then he whopped his ass in kind. What a legend. This is a Sports Fest I'll never forget. And now what's coming next for our Gohan?

Only time will tell :)

Bone Crusher? I think you mean the Hand Crusher, right? But you're right, he messed Gohan up for a minute there. Of course, Gohan managed to pull through and clench the win and the title, not to mention Todoroki's respect.

As for what's to come? Oh a couple of world ending threats, nothing much hahaha Thanks for your review, Justin!

Brandon Dupere chapter 50 . Sep 22

DragonStallion55 chapter 50 . Oct 14

Broke

YESSSS! You're my 400th Reviewer! Thanks so much Stallion! Thank you so much for helping me break into this awesome achievement. I really appreciate it and hope you're enjoying the story so far.

Luna Bellanova chapter 14 . Oct 16

¡Eclipse!:* I'm sooo sorry it took forever took me to read your story! But now I had a little time to get back on track.

This chapter ahh Loved it. The new ship between Kirishima and Videl gives me serious Yamcha Bulma DB vibes. All this time I thought she would end up with Bakugo though! XD Still a good ship. It was cute how they tried to protect one another. And the appearance of the Junior Cells makes me genuinely excited for the future chapters. And of course the lore and world building is appreciated. Gohan and the gang kicking ass through actual strategy was a nice touch as well.

Those were my thoughts for this chapter. Oh and for the next chapter of the Windy City Chronicles? I started working on it again after finding a spark of imagination. I can't wait for you and Chico to see it! For now though It's on to the next chapter.

No worries! Glad you're enjoying it so far. And yeah, that's what I was going for with that ship, and believe me, when I first introduced Videl, everyone thought she would end up with Bakugo… including myself! But I ended up liking the dynamic between Red and Videl, so that's why I kept it that way. And Yeah! It's been a while since we've had an update for Windy City Chronicles. Waiting eagerly for it!:D

Luna Bellanova chapter 15 . Oct 16

This chapter right here? Omg, how do I describe it? Chaotic, romantic, hilarious, hectic, heartfelt. Just perfect. It's safe to say then, that Gohan has officially won Ochaco's heart?. It kind of reminds me of how Goku married Chi-Chi, after winning the martial arts tournament. The splash of Gohan speaking in Namekian with his tribe really brought home just how much a part of Namekian culture he really is. And I really dig that his Namekian name is Porunga. Literally "The Dragon," his vigilante name. It's so perfect!

And shall we go ahead and say that Deku is now a part of the Dragon Clan too? It was so cute how Nail helped him discover his weakness and overcome it to achieve Full Cowling. It will be an amazing experience that they'll never forget. Also, Drum was a nice throwback, though the image of big fat ugly Drum trying to woo tiny Ochaco made me throw up a little in my mouth. LOL!

the moment where Ochaco learns what Boner means, (thanks for ruining her innocence Bakugo, you jackass!) followed by the teasing by the girls gave me some really good laughs. Oh, poor Ochaco. I love how innocent and sweet she is. Never change, my sweet little girl.

Regarding your note about the fight scenes, hey, you do just fine. And about the flamers, who gives a shit. Keep writing, that's the best form of revenge.

Those are my thoughts for this chapter. I think I might have time for one more chapter. 15 chapters down 35 more to go X'D I love this mountain village mini arc. Now it's time for the "love birds" to… kissssss!LOL!

PS mooooore Dende x Asui pleaseeeee!

You're good haha just take your time and enjoy it. I know the chapters are incredibly long, and I'm working on making them shorter. Anyways, I'm glad you liked that whole chapter! I had a lot of fun writing it and showing us a side of Gohan's life that hadn't been seen. In hindsight, I should have shown it a lot sooner, and that's something I might keep in mind for the rewrite, whenever it happens. But I love this sweet simple moments of making memories together.

Glad you liked Dende x Asui. Green Team for sure, though it's the most subtle of all the ships. Thanks for your reviews and sorry again that it took so long to update this story.

Okayyyy I guess it's time to feed the troll LMAO. I normally ignore Flame reviewers, but this guy's pretty persistent, so what the hell...

Guest or Star or Larry, whatever name you're trying to go by: I cannot believe how ass-hurt you got after I responded to you after your review in Chapter 47, that you decided to try to(unsuccessfully) flame the previous chapters which you hadn't even read. But you're still making the same mistake as before. In your haste to find something to flame, you're scanning over the content and missing out important details and making, frankly, stupid observations.

So I'm gonna respond to some gems and give you the BTFO you sorely need. You'll understand the lack of courteousness in my tone. I'm simply giving you back what you gave me, pumpkin.

"so many nemekians(whatever that means in this story) are homeless and starving and Piccolo spent a fortune to make a needlessly huge HQ for Gohan... wtf? " – Wrong. Piccolo built the Lookout to house the NNHP as well as the Dragon Clan. The Lookout will be Gohan's Hero Base in the future, after he graduates. All of this was established clearly in Chapter Three, which you obviously skipped.

"Whatever Nemekians are," Oh dear, we're in trouble now, aren't we? Namekians are… people from … Namek? I mean… common sense, no? I hope to Godyour next question isn't 'What are Floridians/Californians/New Yorkers?' but coming from you, I wouldn't be surprised. XD

you say Gohan has quirk but somehow Nail and Vegeta too have same quirk...Oh really? So Nail has a monkey tail like Vegeta? Vegeta can tap into Kaioken like Gohan? Gohan can extend and regenerate lost limbs like Nail? Goofy review XD

"sometimes Gohan is using his quirk, sometimes it is his ki, sometimes it's energy from somewhere…" That's all the same thing. You did read Chapter Ten, which covers the current extent of Gohan's powers, right? What am I saying, of course you didn't.

u keep focusing on the overused characters and are not using your imagination at all... all the other classmates hardly get a one liner or 2 but for overused characters like Deku and Bakugou we have entire sections dedicated for the same overdone nonsense... don't forget...you are not the only fanfiction writer here... so all your readers are gonna be well read when it comes to fanfics... Yeah, clearly. 'What are NEMEKIANS' asked the "well-read" fanfic reader who gets mad that the fucking MAIN CHARACTERS of MHA get more screentime than say Sato, Hagakure or Koda LMAOOO!

why is there a need to train and cultivate children to fight for the good of society if these junior Androids exist? Agaaaain you didn't read the chapter. In YOUR haste to find something to bitch about, you skipped over the part that mentions they're only strong enough to take down B Class villains. I'd explain what that means, but it'd be a waste of my time. Heroes like Endeavor and All Might, Gang Orca and many others would obviously be more efficient at bringing down powerful A Class villains than a bunch of Security robots. Hey, you know how dogs are way faster and have far more heightened abilities than man? We should just get rid of cops and just let K9's do all the work. Goofy ass review.

why is this Melissa so brainless despite being a genius? she things Gohan is a vigilante...yet willingly corners him in a deserted place while telling him she knows his secret identity... She doesn't think – she knows that Gohan is a vigilante, knows all the good he's doing for Namek, and knows that he's a gentle, caring friend. She just spent a weekend with Gohan's clan, watching how close Gohan was to everyone, how warm and affectionate and caring he was towards everyone, especially the little children and to the environment. Why would she be afraid of him? But you probably skipped that chapter because 'FUUUUcK all that romance and wholesome shit!1!' right?

So both of the Brief sisters are bitches in this story? Fitting. Nope, both Brief sisters are human, who made a lot of mistakes, just like ordinary humans make. I know – Three-dimensional characters with flaws and mistakes, broken dreams and failed expectations rather than being one dimensional THOTS that only exist for pervy comedy moments, right? Mindblowing.

The weapon was made of paper mache…" Yep, that's why it gave off a loud, metallic clang when Iida knocked on it, right? Because paper obviously sounds like hollow metal. LMAO

hell just thinking how a kid who has only trained for less than a year, could beat a martial artist who has been mastering the crane style and ki use for 15 years is why I disliked dragon ball and it's nonsense fights. HAHAHAHAHAHA! And there we have it, folks. A 'well-read' reader who hates the source material, then comes to bitch on a fanfiction story based on said source material. What a clown. Oh by the way, Gohan hasn't been training for 'a year.' He was kidnapped by Piccolo and forged into a weapon at an early age, and then trained again in his adolescence. His memories were erased, but his power is still there, not to mention the experience he gained as the Dragon of Namek and the Zenkai Boosts.

Your suggestion for them to use Kung Fu is hilarious. Why Kung Fu? It's such an oddly specific style. Neither of them have studied that form. But to someone who's just talking out their ass like you, yeahhh why not Kung Fu? Shit, let's throw in some Jiu Jitsu, some Karate and Tae Kwon Do. I mean, why the hell not? XD

All this stemming from a simple suggestion I made to you – read the damn story if you're going to flame it. At least you won't look like a fool. OR, carry on and continue to inflate the fic's impressions and reviews, only to get spanked in the Review Responses.

Either way, I win.

Star… you've just been (puts on sunglasses) Eclipsed. YEAHHHHH!

Saved the best for last, for sure! XD That's it for Review Responses.

GEEEEzuuuuuus XD Until next chapter, friends!
