Authors Note:
I have written fanfiction for over a decade now, and there has been an incredible amount of highs and lows in my life. I signed up on the incredible website all the way back in 2013 and have loved every moment despite life throwing its challenges at me. I lost family to horrible circumstances and struggle with it every day, I have struggled with depression for nearly 5 years yet I have the most incredible partner in my life. I miss writing, it brings me peace but I put too much pressure on myself and burn out and disappear for months and years. But I am also an adult with responsibilities and commitments and writing hasn't been able to be my priority.
Now that out the way, what is this story and what is happening with other stories. My other stories are abandoned but they are on a slight hiatus, I've been putting to much pressure on trying to continue them that I have a block when it comes to writing them now, but Diamond Eyes and Cursed Child will be continued.
So what is Legend of Perseus? This is a crossover between Perseus Jackson and Avatar the Last Airbender which I have been inspired to write by some incredible works in the crossover community. I want to give each of these stories a shoutout because thanks to them I have a spark to write again.
Those stories are;
Percy Jackson & The Sapphire Flame by Silas-the-Sith-05
The Legend of Percy: Book 1 & 2 by LookingUpTheStars
Avatar: The Legend of Perseus by JkAlex
Carry on my Wayward Son by Greed720
Percy and the Princess by Benthatguy
I wanted to give each of them a shout out so they all can get recognition for their incredible works and for inspiring me to write again

The Legend of Perseus: Bender of Oceans
Chapter 1: A Tapestry is Woven
Sally was writhing in agony. The pregnancy had been difficult enough as is. But carrying the son of a god who was already brimming with power even before birth had slowly destroyed her from the inside. She had resigned herself to such a possible fate early on in her pregnancy. She knew the oath her love had taken. She understood the severity of such an oath, and was more than aware how powerful the oath keeper was truly capable of being.
She was dying. Sally could feel herself withering away in the cold sterile room. The overpowering white lights blinding her. Drugs rampaging through her body, attempting to relieve the pain but brought nothing but liquid fire pumping through her veins.
Every slower, weakened breath Sally could feel herself deteriorate further. She lost understanding of the panicked doctors and nurses long ago. The pain was too loud.
Her vision was slowly darkening. Fuzzy spots danced in her sight and the chasm of death was threatening to swallow her. She pushed one last time with every last ounce fiber in her being. She succumbed to the darkness, but not before hearing the faintest of cries from her born. She may have been passing away, but she was at peace knowing her son had lived.
As the light in her eyes died a figure watched on broken hearted. Invisible to the hospital staff all around him. He was a man tall in stature and regal in feature. He had dark hair, and sun kissed skin. The man's emerald green eyes were a maelstrom of emotions, ever changing like a storm at sea. He had seen his lover die, and he was unable to do anything to help her or their son lest the god face the wrath of the oathbreaker or his brother.
An overwhelming heartbreak flooded the man and before he could conjure a storm to release his emotions a voice whispered stealing his attention.
"You can still save him from the inevitable."
"Who are you and what are you doing here." The god demanded.
"Poseidon I am Ananke, mother to the Moirai, I wish to save your son from their cursed tapestries."
"Forgive me my lady, but that is impossible-" Poseidon started but was quickly integrated.
"It is not. There is a world similar to us but across dimensions. It is in desperate need of a hero and your son can be that person." Ananke began to explain.
"My lady-" Poseidon tried to intervene.
"Do not interrupt me. Be rational Poseidon. You know your sons fate should he stay, destined to a life of misery, pain, heartbreak and death. My daughters are cruel to their playthings but they have no control over this land. He can grow up free from the prophecy, outwith the control of fate and in charge of his own destiny." Ananke spoke with a calm authority.
"Will I ever get to see him" The god considered.
"It is possible. There are places with great spirituality that can transcend dimension even for brief moments. However it is highly unlikely. He will grow up in this world, away from the pain that awaits him here, but will still have a journey of trials and tribulations. I foresee him growing old, finding love, and passing on his legacy. That adventure will be a difficult one however."
"Tell me about this world Lady Ananke." The Gods heart was broken beyond repair, but the possibility of his son having a long life lit him with warmth.
"The world is split into four different nations, based on the four fundamental elements, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. The Earth nation are a hardy people, with the ability to control the earth itself. The water nations live at the poles, and are a resourceful people who can control water. The fire nation are proud and technological people, they have control over fire. The air nomads are spiritual people, who bring no harm to those around them and are in tune with nature. They have been gifted with power over air. War has been raging was decades, and the avatar who can control over all 4 elements has been missing for far to long." Ananke explained with calming wisdom.
"My son, where will he live?" Poseidon explained, worry evident on his face.
"I am unable to give you that answer just yet, Posiedon. What I can say is you don't need to worry about your son. I truly believe he is capable of being more powerful than any elemental bender that walks. But you need to give him your blessing to let him cross the rift. Great destruction will come to this world on your son's twenty-first birthday, but he will save them all. I truly believe this." Ananke avoided the question.
'My lady-"
"Poseidon, we are running out of time, make a decision." Ananke demanded.
"Perseus I give you my blessing to make this journey. You are the son of the oceans, bringer of storms, and the earth shaker. You are more powerful than you could ever know. I am sorry. I love you." Tears fell from his emerald green eyes.
He blinked hurriedly and as his vision cleared the goddess and his son had vanished. The mortals moved on as nothing had happened, Sally had started being wheeled out of the room. He lost two people he loved today and his grief began to weigh on him like the entire ocean was dropped upon him.
With Ananke in Tartarus
The Goddess held the newborn in her arms. He was wrapped in cloth and she held him close in the toxic wastelands of Tartarus. She stood at the steps of an Ancient Arch. One that was capable of transcending dimensions. She gazed at the newborn and could feel the swathes of power that were bundled in the embodiment of innocence.
"I don't understand how, but I foresee you controlling more than just water. I do not know how powerful you are truly capable of being, but I do know you will change this world for good." Ananke murmured to herself.
She took a moment to write a note explaining the child and his ability to bend water. She knew where she was planning to drop him off. In the hands of a noble and honorable man who would raise the child in the true ways of a warrior. She just could allow Poseidon to know his son would not be raised with water bending kin…
The rift cracked open and the Goddess rushed to set the newborn through, taking him to a whole new world.
Shu Jing (82 AG)
A brilliant ornate castle stood upon a rocky cliff face overlooking the swirling ocean below. Its white stone glimmered in the moonlight and the wind stood quietly still. A nobleman in silk robes and his attendant walked the grounds of the magnificent castle, an easy quiet between them as they wandered.
The peace was broken as they came upon the view of one of the cliff edges. A newborn baby wrapped in white cloth had let go off the tiniest cry that that grasped the nobleman's attention.
"Master there's a child?' The butler questioned in confusion.
The nobleman walked over and gently lifted the newborn. He could sense that the child had great power. There was an aura that seemed to encapsulate the baby.
"There's a note…" the Nobleman whispered. 'The boy is called Perseus, his mother died in childbirth. He is a water bender, a son of the ocean. He has great potential and can bring balance to the four nations. Please take care of Perseus, raise him as your own, the world needs him…' He read silently in his mind.
'Fat let's bring the boy inside."
