The shallow light of the moon above was merely a front for the bloodshed underneath, countless corpses strewn about, familiar faces young and old. Standing in the middle of this bloodbath was one man, his blond hair drenched in the crimson, and an exhausted look upon his face.
"Hokage-sama!" Suddenly an ANBU black ops appeared behind the man kneeling, their cracked mask showcasing the magnitude of this entire ordeal. "The east checkpoint has fallen…"
"...Sasuke?" The blond haired Hokage asked, in which the ANBU agent simply shook his head.
"Dead, my lord."
"..." For a moment, the Hokage didn't answer, continuing to stand there in silence. Finally, after a moment, a sigh escaped his lips. "Then it's time."
"You mean…?" The Hokage nodded, causing the ANBU agent to slowly nod. "A jujutsu this powerful, one to reset the entire world…Surely it comes at a price?"
"Of course it does…Yet, what choice do I have? The village is destroyed, and all my friends and family are dead! My failures got me this far, and I'll pay that price." The Hokage looked up at the barely illuminated sky, before pulling a scroll out from his pocket and opening it up.
"The scroll of the Seven deadly Jutsus…A scroll that will allow the user to cast whatever jutsu they desire…"
"Yet at the cost of the user succumbing to the jutsu's themselves, from having an appetite for coin no matter the size of their pocket; to wherever the nicest and largest gourmet in the world can't satisfy your hunger." Placing the scroll down onto the ground, the Hokage slashed open his thumb and drew the symbol on the scroll, before placing his hands together. "It was an honor to serve as your Hokage. I hope in this new world…You and your family can find peace, Mitsuki."
The Hokage referred to the ANBU agent by their real name, Mitsuki, a kind older man who had been forced out of retirement by this war that was slowly engulfing all of Konoha. Reaching up and removing their mask, a tear slid down their eye before they nodded. "The same to you, Naruto-sama."
With a solemn nod, Naruto looked down at the school and quickly performed the handsign over it. For a moment, nothing happened.
Then…
The world went white.

…
It felt like a dream.
Naruto could see, hear and even speak, yet he didn't feel like he was in his physical body. All the aches and pain of war had vanished, replaced with almost a feeling of calm that washed over him. He continued to float for a time, though how long it may have been was entirely lost upon his mind.
After however long had passed, a booming voice soon echoed out. "Naruto Uzumaki, seventh Hokage of Konoha! You have called upon us to deliver upon you a single wish, is that correct?"
"...Yeah." It took a moment for Naruto to speak, almost as if he had to remember how to.
"And you are aware of the price you have to pay?"
"More or less…I have to pay the burden of having one of the seven deadly jutsus forced upon me." The booming voice didn't immediately respond, taking an unknown amount of time before replying.
"Your wish is to reset the world, back to before you were Hokage. Such a wish is possible, although you are ignorant to the price you must pay." Naruto attempted a motion as if to tilt his head, urging the voice to continue. "Yet you are not the only ignorant one, almost every human who uses this scroll makes this mistake. Perhaps it's what our creator wished for? Or, is it fate? In the end, does it truly matter?"
"...What's the real price then?"
"Your soul, a thousand years of endless torment before it can finally pass on. In exchange, the full power of the jutsus will not be a curse upon you, rather a gift. A gift to remake the world as you see fit, to avoid the war that devoured your village."
"Remake…?" Naruto said with curiosity, though any further inquiry would suddenly be ignored.
"Make your decision now, Naruto Uzumaki. Do you wish to return to your world where everything was destroyed because of your actions yet you may peacefully return to the afterlife…Or do you wish to accept our powers, and change the world to avoid its destruction…In exchange, for thousand years of endless torment after you pass."
That was an easy enough decision for Naruto.
Even if he had to suffer.
Even if he never made it to the afterlife.
He always put his friends first.
"I accept! Bring me back to when I had first become a genin! And even if I'm never Hokage again, let me save it from evil!"
Mere seconds after Naruto spoke.
He was in bed.
Specifically, he was in the bed of his old apartment building that he used to live in. He blinked a couple of times before he raised his hand, looking it over. It was most definitely younger, the scars of battle long gone, replaced by youthful scratches.

"I'm back…" Naruto muttered under his breath, staying perfectly still on his bed. Konoha was perfectly fine, and if this was when he first became a genin, that meant even the Old Man was still around as Hokage. "Well, if this is the first day I'm a genin…Guess that means I have to report to Kakashi-sensei…"
Naruto said with a hint of a nostalgic smile, pushing himself up onto the side of his bed. He had many things to plan for, not only including the evil that destroyed him and the village, but other things such as Orchimaru's attack, Gaara, The Akatsuki, the-
"Going somewhere, Mr Naruto?" Naruto suddenly stopped what he was doing, quickly looking up to the corner of his room where the voice spoke.
"What? Who are you…?" Naruto said with a hint of distrustfullness, yet the voice merely laughed before stepping forward. Upon doing so, they revealed themselves to be…"Y-You're…"
"...Physically, this is the form of Haku, the mist swordsman you fought on one of your very first missions as a genin. However, this form was merely assumed based on your memories. In reality, you may call me Lust." Lust, using Haku's form, smiled gently at Naruto.
"Lust…? One of the seven deadly jutsus…?"
"Correct, as apart of the contract you created with us, I am to ensure you do not attempt to break said contract by finding a way to either become immortal or somehow directly ascend to the afterlife without completing your torture." No malice was in Lust's voice, yet that didn't take away the creep factor from casually talking about Naruto being tortured for a thousand years. "Futhermore, I am here to assist you by showcasing you the power you wield."
"Huh?" Naruto tilted his head to the side, watching as Haku walked over and pointed at his bed.
"Simply place your hands together and perform the same hand sign you did when you summoned the contract, then say what you wish to change…Such as, 'my bed is now a giant tomato'." Naruto thought that sounded silly, though he still did as he was told and…
Immediately, his bed turned into a giant tomato.
"W-What…?" Naruto sounded surprised, yet Lust merely clapped.
"Very good, the powers you have been bestowed allow you to alter the world however you wish. The changes you create will not only be acknowledged by everyone else, but they will act as if that is how things had always been. Such as if you name yourself Hokage once again, they will always believe you were the hokage, or if you revive your parents, people will believe they never died, or even…" Lust reached over and ran their nails across Naruto's back, causing him to shiver. "Other human desires."
"Desires…?" Naruto spoke somewhat weakly, before he suddenly felt something burn through his system. It was hot, a fire that could not be engulfed. Naruto held his chest as the pain ran over him, causing his vision to become blurry and-
It stopped just as soon as it began.

"I believe you understand my implication quite well, Naruto Uzumaki…Now then." Lust ran their nails across Naruto's neck once again, before licking across their lips. "Now go ahead and create the reality you want."
