Hello everyone,

I would like to thank everyone who read, and liked my story, 'The Dark, Raising the Child of Prophecy.'

When I was originally writing it I didn't realize how much fun I would have writing that fic, and even as I finished it I couldn't stop thinking about Naruto and Tom, and how their life within Hogwarts. I also keep having thoughts about what their future would be like, so with those thoughts I decided I have to continue writing within this universe.

So, yes this story is within the same universe as The Dark, Raising the child of Prophecy and will go into more details about their time in Hogwarts. Then maybe I'll write a sequel to the story one day as well.

Finally last thing I would like to note, if you see anything that seems like I may have retconned from the original story, I would like to give my excuse, Tom, is 53 years old in that story and it's been 42 years since the events of this story, there is bound to be some flaws with his memories with his memories in all of that time.

Anyways I hope you all end up enjoying this, even if it's a little. Or hate it, either way works for me.

Inside of a bedroom was a blond-haired boy with tan skin sitting. Wearing a fox designed pajama set, was sitting at his desk reading a book called the Tale of Utterly Gutsy Shinobi . The light from the morning sunlight beaming through his window, a light breeze coming in keeping the room cool.

Through the open window a brown owl carrying a letter sealed shut by wax with an 'H' imprint on it. Howling towards the boy to get his attention, the boy turned around looking at the creature. A small smile on his face not meeting his blue eyes. Reaching underneath his desk pulling out some owl treats and handing some over to it, while taking the envelope, where it then quickly flew back out the window.

Looking down towards the envelope he let out a sad sigh, looking over towards the trash can debating whether or not to tear it up and throw it away without his parents noticing.

Shaking his head at the thought he knew his parents wouldn't buy that he never received the letter to Hogwarts. So sitting down at the desk and opening up the envelope, two pieces of paper fell out. A part of him was praying it would be a rejection letter, but as he looked at the fallen paper on the desk, sure enough it was his acceptance letter.

With a sad smile, he clapped his hands together a few times and then a loud pop was heard in the room, "Master Naruto, has summoned Darren?" A small creature with pointy ears, wearing a ragged brown looking bag had said.

Not looking towards the house elf that had just come in, keeping his head drawn on the envelope "Yes, I need you to inform my parents that I just got my acceptance letter into Hogwarts," Giving a bow that the boy couldn't see, "I'll summon Master Minato, and Mistress Kushina right away Master Naruto." Disappearing out of his room.

He spent the next few minutes quietly staring blankly at the letters in front of him. When he heard two sets of footsteps coming closer to his door he quickly stood up from the desk putting on a fake smile, grabbing the letters into his hands.

Turning around as he heard knocking on his bedroom door, before opening up to reveal two people standing outside of the room with bright smiles on their faces.

One of them was a woman with gorgeous flowing red-hair running down her back. Wearing a red designer robe, Her red eyes shone brightly as she stared towards her son with a bright smile on her face.

Just behind her in the open door frame stood a man that looked almost identical to the boy in the room, wearing a designer golden-yellow robe, with spiky blond-hair, blue eyes, and tan skin staring blankly towards his son.

They both entered the room with a smile. "Ah, we are both glad to hear that the letter has finally arrived-" Minato said, reaching out his hand to take the letters from his son. "I'm glad to see that everything is still going according to the plan."

The red haired women took the supply list looking it over. "Ah, we should go shopping right away, so we can be ahead of the game."

Meanwhile Naruto continued to stand there silently keeping up his fake smile as his parents continued to pay attention to the letters. As Minato looked up from the acceptance letter towards his wife. "You are quite correct, the sooner we get that done the better-" turning over to his son now with a stern voice, "You better get changed into a more appropriate outfit, we are going to be heading out."

"Yes, sir" Naruto said, his voice kept stoic. ""Good-"" Both of his parents said, turning around and starting to head out of the room. "Be ready in an hour dear, that's when we will be leaving." The red head finished off before closing the door behind her.

Slumping back down into his chair, Naruto clapped his hands once more making the same house elf as before pop into his room. "Master Naruto Summoned me?"

Turning around towards the house elf, "Yes Darren, I need you to pick out an appropriate outfit for me." Without any hesitation the house elf had set off going through Naruto's wardrobe.

Getting off the chair and walking to the door, "I'm going to go wash myself, leave the outfit on the hanger in the washroom for me." slamming the door shut behind him before the house elf could reply back to him.

Once he was done washing himself off, he saw an orange designer robe, with a small black outline making an overall on the left side of the robe. Inside of it was a circle colored in red, with a swirl coming off from the bottom right of the circle.

Quickly putting on his robe, Naruto walked down the stairs where his parents were waiting for him at the door. "Naruto, your mother told you to be ready in an hour, You are five minutes late." His voice was stern and strict.

"I'm sorry, father, I'm sorry mother, it won't happen again." His voice stoic as he looked both his parents in the eye. Both giving him a small smile, his mother replying back in a calmer voice than his father. "Good, it's best to be punctual."

"Yes ma'am, I'll make sure I pay better attention to the time next time." With that a house elf that had been waiting outside the door opened it up. Minato and Kushina walked out of the house ignoring the elf walking towards a wooden carriage. Naruto walked out giving a little thanks to the elf as he headed towards the carriage.

A man that was in his thirties stood at the wooden carriage holding the doors open for the approaching family. With his head dipped in a slight bow. Kushina with the aid of Minato climbed into the carriage followed by Naruto.
"We are heading to Diagon Alley-" climbing into the carriage taking a seat next to his wife, sitting across from Naruto, "And I want to get there quickly." Not spearing another glance to the man who had now shut the door, and gone to the front of the carriage.

With a shout from the driver of the carriage had started to move without anything visibly being there to move it. Riding down the garden of the Namakaze residence a giant gate slowly began to open. Turning onto the road going through the city.

Inside Kashuna and Minato were talking about the needed supplies that they would need to get to supply their son. Naruto on the other hand was just staring out a window at the scenery.

"Naruto!" Minato yelled out, getting Naruto's attention. "Your mother has been trying to get your attention for the past two minutes, you must always be paying attention," his voice is stoic, void of any emotions

Quietly he responded back "Yes Father, sorry mother for not paying better attention to you."

Kashuna gives a slight glare at Minato. "Oh, don't worry about it too much, you know how strict your father can be." Minato shot a glare back at his wife. "Anyways, we figured it would be best to stop and get your wand first, then your school uniform, leaving the rest of the stuff you will need for our servants to fetch.

With faux happiness he couldn't tell if his parents bought or not, but he hoped they did, and replied back with a simple agreement to the both of them. With that Minato and Kushina started to talk about the ongoing war within China. Naruto proceeded to look out the window and ignored the conversation that his parents were having.

After riding in the carriage for almost thirty minutes they had arrived at Diagon Alley. A bunch of brick buildings coming in varying sizes and colors lined the narrow street. People were walking through the street as the carriage continued through the street.

Coming to a stop, in front of a storefront with a wooden sign reading Ollivanders Wand Shop. The driver hopped off of the carriage and walked over to the door, opening it up once more with his head down in a slight bow. Minato being the first one to climb out, giving a hand to help Kushina get down followed by Naruto.

As they entered the street, the nearby wizards and witches recognized the family. Most everyone on the street were giving them glares, while others were gossiping about the family, with everyone actively avoiding the family.

Paying no attention to the people on the street, Minato opened up the door to the shop, looking back towards his wife who was standing there elegantly with a smirk on her face sending shivers down his spine worried about what she may be thinking.

Looking towards his son, he was looking down towards the ground slouching. His face held clear discomfort at the bystanders standing around them. "Naruto! You know better than to slouch, stand up straight, and you must carry yourself with dignity and respect outside of the house."

With that call out Naruto Squeaked jumping up correcting his posture. "And make sure you never allow people see that you are uncomfortable, you must stand proud with the honor of a true Japanese."

Turning back away from his son, pleased with him standing up correctly and his face not showing any emotions, Minato motioned for Kashuna to enter the shop.

As Naruto was following Kashuna into the shop, an older male wizard wearing a dirty brown robe that has been torn to shreds from age. Grey hair, and more wrinkles than what should be normal, was about to cut in between the family scowling at them.

Barking out in a low deep angry voice, "You three should go back to where you came from, none of your kind is welcomed here."

Naruto slightly reached out his leg, unnoticed by the people around him. As the man walked into his path, he ended up falling down to the ground.

The guy scowled, picking himself off the ground. Turning around towards the boy about ready to yell at him. He looked up seeing four pairs of eyes glaring at him. Both adults already have their hands on their wands. The man looked back down at the blond child who had tripped him, and growed under his breath before turning around and quickly scurrying away.

Naruto was biting his lips hard as he watched the man fall to the ground hard. Watching the man get back up before running away with his tail between his legs almost had him bursting up with laughter. But knowing his parents would get mad at him, he continued biting his lips harder until they started to bleed.

Meanwhile Kashuna and Minato both had small smirks as they watched the man scurry away. Taking their hands off of their wands, Minato turned back around to the door, waving his hands into the building to signal for Kashuna and Naruto to enter inside.

Inside the building, were shelves as high as the ceiling, and spanning all around the shop. On all of the shelves rectangular boxes of varying sizes and colors were scattered throughout the spaces.

As the family was looking around the shop, a man in his mid to late thirties, Wearing a dark green robe, short black hair, came out from behind some curtains that were concealing the room to the back of the shop.

"Hello, and welcome to my shop-" came the excited voice of the man. Never forgoing his smile as he looked on towards the family. "My name is Garrick Ollivander, how am I able to be of service to the Namakaze family today?"

Minato gave a slight nudge to his son, to get him to answer the man's questions. Looking back towards his dad for a brief second finally replying to the man "I am in need of a wand to use for my first year at Hogwarts," His voice for the first time this day held some real excitement as he mentioned his wand.

"First wand for your first year of Hogwarts-" the man replied back his voice as excited as ever, "Now I do believe I can be of service with that Mr. Namikaze."

Grabbing a box from the nearest shelf, opening it up and handing the wand that was inside towards the boy. "Here you go, it's a thirteen inch oak, with a unicorn core. Go on and give it a try"

Taking the wand from the man and looking at it, puzzled at what to do next, "Go on and give it a little wave," The wand craftsman spoke excitedly. The blond waved the wand around. As he was waving the wand, the shelves in the back exploded. Scattering all of the boxes that were on it throughout the building.

Dropping the wand in shock from the explosion the man just looked around, "Nope not that one-" Before climbing up a ladder and grabbing another box. Opening it and handing over the wand to Naruto " ten and half inches, Cedar Dragon Heartstring core."

Waving the wand that was just handed to him caused the mirrors in the shop to shatter into pieces. "Nope, that's not it either," looking around the room for other wands to try out.

After about twenty attempts at using a wand, and none of them accepting him, Naruto was starting to get annoyed at the shop keeper. "Alright let's go ahead and give this one a try, It's a twelve and a half inch Red Oak, with a Dragon Heartstring."

Taking a deep breath to calm himself down, he took the wand from the man. As he did, he started feeling a strong sense of warmth go over his body, and the tip of the wand start to light up.

Minato and Kushina, who had been standing in the background, quietly looked at each other with excitement. The shop owner kept smiling towards the boy, "There we have it Mr. Namikaze, you have your first wand."

"Thank you Mr. Ollivander for helping me with my wand." A genuine smile showed bright as he spoke to the man. "It was a pleasure Mr. Namikaze to be of service to you.

With that the family paid for the wand, and left the shop without another word to the man. The family started walking down the street towards the clothing shop. All along the way people continued to glare towards them, and gossip about the family.

Quickly moving through the streets ignoring everyone along the way They came to a small store front, with big wide windows. Showing off some of the robes and other outfits that they had currently in stock.

Going into the building they were greeted with a glare from the clerk behind the counter. A woman in her mid fifties with greying hair and a simple black robe on. "What can I do for you three today?" Her voice low, filled with distaste as she said those words.

Minato spoke up quickly and replied back to her calmly in his natural stoic voice. "We are here to get some school uniforms for our son-" looking around the store then back at her, "Though as I see it you don't sell anything that could even be considered good, so we will just go elsewhere."

Minato started walking towards the door, opening it up, turning around towards his family to follow him out of the store, without another word being said.

"Good riddance to that," the store clerk said, voice filled with venom. Kushina turned around as she was about to exit the store, "Have as lovely of a life as your personality may allow for it." In a sing-song voice.

Minato closed the door, as Naruto stepped out of the shop head looking down towards the ground. Bumping into him, with a stern look getting Naruto to stand straight with his head held high.

Walking down the street a little longer they came across another storefront that sold clothing. Going into the building this time a younger woman wearing a dark blue robe, and flowing brown hair was behind the counter talking to another customer.

Kushina looks around the building, dragging Naruto over to a side of the store with high quality robes. "Don't you think these would look good on you Naruto!" Grabbing the sleeve of the outfit his mother was talking about, a simple black robe, made out of high quality fabric.

"Yes mother, I think this would make for an appropriate outfit for my day to day schooling." His mother, looking pleased at the response, walked off towards the counter to talk to the store clerk.

Naruto on the other hand had been walking around the store, looking at the small selection this store had in stock. Making sure to keep his posture correct and his face neutral to keep his father pleased.

Looking back to where his father was standing, Next to the door with a stern look, looking around the store at the other few customers that were in the store.

"Naruto," His mother called out snapping him back, he turned around to see his mother standing next to the store clerk.

Naruto, when looking at her, didn't seem so pleased to be helping them out, but she didn't say anything about it, just keeping a faux smile on her face as she spoke in what sounded to him like a really fake customer service voice.

"Look, at you I heard that you were looking for some uniforms for Hogwarts." Giving her a small fake smile with a calm voice, "Yes, I am ma'am I'll be attending my first year at Hogwarts and I need to look my best while I am there."

Looking towards his mother who nodded in agreement he continued on, "I saw these robes here and I believe they would do excellently," Grabbing onto the same robe that his mother had chosen for him to show the clerk.

"That's an excellent choice sir-" Grabbing the robe and turning around "Now if you will please follow me so we can get you measured and fit it for you sir."

Naruto and Kushina quietly followed behind the witch, as she guided them to a small room with mirrors circling a small platform. "Alright sir, if you may just step up right here and we'll get you sorted out."

Stepping up like he was told to, the woman quickly pulled out some measuring tapes and started measuring him. She quickly took down his height, waist sizes and sizes of his shoulders, biceps and arms.

"Alright everything is marked down, now just give us a few moments to resize the robes for you sir." Quickly walking out with the robe, leaving the two waiting in the small room.

After standing in there for about five minutes or so, the same lady came back in with the same faux smile still on, "Alright go ahead and try this on-" handing the robe to the boy, "Once you're ready, let me know if you need any changes." Walking back out of the room.

Kushina gave a small nod to her son, following the store clerk out of the room leaving Naruto alone.

Taking a look at the plain black robe, he quickly switched into them. Checking in the mirrors looking around making sure everything fits correctly. As he was looking in the mirror at the outfit, he gave it a nasty glare. Wanting to rip it to shreds.

As he continued to glare out the robe that will mark him to magical Britain for the next seven years of his life until he graduates. While he was glaring at the robe, his mother yelled into the changing room, "Everything okay, in there dear?"

Snapping out of his thoughts, and turning around towards the door where his mother had called from. Taking a deep breath to collect himself. "Yes, mother, I am fine-" Taking one last look at the robe, "Everything fits fine and it looks great."

Walking out of the changing room after switching back to his robe. He hands over the new robe to the store clerk who thanked him and quickly ran to the backroom promising to have the rest of the robes size in a few minutes.

The red haired woman looked down towards her son, "Now, I know you aren't excited about this, but you know this is for the best right?" Looking down towards his feat, replying quietly in a whisper that was barely hearable to his mother standing next to him, "I know mother, I just wish I could go back home."

Looking down at her son, with a frown across her face, "I know you are sweetie, but you must be strong for us okay." nodding his head slowly at his mothers words, they heard the woman that's been helping them call out to them.

Quickly walking over to the counter, and checking out the robes making sure that their quality was perfect. After Kushina gave them her approval, she paid for the robes, and walked towards her husband who's been standing next to the door, with Naruto in close behind.

With a quick nod to his family who was approaching them he opened up the door to the shop, letting his wife and son out of the store before quickly following behind them..

Outside of the shop, was the carriage waiting for them, with their servant standing by the door with it opened up, his head down in a slight bow. Helping his wife, into the carriage who handed off the robes to the servant, then his son before entering himself. The servant closed the door, walking to the back of the carriage, putting the robes carefully in the back storage compartment with the rest of Naruto's school supplies that had been gotten. Then going to the front of the carriage hopping on the seat and taking off back to the Namakaze residence.

The ride home was quiet, Minato was quietly writing a letter, while Kushina was reading one of her books, Naruto was sitting there quietly looking out the window thinking of his friends back at home, wishing to be back home.

Once the carriage came to a stop in the garden of a large two story building, the servant stepped down and opened the door, with another bow.

Minato looked over towards his son, "Your mother and I have a meeting at the ministry to go to. We should be back in time for dinner." Nodding his head towards his father, "Alright, Father, Mother I'll see you at dinner tonight."

Climbing out of the carriage taking a glance at the back where the house elves were already collecting all of his things and taking them up to his room. Walking away towards the front door of his house, looking back with a frown as the carriage took off back out of the garden and down the street.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

An eleven year old boy, in an old dark blue torn robe that no longer fit him, with short black hair, and pale skin was walking down the narrow streets of Diagon Alley by himself.

Walking down the streets looking at the buildings around him trying to figure out which one that he needed to go to. He was holding a sheet of paper with a list of supplies that he would need for Hogwarts, with a voucher to help pay for the needed supplies.

Jumping out of the way of a carriage coming down the street, giving a glare as it passes him by. Turning around back at the buildings, he looked down at the list of supplies that he would need.

First thing on the list that he needed to get was his uniform for school. Looking around quickly at the buildings, he walked into the first clothing shop that he had found.

Seeing a young woman with flowing brown hair, wearing a dark blue robe, standing behind the counter, talking to another witch behind the counter, one a bit older, with darker brown hair, wearing a green robe.

As he approached the counter he could hear what they were gossiping about. Laughing about how that Japanese family should just go back home. Also laughing about how stuck up that guy standing by the door was.

Getting up to the counter being unnoticed by the two clerks, he clears his throat. "Excuse me," The two witches turned their heads quickly to the sound to see the young boy standing there.

"Oh pardon us sir, how can we help you?" The older woman spoke up. Quietly handing the list over with the voucher, "Ah, I see you need some new clothes then? Right this way please-" walking out from behind the counter over towards some used black robes that were just hanging up in the corner of the store.

"Now Dear, Let's go ahead and get you into something that might actually fit you." Picking some of the robes, that looked like they would fit him, with a smile on her face.

Leading the boy towards the fitting room, he walked in to try on the robe while the women went off to get the rest of the stuff that the young man would need.

Staring at himself in the mirror wearing the used robe that the clerk had handed to him. Trying to fight back a small smile that threatened to show on his face at the excitement of finally having cloth that would fit him.

Quickly getting changed back into his normal robe, and stepping out of the changing room the older woman was standing there with a bright smile "Alright, so how did that fit sir?"

Looking up to her, with a smile upon his face, "They fit perfectly thank you."

"That's great to hear!-" turning around from the boy and towards the used robes, "We'll grab the other four that you will need, and I already went through the store to get the gloves, and the hat you'll need at the counter."
Grabbing the rest of the robes that were needed they headed up to the counter. Handing the voucher over to the clerk, who quickly wrote the needed information to collect the payment from the school.

The younger clerk handed the young boy a plain green everyday robe, with a smile on her face, "Why don't we make a trade, We'll be happy to take that old robe of yours and give you this one that might fit ya."

Looking up to both women at the counter, in shock and confusion at the offer he was just given. Frozen up in front of the counter staring at the two ladies. The young one walked out from around the counter and lightly grabbed onto the young boy chuckling.

"Now, now come along and let's get you into something more suitable for a young gentleman such as yourself-" Pulling him along to the changing area, "Go ahead and get changed," pushing him into the changing area.

Inside the room with the robe in his hand, just coming out of his shock, looking down at the robe he quickly changed out of the tight fitting robe into the new.

Looking at his reflections in the mirror a small smile crept up on his face as some tears started to roll down his eyes. Rubbing his eyes trying to recollect himself.

He didn't know how long he was standing in there trying to stop himself from crying, but if it was a while the store clerks didn't seem to say anything as he came.

Walking over to the counter with the old robe and handing it over to the clerks, quietly thanking them for their kindness. They just nodded back at him, "Oh, it is nothing at all dear, and if you have any other used robes you would like to trade in, don't be shy."

Waving at the two as he turned around from the two clerks to leave the store feeling like he had just landed on a jackpot.

Exiting the store, back on the street a bag full of his school uniforms. Looking down at his school list. People passing him by him take off down the street to collect the rest of his needed supplies.

Going around to different shops in Diagon Alley for the past several hours collecting all his needed school books. It was nine books in total. Some of them were used books with torn pages, and black ink marking the pages. Others that were newer and looked unused were made from cheap martiale that when touching the pages it felt like they would be torn out.

Sitting off to the side, he pulled out a charm that he snuck from his father to shrink down the books to a more manageable size, so that he was able to fit the nine books into one of his pockets.

Repeating the same process going to the other shops to buy the other items that were on the school supply list. Shrinking them all down to fit into the pocket of his robe. He had only one stop left, this was the stop that he was the most excited about.

Walking down the streets looking for his intended shop. Pushing his way through the busy crowd coming to the building he was looking for. Reading the sign reading, Ollivanders Wand Shop.

Opening the door quickly and walking into the building lined with shelves and boxes filling the shelves.

A man on a ladder, stocking some wands smiles at the boy as the bell on the door chimed. "Welcome, to my shop young sir-" climbing down from the ladder to stand in front of the boy with an excitement filling his voice, "And who may you be?"

Taking a few steps back at the man's energy, freaked out by him replied nervously, "Tom Riddle, sir-" looking around the shop at all of the wands, "Did you really make all of these sir?"

Gleefully the man jumped up in excitement, "Oh, my I certainly did craft each and every single one of these wands-" giving a grand gesture around him "Each wand crafted specifically to enhance it's chosen welders power. And by the way, Tom, you may call me Garrick."

"Wow that's amazing si- uh I mean Garrick." The excitement was starting to come out of Tom as he got more giddy.

"You really like wands don't you Tom,"

"Yeah, ever since I was little, wands and how they worked has always interested me."

Chuckling at the kids' response. "Now that's the type of interest I can relate to, I have always had a strong interest in the workings of wands,"

After spending several minutes talking about wands to each other Garrick broke the conversation, "Ah I think we have something more important to do right now than just talk about wands don't we Tom?"

Gasping in shock that he had almost forgotten about why he actually came here today, "You're right, I am here to get my first wand for Hogwarts!"

The clerk turned around back to the ladder, "Ah, how exciting is that your first wand-" looking back at the boy with a bright smile, the excitement clear in his voice, "Now let's get you a wand."

Climbing up the ladder and picking a box at random, "Alright let's give this one a try shall we, opening the box to a brown wand, "Ten inch oak with a unicorn core." Handing it over to Tom who gladly accepted it. Quickly flicking the wand in excitement, the boxes that were on the shelf started flying around half haphazardly.

Tom let out a nervous chuckle, "I guess that isn't the right one is it." keeping a cautious eye on the clerk. The man looked around the room laughing. "Now, my boy it's more than alright no reason to be nervous, we'll find you the right one in no time."

Picking up a box that had landed on the counter, "Ah let's go ahead and give this one a try shall we. It's a twelve and half inch willow, with a dragonheart string,"
Taking the wand from the store clerk, waving it slower than he had with the previous one, keeping a nervous eye on the man before him who continued to hold a bright smile on his face, encouraging him to go on.

With the wave of the wand, Several mirrors that were hanging about the store, shattered into many broken pieces of glass.

Tom handed the wand back over to Garrick, trying to cover his face nervously within his robe. Taking the wand from the boy and patting him lightly on the back. "This happens all the time while trying to find a new wand for someone. We will be sure to find one for you in no time-" putting the wand back in the box, and turning around from the boy, "Now let's see here."

After trying several other wands that the man had picked out, none of them accepting Tom as their new master, Garrick Jumped up with excitement, making Tom jump back nervously, as the man ran to the back of the shop.

Tom looked on nervously as the man ran into the back and out of sight from him. Looking around the destroyed shop the boy couldn't help but feel guilty about destroying it.

After a little while of standing there looking around the shop, the man came back out and towards Tom with that same bright smile on his face like it was his default face.

"Here we go, I had just completed this wand, right before you got here. It's a special and powerful wand, I figured we should go ahead and give this one a try- '' Taking the wand out of the box, "It's a thirteen and half inch, Yew wood, with a phoenix feather core," Handing it over to tom, nervously taking it.

Taking the wand nervously from the man, the tip of the wand had started to grow bright. Tom slightly waving the wand, could feel a rush of power coarse through him.

A bright smile Broke on Tom's face with the excitement of having found his new wand. "Ah, very good, that's a special wand you got there Tom. The phoenix that gave that feather gave only a second one. I don't know what that might mean but I think we might be able to except big things from you, I can feel it,"

Nervously chuckling under his breath, taking a few steps back at what the man was saying about him. "I don't know about all of that, but thank you sir for all of the help-" Giving one last look around the store, "Uhm, pardon me, but do you need any assistance in cleaning up this mess?"

Looking towards the mess that Tom was staring at, giving a big grin, "Oh, I appreciate the offer, but there is no need for that. I have charms set up around the shop, once you leave they will be activated putting everything back the way that it was before you came in."

"Oh that's good to hear then," giving one last look around the destroyed shop. "Uhm, thanks again sir" pocketing his new wand into a hidden pocket within his rob.

Giving a cheerful laugh, "Oh, it's been a pleasure to serve you Tom. I'm looking forward to the amazing things you will do in the future."

Kneeling down to be at eye level with the boy, "Earlier when you first came in you seemed excited about wands and the craftsmen ship to make them, if you ever want to learn more about them, don't be a stranger I'll be more the delighted to pass on my knowledge to someone as excited about wands as you are-" Standing back up and giving one last look towards the boy, "Well I need to get back to it, I look forward to seeing again someday kid."

Waving towards the man as he turned around for the door, wishing the man a great rest of the day and thanking him for the offer to teach him more about wands. Leaving the shop with a bright genuine smile plastered on his face.

Turning around as the door behind looking in through the window, he watched with excitement as everything within the shop started to fly up into the air. Looking like a chaotic mess inside as everything gets thrown around, broken pieces of glass being put back together.

After a few mere seconds of what looked like chaos within the shop, everything was once again back into its original spot as the last few remaining scrolls gently landed back on the front desk.

Garrick inside gave one last bright smile towards the boy waving him off, Tom with red coloring his cheeks as embarrassment took over for being caught watching the shop quickly put itself back together, quickly took off back down the street that he came from.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

After walking for about an hour or so, Tom came up to a long street littered with rubbish down the brick street. A foul odor rifts through the air, something that Tom has long since gone blind to. Grey smoke bellowed over the sky, leaving no space for the blue sky to shine down towards the earth.

Walking down the street passing several small brick houses that were combined together, with a small walking path leading to the street connor.

As he got closer to his destination he started to slow down moving barely at a snail's pace. Looking down towards the ground, he continued down the street.

Once he reached his destination, a small brick house with a red door that had its paint tearing off of it, the window that would look into the main part of the house was broken into pieces covered by some wood. At the edge of the house was a small rock.

Looking around making sure no one was out watching him, he quickly made his way up the path to the rock, bending down picking it up, and quickly dropping the trunk that he had shrunken down into a small hole that he made earlier in the day.

Quickly covering it back up with the rock, and looking around to make sure once again that no had seen what he was doing. After making sure no one had seen him he walked quickly to the door taking a deep breath, opening the front door to the house and walking in.

Before he could shut the door, a voice yelled out from the kitchen, "Boy, is that you! Where the hell do you think you've been!" Tom, cooling his expression, closed the door behind him.

Later on that night, under the dim light from the waning crescent of the small sliver of the moon that shone in the sky. One blond haired boy sat solemnly on the roof of his house looking out towards the star, while the other black haired boy sat in his dark room, with one eye swollen shut.

As they both sat there looking out towards the night sky, They only had one thought in their minds. One longing to go home, and another longing to escape home by going to Hogwarts. Both breathing a sigh, as they thought about how fast approaching September first was coming. How they have a little over a month before it starts.
