Later on that day
"My best friend moved to town. And i cannot believe you were able to keep it from me. This is just the positive news i needed." Brooke proclaimed.
Glenda brightly. "I decided to keep the move quiet plus i wanted to have stuff moved in and settled before i invited anyone over."
"I'm glad you and Luke are having family time with the kids. Don't rush back on my account."
"I'm headed out to catch up with a friend. Give me all the details on this time away once you're back." Glenda insisted.
"I will. I'm so happy about this. I've missed you Glen." Brooke replied. As she closed the video chat screen . Then closed her laptop.
Brooke put her laptop away and made her way into the hallway.
She peeked into Tegan's bedroom.
Smiling sweetly at the sight of Lucas holding her in his arms.
She loved watching him be a dad.
He was natural with their sons. Ready to be present and apart of anything they wanted and needed.
But with their daughter he was soft patient and so loving. He was wrapped around her finger.
It was very sweet to see.
"My favorite Scott woman." Lucas said. Smiling at the side of her.
"I don't mind sharing first place. What were the two of you up too?" Brooke asked.
"Reading to her. Fed her. Changed her." "I wanted some quality time with her and i plan to do the same with the boys."
"I have to head out town for some time." Lucas revealed.
As he carefully placed Tegan in her crib.
"I wasn't going to mention it until we got back but you asked." Lucas added in.
"Where? For what?" Brooke asked.
"Fan events. Things like that. A number of places. I have an official list at home." Lucas replied.
Brooke swallowed hard. "That's great. You getting loved and adored by you're fans." She replied.
