Days Later
With one week down. The family of five made various memories at home. And outside of it. Some captured in recordings and others snapped in pictures.
"Momma how much longer until Tegan can play with us?" Emmet asked. As he poured the sand out of his shoes.
"Ma Ma." Tegan said softly.
Brooke watched as Tegan crawled around. Attempting to stand on her own.
"She's got alot more growing to do before she can play with the both of you. She's still too little." Brooke explained.
"You go wash up for dinner."
"I need to get her settled in the kitchen." Brooke added in.
Axel was already in the kitchen. Setting the table.
When she got to the kitchen with Tegan. She was surprised to find Axel there seated around the table. And Lucas nowhere to be found.
"Where did you're dad go?" Brooke asked. As she placed Tegan into her highchair.
"He had to take a call. He's in the backyard." Axel replied.
Glenda had just came from upstairs. Feeling pleased and accomplished that she was a home owner for the first time. And had done so on her own. She cut her mom out of her life after high school. And she never knew her father. Was an only child.
She planned to watch some tv. And unwind for awhile.
That was before knocking at her front door. Brought her to her entryway.
"Marvin McFadden. What brings you to my door?" Glenda asked.
"I heard from Haley and Brooke that you were back in town and i wanted to know how you were settling in.?" Mouth questioned.
It was then that she moved over and let him into her home.
He followed her inside and she closed the door behind him. Locking it and re turning on her security system.
"I never thought i would come back here. I left right after high school and planned to stay away. Yet i found myself missing my friends and wanting to be closer to them."
"So i came back." Glenda explained.
"Did you come back alone or with a boyfriend or a husband?" Marvin questioned. Out of curiosity and maybe wanting confirmation.
"I'm single. But i didn't come back alone. I'm a mom." Glenda admitted.
Marvin was taken aback by this confession.
