The Ultimate Worst Generation: Databook

This is a supplemental companion to my story 'The Ultimate Worst Generation' modeled in part after the One Piece Databooks. It will provide a little more information on the various new characters added from the 5 crossover series and can serve as a reference for those who want it. The added series are Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Black Clover, Akame ga Kill, and RWBY.

Brief History:

While it is not known if she was actually born on Rosemary Island in the South Blue, it is known that Erza was at least abandoned as a newborn there with a note that only gave her first name, Erza. Little is known of her youth there but it didn't last long before before cultists from the Grand Line attack the one village on Rosemary and killed all the adults while capturing all but one of the children including Erza. They were then taken as slaves to an unnamed island in the first half of the Grand Line that due to what the cultist had built there could only be found by an eternal pose that they created.

All that is known of what happened on this island comes from Erza and the gradual confessions of the cultist leader who is to date the only one to be arrested for the crimes committed by the cult. Said leader is also a former slave who was once a friend of Erza and gave her the family name she goes by due to her red hair. How a former slave became the cult's leader is unclear though it appears that he was manipulated.

Regardless, Erza and all the other kids from her village, along with many others from all over the South Blue, were made slaves of the cultists and ordered to build a technological tower that they call the Tower of Heavan. While it is believed that the tower had some dark purposes, the exact nature of it remains unclear as Erza didn't know what it was for and what little has been gleamed about the former leader's objectives indicated the he too was lied to about the true nature of the Tower by whoever manipulated him.

All that is irrelevant now. What is relevant is that Erza was imprisoned and enslaved here for several years during which time she was tortured so bad that she lost her right eye as a result. It has since been replaced by a high tech artificial one of an unknown source between her time as a slave and emergence as an infamous rookie pirate.

According to Erza, which has since been corroborated in the confessions of her former fellow slave turned cultist leader, she led a slave uprising shortly after the torture that cost Erza her eye. During the uprising an old slave with a tattoo on his back and many stories of a youth spent adventuring sacrificed himself for Erza and gave her the Requip-Requip Fruit telling her that it would give her the power she needed to escape.

It is unconfirmed if she ate the Devil Fruit then and there but she did manage to escape on a small boat. It is also confirmed she was cornered by the former slave turned cultist who let her go and has confessed to manipulating her escape to his own ends.

Still, she escaped and somehow managed to make it all the way to the West Blue seeking out a former comrade of the old man who had saved her as he apparently had the same tattoo and would take in any stray and train them up to be a strong warrior. This is what drove Erza and she eventually reached the island of Magnolia in the West Blue where this man was located shortly after Natsu and a few others arrived.

There she was trained in martial combat, which played into the nature of her Devil Fruit, and grew up with them as her family and establishing herself as one of the strongest swordswomen of her generation. This is something that the power of the Requip-Requip Fruit aided in but only in what she could carry, her skills are pure training.

As a result, combat wise, she's considered the strongest on her crew but did not take the captaincy when it was formed, deferring to Natsu and accepting the position of swordswoman of the Fairy Tail Pirates and becoming one of the original 5 members of the crew. This is on the back of an already well established reputation as a bounty hunter that made her feared in the West Blue despite her age.

As such she was the only other notable crewmember when the Fairy Tail Pirates entered the Grand Line and played a key role that was second only to her Captain's role in the downfall of a Warlord. Erza's own actions and notoriety in that incident earned her a starting bounty of 87.5 million berries.

Following a subsequent incident that destroyed the Tower of Heavan, which was ignored by the World Government for some reason, and another one involving a notorious criminal organization that couldn't be ignored Heavan one her bounty was doubled to 175 million. It was during the latter which the former cult leader was captured and sentenced to death though that sentence has been suspended as he regains his memories and fully confesses to his crimes which have revealed much of Erza's history before she reached the West Blue.

Due to Erza's bounty exceeding 100 million berries before the Fairy Tail Pirates entered the New World, Erza is considered a Super Rookie. Due to this, she, along with her Captain, reached Sabaody at around the same time as 20 other Super Rookies and was present on the archipelago for Straw Hat Luffy's assault of a Celestial dragon so Erza is also classified as one of the 22 Supernovas and as such is a member of the Worst Generation. She is one of only 5 female pirates to earn this moniker.
