Beetlejuice was contemplating all the many ways he could destroy the mob of ghosts, but before he could Juice them, he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Beej, let's just go." He looked back at his beautiful Lydia.

"Your right Lyds, they're not worth my time." He took Lydia's hand and started pushing through the shouting crowd and all the way to their Netherworld house. It was a wonderful place with a huge yard and nice furniture inside. But The Maitlands did not like the idea of Beetlejuice being alone in a house with Lydia, so they lived almost all the time in their third of the Outerworld house with the Deetz's and the Maitlands. Beetlejuice opened the door for Lydia and let her inside.

"We should probably get down to the store before crush hour." Beetlejuice said.

"I'll never get used to the crazy names in the Netherworld. What is Crush Hour?"

Beetlejuice smirked, "C'mon Babes! I've told you this before! It's when all the people who were hit by trains or cars go home from work!"

"So, it's like a giant zombie parade?"

"Heck, yeah."

Lydia pulled on her coat and handed Beetlejuice his. "Wonderful." she said sarcastically.

After they had walked down to the store, Lydia looked up at the shelves of crushed bug baby food and sighed.

"You really think the baby will like this?"

"If their anything like their old man." Beetlejuice pulled a huge box of blended crickets, ladybugs, and beetle baby food and brought it up to the front counter to pay for it.

Lydia reclined on the striped couch and groaned. The contractions were getting worse.

"Sounding great babes! Keep it up! Still got a month!" Beetlejuice chuckled from across the couch.

"Stop it Beetlejuice!" She tried to kick him, but he grabbed her leg and ran his fingernail up it until he got to the start of her skirt.

"Can I- "

"NO!" She yelled but he slowly lifted her dress up slightly and rubbed her upper thigh sensually. A small, stifled whimper escaped her pursed lips. Beetlejuice stroked the bottom of her underwear.

"Does my little Lydia like this?" He teased, lifting the panties. Lydia slapped his hand away.

"Beetlejuice, stress isn't good for the baby!"

Beetlejuice sighed and pulled away. "Sorry Babes, got carried away." Beetlejuice laid down in her lap and closed his eyes. "I just miss it. I've had to wait for seven months already."

Lydia looked down at him. "I promise, once the baby is born, we'll have a nice long session in bed, okay?"

"Fine." Beetlejuice muttered. Lydia leaned down and gave him a soft kiss. "I love you, Babes."

"I love you too, Beej." Beetlejuice smiled and went to kiss her, but suddenly, Lydia's face contorted with pain, and she moaned in agony.

"Babes?!" He sat up from her lap. Lydia's eyes were squeezed shut and she was making all sorts of distressed noises. Her hands clutched at her baby bump. "Oh gosh, Oh gosh, Oh gosh! Lyds what's wrong?!"

"I-It's…. I-It's c-c-coming…"

Beetlejuice's eyes grew wide, and his hair turned bright blue from fear. He clutched his wife's hand.

"Are you sure?! We still have a month!"

Her breath grew ragged, and her moans louder. Beetlejuice picked her up and ran her down the stairs and into the Maitlands third of the house.

"Adam! Babs! Help!" Barbra and Adam rushed into the room and looked at Lydia, who was now sounding more like a dying cow. Adam helped Beetlejuice get her onto the couch and Barbra rushed off to call the Doctors. Beetlejuice took Lydia's hand and rubbed it slowly.

"The doctors are coming right now." Barbra said coming back into the room and sitting down by Lydia's legs. "Don't worry honey, their gonna take care of you and the baby." Lydia squeezed her eyes shut and tried to close out the pain of the contractions. "The doctors said to change her into a loose dress before they arrive. Adam, B, stay with Lydia while I go grab one." Barbra went to grab one of her night dresses that would be loose on Lydia. After they had got her changed and settled the doctors arrived and made Adam leave, then they asked Beetlejuice if he would like to leave. He turned his emerald eyes to his wife, who had now been connected to what had to be at least eight IVs and an oxygen mask. He reached down and touched her cheek gently. Lydia opened her eyes tiredly and looked up at him.

"Beej…" She whispered quietly.

"I'll stay.""
