Pentagram City: V's Tower
The second the Hazbin Hotel had been rebuilt; Vox had increased his drone activity in the area. Every move those fuckers made he wanted to know about it. He didn't care if it was just Angel coming to work. He became more obsessed than ever, especially when he found out that Alastor had survived his fight with Adam. When he saw the little angel fly off, he was quick to send drones off after her, until they were suddenly destroyed, much like the ones earlier that day that had been following Alastor and his little pet. With slow motion and frame by frame, he was barely able to make out a pair of claws and feathered wings smashing into his camera, just like the one that had been following the radio demon. He had eyes all over Hell, but the one place he couldn't get remotely close to was Caine's territory. His diseased flying rats were quick to attack and keep his eyes out.
Why was that forgotten hazbin suddenly so popular? Alastor was one thing, but an angel? What would an angel want with the most feared of all the overlords? Vox turned his chair to two screens, one showing Velevette planning a show and taking the piss out of her models, the other showing Valentino smashing around the penthouse, throwing things, going for his guns again. Probably something to do with Angel. "Velvette, Val!" He called their names and both of them stopped what they were doing, turning to face the nearest security camera "Board room, 5 minutes" For exactly four minutes and fifty-five seconds he continued to watch the feeds around that shit box hotel before he zapped himself into his seat for the meeting.
"What is it Vox? I was about to skin that bitch Melissa alive" Velvette spoke and didn't even look up from her phone as she completely trolled Melissa's accounts. "I wasn't busy" he lied, grinning as he blew out a cloud of pink smoke. Vox tented his fingers as Valentino's fizz-bot started passing out drinks "Alastor and that seraphim have both made trips to Caine's territory today, presumably to his manor. No one goes there uninvited, so presumably he's starting to make moves again" Unlike the more common denizens of hell and the other overlords, Caine meant nothing to them. "So? He's a fossil, a relic, and a tacky dresser" Velvette scoffed and continued to press buttons on her phone. "Really Vox? You called us here for that? So, what if they want to visit some old wash out? He's been gone for thousands of years, he's not going to just show up now and everyone knows he doesn't do favors"
"IT MATTERS….!" Vox slammed his fist into the table, his screen raging as he rose out of his seat, the other two finally paying attention "Because I can't get my drones within two blocks of that run down old shack! If they recruit him for their hotel, we may as well kiss our asses goodbye now" He was no fool, he knew what Caine was capable of. Everything in his vast data banks told him the man was not one to be underestimated "You know everywhere he goes those rancid birds follow! So, I lose my eyes and ears on that place, and you lose your eyes and ears on a certain little slut of yours" His eyes narrowed at Val. He could see the crease in his brow, he was certainly listening now. "So, get a pair of eyes through the front door. Ever since the word got out the place works, they let anyone in. It's not like before with Sir Pentious, they'll be too busy to even notice."
They'd tried that before, though admittedly choosing Pentious for the task was a mistake. He was a buffoon of the highest order. He hadn't even made it 4 hours. "We should do what we should have done in the first place. Grab one of Val's hookers, beat the crap out of them and send them over there, sobbing that they want to get away from him and stop being such a mess." Velvette smirked as she looked at Valentino, smoke blowing out of his nostrils "That's not bad at all ... that's how Angel got in isn't it?" he chuckled and licked his sharp teeth "But he'd see that coming a mile away, he knows all my people. It needs to be someone not affiliated with us, that much we had right"
While the two were talking amongst themselves, Vox was cycling through months of security footage. There had to be something, someone. Then he froze on a still image and started to laugh "Oh…oh that's it" The other two looked up at him puzzled, seeing the image on his screen "Who is that?" they'd never seen them before, though Vox probably had, he had eyes everywhere "That…is our ticket in. Someone they know, someone they trust, but would turn on them at the drop of a hat. Find them, get them in here and get their price. I don't care what it is"
