All so for this story I am going to change a few things number one being that the academy will end once they turn 15 years old so older than in canon also there will be significant changes to the academy because I feel like it was sorta of bad in canon. Number two Naruto's personality will be significantly altered from canon. Also there are ocs in this chapter but they won't be important for the story

That's it, here's chapter one enjoy.

Chapter 1: The White Room

Naruto was in an all white room, the walls and floors and even his clothes. He looked around carefully analyzing the room where there were several cameras. Recording their every move. He looked to his left seeing the panicked face of a girl although he had never talked to her. She looked as if she were to fall over and faint any minute.

Footsteps rang through the room as a man walked past his desk and collected his paper.

He paid no attention.

Danzo sat across from Hiruzen "This is for the good of the village" he declared staring into the hokages eyes "As long as you're not erasing their emotions can making them loyal to you I will allow it" Hiruzen stated looking at camera footage. A researcher came into the room. "Yet again a perfect score!" he announced "The boy is a genius!" Hiruzen nodded while looking at test results. It was advanced mathematics of ninjutsu theory.

It is an extremely advanced topic usually taught to chunin on the verge of becoming jonin. Hiruzen sighed, when Danzo had presented this idea he was skeptical but now he had proven himself Hiruzen had no choice but to accept. He had done it. The white room was officially online.

"Fine, but here are the rules and I will have anbu making sure these are enforced, understood?" He stated with a sharp edge to his voice "Number one. They will be loyal to the village and not root, Number two, They will have to enter the academy by age nine and lastly no ninja training until age 7" Sarutobi ordered. Danzo nodded, realizing that was the best he could get from Hiruzen.

Naruto's POV

He watched as the other children fell one by one from exhaustion. They had been throwing kunai for hours now and every time someone missed they had to run 3 kilometers. It was rigorous. But the only one who had not run a single meter was him.

He carefully picked up a kunai and a shuriken as a researcher walked by, threw them and hit both targets with ease. He watched as the researcher wrote something down and left. In the end he was left standing while everyone else had fallen.

Naruto looked at the test and frowned. The question read What animal has the potential for combat capabilities at a zoo? Naruto had no idea what a zoo was, maybe he wasn't listening or paying attention while the researchers were explaining. But the other kids seemed to know what it was all except him the only animals that he knew were dogs and cats as they had mentioned in previous tests. He wrote dogs and let the researcher collect his sheet.

The days had started to blur together, becoming one Naruto didn't really know what to do after all he did enjoy some of the tests yet in the back of his mind there was a voice calling and begging for something, something Danzo would get in the way of.

Danzo's POV

He looked at Naruto's test and frowned; it wasn't 100% as usual. He looked at the question he had gotten wrong and sighed that the boy would have to learn the real world someday.

But for now Danzo had done it, he had created an artificial genius, one smarter than any Nara. Naruto always started average or below but grew at an unprecedented rate. Often the first test of a new subject would be 70 or 80 then all following tests for that subject were 100. It was like a tree with infinite nutrients and water once the roots were set up it could grow forever.

He felt quite proud of himself. He had created a source of unlimited potential. His other experiments were nothing to scoff at either. Sai was a good example earning second place in almost every category just behind Naruto.

Students were rated based on physical ability, intelligence, general knowledge and strategic thinking. Naruto had gotten first place in every category. With Sai trailing behind.

Naruto's POV

Naruto analyzed the board carefully considering every possible maneuver he looked at his opponent. Who gave a blank expression. Naruto moved a bishop then a knight and just like that the game was over in half an hour with Naruto's victory. Sai gave no visible reaction merely nodding and standing up to find a new opponent.

Naruto watched as the other children chatted amongst one another. He wondered if he should join the others but decided against it, he didn't want them to know with him or any of his knowledge that he inevitably spilled by interacting with them; it was too much of a risk.

He sat alone eating his rice ball.

Hiruzen sat before Naruto his blue eyes piercing the kages "So Naruto-kun how is the program going" he asked softly "it's a bit to easy for my taste but overall not bad" he replied " but I do have a question" Naruto continued "and what would that be?" Sarutobi asked, "What is the outside world like?" The question threw the elderly man a little off guard "don't worry Naruto-kun you will find that out soon enough " he assured. Naruto stared back at him wondering if the hokage was speaking the truth.

Hiruzen's POV

He wondered if it was a good idea to let the boy into the white room and wondered if this is what Minato and Kushina would want after all Naruto was proving to be a genius, one of a kind like Itachi. He further questioned whether Naruto would succeed as a ninja. Doing well on tests was one thing, surviving on the battlefield was another.

His thoughts went to that of another genius. Itachi Uchiha, a one of a kind but being so young and talented but forced between a rock and a hard place, he hoped Naruto won't undergo the same fate.

Naruto's POV

He watched as his teammates sparred with each other violently trying to attack each other. "Naruto Uzumaki vs Akito Yakamura" Naruto stood and and with an expressionless face encouraged his opponent to attack. He exchanged brief blows before Naruto spun slamming his heel into Akito's face.

He fell back but Naruto pursued, punching him in the stomach, jaw and mouth. The boy fell to the ground in pain and Naruto looked down at him with a blank face.

Danzo smiled in the camera room. He really enjoyed watching these sorts of fights because it just further proved him right. Naruto was a genius both physically and mentally. Most importantly he was a genius Danzo had created. It was proof of his success, confirmation that the white room which he had meticulously designed, planned and created worked.

He sat back in chair, he knew that the village was in good hands.

Naruto found himself unable to sleep, the lights had turned off and the other kids had fallen asleep. He was slightly worried because tomorrow was elimination day. The day a few of the bottom ranking students were kicked out although he wondered what would happen if he got kicked out. But based on some of the rumors those you were kicked out were severely punished and sent to a place much worse. Naruto didn't care much for the thoughts of his other classmates; he would rather not find out.

Another thought creeped into his mind: tomorrow the new children would be joining them and just maybe one of them could give him a good challenge.

Haruki's POV

Haruki sat next to Naruto. He boy was intrigued by Naruto because he never shown emotion once through all the times they have been here from the brutal spars and the difficult exams Naruto had never faltered, not once did he doubt himself or worry at least in Haruki's mind.

He looked over "Hey Naruto." he said with a small smile. Naruto looked back at him "Hello Haruki." he said in a monotone voice. An awkward silence formed between the two as Naruto seemed to just stare around while Haruki was a bit surprised Naruto had almost never talked to anyone before sure there were a few times but those were few and far between.

Naruto looked back at him and asked "What do you think about the outside world?" Haruki almost thought he had been dreaming Naruto had just asked a question something he had never done but he calmed himself "I spent a good 4 years out there when I was young and I don't remember much but all I can say is it was much more colorful than this place." he stated.

Naruto mentally kicked himself in the foot for that question. It would not only break his normal demeanor but would raise questions about himself and his goals. It spilled information that his fellow students did not need to know but although it spilled he was intrigued by Haruki's response.

His thoughts were interrupted by a speaker "Naruto Uzumaki head to the private room" the speaker bellowed and Naruto got up and walked over to the door. He felt the eyes of the other children analyzing his every move before he opened the door and walked in.

He sat in a chair perpendicular to Danzo. "How are you Naruto-kun?" The elderly man greeted "good" Naruto replied, giving him a blank stare. "Well I have a task for you." Danzo said with a small grin "What is it?" Naruto asked Danzo "Among the new fellow students there is one who does not meet the requirements for entry into the facility. I need you to find them and state their name, you have one week" Danzo stated. Naruto thought for a moment it could be an interesting challenge he thought. He looked back at Danzo and nodded.

The children had been quite surprised by recent developments. Naruto had started talking and interacting with others and especially with the new kids. Haruki had observed this and wondered why? Why would he start talking right after he left the private room? Something had happened he just didn't know. Haruki scratched his spiky brown hair and thought about it but could not come up with a reason.

Ayaka's POV

Ayaka was scared, the white walls and ceiling hurt her eyes. She had been told that a particular student named Naruto Uzumaki was searching for her. If she remained unfound she and her parents would receive a significant reward and when she heard she signed herself up immediately but she was growing regretful many students were looking at her and she had no idea who Naruto was. She was worried and the white walls seemed to hurt her eyes.

Naruto analyzed the new children but only one caught him, a small girl with long black hair and green eyes. She looked worried and scared while the others seemed to socialize. He carefully observed her behavior noting several things. She liked to fidget based on constant erratic hand movements. Based on his knowledge people who tend to have erratic movements during periods of stress usually practiced art like Sai. Naruto had seen the boy fidget when he was nervous.

Everyone in the entire white room seemed to come from an orphanage and never once were things like art or any other creative subject mentioned. He concluded that the girl was the imposter.

Now all he needed was her name

He walked over to her. He waved and said "Hello, what's your name?" The girl seemed extremely nervous as if saying her name would get her killed "uhh what's yours?" She blurted out. Naruto debated whether to answer her, he pondered if he should lie or tell the truth he would go with the less risky option "I am Haruki Ito" he stated. The girl seemed to relax and said "I am Ayaka Aoki." Naruto nodded before walking away. He went to the private room and was about to knock on the door.

But his mind wandered that it was too easy it wouldn't have been her. It was too obvious yet all the clues are point and she gave away her name so easily that something is not right He thought to himself.

So for the next seven days he searched everyone else yet were all orphans he couldn't find a clue or anything really that would allow him to suspect someone else he reluctantly submitted his answer.

"Good job Naruto-kun, you are correct it is Ayaka Aoki. If I may ask, "What took so long?" Danzo asked, Naruto gave a shrug "I don't know" Danzo frowned and Naruto left.

Naruto noted a few things. Danzo had weaknesses, one of them being patience; the man did not like waiting. Good that can be useful in the future.
