Blood for the Blood God

Chapter 32: [Training Camp? More like Training Hell II]

[XXX]

Kendo huffed tiredly, her entire body aching like one giant bruise. She was used to heavy spars, but Tiger did bring the intensity of his work to levels that Vlad had preferred to abstain from. She had her martial arts background, but even then she – along with about half her classmates from 1-B – were getting their world rocked, and not in a good way. And it was only the second day (technically third for 1-A, but potato potato).

If you were lucky, the muscular powerhouse of the Pussycats would just punch or kick you aside and focus on another one. However, if you were caught lacking (lazing around), the man would focus his efforts into beating the laziness out of anyone; it would be inspiring, if it wasn't so painful to be the focus of his cat-gloves. She would never be able to look at cats the same way again.

She, Tetsutetsu and Tokage were slotted in turn for the morning shift, along with a few others from 1-A. Tokage didn't have the time to tease her about Izuku and Tetsutetsu, much to her relief, since Tiger took to their training with much enthusiasm; that meant beating them to the dirt, then beating the dirt off them, proceed to repeat until none could stand. She was proud of her stamina, but even she had to beg for quits when round 10 rolled up, their lunch-time period eaten by their collective beating.

The only one that continued to make a front against the tanned, muscular man was the vampire from 1-A. Izuku was wielding a red-tinted sword, his footwork an exemplary thing to follow as he tried to dance and match Tiger with only hand-to-hand (sword to hand in this case) combat; it was clear that Tiger's experience was superior to the vampire, but Itsuka knew that Izuku was not going at it with his full power. He was putting effort alright, but he had yet to use the myriad of abilities he could draw upon, limiting himself for some reason.

The girl stood from the ground on shaky knees, one hand placed over her left ribs, a stinging sensation following her every breath. She saw the vampire keep a rapid pace, his sword constantly trying to slice into their teacher, the edge always missing by nothing more than millimeters. Tiger clearly noticed the improvement in Izuku's fighting ability, wondering how the vampire had gotten suddenly much better overnight.

He decided to do a favorite of his, batting aside the red blade of the odachi with his gloves and lunging to grab the vampire by his face, the muscles of his arms bulging.

Izuku widened his eyes and managed to jump backwards, avoiding for the first time the grab while skidding backwards. His right eye twitched constantly, the teen hissing and sucking air, seemingly bothered by something.

"Very well, Midori-kitten! You managed to dodge it!" Tiger exclaimed, hands on his hips and excited smile painting his lips. "Although…" The man muttered, observing the twitches and shakiness of the vampire's right eye and hand.

Izuku sighed, the abnormalities stopping once the vampire was sure that combat had finished for now. "It is not easy to keep enhancing your reflexes with lightning." He said as if explaining that water was wet. Tiger's eyes bulged out, the man rushing to the vampire's side.

"Now that is a worrisome thing to joke about, you naughty kitten." Tiger spoke in a contrary tone to the content of his words, his voice completely serious.

Izuku stared at him in a questioning manner. "Joke?"

Kendo slowly approached the two, a limp in her step evident. "I take it that it is something new you developed?" She questioned the green-haired hemomancer, seeing him nod while sheathing his sword.

"I have been experimenting with a few quirk-factors, hoping to develop something to teach to some of my classmates." He explained, nursing his temple with narrowed eyes. "Some take time to work out safely." His explanation got Tiger to cross his arms over his chest, the tall man musing something.

"Your profile did say that your combat prowess was much higher than what you displayed yesterday; I thought that you were focusing on developing your swordsmanship, considering your use of that blade, but to see that you were focused on developing quirks…" Tiger didn't finish his line of thought, eyes taking in the vampire's frame.

Izuku, on his part, accepted the small breather for the chance it was. The lightning enhancement was still difficult to work out, considering that he wasn't immune to the effects of the powers that he pulled upon. He was trying to reach a middle point with [Electric Blood], but it was proving to be – much like the nature of the element – hard to tame. The vampire's progress with the skill was slow, his first tries either being too weak and merely tickling his nerves, or too strong and causing out-of-control spasms. It was due to his regeneration that the vampire hadn't truly damaged anything nor had something more embarrassing occur (frying his brain and craping his pants was not in his to-do list for summer camp, thank you), so he was careful with what he experimented with.

"What have you developed so far?" Tiger asked boldly, making the vampire raise a brow.

"Well, it depends…" Izuku opted to give out a cryptic answer. He wasn't about to give the trump-cards of his classmates to Tiger on a silver platter to allow the man to create counters against them that easily. "A little bit of this, a little bit of that."

The man noticed the ploy for what it was. "Keeping some secrets is fine and whatnot, Midori-kitten, but when it comes to training it is best that you be truthful with us. We are here to help you after all!" Izuku merely blinked at the man.

Itsuka watched the two from the side, still nursing her ribs. "I know that this might sound a bit unfair since you guys arrived first, but why not just show everything?"

Izuku turned to the girl, seeing her friends sprawled on the ground almost like dead chickens. "Why don't I give you my accounts and passwords too, while I'm at it?" His glance at the girl caused her to scowl her features. "I'm sorry to inform you, but I do not fall for the puppy-eyes trick or the pouty lip."

"Har har, ack!" His snarky comment caused Itsuka to scoff, although she regretted as her ribs reminded her of their state. "Oww…" She whined.

The vampire approached her, some concern showing on his face. "You want to ice it?" He offered, showing one open hand, the palm slightly emitting a white fog. Itsuka seemed to consider rejecting the offer, but another breath flared another round of pain, drawing a wince out of her lips.

"M-maybe later." She wheezed out.

He nodded, turning to Tiger. "One last spar?"

Tiger displayed a wide smile at that. "Your stamina is almost boundless, Midori-Kitten! Alright!" He stated, entering the cat-combat's usual stance. The vampire also took his own stance, something propitious for quick draw of his blade, but then he forwent it, drawing it and taking a traditional stance. Seeing the vampire's serious attitude, Tiger called him out. "However, I want you to fight seriously, Midoriya. Do not hold back."

Izuku narrowed his eyes at the hero's request. "I wasn't holding back."

Tiger cocked a brow up. "So you meant to be slammed on the ground multiple times?"

[Insolent male! We were allowing your presence in our vicinity for your skills, but since you insist on this petulant provocation, we shall show you a sliver of our greatness!]

[Let us taste your blood! Let's see if it is worth the trouble!]

"Do be careful then." Izuku whispered, letting blow flow on his arms and harden into his usual [Blood Gauntlets]. Life fluid also covered his face, masking his mouth and nose behind the oni-mask, Izuku making sure that his blood began to flow with an increased rate in his veins.

Tiger immediately noticed that the aura around Izuku changed. The vampire was always serious about his training – that much was clear for anyone with a set of working eyes – but right now the teen seemed to shift into someone else. It was like the hero was staring into a hardened veteran. Tiger hardened his stance, wary of what he had asked the vampire.

Itsuka, sensing the growing tension, did the responsible thing and backed off, getting closer to her downed teammates.

The male member of the Pussycats felt shivers running down his spine, ducking in instinct and avoiding the vampire's blade, the whistling of wind being a fierce whining noise. Tiger primed a fist to counter, aiming for Izuku's torso. The blow was stopped by a gauntlet-clad fist, the teen meeting the hero's fist with his own. The red blade once more came, the tip coming for a stab aimed at Tiger's shoulder. The male Pussycat backed off, cart-wheeling to avoid the following slashes.

Once Tiger managed to distance himself from Izuku, the hero noticed the vampire throwing something at him. Five red projectiles cut through the air, the muscular hero batting them aside, the distraction allowing Izuku to suddenly [Blink] upon the man, red-tinted blade coming for a descending slash. Tiger batted the sword aside, his guard managing to withstand the fairly heavy attack of the hemomancer; however, Izuku was far from done. A shift from his right foot had his shadow sprout a few tendrils, the dark matter fetching the red kunai on the ground and launching them once more at Tiger.

Unwilling to be poked by the red-colored weapons, the hero careened to the side, circling around the vampire and observing the change in tactics. He kept circling Izuku, the teen squared up with his high-guard sword stance and waiting to punish any reckless charge from Tiger. The hero suddenly changed his course from circling Izuku to rushing him, the muscles in his arm bulging, his cat-gloves dying to execute another grab on the vampire.

Izuku waited, his world slowing to a crawl as his blood-and-lightning enhanced mind captured the sight of all of Tiger's movements. One right hand came with a slapping motion that might as well be a bear's paw slap, but the vampire didn't back off from the challenge. Tiger wanted to see him at his so called "best", so Izuku would prove that he wasn't playing about to the hero. He cut off the effects of [Electric Blood], the world speeding a bit as the slow-motion of Tiger's gloved hand increased. The very moment the hero was in his range, Izuku swung his red Odachi, the blade aimed at the wrist guard of the hero.

The precise slash hit the tanned man, "parrying" the attack and opening Tiger for a counter. Izuku released his left hand from his sword's grip and let a small amount of his gauntlet's blood turn into [Explosive Blood], the following backhand decking right into Tiger's abdomen and blasting him away, a smoke cloud obscuring the sight of the duo. Izuku didn't need to rely on sight to know Tiger's location, his other senses keen enough to allow him to spot the hero a few meters away.

Frontal attacks were an invitation for Tiger to either slam or flip you like a pancake, so Izuku opted for a more three dimensional option, jumping to one of the many trees surrounding them, [Blinking] until he was high up and behind the man.

[Ninpou Hisatsu: Shutsugen Kira!](Shinobi Arts Ultimate Move: Apparition Killer)

Izuku unleashed his move, his red blade tilted so that the flat side of the weapon would be connecting with Tiger's neck. The hero – in a fit of unhuman flexibility – bent his upper torso ninety degrees backwards, dodging Izuku. The vampire shot over him, spinning to bleed off momentum from his rush, the earth around him littered with his previously launched kunai. The teen's shadow sprouted tendrils again, but this time the dark faux-limbs merely grabbed the weapons and brought them back to sink in his shadow.

"That looks creepy, and I am a spooky blood-sucker." Izuku commented, sheathing his sword, yet not releasing the tension in his body, his stance ready to spring into action.

"It has been a while since I needed to do it like that." Tiger straightened himself, chuckling to the younger male. "Your swordsmanship is quite practical; although you could do with less lethal aimed attacks, Midori-Kitten. We might be facing villains out there, but you are to try your best to arrest them. We are here as protectors of the people, not as executioners." Tiger preached, crossing his arms over his chest and trying to sound sagely.

Izuku merely blinked. Right, that was a thing with the HSPC. Subduing apprehension was always given the priority during any arrest. It was a standard set by All Might, the government more happy to enforce it; it wasn't a written law, but there was a subtle difference on the treatment between heroes who had never claimed a human life and those that had crossed such line for the sake of others. The vampire took a deep breath and nodded, slowly releasing the tension from his body.

/Kittens, it is time for lunch!/ Mandalay's message echoed in Izuku's mind, and per Tiger's reaction it did on his too. The hemomancer untied his Odachi from his waist and let it drop to his shadow, the weapon sinking into the darkness and being stored into it. Ever since he had developed [Pocket], storing items into his shadow had become a quick habit for the vampire; ease of access to anything he placed in it wasn't something that he was going to complain about. That he could combine [Pocket] and [Shadow Control] so seemingly just spoke to the versatility of his quirk.

"I'll take your advice to heart." He stated to the hero, approaching his downed classmates. Shadowy matter sprung from the ground and aided the vampire carry his classmates, many pained moans echoing from them as they were lifted from the ground and carried by the shadows. The sight was rather comical, Kendo holding back her laughter due to her aching ribs and her own classmates not so better state.

Class 1-B trained hard. It wouldn't be a mistake to say that they also pushed their bodies to their limits since they were always being compared to their sister class of 1-A. The two classes were Heroics classes, but it was somewhat obvious to see that Japan had their sights on the first one.

Monoma had always encouraged competitiveness in his class, the blonde somehow getting the vice-president position on sheer charisma. Everyone from 1-B now knew him to be an obnoxious little bastard, but they couldn't deny that - while bothersome and irritating – his speeches and provocations were effective in getting the group to perk up and tackle new challenges.

Kendo was the class's big sister (and president), the one responsible for holding the leash on the blonde and settling most of her class down, but even she could – reluctantly – appreciate the gutsy and tenacious behavior of Neita. He could use a chill pill (as Tokage would say), but he did what he did for the good of their classmates. The martial artist girl managed to get Tokage and Tetsutetsu up, the duo pretending to be out from their hits to rest a bit from the torture disguised as training that they were being subjected to.

The entire group was returning to the cafeteria, their bellies demanding nutrition due to their strict routine.

"Look, I'm just saying that we can get the green wonder on our side! Kendo just needs to loosen up a little~. Show some more skin!" Setsuna joked, pointing her two indicator fingers towards the martial artist while maintaining a small grin.

Tetsu shook his head, vehemently disagreeing with the suggestion. "That is not manly behavior! We can match up just fine! We just need a bit more training." The silver-haired boy pounded a fist over his chest, hissing in pain soon after and trying to massage the area.

Itsuka leveled a deadpan at her dark green haired friend. "Really? Your best suggestion to help our improvement is to pimp my ass?" She asked sarcastically, her coarse language a result of her poor mood and aching body.

Setsuna shrugged her shoulders. "If it works, why not?"

Tetsu blushed, unsure if he could add anything to the conversation. He opted to remain silent.

Itsuka lightly smacked her friend, her hand impacting the back of Tokage's head, which then disconnected from her neck and rolled on the ground a few meters ahead of them. Kendo rushed ahead to grab her friend's head, turning it to glare at her friend's eyes. "I swear! Once you've learned to do this, you became insufferable!" The redhead complained, seeing the headless body of her friend follow through without any difficulties.

Tokage smirked, not bothered by the heated gaze of her friend. "Lighten up, Ken-chan! At this rate you might lose your head."

Kendo growled. "Don't you start with your dumb puns! I swear, I'll shove your head into the male's dirty laundry basket." Her threat didn't seem to have the intended effect, seeing as Setsuna merely laughed heartily.

"You don't have the balls, Ken-chan!"

"Try me!"

Tetsutetsu awkwardly stood close to the girls, his head hanging down in shame. "…this conversation is not manly at all."

The group continued their banter until they got close to their cabin lodge, observing Izuku drop his ball of humans close to Yaoyorozu, the girl immediately dropping her current training (i.e shoving cake in her mouth while creating flashbangs and other contraptions) to fuss over the teens. Izuku, once he figured that his class president got things in order, then began to make his way to one of the less tortured teens of the camp, Koda.

The shy teen was sitting by himself on one of the wooden benches available, sulking while nursing some tea for his sore throat. He had been shouting his throat raw, trying to hit the best tone that would allow him to call upon the most number of animals, but the environment was not making it easy for him. Bakugou's constant explosions and loud behavior would spook most animals away, Todoroki made the surroundings inappropriate for the animals to stay since the temperature was constantly shifting between bone-chilling cold and flesh-searing heat and the killing intent that would sometimes leak from the cave where Tokoyami was staying sure didn't make thing easy. The teen sighed, drinking his tea, which he almost sputtered out once he noticed the green-haired vampire making his way towards him.

Izuku slowed his steps once Koda noticed his presence, the shy teen clearly nervous with the vampire's presence.

"Hello there, Koda-san." Izuku greeted, avoiding showing the teen his claws.

Koda shyly nodded his head back to Izuku. "G-g-g-good afternoon, M-m-m-m-midoriya-san." Stuttering, the shy teen managed to push out some words.

Izuku wondered if any time he was to talk with the teen he'd have to make light use of [Mesmerize]. The vampire dipped his head to the shy teen, aware that anything more than this might scare or drive Koda to clam up.

"I'll leave you to your training then. If you need anything, then don't hesitate to call either Yaoyorozu or I." Izuku said, letting the teen be by himself. It would not do to force interactions with him, and if others were to see then they may assume something; Izuku had no need for any misunderstandings to pop-up during his time training with the Pussycats, especially considering that with 1-A's sister class present, a certain vine-haired religious girl was certain to be present and on the lookout for any "suspicious" activity from him.

The vampire began making his way to the kitchen, seeing if there was anyone in kitchen duty. His nose soon captured the scent of rice being cooked, Izuku heading towards the kitchen to see if anyone needed help with anything. He soon crossed to the room and found Tsuyu, Mina and two other girls that he hadn't met before, all dressed the school's track suit, aprons over their clothing.

Tsuyu and one black-haired girl were the ones busy near the stove, Mina and the other girl (a silver-haired girl with short hair) observing from a distance. They all noticed the vampire arriving, Mina raising a hand and shaking it towards the vampire, beckoning him closer.

"Midori, over here!" The pink-skinned girl enthusiastically called him. He followed, noticing the two unknown girls focus their attention on him rather strongly.

"Hello there, Mina-san," He greeted, waiting for the frog-girl to turn to him so that he could politely greet her. "Asui-san." He finished, although earning a slight glare from the girl. He nodded to the other girls, politely introducing himself. "Hello there you two, I am Midoriya Izuku, vice class president for 1-A."

The silver-haired girl had her hands hanging in front of her in a rather unusual manner. She tilted her head to the side, eyes dully staring the vampire. "Hello, Midoriya-san. I'm Reiko Yanagi, from class 1-B. It is a pleasure to meet you." Although the girl introduced herself with the necessary pleasantries, her voice tone couldn't sound any more bored if she was reading from an instructions manual on tying shoelaces.

Ashido took the chance to sigh exasperatedly, shaking her head and face-palming. "Geez, Rei-chan, it is almost like you're being super sarcastic. How about putting more life into your voice?"

Reiko tilted her head to the pink-skinned girl. "How so? I placed plenty of emotion in my voice this time, right?"

You didn't put any emotion into your voice! It is sort of impressive that someone can sound this dead on the inside. Izuku mused; he was aware that he was not the truly emotive-sounding guy, but Reiko here put him to shame.

"Not really. You sound like always, that is to say like you couldn't care less." The black-haired girl spoke. She finished seasoning one of the pots and placed a lid over it, turning to properly face the vampire. Her cerulean orbs settled into his frame and he saw then lightly widen, the girl taking a few seconds staring at him before she nodded, a muted "Mm." leaving her lips.

Reiko frowned her brow for the slightest bit. "Troublesome…" She muttered.

Izuku let a tiny smile paint his lips, finding some amusement at the situation. "I was wondering if you were in need of any help with lunch."

Asui finished her work with the rather large pot of rice she was cooking up, putting one finger to her lips in a pensive manner he had grown accustomed to seeing her do. "Well, I don't really think that there is anything else that needs to be done. We finished with the rice, the main dish, and the side dishes. We don't really have anything for dessert, so maybe…" The frog girl looked at the other girls, only to them return to Midoriya, a slight glare in her expression. "Also, call me Tsuyu-chan!"

Izuku held back a chuckle. "Sure thing, Asu–…" He saw the frog girl's glare deepen. "Tsuyu-chan."

Mina covered her lips with a spread hand, not truly hiding her intent to giggle at the situation. "Whipped much? I never knew Tsu-chan was the one wearing the pants into the relationship."

The vampire rolled his eyes, amused. He was about to say something, but then paused mid-speech and began focusing his eyes on his shadow. The girls were just about to question his eccentric behavior, but suddenly his shadow seemed to darken, becoming almost like ink under his feet; moments later a shadowy limb sprouted from the pool that the vampire's shadow had become, handing him a notebook.

The vampire grabbed the offered item and began to flip through the pages, unware of the gazes he was receiving from the two girls from their sister class. Once he found whatever it was that he was looking for, the green-haired teen held the notebook outwards, showing the pages to the girls. The two pages had written details about a quirk, the girls noticing that beside the many words there was a rough sketch of Mina in her hero costume.

"I was wondering if you have had any major progress with your quirk, Ashido-san. I have a few hypotheses, but didn't have the time to check them out with you." Izuku stated, letting the girl have the notebook. Mina carefully took it and began skimming through the words, eyes widening at the clean calligraphy and comprehensive explanations that lay in the pages.

"Wow, Midori! This is really impressive! Not even, like, my doctor got some of these things right the first time." The pink-skinned girl said, the other girls by her side all turning their eyes back to the vampire. Izuku licked his fangs, a bit unsure what to say. The glint in Ashido's eyes also didn't exactly help him word out his thoughts. "What, have you been stalking me or something?" She teased, her grin and demeanor all but shouting her intentions to bully him into saying something embarrassing.

Well, two can play that game miss…He mused in his mind. He crossed his arms over his chest and puffed it as much as he could, picturing Kirishima when the redhead was about to talk about something manly.

"Yes."

"There is no need to hide it–…wait, what?"

"Of course I do stalk you, Ashido-san." Izuku stated, his voice completely serious as he kept his gaze leveled at the girl. The other three by Mina's side had no reaction besides widening their eyes, unsure if they could even say anything.

Mina blushed, hiding her face behind the notebook and trembling a bit. She peeked from under the notes, finding Izuku with a shit-eating grin directed at her.

"Oh, you…you got me!" She exclaimed, using the notebook to smack the vampire on the shoulder. Izuku kept his grin; playing the straight-man act against people that enjoyed teasing others such as Ashido (or Kyouka for that matter) was too much fun. They were solely used to messing with people and embarrassing them, never having the tables turned on them. Well, he wasn't one to take such things simply lying down.

"Indeed." He spoke as smugly as he could, aware that the girls were only now catching up to the joke. Reiko firmly stared at him, the vampire noticing her gaze and turning to see if she would look away. She didn't.

That locked the two into a staring contest, Izuku unsure if she was playing about or trying to intimidate him with her gaze. He decided to break away from their eye lock, returning to Mina and Tsuyu.

"Jokes aside, Yaoyorozu and I were tasked with helping you guys with quirk development since our quirks are rather versatile. I have a few notes that I'm willing to share, but first comes any ideas that you might have thought about, but aren't sure how to apply." He explained his intent, seeing Mina excitedly nod her head.

"Right, right! Yaomomo did say that you might be coming by. Neat!" Mina exclaimed, flipping through a few more pages that had content on her. "I was sort of busy with the basic training and the remedial classes, so I haven't had the time to come with something really clever, so I'm counting on you, Midori!"

Izuku nodded, turning his gaze to the frog girl by the pink-skinned. "How about you Asu–…" The girl frowned at him. "Tsuyu-chan."

The frog girl eased her expression – only after the vampire had corrected his mistake – and took on a pensive gaze, her hands hanging up much like Reiko's when idle. It was sort of cute.

"My quirk training is rather straight-forward, Midoriya-chan. I don't see much how much improvement I could push that isn't developing resistance to my weaknesses." Asui stated. Izuku pointed to his notebook (still in Ashido's hand).

"You can keep it for now. I did brainstorm a few ideas that could possibly be applicable, but I'll need feedback from you to see what we can work with. I guarantee that while your [Frog]-quirk may sound simple, you'd be surprised with what can be accomplished when one takes the time to think properly. Besides, simple doesn't mean bad." He explained.

Tsuyu did seem curious to look over her supposed section, but Mina beat her to the punch.

"Dayummmm girl!" The pink-skinned girl exclaimed, looking at a few specific pages in the notebook. "Look at this Tsu-chan! Midori drew you here like you're packing an entire bakery in that thang!" The unnecessary accent aside, Izuku cocked a brow to Ashido, wondering if his drawings had any exaggeration. He did try to portray things as close to reality as possible, considering it would be silly to put to paper extremely unrealistic proportions for anyone, be it the girls or the boys.

Asui immediately turned to the other girl and glared at her, the two girls from 1-B also rushing to Ashido's side to check the truth of the matter. The three girls took turns checking the apparent drawing and then to the girl, multiple turns repeating as they compared the two.

Tsuyu then turned her head to glare at the vampire.

"What are you looking at my like that for? I didn't do anything strange." Izuku defended himself, putting his hands up.

Before the froggy girl could say anything else, Mina was by her side, one hand keeping the notebook open while the other came to pinch Asui on the right buttock. The girl yelped, jumping at the unexpected touch. She glared at Ashido, seeing the girl sheepishly smile at her.

"Sorry, sorry~! I was curious!"

Reiko, standing a few meters away, glanced at Yui, the two exchanging gazes for a moment before both feel on their knees in a praying pose.

""Praised be the cake!""

"Stop that!" Tsuyu exclaimed, glaring at the other two before returning her impassive gaze to the pink-girl. "Give me that notebook."

"Oh oh, Tsu-chan is angry!" Mina teased.

Izuku noticed that the froggy girl was tensing her legs, ready to leap for the book. He had a few options on his hand. One: he could demand Mina give back the notes and stop fooling around; two: he could use his powers to get the notes and give them to Asui; and three: he could drop to his knees and give praise to ye magnificent behind. Guess what he did?

"""Praised be the cake!"""

"Ribbit!"

Once the group managed to calm the froggy girl down and avoided breaking anything due to her powerful kicks, lunch was served to the starving beasts of 1-A and 1-B.

Speaking of beasts, Izuku today opted to have his meal in the kitchen along with the Pussycats. He had rather quickly managed to forge a friendship with the rescue group, although the child that the group cared for did his best to avoid the vampire almost like he was the plague. Izuku found it a bit strange, but decided to not comment on it to the group, chalking it up to some sort of phase that children went through in their young years. He couldn't really compare his experience to others, as normally children didn't have a voice in their head demanding fresh blood and violence. Nonetheless, he couldn't exactly complain about his life. He finished his meal and was about to offer help with the dishes, but the Mandalay shooed him away from their kitchen.

"Go on now, kitten! Don't think I don't see behind your tactic. We won't go any easier on you just because you are being a kind, helpful kitten." Shino playfully rebutted him, shaking a gloved finger to the sides while leaning forward.

Izuku, playing along, loudly clicked his tongue. "Oh no, whatever shall I do?" He played up the drama, putting the back of his left hand against his forehead. "My life shall forever be ruined, for the heroes have discovered my plans." He finished by kneeling on the floor and hanging his head low, arms lying uselessly on his sides.

Ragdoll guffawed at the cheesy improvised play, clapping her gloves hands. "My vote is for Midori-kitten to stay."

Pixie-Bob observed the play by Tiger's side, the man trying to restrain his laughter and shaking badly due to it. The blonde sighed, trying to play the part of the mature lady. "Come on, you've had your fun for now. Time to go back to training."

Mandalay rolled her eyes at Ryuko's attempt at adult-play. "You heard the /old/ lady." The adjective echoed in their heads, the blonde being left out for obvious reasons. Ragdoll suppressed herself with a loud snort, Tiger losing the battle and breaking down into a giggling fit while the leader of the group smiled. Izuku managed to not laugh due to running cold blood in his veins.

Ryuko, while unaware of the truth of the matter, still had a vein bulge in her forehead. "Mandy-chan, I don't know why, but I feel like I have just been insulted."

Mandalay shook her head in an exasperated manner. "What could you possibly be talking about, Ryuko-chan?" The leader innocently said, one hand behind her back motioning for the vampire to flee already. "What sort of person would I be if I were to be speaking ill about my teammate behind her back?"

Izuku took the cue and quickly bowed, leaving with a hurried gait in his step.

"Right!"

"Right."

"Where are you coming from, Midoriya?" Todoroki asked, seeing the vampire appear from the kitchen.

Izuku turned to the teen and took a deep breath, making sure to look both ways before he motioned for Shoto to get closer; once the dual-haired teen got close enough that the vampire could whisper in his ear, only then the vampire spoke.

"Literal cat-fight."

"…"

"…"

"Are you serious?"

"Completely."

"…"

"…"

"Okay."

"Indeed."

From a few tables over, Mineta tried to stretch his ears to catch even a small whisper from the conversation, the teen ending up on the table and stretching, hovering over the meals of the people whose table he was sharing with.

"Just a little bit moreeee~!"

Kaminari, Hanta, Yosetsu, Kaibara and Kosei wondered what in the love of god was the diminutive teen trying to do, the group only trying to eat their meal in peace before the next session of their torture. Denki then asked the question that was floating in the group's head.

"Mineta, dude, what's wrong with you?"

The purple-haired teen returned to his seat, eye blood-shot, his face a mask of anger. "I know that somehow Midoriya is getting lucky! He is planning something, or maybe fate is planning something for him, but I can feel it in my bones!"

The group all sighed in frustration at hearing another rant from the small teen, about how Midoriya was getting "lucky", whatever that meant.

"One day you philistines you realize that I was speaking the truth, and only then will you recognize my grandeur and prophetic abilities! I speak the truth!"

Hanta sighed and ejected a small piece of pace from his elbow, ripping it off and slapping it over Mineta's mouth. "Yeah, yeah, we get it. If you aren't going to eat, at least let us eat in peace."

Mineta continued his rant, even while muffled by the tape constricting his lips.

The group ignored the runt, but they turned their eyes towards the vampire, observing him talk with Todoroki while pointing to the pages of another notebook that he had gotten from somewhere. Denki scoffed, while Kosei moved his free left hand in a shaking motion.

"Midoriya? Scoring some? As if!"

"Look, I know only one person that might be interested in him, but I find it hard for something to happen while we are getting tortured like this!"

"Please do not seduce my sister." Shoto said while using the pencil he had borrowed from the vampire to point to the rather complex tree of names he had drawn on one of the blank pages from the notebook.

Izuku narrowed his brows in confusion at the other teen. "What are you talking about?"

Shoto merely leveled a blank gaze at the vampire, hand still firmly pointing towards one of the names in the reference tree he had designed. Under the pointed lead of the pencil the name read [Uraraka].

"I rest my point."

"You haven't made a point!"

"I rest my point."

Izuku sighed, face palming. "What type of sorcery is this?"

"Please study my body." Setsuna exclaimed loudly, eagle-spreading her arms.

Izuku, who was currently holding Kendo in a chokehold from behind, suddenly stopped putting pressure on his hold, blinking at the arrival of the girl.

Kendo, who was trying to break free of the chokehold, stopped trying to wiggle her left hand under the vampire's arm, her right elbow raised to impact against his side.

"What?"

"Excuse me?"

Setsuna observed the situation that the two found themselves into and burst into laughter. "Oh me, oh my, Ken-chan! If you wanted some alone time with Vampire-kun, all you had to do was ask!" The girl with a sharp-toothed grin smirked. Kendo huffed and rolled her eyes, thankful that all the exertion they were doing would hide any sort of blush that would have dusted her cheeks.

"Laugh it up, you bitch. You were not the one being choked." Itsuka shot back, the vampire releasing the hold and letting the girl get up.

Tokage snorted. "As if you aren't enjoying it, you hoe." The teasing banter kept happening between the two, Izuku observing it from his seat on the ground, content on letting it play.

Itsuka had asked to train her martial arts against him, their agreement that the spar would involve only their skills and reflexes. He agreed to it, asking if she would prefer other environment that wasn't the earth-packed floor of the forest he was finishing his swordsmanship moves, but she contented to it.

They had been training for the past hour, conversations not really growing beyond mere pleasantries, their focus being on their practice. Then, Setsuna had suddenly arrived.

"…anyway, I was talking with Vlad-sensei and Aizawa-sensei to see who could help me developing some new skill; Kan-sensei said that Monoma might have some idea and Aizawa-sensei said that vampire-kun here was my guy to go." The sassy girl explained, sending one arm floating towards Kendo, the hands poking the martial artist until she grabbed the limb and waived it at its owner.

"I'll smack you with your own hand if you keep it up!"

"You're such a spoilsport!" Tokage muttered to her friend while showing her tongue. "Monoma didn't exactly have anything new to share, so I figured that the resident spoopy-blood-drinker from 1-A would have some insight for me." She finished her spiel, calling the arm back to her. It returned to its original place without any problems.

Izuku took in the information shared and crossed his arms over his chest, running one hand over his jaw. He looked over to Kendo, seeing the girl nodding and offered him a pleading gaze.

"Sure, I helped Kendo-san; don't see a reason that would impede me from helping you too." He said, earning a jumping cheer from Tokage. "You can describe your quirk in its entirety to me, or I could just drink some of your blood to see what we are working with."

Tokage seemed taken back by the offer, sure that the vampire would have to be sweetened to help. Sure, he was helpful to Kendo and his own classmates, but after the shit-talk that Monoma was always spouting in class, Tokage was quite convinced that Kendo was biased towards her little crush being a person willing to help like this. He was nice enough and pleasant to talk to, but she was caught off-guard.

"Uhmm, right…so…how do we go do this? Do you just bite or…" Seeing her out-going friend be matched brought a pleasant feeling to the martial artist. She leaned over the vampire's right shoulder, looking at her friend with a teasing glint on her eyes.

"Hmm, what is this? Set-chan is suddenly getting shy now?" Itsuka teased.

Tokage snorted, getting her heat back. "Hah, as if! Bet you also never did this."

Kendo harrumphed. "I did." She spoke proudly.

Izuku managed to maintain a straight face, unwilling to burst the bubble of Kendo's confidence. She was usually more collected, but seemed to be swept quite easily by the flow of Tokage's teasing banter.

Setsuna growled at her friend. "Yeah? Then prove it! Vampire-kun, bite Ken-chan! Right now! In the neck or something!"

Now that got the attention of the martial artist and the blood-drinker. Kendo flushed while the vampire sat back and let the show play out, expending his senses and noticing that they were the only ones in the area. How had the girls so quickly riled each other to this point he was unsure, but he was rather enjoying it. He had never drank any blood from Kendo, but since a chance to introduce new quirk-factors was presenting itself, he wasn't about to refuse it. Although, he could throw a bone to the girl and not let her embarrass herself.

He shrugged and then stood up, his movement getting the two girls' attention.

"Come on, Kendo–" He stopped mid-speech, remembering the pet-name he had heard from Tokage. "Ken-chan." His lips twisted into a smirk. "The sooner we deal with this, the faster we can get back to training."

The martial artist was unsure of what to do, the sudden proposition hitting her like a freight train. She had spouted in the spur of the moment that the vampire had already drunk some blood from her, the white lie only in an effort to get her friend off her case; now, she had dug the trench even deeper. Worse yet, she could feel Setsuna's stare almost drilling a hole on her side, her friend just waiting for her to back out and prove herself a liar.

She leveled a gaze at Izuku, a bit of desperation coloring her teal-colored pupils. His green eyes stared confidently at her, the cocky smirk painted on his lips an unusual sight for sure.

"Although, bites on the neck are rather…special; that type of feeding is for other moments, more intimate ones, so I cannot do that with an unknown audience." He explained, approaching the girls with an easy gait in his step. Kendo stood still, Tokage at her side nodding and listening intently to each word the vampire was saying.

"With that being said, it is not like I can't show you a feeding session." His distance from the girls was almost none, the vampire extending a hand to Itsuka. Her blush reddened further, but she obeyed the silent instruction, offering said limb without any resistance to the green-haired hemomancer. Daintily, Izuku grabbed her hand and began ministering soft massages to her limb, seemingly entranced with her firm skin.

Setsuna stared at the two in a trance, gulping audibly, but otherwise remaining silent.

'What are you doing?' Itsuka mouthed to the vampire, her flushed face a treat that he wouldn't forget so soon.

He didn't answer her with words. After a few more moments of massaging her hand, he went down on his left knee, one hand grasping her own hand firmly as the other free one inspected her hand. He seemingly found whatever it was that he was looking for, as his free left hand indicator and middle finger slowly ran over the course of her left ring finger, a prickling and heated feeling indicating that he had both punctured and lightly cut her flesh. Soon enough a small stream of red fluid began to flow from the small cut, travelling through the length of her finger and pooling at the tip of the digit. Before the precious life fluid could drip on the earth, Izuku approached his open mouth to the digit, his tongue serving as bedding for both the digit and the fluid that dripped.

His fleshy muscle began to move, coiling around the length of her digit with a sloppy noise, expertly acquiring all the red fluid that lightly flowed from the wound. Kendo's blush increased further, to the point that her face and hair seemed rather indistinguishable. Tokage wasn't any better by her side, her flushed face standing out against her dark green hair.

The wet noises progressed into slurps as the vampire took the digit entirely into his mouth, running his tongue on the wound and enjoying the light snack that was Kendo's blood.

[Hmm, exquisite. It has much vitality and vigor. A meal for the wearied, a light snack that replenishes the soul.]

The vampire agreed to the assessment of the [Inner Beast], having to suppress a satisfied groan at the freshness of the 1-B's president's blood. He released Kendo's finger from his mouth with a wet noise, the digit covered with glistening saliva that lightly numbed it from the annoying pain that would have proceeded later. It would be akin to a papercut, truthfully inconsequential, yet bothersome nonetheless.

The girl seemed to be in a trance, staring at her wet digit with half-lidded eyes until she noticed that it no longer was in his mouth. She blinked rapidly, noticing that her friend had yet to utter a single word at the display. Tokage had her mouth hanging open, stunned into silence at the rather exotic display that happened. She slowly turned her eyes to her friend, trying to work out what to say after witnessing such sight. Quirks were unique and as such displayed many eccentricities that one had to deal with – herself included – but this was the first time that Setsuna had been truly reduced to a silent spectator.

Izuku rose from his knelt position and licked his fangs, appreciating the remaining taste that lingered in his mouth. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and appreciating the intricacies that only he could understand while digesting the blood, only opening his eyes after a couple of breathing cycles.

Two silent and flushed girls were the first thing in his sight, a pleased growling echoing in his head as the [Beast Within] expressed its opinion on the girls. He ignored the call, letting the fluid reach the furnace of his stomach and begin the process of quirk-factor breakdown, and then focused his sight on the dark green-haired girl. Setsuna flinched under his gaze, the emerald green that made his orbs glistening with a red tint that whispered of the power hidden within.

"Satisfied?" He asked in a smug manner.

Tokage languidly nodded, the blush slowly fading from her cheeks as she centered her thoughts. "…yeah…that was…insightful…"

He cocked his head to the side, feeling bemused. "Would you still like to try?"

"Huh?"

"Having me drink your blood; the quirk analyses." He leisurely replied, almost as if explaining a complex matter to a toddler.

Setsuna widened her eyes, only now remembering her reason for approaching the duo. "…sure." Her reply was sheepish and short, the girl standing still and waiting for the vampire to proceed. Izuku, having enough (controlled) amusement, was faster on the uptake. His mouth was already full of numbing/lightly poisonous saliva, thus he grabbed Setsuna's right arm and sank his fangs into the limb, earning a light yelp and a following hard glare from the girl.

A mere mouthful and Izuku released the limb, turning his head back to gulp what was in his mouth.

"HEY! What was that for?!" Tokage complained loudly, cupping the area that now housed two round perforations. "Why does Ken-chan gets the princess treatment and I get the mad-hound bite ride?"

"OI! What do you mean princess?"

Izuku smacked his lips. "Seniority." His reply made no sense for the two girls. He didn't seem eager to explain it too, considering he immediately crossed his arms and closed his eyes, focused on something else and shutting out the whining from the other girl.

[This is…rather different from the usual female nectar. It is quite tasty, but it is rather unique, even among those that we have feed upon.]

Blood echoes lingered at the very edge of his mind, whispering about memories that didn't belong to him. He pushed those aside, more interested in the double-helix that appeared in his mind, the pattern unraveling to reveal its secrets to him. He called upon it, feeling the quirk-factor obey and bare itself raw to him.

"…how interesting." He muttered, opening his eyes. The action called the attention of the two bickering girls back to him.

Setsuna snorted. "Finally back with the living, huh?"

"Indeed." Izuku nodded, his shadow darkening and rippling almost like the water of a lake. From the darkness his odachi was slowly presented out, the teen grabbing the weapon and tying it at his waist. "I already have a rough idea of your power."

Tokage rolled her eyes. It seemed like she was going to jump, but instead of her whole body following through the motion, only her head moved. Quite literally in fact, her head disconnecting from her neck without any sound of apparent discomfort for the girl. "It is named [Lizard Tail Splitter], but as you can see, I'm not limited to a tail. It is quite neat." She boasted, her arms also disconnecting from her torso and taking two seconds to free themselves from her shirt. Her head spun while arms danced around her body, the sight a thing straight out of a b-tier horror movie if her limbs were to be covered in blood. As things stood, it looked a bit silly.

Izuku nodded to the practical explanation. "You also seem to have a form of telekinesis and a healing factor. It is quite the interesting quirk."

Kendo seemed a bit miffed. "Well, sorry! Not all of us have impressive, showy powers." Her sarcasm was heatless, the girl more annoyed at the smirk sent at her by her friend than anything else.

"Jealous much? Shishishi." Tokage used her disconnected limbs to perform an "Ojou-sama" laugh.

Kendo rolled her eyes and sighed. Setsuna would have kept her teasing for longer, but Izuku hand-motioned for her to approach him. She recalled her limbs and connected them back on her body, approaching him. "So sensei, what is my diagnosis?"

Izuku let a hand rest over the sheathed length of his sword. "How good are your reflexes?"

"I'm not bad." Setsuna cheekily replied.

A breeze flowed through the woods they were at, the vampire feeling the cold wind run its course on his skin.

"Have you ever heard about the Monsoon?"

"For now, just watch me." He commanded towards the person sitting across him. The vampire closed his eyes and took a deep breath, sitting in seiza. He took slow, measured breaths, but something powerful was building within him, his hair – normally a somewhat shaggy mane – spiking up. Sparks of green lightning began to crackle around him, a dull hum of power begging to be released and run rampart. The sharp smell of ozone began to build up around them, the two seemingly unbothered by the scent.

The crackle of lightning dimmed on the outside, but one could still feel the power within the teen with a mere glance.

"This is just a demonstration for now, I'm still working out some kinks on this." Izuku's eyes were still closed, his face scrunched in concentration. He sucked air in through a hiss, feeling lightning spark around his head, his right eyelid twitching a terrible amount until he managed to wrestle the energy in control. He stopped pulling on the quirk-factor, releasing a huff of air and finally opening his eyes.

Right in front of him sat excited-beyond-words Kaminari, the blonde teen practically shaking in his seat across the vampire. The two were sitting on a corner of the living room, taking the chance to practice before the remedial classes began, and the blonde teen could barely hold back his own excitement.

"You gotta teach me that Midoriya! That looked sick!" Denki exclaimed, but his expression soon shifted from excitement to confusion. "But I don't really get what it is supposed to do. Is it just to look cool? I bet it is to look cool!"

Izuku held back a snort. "No Kaminari, it isn't just to look cool." The vampire sighed and licked his fangs, wondering how to explain himself. "You are going through heavy training to increase how much power you can push out, right?" His question had the other teen flinching and cringing.

"…yeah, Aizawa-sensei is having me work with a generator. The more electricity I pump into it, the harder it becomes to absorb and even to push into it." He explained, head down.

"Right." The vampire scratched the back of his head, licking his fangs. "This is akin to that, except that the generator is…mmm…you yourself. You do know how the nervous system works in the human body, right?"

Denki grimaced at Izuku. "Sort of?"

The vampire kept a dull stare on the blond, Denki rubbing the back of his neck nervously. After a few moments of tension, Izuku finally blinked his eyes and hung his head back, trying to further dumb things down. He pondered for a few minutes, letting Denki stew under his silence. I guess that practice is the best method for him. How about… Izuku extended one hand towards the teen, covering the limb with a thin layer of blood that hardened into a lightly armored [Blood Gauntlet].

"Give me your hand, I want to try something." Izuku stated. Denki hesitated a bit, but relented, placing his hand on the (in his mind) scary and sharp hold of Izuku's grasp. "Don't follow through, just get a feeling and try to get used to it." Instructions done, Izuku began to once more pull upon the needed quirk-factor. Green lightning began to crackle along the gauntlet, dancing across from Izuku to Denki. The teen almost flinched under the sudden sensation, the tingling similar to when he was using his power, but still different enough.

"Look into my eyes." The vampire's words seemed to almost have a physical presence bearing down on him when Kaminari heard them, focusing his eyes into Izuku's crimson-slit orbs. "I'm going to show you how this is supposed to go, but the moment that your power begins to ramp up I'll shut it off. It might be a bit jarring, but please bear with it."

"Okay." Denki muttered, his sight being colored by red tones. Whispering began to echo in his mind, the teen unable to truly make out the content of the words, his mind directed and led to focus into the task of understanding the lesson Izuku was trying to teach him. Ghostly hands touched his mind and eldritch knowledge tempted him, but the guiding presence of the vampire in his mind kept the blonde focused.

Bzttt…bzttt...bztttzzz…crackleeeeeee….Bzttt…bzttt...bztttzzz…crackleeeeeee….

Bzttt…bzttt...bztttzzz…crackleeeeeee….Bzttt…bzttt...bztttzzz…crackleeeeeee….

"Enough for now." The vampire's voice beckoned with a polite, but firm manner. Denki blinked, suddenly awake and rather hyper-aware of his surroundings; air seemed brush against his skin, the colors of everything became strong and he felt like he could do anything. All for the span of five seconds, after which his world returned to normal.

"Whoa! That was, like, crazy dude!" Denki excitedly exclaimed, eyes filled with new respect for the hemomancer.

Izuku let his lips quirk up a bit. "Feels amazing, right? Increased perception, that is." He cleared up. "You can perform that, at a level that will leave me in the dust. We just need to be careful in developing this, which for now you can only do when close to either myself or Aizawa-sensei."

"Dude, are you kidding me? This was amazing! I never thought I could use my power like this! What do you call it? There's gotta be a badass name for it, right? What is it? Wait, don't tell me, I'm gonna guess! Lightning Cloak? Thunder Veil? Super Electric Mind?"

Izuku shook his head amusedly. "I haven't named it yet, but you are welcomed to do so."

Kaminari was over the moon. "Nice! I get to name my own super move! Let me remember how it felt!" The blonde teen closed his eyes and seemed to be hard at thought. He rolled ideas in his mind for a while, all while Izuku carefully observed him to make sure the teen didn't suddenly keel over convulsing with a fried brain or spasms.

Denki suddenly shot up, one hand pointing to the seiza-sitting Izuku while the other jabbed at his own right temple. "That felt like we were electricity going through power-lines, you know! Almost like we were cowboys riding it! You know, Ride Lightning!" Kaminari shouted the phrase in English, so great was his enthusiasm.

"You mean, Ride the Lightning?" Izuku corrected the tiny slip.

Denki shook his head sideways. "Nah, dude! Ride Lightning sounds much more badass! It's gotta be that!"

Izuku bemusedly smiled. "Sure, let's go with that."

Denki whooped in joy!

Far from the two, a person watched with narrowed eyes, brows furrowing in displeasure before they returned to their own training.

"How are you feeling?"

"…you already know…"

"No, I don't. You need to explain it properly."

"Jerk…"

"Come on, don't be like that."

"Hyah! Stop it, don't be so rough, they are sensitive!"

"Huh? How so? They are so hard!"

"Ssstop i-it…"

"WILL YOU FUCKS STOP THAT SHITTY SOAP-OPERA PLAY, YOU RETARDS!" Bakugou shouted towards Izuku and Kyouka, the two sitting by a couch on the living room, the vampire holding one of the girl's earlobes and examining the jack for any damage due to her training. The jack was plugged into a small tentacle of blood that emerged from the vampire's neck. "GET A FUCKING ROOM ALREADY, OR JUST GO INTO THE FUCKING WOODS AND GET IT OUT YOUR FUCKING SYSTEM!"

The ash-blonde had been a whole lot more irritable due to his training, his hands wrapped in gauze and ointment, and the vampire was not helping with his shitty attitude. He had been constantly going around and talking with just about every single one of the extras, offering some sort of advice (Hah, as if they could improve into something mentionable) to just about everyone. From Ponytail to Icy-hot, from Weird-hair to that dangly-ears bitch, the fucking blood-sucker was stalking everyone, writing his shitty little notes and spreading his weirdness to everyone.

Bakugou even saw a few of the other extras from the extra-class reach out to the shitty leech, trying to cozy up to that monster to see if they'd learn something useful. Fat chance of that happening, but Katsuki had seen that fucking leech and the dunce-face practicing some weird fucking meditation, so the ash-blonde would keep a lookout. He didn't want to listen to the blood-sucker's shitty romance with these thots, he needed to learn how to defeat that fucker.

The vampire ignored the shouts from his classmate, turning back to Kyouka and seeing the girl refuse to meet his eyes. He was checking up on her, but also messing with her, as she had been rather focused on her training. His own training was slowly progressing, but there was always time for him to mess around a bit. Relaxation was always welcomed after the intensive training they were subjected to. He unplugged her jack from the small tendril of blood that emerged from his neck and let it return to the girl.

"There doesn't seem to be any damage to your jacks, so keep up." He stated, the girl only acknowledging him with a side glance.

"Can't believe Bakugou would say something like that…" She muttered, playing with the ear lobe that the vampire had checked over. Izuku chuckled, amused at her shy expression.

"What's wrong? Think we wouldn't make a good pair?" He asked in a neutral tone, the question making Kyouka blush harder and gawk at him.

"M-Midoriya!?"

The vampire noticed other people approaching them, and decided to end his teasing streak for now. He offered the girl a smug smile – a recent constant that irked her – and chuckled. "Don't worry, I'm just kidding."

Jirou would reply back with something witty and sarcastic, but the steps of the approaching people got her to hold back. She would get him other time. She harrumphed, turning her back on the hemomancer.

Izuku's eyes scanned the girl's back, the green-slit orbs lingering on the compact derriere of the rocker girl. He licked his fangs, clenching his jaw shut and forcefully wrenching his eyes away from her body and towards the incoming people. Much to his surprise, Eraserhead, Vlad King and Tiger were the ones approaching them, the males' eyes locking on the vampire's frame.

"Midoriya, I need to talk with you." Aizawa calmly called him. Izuku nodded, leaving his seat with Kyouka and following his teachers. They didn't go far, just enough that they were afforded some privacy in the lodge. The vampire had a few ideas brewing in his mind as for this sudden summon, but he would let his teacher explain first.

Aizawa took out a tablet from his scarf and began searching through it for something, all the while Tiger seemed to merely stand guard. Kan-sensei seemed to be appraising him with a fixed stare, the vampire taking a breath and appreciating the scent that lingered around the hero. Vlad King's quirk allowed him to use his own blood, [Hemokinesis] if he wasn't mistaken, in many ways, almost like Izuku's own [Advanced Hemomancy]. That meant that Vlad had his blood out his body quite often, the smell impregnating his hero costume with a heavy scent of life fluid, the smell rather tantalizing for the vampire teen.

Izuku's mouth watered, the previously sedated [Thirst] whispering on his mind, beckoning for the teen to have a sip of the hero's blood.

Aizawa seemed to have found whatever he was looking for in his tablet, his dull eyes now focusing on Izuku. "I was talking with Tiger and Vlad, sharing some plans and details for the training of the students and one point was raised up; you and Yaoyorozu helping develop your classmates' quirks. They," He pointed to the other two males, "weren't aware of it, but I have already explained things. Tiger told me about your most recent development, something about lightning improving perception?"

Izuku relaxed now that he confirmed he wasn't in trouble. He sighed, wanting to keep the skill under wraps until it was fully developed, but considering his teachers already knew about it now, it was better to just explain than to have the men doubting his intent. He explained his idea to the three, sparing only the most cryptic details about the skill (mostly how he had been affected by it).

"Hmm." Eraserhead grunted, digesting the information with narrowed eyes. Vlad, on the other hand, was incredibly open with his opinion about it.

"You are quite the firecracker, huh, Midoriya?" Kan said, his fanged smile and friendly expression making the vampire feel a bit guilty about his hidden desire to sink his fangs into the man's neck and drink blood from him. What sort of taste would a fellow blood-user have? Himiko's blood was a sweet-and-sour delicacy; would Kan's blood be bland? Would it be tasty? He felt the beckoning of the [Beast Within], clamoring for crimson-red blood. "I read some of the notes that Aizawa sent me and boy, oh boy, I haven't seen such skill in quirk analyses before."

The kind and – surprisingly for him – praise helped him steel his mind against his animalistic urges, Izuku offering the 1-B homeroom teacher his own smile, fangs fully exposed. "Thank you, sir."

"Don't butter him up, he ain't changing classes." Aizawa dully stated to his fellow teacher, seeing the man flinch in surprise.

"Ah, come on Shota! It wasn't like that and you know it! The kid is good, one or two compliments don't hurt, you know!"

"Whatever you say." The sleep-deprived man rolled his eyes and focused back on the vampire teen. "We wanted to see if you were willing to take in a few blood-samples, try to see if you could give the others a few tips too. Are you up for it?" Aizawa asked, carefully gauging Izuku's reaction. He was aware (since he had Izuku's fully updated quirk file) of the dangers of overfeeding the teen too much blood or too many quirk-factors at once; avoiding another I-Island incident was a big priority after all.

Izuku licked his fangs. Such a suggestion was…lovely. It felt like a trick question, so sweet and inviting that it almost looked like a death trap. He took a few moments to ponder, almost tempted to do a mind dive and check on the state of the cage of will that held his tenant at bay.

[…]

There was silence in his mind, the [Inner Beast] silent. It made him suspicious, but his mental faculties were stable and solid. The vampire slowly nodded his head.

"I am willing to do it. It would be better if you were along when we do it, but I'm okay with doing this." He spoke to Aizawa, his green orbs full of willpower. The teacher nodded.

Kan ran a hand under his chin. "I'll check up on my brats to see if they are willing to try. In any case, I also want to see what you are capable of doing. It is a bit hard to see blood-quirk users such as us get into the spotlight, so I have some grand expectations for you, kid!" The blood hero stated, giving the vampire a happy grin. The sight of his fangs stirred something in the vampire's mind, but he suppressed it well enough.

"I'll try my best to live up to your expectations, sir!"

Aizawa observed the interaction with disinterest. "How about your firearms training?"

The question made Tiger frown his brow. "Midori-kitten? What is this about?"

Izuku mentally noted the man's apparent distaste for guns, but held off on any further thoughts. "I am a bit limited in my ranged options; guns do cover for middle and long range, their ammunition doesn't tap into my own blood, but I can craft custom bullets from my own blood if necessary and they expand my array of tools. They also work rather well for intimidation, as no person wants to get shot." The teen explained while his shadow began rippling until two dark limbs popped out, bringing with them his two guns.

There were no modifications to their design, but Mei had commented with Izuku about working on a few other designs, including something she had gotten inspiration from watching him mix his blood and shadow matter on occasion. She called her project [Trick Weapon Workshop], but he had yet to see any design of hers. He hoped they weren't too crazy, but he maintained a healthy dose of caution and worry in mind; it was his Mei after all.

"I haven't trained here yet, but I do have a few areas scouted that are safe and suitable for firearms training." He said, displaying that his weapons were unloaded. Aizawa gave him a nod of approval, Kan holding a surprised expression with the other teacher's trust on the vampire. Tiger still seemed a bit miffed, but held off any commentary. "The mountains seem to be the safest option. Solid stone to block the practice rounds and the sounds can travel far and ward off anyone from snooping carelessly around."

Kan shook his head in good mannered exasperation. "Since you seem to know what you are doing, I'll leave it up to you. Let me see my brats now and relay the message. If all goes well, we can begin tomorrow." Finally finishing his spiel, Vlad King took his leave.

Izuku let the man go out of sight before he released a shuttered sigh. It was just like having a well-done buffet with wafting aromatic food lying in front of you, yet being forbidden from consuming it; almost maddening.

Aizawa observed it, but didn't comment. "Come on, get to rest. Even if the students from 1-B reject the offer, we will have your classmates and much else to focus on."

Izuku nodded. "Yes, sir. Goodnight."

Aizawa grunted his answer.

"…and there you have it." Vlad finished his explanations, arms crossed over his muscular chest. The students from his class immediately began to whisper among themselves, speculating what had brought on this opportunity. There were a few that were clearly displeased with the notion.

"Kan-sensei, you'll have to forgive me if this sounds arrogant, but isn't that guy a first year like us? What qualifies him to help us with quirk development? And even if we were to agree to such experimental and untested method of learning, what guarantee do we have that he won't jump us to try and drain our blood?" Monoma stood up and began to speak with eloquence, unwilling to simply let 1-A (and especially that bloody leech) get one over them. Ibara nodded her head in agreement, her face contorted into a frown; there was also another teen that had a sour expression and arms defiantly crossed over his chest. He had a insectoid appearance and blade-like tusks emerging from the sides of his mouth.

The Blood Hero sighed. "Neito, I understand some of your frustrations with the recent spotlight that 1-A has been having, but a chance at improvement should never be passed on without some thought. I'd never put any of you at needless risk if I can help it, and this is an opportunity for you to get a leg up in the game, understand your own powers better." His explanation swayed many of the children in class. "I'm not looking for an immediate answer, you can sleep on that today, but I'd appreciate an answer tomorrow morning."

"We will think about it, sensei." Kendo cut off the blonde vice president before he could spout anything else, the teen looking at her with a stunned expression.

Kan nodded. "Thank you Kendo. I'll leave now, good night!"

Barely had Vlad King left the room, the whispers immediately grew louder as the students discussed about the news. Having the resident "monster of UA" help them improve and develop their quirks sounded rather interesting, if one were to ignore the part that he needed to consume their blood. They had seen some of his training, and while many still had their personal doubts about his conduct and morals, his strength was uncontested.

"I will not stand for the entirety of our class being asked so naively to perform a blood sacrifice in pursuit of strength. What are we, that such an obvious devilish temptation weakens our willpower this much?!" Ibara voiced her displeasure, clearly unwilling to participate in the experiment.

Kendo sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. She loved her vine-haired friend, but this strange fear and mess of misconceptions about 1-A's vampire had to end. "Look, Vlad-sensei said that we don't need to come to a decision now. Besides, it is only for anyone that wants to do it. No one will be forced to participate." She reasoned.

The tusked-teen from earlier scoffed. "As if those silver-spooned turds from 1-A could even help us develop anything." His antagonistic comment got the martial artist to narrow her brows.

"Kamakiri…" She drawled his name, the teen avoiding her gaze, but still petulantly holding his negative stance.

"While I do not condone his language, Kamakiri-san and Monoma-kun bring up fair points." Ibara said, sending a chastising look to the insectoid-looking teen. She held her stare until said boy had deflated his chest, the girl then holding her head high after correcting her classmate.

Setsuna cut into the conversation. "Not wanting to sound like a negative-nancie, but we kinda did lose against them in the sports festival." She pointed out, the class's mood dipping down as they remembered the event. "And you know, Izuku defeated the Hero Killer. If anything, the dude is powerful." Her comment got steam off from Monoma's and Ibara's sail against the vampire. Even Kamakiri had to relent to the point, the video of the vampire bringing Stain down still one of the recently most viewed videos in media, many montages and edited clips circulating the net.

"…I'm up of it." A voice whispered among them, the students trying to find the source; the students found it being one of the smaller girls from class. She had honey brown hair in a mushroom shape, a rather big fringe covering her eyes and she seemed to be feeling uncomfortable under watch of all her classmates. "I-I think that-t we-e should at least g-give it a chance. H-h-he doesn't seem to be so bad…" she finished shyly, almost curling in herself as Monoma sent her a heated gaze. She was about to retract her statement when a hand settled on her left shoulder, making her flinch and yelp in surprise. Yui was the one responsible for it.

"If it helps, I'll do it first as a test. You all can decide later." She stated calmly.

That got another round of murmurs and whispers. A few minutes went by, another teen then voicing out his opinion.

"Grr*ahem*I would only be fair for us to give a chance to Sir Midoriya to explain himself tomorrow." The rough and growling voice belonged to a male teen covered in shaggy brown fur. He carefully adjusted his glasses, displaying his thick arms. "I take some counseling classes with Sir Hound Dog and he has spoken very well of Sir Midoriya. We can reserve judgement for when we have a complete picture of what we are dealing with." He – Jurota Shishida – finished his argument, getting the discussion to a rather abrupt end.

Ibara seemed to be clearly displeased with the matter, but she did relent with Jurota's logic. She didn't like, but she knew a sound argument when she heard one. She had been observant of the vampire ever since she arrived, but he had yet to act out suspiciously. He had been meandering with the many others, including a few from her class; Kendo had been rather close with him, but there was little to worry about with their class president. She didn't seem affected by the vampire's mind tricks.

Nonetheless, Ibara would stand alert against the blood-drinker.

"Shia-chan, stop brooding in the corner and come have dinner with us!" Tokage shouted at her from afar.

"I am not brooding!" She shouted back.

The fourth day since Izuku and his classmates arrived had the vice class president of 1-A standing beside his teacher and Vlad King from class 1-B. They had been awakened early as always, but this time the morning training only extended until 10 A.M, the groups then called to for a presentation or something of the sort.

The vampire was aware of the reasons behind this summoning, but he let the teachers explain to the students. They'd do a better job than him for sure.

Explanations were short and to the point, Aizawa quite known for his no-nonsense and swiftness when dealing with any sort of issue.

"So, any volunteers for today?" He asked loudly. There was the usual crescendo of murmurs that sprouted from both groups, the teens understandably cautious against such strange proposition as blood imbibing.

Itsuka was quick to raise her hand, Setsuna following after it. They seemingly hadn't mentioned their previous session to their teachers, as neither had Izuku, always one to think the matter of blood consumption to be a private affair. The martial artist nodded to him, while her friend sent him a cheeky grin.

"Kendo, Tokage…anyone else?" Kan noted the names on a pad grasped on his hands, raising his head to see his students.

Another hand was raised up, the owner walking to the front of the group and joining the two girls' side. Jurota Shishida, following through with his statement from yesterday, kept a serious face as he stared at the vampire. The two kept their eyes locked on each other for a while, the vampire clenching his jaw shut and tightening his fists, the fur-covered teen hiding his hands behind his back.

Another pair of hands was raised, this time another duo of girls. There were a few complaining moans from the crowd from 1-B, mostly coming from the boys; not that that seemed to bother Yui Kodai and Reiko Yanagi, the girls joined the small group that was willing to donate some of their blood.

The vampire saw a small hand slowly and shakily be raised, only for it to quickly go down as a few hushed whispers echoed among the students from 1-B. He cast a slow gaze upon the group, noticing that many of the males were staring at him with serious and cautious eyes. Fair enough, they don't exactly know me well. He pondered, rolling his head a bit to stretch out the muscles and work out the kinks from his muscles. A soft crack popped from his neck, the vampire then focusing his eyes on his companions from 1-A.

There were many from his class whose blood he had already ingested, yet the majority of those that immediately jumped at the chance were of those very people. Todoroki, Tokoyami, Jirou, Yaoyorozu, and Uraraka; there were others too, much to the hemomancer's surprise: He saw Denki there, along with Mina, Kirishima, Iida, Tohru, Rikida, Tsuyu, and most surprisingly, Koda joined the group that seemingly had no qualms with gifting him some of their life essence.

The vampire and his teachers waited for a few more moments to any more eager participants, but those were the only ones that did present themselves. Eraserhead nodded to Vlad, the Blood Hero acknowledging him with a slow blink of his eyes.

"Very well, these numbers work fine. If anyone else changes their mind, do please first notice us before anything else." Aizawa then dismissed the groups, allowing those that wouldn't participate to return to their training. Tiger, Pixie-bob and Mandalay were quick to fetch the teens, but Ragdoll remained behind.

Aizawa and Vlad got the group of teens inside the lodge, getting everyone a seat before proceeding with things.

"Well, if you have any questions about this, now is the time to ask anything." His statement got a few immediate raised hands. "Reiko."

The silver-haired girl lowered her hand, her blue eyes staring fixedly at the vampire. "Will this require that you bite into our necks?" Her question brought a bit of tension among the teens, but the vampire seemed to be amused at her line.

He chuckled and shook his head. "No, there is no need for bites. So long as I can get it in my bloodstream, it matters not if I drink it or ingest it any other way." He explained, letting some blood seep from his right arm, tiny tendrils morphing into a few different shapes such as needles, drill bits and even faux-shaped maws.

The girl didn't express any reaction towards that, but the vampire could swear he saw a bit of disappointment flash in her eyes.

"I do, however, prefer ingesting via oral-consumption." Izuku added, getting Vlad King to send him a questioning look. "It is a personal preference, born from my quirk. I will respect however you see fit for me to ingest it."

Aizawa brought a suitcase that he had been carrying and set it on the coffee table. He opened it, revealing the contents to be what one could find in a medkit, but it also included many more items. "We have sterilized single-use hypodermic needles and vials. Anyone feels queasy seeing their own blood?"

Izuku still kept the blood covering his arm out. "My blood is immune to most diseases, but if you are afraid of it we can use the needles too."

Aizawa backed him up. "Midoriya's files are constantly being updated, which includes medical exams, so he is clean, that I can assure all of you."

Those from 1-A nodded, a few displaying nervous grins but still unchallenged in their effort to spare the vampire some warm life fluid. He felt his heart warm up at their gesture, promising himself to spare no effort in helping the development of their powers and any other skills that he could help with.

"Wait, Midoriya has consumed some blood from a few of us. Will that get in the way or influence something?" Todoroki questioned, remembering the second event from the school festival. He had requested that Iida recklessly charge at Izuku with his ultimate move – Recipro Burst – in an attempt to catch the vampire by surprise and steal his points. The outcome went rather poorly against them, but that was water under the bridge.

Yaoyorozu perked up. "Right, I do remember that happening in the past!" She glanced at the class's redhead. He grinned and did a gutsy pose.

Izuku shook his head, further letting blood cover his arm in red and pulling on a few quirk factors, especially of those that were already here. "I have cracked the genetic material behind your quirk-factors, true; however, getting more sample materials is always a good thing. I won't require much." He said, trying to keep his cheeks from rising up. In all honesty he didn't need any more of their blood to test anything, but he wasn't one to pass on the opportunity to ingest the crimson liquid; they did not understand the thrill of drinking blood, it was simply too good.

Aizawa kept his eyes on the vampire for a while, but opted to remain silent. Izuku noticed the stare, but seeing as his teacher didn't say anything, he proceeded.

Mina began rocking on the balls of her feet. "Alright, alright, there's too much talking and not enough action! Come on, people! We need this thing to work!" If the girl was nervous or scared of the procedure, she wasn't showing. If anything, her excitement seemed to be soaring high."It is not every day that you get bit by a vampire! Let's do this!" Her energy seemed to spread among the more reluctant of the groups.

"You are so manly!" Kirishima stated, although he recoiled a bit under the girl's returning glare at his phrase. After the hardening teen withered, she returned to her usual mood as if nothing had happened.

Izuku then saw the pink-skinned girl bounce on her feet until she was close to him. "Well, then Midori! Go ahead, bite me!"

The vampire had to control a growl from leaving his throat, the sweetness of such words terribly enticing; nonetheless, he managed to wrestle and maintain control of his mind.

"Excuse me then," The teen felt his power echo in his eyes and voice chords, but he help back as much of it as possible. He slowly moved his right hand to grasp Mina's arm and bring the limb to his mouth, but she pulled back, stunning the vampire and the group around them.

"Nah ah, mister! If we are doing this, I want the complete experience! You are a vampire, Midori! Neck bite!" She said petulantly, tapping at her neck with her left ring and pointer fingers almost as if explaining basic math to a child. The vampire exchanged looks with his homeroom teacher, wondering if there would be any problems.

Eraserhead seemed more content with draping himself inside his sleeping bag and lying on the floor, keeping his eyes on the teens, but not willing to interfere more than that. "So long as they agree and you ingest their blood, I don't care how you do it. Just be quick about it, you all still have to return to training." He drawled out, yawning and duly staring at the group, ready to active his quirk if need be.

Izuku sent a gaze to Vlad King, and while the man seemed to be a bit flustered by the situation, he didn't seem to be against the idea. "Let's just get this done quickly." He spoke in a defeated tone, sure that if he were to complain, Aizawa would just cut him out.

Mina cheekily smiled at him, the tilted her head to allow him easy access to her neck. "Go on, big boy!"

Normal colors began to lose their meaning and fade away, only various shades of red making up the vampire's sight as he licked his fangs, his mouth filled with a concoction of numbing saliva, blood-letting agents and a slight amount of poison, the mix glistening around his sharp canines. He lightly grasped Mina by her shoulders and slowly brought his maw close to her neck, his movements slow and measured to avoid spooking his classmates and their sister class volunteers. His fangs slowly pierced the pink flesh of Mina, the girl flinching a bit under the small pain, but also releasing a high-pitched yelp.

"Ohhhhh that is so strange! It feels prickly first, then cools down, then heats up nicely!" She stated, her hands grasping the vampire's shirt and bringing them even closer. Still, he began to slowly pull in her blood, taking a deep breath and filling his nostrils with her scent. Mina's lemony-scented shampoo teased his senses, but Izuku held firm in the face of temptation and began filling his mouth with her blood, lapping his tongue around her perforation wounds.

[Hohohohoho! Spicy! A bit sour, but this one has such a wild taste to her!]

[How magnificent! It is not every day that we delight in such exotic concoction of tastes! Can you feel the citric taste of her nectar?]

[Wait, this is…Would you look at that?! You naughty minx!]

Izuku pulled his fangs from the girl's flesh and held his head back, allowing the two mouthfuls of blood that he had accumulated to smoothly flow down his throat, his body absolutely brimming with energy. He forced the pleasuring sensation down, maintaining his breathing even to avoid displaying a strange sight to the people around them.

Ashido was lucky that she was facing him, else the groups would have seen the sight of her holding back a rather…expressive face. He allowed her to lean against him until she composed herself, the girl rapidly managing to do so to avoid giving her classmates any wrong impressions.

"Wow, that is an experience alright!" Mina casually joked, turning to her classmates and widely smiling at them. She ran a hand over the two perforations, noticing that they had already stopped bleeding. "What's that that you got in your spit, Midori?! It's almost like magic!" She noticed that her classmates all had different variations of the same expression. That expression was 'I have just witnessed something that I shouldn't have'.

The visitors from 1-B were not faring any better, the awkwardness of the situation making the pink-skinned girl flush a bit. Maybe it was not such good idea to get this sort of experience in front of everyone. She thought, noticing that Kirishima seemed to be one of the most affected, avoiding meeting her gaze with all his being while lightly leaning his torso forward. She had to clear the air, maybe a joke or something would do it.

"Your blood is quite potent, Ashido." Izuku spoke aloud, bringing the groups' attention upon himself. His eyes were red slits glimmering with power, his lips expressing a smile that bordered on cocky. "I'm working on digesting it right now, but it is something incredible." He explained, taking a deep breath. "Alright, who is next?"

Yaoyorozu and Kyouka exchanged glances, aware that the usually reserved Izuku now was morphing into the teasing version of himself. They both simultaneously took a step back, unwilling to be teased by him right now.

Reiko raised her hand as fast as she could.

Aizawa sighed. Teenagers…

"Sir Midoriya, I mean to say this in the nicest way possible," Jurota said as he presented his right hand for a shake. "You try to bite my neck, I'll rip your jaw and beat you with it." The fur-covered teen spoke in a calm tone, almost as if he hadn't threatened the vampire with tortuous and brutal violence.

Izuku grasped the other teen's offered hand and shook it firmly. "Jurota-san, right?" at the other teen's confirmative nod, Izuku continued. "If I ever state any desire to bite your neck and it isn't in a violent, blood-filled rage, then please, don't forget to twist my neck and break my arms." Izuku darkly joked, his eyes floodlights that shone with eldritch power. He displayed to Shishida a fang-filled grin, the violence that began to emanate from the teen suddenly stunning the other students in the room, most of whom which the vampire had already received some life fluid.

Shishida answered in kind, a low growl echoing along with a small cloud of steam from his maw. The two stared at each other, their hands firmly grasped while aggression flowed from their bodies like two tidal waves ready to destroy everything in their path. Izuku's exposed right arm bulged, veins popping along the length of his limb as he snarled at the other teen. Jurota's fur-covered arm was shaking, the limb threatening to expand with muscle-synthesis and cause a wreck in a flurry of rage and adrenaline. Vlad King had already summoned some blood to serve as a separation-sheet between the two, the hero looking to his fellow teacher as if to desperately ask for aid.

Aizawa kept quiet, merely staring at the situation with dull and uninterested eyes.

"AIZAWA!"

The teacher rolled his eyes. "Watch properly."

Vlad glanced at the teens, but he noticed that while the two were emanating great aggression, they had yet to launch into true violence. Which, considering the last time such a thing happened between the vampire and someone with a quirk that granted animalistic instincts, things hadn't gone pretty. Yet, here they were, merely staring into each other's eyes while displaying their fangs. Almost like predators sizing each other. Trying to intimidate the other into submission.

The two kept their staring competition for a while, hands locked together as if the faux display of calmness would fool anyone in the room. Vlad was about ready to intervene and forcefully separate the teens when the two released their handshake, Izuku rolling his head around Shishida crossed his arms and took a few deep, measured breathes.

"Impressive quirk, Jurota-san. I see that much like mine, it takes colossal amounts of willpower and restrain to effectively use it." Izuku commented, left hand holding his right one, the restrained limb clenching and relaxing, the claws that made the vampire's nails looking wickedly sharp. Jurota seemed to be in the same state, clenching his jaw while doing his breathing exercise.

"Indeed, Sir Midoriya; however, yours doesn't lack in anything when we put both to test. Much more than commendable mental strength sir, you have quite the iron will to withstand your trials." Jurota commented.

The onlookers around them were just about ready to try to restrain the two teens, the violent intent that had been emanated from them unlike anything many had felt before. Izuku looked at his classmates and shook his head.

"Don't worry, it was just a friendly word spat." He reassured them. His friends looked less than convinced with his words, but Shishida approached Izuku out of his volition and placed a hand on the vampire's closest shoulder in a friendly manner.

"Indeed, fellow students, it was naught but a bit of rough word outing. Now that we understand our primal desires, comradery is all but assured!" The fur-covered teen exclaimed, excitement spilling in his voice by the end of his sentence.

Izuku nodded. He took a sniff of the air around them and almost shuddered, sensing the blood that Kan had out.

Vlad kept a serious look on the teens, his blood a cloud-like mist behind him, just ready to move at his will. "I didn't see the blood transfer. How did you…"

Izuku closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Kan-sensei, do please return your blood to your body. It is distracting." He stated, licking his fangs a few times, feeling Shishida's hand on his shoulder tighten by the slightest margin.

"Please, Sir. It is quite the distraction indeed." Shishida scoffed through his nose, almost as if wishing to rid his nostrils of the scent. The request of his student had the teacher obliging, the man feeling a bit awkward now.

"But, if you could donate a bit too!" Izuku quickly pleaded, the look in his eyes a strange mix between hunger and childish pleading. Vlad sighed a bit, recollecting most of his blood, but leaving out about two full cups of blood floating in the air as an orb. He sent it directly in the vampire's mouth, feeling his own connection with the life fluid be extinguished the moment the crimson life liquid touched the saliva inside Izuku's mouth.

The teen's orbs were akin to two glowing floodlights. He slowly tasted the blood in his gullet, the sight a somewhat fantasy-like thing.

"That looks strangely intimate, doesn't it?" Mina whisper-asked Kyouka, seeing the punk rocker girl nod while touching her own neck, two puncture wounds at the base of her right shoulder being massaged with a tender touch.

"Spooky…" Reiko commented by her side, her eyes firmly staring at the vampire's moving Adam's apple, the rippling movement of his throat a sight that she seemed unwilling to lose a single second off.

"Mmmmm" Yui mirrored her.

"How are you feeling?" Aizawa asked, maintaining passive look on the vampire, seeing the teen stretch while outdoors, their current location the mountain that Izuku had previously mentioned.

Behind the teacher stood Shinsou, the teen awkwardly trying to hide his frame behind the man. Izuku had long noticed the [Brainwashing]-quirk user, but he figured it would be better for them to maintain their current space for now.

"I feel mostly full, but development of quirk-factors does take quite a bit of blood, so let's proceed with caution." The vampire commented, covering his arms with his usual [Blood Gauntlets].

"No [Thirst] pangs or homicidal feelings?" The teacher's sarcasm wasn't missed on the vampire, Izuku rolling his eyes at the jab and beginning to pull on his recently acquired quirk-factors, pushing their blood echoes to the back of his mind.

"Not yet, but do be ready to shoot me," He shot back, turning slightly to face his teacher with his fear-bringer gaze, noticing Shinso flinch behind Aizawa. "Just in case."

The teacher looked less than impressed, bored eyes dully focused on the vampire.

"You done?"

"Yes, sir."

Aizawa sighed tiredly. He then turned to his newest project. "Come on you too," He said, motioning for the purple-haired, sleep-deprived looking Hitoshi to follow. "If you are scared of him, you'll never accomplish much in your career." Aizawa's comment had the teen suck in air in a hiss, awkwardly looking to the stone ground.

"…yes, sir." A weak reply was all that he received.

"I'll let you work, Midoriya. Ragdoll will be close by, her quirk is quite suited to help you in your task. If you need anything, let her know; she will either help you or give me a call." Eraserhead explained while pointing to the radio attached to his hip.

Izuku nodded, staring at the wall of stone that stood in front of him. As the teacher was leaving, he managed to hear the last words of the vampire before he threw himself into training.

"Let's dance!"

Ragdoll watched the vampire from a small distance, the mountain terrain they were located not allowing for much hiding, meaning that she had little choice but just lean against a boulder and watch the teen go to town in his training, working on a variety of skills, tricks and quirk-attack combinations that made Tomoko wince in sympathy for any future villains that would fall prey of him.

The [Wild, Wild Pussycats] were a rescue-focused group, but they also had their fair share of combat experience, Tiger being their main front-liner with close support from Mandalay and long-range support from Pixie-Bob, Tomoko being the back-liner that provided intel. She was, much like Ryuko, getting on with her years; however, unlike the blonde, she wasn't desperate for a husband or kids.

Hero work was stressful as it was, adding upon that with a relationship didn't exactly seem appealing to her. Relaxation was good and personal relationships were encouraged by the HSPC, but the truth of the matter was that while getting a regular fling wasn't all that hard, getting into a proper relationship with a boyfriend took extreme effort (a husband then was almost a herculean task). Civilians had a glorified view of hero-work, many thinking it was all about the glory and the money, but most were terribly unware that heroics was hard on many other matters.

It was time-consuming, which in turn left little time for interpersonal leisure time; the price of "recognition" meant that you'd to always mind yourself, else slander was all but guaranteed from the media; that, and many other small things added up, and in a relationship those little things could make or break a couple. And that was only for a relationship via hero-civilian; relations in between fellow heroes were always the stuff of drama and scandals, be it infidelity, spousal abuse, or simple time-weathering that would result in catastrophic damage to the involved (and a fat chunk of content for media).

For those reasons and a few other reasons Tomoko was in the singles-club, enjoying the occasional date and fling here and there. Nothing serious, since she wasn't ready to become the group's second Mandalay. The weight of taking care for a kid was heavy, something that the 27-year old Ragdoll didn't feel ready to take on just yet. Who knows, maybe she might just become like Ryuko in a few years.

Still, she found herself pondering these difficult topics when looking at the vampire. Quite young lad, yet already carrying quite the burden on his back, as according to the file – shared by Eraserhead with them – Midoriya was already in the Public commission's list of potential flight risks, with the prospect of special recruitment down the line should he manage to keep a "clean figure" in the next few years. Nothing about that felt safe or good for his future, Tomoko thought; still, he seemed to be carrying himself with a jovial seriousness that she found endearing.

He could be serious when seriousness was demanded, and he could relax and joke around when the situation allowed. His looks weren't bad and if he kept at his current pace, she could see him becoming a rugged man; he didn't seem to be suited for the bishonen type (pretty boy/handsome) at all. All in all, she could see him becoming what her friend was so desperately looking for.

Maybe if she begs enough, he might take her in! She chuckled in her head, seeing the vampire stop his training for a moment. Curiosity took over and she get a bit closer, the stealth training she'd been drilled with taking over; she pinged her quirk, using the secondary aspect to prod around for weaknesses on his current frame.

It was a rather interesting thing about her quirk, [Search]. Many thought it to be a simple thing, similar to sonar tech. That wasn't an incorrect summary of it, but it was incomplete. Her power didn't just allow her to sense things in her surrounding like a bat, but it also gave her a sense for the weaknesses of her target. If she focused solely on one person, her quirk would give her many details about such weakness; it was one of the reasons she took to stealth training and quirk analyses, in efforts to fill a niche for her group much like the others did. She wasn't really strong as Tiger or versatile as Mandalay, or a summon specialist like Pixie-Bob, but she was useful in her own way.

Izuku called upon a newly acquired power, Tomoko sensing an immediate weakness in his core, as if he was losing too much blood. The aura around him became a violent, vicious thing. He seemed to be tensing his muscles extremely hard, and – much to her immediate surprise – the life fluid burst from his shoulders and back in a rather extreme display of gore. It was almost like a bomb had exploded in his bloodstream. It showered his back, encasing him instead of falling to the ground.

It immediately compressed and hardened, the woman wearing her cat-themed costume fascinated by the bizarre beauty of the display. Darkness marred the crimson, dyeing it as waves and waves of aggression rolled from the vampire, Tomoko feeling shivers running down her neck and back.

He suppressed a howl as best as he could, but it still reached her, the noise awakening her from her stupor, her quirk warning that the current weakness that he displayed was [Lack of control]. She widened her eyes, immediately suppressing her presence.

Another growl reached her ears, Tomoko palming her radio to call Aizawa to suppress the teen. Before she grabbed the device, a figure appeared before her in a black misty haze, a gauntlet-clad hand firmly securing her limb before she could radio in for assistance. She slowly lifted her gaze up, her yellow orbs widely staring at the student before her.

Blood covered him and had hardened into tight-fitting armor, his lower face hidden by a form-fitting mask that resembled a metallic respirator. His eyes glimmered with red light, eldritch whispers echoing in her ears, tempting her to give in and dive into the crimson river that was his presence. She felt her own blood pound in her ears, suddenly finding out that her body temperature felt like it was several degrees higher than what she was used to (or socially comfortable with).

The mask split open with a hiss of air, and parted in the middle, the slots of red, solid blood sliding back to reveal the teen's face. His mouth was formed into a tight line, lips quivering, threatening to open and reveal a maw filled with dagger-like teeth. He seemed to be mouthing out words, but she couldn't hear them, the drumming that pounded in her ears deafening her to his words. He seemed to notice it and closed his eyes, much to her confusion. She wanted to stare into the slit orbs, to bathe and bask under the light that shone from them, to indulge in the musk of his scent.

The eldritch whispers soon receded, Tomoko noticing that her heated body was slowly (as if refusing to) cooling down. She blinked owlishly at him, noticing that his previously firm hold of her hand was reduced to a lingering touch, her intent long forgotten. She almost leaned against his frame, but soon her mind faculties seemed to catch up and she jumped up, one cat-glove shooting to grab his own gauntlet-clad limb and hold it in a restraining manner.

"You!" It was all she could say, her face flushed while she maintained a hold of his limb.

The vampire now was the one stunned into wordlessness. He could wretch his limb away, but let it remain in Tomoko's grasp. She could see him lick his fangs, buying some time to figure out how to explain what had just happened. In the end, he answered with a single:

"Yes?"

Ragdoll was still distraught with the situation, exclaiming once more.

"You!"

Izuku once more answered.

"Yes."

"You!?"

"Yes, this is Izuku."

Tomoko huffed and let go of his arm.

"Midoriya Izuku, what just happened?!" She questioned in a hurried manner, hoping that her tone sounded intimidating enough. Hopefully she would have enough time to recompose herself and he wouldn't notice her weak legs.

The vampire sucked in air with a hiss, looking to the side with shame. "…I ran a bit amok while testing something." He tried to whisper, but the short distance between the two allowed Tomoko to hear him loud enough.

Her left hand shot towards the vampire's face, but instead of a smack or a slap, the cat claws expertly clenched around the face armor that protected his ear. She pulled him closer to the boulder that she was previously hiding behind and only released him once she leaned against it, crossing her arms in her best display of anger possible given the circumstances and sent him her best glare.

It might have had the contrary effect on him of what she was expecting, but he wasn't going to say that. Nonetheless, he knew he was wrong here, so he lowered his frame, sitting in seiza in front of the woman.

She kept her glare (or what she called such look in her eyes) for a few moments, taking the time to even out her breathing pattern and calm her rapidly beating heart. Her (cute) anger began to fade, Ragdoll managing to compose herself. "Now, care to explain, please?"

Izuku almost glanced up, but then he realized that his sitting position and their short distance put him almost at the perfect angle to get a peek at what lay underneath the frilly fabric of Tomoko's skirt. He gulped, aware that should he lower his head he might sound insincere, but their current situation might grant him the sight that might break the fragile hold that he had on the [Beast Within].

[Hmmm, the dilemma, right, master?]

[Power is flowing through us; a small, experimental use of such can be forgiven, right? It was merely a blunder.]

Cackling echoes rang in his mind, but he ignored the strengthened influence of his inner tenant for now and reinforced the cage that held it at bay. Ragdoll was still waiting for an answer.

"I finished digesting the new quirk-factors and was trying them out." He managed to keep his head up, but his eyes were traitorously running up and down Tomoko's supple and trained body. She either didn't seem to notice or was unbothered by it, but Izuku wished her reactions would be a bit more…negative, else… "One of the more animalistic ones got the better of me for a moment and began to compound a combination." He explained.

Tomoko kept her eyes on him, half-listening to his explanation. She was busier trying to calm her mind now, her rationale screaming at her for the thoughts that had been born during the altercation. What, was she starved like Ryuko and wasn't noticing it? Still, she had to at least maintain a façade of professionalism.

"*Ahem*, and what was that combination?"

"[Beast's Embrace] was what I obtained from Jurota-san's quirk and it was what [True Ancestor] took and ran amok. I have it under control now." He explained, aware of how it sounded greatly incomplete and half-assed.

Ragdoll took a few more minutes to (pretend to) absorb the information, running and checking it with what she knew about the mentioned teen. "Are you sure?"

He nodded, taking a deep breath and slowly pulling the armor inside him. The solid parts began to liquefy and slowly, but surely the crimson fluid seeped inside his skin. "I won't allow it such mistake to happen again." He tried to muster all the conviction possible to sound as reliable as he could. Ragdoll finally smiled, tension all but released from her.

"I'll hold you to that promise, Midori-kitten. That was bad for my heart!" She spoke in a jovial manner, laughing nonchalantly in a manner that he could only describe it as Ragdoll's. It soothed his heart.

[How melodramatic, master. Just embrace us, and then embrace her already. She is eager, you got her scent, right?]

He ignored the remark in favor of standing up, sending her a slight smile.

[…the scent of a bitch in heat!]

His teeth clacked as his jaw shifted in place, making the previously simple smile turn into a physically crooked thing, the sound echoing loud enough that Tomoko heard it and sent a questioning glance at him.

"Nothing, just cracking a joint, is all." He managed to speak through his teeth.

"If you say so." She shrugged, leaving her leaning post and walking towards the lodge. "I'll switch with Tiger, just keep the training to a reasonable pace until he reaches here, okay?"

The vampire nodded in acknowledgement, biting the inside of his mouth as Ragdoll turned and began a light jog. His eyes lowered to her behind, hidden by the bouncing frilly skirt that he so desperately wished to rip off and have a look under… Ice-cold blood ran in his veins and curbed the influence of the [Inner Beast], a yelping groan echoing in his mind.

The teen sighed. "Behave more erratically, why don't you?"

His answered was a muted huff echoing in his mind, followed by words that got him into deep thought.

[Continue to cope and seethe, master! Deny us all you want, and continue to call us the darkness inside. Cooperation would be in your best interest, we want nothing more than completion. However, you are free to dread it; to run from it all you want; our destiny will arrive and once it does, you shall realize the foolishness of your negation.]

Shut it, your cryptic bullshit annoys me daily. He countered, finally earning the sweet silence of his thoughts and the white noise hum of his blood flowing through his veins. He got his guns from his shadows and began loading the magazines, wishing to train something that wasn't his quirk.

However, the sentient blood that ran in his veins wasn't finished. Not until it delivered the final message.

[We tire of your loathsome and pointless crusade against you yourself, master. We are masters of life and death, blood is our domain and ours is the will to control it. We were born of the blood, have been made man by the blood, and maybe will meet our end in blood.]

[Yet we are not vileblood, neither are we maddened beast. You should fear the Old Blood that hunts the world and stalks the night, creating mindless beasts whose only satisfaction is obeying the call of the Old Blood! We should become stronger, bathe in their blood and hunt their kind until there is no more!]

[A hunter must hunt, and so should we! Until the Old Blood is nothing but a nightmare! A Bad Dream that only we shall know of]

Izuku was shook so bad he had to kneel, so intense was the pressure of the life fluid that pumped in his veins. He clenched his teeth in anger, but his tenant answered nothing more, his blood just flowing at his beckoning call.

"...dammit."

AU END NOTES

Nothing much for now too. I tried to expand on the plot while also sprinkling some humor into it. A little bit of this, a little bit of that! You know, For Academic Purposes!

How did it go? I did have a few other points to make, but they are best suited to the following chapter. Speaking of following chapters, I am working on chapters for Shield Hero and the Pokemon story, but Blood God takes all the creativity and power without my consent and just makes me write words.

How fitting, right? Well, enough meandering and empty words! See you, Ryujin Maou out!

PS: Suggestions are always – I REPEAT, ALWAYS – welcomed in my reviews, as you all are the reason I keep this grind! Thanks for taking time to read my trash.
