This is my first fanfiction, and how about I start it off with some personal thoughts, ideas and feelings. Every chapter will be a little oneshot about a headcannon about the Fairy Tail crew. This will be light hearted (mostly) and very Natsu centric. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Dragon Snuggles

It is no secret that the infamous Natsu Dragneel loves to sleep with Lucy. Every night he sneaks into the appartement and places himself in her bed. When morning comes, Natsu is often on the receiving of a very painful (and kind of weak) 'Lucy Kick'.

Today was not one of those days, and instead Ms. Heartfillia slept nearly till noon without the dragon slayer disturbing him.

"Auuaaagh!" She yaws, rising up into a slit of yellow coming from between her blinds "It's been a while since I got such a good sleep! Normally Natsu would have woke me up but not today! Today..."

She paused, it felt odd to not have her best friend (sorry Levy) invading her personal space. Over the past several years, she had gotten used to having his warmth and morning energy. Hell, when the guild disbanded 3 years ago and she got a job working under Jason of Sorcerer Weekly, she oftentimes would get reprimanded for being late because Natsu was not there to wake her up.

Lucy waked over to her wardrobe, picked a rather tight outfit, grabbed her belt and keys and left for the guild hall.

When she arrived there were some greetings from her fellow guild mates "Morning Lu-chan!" (Levy). "You're here late huh?" (Mira). "Flame-brains' not with you?" (Grey).

"Morning Levy-chan!" She called out to her literacy friend "Yeah, Natsu wasn't in my bed this morning so I slept in."

"..."

Most of the main cast went silent, sans the members who were not around during the younger years.

"SHIT!" Grey cried, holding his head in panic "WE NEED TO FIND DRAGNEEL NOW!"

"Grey your clothes"

"NO TIME FOR THAT CANA WE NEED TO FIND FLAME BRAIN!"

"GREY IS RIGHT! LISANNA, ELFMAN WITH ME!"

The search group sprinted out the guild, leaving poor Kianna to man the bar, and a dumbfounded Lucy at the door.

"Can someone explain why they went so crazy?"

A large resounding sigh was heard from multiple of the longer-standing members.

"Alright Lucy," Macao started "When Natsu first arrived at the guild, he was not used to sleeping without huddling with his dragon." He paused to sip his mug. "So, at night he would always go to someone's house and flop into the bed with them."

"I don't follow, what is so important about this?"

"Thing is Lu-chan" Levy continued "He never grew out of it, only decided some places were not worth risking his life for. I remember the night after he beat Jet and Droy for me," The two boys shivered at the memory, "He came to my room. I didn't notice until morning when I felt oddly comfortable in bed. Then I noticed him sleeping right beside me," Ganjeel's face had a shadow over its' eyes, "Erza came in to wake me up and..."

Lucy nodded, knowing the infamous Titania's way of punishing.

"Ooooh, that was such a good memory! I got to get a test subject for my Wood Make: Egg Cracker!"

Everyone looked at Laki with either fear (men) or awe (women).

"Anyways, this doesn't explain why the Strauss's and Grey-san freaked out about Natsu-san" Wendy spoke up.

"Well...sleeping with someone helps keep his nightmares in check."

"..."

"WHAT!" The newer members cried.

"Yeah, if he is doing a proper nights rest, not passing out, without external bodily warmth he tends to shiver and sweat."

"Wait, hold on, Salamander gets nightmares?" Ganjeel asks, "and furthermore he needs a human pillow to help him through them?"

"Mmmhmmm..." Levy drew out, "We learned this when everybody managed to get their houses Natsu-proof..."

"Wait how? He can break into my apartment no matter what I do!" Lucy shouts.

"Lu-chan, all you have to do is have a visible picture of Erza, it will usually ward him off."

The blonde deadpanned, never had she ever heard something so ridiculous yet smart at the same time! She made a mental note to get the largest photo of the Scarlet mage possible.

"Back to the story, he didn't have Happy back then so he really could only sleep on his own," Levy stares at the doors, "It took us a while but it turns out he straight up didn't sleep for a few days."

"I mean, I would have let him stay in my bed, he was ripped even back then."

"CANA! YOU'RE DRUNK!"

"Heh, no I'm no. Watch."

The card mage attempted to stand up, before her legs gave out and promptly collapsed on the floor.

The guild was silent for a while before Macao decided to continue.

"I let him sleep at my place for a while, as the missus didn't mind. Luckily Happy was born a few days later and he could sleep in peace."

Lucy sat on a nearby chair, she never would have expected that her best friend had these problems. She had always thought that he just liked her scent like he said.

"Wait, not all of us have Natsu proof doors, what about Ganjeel and 'Random Male Member'."

"They smell bad compared to you Luce"

The doors were opened and there stood...Laxus, with Natsu on his back and Happy on his head. Behind were the Strausses, the Thunder Legion and Grey.

"Laxus! Where was this little bugger!" Wakaba called.

"This bastard dared to disturb Laxus-sama's sleep."

"Calm down Freed," Laxus says, setting Natsu down and stretching, "I'm sure the old brat has a good reason, do you Natsu."

The boy nodded, before saying, "I smelled the anti-ethernano particles on you yesterday. Wanted to make sure you didn't die in your sleep."

The whole guild stared, it seemed too intelligent for the flame-brain yet also something only he would do.

"Anyways, he's not dead and I'm starving! Kianna, could I get the brunch feast!"

So the rest of the day at Fairy Tail went normally, lots of drinking, teasing, gossip and a brawl that started for who knows why occurred.

Lucy decided against getting that photo.

After all, she also needed the dragon snuggles.

How was it? Please review and pointout any mistakes. Little hint of NaLu at the end there.

Anyway, I first came up with this idea of "what if Natsu remembered being E.N.D but as usual, it only came up in dream" and so I gave it to be the reason of his obsessiveness of Lucy's apartment.
