-chapter 1-

"The girl with the strange blue hair"

It was just another boring and colorless day for Rayan. He woke up as usual and brushed his teeth, and in ten minutes he was prepared to go to school. His walk there was as uneventful as every other day, the clean streets of Norway and the cold breeze would have brightened anyone's day, but not this ball of grumpiness that was almost contagious. He walked around with his hands in his pockets, after a few minutes he saw two familiar people that were in the same class as him, David the infamous cowered and Frida or as Rayan liked to call her "Ms.perfect". They all exchanged simple hellos before Rayan increased his walking pace as usual so that he didn't have to stick around by them. Not because he hated David or anything but mostly because he and Frida would always enter arguments that could go on endlessly.

After a few minutes he arrived to school.

As he walked through the courtyard he could easily overhear kids talking about the bird parade that was going to happen in the next few days, and just that was enough to send shivers down Rayan's back as he remembered the sleepless nights he spend drawing blueprints for the carts that the sparrow scouts would lead. Speaking of sparrow scouts, he joined them when he was little, and for the majority of his time there he was average until the "accident" happened and he became class president, naturally the sparrow scout leader, or as she was officially called "Raven leader" would pick him to check attendance at sparrow scout meetings and co-arrange activities for different parts of the year.

One of those activities was the famous "bird parade", though this was the first time he ever did something of this magnitude. usually it was just birthday parties that he was given charge in so this was a pretty big leap.

Returning to the present, he continued walking in the courtyard until he reached the school's main building, where as soon as he entered he headed straight to Mrs.halgrim's office. since she was there headroom teacher she naturally had the attendance papers that he needed to fill, he immediately checked off the couple of students in his class that he already saw on the way here and kept the rest for when classes started. He left the office while holding the attendance paper and walked to class. there was still ten minutes left but he always thought that a late class president is a useless class president. When he entered the familiar classroom he looked around and for some strange reason he was hit with a rush of nostalgia.

He walked around slowly caressing the wooden desks as he remembered all the memories he had from good to bad ones.

After some time his thoughts were cut off as students began rushing in and he made his way to the front of the class and placed the attendance paper on the teacher's desk as he crossed off the last few names before making his way to his desk in the farthest back of the class.

Mrs.halgrim walked in and just like usual the entire class greeted her in unison which never failed to give Rayan a cult-like impression that made him consider the culture of–

"Alright everyone, who can tell me what we studied the last time?"

Mrs.halgrim rudely interrupted Rayan's mind just as we was about to spiral into another wormhole of philosophical and nihilistic ideas, though Rayan did agree that he needed a break from all those thoughts for once.

-A couple of classes later-

It was break time and Rayan was standing at the steps to the school's main building as he overlooked the entire playground. He looked at Trevor and his friends talking on one side of the courtyard and on the other side he could see David and Frida playing with marbles...wait a second...

"Who's she?"

Rayan wandered as he stared at the blue haired girl talking with David, this was the first time he saw her, she clearly didn't attend the school since she wasn't wearing the school's uniform but instead a red sweater and yellow scarf with a black barret and comically big red boots that clearly were too large for her, she also wore a blue skirt and black leggings.

Rayan didn't have time to go and investigate this strange person that appeared so suddenly because just as he was about to walk there the bell rang and break was over, Rayan cursed under his breath. If there was something that annoyed Rayan more than idiocy and incompetence it was not getting answers.

However he had to bite his lip and swallow his curiosity as he walked back inside the school. He wanted answers and he was going to obtain them wither fate wanted it or not, the rest of the school day was a blur to Rayan who's mind was entirely occupied by that stranger who appeared suddenly. As school ended he headed straight to his home. On his way he decided to relax a bit and stop by the convenience store to grab some groceries for dinner. He walked with his bags in hand and as he arrived home...checked his mailbox and saw a single mail inside and he knew what it was...
