"Okay, Sota, Kirishima, Jiro, Iida, and I will be on offence. Tsu, Todoroki, Tokoyami, Mineta, and Koda will be on defense. Dimentio, you're on goalie."

"And that does what, exactly?"

"Stop the ball," Izuku motioned towards it in the grass, "from getting in our goal." He pointed towards the net.

"Pardon me? I finally agreed to join your team, and you put me on the most idiot job?! Put me on offence, please! At least I would actually be helpful then!"

"Your Quirk would work best as a goalie, ribbit," Tsu said with a smile.

'And you're fast, so you can block it quickly,' Koda agreed.

"He will have to teach me some of that language sometime," Dimentio muttered. "How can you all agree with him? Just because he is the leader, does not mean you have to agree with everything he says!"

"We're not agreeing just because he's the leader," Todoroki said. "We're agreeing because he knows you better than we do, so if he thinks you'd do good on goalie, then you'll be a good goalie."

Dimentio angrily looked at Izuku, then sighed. "First you remove my mask and now this? Alright, say something to convince me, Izuku, because I do not want to be stuck on the defense of defense."

"You have cards on you, right," Izuku asked.

Dimentio pulled out his deck. "I do not think you would find them entertaining, but here you go."

Izuku shuffled the cards a bit, then spotted something. The deck had four joker cards, and an image of Dimentio was on one with a diamond in the background, and his classic grin on the corners to replace the diamonds that were supposed to be there. It almost looked like the Joker of Diamonds card Shi had flicked over to them while he and Olly were playing Go Fish.

The Joker of Hearts had an image of Marx on it. The corners had what looked like a fork and knife crossed over each other in an 'x' shape. Dimentio grabbed the joker cards before Izuku got to see the last two.

"You know what? Let me do it." Dimentio snapped the deck into his own hands and shuffled it professionally.

He pulled out the three of hearts and spades, the two of diamonds and clubs, the fifths of hearts and clubs, and a few other cards Izuku didn't get to see. Dimentio looked at Izuku, awaiting directions.

"Stack 'em in a tower. You know, like those house of cards things." He made the symbol of a house with his fingers.

Dimentio stacked them on his hands. "Well? Where are you going with this?"

You see this one on the bottom, right? The uh..." He tried to peek at it, but Dimentio moved it away.

"The King of Hearts."

"Yeah. Well, he's the corner piece, the one who's carrying everything. If I were to take him out..."

He reached for it, but Dimentio pulled it away again.

"Do not touch my cards. You will not like what you will see on them. They show the future, but only the bad omens."

"The ones with you and Marx looked pretty normal..."

Dimentio gasped and nearly dropped his cards. "No, no no!" He pulled out the card of himself. "Izuku, you were the reason I could not see the omens before! Now that one of pure heart and intentions has gazed upon it..."

"You are so weird," Jiro said.

"Jiro!" Tenya exclaimed rather loudly. "That's is extremely rude!"

Dimentio pocketed the card again. "But I get your point. Blah, blah blah, I am the 'most important player' and all of that junk...But you really should not have touched the cards. I did not mean to pull out that deck. I swear I had another one on me somewhere..."

He brought out another deck, but those cards fell everywhere. He picked them up and fixed the stack.

"Oh...I do not feel like myself today. I am all out of focus. Uhg..." He just put all of the cards back inside of his hat and it popped out of existence. "Apologies..."

"Don't worry about it. Let's just get this training out of the way."

The sports, in order, were soccer, tennis, basketball on the first day, then baseball, volleyball, Slaughterball on the second day. Izuku practiced them in order, always trying to keep Dimentio on the defense team. He took extra care to do so, to prevent Dimentio from potentially getting enraged and chaos ensuing. Dimentio was highly displeased at all of it, and refused to practice Slaughterball and just went home instead.

Izuku confronted Olly about the Magic Circles after they got home. Inko had just finished making dinner and insisted they eat while they talk if they wanted to talk during dinner.

"When you kicked the soccer ball," Izuku swallowed his rice, "a Magic Circle band appeared on your legs."

Olly looked at it. "That explains where these came from. I just thought I never noticed them before." Olly stretched, Izuku hearing a small pop come from his center back. "And after I turned into that beast form...my back pain has gotten a lot worse. Dimentio, do you know any good massages?"

"I do, but why would I share them with you? They are for...personal reasons."

"Mimi?" Izuku asked, finding a perfect chance to get under his skin as revenge for his ditching the team practice.

"Yes. She said her spider form causes her a lot of pain sometimes, so I learned how to massage so it would not bother her as much. She is extremely picky about it."

"That's surprisingly nice of you," Inko said. "But don't forget to eat, Dimentio. You're really thin!"

"My surprisingly common accident of vomiting while I have been here is not helping that much, now is it?"

"Izuku, do you think we could check my back?" Olly stopped for a second to eat. "It was bad before, but it's even worse now, and I've already had to use braces for it...I'm worried the Origami Craftsman will start to stress out about it. You don't want to see him stressed."

Dimentio sighed lightly. "Alright, fine. After dinner I will give you a simple back massage. But this is a once-in-a-lifetime gift, so you had better enjoy it."

"Really? You don't have to, you realize that, right?"

"I am offering, so it is up to you to decline..."

"Ooh, thank you! I'm sure it'll help a lot!"

Dimentio cracked his knuckles, which startled Izuku. "Alright, when did you notice your back was in pain?"

"Shortly after I came here. I noticed my back was in a lot of pain, but I never said anything because Olivia worries like the Origami Craftsman. I feel like she's not quite as bad, but she does worry herself a lot."

Dimentio begun, then stopped rather quickly. "You do not need a massage, you need a cyropractor."

"A what?"

Izuku waved his arms in disagreement. "No way is he going to a cyropractor! We should just get an X-Ray of it before we decide to do anything crazy."

"You hardly have enough money, and Olly is dirt poor. How are we even going to pay for an 'X-Ray?'"

They both looked at Dimentio.

"What? Why are you staring at me like that?"

"You have tons of money, I bet," Olly said. "You're a mercenary, right?"

"Yeah, in coins and other currency. But I have never done any work here, in this world, or in any other worlds on Earth. I have no Earthian currency of any type."

"'Earthian?'" Izuku questioned, but it flew past everyone else's ears. "Oh, wait! Recovery Girl has an X-Ray in her office at school! It's small, but it works, and she'll do it for free. I know, because I've had to use it a few times on my arms."

"You have arms...and you choose to damage them?" Dimentio rubbed the back of his head, messing up his curls. "You really are a strange child, Izuku."

"That probably wasn't a smart thing to say around you."

"I am just confused on why you would waste a gift you have. How could you do something like that? Are your arms alright? Are they durable enough to continue withstanding your punishments?"

"You know what? Nevermind."

"Maybe we can go to Bowser's Flying Fortress? I know Kemek knows a lot about medical stuff. He's the groundskeeper, father of Bowser, the castle medic, and basically everything else. He really needs a vacation..."

"Will he do it for free though?" Izuku asked with a shrug.

"Probably? Even so, Dimentio has coins, so..."

"Okay, I honestly forgot about that. Let's go see if we can figure out what's wrong with your back. It's starting to worry me, and then mom's going to get worried and then-"

"We get it, Izu!" Olly let out a loud huff.

Izuku never liked going through one of Dimentio's portals, it always sent a feeling of static through his entire body. Dimentio seemed to know exactly where Bower's Flying Fortress was currently located in the Mushroom Kingdom's sky. At least it saved them the trip of getting up there in the first place. Dimentio opened the doors with a bow.

"After you."

Bowser's Castle was a lot smaller than Izuku expected. Knowing Bowser, he loved things big, loud, and on fire. Dimentio also opened the door to the throne room for them. Bowser was asleep on his throne, but woke up when the doors slammed shut. There was no time between him opening his eyes to when he spotted Dimentio.

"Hey! What are you doing in here?! Weren't you dead?!"

Dimentio opened his mouth to speak, but was interrupted.

"Wait a minute, you came back for a rematch, didn't you? Well guess what, punk? I fought somebody much mores strong than you, so I'll beat you into the floor this time!"

"If I recall, you also beat me the first time."

"Hey! You weren't supposed to talk! Kemek! Get that dumb clown out of here! His smile's really creeping out Lemmy!"

That made all three of them look at a doorway off to the side. The youngest Koopaling was staring at them through the doorframe. His multi-colored hair was styled in a long mohawk, a stray chunk in the back. Two orange lines marked the back and sides of his head. He ran off, arms out on each side of him.

Kemek strode in, looking as gloomy as ever. His gaze past Dimentio, right to Olly. "Sire! He's with Olly!"

"Huh?! Oh! Well, you better be keeping him under a good lock and chain! He's bound to do something awful to you the second you turn around!"

"Have you heard from O' Chunks?" Dimentio asked, rather politely. "I was certain that such a strong guy like him would come to your kingdom, where he could always display his strength like the humorous gorilla he is!"

"You mean the buff guy I beat up? The strong accent guy? Him?"

"That is the one!"

"Haven't seen him. So what are you doing here anyways, Olly?"

"We just wanted to see Kemek. I heard he was a great medic, and I've been having awful back issues lately."

"Oh? I guess he is the castle medic. I'm sure he wouldn't mind helping you out. Just don't fold him or anyone else in my castle, and we're good."

Kemek sighed. "Follow me."

He exited through the doorway opposite the one Lemmy had been watching them through. He sighed again.

"Are you okay?" Izuku asked.

"I have to do everything around here. It's not like any of us get paid, so I guess I really don't need to think about that. Plus, Lord Bowser likes having me around."

They went inside Kemek's room and he told Olly to wait for him on the bed so he could grab everything he needed. Olly had explained his pain and the want for an X-Ray during their walk-and-talk. Once Kemek left, Olly looked uneasy.

"You okay?" Izuku asked.

"Is this what it's like to go to a doctor? Oohh...I feel all sorts of worry."

"You'll be fine."

"I will wait in the hall," Dimentio said.

"Huh?" Olly blinked. "Why?"

"Because, I tend to make people...uncertain. I think you may feel a little better if I were to leave. Good luck."

Dimentio exited the door to find Lemmy staring up at him. He flinched away from the Koopaling. Lemmy's eyes were odd to Dimentio, as one looked up and the other down. Lemmy grabbed Dimentio's pant leg and tried to lead him along.

"Oh, alright you silly child."

He followed Lemmy to the Koopaling's room. It was huge, with doors leading to other rooms inside. Lemmy walked over to the orange door and walked inside.

"Odd...But I am interested so..."

He walked inside to find it was decorated like a circus. The round carpet looked like a peppermint tent, and there was a collection of assorted balls lying everywhere in the room. Lemmy hopped onto the biggest one, which had been sitting on the carpet before then. He grabbed what looked like a wand.

"Hm? Is this a magic show? How adorable!"

Lemmy was pretty awful at magic, but Dimentio cheered for him nonetheless. Afterwards, he hopped off the ball and did a little dance. It was interrupted when a blue-haired Koopaling opened the door.

"Lemmy! Who is this guy?! What do you think you're doing?!"

"Now, now. I am sure there is a way to come to a decision-"

"Koopalings assemble!" He stomped his small clawed foot.

The rest of the Koopalings piled into the room. The tallest, and most likely eldest, was a black Koopa with a star shaped patch on his eye. Two of them were pink, one wearing a pair of sunglasses and the other was obviously a female-her large pink bow very distinct. There was a second blue one, whose hair was in a sort of cliché mustache shape. The last one had thick black glasses, and his hair was shaped like celery.

The first blue one, the one that called the rest of them, pointed an angry claw at Dimentio. "Who are you and what are you doing in dad's castle? What are you doing in Lemmy's room? Are you going to kidnap him for ransom or something?"

"Hm? No, I believe you have read me all wrong. I am nothing but a humble mercenary and jester, and your brother here was putting on a wonderful show of magic for me. Of course, I will gladly leave, if you wish."

"No!" Lemmy grabbed Dimentio's pant leg. "He actually liked it; unlike you all!"

"He actually likes magic shows?" The mustache-haired one asked. "And if he's in here then father must trust him."

The first blue one crossed his arms. "Hmm...Okay, you seem safe enough. I'm Larry."

"A pleasure." Dimentio bowed. "And your father is Lord Bowser, correct?"

Larry nodded. "Yeah. He's hangin' with Junior right now, but he'll come back here soon I think."

The other blue-haired one returned the bow. "I'm Ludwig Von Koopa. The buffoon next to me is Morton."

"You really like to insult me 'cause I'm not inta fancy stuff like you, huh?" Morton was the one with the star-shaped birthmark.

"Wendy," the female introduced. "Why are you wearing a mask?"

"It it simply the style of my choosing, Wendy."

"I'm Roy." He fixed his sunglasses. "Why're you talking like that? Like, 'it is' and all that junk?"

"It is simply the way I speak."

"I'm Iggy! You look familiar..." Iggy squinted at him through his glasses.

"Your brother here has great talent. Perhaps I could take him as an apprentice? He has a lot to learn, but if it is his dream to become a crowd-pleaser...I could show him a thing or two."

Olly suddenly let out a high-pitched scream, which made everyone jump.

"What was that?" Larry said, shaking.

"Oh no!" Iggy began to panic. "It's the Ghost of Koopa VonHider! Everybody run!"

"Hang on, that was just Olly. I wonder what worried him so terribly." Dimentio walked out of the room, back into the hall. He checked over his shoulder to find the Koopalings all following closely behind him. "Are you really afraid of ghosts? They are simply spirits of those who have fallen, who simply have unfinished business. They are nothing to be afraid of. After all, you could call me a spirit. I am somehow staying alive without a heart. It was torn out by a friend of mine."

The Koopalings screamed and moved away from Dimentio.

"Ahaha! I am only kidding! Let us go check on Olly, shall we?"

Dimentio opened the door to find Olly was trying to calm himself down. Izuku seemed more confused than scared or worried.

"What is the matter? Why did Olly scream? Did Kemek snap your back?"

"If I'd done that, he'd be dead," Kemek said. "Maybe you should stop being so much of a pessimist."

"This can't be real..." Olly muttered into his hands. "Check the scan again."

"Are you-"

"I'm not letting you finish that," Izuku interrupted.

"-alright?"

Kemek showed Dimentio the X-Ray. "To be fair, my stuff is old so I could be wrong, but it looks like Olly has wings buried in his back. That's where the pain's coming from. If he doesn't get them out soon, they could mess up his back, or worse, break it. And that would kill him, so we don't want that."

Lemmy poked his head through Dimentio's poncho. "You okay? That was a pretty loud scream..."

"You have lungs like an opera singer," Ludwig said.

"Huh? There's more of them?" Olly rubbed his eyes. "Is the panic going to my head? I thought Bowser only had one son."

"I think you mean kid!" Wendy poked her head through Dimentio's poncho as well, offended.

"Ah! Sorry! I didn't see you there!" He bowed. "My name's King Olly, but you can call me Olly since I'm friends with your father."

Lemmy looked up his poncho. "Hey..."

He grabbed Dimentio's arm with a force that made him let out a scream that Izuku swore only dogs could hear. Dimentio ripped Lemmy off his arm.

"What are you doing?! Brat!"

Izuku uncovered his ears. "H-hey! Careful with him! He looks pretty young still!"

"That hurt! A lot! You cannot just do things simply because you want to!"

Larry kicked Dimentio in the pit of his knee. "Let my brother go!"

The kick actually managed to make Dimentio stumble and fall, in which Izuku gently grabbed Lemmy so he wouldn't hit the ground. The Koopalings were about the beat Dimentio with their weapons on-hand when Bowser came stomping down the hallway.

"What's this about?! Who was screaming?" He saw his kids. "Are you all okay? Was it one of you?!" He saw Izuku holding Lemmy in his arms. "Why are you holding Lemmy?"

Junior peeked over Bowser's head, implying that he was sitting on Bowser's shoulders. "Lemmy! Are you good?"

"Yep!" He jumped out of Izuku's arms.

Bowser did a quick head count of his kids to make sure they were all there, then turned to Olly. "Why do you look so stressed out? You're like what, ten? You shouldn't be stressed over anything."

Kemek sighed and went over the issue again.

"Gwahaha! That's a simple fix! We can just rip them out!"

"That might kill me!" Olly said, cowering behind Izuku.

"Can't you fold yourself? Why not just fold the wings out?"

"If I could, I would. The thing is, I'm likely to have had these the entire time. I folded into winged animals a few times, so they would have been used as the wings. I don't think I can fold them."

Dimentio rose from the floor, floating for the first time in a while. "Aahh..." His hand was shaking a little, Izuku saw.

"Are you okay?" Izuku asked Dimentio.

"Are you kidding me?! That child nearly cost me my hand! This is what I get for trusting anyone."

"Dimentio, wait!"

He teleported away. Lemmy looked pretty upset about the situation.

"I'm sorry..."

Bowser crouched down to Lemmy's level. "What's wrong? What happened?"

Olly floated next to Bowser. "Well, you know how Dimentio has no arms, right?"

"Yeah, it's pretty obvious."

"Well, I think Lemmy got curious and kind of crushed his...'arm.'"

"But he doesn't have arms?" Izuku said, confused.

"It's not like he doesn't have arms," Kemek answered. "If he didn't he wouldn't have hands either. But it's more like a strange energy that makes up his arms. Didn't you notice his poncho moved with where his arms should be?"

Olly nodded. "Let's just assume-for now-that Dimentio's mother had taken some sort of blow to the stomach when he was still unborn. He would've died, but the magic inside of him kept him alive. That would make sense as to why they thought he would die before he even had a chance at life."

"How do you know how-" Izuku started. "Actually, you know what? I'm not going to ask. Keep going."

"Let's say-in this example-that the damage caused his arms to die instead of him. We assume at this point he was nearly 'ready.'"

"Please stop that."

"Stop what?"

"Nothing. Keep going."

"Anywho, the magic formed makeshift arms. But the catch is, his hands were fine. Undamaged even. That's at least why I assume he has hands but no arms. Magic is powerful and unpredictable, so anything can happen. Dimentio's arms being made of such is completely possible!"

Izuku sighed. "I'll go talk to him. He can't be far, I don't think."

"Are you sure? He can get pretty uh...looney when he gets upset at you, Izuku. Remember when he tried to murder you with a knife in Dimension D?"

"Just stay here."
