Neptune is excited for a New Years Party. After it took him days to find a gift for someone special to him. He found it. A small gift box in dark blue wrapping paper and a silver ribbon.

"Finally. After all the trouble I have to do hunting Grimm, I finally got a present for my Snow Angel." Neptune sighed happily as he could not help but daydream a moment where he got onto his knees to present a gift to Weiss.

"Neptune, I love it!"

But that dream was cut short when a young man with dark-blue hair, wearing a red dress-shirt and black vest. He must be very rich. And To Neptune's shock, he also a a simolar gift box with Weiss' name on it.

"What the? That copycat!" Neptune snarled. To think he wouldn't have any love rivals. That guy was one of them. Then a bodyguard snatches the gift box from Neptune and threw it at a pile of snow.

"Hey!" Neptune yelled.

"One-sided, doofus! The SDC heiress is gonna say yes to me!" Said the young man.

"Mr. Marigold, the limo is ready." Said the bodyguard said. Henry Marigold is the Heir of Marigold Industries that is in collaboration with the Schnee Dust Company.

Neptune wasted no time to retrieve the gift from the snow pile. And wasn't going to let Henry win the battle. All he wanted was to make his Snow Angel happy.

Neptune waved in front of the road. And a motorcycle rider offers him a rode to Dust Cafe.

Just as Henry is enjoying what he thinks is a victory, a motorcycle passed by fast and Neptune waved woth a smirk. "Later!" Henry is not pleased and called the police for high-speeding.

The police stopped the biker and Neptune as they were fined with a ticket. Henry proceeds to head on to the cafe for the party. Good thing Neptune saved enough to pay for the ticket. "Happy New Year, officers!" Neptune waved as he ran towards the path.

"Finally, some peace and quiet...huh?" Henry paused when he was stopped when thr limo accidently crashed onto a construction area sign with blocks of wood beams tipping over. Now it is Henry's turn to pay the fine. "Argh!"

Neptune rented a scooter to catch up. While Henry is stuck near the construction sight. Henry makes one last call to pull a trick again.

This time a man in a helmet and hood pours water on the road to froze it in ice. Neptune slips with the scooter. But he landed on bags of recycled objects. Then Henry passed him in the limo again.

"Not cool, dude!" Neptune shouted at the heir. Henry ignored him and head on.

At the Dust Cafe, Weiss is finished decorating for the party as a thanks to her friends for the support for the cafe.

"Yes, the catering is finished. Now everyone is here except..." Weiss was cut off when she heard a cough. "Ahem." She turned to see Henry Marigold. "What now, Marigold? I told you time and again that..."

"Please, Miss Schnee. Before you say anything. I want to give this to you as..." Just as Henry opened the box, Weiss yelped in disgust to see what is inside the box. "What...is...that?!"

"What? It's a necklace. A fitting jewel for an heiress." Henry tried to put the emerald, plastron necklace on Weiss. But she refuses by pushing him out of the way.

"N...O... No. That doesn't suit me at all. I hate green!" Weiss rebuked.

"Sorry, I'm late, Snow Angel." Neptune came in late. All that matters to him was that he can give her a present.

"Neptune, glad you can make it." Weiss smiled, her cheeks painted pink. Neptune then gives Weiss the gift box. "Happy New Year, Weiss." Weiss then takes the gift without hesitation.

Weiss gasped as her eyes lit. "No...way!" It was a Proto-Wrench TX-5. Which is what she wanted to help upgrade her weapon. "A Proto-Wrench TX-5?! Neptune, I love it!" Weiss hugs Neptune as he hugs back.

"I overheard how much you wanted that tool very much. So I went on a mission with a high pay. Though it was deadly. It was totally worth fighting a King Taijitu." Neptune explains.

"Aw, Neptune, you didn't have to do that. But for what is worth, it's the thought that counts." Weiss told him. Seeing her smile is worth the effort for Neptune.

Henry on the other hand, is deadpanned at the sight of Weiss liking what it seems to be a simple tool. "A wrench?! My gift has been rejected over a stupid wrench?!" Henry shouted in humiliation. He fell to his knees in defeat.

Feeling bad, the others decided to invite him to join the party. Neptune gives him a cup of hot chocolate. Weiss nods looking at this. Just wanting everyone to celebrate in peace. And for that, Henry decide to give up for tonight and join the party.

While Neptune was seeing everyone dancing to the music, he was taken by surprise when Weiss gives him a kiss on the cheek. Neptune blushed, but felt joy.
