Hey guys and gals, welcome back to Avatarou sentai Donbrothers chapter 4 and this chapter will be another adaptation chapter.
I'm going to try to take this adaptation chapter more in an original direction like in my Revice story, just that it's difficult cause I only have one thing to work off of.
There will also be some lore exposition for this chapter done by everyone's favourite, Mini Histy
So with that said, let's get this thing started
Virtua Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"N-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Takuya screamed, his body cracking more and more until he exploded much to everyone's shock.
"Why…" Don Momotaro growled, as he glared at Sononi. "Even if his methods were drastic…he was trying to protect this place…why did you have to kill him."
"Simple, there's no point in saving humans who have been engulfed in negative energy." she explained, walking forward. "Even if they were to be saved, they'll eventually be engulfed once again, it's a never ending cycle."
"And who makes you…THE ONE TO DECIDE THAT!" he screamed, dashed towards Sononi.
"HAH!" He yelled, slashing at Sononi who blocked the attack with her bow before kicking him back.
He then rushed back in slashing at her several times which she deflected with her weapon before firing an arrow that forced him to jump back.
Splitting her weapon into two blades she slashed at Don Momotaro who blocked the attacks while attempting to slash at her which she easily dodged.
They then rushed in as their blades clashed, with a smile coming onto Sononi's face as she looked at Don Momotaro. "How interesting, I can't wait to see what your true self looks like."
"Grr, shut up!" he yelled, breaking the clash before attempting to kick her which she easily dodged.
"Till next time." Sononi said, walking onto a panel before jumping into the sky.
"She's…gone." Noire said, watching as she flew off as Neptune got stars in her eyes. "I don't know what the heck's going on but…that was freaking awesome! I wanna be just like those guys!"
As Don Momotaro watched Sononi fly off Onisister gripped her hand and walked up to her leader.
"Don…Momotaro…" Onisister said, before getting down on one knee. "I swear my loyalty to you! So please…show me the way!"
Onisister waited for his response as Don Momotaro looked down upon her…and kicked her right in the face sending her flying away.
"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHH?!" Noire, Neptune and Plutia screamed, as they watched Onisiter crash near them.
"WA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Now my companions let's go!" Don Momotaro yelled, swinging his sword wildly as he rushed towards his companions. "It's a contest! Who can beat me! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Oh god not again!" "AH! Calm down! Calm down!" "Please don't dislocate my shoulder again!" The other yelled, trying to get away as Don Momotaro attacked them.
"Ugh, I give up." Onisister groaned, and flopped back on to the ground.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! IKUZE! IKUZE!" Don Momotaro yelled, as he slashed away at his companions as they tried to avoid the attacks.
"Woah! WOAH! HOLD ON! I JUST GOT MY ARM FIXED!" Kijibroher yelled, moving back as Don Momotaro swung his sword.
"Don't you go running away! Fight me!" he yelled, jumping into the air to slash at Kijibrother causing him to roll back.
"Leave him alone!" Inubrother yelled, running in before jumping and throwing a kick.
Don Momotaro shifted out of the way however as he took out his gun and spun it in his hand.
"NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" he yelled, firing several shots at his companions.
"Woah! What's going on! He went all nutso!" Neptune yelled, shocked at his sudden change.
"This isn't anything like the Kitaro I knew," Noire said, trying to process the rangers' behaviour.
"Hehehe, Kitaro's all fun now" Plutia laughed, as the others looked at her.
"Waaah!" The ranger yelled, as they were all one by one teleported before they could be hit anymore by Kitaro's attacks
"Hmph, cowards" he said, before turning to Neptune, Noire and Plutia "How about you lot have a turn".
"Oh geez!" "No thank you" Neptune and Noire said, as they began running away while Don Momotaro chased after them.

We see five gears flying through the a portal, colours flying passed them as they flew to a white light

The Gears then flew out the portal as we see the land of Gamindustri below
Don Don Don Don Don Don Yeah!
We see Kijibrothers landing on the ground, the image of Leanbox behind him as he returned to normal and bowed while fixing his glasses.
Dashing Going nuts, towards danger I go
Sarubrother landed on the ground, with Lowee behind him, before returning to normal and raising his hand for a Haiku
Everything looks nice, I am ready to do this
Inubrother then rolled in, with Lastation behind him, before returning to normal and fixing his coat before running off
Tricking the bad guys and then striking where it hurts
Onisister then landed before hopping up and crossing her arms, with Planeptune behind him, before returning to normal and giving a peace sign.
Finishing real cool, that's my way
We next see Kitaro walking in, with images of all the Goddesses behind him as he raised his gun and quickly transformed.
I'll let my soul burn brighter than the sun, and then be fast and stronger then the wind
He then gripped his sword before slashing a V shape before the other rangers regrouped with him
Pay no mind! I am gonna get this done!
They then all looked up to see the three Notou looking down at them as they got ready to fight,
In this battle it's either sink or swim.
We then cut to the rangers fighting a large army of Anouni in the city, before they looked up to see a giant monster.
It's time to go! (Go!) Go! No matter what I'm going to get through.
Don Master was watching this, as Zenkai Juran and Enya rideon flew past him and combined
It's time to avatar change! Go! (Go!)
Don Momotaro jumped into Don Zenkai-oh, and struck a pose as the two monsters stared at each other
No matter when, just don't cry because your heart! It is a beacon of light
The two giants battled for a bit before Don Zenkai-oh jumped into the air and cut it in half with a large explosion.
All that sadness in your heart I promise I will exterminate because I'm the only one.
InuBrother and Kijibrother landed on a building and struck a pose

Onisister and Sarubrother landed as well, also striking a pose.

Don Momotaro did the same, before he took out the DonBlaster and aimed at the screen.

He shot the screen six times before slashing at it revealing as the scene went black.

A few days later
Sayaka P.O.V.
"Ah geez it still hurts" I said, rubbing my cheek as I was still bandaged up from the fight with Kitaro "Seriously what was up with him? Why does he keep attacking us out of nowhere"
It's been about 3 days since the quest me and Kitaro went on where we met Noire, Plutia and that Neptune girl.
Noire said a friend of theirs was looking into what exactly the Donbrothers and those monsters are, and if she's really as strong as Noire says then that means I might get some answers.
"Alright, here we go I wonder what's actually going on-" "MAMA!" "OH NO!"
"Huh?" I blinked, looking over to see a mother running into the street to get her child as a speeding car came rushing in.
"Oh crap!" I said, taking out my Donblaster and ran towards the speeding car while I spun the gear.
DON! DON! DON! DONBURAKO!
"HAH!" I yelled, firing ahead of me and with a bright flash I transformed while diving into the holographic door.
ONISISTER! HEY! YO~~! ONI NO KANABO!
SARUBROTHER! HEY! YO~~! OOKIE LOOKIE!
"Eh?" I blinked while reaching out to grab the little girl while seeing a big muscular arm grab the mother and pull her up.
"MAMA!" "Thank goodness you're okay" The mother said, as she hugged her daughter as I stared at Sarubrother standing in front of me.
"I-It's actually one of you" I said, as the two of us took out our gears and I was surprised to see who it was.
"Well well, I didn't expect this Sayaka-chan" Mylo said, as I just stared at him shocked "EH?!"
A few minutes later the two of us were in a park having some drinks as we discussed some things about how we got here and what we knew about the Donbrothers stuff.
"I see…so Kitaro-kun is Don Momotaro…now that's a surprise" Mylo said, as I nodded "Yeah! Seriously what's up with him he suddenly attacks us, acts like nothing happened and won't even come with me for this he'd rather do some dumb guild work in the forest then find out the truth"
"Hmm…I believe there's more to this…it's almost as if he is attempting to train us".
"Train us?"
"Think about it, if we're both not from this world then the other two must be as well and all of us are amateurs to battle, so he most likely wants to test us, I suggest we attack him after beating the next monster" Mylo theorised, as I thought about it,
"That's actually a good point" I said, before noticing the time "AH! Crud I'm late".
"Late?" Mylo questioned, as I looked at him "I have a friend who's buds with the Goddess so she's looking into the monsters and the Donbrothers".
"Ah then I should come along as well, since we're both allies" He said, standing up as I slowly nodded "W-Well alright".
The two of us then headed to the Basilicom to find out the truth about what these powers are.
Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"Man, I wonder if I'll be ok… These places can be dangerous." Keith said as he walked from left and right, he was given a task by his superiors to go see someone's shop at the moment.
"Don't be so scared, we're only walking a bit into the forest" Kitaro stated, as he walked up behind him.
"B-B-But I've never been this far into the forest before! With all the monsters and stuff that could attack us at any moment" Keith gulped, as they kept walking.
"Well you can't do your job otherwise, so stop complaining and let's go" Kitaro said, making Keith sweatdrop.
"Geez, couldn't you have worded a bit more nicely Kitaro" Keith asked, as Kitaro looked back at him.
"Why? Your fears are justified but there's no other way to put it so why make up some lie" Kitaro stated, making Keith sweatdrop.
'Geez, what's up with him?' Keith thought, as they made their way to a store in the middle of the forest.
The two eventually made it to what looked like an Alchemist's house in the middle of the forest, which had several different plants outside and lots of smoke coming from the chimney.
"Um excuse me, I'm Keith Aokiji and I'm here from the guild, we wanted to see why the potion delivers were-" BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!
"BAWA!" Keith yelled, getting blown back by a large explosion of smoke as Kitaro moved out of the way.
"Aw I messed up again" They heard, as they looked over to see a girl walking out whilst wiping off the smoke and soot around her body.
The girl has long blue hair and blue eyes, accompanied with a black witch hat. She wears a long, white overcoat with black trimming and underneath it, she seems to be wearing what could be a uniform consisting of a red tie and a pleated skirt. Her legwear consists of grey thigh high socks and ankle high heels with white laces.
"Hmm? Who are you two?" She questioned, with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, well my name is Keith Aokiji." Keith said, recovering from the explosion. "And we're from the guild here to see about the shortage of potions lately, Mages"
"MAGES." she cut him off, making the two blink.
"Um, yeah that's what I said Mages" Keith said, as the girl shook her head "No it's MAGES. with a period"
'I don't think that makes Verbal sense' Keith thought, with a sweatdrop before Kitaro walked up.
"Enough of this, let's try the goods" Kitaro said, walking into the house much to the two's surprise.
"H-Hey!" MAGES. yelled, chasing after him as she and Keith followed him into the house which was covered in ash.
"What happened in here?" Keith asked, as they looked around the destroyed shop with MAGES. sighing. "Oh, just another failed attempt."
"You see I'm trying to find a way to surpass my current potioning skills by trying a bunch of different materials, but as you can see things haven't been going so well"
She said, walking up to some potions "These were the only ones I had time to complete for the next delivery".
They then blinked when Kitaro suddenly grabbed one of the potions before opening it and taking a sip "Hey! What are you doing?".
"Hmm, not bad I can definitely tell you've work hard picking out just the right materials I'll give you 80 points" Kitaro said, looking at the potion
"Well of course, I am known as a genius mage after a-" "Don't get me wrong this isn't a passing grade".
"Eh?" MAGES. blinked, before sighing and crossing her arms "Of course it's not perfect, that's why I destroyed my house trying to improve it".
"Y-Yeah Kittaro, she just needs to find the right formula to make an even better potion" Keith said, but Kitaro shook his head.
"No, the problem isn't with the materials like I said the materials were perfect" Kitaro said, before pointing at MAGES. "The problem is you."
"Huh? The hell are you talking about" She said, looking offended as Keith nodded "Y-Yeah, Kitaro you can't talk to the client like that".
"But I'm right, the problem with the potions isn't the material but your technique and intent" Kitaro explained, before looking over at the leftover materials and picking it up.
They then watched as Kitaro began cutting up the materials and before crushing them down.
'Wait…is he making Potions without magic? How is that any better…!' MAGES. Thought to herself.
However as they continued watching they saw Kitaros skills getting better and better as he worked on the potion.
"Wow! Kitaro! How are you able to do that so well?!" Keith said, with a blink "You're like a master!"
"I used to cook a lot for my caretaker, I'm just using those skills plus what I've read from a book on it while on my day off, simple as that" Kitaro explained, with a nod.
He then proceeded to pour the potion into a cup before handing it to them "Here, try this."
"As if someone who's never made potions could make something like-!" MAGES says, before drinking the potion.
"Geh t-this this potion" MAGES gasped, as she stepped staring at the potion with widened eyes.
"E-Eh, w-wha! What! Is it that bad" Keith asked, looking at the potion and trying it himself before his eyes widened as well.
"SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDD~~~~~~!"
Kitaro smirked at that whole crossing his arms, satisfied with their reaction.
"H-How is this possible! A-All my tiredness is completely gone!" MAGES said, looking at the bags in her eyes now gone.
"M-My arms! It feels brand new then before" Kieth smiled, moving around his own arm.
"H-How are you able to do this! We were using the same ingredients so how!" MAGES yelled, looking at Kitaro.
"That's something you'll have to figure out on your own" Kitaro stated, before turning around "Our job is done here, let's go".
"W-Wait!" MAGES yelled, standing up as she glared at Kitaro "My pride won't allow this feeling of loss!".
"I challenge you to a potion making duel! The two of us will go out and pick our own ingredients and whoever makes the better potion gets the loser to do whatever they want!"
"...Interesting" Kitaro said, with a smirk while crossing his arms "Very well, I'll take any challenge you want".
'E-Eh! Ehhh?! Is this really the time for this' Keith thought, completely confused at the moment.
City
Third Person P.O.V.
"Hah" Kuro sighed, as he sipped some of his water while walking through the city with the heat clearly getting to him.
"I really need to find some work or something, but it's not like the Guild is going to give me a job or something…" Kuro muttered, while crossing his arms.
"Why did that little brat have to do that to me, next time I see her I'm going to give her a piece of my mind" he growled, before shaking his head.
"Maybe I should try looking for those other guys that fight alongside me" he said, looking at his Avataro gear "Bet they could even help me out a bit, especially if they are in the same situation that I'm in".
Kuro blinked, before sensing something as he looked behind him to see two guys walking behind him.
'Well seems something is too different,' Kuro thought, as he walked further ahead while the two guys followed him.
Turning a corner, the two guys followed him only to find that no one was there "What the hell?".
"Where did he go!" The guy in the white shirt said, as they looked around a bit.
"Need something?" Kuro asked, as they looked up to see him sitting on the stairs.
"Heh yeah, your dad's in the hospital and he sent us to get some money from ya" The guys in the grey shirt grinned, as Kuro rolled his eyes.
"Yeah see that's a bit of a problem since I don't really have a dad" Kuro stated, standing up a bit before looking over at them "You guys are plain old extortionists"
"You little! And you think you act so calm! Don't underestimate us!" The white shirt said,as they took out a couple of weapons including a knife and a mace.
"No you should be the ones underestimating me" He said, placing a pair of black sunglasses over his eyes before he summoned a Donblaster, and placed a gear into the gun.
"Avatar Change!" He yelled, lifting the gun before turning the red gear causing a bright red flash.

INUBROTHER! HEY! YO~~! WONDERUFF!
A ring then moved down Kuro's body much to the extortionists surprise, as Kuro transformed into Inubrother.
"What the fu-ah!" They yelled, as Inubrother took his gun out and began firing at the two of them.
They jumped away from the blasts but this just made Inubrother smirk as he took out his large Shuriken "Take this!"
Throwing the shuriken at the two guys slashing at the two of them, which knocked them back a bit.
Inubrother then ran towards the two of them before jumping up and kicking them in the heads knocking them out.
"Phew I should get out of here before the Police get here" Inubrother said, returning to normal and walking off a bit.
"Well, you seem to be having some trouble," Kuro blinked, before looking over to see someone walking towards him.
"Who are you?" Kuro asked, crossing his arms.
"Huh me? My name is Reiji Sasaki" He said, with a soft smile that made Kuro raise an eyebrow.
"I own a Guild Dorm not too far away from here for people without a place to stay like you" he explained, making Kuro's eyes widen.
"How do you know that?" Kura glared, as he walked up to Reiji who just looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Dude, you're not exactly the quietest person around" Reiji deadpanned, making Kuro bite his lip.
"Look I get it, you look like you haven't exactly had anywhere to stay in awhile am I right?" Reiji asked, making Kuro look down "As I thought, so how about you stay in my dorm? We have plenty of room and there are other lost people like you looking for somewhere to stay".
"Not interested" Kuro scoffed, turning around surprising Reiji "Don't get me wrong I do need a place to stay, but this offer seems wayyyy too shady and I don't exactly mix well with the Guild".
"Well if it helps we're not exactly affiliated with the Guild, just most of the people staying are working there" Reiji explained, before shrugging "I won't try to change my mind but if you do change your mind, take this".
Kuro blinked before looking over to see a business card of Reiji's, with the other side having a signed autograph of himself.
"Uh yeah, I really don't need thi-huh?!" Kuro blinked, now seeing that Reiji had just disappeared.
"What the? Where did he go…" Kuro questioned, looking around before sighing "This place just gets weirder and weirder.
Basilicom
Third person P.O.V.
"Uuuuuuuuhhhh, wha?" Sayaka and Mylo blinked, as they just stared at the situation that was going on.
"Plutia! What are you doing! Get off Histoire!" Noire yelled, as she tried pulling Plutia's arms away to force them open.
"Noooooo, Histys so warm and cuddly" Plutia growned, as she continued hugging a very little girl who was struggling to break free.
The little girl, who's name was Histoire has medium-length blonde hair in two pigtails tied up with teal ribbons with a purple and white headdress on her head. She wears what seems to be a purple gown along with designs that have orange colouring with a teal bow at the top. Her leg-wear consists of white stockings and purple shoes with pink circles on the centre. She is small enough to fit into Plutia's hands.
"H-Help me" Histoire cried, reaching out to the two as they just stared at her blankly.
"Neptune! Don't just sit there! Help me!" Noire yelled, as she looked over at Neptune who was currently playing a game.
"Ah hold on a sec! I just need to find somewhere to save!" Neptune yelled back, looking around for somewhere to save her game.
"Oh come on! Seriously- oh Sayaka good you're here! Give me a hand here!" Noire asked, making Sayaka blink.
"O-Oh yeah, s-sure you two Mylo!" Sayaka stated, as the two ran up to Noire to help her pry the little girl out of Plutia's grasp.
"A-Ah thank you for that, Plutia can be quite a handful sometimes" Histoire said, with a sweatdrop as she looked down at the sleeping Goddess.
"By the Sayaka who's this, I would have thought you'd bring Kitaro with you?" Noire asked, making Mylo smile.
"Ah don't worry, much like Sayaka and Kitaro, I am also one of those warriors called my Mylo Heiwa" Mylo smiled, introducing himself "How about a Haiku for our first meeting".
"Uh wha-".
Afternoon leaping

Histoire and Noire stared blankly at Mylo's satisfied smile before they both looked over at Sayaka.
"Yeah I know he's a bit of a weirdo but he's still one of the warriors so he should be here too" Sayaka sighed, shaking her head a bit "Oh yeah speaking of which, who's this".
"Ah yes, I am Histoire the oracle of Planeptune and the one Noire asked to look into your powers" Histoire introduced with a smile "And I must say your powers are quite fascinating".
"We should talk about this somewhere else, follow me" Noire suggested, as they started walking towards another room.
"Woah, hey hold up I wanna hear this too!" Neptune said, finally saving her game and following them.
All four of them then sat down on a table as Histoire floated on a tome above the table looking over at Sayaka and Mylo.
"First of all I would like to ask you two how you came upon your powers? It may help me confirm my theory" Histoire requested, as Sayaka and Mylo looked at each other.
"What do you think, should we do it?" Sayaka asked, as Mylo thought about it "Hmm, I supposed we don't have any other choice".
"Well the truth is, just like Neptune we're from another world too" Sayaka stated, surprising the three of them.
"No way?! So we're isekai traveller buddies! Awesome!" Neptune exclaimed, with a wide grin.
"That would explain a lot, like how you didn't know a lot about Gamindustri and what someone not a part of the guild was doing in Virtua Forest" Noire murmured, as she recounted how she knew Sayaka "But how did you end up in this world".
"Well for me, I had found these pairs of sunglasses suddenly appearing next to me" She said, holding up the yellow sunglasses.
"When I put them on I found this strange door which I felt compelled to go into it and when I did, I met this person who told me that I was chosen to defend this world from a coming evil along with other people" Sayaka explained, looking at the sunglasses "They also told me to find the Red Cpu…which is Momoya Kitaro".
"He's the Red Cpu?!" They gasped, as Histoire looked down.
"I've never heard of a male Cpu before, much less a Red Cpu one" Histoire muttered, looking through her tome.
"Neptune, you're from another world too? Have you heard of anything like a Red Cpu before?" Noire asked, but Neptune shook her head.
"Nope never of one, there's only Purple, Black, White and Green" Neptune said, shaking her head.
"I was pretty much the same way, he also asked me to find the Red Cpu but I never thought it would have been so easy to find," Mylo said, thinking back to his own conversation with the mysterious person.
"So did that help you in any way, Miss Histoire?" Sayaka asked, as Histoire nodded.
"Yes I believe so, from what information Noire gave me when she saw you five, your powers are remarkably similar to an old legend in Gamindustri" Histoire explained, as Sayaka and Mylo moved in closer "The Legend…of Momotaro".
The two of them just stared blankly at the small girl, before a sweatdrop came down their heads "Y-Yeah, it's kind of obvious".
"Woah wait hold up, you guys have the legend of Momotaro too" Neptune blinked, surprised as Sayaka looked at her "Of course we do! It's a freaking fairy tale!".
"I have to say, I wasn't expecting people from another world to have the same stories as us but I wonder if they're the same as us" Mylo wondered, as they turned to him.
"In our world the story is about a baby boy who was born from a Peach travelling to an island of Oni to defend his hometown, on his way he made friends with a Monkey, a Pheasant and a Dog. Together they worked together to defeat the Oni and bring the riches to share with his home" Mylo explained, as Neptune and Noire looked confused.
"Wait whaaaaa, that's not the story of Momotaro at all" Neptune said, waving it off surprising Mylo and Sayaka.
"Wait what? Then what's the story in this world?" Sayaka questioned, as Histoire floated up.
"Ahem, you see, before the current Goddesses existed there was another nation led by the first Goddess known as Tari" She explained, as Sayaka and Mylo looked at her.
"The nation is remembered as one of Tyranny and Despotism, with the Goddess herself going mad with her desires and ruling her nation with tyrannical outlook with the people unable to rise up due to her superior power" Noire explained, with a small frown on her face.
"But then as the people prayed for someone to come and save them, a peach shaped portal opened and out came 5 warriors" Neptune cheered, with a huge grin.
"They were super awesome! Each one looked like an animal like a Pheasant, Monkey, Dog and an Oni. And each one had a super cool weapon like a sword, twin guns, a hammer and a bow! But the leader was the most awesome! He had the power to rival the Goddess themselves and was even able to seal her away" Neptune said, excitedly.
"Hmm hearing your version of the story, it certainly sounds similar to our own situation but we don't have any special weapons…if you don't count our ability to transform into other heroes" Mylo stated, crossing his arms "And I don't think Momoya Kitaro would have the skill to rival a Goddess, even if I haven't seen one in person".
"Hmm it could be he hasn't awakened to his power yet…he does have the Cpu Memory after all" Noire deduced, remembering the conversation they had the other day.
"Yeah and also this still doesn't explain what those armoured guys are and those monsters we fight! UGH" Sayaka growned, before flopping down "If only we could talk to those guys again".
"That would make things easier, and there's also the legend…if it really is happening again then who could the evil Goddess be…" Histoire muttered the last part to herself.
However from around the corner we see Plutia who was listening to this with a small frown on her face before she ran off.
"Ah right I should probably mention something to you two" Histoire remembered, making Sayaka and Mylo blink.
"What's up Miss Histoire?" Mylo asked, as Histoire looked at them.
"I already mentioned this to Neptune but since you two are also from other worlds you should know this, your bodies won't age at the same rate as everyone else in this world" Histoire said, surprising the other two.
"Wait seriously! So I'm going to be staying young and beautiful forever!" Sayaka said, with an excited grin.
"Hold on Sayaka, you're basically saying we're immortal. That may be good now but in the long run" Mylo explained, but Histoire shook her head.
"No, you two aren't immortal, your ageing has only been shortened down to about half the time so for example in 10 years you'd only look like you're in your early twenties" she explained.
"Ah well that's disappointing but still it's cool" Sayaka said, with an excited grin.
"We should probably inform Kitaro and the other two as well, they should at least have a proper explanation" Mylo suggested, as Sayaka nodded.
"What's up with Taro anyway! He went totally crazy after the fight and tried attacking us and stuff" Neptune pouted, with Sayaka nodding "Right! It still hurts from before".
"Really? It seemed to me more like he was attempting to train us, which makes sense considering compared to everyone else in this world we're still newbies" Mylo explained, making Noire smirk.
"Oh training? Well if it's training you want then I would be happy to help train you two" Noire said, with a smirk waving her hair.
"You sure you don't just wanna show off so that they would praise you Noire?" Neptune asked, as Noire's face heated up.
"W-W-Wha?! O-Of course not! Don't make stuff up stupid!" Noire yelled, pulling Neputne's cheeks.
"Hmm, perhaps this actually will be interesting" Mylo said, with a smirk.
Virtua Forest
Third person P.O.V.
"U-Um, do I really have to be here?" Keith questioned, as he watched MAGES worked on her potion from materials she had foraged.
"Of course you do! Who else will be able to judge our work" MAGES stated, as Keith sighed defeatedly.
'Why am I even here…I wanna see Mana-chan so badly right now…' Keith thought, as he watched MAGES and Kitaro working on the potions.
MAGES had gone around looking for specifically the best ingredients she could to develop her potion while Kitaro had seemingly chosen whatever materials he could find, but his skill in mixing them together was certainly impressive.
After a bit too finished the two managed to finish their potions and offered it to Keith who looked anxious.
"Go on…do it…" MAGES stated, glaring at the man who jumped.
"O-Okay! H-Here it goes" Keith gulped, before reaching for the potions and taking both potions one at a time, studying their taste a bit before gulping.
"Well which one is the winner?" Kitaro asked, making Keith gulp before he pointed to the young man.
"I-I think Momoya-sans…is a bit better" Keith stated, making Kitaro smirk.
"Hmm an obvious answer-" "NO!".
"This can't be! He doesn't even do any magic! How can he be better than me!" MAGES yelled, rubbing her head before grabbing Kitaro's shoulders ``Tell me! You have to tell me".
"Like I said, figure it out on your own" Kitaro stated, before pushing her back and looking over at Keith "Let's go".
"No…I need to know…I have to KNOW!" MAGES screamed, as her body flashed surprising the two.
MAGIRANGER
They watched as MAGES turned into a Hitotsuki, this one however had a purple and yellow underbody instead of the usual red. The chest had a gold triangular piece with a blue gem sitting in the middle and six purple jagged edges sticking out from the sides with two of them acting as shoulder pads, and around its neck was a long purple cape. The head had a long purple beard that extended all the way to the neck with a circular mouth with shape teeth sticking in front, having the same jewel in chest inside of it, the top of the head looked like a fusion between a witches hat and broomstick with the brush part done in purple with two sets of yellow eyes separated by a red and blue headband with a skull.
"A-A monster!" Keith yelped, jumping back as the monster roared before gripping Kitaro by the shirt.
"I'll have you show me! No matter what!" she yelled, before using her magic to fly up into the air.
"Oh no! Kitaro! I got to save him!" Keith stated, placing his gear into his gun before lifting it.
"Avatar Change!" He yelled, as he began turning the red gear before being teleported to a strange space
HEY! YO~~! DON! DON! DON! DONBURAKO! AVATAROU!
A ring appeared below him as a large door appeared above , the ring began lifting up his body putting him into a pink energy suit as the sunglasses flew off of his face and changed shape.
TRICKY! TORICKY! TRICKY! TORICKY! TRICKY! TORICKY! TRICKY! TORICKY!
He then proceeded to lift his gun upward and fired at the door causing it to open with a red gear moving down his body, transforming the energy suit into new armour as the changed sunglasses returned to his face, with energy wrapping around his head forming a helmet as his body grew taller and wings sprouted from his back.
KIJIBROTHER! HEY! YO~! TORICKY!
Transforming into his ranger form, Kijibrother spread his sings before flying into the air and after Hitotsuki.
"Let him go! MAGES!" Kijibrother yelled, pulling his gun out and firing at the flying Hitotsuki.
"Grr! Leave me alone!" Hitotsuki yelled, as she screamed a barrier to reflect the attack right back at the ranger.
"Huh?! GAH!" Kijibrother yelled, as he was sent flying back.
"Now that pests are gone, I'll have you acknowledge me as superi- huh?!" The Hitotsuki blinked, as she was met with a gun to the face.
Kitaro fried several blasts at the monster, forcing her to let him go as he began freefalling towards the ground while he placed the gear onto his changer.
"Avatar Change!" He yelled, as he began turning the red gear on the gun before teleporting him away as the Hitotsuki chased after him.
HEY! YO~~! DON! DON! DON! DONBURAKO! AVATAROU!
A ring appeared below him as a large door appeared above , the ring began lifting up his body putting him into a red energy suit, with his hair turning a crimson colour and the sunglasses flew off of his face and changed shape.
DONBURAKO! DONBURAKO! DONBURAKO! DONBURAKO! DONBURAKO!
He then proceeded to lift his gun upward and fired at the door causing it to open with a red gear moving down his body, transforming the energy suit into new armour as the changed sunglasses returned to his face, with energy wrapping around his head forming a helmet, transforming him into Don Momotaro
DON MOMOTARO! HEY! YO~~! NIPPON ICHI!
"Where did he go…gah!" The Hitotsuki questioned, looking around before being met by a slash which she barely dodged "Who the hell are you!".
"Heh, that's none of your business! I'm the one who'll be fighting you now" Don Momotaro smirked, as he readied his sword.
"Grr! Fine! Let's see if you can handle this!" Hitotsuki yelled, summoning a large group of golems of spears.
"Interesting…very well!" He yelled, readying his sword as he dashed towards the incoming Golems.
Readying his sword, Don Momotaro rushed forward, slashing and cutting the Golems into pieces as he moved towards Hitotsuki.
One Golem tried stabbing him but Don Momotaro smirked before jumping and throwing a powerful kick at the monster knocking its head off.
He then spun his gun around before firing several blasts at the golems causing them all to explode.
"Hah is that the best that you-hmm?" Don Momotaro blinked, as he saw the Golems reforming into a humanoid shape.
"Interesting…very well, this'll be a good festival!" he grinned, before dashing to continue fighting the monster but as he did the others were teleported in.
INUBROTHER! HEY! YO~~! WONDERUFF!
ONISISTER! HEY! YO~~! ONI NO KANABO!
SARUBROTHER! HEY! YO~~! OOKIE LOOKIE!
"Huh? Dang now" Inubrother groaned, before firing at the incoming Golems knocking them down.
"Wait, these guys aren't the usual grunts" Inubrother growled, jumping up and kicking several of them in the face.
"Hmm, it seems like we're dealing with a magic themed one," Sarubrother noticed, looking at the Hitotsuk who was fighting Don Momotaroi as he grabbed onto the Golem and slammed him to the ground.
He then pulled out his gun and began firing at the rest of the golems as they crumbled to dust.
Another Golem was going to hit Inubrother from behind but was smashed into pieces by Onisister "You okay pupper!".
"Yeah but don't call me that newbie!" Inubrother yelled before taking out his shuriken and throwing it towards the Golems slashing them into pieces
Several blasts were then shot from above as they looked up to see Kijibrother flying towards them before landing "Phew made it, hey you guys are here too!".
"Looks like we all made it '' Sarubrother nodded, as he turned to the large Kijibrother who kicked some Golems back "Any of you happen to know what's going on?".
"Yeah her name's MAGES, she turned into a Hitotsuki after losing to Kitaro" Kijibrother explained, before realising something "Wait, actually where is Kitaro!".
"Uh well bout that" Onisister sweatdropped while looking over at Don Momotaro before jumping as orange blur rushed in and slashed them back.
"Tch, you guys aren't any fun" Sonoza scoffed, as he landed on the ground in his monster form before turning his attention to Hitotsuki "Let's see if this'll make me excited".
"Hmm?" Don Momotaro blinked, before doing a limbo pose as he dodged the incoming strike from Sonoza who slashed Mahouki, knocking it back.
"Oh you wanna challenge me too? Alright! Let's do it!" Don Momotaro grinned, before dashing towards Sonoza forcing him to jump back.
"Come on! Come on!" Don Momotaro yelled, as he two's weapons began clashing against each other "If you're not going to do anything then butt out! She's my prey!".
"Fuck off!" Sonoza yelled, before headbutting Don Momotaro which knocked him back allowing Sonoza to move towards Mahouki
"Oh no you don't!" Don Momotaro grinned, as he kicked Mahouki through one of the trap doors which teleported her to the other side of the field.
The red ranger then leapt up before slashing at Sonoza forcing him to block the attack with his spear.
However this was followed by a swift kick to the head, forcing Sonoza to stumble back a bit.
"Take this! Come on! Come on!" Kitaro yelled, as he fired several blasts at the warrior.
"Will you fuck off!" Sonoza roared, before he deflected the blasts back at Don Momotaro who smirked while avoiding the blasts.
"Now's my chance" The red ranger yelled, spinning the gear on his sword which charged it with energy before delivering a powerful slash right at Sonoza knocking him back.
"Tch! This isn't exciting at all!" Sonoza yelled, swinging wildly at Don Momotaro who blocked the attack.
"I'm outta here" Sonoza scoffed, landing on of the tiles before leaping away as Don Momotaro looked at him leaping away.
"Hmph how disappointing" he sighed, before moving out of the way from a fire blast.
"Don't forget you bastard! Why! Why am I no better than you! I was using the best materials I could!" she yelled, firing blasts at him.
"Because you only consider the product" Don Momotaro stated, causing Mahouki to look up.
"These potions, the potions that are the only life lines for your customers, need to be something that'll help them relax not be forced to drink something bitter, even if it is better" Don Momotaro explained, crossing his arms "You can make a good potion, but you still have a lot to learn".
"No… no… AAAAAAAAHHHH" Mahouki screamed, as she fired several fireballs all around the area which destroyed the Golems.
The rangers all dodged the blasts before Don Momotaro leapt towards the others.
"My companions, IT'S TIME FOR THE FINISHER!" He yelled, turning the gear on his sword.
DON!
They were then teleported to a strange space which had a cartoony looking sea, with a 2d mount fuji as well as orange sun behind it.
"Ikuze my companions!" Don Momotaro yelled, as four gears with levers appeared a few steps away from them.
"ROGER!" "Yeah, yeah." "Um sure." "Rightyo!" The four said, as they ran up and began pulling the lever to spin the gear which erected a large platform for Momotaro.
"Let's have a splendid finale…" Don Momotaro said, as he began spinning the gear on his sword four times.
DON! DON! DON! DONBURAKO!
MOMOTARO ZAN! MOMOTARO ZAN! MOMOTARO ZAN! MOMOTARO ZAN!
Everything turned dark as Mahouki looked around only being able to see the flashing colours of Don Momotaros sword.
Suddenly several blasts from the companions hit the Hitotsuki knocking her back as Don Momotaro leapt into the air, colours following him as he moved towards the Hitotsuki.
HISATTSU OUGI!
"HAH! ORYA! SEIYA!" Don Momotaro yelled, slashing Mahouki several times before sliding past her.
MOMOTARO ZAN!
"DON-DON-DONBROTHERS!" The team yelled after Don Momotaro finished his attack.
"G-AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Mahouki screamed, before exploding in a large fire.
The rangers looked over at the leftover flames revealing MAGES's unconscious body.
"Hmph, a truly fantastic festival" Don Momotaro smirked, as he turned around to walk off.
"W-Wait!".
"Hmm?" The rangers blinked, as they looked over at Onisister looking at the others.
"Everyone listen, we found something about our powers that the rest of you should know about," Onisister explained, with Sarubrother nodding.
"That's right, and if we'll be working together then we should really introduce ourselves to each other" , Sarubrother suggested.
"Oooh! That's a good idea! We should know who each other are" Kijibrother nodded, while Inubrother crossed his arms.
"As long as you don't freak out when you meet me like everyone else, then I'm fine with it" Inubrother agreed, as Don Momotaro crossed his arms.
"Interesting, very well…but where will we meet up?" Don Momotaro asked, as Onisister smiled.
"We'll have to meet up at the Planeptune Basilicom! That'd probably be for the best" She suggested, with a smirk.
"EEEEEEEEHHHHHH?! THE BASILICO-" Kijibrother and Inubrother yelled, before all five rangers were teleported away.
And done woo boy, that one took awhile. Sorry about that, I got stuck with writing the MAGES stuff and then there was my obsession with Persona 5.
But yeah, the rangers will officially be meeting each other next chapter which is very different from Donbrothers.
I just wanted to get that part done with, especially with the time frame of the game, which apparently will be coming to switch.
