Day Of Relaxation

Today is a beautiful day in the Valley Of Peace. Shifu was giving his students a kung fu lesson as he stands in the circle.

"That's it." Shifu said, watching his students meditate. "Only by achieving inner peace, can a true kung fu master unfold, like a lotus flower. Calm, peaceful, relaxed." He notices Po isn't with them. "Where's Po?" he asks his students.

They heard Po yelling from the stone courtyard. Shifu quickly left the Training Hall. "Everyone, get ready!" Shifu shouted. His students ran out of the training hall and got into their kung fu stances. But they notice Po wasn't fighting anyone, he was only pulling a rope.

Leo saw his master become irritated that the panda was setting up a hammock. They all walk up to the Dargon Warrior.

"Come on." Po said, pulling the rope. "Just want... to take a nap." He finished setting up. "Take that, hammock."

"Ahem." Leo cleared his throat.

The panda turns around to see everyone looking at him. "Oh, hey guys." Po said. He chuckled. "How's the meditation going?"

"It was fine." Mantis said. "Until we have to rushed to save you from your attacker."

"Huh?" Po asked confused. He turns around and looks at the hammock. "Oh yeah. Sweet hammock, right?" He jumps on the hammock and the hammock sent him flying towards the Five and Leo. They were knocked down as Po bounces back into hammock and became tangled in it. "Oh, there we go." Po said. "See? Guys?" He looks over Tigress and Monkey getting up. Crane landed on the ground as Viper landed on Leo's chest while Mantis landed on the ground next to him.

Viper slithers off Leo to allow him to stand up.

"Master, can we postpone the meditation?" Tigress asks her master as she got up and turns around to walk back to the training hall. "Suddenly I'm in the mood to hit something."

"That makes two of us." Leo said, following the Furious Five back inside the Training Hall.

After they were done training, Shifu, the Furious Five and Leo was standing in front of the doors to the Hall Of Heroes.

"You want us to spend the day at the Zhu Jian Hot Springs?" Tigress asks her master after Shifu told them.

"Yes." Shifu answered. "You all been working really hard and deserve a day of relaxation."

"What does that mean?" Tigress asked.

"It just that I appreciate-"

"No." Tigress interrupted him. "What does "relaxation" mean?"

"I'll explain it on the way." Crane said, leading away.

"What about Po?" Mantis asks Shifu.

"He's not going." Shifu answered as Mantis followed Viper.

"Does Po know?" Monkey wondered, walking away with Leo.

Leo looks over his shoulder. "Seeing how he's not here, Po doesn't know." Leo said.

"Oh well." Monkey smiled. "Let's head to the springs."

The six warriors followed the path to Zhu Jian Hot Springs. There were several buildings and hot springs. They approached the desk where a young ibex female cleaning up her desk.

"Hello." the ibex said to Monkey.

"Hi." Monkey said.

"How many are in your party?"

"Six."

"Good."

"Here are your keys for the cabinets." the ibex said, handing the keys. "The changing rooms are in the Northwest Corner of the building. Blue door for men and pink for women. That goes for the entrance of several hot springs."

"Thanks." Monkey thanked her.

"Enjoy your stay." the ibex smiled.

Everyone heads to the changing room. There was a small flower vase on a small round table where there were two curtains that leads to the changing rooms.

"Alright, let's get changed and enjoy the hot springs." Monkey smiled.

His friends agreed and they went into the changing room, except for Leo and Tigress. The couple waited for their friends.

"How come you're not changing with the guys?" Tigress asks him.

"I'd rather not be here at the springs, Tigress." Leo answered.

"You rather stay at the palace and train?" Tigress asked.

"Yes." Leo replied. "And you too?"

"Correct, Leo." Tigress answered.

"Nice to hear that." Leo said. "If you excuse me, I'm going to find a quiet place to meditate."

"We'll see each other later then." Tigress said as she watches him walk away.

Leo found a nice quite spot in the back of the hot springs. The hot spring was big and round as there was several tables and chairs to the side. He walks up to a flat smooth rock and sits down to meditate.

"Leo?" a voice asked.

Leo opens his eyes and looks over his shoulder.

Monkey, Crane and Mantis were relaxing in the hot spring as Viper and Tigress were next door.

"This hot spring is nice." Crane said, relaxing in the water.

"It's nice to relax once in a while." Mantis said, floating on a leaf.

"Time to relax." Monkey smiled.

"You said it." a voice said.

The masters look to their right and notice a familiar person.

"Zu." Monkey smiled. "We didn't know you were going to be here."

"And we didn't know that you were going to be here as well." Zu said.

"Who's we?" Mantis asks him.

Standing a couple feet away behind him was the snow leopard Nala. She was wearing a white robe. "I didn't know you were going to be at the hot springs, Leo." Nala said to him.

"And I didn't know you were going to be here either, Nala." Leo said.

Nala walks up to him and sits down in front of him. "So, are you here by yourself?" the snow leopard asks Leo.

"No." Leo answered, shaking his head. "I'm here with the Furious Five."

"Interesting."

"Are you here by yourself?"

"No." Nala replied. "I'm here with Zhi, Qiao and Zu."

"They're here too?"

"Yes." Nala replied. "So, what brings you and the Furious Five here?"

"Shifu wanted us to have a day of relaxation here at the springs." Leo said. "I'd rather be training."

"Oh, come on, Leo." Nala chuckled. "You should spend some time relaxing."

"Hm." Leo said. "So, what brings you here?"

"The others invited me for a day of relaxation at the Zhu Jian Hot Springs." Nala replied. "They asked me when I arrived at Qiao's Village."

"That's nice." Leo smiled.

"And by the way." Nala said. "How are things with you? After what happened with the...?"

Leo lowered his head to look at the ground.

"Leo?" Nala asked him. "Did something happen when you returned to the Valley Of Peace?"

He didn't say anything as he stands up and walk to the edge of the hot spring. Leo crossed his arms and looks down at the hot spring. "Yes." Leo answered.

Nala stands up and walks up to him. "What happened?" Nala asks him.

Leo turns around to look at her. "When I returned to the Jade Palace, I found Temutai and his minions defeated the Furious Five. Po and I took on his minions before facing Temutai. I shot an orange beam at him too. I almost got sent flying out of the palace as I couldn't get out of the way. When Temutai was close, I didn't feel the impact."

"How?" Nala asks curiously.

"I found myself standing in a dark hallway." Leo explains. "There was a door standing several feet in front of me and I heard a growl. I climb some stairs and enter a room where there was a giant gate with the Yin Yang Symbol and candles were floating. The stairs disappeared and I heard that same growl again. I slowly walk to the gate and Kaira's face appeared. She offered me a tiny piece of her power. The next thing I knew, I was back in the Jade Palace. Temutai and I fought while the others watched. I went all out on Temutai, delivering two final palm strikes to make the symbol of the Yin and Yang appeared, causing an explosion that sent Temutai out the of the Jade Palace."

Nala nodded her head.

"After that, I explained to them what the emperor wanted me to do." He continued. "But I didn't tell them that my arms and legs were on fire like before. I told them that Han was dead, and I never mentioned I killed him."

"Do you know anything about Kaira?" Nala asks him. "What does she look like?"

"She has Tigress's face." Leo answered. "All I know from Master Ben that she's called the White Tailed Beast. She appeared fifty years ago at a village in the mountains on the night of the animal spirit festival and attacked the village. Several warriors fought the tiger and died. Two more warriors remained and used their remaining strength to defeat the White Tailed Tiger. The two warriors and the White Tailed Tiger were nowhere to be seen and the village was destroyed."

"Until Kaira appeared inside of you." Nala said.

"That's right." Leo said, looking at her.

"Did you talk to her?" Nala asks him.

"A couple times." Leo replied.

"You think she remembered how she was inside of you?"

"I doubt it. I've been reading some scrolls to see if they have any answers, but I haven't found any yet."

"Do they know about this?" Nala asks him.

"No." Leo answered. "I never told them about it."

"What?!" Nala gasps. "You didn't tell them about Kaira?"

"This does not concern them, Nala." Leo said to her. "I can't let them know about this."

"Leo, you need to tell them." Nala said. "You don't know how powerful this thing is."

"You think I don't know that?" Leo growled at her. "I'm keeping an eye on her."

Nala was about to protest and slips forward, causing them to fall into the hot spring with a big splash. Tigress came rushing in with Viper and Zhi. The three looks down at the hot spring as Leo and Nala came out of the water wet.

"What happened here?" Tigress asks Leo as he and Nala got out of the water.

"Nala and I both fell in the water." Leo answered. "Tigress Viper, this is Nala. The one who helped me on my mission."

"It's an honor to meet you, Master Tigress and Master Viper." Nala smiled, bowing to the two masters.

"We wanted to thank you and the others helping Leo, Nala." Viper said.

"You're welcome." Nala said.

"I see you already met Zhi." Leo said.

"They were pretty surprised when I met them in the hot spring." Zhi said.

"You mean I was in the hot spring." Viper said to her. "Tigress was about to join us until she almost hit the guy in the face with vase."

"He was carrying something suspicious in that vase." Tigress defended herself.

"I'm going to get a towel and dry off." Leo said, walking by the girls.

Leo was done drying himself. He went back to the hot spring wearing a white bathrobe and puts his wet clothes on a chair to dry out in the sun. Leo was wearing nothing but his boxers now since the staff didn't have any shorter pants for him since they forgot to wash the laundry yesterday. The staff will let him know if they find any clean clothes for him.

Leo stayed alone by himself for half of the day to meditate. He spent half of the day to wait for his clothes to dry out. His stomach growled and Leo left the hot spring to join his friends for lunch at the other hot spring. He sits down in a chair next to Zu, Viper and Mantis while the others were sitting at a separate table.

"We were wondering if you were going to meditate all day, Leo." Mantis said.

"Even I have to eat too, Mantis." Leo replied, eating a tofu.

"I take it they didn't give you any fresh clothes, Leo?" Viper asks him, noticing the bathrobe.

"No." Leo replied. "So I have to go with what I have on my body for now. My wet clothes should be dried out in another hour or two."

"We might leave sooner than you think." Mantis said.

"And why is that?"

"Tigress thought that one of the workers was plotting something on Monkey." Mantis explains. "She thought that the worker was going to kill Monkey with a basket of poison fruit, but the worker only had a basket of dry clothes and Tigress pinned him to the ground."

Leo had said nothing as he looks over at the table where Tigress is and took a drink from his tea. "How are things in Qiao's village, Zu?"

"Things are doing fine." the young lion answered. "I've returned the things I've stolen, and the village elder is letting me live with them."

"Good." Leo said.

"You guys should come visit us sometime." Zu said.

"If we have time, Zu." Leo said.

After lunch, Leo went back to his spot and waited for another hour for his clothes to dry off. His clothes were dry, and he puts them back on. He spent the rest of his afternoon meditating alone. When Leo opens his eyes, he heard a faint voice from behind. He turns around and sees his own shadow smiling at him evilly. Leo began to chase after his shadow into the building. The shadow runs around the corner.

When Leo came around the corner and saw his shadow trapped, he delivered a strong punch to the chest that sent his shadow flying through the wall.

"What is happening in here?!" the ibex shouted, running by Leo.

Leo looks down and notice he didn't punch his shadow, but a goat instead.

The ibex helps the goat to sit up and looks at Leo. "You and your friends need to get the hell out!"

Leo and The Furious Five were waking up the steps to the Jade Palace.

"Tch." Leo said. "That was supposed to be fun?"

"It was until Tigress attacked the guy and you punched a goat to through the wall." Mantis said.

"He looked suspicious." Leo said to the bug.

"Well, I'm tired." Mantis said when they reached the top. "I bet Po is sleeping now."

"I don't think so." Leo said, noticing Po and Shifu training.

"Po is training at this hour?" Tigress wondered. "Wonder what got him to train." She looks at Leo. "Or what you and Nala were talking about before we left."

"Nothing of importance." Leo replied.
