"Ugh. I'm going to chew through my own leg if this doesn't come off soon." Jewel says as the truck stops in a market area.
"Relax. If l know Luiz we're right where we want to be." Rafael says.
"Yeah. Luiz loves food." Alexis says.
"Hey! Rafi! If it isn't the king of Carnival!" A voice shouts happily as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"Uh-oh." Alexis says as she backs up to beside Blu and Jewel as Nico and Pedro come flying over to Rafael.
"Nico! Pedro! What up family?" Rafael asks happily.
"Where you been hiding yourself bird?" Pedro asks.
"Man I thought you were dead." Nico says.
"Hold up! Rewind. Ain't that the bird from the cage?" Pedro asks as he and Nico go over to Blu as Alexis goes over to Rafael.
"I think our love lessons went down smooth." Nico says before he notices Alexis and smiles at her causing her to blush and look away.
"You work fast." Pedro says.
"Baby got beak." Nico says as Alexis rolls her eyes.
"You was locked up and now you're rolling with a hot-wing. I want to be like you." Pedro says as he looks at Jewel.
"No it's not what you think. We're just chained together." Blu says.

"Oh brother." Alexis says as Nico flies over to her.

"Can't blame a bird for trying." Nico says as Alexis shakes her head at him.
"Hey guys we're looking for Luiz. Have you seen him?" Rafael asks.
"Yeah I seen him but you didn't because you just missed him. He took the trolley back to the garage." Pedro says.
"Great." Jewel says annoyedly.
"Relax baby bird. You could catch the next one." Nico says as he smiles.
"Yeah it's time to take it to the next level." Pedro says.
"What's wrong with this level?" Blu asks nervously.
"Come on! This ain't the level. The next level's the level. You got to shake your tail feathers." Pedro says as he dances slightly.
"We got to get this chain off first." Blu says as Rafael and Nico begin pushing him and Jewel forward.
"Come on lovebirds! You're in Rio! You should enjoy it!" Rafael says.
"This ought to end well." Alexis says as she follows the group.

"Welcome to paradise!" Nico says happily as he and Pedro bring the group to a crowded area with birds dancing.
"Some party huh?" Rafael asks.
"This is the coolest place I've ever seen. Despite all the obvious health code violations." Blu says as Alexis looks around nervously.
"I like you! Nothing you say makes any sense." Rafael says as he chuckles before noticing Alexis looking around nervously.
"Dad do I really have to be here? You know how I feel about crowds." Alexis says.
"It's alright sweetie. There's a spot with nobody around. You can hang out there if you want." Rafael says as Alexis nods.
"Thanks dad." Alexis says as she flies over the spot in the room with no one in it.
"All right everyone! Listen up! Rafi has some special guests from out of town. So let's show them some love because I don't think they get out much." Nico says.
"Everybody put their wings together and clap them as loud as you can. Flap them. Clap them. I don't care slap them." Pedro says as he flies around as music starts up.
"Party in the Ipanema baby." Nico says as he smiles earning a slight smile from Alexis as she watches him and Pedro begin flying around and dancing.

"I thought I told you to leave me alone when we first met?" Alexis asks as she looks at Nico.
"Oh come on baby bird. Besides I just figured you were playing hard to get or something." Nico says.
"Really?" Alexis asks in disbelief.
"Really." Nico says as Alexis rolls her eyes.
"What are you doing?" Alexis as she sees Nico hold out his wing.

"Oh no. I... I don't like crowds that well." Alexis says as she backs away nervously.
"Come on. Please? You'll enjoy it I promise." Nico says as he smiles.
"I'm not much of a dancer." Alexis says shyly.
"Well Rafi told me you love to sing. Why not have a bit of fun." Nico says as he smiles kindly.
"My father talked to you about me?" Alexis asks as she looks at Nico curiously.
"Well I have asked about you a lot. Please?" Nico asks.
"Why? Aren't there other prettier birds you'd wanna dance with?" Alexis asks.
"I wanna dance with you and you look like you could use some fun. Come on. I don't bite." Nico says as Alexis nervously takes his wing in hers.
"I do though." Alexis says as she glares slightly at Nico.
"I know. I like that about a girl. Come on." Nico says as he begins to pull Alexis toward the stage.
"Alright." Alexis says as she follows Nico to the stage.
"You got the moves baby bird. And looks like you aren't the only one who's found her rhythm." Nico says as he and Alexis see Blu dancing.
"Uh..." Alexis says nervously as she is dancing with Nico seeing many birds staring at them.
"Hey don't worry about everyone else. Just focus on me and have fun. Just sing and dance." Nico says as Alexis looks at him and nods nervously.

"No. But I like what I've heard about you. And I want to get to know you personally now. If you'll allow it." Nico says kindly.
"You're a smooth one. I'll give you that." Alexis says as she smiles.
"See? I knew you'd come around." Nico says happily
"Let's just say I haven't been given a reason to leave yet." Alexis says.

Everyone soon stops dancing as the blankets giving shade to the party are pulled off by monkeys as everyone gets surrounded by monkeys.
"You two are coming with me." Monkey King says as he steps forward.
"In your little monkey dreams." Jewel says.
"Yeah. That was meant for you." Blu says as he tries to spit at Monkey King only for it to not work out well for him.
"Come on. Can we all just get along?" Rafael says as he goes over to Blu and Jewel.
"This isn't your fight big-nose." Monkey King says.
"Hey! Don't talk to my dad like that." Alexis says as she goes over to Rafael.
"You mess with my friends you mess with me!" A crane says as he grabs Monkey King with his foot.
"And us!" The other birds shout.
"Yeah little King Kong. Birds versus monkeys!" Pedro shouts as he and Nico land beside Alexis as the birds begin fighting with the monkeys.
"Got ya now!" A monkey shouts as he and another monkey corner Nico.
"Oh you don't!" Alexis shouts as she knocks a box off filled with fruit onto the two monkeys.
"Nice shot baby bird!" Nico says as he flies up to beside Alexis.
"Thanks." Alexis says as she smiles.
"No problem baby." Nico says as he smiles.
"Nico!" Alexis says as she and Nico see the crane trying to help Blu and Jewel to the trolly but are being held back as monkeys hang onto the chain weighing them down before Nico throws his hat at the monkeys knocking them off as he catches his hat.
"Take that you funky monkey!" Nico says proudly.
"Talk about my shots." Alexis says happily as she and Nico fly off to follow after Jewel and Blu as they are placed on the top of the trolly before the group is joined by Rafael and Pedro.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Pedro shouts proudly
"Man we threw down!" Blu shouts happily.
"Yeah we threw down." Jewel says happily.
"You guys were like fire and ice." Rafael says.
"Thunder and lightning!" Pedro shouts.
"Hip and hop!" Nico shouts.
"Day and night!" Alexis says.
"Cheese and sprinkles!" Blu says happily.
"Uh what?" Alexis asks.
"It's a Minnesota thing." Blu says.
"You see? Nothing you say makes any sense." Rafael says.
