The Autobots and Decepticons were still locked in an intense stalemate with the Hexside Squad still imprisoned in the Cons' glass containers. Gus could only lean against the glass with his hands in his pockets.
"This isn't how I wanted my first trip to Cybertron to go." Gus admitted in unhappiness.
"That makes two of us, Gus." Skara agreed.
"Starscream." Megatron said as a way to signal his Second In Command.
"Luz, Amity, it's time to come out and play." Starscream said with a playful smirk, scratching on the container's glass slowly.
"Wouldn't you rather play with the big Cybertronians instead of the Autobots?" Thundercracker asked deviously.
"Whatever you're gonna do, just get it over with!" Luz shouted with a strong glare.
"Luz, what're you saying?!" Amity asked rhetorically, fearing for her girlfriend's life.
"Optimus and the others were willing to give their lives away just to save my world, so I'll do the same for theirs." Luz proclaimed.
"So will we!" Willow stated as she and Gus glared at Knock Out, Breakdown and Wildrider.
"We're not scared at all." Hunter said with a firm expression.
"Do your worst, Decepti-jerks!" Skara taunted, while Vee simply gulped in nervousness.
"Doing the worst is our specialty." Wildrider replied, bringing out one of his blades for extra intimidation. "Lord Megatron?"
"Perhaps we should oblige them." Megatron said, turning to the Autobots.
"If my decision dooms the future of the Autobot cause on Cybertron, so be it. But I will never forsake our young friends." Optimus declared before he stabbed the Star Saber straight into the ground and stepping back, showing his surrender.
The other Autobots knew they didn't have another option and they all deactivated their respective relics before tossing them next to the Star Saber. The Hexside Squad could only watch their Autobot friends accept defeat with sad expression, feeling a little bit responsible for this incident.
"Smart choice, Autobots." Skywarp sneered.
"Now if you please, the Omega Keys. One for each container at a time." Megatron told his foes.
Knock Out, Breakdown and Wildrider stepped forward first with Willow and Gus.
"You first, Wreckers." Knock Out said, gesturing to Bulkhead and Wheeljack.
"And don't think about trying to sneak attack us." Breakdown warned, bringing out his hammer and lowering it at their prisoners. "If you know what's good for your pets."
Bulkhead and Wheeljack looked at Optimus, who nodded towards them as a sign to say they should do it. The two Wreckers slowly approached the Cons with the first Omega Key in Bulkhead's hand.
"If we don't get the kids, I'll make you eat this key." Bulkhead said with a spiteful glare, slamming the key into Knock Out's hand.
"You can keep them. We don't even care about these insects." Wildrider replied.
"You're welcome." Knock Out said with a smug smile, allowing Wheeljack to grab Willow and Gus' container.
"Get scrapped, rust-buckets!" Gus insulted.
"Well said, Gus." Wheeljack replied before he and Bulkhead walked back to their team with their Partners.
Next up, Bumblebee, Jazz and Smokescreen walked up to Soundwave as he held the container with Hunter, Vee and Skara. The yellow Autobot held the next Omega Key as Soundwave held out his container for then to take for the exchange.
"What's the magic word, tech-head?" Smokescreen questioned playfully, only getting silence from Soundwave. "Oh yeah, silent type. Keep forgetting."
"Just give him the key already." Skara said with an eye roll as Bumblebee did just that, immediately taking the container in his hand.
"If you tried doing anything to them, we'll make sure you live to regret it." Bumblebee threatened.
"You kids doing okay in there?" Jazz asked.
"We're still alive. That's something." Vee replied, smiling sheepishly.
As Bumblebee, Jazz and Smokescreen walked back to their team with their Witch partners safely in their care, Optimus kept glaring at Megatron and the Decepticon leader smirked at him. Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp stood next to their leader with Luz and Amity in their container.
"If this human girl was important enough to entrust with the Matrix of Leadership and be gifted with magic from an entirely different realm, she and her companion are worth two Omega Keys." Megatron told the Autobots.
Optimus nodded to Arcee and Cliffjumper, who walked towards the Seekers with the last two Omega Keys. Starscream placed Luz and Amity's container on the ground.
"No tricks." Starscream ordered, aiming his wrist missiles at them. "The keys, if you please."
"Just do it and your little friends are back in your care." Thundercracker said with fake sincerity.
Arcee and Cliffjumper looked at each other before they placed both Omega Keys in Starscream's hands, taking the container with their young partners inside.
"Now that's wasn't so hard, was it?" Skywarp asked with a smirk, stepping back with his two comrades.
Arcee and Cliffjumper kneeled down to Luz and Amity and all four of them smiled softly at each other.
"Sorry we costed you those keys, guys." Luz apologised, rubbing her arm.
"We should've just gone to the base and stayed with Ratchet." Amity added sadly.
"Relax, you two. We're gonna fix this somehow." Cliffjumper reassured.
But then, the reunion moment was ruined when a Ground Bridge opened up and a bunch of Vehicons rushed out of it with their blasters aimed at the Autobots, surrounding them and the Hexside Squad while Megatron and his followers looked on with the Omega Keys in their possession.

In the Autobot base, Ratchet was keeping a close eye on the main console's communicator in case Optimus or any of the Bots called for an update on their mission. Just then, he started receiving a call and sighed in relief.
"Optimus, were you successful?" Ratchet asked, only to get a different caller again.
"No, Ratchet. It's me, Camila." Camila replied on her side of the call.

Luz's mother was shown to be standing in her house's living room while looking out the window with a concnerd expression.
"How are you, right now?" Camila asked.
"Ah, uh…busy, Miss Noceda." Ratchet replied awkwardly. "I'm expecting urgent news from the Autobots."
"Okay, are Luz and her friends with them?" Camila questioned.
"No. Why?" Ratchet asked.
"They still haven't come back from school and Luz's phone keeps putting me on voicemail." Camila answered.
"I will have Luz contact you immediately should I hear from her or the others. Now if you'll excuse me, I must keep the com-lines clear." Ratchet said before hanging up.
"Wait, Ratchet? Hello?" Camila called, only to get no response and sigh softly. "Please be okay, Mija."

Back on Cybertron at the Omega Lock, the Autobots and the Hexside Squad were still surrounded by the Vehicons as Megatron approached the Omega Lock with him, Starscream, Soundwave and Knock Out holding the keys, while Thundercracker, Skywarp, Breakdown and Wildrider stood by to watch.
"Now, bear witness as a new era dawns on Cybertron." Megatron said before he and his three followers inserted the keys into their slots, creating a small hologram of Cybertron and powering up the Energon circle above them. "Behold, the age of the Decepticon!"
When Megatron pressed on a red holographic button, a huge energy beam shot out from the Omega Lock and made contact with a destroyed Cybertronian building. The Autobots, Decepticons and Hexside Squad watched as pieces of metal began to float near the building and it was consumed by a bright light, revealing it to be shiny silver and completely rebuilt like brand new.
"By the Allspark." Optimus whispered in astonishment.
"Amazing." Bumblebee said.
"That's incredible." Vee gasped.
"Wow." Willow, Hunter and Skara said in union
"That's what I call an instant home makeover." Cliffjumper complemented.
"Shiny." Knock Out said, smiling impressively.
"A few more shots from that laser and Cybertron will be completely brand new." Skywarp remarked.
"Music to my audio receptors." Breakdown added.
"You have what you want, Megatron. This conflict is between Autobots and Decepticons." Optimus told his old enemy. "Allow me to return the children back to Earth."
"Oh, I wouldn't recommend it. They'll be far safer here." Megatron replied, making Optimus narrow his eyes suspiciously. "Is the Space Bridge locked on target?"
"Per your instructions, Lord Megatron." Starscream answered.
"Excellent. Why rule only one world, when I could rule three?" Megatron asked before a huge Space Bridge suddenly appeared over the Omega Lock.
With a single press of the red button, Megatron had the Omega Lock fire a ginormous energy beam directly into the Space Bridge.
"No." Optimus said in horror as he understood what Megatron's intentions were.

On the other side of the Space Bridge, the green vortex appeared in the center of the teleportation machine and the energy beam shot out of it straight down towards Earth. In Gravesfield, Camila was still trying to get a message or phone call from Luz before the sudden sound of an earthquake made her quite shocked and she rushed out the front door. Upon seeing the energy beam shooting down from the sky in the distance, Camila gasped in total astonishment and dropped her phone.
"Dios Mio." Camila whispered.

Ratchet could also tell something was wrong at base since all the electrical machinery was malfunctioning.
"Optimus, do you read? An unknown energy spike in Earth's atmosphere is crashing all systems." Ratchet informed on the communicator. "Please tell me this is related to the activation of the Omega Lock."

Team Prime and the Hexside Squad kept watching the beam in concern.
"If the Omega Lock is able to restore Cybertron, will it do the same thing to Earth and maybe even the Boiling Isles?" Amity asked nervously.
"If the Cons ever find a way to get to our world, that is." Gus added.
"No. It will cyber-form the Earth in favour of it's new Matrix. Destroying all indigenous life in the process." Optimus answered solemnly.
"What?!" Luz asked in horror. "They're going to turn Earth into another Cybertron and kill everyone on it?!"
"And do the same thing to the Boiling Isles, one day?!" Skara questioned.
"You all do know that it'll take a long time for us to find the world these Witches live in." Thundercracker told his comrades.
"We have our Space Bridge. I'm sure that with the right amount of upgrades and some info we can probably find on Earth, we'll be able to get to this Boiling Isles." Knock Out reassured.
"Such raw power. What shall I call my new domain? New Kaon, or perhaps gilded Earth?" Megatron asked menacingly.
Optimus could only watch what was happening in silence before he turned to the Hexside Squad.
"No! You can't do this!" Luz yelled, banging on the glass.
"Leave Luz's world alone!" Willow shouted angrily.
"And don't you even think about going after ours!" Hunter added.
"You monster!" Vee called out with a glare.
Optimus turned his attention back to Megatron, who laughed triumphantly with the rest of the Decepticons as they thought this was the day they finally won. Knowing that there was no other way and what he was about to do next may doom the future of Cybertron himself, Optimus clenched his left hand and shifted it into a blade before immediately slicing away at one of the Vehicons, making him crash into Knock Out. Megatron then saw the Autobot leader rushing to the Star Saber and grabbing it before slicing down three Vehicons with it. With a shout of anger, Megatron brought out his Dark Star Saber and charged at Optimus as his old foe did the same. As soon as they both clashed their blades against each other and they bounced back, Optimus immediately took the opportunity to cut off Megatron's Liege Maximo arm and the Decepticon leader gasped in pain as his Dark Star Saber crashed into the floor with his severed arm still holding onto it. Optimus ran past his old enemy and went straight for the Omega Lock as Soundwave, Thundercracker, Skywarp and Knock Out began firing their blasters at him, causing the Autobot leader to deflect them with his blade. Breakdown and Wildrider brought out their weapons and charged at Optimus for an attack, but the Autobot leader effortlessly knocked them away with one swipe from the Star Saber. Starscream fired one of his wrist missiles and Optimus narrowly dodged it before he jumped off the air commander and brought the Star Saber straight down onto the Omega Lock with a shout, creating an insanely huge explosion that blasted everyone away and consumed the massive structure.

On Earth, the Omega Lock's beam disappeared and Ratchet could tell this had happened from the base as he saw the terminals working again.
"Optimus, can you read?" Ratchet asked.
"Ratchet, please open a Space Bridge." Optimus said on the communicator, sounding exhausted and a little bit depressed.
Ratchet could tell something serious happened, but did what his leader had told him.

The Omega Lock was shown to be completely destroyed in a burning wreckage of metal as Team Prime and the Hexside Squad saw Optimus walk out of the smoke with the Star Saber on his back. A Space Bridge portal appeared near them and the Autobots quickly started rushing into it with the containers holding their young friends. Starscream and the other Decepticons recovered from the explosion while coughing a bit, but they were all horrified to see that their only way to restore Cybertron was now destroyed and up in flames.
"I don't…believe it." Wildrider muttered in disbelief.
"The Omega Lock is destroyed." Skywarp said.
"I guess we should cancel the welcome home party." Knock Out quipped before he was immediately smacked away by Starscream.
"Attend to our master!" Starscream ordered angrily. "He requires medical attention!"
Knock Out and Breakdown quickly rushed to Megatron, who was still a bit injured from Optimus' attack.
"Next time, Knocks, keep your mouth shut." Breakdown muttered to his teammate.
The other Decepticons turned their attention to the Autobots' Space Bridge, which then closed up once they made it in.
"Slagging cowards!" Thundercracker scowled angrily.
"PRIME! You will pay for dooming Cybertron to remain a lifeless husk!" Starscream yelled out.
However, the Decepticons were surprised and confused when they heard Megatron laughing deviously as Knock Out and Breakdown helped him stand.
"They can run, but they can never again run home." Megatron proclaimed with a smirk.

At the Autobot base, Ratchet looked at the Space Bridge to see the Autobots emerging out of it with the Hexside Squad still in their containers.
"The children? What happened?" Ratchet asked, only to be met with an uncomfortable silence as the Hexside Squad were taken out of their glass prisons. "Somebody say something."
"Optimus…destroyed the Omega Lock." Bulkhead said sadly.
"He charged ahead with the Star Saber and blew up the whole thing." Jazz added.
"What?! You did-" Ratchet began to say, very astonished.
"What was necessary." Optimus interrupted with his head down. "There was no time for another prolonged battle, not with Earth in imminent danger."
"So you destroyed the only device in any universe capable of restoring our home?" Ratchet asked with an extremely shocked and disheartened expression. "Optimus…we needed that."
"You weren't there, doc. And it's not your place to second guess a battlefield decision." Smokescreen replied defensively.
"It most certainly is! There had to be another way!" Ratchet stated, feeling a bit angry now.
"It wasn't that simple, Ratchet." Luz told him.
"Megatron was using the Omega Lock to coat the whole Earth in metal and kill everyone on it." Amity said with a frown. "And he would've done the same to the Boiling Isles."
"Optimus saved the planet. The one we've considered a second home." Gus added.
"What about our planet?! All of our struggles and Energon spilled, countless sacrifices for nothing?!" Ratchet questioned furiously.
"That's all you're thinking about? Just the fact you're never gonna revive your world again?" Willow asked in disbelief. "The Decepticons were going to kill us if the Bots didn't give them those keys."
"It's not just about Cybertron, Ratchet. It's about every world." Vee protested.
"And most of us still need to get back to the Boiling Isles. You're not the only ones who can't go home." Hunter reminded.
"When has that Boiling Isles ever been a part of this war?!" Ratchet demanded with a glare.
"It hasn't, but it's still important to us!" Skara argued.
"I've been taught so much from that world, Ratchet! It's in danger and we need to help it, just like Earth and Cybertron!" Luz stated.
"Guys, calm down. This isn't the time." Cliffjumper told them calmly, but his words fell on deaf ears.
"This entire mission to get Omega Keys and activate the Omega Lock never had anything to do with the Boiling Isles!" Ratchet shouted, losing his temper with the Hexside Squad. "None of our mission have ever been about that world of magic!"
"So what're you even saying?!" Amity questioned angrily.
"That your world doesn't matter and it never will!" Ratchet yelled.
As soon as the Hexside Squad heard this from the Autobot medic's mouth, they all silently gasped in shock and reminded silent as the other Autobots did this as well, while Ratchet continued to have a furious look on his face. Hearing him say that the Boiling Isles didn't matter made them feel like he didn't even care about Luz's friends being torn away from their own home. After a few more moments of silence, Amity put on a disgusted and angry frown before she immediately turned away and prevented herself from feeling any sad emotions. Ratchet began to realise what he just said about his Witch allies' world and looked regretful, while Luz hid her expression under her hat and walked after her girlfriend.
"Children, wait…" Ratchet said remorsefully as Hunter narrowed his eyes and nodded to Willow and Gus, causing them immediately to follow him to the hangout platform without looking the Autobot medic in the eye. "I-I didn't…"
Skara shot a venomous glare at Ratchet before she followed her friends, along with their Palismen as they felt very bad for their owners having their feelings broken. The only one left was Vee, who only stared at Ratchet with her eyes watering up.
"Vee…" Ratchet said, unable to come up with a good excuse or apology.
Instead of talking to the Autobot she considered her second closest friend after Jazz, Vee stepped back and let a single tear drip out of her right eye before she slowly walked away to be comforted by the others. All Ratchet could do is stare at the heartbroken Hexside Squad in guilt, knowing that what he just said may have torn up his friendship with them.
"Ratch…that was just low. Even for you." Wheeljack said in disappointment. "You've gotta bury what happened on Cybertron, right now."
"Jackie's right. Right decision or wrong, what's done is done." Arcee added. "But we have another problem here on this world. The Cons just changed the rules when they put the kids into play."
Just then, the main console started to receive an urgent communication call.
"Prime! The Pentagon's preparing to go def-con-one!" Agent Fowler called out. "I need to know what we're dealing with!"
"To what do you refer, Agent Fowler?" Optimus asked as he and the other Bots looked at him on the screen.
"Maybe you should step outside and see for yourselves." Fowler told them.
"Ratchet…watch the children." Optimus said firmly.
Although they felt concerned about what was about to happen next, the Hexside Squad were still sitting on the hangout platform's couches in sadness, still hurt by Ratchet's words. They also didn't feel like getting involved.

Outside the base and on it's roof, the larger elevator opened up and Team Prime arrived ontop from the platform. When the Autobots looked ahead, they were all shocked to the Sparks to see a ginormous Cybertronian tower that was dark-rusted and reached all the way up to the clouds. Agent Fowler's helicopter flew right towards the base and landed near the Autobots, allowing the special agent to exit his aerial vehicle for a debriefing of the situation.
"Just to be certain, we're all seeing that giant scary tower in the distance, right?" Cliffjumper asked, still a bit shocked on the inside.
"Yes, Cliff. We're seeing it." Arcee replied.
"Megatron has managed to accomplish the first phase of his cyber-forming of Earth. The construction of his fortress." Optimus said.
"Darkmount." Jazz identified.
"Next door to Gravesfield, Connecticut? I don't get it. I've already had the town evacuated." Fowler said in confusion. "Why here?"
"Guys, look!" Bumblebee stated as he pointed towards Darkmount.
The Autobots and Fowler followed his gaze and they saw the Nemesis descending from the dark clouds and it headed straight for them.
"Because the Decepticons have discovered the location of our base." Optimus announced with narrowed eyes.
Ontop of the Nemesis from it's main docking area, Megatron stood on the very roof of his warship with his right arm still served. Soundwave, Knock Out, Breakdown and Wildrider stood beside him.
"Our opportunity to revive Cybertron has been lost, due to the treachery of Optimus Prime! But from our fortress of New Kaon, we will instead seize control of this world! And very soon, we shall spread out great conquest to the realm of magic and harness all it's infinite power to make us the greatest force in the universe!" Megatron shouted out victoriously, turning to an armada of white Vehicon flyers with red Decepticon symbols. "DECEPTICONS, TRANSFORM AND RISE UP!"
"All hail Megatron!" The Vehicons cheered with their arms up.
"I thought he'd never ask!" Skywarp remarked excitedly.
"Let's show those Autobots what we're truly made of!" Thundercracker stated with an eager grin.
"My thoughts exactly, Thundercracker!" Starscream replied before he, his two Seekers and the Vehicons rushed ahead and transformed into their vehicle forms, flying directly towards the Autobot base with Team Prime in their sights. "Come, my armada! Attack! Attack! ATTAAAACK!"
The members of the Seeker armada began firing their lasers at the Autobots and they quickly avoided the shots, making Starscream and his minions fly past them. The Autobots fired their blasters at the armada and they quickly turned around to see an Insecticon swarm incoming, with one of them knocking away Bulkhead. Optimus, Bulkhead, Cliffjumper and Wheeljack quickly disposed of some Insecticons with their blades and wrecking ball respectively while Bumblebee and Arcee took them down with physical contact and Jazz and Smokescreen blasted some more. After slicing an Insecticon with the Star Saber, Optimus used his weapon to shoot an energy wave and explode a large number of them. But then, Starscream and his armada returned and fired another barrage of laser shots.
"We're outnumbered!" Wheeljack stated, deflecting some shots with his swords.
"Autobots, into the base!" Optimus ordered.
The Autobots started to get back on the elevator platform, but Bulkhead noticed Fowler getting into his helicopter.
"Fowler, what're you doing?!" Bulkhead asked.
"My job, two-tone!" Fowler replied before he started up his vehicle's controls and took off.
As the Autobots retreated back into the base, Fowler flew his chopper at the Decepticons and fired the turret at them. The armada avoided his shots and they flew right past the chopper, continuously shooting the base.
"Those Autobots and their pets can't hide in there forever!" Thundercracker laughed.

Inside the base, Ratchet and the Hexside Squad could feel everything shaking.
"What in Titan's going on?" Amity asked, holding Luz's hand tightly.
"Nothing good, that's for sure." Skara replied.
They then noticed Team Prime walking up them.
"What is going on out there?" Ratchet questioned.
"The Decepticons have invaded Gravesfield." Optimus answered.
"And Fowler seems to think he can hold them off." Cliffjumper added.
"They're attacking Gravesfield? Does that mean my mom's…" Luz asked, fearing for her mother's safety if the Decepticons were living near her hometown.
"Fowler told us he evacuated everyone. I'm sure she's okay, Luz." Arcee reassured.

Fowler's chopper was being fired upon by three Vehicons as the special agent did his best to fly away from them.
"Special Agent Fowler to Air Defence command, I need immediate combat support!" Fowler called on his radio before a laser shot hit his chopper and made it catch fire.
While he was shocked by the sudden hit, Fowler looked ahead to see a group of Insecticons corner him with vicious snarls and they prepared to attack him.
"Come on, Air Defence command." Fowler whispered worriedly.
Before the Insecticons could fire their horn blasters, some powerful laser shots hit them from the sky and the bug-like Cybertronians were instantly taken out, much to Fowler's surprise.
"I'll be triple-dipped." Fowler commented, looking at the sky to see a familiar Cybertronian ship appear and shoot down more enemies.

"Prime, reinforcements just arrived." Fowler informed on the base's communicator, which everyone heard from within.
"Reinforcements?" Vee repeated.
"Agent Fowler, your military cannot prevail against the-" Optimus began to say.
"You didn't think I was gonna let Team Prime and the magic crew have all the fun, did you?" A familiar voice asked jokingly.
"Hey, we know that voice anyway." Willow realised as she and Gus gained bright smiles.
"So do we!" Wheeljack remarked, nudging Bulkhead next to him.
"Haha, it's Sprays!" Bulkhead cheered.

Seaspray flew his ship around the area and skilfully shot down some more Vehicon and Insecticons in his sights.

"Seaspray?" Ratchet asked, managing to put of a slight smile. "But, how did you-"
"My scanners picked up a crazy-strong energy surge coming from this place." Seaspray explained as he appeared on-screen. "Hope you all don't mind me dropping in."
"No, it's just that after everything, well…" Ratchet said softly, knowing they didn't part on the best of terms during Bulkhead's Tox-En accident.
"We're still on the same team, doc. Always will be." Seaspray told him as he shot down a few more Insecticons.
"At least that's one thing he's caring about, right now." Amity muttered under her breath.
Optimus walked away from the group to think a bit. Seeing as how the entire Decepticon army was right at their front door with a destructive arsenal, this was a battle none of them could win. There was only one thing they can do, now.
"Ratchet, prepare to bridge everyone out of here." Optimus ordered.
"We're abandoning the base?" Ratchet asked in disbelief.
"The base is lost. Seaspray and Agent Fowler can only buy us time to escape." Optimus said. "Bumblebee, Jazz, Hunter and Vee, you will depart first."
"Understood, Optimus." Bumblebee replied
"We got it." Jazz said with a nod.
"We're all being split up?" Gus asked.
"That's not really a good idea." Skara admitted.
"Shouldn't we all stick together?" Hunter questioned, with Flapjack chirping in agreement.
"We're all an inseparable team, after all." Luz said.
"We must disperse to avoid capture, until we can regroup and launch a counterattack." Optimus replied. "Survival is our only priority now."
"I guess splitting up isn't an entirely bad thing." Amity said, shooting a glare straight at Ratchet that made him close his eyes.

As an Insecticon pursued Fowler, the special agent saw a Vehicon coming with his blasters being fired. Using the smoke trailing from his chopper, Fowler flew out of the way and this caused the Vehicon and Insecticon to crash into each other.
"The day I'm outflown by a bunch of toasters is the day I…" Fowler said to himself, only to trail off when he saw the arriving directly above the base.
Megatron walked onto the very bottom edge of his ship, staring down at the base as he knew it was time to finish his foes.

As Vee and Hunter looked at each other one last time in depression, Bumblebee and Jazz drove straight into the Ground Bridge and vanished on the other side.
"We haven't much time!" Optimus stated as Bulkhead and Wheeljack drove up with Willow and Gus in their seats while their Palismen stayed in the back seats.
Both young Witches gave each other worried expressions, being rather close since their early days in Hexside.
"Stay safe, Willow." Gus instructed. "And watch Bulkhead's back."
"I will. You do the same for Wheeljack." Willow replied, smiling a little bit.
With that said, Bulkhead and Wheeljack drove into the Ground Bridge with their respective partners, arriving at the locations Ratchet set them for. The next ones to leave were Arcee and Cliffjumper, who pulled up in front of the Ground Bridge as Luz and Amity were sharing a last moment with each other.
"I don't…want to leave you." Amity said sadly with her head down, only for Luz to left her back up.
"We'll fine each other, Amity. We always do." Luz replied.
"Yeah, we do." Amity agreed with a soft sigh. "Please stay safe, Batata."
"You as well, Mi Amor." Luz said before they both shared a quick kiss and went towards their respective Autobot Guardians.
Once they were seated, with Luz tucking her Palisman Egg tightly in her bag and Amity placing Ghost on the passenger seat, both Arcee and Cliffjumper drove into the Ground Bridge.

Meanwhile outside the base, Camila was driving towards the area in her car and was astonished to see the sky battle happening ahead. While she wasn't looking, a Vehicon flew behind her and started shooting it's blasters at the vehicle, causing Camila to steer out of control and come to a screeching halt. Camila began to shake her head and regain focus, but the Vehicon transformed in front of her and approached her menacingly.
"Not again." Camila muttered worriedly, pressing down on her car's horn as it sounded out.
From his chopper as he shot down a Vehicon, Fowler heard the car honks and saw Camila in trouble on the road.
"Camila?" Fowler asked surprisingly.
The Vehicon aimed it's blaster at Camila and prepared to fire, only for Fowler to fly in and shoot the Vehicon in the back as it fell onto the car and deactivated. Camila got out of her car and turned around to see Fowler parking his helicopter nearby for her to get in.
"Thank goodness for that special agent." Camila said to herself in relief, rushing towards the chopper.
Seaspray flew his FlashFlood ship through the air and kept shooting down some enemies, but Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp flew right behind him.
"You're scrap, Auto-scum!" Skywarp stated.
"Let's give him a one-way landing ticket!" Thundercracker said maliciously before all three Seekers fired their missiles.
Seaspray saw the missiles on his radar and flew around in an attempt to avoid them, but all six missiles struck the back of his ship and the aquatic Wrecker yelled out as his ride ended up crashing to the ground in a fiery explosion.
"And that's how you wreck a Wrecker!" Starscream quipped with a sinister laugh, causing Thundercracker and Skywarp to do the same.

Smokescreen and Skara were next to depart from the base as the Autobot rookie gave a salute to Optimus and Ratchet.
"You ready for this, partner?" Smokescreen asked the Bard Witch girl.
"Not really. It's just going to be you and me, again." Skara admitted in worridness as Cayenne jumped on her shoulder.
"It's worked out before." Smokescreen reminded, causing Skara to put on a smile from his encouragement.
"That's true. I wouldn't really have it any other way." Skara said.
Smokescreen then transformed into his vehicle mode and Skara got into him before they went straight into the Ground Bridge, while the base started to shake again.
"What about you?" Ratchet asked Optimus.
"I will ensure that the Decepticons cannot follow." Optimus replied, making Ratchet shocked by what he was referring to.
Knowing that there was no changing Optimus' mind, Ratchet walked up to the Ground Bridge and stood still for a bit.
"I…never imagined it would end like this." Ratchet laminated, running into the Ground Bridge.
"Neither did I, old friend." Optimus said as the Ground Bridge then deactivated, leaving him alone in the base as he looked at the Ground Bridge controls.
Outside, the Nemesis opened up it's bottom hatch and revealed a huge laser cannon that was pointing straight down at the base. The laser began to power up a huge amount of red energy as the helicopter flew over, with Fowler and Camila watching in shock and concern. Optimus pulled out his Star Saber and he raised it over the Ground Bridge controls before bringing the legendary weapon down on it, while the laser fired down at the base at the same time and completely destroyed it. What was once the precious base of Team Prime where our story started at was now nothing but a blown-up wreck of rubble and steel.
"No. Oh, Luz." Camila whispered in absolute horror, putting a hand over her mouth and sobbing lightly.
Fowler could only look away and sighed to himself, feeling bad that he couldn't help the Autobots or their young friends. Megatron transformed and descended towards the destroyed base with Starscream in tow before both of them transformed again and landed. They looked down and noticed a big Autobot symbol beneath their feet.
"This is the place, alright." Starscream said.
"This was the place." Megatron corrected.
"United we stand, divided they fall." Starscream commented while smirking down at the Autobot symbol.
From deep within the flaming rubble of the base, the hand of Optimus Prime stuck out in a motionless way as sparks flew out from it. This was indeed the darkest hour. The Autobots and Hexside Squad were scattered, their base was destroyed, the Decepticons now ruled over Gravesfield and the great Optimus Prime was now seemingly gone for good. What will happen now?
The Auto-Hex Team may have lost the battle, but they haven't lost the war. Not yet
