Chapter 19: Xana's First Swim
A few of the Shane Gang were gathered around the new lagoon they made for Dew and Reolin. They were all dressed in their swimwear. Xana was wearing a baby swimsuit with rainbow patterns. "You ready for your first swim, sweetie?" Will asked as he carried his baby daughter. Xana squealed happily. The members all went into the lagoon for a swim.
"Alright, Xana. Here we go." Will said as he and Xana walked into the lagoon. Xana giggled as she felt her body enter the water for the first time. "Okay, Xana, I'm gonna let you go now." Will said. He slowly let go of Xana and she slowly floated around in the lagoon. "See? Feels good, right?" Will asked. Just then, Xana dove under the water. "Xana? Xana?" Will called out with worry. But then, Xana floated back above the water, giggling. "Phew. You shouldn't scare Daddy like that." Will said.
Just then, Dew floated up, giving Xana a ride. Xana giggled as Dew swam her around her family. Suddenly, Beeker playfully squirted his water gun at Xana's face, making her giggle some more. Everyone laughed as they continued swimming together.
Unknown to them, a figure was watching them from above in the trees, hidden from their sight. It was a woman wearing a white hooded cloak that covered her whole appearance. She eyed little Xana as she splashed around playfully in the lagoon with her family. "Soon, you will be the key to save my universe one day, little Xantara." She said before she disappeared in white mist.
Later, Eliza was drying Xana with a baby towel after they finished swimming in the lagoon. "There we go, Xana. It was a lovely day for your first swim, right?" Eliza asked. After she finished drying her, Xana squealed as she pointed at something. Eliza looked over and saw a lone vase with a strange beautiful flower on the table. She inspected the flower. "Strange. I've never seen this kind of flower before. It's nothing like the flowers I've seen on the Surface or in Slugterra either." She said. "But I have a feeling that whoever left this flower is giving us a sign. A sign that we're in for bigger adventures in the future."
Meanwhile, in a dark cavern, a familiar hooded female figure walked up to what appeared to be a large door that was sealed with all 13 elemental symbols on it. She took off her hood, revealing herself to be Heltora. "Finally, it is time to release the darkness of the beasts that have been locked up for so long." She said. She then held up a very dark crystal. As she held it out towards the seal, the dark crystal fired a powerful dark energy beam and hit the seal. In a few seconds, the seal broke and the door slowly opened for the first time. Once it was open, several multiple glowing eyes opened in several dark colors with growls of evil. "You are all free and will do anything under my command." Heltora said. The creatures stepped out from the door, revealing themselves to be…Omentaurs! They let out very loud howls and roars into the air as Heltora cackled victoriously.
