It was class time for the students at Sparkyville Middle School, and everyone was making their way to their individual classes. As Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty, Heather, Spearmint Sammy, Tommy, Frieda, Emerald, Franklin and Shermy headed into their class, they found their teacher, Mr. Legstrong with a girl they had never seen before.
This girl had long dark brown hair with a bang covering her left eye, and dressed in a gold sleeveless shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
"Class." said Mr. Legstrong. "I would very much like to introduce you to Lisa Petrocelli."
"Hello, Lisa." the whole class said.
"Hello, everyone." said Lisa.
"So Lisa, tell these students about yourself."
"Okay." said Lisa. "We just moved in from New York. My dad runs his very own gym. He chose Sparkyville to move into as he thought it'd be a nice place to run a gym."
"I thought my gym was the only gym in town." thought Spearmint Sammy.
"Along with the one Tommy and Scarlet forced me into." thought Emerald.
"Anyway," said Lisa. "I have to take my position in this class now."
Lisa made a beeline towards the whole class.
"She sounds rather tough, having a dad who runs a gym." thought Charlie Brown.
So for the rest of the day, whenever Lisa was around, Charlie Brown was hiding. During lunch, he hid under the lunch table when Heather Wold went looking for him.
"Charlie Brown!" she called.
But Charlie Brown didn't respond.
"What are you doing under the table?" Heather asked.
"It's….. it's…."
"Yes?"
"It's that Lisa girl." said Charlie Brown. "I hear her father runs a gym. Considering how Lucy, Violet and Patty treated me in the past, she might as well be in the league they once were."
"Don't worry about her, Charlie Brown." said Heather. "Who knows? Maybe this Lisa is more easy going than she looks."
"That's pretty easy for you to say." thought Charlie Brown.
"Come on." said Heather. "I'll get you some lunch."
"Thanks, I guess." said Charlie Brown.
While Heather went to get Charlie Brown some lunch, there was Lisa having her lunch. She looked at Charlie Brown under the table, and was puzzled.
"What is that kid up to now?" she wondered.
Lisa would soon find out.
"I'm going to get some answers from the students." Lisa decided.
So Lisa set out to find answers. One kid Lisa came across was Linus van Pelt.
"Oh. Hello." said Linus. "You're Lisa, I hear."
"I am." said Lisa. "And…. who are you?"
"I'm Linus. Linus van Pelt."
"Nice to meet you, Linus." said Lisa.
"So what brings you to me?" asked Linus.
"Are you familiar with a kid dressed in a yellow shirt with a black zigzag?" asked Lisa.
"Oh. You're talking about Charlie Brown?"
"Yes. That's him." said Lisa. "I just saw him sitting under a table in the cafeteria. It's like he's afraid of me."
"That's Charlie Brown for you." said Linus. "He was like this as a kid, being picked on by Lucy, Violet and Patty. He's probably worried you're on the same league as them."
"Awful." said Lisa.
"Though those girls have taken it easy on him since a few years ago." said Linus. "Though there's Emerald, who enjoys picking on Tommy Halverson. But with that girl's weight loss, she seems to have mellowed down."
"I'll see about that." said Lisa.
Lisa went back to the cafeteria where Charlie Brown and Heather were having lunch.
"Oh. Hello." Lisa said.
"Hello….. Lisa." said Charlie Brown.
"I hear from Linus that you were picked on as a kid." said Lisa. "Most notably Lucy, Violet and Patty, I hear."
"They did make my life miserable." said Charlie Brown. "Not inviting me to parties, pulling the football away from me, giving me useless psychiatry. But a few years ago, they mellowed down. And as for Lucy pulling the football away from me, that was pretty much my fault."
"That's a relief then." said Lisa. "But how come you were hiding under this table?"
"I thought, with your dad running a gym, you'd be on their league." said Charlie Brown.
"Oh, Charlie Brown." said Lisa. "You'll see the kinds of people I use my strength on. Just you wait and see."
Charlie Brown was surprised.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I have some other students to meet." said Lisa.
As Lisa left, Heather Wold turned.
"See, Charlie Brown?" said Heather. "She's nothing to worry about."
Later that day, Schroeder was at his piano with Mary Stewart resting on top.
"Schroeder. Have you met the new girl?" asked Mary.
"Lisa?" said Schroeder. "I have."
"Heather tells me that even though her father runs a gym, she isn't a bully." said Mary.
As Mary said this, Lisa came in.
"Oh good grief! It's Lisa!" exclaimed Schroeder.
"Hello." said Lisa. "Playing Beethoven, I see."
"He's my one and only idol." said Schroeder. "Too bad Lucy doesn't feel this way. But I have Mary here. She loves Beethoven almost as much as I do."
Mary Stewart blushed at this.
"Anyway," said Lisa. "Charlie Brown told me about this Lucy, and how she and her friends used to mistreat him."
"They haven't done that in years." said Schroeder.
"Then I'll have to find someone else to talk some sense into." said Lisa. "Thanks for the info anyway."
Lisa was on her way to where Charlie Brown lived. Soon, she saw where Charlie Brown was.
"Oh. Hey, Charlie Brown." said Lisa. "I just paid a visit to Schroeder and told him all about the problems you had as a kid."
"Oh. I see." said Charlie Brown.
"Anyway, why was Lucy so cruel to you when it came to pulling the football away from you?" Lisa asked.
"Well…." said Charlie Brown. "I was fed up with how weak her kicks were, and told her that little girls didn't belong on the football field."
"Really?!" exclaimed Lisa.
"Yes." sighed Charlie Brown. "I guess that was why she kept pulling the football away from me."
"I understand." said Lisa. "But you were only kids back then."
"And that was why, after she went to a real psychiatrist, we solved our issues." said Charlie Brown.
"Well, thanks for explaining." said Lisa as she headed home.
In Lisa's absence, Sally came outside.
"Who were you talking to, Big Brother?" asked Sally.
"Lisa." said Charlie Brown.
"The intelligent girl who is like me in a way?" asked Sally.
"Not that Lisa!" laughed Charlie Brown. "She's the new girl in my school."
When Lisa got home, she saw her big brothers Luke and Vinnie. Vinnie, the eldest, was preparing his dirt bike for his next rally, while Luke, the middle child, was watching TV.
"Hey, Bros!" said Lisa.
"Hey, Sis." said Vinnie. "How's your first day at Sparkyville Middle School been?"
"It's been alright." said Lisa. "Made a few friends, want to see if there are any bullies I could deal with."
"Have you seen any?" asked Luke.
"So far, none." said Lisa. "There is this kid named Charlie Brown. He used to be bullied when he was younger, by three girls, who go by the names Lucy, Violet and Patty. But luckily, they've mellowed down. So no need to deal with them. He even thought I was out to get him."
"You've got the guts, Sis." said Luke. "Anymore info on your new friends?"
"Not really." said Lisa. "But I'm sure to get some. Also, I hear Schroeder has his true blonde-haired girl."
"Who is Schroeder?" asked Vinnie.
"He plays the piano. I hear he's very devoted to Beethoven." said Lisa.
The next day, Lisa didn't take the bus to school. Instead, she rode her bicycle. One of the stops she made was at the bus stop Charlie Brown, Lucy, Rerun, Linus, Janice, Heather, Sally, Lindsey, Britney and Harold Angel stood at, waiting for their bus.
"Heya, guys!"
"Hey, everyone." said Lisa.
"Hey, Lisa." said Charlie Brown. "Come to take a bus to school?"
"Nah." said Lisa. "I'm riding my bike. Better for the body."
Upon arriving at school, Lisa went into her homeroom. One of the students in her homeroom happened to be Janice's big sister Lindsey.
"Oh. Hello." said Lisa. "I'm sorry. I didn't get your name."
"I'm Lindsey." said the girl.
"Hey, Lindsey." said Lisa. "Don't worry. I may be strong, but I'm no bully."
Lindsey looked down.
"What seems to be the problem?" asked Lisa.
"It's my relationship with my sister Janice." said Lindsey. "It's….. I used to be so jealous of Janice, back when she had cancer, I felt like I'd been neglected."
"Don't worry, Lindsey." said Lisa. "Your sister is fine now, and your family still loves you."
And Lindsey felt better.
During lunch that day, Lisa looked around for any bullies. Much to her surprise, she found Emerald, Tommy's old archenemy, pestering him into buying her some jelly doughnuts.
"Tommy. I need some jam doughnuts!" said Emerald.
"Er…. Emerald? You didn't say how many you want." Tommy stammered.
"I need six jam doughnuts!" Emerald demanded.
"I….if you say so." sighed Tommy as he went to get Emerald some.
"Emerald! You promised you would keep your weight off!" exclaimed Scarlet.
"Scarlet. You know nothing about how ladies and gentlemen should be treated." said Emerald innocently.
"Gentlemen should be treated with decency!" came a voice.
The voice belonged to Lisa. Both Emerald and Scarlet looked at her worriedly.
"What do you two think you're doing with that kid?" Lisa demanded.
"I…. was….. asking him to get some jam doughnuts for himself…." stammered Emerald.
"You were not!" Scarlet retorted, causing Emerald to elbow her stomach.
"By the sounds of it," Lisa continued. "you, the girl in green…."
"Emerald Green." Emerald interrupted.
"Emerald." said Lisa. "You were telling that boy you needed six jelly doughnuts!"
"And you said you would only eat these Fridays for your treat." Scarlet sighed.
"I'll deal with you later." said Lisa to Emerald. "Come on….. girl in red."
"Scarlet's my name."
"Okay, Scarlet." said Lisa. "Come with me."
In Lisa and Scarlet's absence, Tommy had returned. He had eaten three of the doughnuts he had ordered.
"Oh, so good!" Tommy said. "No wonder Emerald loves these so much!"
Emerald looked at Tommy angrily.
"Tommy?! Why did you give me three jam doughnuts?!" Emerald demanded.
"Er….. they…. limited it to just three per customer…." Tommy stammered.
"Nonsense!" Emerald said. "There's no limits! Now where is the other….. wait a minute!"
Emerald looked at Tommy's face, noticing red jelly on his face.
"What's this?"
Emerald put her finger on Tommy's face and tasted…..
"Strawberry jam?! I knew it! You ate half of my lunch!"
"Emerald!" Tommy said. "You know you shouldn't be eating doughnuts all the time! Do you want to get big again?"
"That's it, Tommy!" Emerald snarled.
Meanwhile, Scarlet was discussing the problems Emerald had to Lisa.
"Before we even came to America, even back in Australia…" Scarlet began.
"Australia? So you're from Australia?" Lisa said.
"Yes." said Scarlet. "Emerald would pick on Tommy, and I would only join in just to go along with it, as I worried I'd hurt our friendship by admitting what she was doing was wrong."
"Oh." said Lisa. "So that's your issue with Emerald."
"That's not all." said Scarlet. "She framed Tommy when she came to America, but was expelled when Frieda found out. Snoopy showed the evidence."
"Who's Snoopy?" asked Lisa.
"He's Charlie Brown's dog." said Scarlet.
"Charlie Brown has a dog?" said Lisa. "One who can use a camera?"
"This dog can do anything." said Scarlet. "Back to Emerald. After her expulsion, she got overweight, and she did more bad stuff. She set the kitchen on fire, but she was only in a rush, she kidnapped Tommy…."
"Kidnapping?! Good grief!" cried Lisa.
"She ate all the chocolate on our excursion to the chocolate factory. She ate all the spaghetti we made one cooking class. And one time she got suspended, she trapped Frieda, Violet and Patty down a hole, just to ruin their dates."
"Good grief!" Lisa cried again.
"And I thought her weight loss would've mellowed her down." Scarlet continued. "Emerald!"
Lisa and Scarlet went back to the cafeteria, and were most surprised to see Emerald holding Tommy by the shirt.
"Did you really think you could eat all of my jam doughnuts and get away with it?!" Emerald growled.
"No." Tommy begged. "I didn't. I was going to give you the rest after all!"
"EMERALD GREEN!" came a voice.
Everyone expected that to come from Frieda, but much to everyone's surprise, it came from Scarlet.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING TO POOR TOMMY?" Scarlet demanded.
"I… was…. just building up my muscles." stammered Emerald.
"Oh no you weren't!" Lisa butted in. "You were attacking him just for eating some of your lunch! Say, how many doughnuts did you ask him to get?"
"Er… six." Emerald sighed.
"Six." Lisa sighed.
"But they were so good." Tommy whimpered. "I was just testing to see that they weren't poison, and they weren't."
"Very well." said Emerald as she set Tommy down. "You've won for now."
Tommy walked over to Lisa, and Lisa hugged him.
"Don't you fear." said Lisa. "If anyone picks on you, you give me a call."
"Okay." said Tommy. "Lisa, is it? I'm Tommy."
"Tommy." said Lisa.
One girl who walked up to Tommy was Frieda. She had seen everything.
"Hey, Tommy." said Frieda. "Are you okay?"
"I'm alright, Frieda." said Tommy.
"Say, is this your girlfriend?" Lisa asked.
"Oh, she is." said Tommy. "She's been this since one Valentine's Day."
"I saw how sad he was when Emily moved away." said Frieda. "And I laid eyes on him ever since we went to Australia."
"Isn't that romantic?" Smiled Lisa.
On her way home, as Lisa was going to her father's gym, she noticed a boy picking on a girl. This boy happened to be Billy, the same boy who called Janice a baldie, and the girl happened to be Eudora, Sally's best friend.
"Cute hat! Does it fly?" Billy teased.
Billy pulled off Eudora's hat, and much to his surprise, Eudora had a lot of hair.
"Ha! At least you have hair unlike another guy!" Billy teased. "But one day, you're going to lose it!"
Eudora looked away, crying.
"YOU BLOCKHEAD!" Sally shouted. "YOU LEAVE MY BEST FRIEND ALONE!"
"Why?" asked Billy. "She's always wearing that hat!"
Lisa had heard enough. She marched right up to Billy and picked him up by the sweater.
"YOU LEAVE THAT GIRL ALONE! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PICK ON HIM!" shouted Lisa. "She only wears that hat because she may think it's fashionable to her! How about you start wearing a hat and see if anyone will pick on you for it, won't cha?"
Lisa put Billy down. Billy was very shaken after that.
"But…."
"If I see you pick on another girl, then you'll have me to answer to!" Lisa said angrily.
"I'm sorry." sighed Billy. "It's just….. my brother does this kind of stuff."
"Don't say sorry to me. Say sorry to that girl!" Lisa demanded.
As Lisa walked off, Billy walked over to Eudora.
"I'm sorry." said Billy. "I like your hat by the way."
"It's too late." said Eudora. "The damage has been done.
"So that's Lisa." said Sally. "I did see her at the bus stop the other day."
That evening, when Lisa got home, there were her brothers watching TV.
"So how was school today, Sis?" asked Vinnie.
"It was good." said Lisa.
"Find any bullies to take on?" asked Luke.
"You bet." said Lisa. "There was this girl named Emerald, who was picking on this poor kid named Tommy. He ate half the jelly doughnuts she asked him to buy."
"And how many doughnuts did this Emerald ask him to get for her?" asked Luke.
"Six."
"Six? So that means three doughnuts for him and three for her. That's more sensible." said Vinnie.
"I hope Emerald learned her lesson." said Lisa. "Anyway, I'd best exercise. Gotta keep my strength up."
The next day, Tommy saw Lisa just before he walked into the school.
"Hey, Lisa." said Tommy. "Thanks for helping me yesterday."
"Ah, it was nothing." said Lisa. "But you and Scarlet did the rest. I hope Emerald has learned her lesson."
"I hope so too." said Tommy. "And I thought she'd learned her lesson after Scarlet and I made her diet."
"So you put her on a diet?" asked Lisa.
"It was Violet's idea to suggest Emerald eat well." said Tommy.
"Violet's?" said Lisa. "Well, at least this Violet hasn't picked on Charlie Brown in years so I hear."
One of Lisa's classes that day was science. One of the students in her class happened to be Marcie, who looked a bit grumpy.
"Hello there. Girl with glasses." said Lisa.
"My name is Marcie." Marcie explained.
"What seems to be the problem, Marcie?" asked Lisa.
"It's this kid Floyd." said Marcie.
"What about Floyd?" asked Lisa.
"When we were kids, and one day at camp, he would keep calling me a Lambcake." said Marcie.
"Oh, Marcie." said Lisa. "What's wrong with being called a lambcake?"
"He used it to insult me." said Marcie.
"Marcie. Could you point out this Floyd?" asked Lisa.
"Okay, Lisa." said Marcie as she fingered Floyd, the kid with black hair.
Lisa walked over to Floyd, who looked sheepish.
"Floyd, is it?" said Lisa.
"Yes… ma'am." said Floyd.
"Lisa's the name."
"What do you want from me?" asked Floyd.
"Have you been calling Marcie 'Lambcake'?" asked Lisa.
"I used to…." said Floyd.
"Used to?" asked Lisa.
"Yes." said Floyd. "She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Until Tommy talked sense into me. And now, I have my eyes set on Polly."
"Then that's settled." said Lisa.
And Lisa went back to remind Marcie that all was well.
"Well, that's a relief." said Marcie.
After school, Lisa met Billy again.
"Hello. Girl who yelled at me." said Billy.
"So, you're saying your brother puts this kind of behaviour into your mind, is that right?" asked Lisa.
"He does." said Billy. "You wouldn't mind if I showed him to you, would you?"
"Show me then." said Lisa.
So Billy walked Lisa to his house and there, in the front yard, was an older boy, playing some new marbles he'd gotten.
"Is this him?" asked Lisa.
"That's right." said Billy.
There, the very boy in question, happened to be Joe Agate.
"Who's the babe?" asked Joe Agate.
"She yelled at me after I picked on Eudora yesterday." said Billy.
"Well it's not nice to pick on anyone, especially little girls!" Lisa explained.
"Alright then." said Joe Agate. "I know just how to settle this."
"How?" asked Lisa.
"A game of marbles!" smirked Joe Agate. "You win, I'll stop forcing bad behaviour onto my brother. And if I win, I'll pick on you for the rest of your life!"
"Marbles?!" exclaimed Lisa. "But I don't know how to play marbles!"
"Then you'll learn, won't you." smirked Joe Agate. "Is Saturday at noon good enough for you?"
Lisa put this into her mind, and then…
"You're on!" Lisa decided.
The next day, Lisa spoke to her friends all about Joe Agate.
"Joe Agate?" quizzed Charlie Brown. "You mean the camp bully?"
"He's a camp bully?" asked Lisa.
"Charles and I met him at summer camp once." said Marcie.
"He took my brother's marbles so I hear." said Lucy.
"Linus has marbles?" asked Lisa.
"Not Linus. Rerun." said Lucy. "My even younger brother."
"Oh. That's right. You have two brothers." said Lisa.
"Come to my house later, and I'll show you how to do marbles." suggested Lucy.
"Okay then." said Lisa.
"Say, is it true that Charlie Brown beat this Joe Agate at marbles?" asked Lucy. "I don't believe it."
"He sure did, Lucille." said Peppermint Patty. "Just goes to show Chuck isn't as wishy-washy as you once thought he was."
After school, the van Pelt siblings brought Lisa to their place.
"So you wanna learn marbles, do you?" asked Lucy.
"It's what Joe settled on." said Lisa.
As they got there, Lucy went into the attic, and got out the jar of marbles. Linus drew a marble ring, laid out several marbles, and Lucy was ready to teach Lisa.
"See this?" said Lucy, holding up a red marble. "This is my grandfather Felix's lucky shooter."
"But before you get started," Linus said. "You need a coach."
"Who's my coach?" asked Lisa.
The coach happened to be Snoopy, under the guise of Joe Cool.
"There goes Joe Cool." thought Lucy.
"Joe Cool, will you see how I shoot these marbles?" asked Lisa.
Joe Cool got down, picked up the lucky red marble, used his front foot, aimed towards a green marble, and managed to knock it out of the ring.
"Now, you try." Linus said.
Lisa got the red marble, and after her first try, dropped it out of her hand.
"Whoops!"
"Try again." said Linus.
Linus put the marble back in Lisa's hand, and Lisa aimed, aimed for a yellow marble and….. SHOOT! The yellow marble was shot out.
"Great work, Lisa!" said Linus.
"Now, to try and win the other marbles." Lisa said to herself.
Lisa worked hard on her marble shooting all afternoon. If she was going to beat Joe Agate at his own game, then she had to practice.
Another one…." Lisa said to herself. "Now….."
Lisa aimed for a green one, managing to knock it out of the ring.
"That's the way to do it!" said Linus.
Lisa tried for another red one, then a yellow one, then a blue one, then a green one, and then…..
"There. Now I'm ready to challenge Joe Agate." said Lisa.
"We'll be there to cheer you on." said Linus.
"And I have just the ticket to the match." said Lucy.
Saturday had arrived, and instead of having the game at Joe Agate's house, the game was to be played at the Petrocelli place.
"I don't believe it, Sis." said Luke. "You're playing marbles against a bully!"
"I sure am." said Lisa. "Giving him a taste of his own medicine."
Lucy had set up a new booth. It was a ticket booth, allowing anyone coming to pay to get in.
"Five cents to get in!" Lucy announced.
In Lisa's backyard, there was a big marble ring. When Joe Agate arrived, he was most surprised to see how big it was.
"Why's the ring so big?" asked Joe Agate.
"I wanted to make the game harder." said Lisa.
"You'll never win the game." smirked Joe Agate. "The ring's far too big!"
"Oh, we'll see." Lisa smirked back.
Soon, everyone in Sparkyville had arrived. The Wolf Pack, Charlie Brown, Linus, Frieda, Violet, Patty Swanson, Eudora, Sally, Janice, Mimi, Pig-Pen, Franklin, Harold Angel, Roy, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Shermy, Schroeder, Heather Wold, Tommy, Spearmint Sammy, Marty, Emerald, Scarlet, Thibault, Floyd, Polly, Melody-Melody, Lila, Mary Stewart, Mary Jo….. everyone you could think of.
"Do it for your friends, Lis!" shouted Charlie Brown.
"Here goes." said Lisa.
Joe Agate got out his marbles, and lay 100 of them all over the field.
"Good grief! He's got more marbles than last time!" cried Charlie Brown.
Snoopy, under the guise Joe Cool, walked up to Lisa, and kissed her left cheek.
"Here goes." said Lisa.
"See if you can win this!" smirked Joe Agate.
Lisa got out the red marble, aimed carefully towards fifty of the marbles, and managed to shoot fifty out of the ring.
"Whoa!" exclaimed Janice.
"Amazing!" cried Linus.
"I don't believe it! Fifty marbles out already?!" Joe Agate cried.
Lisa got another go, and shot another twenty-five marbles out of the ring. Then five, then ten, and finally, the final ten were shot out of the ring.
"All of them! You cleaned out all of them!" Joe Agate cried. "Who are you?!"
"Just some practice." said Lisa. "From my good old coach, Joe Cool."
Snoopy walked up to Lisa and kissed her again.
"You've taken all my marbles." sighed Joe Agate.
"I don't want them." said Lisa. "I played the game because your brother wouldn't stop bullying little girls. The other day, I saw him attacking a girl in a knitted hat!"
"Really?!" cried Joe Agate. "Billy, is this true?"
"Yes, Big Brother." said Billy.
"I guess this is not the way to act." said Joe Agate. "Lisa. You keep the marbles."
"No thanks." said Lisa. "I just wanted to show you how well I practiced."
And Lisa handed the marbles back to Joe Agate. But she gave the red one back to the Van Pelts.
"I never thought you had it in you, Lisa." said Charlie Brown.
"And I see how you beat Joe at his own game." said Lisa. "How would you guys like to play a game of marbles against me?"
"I think we'll play for keepsies." said Lucy. "Let's go over to my place."
"But before you do." said Franklin.
"Let's give it up for Lisa Petrocelli!" announced Shermy.
"Three cheers for Lisa Petrocelli, the new marble champion!" Everyone cheered.
"I…. I didn't expect this!" cried Lisa.
"Anyway, let's get to my place for a game of marbles." said Lucy. "This time, it's for keepsies."
"Yay!"
And everyone who could lifted Lisa high into the air.
"And that was a well deserved victory you got there, Lisa." said Charlie Brown.
"You should teach me what you know about marbles, Charlie." said Tommy. "I like the sound of this game."
Everyone walked over to the van Pelt place with Lisa in their arms. Snoopy joined in, happy he'd trained Lisa. When they got there, they put Lisa down.
"Snoopy! You made it!" cried Charlie Brown.
"Snoopy? So this is your dog, Charlie Brown?" said Lisa.
"He sure is." said Charlie Brown. "He's not a normal dog, but once you get to know him, he's not that bad a dog."
"Okay. Snoopy. Shake." Lisa said, holding her hand out.
But Snoopy gave out a thickshake.
"Not what I meant, but okay." chuckled Lisa.
"Why can't Charlie Brown have a normal dog like everyone else?" sighed Lucy.
