Dust Cafe is now in the grand opening in Vale. Thanks to Sun's suggestion, Teams RWBY, JNPR and SSSN are working as waiters for the cafe to find jobs for the summer.
"This cafe with the additions of band performances is amazing! Sun, you're the best!" Ruby squealed as she uses her speed to wash the dishes and bake goods such as croissants, muffins and cakes. Then serving to the customers. "Thank you, come again!"
Sun is serving as a sign holder. "Totally! I am so glad the Ice Queen agrees with me for once!" He agrees, spinning the sign and catching it to get the attention from customers.
Of course it works, mostly at the girls attracted to him. Sun winks at them, and the female customers giggled.
"Okay, one vanilla latte, no sugar. One Matcha Latte with oat milk. Anything else?" Blake asked. She and the others are wearing uniforms. Blake is the only one with a purple bandana to cover her cat ears.
"No ma'am. Thank you." The customer replied.
At the back of the cafe, Weiss is checking for shipments for packets of insta coffee, ground coffee, flavor syrups and flour bags.
"Okay, 14,000 bags of 24.2 ounces of ground coffee, 5,000 jars of instacoffee. And 700 Lbs of All-purpose flour. 12,000 of sugar packets." She is checking on her check list to get ready for the day.
"Hey, Ice Queen." Yang said approaching her along with Sage after being called for the task.
"Yang, Sage, just the two brawns I need." Weiss greets.
"Anything you need?" Asked Sage.
"Sorry to call on short notice, but we got like a load of boxes for the cafe. But we are still serving tbe customers in the mean time. Think you two can carry those boxes inside?" Weiss asked.
"Sure thing." Sage nods.
"Sure is better than being at the counter all day. I could use a work out." Yang slammed her fist into her palm. "Alright, see you guys in a few minutes." Weiss nods and goes back to check on the process of the results.
Yang and Sage look at each other.
"Finally, something to lift for this job. What do ya say? Lifting contest?" Yang asked. Wanting to challenge him to the contest of strength. Sage then lifts up 10 boxes.
"Yang, there's no competition when we're in the middle of work." Sage disagrees. But Yang didn't listened and stacks up 20 boxes in her arms over her shoulder. Then she hums as if she were the winner already.
Sage sighs as he continues onwards.
Yang came back to see Sage carrying 40 boxes. Her eyes glowed in lilac color as she picks up 60. Then runs passed Sage.
Sage then wasted no time to pick up more of the boxes, 80 of them. In another row, Yang brings 100 boxes.
Both of them had their uniforms sweating all over. Until the both of them became tired.
They returned to the cafe after their shift is over. Sage slumped his head on the counter table. Yang rested her head on the booth table.
Suddenly, they heard Weiss talking to Nora. "Nora, I didn't give you the task to carry those boxes." Weiss told Nora. But she is just too happy to care as she is in front of thousands of boxes.
"I know, but it feels so much fun to lift a bunch of boxes! I could use a really good workout to get out of waiting the tables a bit." Nora said as she jumps up and sat on top of the boxes. Yang and Sage's mouths were dropped as they saw her. They felt as if they had lost to Nora in the competition.
"Well, at least we got all the packages in order. Keep up the great work, Nora." Weiss told her after checking the list.
"Sure thing, boss!" Nora jumps off and drinks her cinnamon latte as a reward for herself. "Ah, good coffee." She sighs. Yang and Sage groaned as a response to this loss.
