[Chapter 3: Friends]
The next day after the incident at the mall, Drayden was walking through one of the halls of U.A's main building, Deku has called for him to go to the Principal's office to talk about yesterday's situation.
After a pair of minutes, Drayden stops in front of a door with a label wich said "Principal" on it. He wasn't really excited to cross that door, but he was out of any other options since the incident on the mall, so he reunited the courage and entered to the office.
Inside, Izuku Midoriya was there alongside Ichinose, Ban and Sansei who were showing some slight bruises wrapped in bandages and another man sitting on the other side of a desk, he was a tall, skinny man with blonde-grayish hair and pitched black eyes. When Drayden entered the office all the eyes were set on him...
•Izuku: Good Morning, Drayden... I hope you understand why did I call you today...
•Drayden: Yesterday's incident, I assume...
•???: Indeed... Please, have a seat...
The atmosphere in that office was really tense, it felt like it could be easily cut with a knife. The old man on the other side on the desk was looking straight into Drayden's eyes, something he felt really uncomfortable.
•Drayden: Who's the living fossil?
The others in the room except for Drayden and the old man gasped in complete suprise, that was something rude to say, and even more to that man...
•Ban: D-Dude, watch your mouth... you are talking to All Might!
•Drayden: All Might?, Him?.- Drayden pointed to the old man- Yeah, right... there is no way that this old man is the legendary All Might!
•All Might: I'm not that old yet, young one... and perhaps you should believe what your classmates are saying...
•Drayden: Yeah, right...- He sees a picture of All Might on his prime on the desk- ...Now this is the real All Might!
•All Might: *Sighs* Yes... that's me.
•Drayden: Alright... prove it then...
The skinny All Might stands up from his chair so Drayden could notice the oversized clothes that he was wearing. All Might then grabs some air and buffs his body, showing his big muscles.
•All Might: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Do you believe me know, young boy!?, because I AM HERE!.
All Might suddenly starts coughing some blood while returning to his skinny form. Drayden is just there with his mouth and eyes wide open due to what just happened a couple of seconds ago.
•Ban: Mr. Might, are you alright!?
•Izuku: ALL MIGHT, THAT WAS TOO RISKY!!!!.- He is visibly freaked out.
•All Might: You are all right. *coughs blood* This is petty difficult and painful to do since I don't have the One For All anymore...
•Drayden: No way...
•All Might: Do you believe now, young one?.- All Might said while composing once again.
•Drayden: You're really...
•All Might: The one and only: "All Might"!... well, what is left of him.
•Drayden: But... how?. You used to be a huge, unstoppable force of justice!, what happened to you!?.
•All Might: Well, being a hero is not really that easy, I had to overcome many trials of bravery to show society that they could always be safe on this life!...
All Might look very proud on that little speech. Everyone is looking at him with many feelings, but Drayden is feeling really nervous.
•All Might: ...but eventually, my body started to grow weaker and couldn't keep on anymore, so I had to pass my power to the next generation.- He pointed to Izuku.
•Izuku: You see, All Might used to have the "One For All", and I turned into his apprentice, giving me that power.
•All Might: And when I did that, my power eventually vanished, leaving me Quirkless. Over time, I retired and now I have the duty to watch over U.A's integrity and over all of the students.
Drayden then remembered something that happened a couple of years ago. Maybe that was the exact moment when All Might lost his power.
•Drayden: The "Kamino Incident"?...
Everyone was suprised by the mentioning of the Kamino Incident. That happened almost 10 years ago and yet Drayden knows about it. All Might starts to think deeply about something...
•All Might: Indeed... but how do you know about that imcident?. It has been almost a decade since it happened... or perhaps...
All Migh is looking directly into Drayden's eyes with those deep black eyes of his. Drayden is just there, feeling uncomfortable at the deep stare All Might was giving. After a couple of seconds, All Might speaks once again.
•All Might: ...You know more of that incident?
Drayden is silent, avoiding the glare of All Might and sweating nervously. All Might's expression changed quickly to a serious one, probably knowing what Drayden means.
•All Might: Speak with the truth, young boy... Do you where there that night?
•Drayden: N-No... not really.
•Izuku: All Might, he is the boy that used to work for the League of Villains...
All Might's expression suddenly changes, he is quite suprised right now from that revelation. He looks at Drayden closely from head to toes.
•All Might: Now that you mention it... I think I have seen him before. Tell me, young boy, where you part of the low rank villains in the "Paranormal Liberation Front"?
Drayden is still silent, he was there and All Might recognized him right away. He wanted the earth to swallow him right now due to the embarrasment, but he had no chance into fooling All Might, so there was no choice...
•Drayden: Yes... I was there... and also at the U.S.J. attack...
•Izuku: The U.S.J... - He says suprised.
•All Might: I knew it... I knew that I saw that red lock of hair somewhere before... although, since you are on your teenage years now, I suppose you were way younger back then...
•Drayden: Yes... I was just 8 years old at that time...
Meanwhile, behind all of them, the other three kids were whispering to each other in suprise by that revelation. The couldn't believe what they were hearing...
•Sansei: Dude, Drayden was a criminal since he was 8!?.- He whispered to the bunny boy.
•Ban: Well, the rumors of him being part of the League of Villains were true... but being a criminal THAT young!?.- He replied back.
•Ichinose: Don't talk too loud, remember he doesn't like anyone to talk about that!.
Back with Drayden and All Might, they were staring at each other in silence. All Might was serious and Drayden uncomfortable and sweating, while still trying to avoid the glare of All Might. It seem like he wants to ask something to Drayden but is thinking way to much about it, probably the next sentence could make Drayden mad if he doesn't choose the right words.
•All Might: Alright... since you are now on a rehabilitation process here at U.A, may at least know your name?.- He asked politely.
Drayden takes a couple of seconds to reply, he really is unsure to give him that information, bit since this is gonna be his new life from now on he states his name nervously...
•Drayden: D-Drayden...
•All Might: Drayden... what?, I need to know your full name.
•Drayden: Drayden... A-Akito...
All Might suddenly gasps in suprise, he seems to know something about him and Drayden notices this right away making him even more uncomfortable. Izuku's seated near Drayden and All Might and he could feel the tension rising in that room, not knowimg what is goimg on between them, but looks like All Might has realized something important...
•All Might: Akito... I swear I've heard that last name before, but where?...
•Izuku: All Might, is everything okay?...
•All Might: Young Akito... are you related to those Akito am I thinking about?.
This sudden question suprised everyone in the room. All Might was asking something so personal and Drayden had enough, so he jsut stands up from the chair he was seated on amd starts heading towards the door but Izuku quickly rushes up to him, grabbing his wrist and stoppimg him from leaving.
•Izuku: Drayden, why are you avoiding the question?... does it bother you?.
•Drayden: Yes, it absolutely bothers me!!!.- He says with sheer anger in his voice.
•All Might: Young Akito, please forgive me if I'm bothering you with all these personal questions... it's just that I want to be sure...
•Drayden: Be sure of what, exactly!?. That I am the son of the worst parents in the world!?.
Meanwhile, Ichinose was looking at the scene quite curious. Ban and Sansei were looking at each other in confusion about what was going on but they didn't want to talk just to see if they could get more info about Drayden. It looked like they were talking about some... "Parental issues".
•Sansei: Hey, Kaminari... do you know what are they talking about?.- The pink haired boy whispered to his friend.
•Ichinose: Not quite, but I've heard about the Akito family before...- He replies back.
•Ban: Really?. What do you know?.
•Ichinose: I've seen them on the news before when I was younger, they were fairly recognized Pro Heroes of the same generation as All Might... I think they had a son that used to be a Pro Hero too...
•Sansei: Really!?... but that can't be Drayden, right?.
•Ichinose: No, last thing I've heard from that family is that the son died and both of them retired...
•Ban: So that means that he had a brother?.
•Ichinose: Probably?, never got to hear the full story, so this is basically just rumors...
On the other side of the room, All Might was now standing besides Drayden. The boy isn't happening about this meeting, but Izuku is blocking the door to keep him from going away. All Might has a sympathetic look on his face and puts his hand on Drayden's shoulder to calm him down.
•All Might: Young Akito...
•Drayden: Drayden, just call me Drayden... I hate that last name...- He said irritated.
•All Might: A-Alright, Drayden... look, I'm so sorry for what happened back then...
•Drayden: I don't need your sympathy... that won't bring him back.
Drayden just lowers his head, looking down. Izuku notices this and tries to cheer the mood on the room.
•Izuku: H-Hey, look... we are not here to make you feel bad, we are just here to give you a chance to redeem yourself!.
•Drayden: Huh?. Redeem myself?.
•All Might: Young Drayden, you have so much potential to be a symbol of peace for the future society... who knows, maybe one day you could be one of Midoriya's successors alongside the rest of the Class 1-A!.
•Izuku: What are we trying to say is that we don't want you to fall into the darkness, it's not something pleasant...
•All Might Midoriya's right, we just want to save you from the wrong path, and they too...
All Might points the dumb trio of kids behind him. They all just smile at Drayden with pure joy and wave at him, making him know that every plan to get rid of them won't work and they will always be on his side, but this doesn't really bother him; in fact, those thoughs just turns into a small smile in his face knowing that probably he found some people to call "friends". He turns to see All Might with that slight smile, making both Izuku and Might to smile too, knowing that Drayden is letting them stay in his heart.
•Drayden: Alright, Alright... I think that I can get used to this life.
•All Might: WONDERFUL!. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!.- All Might said this once again into his buffed form, ignoring the blood coughing.
•Izuku: ALL MIGHT!!!
•All Might: *Returning to his skinny form* Sorry, Sorry!, I was just happy with Drayden's acceptance that I couldn't contain my burst of happiness!.
The kids in the room laugh with All Might due to this comedic scene, and after a while All Might returns to his serious face looking straight to Drayden. The sudden shifts confuses him as a bit of sweat comes out of his forehead.
•All Might: Although, I'll go right to the point: What you did yesterday was truly reckless and you could have died in that exact moment!. What were you thinking!?.
•Ichinose: It was my fault, Mr. Might!.- Ichinose stood up from the sofa.- I was the one who chased the criminal so recklessly!
All Might turns his gaze to the purple haired boy and quickly walks up to him. He was looking quite upset and serious while looking straight into the boy's eyes while getting near.
•All Might: You're just like your father, a complete dumbass!. Why weren't you born with Jiro's common sense!?.
•Ichinose: I'm so sorry, Sir!, please don't get angry at me!.
While All Might was scolding the rest of the kids, Drayden is just looking at the scene and laughed slightly at the comical behavior of all of them, until Izuku called his attention, asking him if they could talk privately for a moment outside of the office. Drayden follows him through the door and they are now on the almost empty hallway of U.A's main building, so he is quite curious about what is going to happen now.
•Drayden: Is something wrong?.
•Izuku: No! No!... it's just that I didn't thank you properly for saving your classmates yesterday, you know, the heat of the moment...
•Drayden: It's alright, it was just the right thing to do. Isn't that what Heroes do?.
Izuku just smiles at that phrase, knowing that Drayden is finally opening a bit more to the idea of rehabilitation and turning into a Hero. It reminded him of his first year in U.A, where he learned the real meaning of being a Hero: To not only use your quirk to fame or Money, bit to really bring hope and happines to society.
•Izuku: Drayden...
•Drayden: Hmm?
•Izuku: Being a Hero is not an easy road... I've lost many things in my life, many of my friends lost things on this road... and if you are willing to follow this path of justice, you'll eventually lose something so precious to you. Are you sure you really want to do this?.
•Drayden: I've lost someone really precious to me before, but my young mind back then didn't take that well... I turned into a criminal and did a bunch of horrible stuff... but I am ready for redemption!
Izuku smiled once again, Drayden was now on the good side and that's all it mattered, but still, his danger sense was tickling a little bit... Something bad will end up happening...
•Izuku: Alright... but from now on, and for some time you will be under surveillance.
•Drayden: Huh?, "Surveillance"?
•Izuku: Yes, it was requested by All Might that you are under surveillance most of the time, probably for a month or so...
•Drayden: Don't tell me I'm gonna be watched by the "Three Stooges"!.
•Izuku: No!. Kaminari, Kirishima and Usagiyama are not very smart, so probably they would do something really stupid!. Hahahahahaha!
•Drayden: Then... who?
•???: That would be me.
A femenine voice spoke right behind Drayden, making him to turn around just to face a gorgeous girl with long, black hair and with cyan eyes. She had a cold and freezing glare that could turn Drayden into ice if that was her quirk, but she's just there, standing menacingly...

Hero Description
•Name: Aoi Todoroki.
•Age: 16 years old.
•Quirk: Fire.
•Relatives: Shoto Todoroki "Shoto" (Father). Momo Yaoyorozu "Creati" (Mother).
A cold and stoic girl who has no interest in almost anything, quitely comical due to the fact that she is a Fire user. Her quirk allows her to create and control the element at will and in really hight temperatures, and it's so powerful that it comes out blue and can burn almost anything to ashes.

•Izuku: Drayden, meet Aoi Todoroki!. She will be your watcher for all this surveillance process!. Well, have fun guys!, I have many things to do.
Izuku leave the hallway, leaving both Drayden and Aoi looking at each other without blinking. it seems like they aren't intimidated by each other, and Drayden walks towards her to try and maje some conversation.
•Drayden: So I'm gonna be watched by a cute girl?. Hey, I have no problem with that. Nice to meet you, I'm Dray- AAAAUGH!!!
Drayden just extended his arm for a handshake, but Aoi grabbed aggresively his wrist, heating up her hand and starting to slightly burn his skin. She is glaring at him in a cold and upset manner while burning Drayden's wrist, making him kneel on the floor.
•Aoi: Hear me out, scum: If you do anything that could potentially harm this school's reputation or any innocent student on it, I will make sure burn you alive and turn you into ashes... understood?
•Drayden: Y-YEAH I GET THE POINT BUT PLEASE LET GO MY WRIST!!!.
Ban, Ichinose and Sansei were heading outside All Might's office to see the ongoing scene of Aoi letting go Drayden's wrist with a burn on it. She looks very unpleased and turned her gaze to them, causing the boys to tremble in fear while trying to avoid her gaze.
•Aoi: You three, I'll keep an eye on you all to make sure you won't make this dumbass friend of yours do something that he would regret...
•Ban: Y-Yes, Ma'am!. We won't c-cause any touble!
•Sansei: In fact, w-we will change our behavior and try to be the p-perfect students!.
Aoi just glares at all of them one last time before walking away from that hallway. Drayden was holding his wrist out of pain due to the burn while the rest of the guys are looking to it.
•Ichinose: Wow, seems you already met the "Hell Queen", Aoi...
•Drayden: WHAT THE HELL IS HER PROBLEM!?
•Ban: Don't mind her, she's always like this... Anyways, what was that?.
•Drayden: Ugh, I have to be watched by her from now on thanks to a surveillance requested by All Might... give me a break, for the love of God...
•Sansei: Hahahahahaha!. Good luck getting alive from her then!.
•Drayden: Hey!, at least ve grateful that I sver your ass yesterday!
Both Sansei and Drayden started to play rough for a bit, laughing together. Upon seeing this, Ichinose's eyes started to shine and smiled while looking at them, he seemed really happy.
•Ichinose: Well, it's now decided!
•Drayden: Huh?, what do you mean?
•Ichinose: You're part of our squad permanently!. Don't even think that you'll get rid of us that easy!.- Ichinose said with a big smile on his face.
•Sansei: Yeah, you're now our Best Friend Forever!.
•Ban: Welcome aboard, Drayden...
The three of them were smiling together and Drayden was looking at them, and a couple seconds later a wide smile appeared in his face as well. The four boys did a fist bump together, and like that, a new friendship was born...
(A/N): Aaaaaaand here I am once again with the third chapter of our story, guys!. Not really much to say here, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I think is the longest one I've made so far XD.
