I've been waiting to do this chapter for a very long time because I was inspired by the opening of the Avengers game. It would be great to introduce the rest of the Avengers.

Gwen, Kamala, and Babs were currently riding a bus to Gotham City, for a comic con being held there where all of the 6 avengers will be there as one of the special guests there, with Babs and Kamala being all excited. "Babs, this is Gotham?! And here I thought I've been in worse places. This place is Terrible!" Gwen said. "I know, I mean for the Avengers to visit at a convention they have to pick this place." Kamala said. "I mean, out of all these places, why does that Gotham nut protect this place from crime?" she asked. "I know it's not the best, but it's where I called home!" Babs said, which made both Gwen and Kamala look at each other in confusion. "I'm sure there's some bright side to this place that you could call home." Gwen said which made Kamala smile to play along. Soon Kamala was working on her book. "Hey what's that?" Gwen asked. "It's a fanfiction I wrote for the contest." Kamala explained. "Oh yeah I forgot." Gwen said. "I didn't know you wrote fanfiction." Babs said. "Yeah, I've been doing it for a long time, and I hope this story I wrote will win." Kamala said. Sweet, what do they win?" Gwen asked. "Well, whoever wins gets a picture with the Avengers and has them autographed by them!" Kamala shouted as she squealed with excitement. "I'm glad Kamala," Gwen said. "What's the story about?" she asked. "Here, take a look." Kamala said as she gave her the fanfiction book she wrote. "The Avengers against the giant mutant sewer lizards?" Gwen wrote the title."That's something." Gwen said. "Well that's a great story, but it's not like the story I wrote." Babs said as she gave them her story for the contest. "55+ reasons why Batman is way, way, way, way, better than the Avengers." The two girls read the title of Babs fanfiction. "One, this is not a fanfiction, it's a list, and Two I highly doubt that the Avengers have read this." Gwen said as she gave Babs's story back. "Well, you may be here for the Avengers, while I'm here for the true greatest hero of the earth." Babs said with determination.
Soon, they came to the destination, where a certain friend of Babs was waiting for her. Harleen was pushing through people while saying, "Out of my way! You, shove over!" Then she sees her best friend. "Babsie-wabsie!" Harleen said as she was excited. "Leenie-beanie!" Babs said with excitement. They both ran to greet each other. "Gotham Elementary, grade number two. Gotham girls, Gotham girls, sounding off for you. Barbara Gordon! Harleen Quinzel! Besties through and through!" Babs and Harleen said as part of their secret handshake. "How come we don't have one?" Kamala asked which made Gwen roll her eyes.
Harleen hugs Babs and said, "Aw, I've missed you so much since you moved away, Babbly Boo!" she then lets go and gets excited and askes, "Are you ready for the best villain convention in the world?" "You mean the Annual Convention of Gotham City Enthusiasts, the best hero convention in the world? Well, duh!" Babs said until Gwen and Kamala came in, "Harleen, this is Gwen and Kamala." Babs introduced. "Well, we finally met after hearing from you." Harleen said as she went for a handshake. Kamala smiled and said, "Well, it's an honor to…" but right as Kamala went for a handshake, Harleen used her hand buzzer to shock Kamala, then she fell on the ground. Both Harleen and Babs were laughing and Babs said, "Oh! Good one, Leenie-beanie!" This made Kamala feel irritated as she gritted her teeth and did a fake smile as she said, "Yes, very funny!"
"Well It's nice to meet you Harleen." Gwen said. "Yeah it sure is, are you here for some Batman stuff or something?" Harleen asked. "Uh no, Kamala's here to see the Avengers, Well I'm here just to tag along." Gwen said. "Fair enough." Harleen said. "So, who's up for the Gotham Con?" Harleen asked. "This will be fun." Gwen said. "But it's all the way across town!" Harleen said.
Babs then started to smile and said, "That means we're going to have to walk through…"
"Gotham City!" The Gotham girls said with excitement. Kamala then groaned and said, "Yippie." in a depressed way. "Oh come on Kamala, it doesn't look all that bad." Gwen Gwen, Kamala, Babs and Harleen were on their way to the convention and were giving the five a tour as they went. Along the way, people were walking down the street as police cars zoomed by as the seven made their way to the convention. They stopped and took a selfie at Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals and Blackgate Penitentiary. They went down an alleyway where a hopscotch drawing was as well as tied up criminals in black. Babs and Harleen were dancing on top of a police car, much to the two's embarrassment as Gwen apologized to them. Then, someone threw garbage bags from out the window with bugs crawling out saying "Gotham Rocks!" Then saying "Besties Forever'', As Babs and Harleen went by, making Gwen and Kamala sick. Babs was riding in a shopping cart with Harleen pushing it, making Rook worry about her driving. That was when they stopped by some S.W.A.T. vehicles and behind the seven friends was a guy trying to steal a old lady's purse, but knocked him out with a whack from the purse, the the S.W.A.T. people were dancing with the two, confusing the others. Then, the girls were lying on the ground and in drawings for a murder scene, much to the two's confusion as the two besties rolled away and the drawings were dancing too, much to the three's surprise! "I take it back, Kamala, it's the worst." Gwen said.
Soon, they arrived at the Gotham City Convention Center, there so many people for the event and there were some few cosplayers in it, but besides Gotham being a resident to Batman it's mostly cosplaying on the avengers (Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Wasp, and Spider-Man), and there some few others cosplaying the X-men (Professor X, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Beast, Iceman, Storm, Wolverine, Rogue, and Armor) the Fantastic 4 (Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing), DareDevil, Captain Marvel, and including Superman, but there are also some few cosplayers of Batman and even the Joker. There were also some booths of shops and Game activities. "This place is really cool!" Gwen said. "Indeed!" Kamala said. Babs and Harleen we're all in their oohs and ahs, until suddenly, Harleen started to scream excitedly "What? What is it?" Gwen asked. "Is it a villain attack?" Kamala asked.
Turns out, she was getting excited over a steamroller that seemed to be resembling being used by Batman's archfoe, the Joker. "This is it, Babs! The actual steamroller used by the Joker in his infamous Crushin' Christmas caper! This is my Annual Convention of Gotham City Enthusiasts thing this year! The one thing I wanted to see more than anything else!" Harleen said. "Joker?" Gwen. "You mean that villain who dressed like the clown?" she asked. "Yep, its so wonderful!" Harleen said. "Okay?" Kamala said. "Well I better be off, I need to get the stamps." she said. "Stamps?" Babs asked. "Yeah, when we went inside, I entered into a VIP booth pass, and the challenge is that if you collect at least 8 stamps around this comic con, can get free VIP seats for the special announcement later on." Kamala said. "Oh that's cool." Gwen said. "Okay then, I'll take Babsie with me, see you later." Harleen said as she went off with Babs. "Hey!" Harleen wraps her arm around Babs."What's your thing to see at the Con this year, Babbles? Something Batman-y, I suppose?" she asked. "Mmm. Mmm-hmm!" Babs answered. "So, what's the Batman-y thing that's your favorite, Babsie-wabsie?" Harleen asked. "You'll just have to wait and see!" Babs said.
Soon, the Four went in two different directions, Babs, Harleen and Chase went one way, While Gwen and Kamala went to the areas to get each stamp. So far she managed to get two stamps, the Avengers logo and the S.H.I. logo, by completing some few mini tasks or games to earn them each. They even started to play some Avenger based games, just like the ones on the pier in Metropolis. A couple minutes later they started laughing together as they were about to meet up with Babs. "Man, I haven't had this fun in a long time." Gwen said. "I know, tell me about it." Kamala said.
Soon, the two went to the room where the others were. Until they see Batgirl get kicked out of a room. "Robin!" Batgirl grumbles. "Babs are you…" Gwen checked in on Babs to see if she was alright but suddenly she had her spider sense tingling, and then Gwen ducked down to avoid the Mallet. "What the hey?" Kamala asked. That's when they see Harley Quinn, Batgirl's enemy. "Oh come on another clown villain, why does Gotham have the strangest heroes and villains?" Kamala said. "Stay outta my way, Bratgirl! Robbyboy's got what-for coming, and I'm the one who's gonna give it to him!" Harley Quin said. "Well, that sounds awesome! But we're gonna stop you anyway." Batgirl declared.
Soon! Whether Robin was, Harley Quinn would try to destroy him. But luckily, no matter how many things she tried, like dropping a spotlight on him, using a grenade disguised as a microphone, a dart from a party blower, a stick of dynamite in a hot dog bun or even just trying to snag him, Batgirl put a stop to her every chance they got. Later, Babs, and Harleen eventually reunited, and they seemed beat., while Gwen and Kamala came back. "Hey Girls, WOah what happened here?" Kamala asked. "Ugh. I am so beat." Babs said as she slurped her drink. " Ugh. Tell me about it." Harleen said as she slurped some of her drink. "How's that VIP pass going so far Kamala?" Babs asked. "So far only 3, just need 5 more to go." Kamala said, that's when she got an idea. "Hey I got Babs, how about you and me go find some more stamps to get your mind off of Robin." Kamala explained. "I know it's not Batman but I'm sure you can enjoy it." Kamala said. This made Babs smile and said, "You know what, sure." Babs said as she got up to join with Kamala leaving Babs and Gwen all alone.
They first stopped at the Iron Man booth which was a huge shop filled with Iron Man merchandise. They were looking around to see if they could find a stamp but sadly no luck. "Man there's no stamp of Iron Man here." Kamala said. "Man Iron Man really likes to merchandise his alter ego so much." Babs said. But until Kamala's eyes turned to something else. "Woah!" Kamala said. "What is it?" Babs asked. "Kamala found the little area for a toy replica of Iron Man's repulsors. "Check it out! Repulser gloves! Limited edition!" Kamala said as she grabbed one and tried it on. "Check it out Babs, Im IronMan!" Kamala said as she did a cool pose with the repulser. "Hah, you think that Iron Man looks cool with that repulser, you should see this!" Babs said as she brought out her batarang and did a cool pose. "Well Batman may have given himself too many gadgets, but Iron Man can always upgrade his suits to make them 10 times cooler." Kamala stated. Suddenly they hear thunder come down near the entrance which made them startled, and just then a certain asgardian warrior came in, he appeared to have blonde hair in a shape of a bob cut, and a thick blonde beard, he wore a brass-like armor in a tradition of an asgardian, and a red cape. It was Thor, who just came in. "Ah…what atrocity is this?" Thor asked when he stepped in while looking around the shop, while Babs was looking confused while Kamala was in amazement. While Thor found and checked on a keychain shaped like Mjlnoir, he didn't notice the two girls until Kamala said, "Woah!" which made Thor turn his head. "Ah, apologies, my friends. You were quite small and hard to see." Thor stated. "But there is no need to cower before the son of Odin..." he declared as he said in pride. "But I do understand the impact you're witnessing." he said, which made Kamala snicker at his humanity. "What is your name, little ones?" Thor asked the two. "Oh, Kamala Khan, and this is Babs." Kamala said. Thor then noticed the replica on Kamala's arm. "And what are you holding in your hand?" Thor asked. "Oh, it's a repulsor of Iron Man's first model 3. Tony Stark's first love." Kamala said as she then pretends to use it while pretending she's firing lasers from the repulsor. "Odin's beard, you're as intimidating as the man himself." Thor said. "But that's nothing that he can't do!" Babs then stepped in as she pretended to throw the batarang around like batman does while also making whooshing sounds. "Hm, I see, you're comparing Starks trinkets to the Gotham nut's trinkets?" Thor asked. "Well I uh…" Kamala was trying to say something until Thor smiled and said, "Worry not, my friends, you all have your own opinions and I respect you all for it." "really?" Kamala asked. "Indeed, but Behold, the true weapon that needs no improvements." Thor said as he then put his hand in the air, then all the way through the comic con, Mjlnoir, Thor's magic hammer came all the way as Thor then caught it. "Woah!" Kamala said as Thor was doing some few tricks with it like spinning it around." "Who so ever hold this hammer, if he, or she, be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." Kamala said as that is what the spell meant. Thor chuckled and said, "Indeed my friends, the difference with Stark or that nut's trinkets and a god's might, is none of them doesn't need improving, but as perfect as the way it is." Babs then looked at her batarang. "Maybe…" Babs said." But hey every hero has their own tricks right?" Kamala said, which made Thor impressed by her wisdom. "You two are impressive, I'll remember you one day." Thor said as he then left the shop. Kamala then got excited and said, "OH MY GOSH, we just talked to Thor, like "the" Thor, oh my gosh, I'm so freaking out right now." Kamala said. "Uh, should we continue with the stamps?" Babs asked. "Oh yeah right! Let's go!" Kamala said as they headed to the next booth.
They manage to get two more stamps, an Iron Man and a Thor Stamp, and then they head to the Captain America booth where they hold the shield that he originally used during his first mission in WWII. "Man, this one's all out." Kamala said as she couldn't find any Captain America stamps. "What's that?" Babs asked. "Woah, it's the shield that Captain America used during his first mission in WWII , to smack hitler in the face!" Kamala explained. Just then two boys came in. "You're in the way." one of the boys said to Babs. "Whoops sorry." Babs said. "Hey check it, she's got a Batman pin, she's probably a Batman fan." the other boy teased. "Why are you a fan? Batman's not really that popular." the first boy said. "Hey, what makes you think he's not a great superhero? He deserves some spotlight too" Babs said. "Do you think that the Avengers read your "story" about how great Batman is than the Avengers? All he does is swing around Gotham and pretends to be a cop rather than some kind of superhero." the first boy said, which made Batman frown. "Besides, Batman is too busy being a nut around this town, no wonder why Robin took his place." the second boy said. This made Kamala mad as she stepped in and said, "When the mob, and the press, and the whole world tells you to turn around. When you plant yourself like a plant yourself beside the river of truth." which made Babs feel confused on what she said. "And you say no. You move" Kamala finished. "What?" the first boy said. "You know who would say that? A fan like me, and she may be different than all of you, but she can understand." Kamala said, which made Babs feel inspired. The first boy scoffed and said, "Whatever." as he and the second boy left. "Thank you Kamala, I don't know what to say." Babs said. "No problem, but they still have no Captain America stamps. Maybe I could find Spider-Man and the Wasp stamps before we come back here." Kamala said, but then a certain soldier came in. "You know something, for what's worth it." Captain America said as he offered his hand for Kamala's stamp book, Which made Kamala and Babs turn around to see him, which made Kamala in awe of what he saw. "That was a pretty brave thing you did, for standing up for someone." He said. "May I?" Captain America asked. Kamala then gave her stamp book to Captain America, then he opened it and stamped the page and gave it back to her. "Uh…Thanks." Kamala said as she had nothing left to say. Captain America then noticed the pin that Kamala has. "I'm guessing you're a Captain Marvel fan right?" he asked which made Kamala nod her head. "She's far away on a mission right now, but I'm sure she would like to meet you." Captain America said. "Oh We've meet, just in a different story." Kamala said. "And I can see your a Batman fan right? Im really sorry he couldn't come right now." Captain America told Babs about her pin. "Well…I…Uh…" Babs had nothing to say as she wasn't expecting to meet. "I'm sorry, it's just your Captain America." Kamala said. "My names Kamala Khan.'' She introduced herself. The name just hit Captain America right at the head. "Khan…Khan, Khan." Captain America tried to remember, until he got it. "You're the author of the story of the giant mutant sewer lizards right?" He asked, which made Kamala surprised. "You read my story?" Kamala asked. "Well we got to read the story to know who should win right?" Captain America said. "Thor really got a kick out of that one, he had a familiar thing back in Asgard." he explained. "Wow, that is so cool!" Kamala said as she was about to geek out, Spider-Man came in. "Cap, our announcement starts at 5, we should get everyone to the Stage, Hulk is getting impatient as usual." Spider-Man said. "Have you seen Thor? He should be joining us." Captain America asked. "Not since this morning." Spider-Man said. "I saw him." Kamala declared. "He was just at the Iron man booth not too long ago, but he might be here right now." Kamala explained. "Spider-Man, you remember Kamala from the San Diego comic con?" Captain America asked. Spider-Man playing along, because he knew who Kamala was and her alter ego and was the one who mentored her, decided to greet himself. "Hey Kid." he said as he gave her a fist bump, Kamala accepted. "That was pretty cool of what you had me do with the sewer plate, not bad." he complimented. "Thank you." Kamala said with excitement. Then he noticed Babs, he then glared at her as she knew her identity, (from chapter 4). "And who's this?" Spider-Man said as he glared at her. "Um…this is Babs my friend." Kamala said to cover for Babs. "Hi…" Babs said nervously. "Good to meet you." Spider-Man said. "We should head to the stage." Spider-Man said. "Right, good meeting with you Kamala, you too, Babs." Captain America said as they both left to the stage. "See ya!" Kamala said, as then her face turned to excitement. "I just to Captain America…and Spider-Man, oh man I don't know what to say…" Kamala said, but then she tried to act cool and said, "right just two more stamps and the VIP pass is ours."
Soon they continued on to find more stamps, they managed to get Spider-man and Wasp stamps just in time before they have one more hour before the big announcement. Then they caught up with Gwen and Harleen as they were just hanging around feeling bored. "Were back, and guess what, I got all of the stamps." Kamala said. "Great job." Hey Harleen, did you get to do that thing you wanted?" Babs asked. "Eh. No. The Annual Convention of Gotham City Enthusiasts totally stinks this year. It's all Avengers." Harleen said. "What! Harleen, just because the Annual Convention of Gotham City Enthusiasts was ruined for me, because I didn't get to see Batman, but Kamala is very happy here. I can't let it be ruined for you! You gotta go do the thing! If not for yourself, do it for me!" Babs said. That's when Robin appeared, causing the crowd to go wild. "You're right, Babs. This Con ain't ruined yet. And I got a sneaky feeling that it might even turn around for the youse." Harleen said as she boops her nose and she leaves. "That's the spirit!" Babs said. "Hey, I'm sorry that Batman isn't here." Gwen said. "It's okay, at least you two are enjoying it." Babs said. Then, there was trouble! Harley Quinn was driving the Joker's steamroller and she was about to crush robin causing the crowd to run away. "Oh, no! Robin! Get out of the…" Babs tried to warn him but it was too late Robin was squashed flat, which Harley Quinn thought she succeeded. "Oh, Robin! This is all my fault!" Babs said as she started sobbing. "I'm so sorry!" she then starts wailing. "I think I'm going to be sick." Kamala said as she was holding her stomach. "Uh Guys." Gwen tried to get their attention but Harleen came in. "Oh, my! What has happened?" Harleen asked. "He's gone. He's really gone." Babs explained. "Um, guys. That's a…" Gwen was interrupted by Harleen again as she said, "Yeah, but that's the clown who humiliated you, right? I thought you'd be happy." "Happy?! Sure, he's a jerk. And he did embarrass me. But I didn't wish, untimely demise!" Babs said as she continued wailing.
"Um, guys, That's not really Robin, that's a…" Gwen left out as Babs said, "Oh, I feel awful!" she continued crying, which made Gwen angry. "Oh…" Harleen came in to comfort her until… "Guys!" Gwen shouted. "What, Gwen?" Kamala asked. "That's not really Robin." Gwen said. That's when...
"Outta my way! Coming through!" The real Robin said as he came in. "Robin?" Babs asked. "Huh?" Kamala asked. "Cosplay Contest starts now, chumps! And your boy Robin's gonna do what he does best, judge you." Robin said as the Crowd started cheering. "He's alive!" the two girls said. "No kidding!" Gwen said. "Stop hogging' the cutout!" a cosplayer said as he took it back and took some pictures. But then heavy footsteps came in as a certain green muscular person came in. Robi got immediately scared as he ran off. It was the Hulk as he was coming in. Kamala gasped and said, "It's the Hulk!" "Wow! He's huge!" Harleen said. "Hey Hulk!" a voice came in , and it turns out, The Wasp shrank herself back to her normal size after the Hulk. "What are you doing big guy? Our announcement is coming after the Cosplay contest, what are you doing?" she asked. "Hulk hungry, Hulk wants food." Hulk said. "Man you've really got an appetite big guy." Wasp said. Kamala was in amazement as she said, "woah!" This causes the attention of the Hulk to turn his head to Kamala. "Hulk wants to know why puny girls stare at Hulk?" Hulk asked. Oh, Uh, I'm sorry, if that offends you I uh…" Kamala didn't know what to say. "Don't worry about him, Hulk was just waiting for the other Avengers to get together for our announcement and the fanfiction contest." Wasp said. "What's your name kid?" Wasp asked. "Kamala Khan." Kamala answered. This made Wasp recognize the name and said, "And I'm Gwen Stacey. "Hey Hulk, that's the kid who wrote that story about giant mutant sewer lizards." To their surprise, Hulk smiled and said, "Hulk enjoyed story, Hulk smashed all evil sewer lizards." Hulk said. 'Wow they all liked my story.' Babs then stepped in. "Hi I'm Babs, I'm the writer who did, '55+ reasons why Batman is way, way, way, way, better than the Avengers.' What do you think?" Babs asked. However, Hulk's face turned back into a grumpy face and said, "Hulk sees no reason why puny gotham nut could be better than Hulk." which made Babs' face turned into a disappointment."Well we better get going, we have a busy schedule, I'll get you something on the way Hulk, will that make you better?" Wasp asked, which then Hulk nodded as they both left to the stage. "Wow, first Thor, then Cap and Spidey, and now Wasp and Hulk?" Kamala said as she then squealed with joy. "Man, I'm happy to see you happy Kamala." Gwen said then the crowd started cheering for the cosplay contest, but there weren't enough people in the crowd as most were waiting for the announcement for the Avengers. "And isn't it wonderful, Harleen? He's alive! He's alive, he's alive, he's alive!" Babs said. "So glad that drama is done. Because I just want to see the big announcement and who wins the best fan fiction" Gwen declared. "I hope you're right Gwen." Kamala said, "and we can see through the VIP seating!" Kamala said. "Huh. Who knew?" Harleen said until she gasped.
That's when she realized she strapped a bomb to Robin's chair! "Uh-oh." Harleen then changed into Harley Quinn and rushed through the cosplayers to get the bomb. Harley Quinn shoves them with her mallet and yells out, "Outta my way, losers!" until she got caught in a web. "Huh? Hey!" Harley Quinn said. And that's When Ghost-Spider turned visible right in front of her. "Sorry, clown. But you're not hurting him." Ghost-Spider said. "That's right!" Ms. Marvel said as she and Batgirl came in
"Forget it, Harley Quinn!" Batgirl said as she took out her Batarang. "We won't let you hurt him!" she declared. "Wait! I'm actually trying to save the yutz this time!" Harley Quinn said. "Likely story!" Ghost-Spider said as she then gathered bio-energy.
Then, Batgirl threw her Batarang, Ghost-SPider used her Bio-energy, and Ms. Marvel used her elasticity to, the villainous jester. "Their costumes are so cool! They're totally gonna win." a superman cosplayer said. "Yeah right." a captain america cosplayer said.
Robin yawns in boredom until he pulls a bomb from under his seat. "What da heck is this?" He asked this made the girls plus Harley Quinn gasp in horror. That's when the four of them tackled Robin to the ground and started punching him, trying to get the bomb, as Harley Quinn sprang up with the bomb. "Is that a bomb?" a spider-man cosplayer asked. "Get outta here, everyone!" Ghost-Spider said Everyone ran out of the room screaming as Harley Quinn carried the bomb. Then, someone bumped into her and it nearly hit a baby, who was dressed like the Joker, but luckily, Batgirl was able to grab it before it did. Batgirl was trying to get rid of the bomb, but was having no luck. Then, she tossed it to Harley Quinn who threw it into a safe. But it turned out to be an actual safe from the Bank Robber caused by the Joker and she went and got it out quickly. "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!" Harley Quinn said. She then ended up back at the Cosplay Contest as Harley Quinn tried to blow out the fuse, but to no avail. So, she tossed it to someone which ended up being Robin. She snagged the bomb away from him just in time! Then, Batgirl tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher, but she missed. Harley Quinn gave Batgirl the bomb and tried to use the extinguisher, but she got it! This caused the crowd to cheer for the three superheroes and villains, while Robin just pouted. As Batgirl,Ghost-Spider and Ms. Marvel shook hands with Harley, they immediately stopped what they were doing as she sprayed them with the fire extinguisher and made a run for it, as Batgirl took off after her. "Should we go after her?" Ghost-Spider asked. "Nah, we can catch her later." Ms. Marvel said. "Now come on, we still have 30 minutes to turn in the stamps for the VIP seats now let's go!" Soon Gwen, Kamala, and Babs got VIP passes and got special seats for the big announcement and the fanfiction contest. The VIP pass seats were at least higher and a bit farther from the regular crowd but it was the best way for a better view. While everyone was settling down, the three girls noticed something. "Hey Where's Harleen?" Kamala asked. "She's probably still doing that thing she needs to do." Babs said. "Again?" Kamala asked. While having a conversation, Gwen saw Spider-Man walking to the stage with the other Avengers, including their liaison, Dr. Jane Foster. As Spider-Man sat down he saw Gwen in the special seats for the VIP pass, and decided to give her a quick wink. Gwen returned the wink back. Then all of the sudden music from the song, "Hurricane'' came out of nowhere. "Oh No!" Spider-Man said as he knew if there was music like that, he would come. "Here we go again." Thor said. That's when a certain red and yellow, robot like superhero with some blue glowing areas including his repulser core came in. Iron man aka Tony Stark was walking in the area where the people with the VIP passes. "Good Morning, Gotham! The city of strange but interesting people, instant crime, and lots of parking taxes." Iron man said, as he was being the instant show off while heading to the end where three girls were. "This place has so many parking passes you know, it's so strange right?" Iron Man asked, then he started to fly by the repulsors on his feet. "Nice bag." Iron Man complemented, then he started to fly around which made Kamala smile. While the song was singing Iron Man was flying around the crowd which he then also gave high hives to some of them and then landed at the stage where the Avengers were and the Crowd was cheering for them. Iron Man being Iron Man started to show off more by given them more of the encore which made Wasp smile but Spider-Man rolled his eyes in embarrassment.
Soon Iron Man joined with the others as Captain America came in front of the Microphone. "Thank you all for coming. Before we start with the fanfiction contest I'd like to give you all an announcement." Captain America said. "As you know we formed the Avengers as a new beacon of hope for the world, and for nearly 3 years, we've been helping people all around the New York state. And Now It's time we tell you two things we have planned. Our first announcement is we are planning to be around the world to help people, give them a chance to hope, so we will have a brand new base as we'll have a chance to help people." Captain America said. "And now let this be explained by our liaison, Dr. Jane Foster. Ms Foster please?" Captain America asked, as Jane then walked to the same place where Captain America was. "Thank you, this a project that I've been planning for a year when the Avengers were formed, and so with the help from our allies from S.H.I.E.L.D I'd like to introduce to you our own hellicarrier, A-Eagle 1." Jane said a model of the S.H.I.E.L.D hellicarrier or the A-Eagle 1, was shown which made everyone applaud. "Oh, cool!" Kamala said. "This project is set to be finished in about 5-12 months as we speak." Jane said as she was done presenting, then she moved back as Captain America came in. "Thank you Dr. Foster, Now it's time for next announcement, as we know were formed as a group of 5 and then Spider-Man joined in but as we grow stronger so does most of our enemies, so that is why we decided to go to our next phase of the Avengers, we will soon begin our expansion plan to this team." Captain America said as everyone started to applaud. "New base? And more team members? That's so cool! I can't wait to see what other superheroes would join." Kamala said. "And now it's time for the fanfiction contest, each of you had put your imagination to the test to see what our adventure would look like." Captain America said. "And our winner is…" he then looked at his envelope to reveal the winner's name which turned out to be… "Kamala Khan!" Captain America announced. Everyone started cheering for her and to Kamala's surprise…"I can't believe it. I won! I won!" she said. "Congrats Kamalakins." Gwen said. "Thanks Gwendy." Kamala said.
Then Kamala finally got a picture with them posing with the Avengers, But BeforeKamala for Gwen and Babs and Kamala to be in. They agreed and then they finally got the shot for the picture. Soon, it was time for Kamala, Gwen, and Babs to head back to Metropolis, while Kamala was smiling at the framed picture with them with the Avengers with their signatures. "I can't believe it! I finally got a picture with the Avengers! And it's officially hand signed by them." Kamala said with excitement. "I'm proud of you Kamala, you deserve it." Gwen said. "Thanks again." Kamala said. "Aw, Babbles, I'm sorry the Annual Convention of Gotham City Enthusiasts wasn't what you hoped for this year. So I gotcha something." Harleen said as she went for her pocket. "You shouldn't... have?" Babs said.
Turns out, it was a signed picture frame of Robin. "Wow, Robin actually gets to sign a picture for you." Gwen said. "I didn't realize what a big Robin fan you were until I saw you blubbering all over his body. Ha! So I tracked him down and got it for ya." Harleen lied, because as it turned out while the Avengers were doing their announcement Harleen as Harley Quinn was threatening Robin to sign her a signature for a picture. "Okay?" Gwen said. Babs then hugged Harleen and said "Oh, Leenie-Beanie, you're the best." After they let go, Babs went to Kamala. "And Kamala, I may not got my wish, but I'm so glad you got yours." Babs said. "Thanks Babs," Kamala said. "You know despite how polluted and crime ridden it looks, Gotham actually doesn't look all that bad." Kamala stated.
Then the Bus came in for Metropolis. "We should get going, guys!" Gwen said. "Right, Rook!" Babs said as soon she, Gwen and Kamala got on the bus. "See you next year!" Babs said. "Bye!" Kamala said. "See you next time!" Kamala shouted.
Harleen then chuckled and said, "Maybe sooner if we're lucky, Babsie- wabsie, Gwendy, and Kamalakins." the duo looked at each other in confusement about what Harleen ment and why she called them by their nicknames but they shrugged both their shoulders and just enjoyed the ride back to Metropolis.
And now we're done with the single chapters. It's time for a little announcement, there will be 3 two part story arcs, that's 6 chapters in total. But here's a catch, one of the two part arcs will be an original so stay tuned.
