"Oh come on Blu. It's not so bad." Alexis says as the group is on a cliff edge as Blu looks over the edge and fearfully backs away as humans are paragliding nearby.
"To all of you maybe. I've changed my mind yeah. Maybe we can find a bus schedule or something." Blu says worriedly.
"Come on. You're not going to back out now. Not in front of the lady." Rafael says as he goes over to Blu as the two look at Jewel.
"Okay yeah. Yeah. Sure." Blu says nervously.
"All right that's the spirit." Rafael says happily.
"You're sure you're up for this?" Jewel asks.
"Yeah, yeah. I mean it's not like we're just hurling ourselves off a mountain or something. Right?" Blu asks worriedly.
"Actually that was pretty much my entire plan." Rafael says.
"What?" Blu asks in alarm.
"Don't worry Blu. It's in your DNA." Rafael says.
"Plus we'll be right behind the two of you." Alexis says.
"And if our featherless friends can do it how hard can it be?" Rafael asks.
"Wait, wait! Mommy!" A human shouts fearfully as he paraglides off the mountain side.
"Fun right?" Rafael asks.
"Yeah. Fun." Blu says worriedly as Alexis sighs.
"Dad you're not helping. Listen Blu all birds can fly. Or well most of them. But you're one who can. You just gotta believe that you can and you'll be fine." Alexis says as she looks at Blu.
"Yeah. Thanks..." Blu says.
"Okay. I need you two to get closer. Closer. Nice. Now put your wings around each other." Rafael says as Blu steps a little closer to Jewel.
"What?" Blu asks in surprise.
"Come on amigo! It's not like she's going to bite!" Rafael says.
"I do." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Well my daughter would but come on now. Jewel won't." Rafael says.
"Will you?" Blu asks as he looks at Jewel.
"We'll see." Jewel says as she and Blu puts their wings around each other.
"Now you flap your right wing. You flap your left wing. And together you fly." Rafael says.
"But this doesn't seem aerodynamically possible." Blu says worriedly.
"I have to agree. Dad you sure about this?" Alexis asks.
"You two think too much. Flying is not what you think up here. It's what you feel in here. And when you feel the rhythm of your heart it's like samba. You fly! See? It's easy!" Rafael says as he and Alexis take off flying.
"Easy? Easy for you to say because from here it looks really, really hard." Blu says worriedly before he and Jewel try flying only for Blu to freak out at the last minute and cause them to fall.
"I knew this wouldn't work. I'll follow them from below dad." Alexis says as she flies to the ground and shifts to wolf form as she runs toward the beach.
*Timeskip*
As Alexis reaches the beach she quickly turns back to bird form and flies toward Rafael as the two see Blu and Jewel get knocked around before they land roughly in the sand.
"You two alright?" Alexis asks.
"Alive? Yes. Alright. No." Blu says as Rafael tsks as him.
"You did not feel it in here." Rafael says as he gestures to his heart.
"You think?" Jewel asks annoyedly as she spits out some sand.
"Hey look." Alexis says as the group sees a truck getting ready to leave.
"Good idea my dear. Let's catch a ride to Luiz. Hurry you two!" Rafael says as the group runs over and gets in the back of the truck with some fruit.
"I would love to go five minutes without almost getting killed. Is that too much to ask?" Blu asks as he lays back against the fruit.
"For a bird who can't fly? Yeah." Jewel says as the group leaves in the truck.
