I'm still sick (fever, if you were wondering.), but I already have the entire plot for this laid out in my mind, so I'd love to get this done.

I'm sick, don't judge my possible mess-ups.

"So?" The girl said, "Will you take the job offer?"

Zane looked at the ginger-haired girl and nodded, "I guess I will."

She clasped her hands and smiled, "Then I'll go get the waiver."

‐Vanilla-

The gingerhead nearly laughed at the face her new chef made at the mention of waivers, "Don't worry, it's just a joke." She said, watching the color return to his face.

"Oh, by the way, I don't think I know your name."

The blonde man looked at her and replied, "Zane."

"Nice to meet you, Zane." She said, acting like they hadn't been talking for around twenty minutes. "My name is Vanilla."

Vanilla stood up and left to go get the piece of paper.

-Zane-

She is quite unique, her name too. Zane thought, waiting for Vanilla to come back.

He waited a while- precisely three minutes and forty-eight seconds- before she came back, holding a sheet of paper in her left hand. Vanilla placed the paper on the table and pointed to the bottom,

"Sign here and you're officially hired." She said, putting a black pen down on the table. Zane slightly hesitated, but signed the paper. He could have sworn that Vanilla's eyes lit up, but when he looked at them, he didn't see any such thing.

Perhaps I imagined it, although nindroids don't imagine, as far as I know. He thought, handing back the pen.

-Vanilla-

Vanilla very much wanted to shout for joy, but decided to keep herself composed infront of her newly-hired chef.

"Well, I guess I should probably show you where you'll be working from now on." She said, picking up and folding the sheet of paper. Vanilla exited the room, bumping into her father as she did so. Giving a quick goodbye, she left the building.

-Zane-

The longer he had talked with Vanilla, the more Zane had begun to think that she didn't know that he was one of the ninja. Whatever her thoughts, it was nice to not be treated differently than others.

Zane passed by his now-former employer. The man said a short goodbye- one that Zane returned, although much more polite. He looked around his old workplace, Zane hadn't worked there long enough to become attached to it or anything, but it was a place that he thought he'd keep in memory.

The gingerhead led the way thru to the exit, hailing a taxi when they got to the street.

I wonder where I'll be working now. Will I be interacting with other people? Zane thought, sitting down in the yellow car. Probably, if the household is big enough.

"And... stop!" Vanilla said to the taxi driver. "We're here."

Zane looked out of the window and saw a grand mansion sitting atop two flights of stairs, framed by bushes and potted plants. So this is where I'll be working now, interesting.

-Vanilla-

"Come on, let me show you around." She said, climbing out of the car and running to the bottom of the steps. Vanilla looked back to see her new private chef have a little difficulty getting out of the taxi.

Stifling a laugh at the sight, she doubled back to help.

I kind of like this new chef already, and it hasn't been been a week. She thought.
