A Little Hazbin 2: Freezing Over Ch. 13

The tv turns on to show Tom Trench staring into the camera next to Angel Dust who's looking into a hand mirror.

"You sure my makeups alright?" Angel asks but gets a nudge from Tom who points in front of them. The Spider Demon tosses the mirror and smiles at the camera. There was silence before he glances at the Gasmask Demon and whispers. "Are you supposed to start."

"Huh?" Tom looks at him in surprise. "You want me to speak?"

"Yeah? You're the senior here."

"Right!" and Tom turns back to the camera. "This is Channe News. I'm Tom Trench and most of you are familiar with my new co-anchor. I'm sure most of you have seen at least one of his movies. The famous Angel Dust! Welcome, Angel. Would you like to start off on today's announcements?"

"Don't mind if I do, Tom," Angel gives Tom a nod as an image of Lucifer shaking hands with Asmodeus along with Beelzebub and Mammon. "The Big D(bleep) in charge has discussed with his fellow Deadly Sins the possibility of opening the Rings for everyone to come and go as they pleased."

"That be nice," Tom says. "I always wanted to visit the beach but it's so difficult to get a day pass. Speaking of Sins? Two of the Deadly Sins, Asmodeus of Lust and Gluttony's own Queen Bee each has announced their engagement to their individual partners," a picture of Asmodeus cuddling a jester and another of Bee kissing a hellhound is revealed.

"Y'know, Tom," Angel turns to his cohost. "This is just a rumor, but I heard that Lust's partner, Fizzarolli, is trying to have a double wedding but not with Beelzebub and her fiancé, Vortex." A blurred image pops up with what can only be described as an owlman and an imp can be made out. "Apparently, one of the partner's is going through a nasty divorce."

Tom then picks up the paper in front of him. "The last thing on our agenda is what is now called Hell's Ice Age. It's been a week to the day since the Primordial End had nearly frozen the entire Pride Ring and everything is finally starting to thaw out," various images start appearing on the screen that includes almost every Overlord of the Pride Ring. "A lot of demons lost their lives that day," his voice then perks up. "Including my former cohost, Katie Killjoy!"

The Spider Demon smirks at him. "Try saying that with a little less enthusiasm."

Tom chuckles sheepishly. "Sorry," the masked demon then clears his throat. "I understand that you lost someone to?"

"Yeah," Angel looks down as Alastor appears on the screen followed by Niffty. "They may not have been the best people in Hell, but they were still friends."

Tom nods before turning back to the camera. "For those of you who don't know, Angel Dust here was at the front lines of the battle where for the first time a joint effort between Heaven and Hell was made in an attempted to stop the Primordial. But their efforts were not enough."

"It wasn't until the daughter of Charlie Morningstar and her girlfriend, Vaggie, had stepped in," a picture of both the Princess and Fallen Angel hugging a little girl appears. "Celest may not seem like much but even before that day, I knew that Squirt was special," Angel then sadly looks down.

The cohost notices this and decides to ask, "How is the girl?"

"She's, she's doing fine," he looks up at Tom. "She's still out but…" Angel turns to the camera. "Charlie, Vaggie. I don't know if you're watching this, but I do know that the Squirt is going to be all right."

Zooming away from the tv, Charlie and Vaggie can be seen by Celest's hospital bed, watching the news.

Charlie gives a sad smile. "Thanks, Angel. That means a lot," her attention is brought to the bed by soft groaning.

Vaggie stands up. "Celest! Honey?"

Celest's eyes open. "Mama?" and looks at her mothers. "Mom? What happened? Wh-where are we?"

"We're in the hospital, Sweetie," Charlie takes her daughter's hand and kisses it. "And we're okay thanks to you. You saved us."

The little girl sits up and squints while trying to figure stuff out. "I did something, didn't I?" she looks down. "I never wanted to hurt anyone before and I honestly still don't," she starts tearing up. "But after seeing what he was doing. I just couldn't hold it in anymore and, and I don't know," she looks back up at her parents. "It felt like something woke up inside," the little Hazbin then looked at her hands and closed her eyes and concentrated but only a little spark appeared between them before suddenly falling back on the bed.

"Celest!?" Charlie shouts before looking up at her girlfriend. "Vaggie! Call the doctor!"

"Right!" she runs to the door but before reaching it, it bursts open.

Lucifer stands there with his wife. "That won't be necessary," the King walks up to his granddaughter's bedside. "Hey, Celest," he smiles at her. "How are you feeling?"

"Tired," the little girl manages to sit back up. "I tried doing magic again, but it felt as if I ran around the Hotel several time."

"Not surprising," the King shakes his head. "You had your first burst of magic, and it was a lot of magic. You used every last bit of it at once. That took a toll on your body. Trying to do magic at all will exhaust you."

"So, I won't be able to do magic at all?"

"He didn't say that," Lilith then steps up to the bed and sits next to her granddaughter. "It wasn't as grand, but I remember Charlie's first spout turned the dining room into a very colorful abstract art. It took weeks before she was able to make a rainbow again."

"Oh, really?" Vaggie's eye widens as she smirks at her now blushing girlfriend. "I've never heard that one before." She then gets a laugh from the Princess.

"All you need is rest," Lucifer tells the child. "After that you just need to learn control and you'll be able to do all sorts of things. Like this!" the King suddenly turns into a puppy and hops onto his granddaughter's bed. The child starts petting the transformed Lucifer causing his tail to wag.

"Can I have a puppy?" Celest asks her mothers.

"Yes/No!" Charlie agrees but Vaggie is against it.

"Well, talk about it later," the Fallen Angel says. "As a family."

"Speaking of family. Ours is about to get a little bigger!" Lucifer hops out of the bed while reverting back to normal. "We've officially been invited to both your Aunt Bee's and Uncle Asmodeus' weddings!" he conjures up the invites. "Lucky for us, they're set months apart. The last thing we need is the disaster of both on the same day."

After this discussion, Vaggie was in thought about something. "Charlie. Can I talk to you outside?"

"Sure," Charlie then plants a kiss on her daughter's forehead and Vaggie does the same before the two mothers walk out.

Just as the Hotel Owner closes the door, she turns to her girlfriend. "What is it, Va—"

"Let's get married!" Vaggie blurts out.

Charlie blinks a couple times before giving a small smile and taking her girlfriend's hand and lightly pats it. "Vaggie. I would want nothing more than to promise myself to you for the rest of my life. But I know that with my aunt and uncle's announcement that this is just Wedding Fever. Maybe we should wait a few weeks and then—"

Vaggie takes her hand away. "It's not Wedding Fever!" the Fallen Angel sighs. "I've actually been thinking a lot about this for a long time now. It started after Celest came into our lives," she starts pacing. "I just never brought it up because I was never sure how to and thought that I should just wait for the right moment. But then the incident at Vee Tower happened. Then I wanted to let you readjust to having both your parents back in your life. And then this Primordial guy showed up and the revelation that our daughter is this Nephilim. I now realize that there is no right moment. Our lives are just too crazy!" Vaggie stops and turns to Charlie. "You're the Princess of Hell and I was an Exorcist. And to prove that this isn't just a spur of the moment, I've been carrying this for months," she gets down on one knee and takes out a small box. "Ugh! I had to wear a skirt. Charlie Morningstar…" the grey woman reveals a black ring with a red gem. "Will you let me make you happy for the rest of your life?"

Charlie was holding her mouth with wide eyes. Soon, her mouth cracks into a smile and the Princess starts laughing a little.

Vaggie frowns. "You could've just said no?" she stands back up.

"No, no!" the blonde manages to calm down. "It's not that. it's just…" she reaches into her own pocket and pulls out her own box. "I've been carrying this for a while myself," within the box is an identical ring.

Vaggie blinks and soon starts laughing as well and Charlie joins in. The two women then simultaneously places the rings on the other's hand.

"So…" the Hotel Owner takes the former Exorcist's hands. "Is this a yes?"

Vaggie kisses her now fiancé. "It will never be anything less than a yes."

The two continued looking one another in the eyes and had forgotten that they're not the only ones in Hell. But they are brought to reality by sniffling.

Standing in the doorway are Charlie's parents with Lucifer seemingly crying and Lilith is holding onto her granddaughter.

Lucifer sniffles. "My baby girl is getting married!" he runs up to hug both his daughter and soon-to-be daughter-in-law.

Lilith smiles as she walks up to them with Celest. "About time," the tall woman turns to the Fallen Angel. "I can't wait for you to officially join our family."

"Thanks, Your Majesty," Vaggie blushes.

"Vaggie. You're about to be a Morningstar. If you're going to call me anything less than Mom it'll be Lilith."

"Okay…" Vaggie looks away for a moment as this next part is going to sound weird. "Mom."

Lilith smiles as she pulls the soon-to-be daughter-in-law into a hug.

During this, Celest just looks at everyone, unsure of what's going on. "What does this mean exactly? I thought we already were a family."

"Oh, we are, Sweetie," Charlie takes her daughter in her arms. "It's just that this will make it more official than what it already is."

"Yes!" Lucifer poofs behind them. "A wedding will tell everyone that they're taken and that no one can mess with either of them. Otherwise…" the King's voice turns growly. "They'll have to deal with me!" he then zips over to his wife. "Remember our wedding?"

"How could I forget?" the Queen smiles. "Remember it a lot better than the bachelorette party. Bee was wild?"

Lucifer thought for a moment. "Not sure if I want to know if I don't want to know."

Lilith only smirks as she walks away.

Velvette stands in the cemetery, gazing up at a metal statue of Vox and Valentino. At the base of the statue is an inscription.

The Future of Hell

Belongs to the Vees

"It's made of Angelic Steel," Clara walks up to her. "It won't corrode and doesn't damage easily. The King has also declared it as a sacred monument so no one can move it without proper authorization."

Vee looks at her and nods.

Thank you.

"I didn't do this for you. It was commissioned and paid for by the Royal Family. They kept their end of the bargain and now it's time I keep my end," the Carmine steps up to the Influencer. "I'm going to let you live this time because you spared my sister," she pats the satchel. "But know this. The next time I see you, B(bleep), I will f(bleep)ing kill you!" Clara gives one last glare before walking off.

The Carmine takes a deep breath as she pats the satchel once again but notices the bag was damp. "No!" she screams while glancing inside. "No, no, no, no!" and takes off.

Velvette watches as the Carmine disappeared from her sight. She then looks at the statue. She then manages to get up to the base of the statue and plants a kiss on each of her friends. The lonely then sits down and starts crying as she is truly alone.

Velvette will return in…
