"Hey dad you hear that?" Alexis asks as she is in a tree with Rafael as the two hear commotion and see the kids attacking two blue birds.

"Oh no." Rafael says.

"Help!" The male blue bird shouts in alarm before Alexis and Rafael fly over.

"What's going on down there? Go, go. Off with you." Rafael says as the kids leave the two birds alone.

"Daddy!" The kids shout happily.

"I've told you a thousand times. Manoela, Sofia, come on now. Listen to me." Rafael says as the kids begin to leave.

"Little terrors on wings sometimes I swear." Alexis says as she watches the kids leave.

"Maybe but I remember someone else being just as mischievous in more ways than one when she was their age." Rafael says.

"Yeah but I at least grew out of it." Alexis says.

"Precious aren't they?" The female blue bird asks.

"Kids? Seventeen of them and one on the way." Rafael says as Alexis sees two of the kids shaking one of the eggs in the nest.

"Alright you two knock it off. Go on." Alexis says as she flies up and shoos the kids away.

"They're giving me gray feathers. This papa needs a break. So you two lovebirds headed for Carnival?" Rafael asks as Alexis flies down to him as the kids fly off.

"Lovebirds?" The female blue bird asks.

"We're more like acquaintance-birds." The male blue bird says.

"Not even that we're more like chained-to-each-other birds." The female blue bird says.

"Yeah. I mean if... Ouch! What is it with this kid and the feathers?" The male blue bird asks as one of the kids bites him and pulls feathers and walks away laughing.

"We have no idea. We're having him tested." Rafael says as he picks the kid up.

"Don't worry. He does it to everyone. Us including sometimes." Alexis says with slight annoyance.

"So do you think you could help us get this thing off?" The female blue bird asks as she gestures to a chain around her and the male blue birds ankles.

"Lucky for you two you know Rafael and Rafael knows everyone." Rafael says proudly.

"He really does. He knows a lot of people. If anyone can help it's him. Ouch!" Alexis says as she gets hit by one of the kids.

"Okay want me to call your mother?" Rafael asks.

"No!" The kids shout in fear as they all scatter.

"Works every time. They're scared to death of her." Rafael says as he chuckles.

"Call me for what?" Eva asks annoyedly as she comes flying down.

"Eva my love... I must take this young couple to see Luiz. I am also bringing Alexis. You know how she enjoys going for a fly." Rafael says nervously as Alexis looks at him.

"Luiz! You don't fool me for a second. You and your amigo just want to sneak off to Carnival." Eva says unconvinced as she crosses her arms.

"Carnival. That magical time when l met the most beautiful bird in the world. Istill remember the song that was playing when l first laid eyes on you. Tall and tan and young and lovely. The girl from lpanema goes walking. Come on baby sing it!" Rafael says as he begins singing with Eva.

"And when she passes each one she passes goes ah!" Eva says as she screeches while singing.

"Like a river of the sweetest honey." Rafael says as he smiles.

"I guess love is deaf too." The blue female bird says as Alexis nods in agreement.

"Come here." Rafael says as he kisses Eva.

"Okay. Take them to Luiz but hurry back. Alexis you stay close to your father." Eva says happily.

"You are an angel. I'll miss you my juicy little mango." Rafael says.

"I'll miss you my pudgy papaya. Hey! Marco! Carlos! Put your brother down now!" Eva shouts as she flies back into the tree.

"I can't believe that worked." Alexis says.

"I can't believe she actually let me go." Rafael says.

"So how far is this Luiz?" The blue male bird asks.

"Not far. Thirty minutes as the crow flies." Rafael says.

"And how long as the macaw walks?" The blue male bird asks.

"Walks? Why would we walk?" Alexis asks.

"Bobo here can't fly." The female blue bird says.

"You're kidding right?" Alexis asks.

"I wish I was." The female blue bird says annoyedly.

"But he's a bird." Rafael says.

"Not all birds fly. There are ostriches..." The male blue bird says.

"You're not an ostrich." The female blue bird says angrily.

"Not technically but..." The male blue bird says.

"Wait. My friends l want to help but to walk the whole way... It can't be done!" Rafael says as the group sees Eva having her wings full with the kids asking where Rafael is.

"Feel like staying instead?" Alexis asks as she looks at Rafael.

"But hey. We might as well give it a shot. Let's go quickly. No don't look back. They sense fear." Rafael says as he pushes the group along as they leave.
