As Lincoln and the rest of his friends are scaling up the mountain, they were getting tired. "Can we stop for a rest?", Leni asked, "I don't wanna mistake something for a mirage again.". "We'll be there soon!", Lincoln said, with Dracula adding, "Yeah, it's just a few more miles.".
"More like a few more days!", Lynn Jr backlashed. "I don't want to do this again!", Drac said all annoyed. Lori just ignored the argument and she looked through her phone. "Well, it's stressful enough that time is winding down.".
Mina is shown on the top of a cliff above the group, and spies on them. Soon, Lincoln stopped. "Do you ever get the feeling that we are being watched?", he asked, and Luan said, "By who?". "I don't know...", Murray said, "But I hope they are friendly.".
Suddenly, Mina jumped down from the cliff, and she startles the group. "Hello there.", she said, which causes everyone to get nervous. "A BAT CRONIE!", Frank screamed, with Luan adding in, "Get away, get away.".
"Wait!", Mina said, "I'm not going to hurt you!", as she shows everyone a truce flag. "Nice try!", Lincoln said, "But that flag isn't fooling anyone.". "Lincoln,", Winnie said, "Don't just a monster by her appearance. That's Mina!". "See?", Mina said, "At least someone knows me that well.".
"Wait?", Lisa said, "So you're this Mina that is from that threat of a letter?". "Yep.", Mina said, "And I want to team up with you.". "We don't fully trust you.", Lori said.
"Okay then.", Mina said, "I'll tell you about why I don't normally like my husband's actions... In a song.". "Oh, you gotta be kidding me.", Luna said.
Soon, Mina sang, "You're a mean one, Mr Bela.", to which everyone soon interrupted. "Wait, don't you mean Mr Grinch.", Lana asked. "Well, let's just say my husband can be a bit grinchy.", Mina interrupted.
"Anyways.", Mina said, as she starts her song all over again. "You're a mean one, Mr Bela. You really are a heel. You're as cuddly as a cactus, and as charming as an eel, Mr Bela!", she sang. "Let me guess.", Luan interrupted, and sang, "He's a bad banana with a greasy black peel.".
"Yeah, you got it.", Mina said, as she continued singing, "You're a monster, Mr Bela.", with Frank and Murray sing in unison, "Your heart is a empty hole!". "Your brain is full of spiders, and you have garlic in your soul, Mr Bela.", Mina sang, with Lori adding in, "You know, I wouldn't touch him with a 39 and a half foot pole.".
"Well, at least she's a good singer.", Luna commented, as she decided to play the song on her guitar. "Yeah, you go girl!", Mina said, as she then sang, "You're a vile one, Mr Bela. You have termites in your smile. You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr Bela.". Lana then sang, "Give between the choice between the two, I'd rather be with the seasick crocodile!".
"Yeah, seasick crocodile!", Mina sang, holding a note. Eventually, her songs ends. "Well, what do you guys think?", she soon asked.
"That was very original.", Mavis said, with everyone argeeing. "But all that aside.", Lincoln said, "Where did Bela take Lucy, Dennis, Clyde, Lola, Leni, and Johnny?". "Oh, I have to tell you that they are almost going to be burnt,", Mina said, "As Morag told my kids to put them in cages over lava!".
"That's terrible!", Lana said. "You're telling me?", Mina said, "When I read that threat letter, Bela says that he's going to execute me!". "Whoa, double whammy.", Frank said.
"But we are so tired!", Lori said, "Our feet can't hold us up anymore.". "Well, you can just go through the elevator.", Mina said, to which there was an elevator right next to them. "Why'd you install an elevator into a mountain.", Lisa asked, and Mina said, "Well, for the injury cronies who can fly or walk, duh!".
"You do have a point.", Lisa said, "Let's go.". Soon, the entire group went into the elevator, and it rises up to the top of the mountain. "There they are!", Lincoln said, pointing to a cage dangling over a lava pit. "Mom!", Dennis said from the cage, "We're up here!".
"I know son!", Mavis said, "Stay calm, and we'll get you free.". Mina, who was the only one strong enough and big enough to carry a cage so big, tries to get there, however, she had to struggle as she thinks her husband might be watching her.
"Dennis, I'm so glad you're safe.", Mavis said, hugging her son. "Lucy, you're alright.", Lincoln said, until he noticed a little cast on her arm. "What happened to your wrist?!", Lincoln said, to which Lucy said, "It's just a little injury while running for my life.".
"What're you talking about?", Dracula asked, "You're not scared of anything.". "Actually, I have a confession.", Lucy said.
"I'm afraid of Bela!", Lucy screamed, to which everyone was shocked. "You must be joking, right?", Ericka asked. "She's not joking.", Leni said all serious. "But why didn't you tell us before?", Lincoln asked. "Because, I just wanted to show you guys how good I am as a leader, but I'm not.", Lucy said.
"Well, being afraid is nothing to be ashamed of.", Lincoln said, "We all have fears.". "Yeah!", Luan said, "Especially the fear of the unknown.". "Thanks guys.", Lucy said.
"Well, well, well.", Bela said with Morag riding his back, "If it isn't Mina and her band of heroes.". "Bela, I know what you're up too!", Mina said, "And you better stop!".
"Fine then.", Bela said, as he flies up to a pedestal with the Dragon Ray. "Prepare to meet your doom, Loud!", Morag said, as she flipped the switch, and a beam of light struck Mina. "Mina!", everyone shouted, "What did you do to her?".
"Well, since she doesn't do what I tell her to do...", Bela said, "I am now controlling her mind, and she will be the one who kills everyone during the extinction!". "What?!", Dennis said. Mina soon transformed into a giant scary version of herself with red eyes, and sharp claws.
"You're gonna die!", the hypnotized Mina said in a raspy voice. "Attack!", Dennis said, as he uses his magic to try to break Mina's hypnosis, while the others fight various bat cronies that appear around the area. "Here we go again.", Lincoln said, as he and his sisters joined the battle as well.
As the sisters fought multiple bat cronies, along with the rest of the monsters, Lucy and Dennis are confronted by Mina. "Now...", Mina screamed, "Which one of you guys should I destroy first!". "Mina, stop!", Dennis said, "You're not like yourself. Please, what are you doing!".
"I don't care about what I'm doing!", Mina said, "I care about violence!". "The Dragon Ray!", Lucy said, "Dennis, you have to destroy it so that Mina will go back to normal.". "On it!", Dennis said, as he flew up to the laser.
"Stop!", Dennis said, "What do you think you're doing?". "I don't really care for people, who are friends with Louds.", Morag said, as she tries to catch Dennis, but keeps dodging her. "I mean face it.", Dennis said, "Why are you so mean anyways?".
"I'm not mean!", Morag said. "Oh yeah, but how come you were jealous of Angus being the Duke, and you being the second in command, huh?". "I'm not jealous.", Morag said. "Well, your anger is building up.", Dennis said, "I can sense it.".
At that moment, Morag stopped, and noticed everyone down there fighting. "Well, if violence isn't the answer. Then watch is?", Morag asked. "Treating others the way you want to be treated.", Dennis said, "Kakie says that's the golden rule.". "I don't know this Kakie or whatever.", Morag said, "But you're going to treat me like trash!".
"No, I won't.", Dennis said, "And I'll explain more, if you turn the machine off.". "Please.", Dennis said with innocence. "Fine.", Morag said with annoyance, and turned off the Dragon Ray. Down below however, the bat cronies were still fighting the group of heroes. Mina was going to kill Lucy, until she turned back to normal.
"What was I doing?", Mina said, and Lucy explained what happened. "That idiot tried to hypnotize me!?", she said with anger, "I'll show her!". "Wait!", Lucy said, "What's Dennis doing?". "You see, imagine if I was like you, destroying everyone I love, because I didn't get what I want.", Dennis said, "Would that make me happy? No, of course not.".
"Don't listen to him!", Bela shouted, "He's just a stupid little midget!". "And what if I would use this Dragon Ray thingy, and kill my new friends? That would be a hurtful thing to do.", Dennis continued. "Wow, you're right.", Morag said. "I am?", Dennis asked.
"Yeah.", Morag said, "You're right about being rejected by someone!". "No, that's not what I'm talking about!", Dennis said, however Morag didn't listen, as she decides to kill Lucy permanently.
"Bela, lower me down!", Morag ordered. "What're you going to do, I thought you want to destroy the world!". "We are.", Morag said, "We're just going to get rid of a certain someone.". Lucy soon noticed Morag and Bela. "Oh, no.", Dennis said from behind a bunch of rocks.
"Prepare to die!", Morag said, as Bela pulls out a scepter, and shoots a beam of magic. "No!!!", Dennis said, as he goes in front of Lucy to protect her, only for the magic to hit him, causing Dennis to get petrified. "No!", Lucy said, noticed Dennis has now turned to stone.
"Well,", Bela said, "That was unexpected, but better than what we expect.". "Not really!", Morag said, "Now that Loud will rule the world with her siblings!", as she and Bela are now in a huge argument, far away about the next dramatic experience behind them.
"Dennis! No!", Lucy said, as she noticed the boy all petrified. Lucy now didn't think of anything else to do, but hugging Dennis while crying. "Lucy, are you okay?", Lincoln asked. "No. I'm not okay.", Lucy said, while crying. "Dennis is... gone!".
"Gone?!", Winnie said, who is sad as well. "He risked his own life to save you, Lucy.", Dracula said, "Why are you sad about it.". "Because, he's more than a friend to me.", Lucy said, "And this might offend you Lincoln, but...".
"He's like a brother to me!", Lucy said. "A second brother?", Lincoln asked with confusion. "Wow, plot twist.", Clyde said. "Yeah, I view him as a second brother.", Lucy said, "Because he's always so kind to me, even though I don't see it at first.".
"That's so sweet.", Mavis said. Soon, Lincoln came over to Lucy and said, "You know, Dennis is also nice to me as well.". The rest of the siblings and Clyde said the same thing, and then Lucy said, "I might have to sacrifice myself as well, just because...", Lucy said, "I love him.".
Suddenly, crackling sounds can be heard, and Lucy backed away from Dennis, as she noticed that the cracking is from him. "What's happening?", Lucy asked, and the other siblings said, "We don't know.".
Dennis soon burst out from the rocky cocoon that he is encased in. "Lucy?", he soon asked, "You said you'd sacrifice yourself for me?". "Dennis!", Lucy said, "You're okay.". "Of course, I am.", Dennis said, "And I heard everyone about what you said, and... you're a good friend too.".
While the two heroes are hugging each other, Bela and Morag said, "Wait a minute.", as Bela said, I thought me and Morag petrified you, and you died.".
"The only person around here with a dead heart is you.", Dennis said to Bela. "Lucy, you know what to do.", Dennis said, causing Lucy to get angry, and eventually, lifted up Bela. "I'll show you scary!", she said, as she soon throws Bela down the volcano.".
Morag, on the other hand, just got put into a cage by Mina, who said, "That's what you get for going down the wrong path!". Soon, everyone celebrated, and Lucy said, "That felt so heroic.".
"It sure did.", Dennis said, "Now, let's go home.". However, what they don't know, is that Bela is now going to become more powerful, so powerful, that it cannot be underestimated.
