Alright here is chapter two. Thanks to everyone who has read the first chapter and favorited and followed the story.

It was early in the morning, the sun barely began to show itself above the horizon on a chilly fifty-seven degree morning on September first. A small blond-headed kid was walking slowly through the halls of his residence, looking down towards the ground.

Walking down the stairs and to the empty dining room. As the boy was taking his seat at the empty table the house elves started bringing out the morning breakfast to the boy. Some ham, scrambled eggs, with toast.

After he was finished with his breakfast two house elves popped up next to the boy, one taking the plate while the other continued to stand there quietly waiting for permission to speak from the boy, who was just staring blankly out of one of the windows in the dining room.

After a short while of staring out the window, he took a deep sigh turning his head over to the house elf that had been standing there patiently for him, "Yes Gob, was there something that you needed?"

Taking a slight bow at the boy as he spoke to him, before replying back calming "Yes young master, you father had asked me to make sure that you received this-" Pulling out a small scroll and handing it towards the boy, "This here is a scroll of Namakaze family created spells. He wanted you to have them and practice with them while you are at school."

Taking the scroll from the elf and looking over it for a brief second, in a quiet voice, "Thank you Gob, for the scroll. Now it should be about time for me to leave. I'll need you and Darren to fetch my belongings and bring them out to the carriage for me.

Taking one last bow towards the boy, "Alright away young master. We'll gladly get that done for you." With that he had disappeared in a puff of smoke to complete the given task to him.

Walking into the living room, looking over towards the opposite end of the room where an old oak grandfather clock stood. Seeing that he still had about an hour and a half before he had to leave. As he took a seat at one of the sofas in front of a grand coffee table, he called for a house elf to fetch him some materials to write a letter.

As he was putting the feather down, and was looking over the letter that he had just completed writing, the grandfather clock in the room began ringing out indicating that the time is now eight in the morning, and that he must be getting on his way.

Quickly folding up the letter and putting it into an envelope, and stamping it with his familys' crest. Walking out the door that had been opened up by a house elf for him, he called out for his owl.

A smile upon his face as he watched as a big brown owl about 36 inches tall. "Hello Kur-" Reaching out to pet the creature as it landed on a post just in front of him, "How is my beautiful girl doing?"

The owl hooting out in excitement at her owner as he started to pet her, Shaking her wings in excitement as she watched him pull out a mouse from one of his pockets, and throw it onto the ground. With the owl quickly following it down and capturing it within her claws and making quick work of her snack.

Chuckling to himself as he watched her devour the little creature, "Now Kur, I have a letter for you to deliver. You think you can do that for me? I know it's a long flight to Japan, but I know you can do it again can't ya?"

As the Owl hooted out as if it were reassuring him. Flying up to the post once more and looked expectantly at the letter in the boy's hand. "Ah, of course I knew you could deliver it for me, little one."

Shrinking the letter down to a more manageable size for the owl to carry, and making sure to tie it around her legs tightly to make sure it won't fall off on her long journey. With one last hoot the owl started flapping its wings with such grace and gallower as it took off into the air as the boy waved her off.

As the owl flew off into the distance a man wearing formal clothing yelled out to the young boy gaining his attention. "It's about time that we head out sir, Namikaze." The young boy nodded towards the man, as he walked down the steps of the porch through the garden to the carriage that was waiting for him, with a tall slender man holding the carriage's door open.

As he climbed into the carriage and the door shut behind him, it started to take off through the city street to its destination.

Meanwhile across the city, inside a small home that was badly destroyed, with windows shattered, the bricks making up the house shattered and looking as if they could crumble at any time, was a small thin boy.

Walking quietly through his house, trying his best not to wake up his father who was passed out cold on the couch, with an empty cup barely clung in his hands, the contents of what was once inside it poured out onto the floor.

Walking quietly into the kitchen opening up the cabinet doors, sighing in disappointment as he sees that it was left empty yet again. His stomach growling out in hunger.

Leaving the kitchen and walking towards the door, looking up towards an old grandfather clock, that is showing its old age. Seeing that it is only six-twelve in the morning. The sun is only just starting to peak up above the horizon.

Whispering to himself annoyed at the time, "Great, it takes about an hour and a half to walk to the train station. So, I should arrive there at about seven-thirty-" Turning around silently, walking out the door, and closing it behind him. "Meaning I'll have about a three and a half hour wait at the damn station before the train arrives to pick us all up,"

Walking up to a small rock at the edge of his house, picking it up and setting it off to the side. Under the rock was the chest that he had hiding away. Picking it up and putting it into one of his pockets hidden within his robes he started off down the street to the train station.

Tom had arrived at the station, as he expected, within about an hour and half of his departure from his house. He had just been sitting in the corner of the station nine and three quarters. A simple brick platform with one track going through it. A sign hung up reading Kings cross letting everyone know what platform they were at and a clock hung up to keep track of the time that it was.

The time had seemed to pass on by slowly for Tom as he continued to sit there in the sparsely populated train station. Watching as it slowly began to feel up with other students and their families that were getting ready for their first day at Hogwarts.

At about ten o'clock an hour before the train was supposed to arrive and pick up all the students.

As he continued to sit in a corner, watching as everyone within the station talked amongst themselves, his eye caught a blond-haired boy, with tanned skin, walking within the station with a clearly false smile that did not show in his eyes.

As Tom looked away from the boy, he started to notice that several of the other people in the station were giving the kid a nasty stare. Rolling his eyes at the nearby adults that were talking awfully about the kid. Telling them to stay away from him, and telling them not to trust the Japanese brat.

Turning his attention back to the blond kid, he watched as he walked gracefully towards a corner of the station that wasn't too heavily populated. As the blond reached the corner two bigger kids who had to be in their fifth year had snuck up on him cornering him.

Watching on as the blond stood there stoically, Tom looked around at the others in the station hoping that someone would step in and help him out, but all he saw was the adults turning around to face away from the corner while several other students began to cheer for the attackers.

Jumping up from where he was sitting, scowling out annoyed at the bullying happening in front of him. Before he could take a step to help out, the train had begun to pull up to the station. He watched as the kids backed off from the blond boy and walked away.

Seeing this Tom changed his course and walked up to the back of the platform away from where the majority of the people were standing. Taking one last look back at the blond boy who was still just standing in the corner showing no emotion. With a soft sigh he walked into the cabin at the very back of the line taking the last seat in the compartment.

As the carriage pulled up to the station, the attendant opened up the door for Naruto to step out. Taking his belongings, and having one of his servants shrink them down so he could more easily carry them, he placed them in a hidden pocket inside of his robe.

Waving off his attendants who took off in the carriage down the road, Naruto turned around towards the station. Making sure to follow his father's and mother's instructions he took several deep breaths, putting on a fake smile. Starting to walk with the elegance and purpose that his mother and father had taught him, he proceeded to walk into the station.

Once he entered the station the first thing he noticed was that all eyes were currently on him. Using all his effort to try and keep his false smile on. All around him he could hear the adults whispering to their kids to not trust him and to avoid him at all cost. While the other kids were making fun of him with each other.

Looking around the station and finding an empty corner he quickly made his way over to it. As he got there two older boys. One of them with blond hair, scolding blue eyes. His uniform was colored blue and bronze. Standing tall over the ten and a half year old boy.

The other boy, with black hair, a scare running down the right side of his face, his green eyes burning in annoyance. His uniform is also colored in blue and bronze, with his wand out in his hand.

The two boys having Naruto cornered, the blond hair boy had his hand out above Naruto's head held against the wall with both boys bodies making sure to be blocking any possible escape.

Naruto cooling his expression taking a quick look around seeing that everyone is actively ignoring his situation or cheering it on. Looking straight forward at the blond boy giving him the nasty scowl who looked like to be the leader waiting for them to do something first.

The leader of the duo spat out towards the blond kid in front of him, "Well, if it isn't the warmonger's filthy son!" The other kid spitting out in disgust, "Yeah, I heard your parents think you're worthless, abandoning you here, so they don't have to deal with you!"

"Now, can't we just be civil about this right? There is no reason to fight, is there?" Looking up towards the two boys, giving them both a small smile just to be laughed off by the two "Yeah, right as if we'd let you go, we got a whole year to make your life as fun as possible."

As the two boys continued to throw insults out towards Naruto he stood there quietly with a small smile that he never let slip as to not let his true feelings show. Looking over towards the tracks as he started to hear the rumbling of the train coming in to the station the two boys gave one last glare at Naruto, ""We will see you at Hogwarts!"" taking off to the platform to catch the train leaving Naruto standing by himself looking on towards the kids and parents embracing each other farewell.

As the last few remaining kids got onto the train, Naruto quickly walked towards the back of the train getting into the last cabin where as few people got into. Taking a quick look around the cabin, finding an empty space he walks over to it, taking his seat as the train begins to move.

Staring out of the window of the train looking out over the fields, watching the scenery pass him by as he ignored the few other kids that were in the same cabin as him whispering insults towards him.

After the train ride and a boat ride across a large lake that separated the first years from the rest of the years; they had finally arrived at their destination. A large castle that was overlooking the lake up on a cliff. The castle had looked like it rose up into the heavens itself down from the boats below. Leaving the first years in awe struck over the castle.

Once they reached the shore at the bottom of the cliff the Hogwarts teacher that had guided them through the lake was a tall man with graying hair. His beard reached down to his stomach. His voice was loud and gruff as it rang out to the students still that were just getting out of their boats.

"Welcome to Hogwarts everyone!" Giving a passing glance at the students that were still looking up towards the castle in amazement by the sight. Until his eyes gazed across a certain blond headed kid that was standing at the back of the crowd trying to hide away. Gruffing silently at seeing the boy, before continuing his look over at the rest of the students.

Speaking up once more to get everyone's attention. "While I understand the shock expressions on all of you as you get to see our wonderful school for the first time, we must be on our way or else we will be late for the ceremony," Turning around for the kids he started to lead them up the trail to the school.

After the short hike up the castle above they came up to a pair of big wooden doors. Just outside of the doors stood a single woman wearing a school robe. She was tapping her feet on the ground as they were coming up the trail. "About time you showed up, Professor. Matthew. You were thirty seconds from being late. I'll have you know." her voice agitated and soft as she was speaking.

The now named Professor Matthew looked up towards her his voice sounding happy, but to the one's listening close enough they could hear the disdain coming off his voice as he responded back to the women, "Well Ms. Margot I am on time aren't I so there is no need for your attitude now is there."

Turning her eyes away from the man and towards the new first years of Hogwarts. With a large smile she welcomed them all to their first year of Hogwarts. Turning around towards the door, as they slowly begin to open by themselves. She waved over her shoulder to signal the kids to follow her into the building without looking back for any stragglers.

Following the woman into a large backstage room. Coming to a stop the woman turned around towards the kids. "Alright everyone, welcome, in just a few minutes we are going to be organizing you all into your houses for the next seven years of your life-" looking around at the kids in front of her taking in the sight of some looking nervous, while others looking full of confidence.

The two who stood out from the crowd though a pale kid giving everyone an annoyed scowl while the other kid who she recognised as Naruto the foreign kid who was going to be attending Hogwarts standing in the corner by himself slightly looking up with a small hollow smile towards her.

Once she was done taking in the sight of all of the students she huffed out, "Alright, everyone for the next few minutes you all may talk amongst each other, but no causing any trouble am I understood!" Hearing a few quiet yeses from the students before her she smiled and nodded her head "good, then I'll be back here when it is time to begin." taking off through the gap in the curtains leading on stage

Once she left everyone began to chat amongst themselves. Talking about how excited they are to be starting the school year. What houses they were hoping to be placed in. Everything was going well until someone screamed out terrified.

As the children were talking amongst themselves a ghost wearing a worn red vest with patches where pockets would have once been, and blue slacks with small orange stripes. His shoes were pointy at the end, and he wore a hat with three tips coming out of it with bells tied to each end. Was peeking down through the ceiling.

He looked down laughing silently to himself as he noticed the new fresh batch of kids that the school is offering to him this year. Thoughts of all the ways he is going to be able to have fun with them all were quickly flashing through his mind. As he was getting ready to set up his first prank of the year, that's when he noticed in the corner of the room stood an alone boy.

As he looked at the boy he was easily able to look through his fake confidence and smile. He couldn't quite place why but he had decided to go and investigate this kid who looked so down to him. With that he went back up with a wide gwin on his face.

Naruto was just standing in one of the corners away from everyone else. Looking amongst his group of new class mates for the next seven years to make a mental note to himself on which first year students would be best to ignore, or what ones would be the ones to most likely cause him some problems.

As he was scanning through the room there was this one boy in particular that he kept looking back to. A smaller boy who appeared to be underweight. He couldn't help but question why this boy was standing off towards the other end of the room scowling at anyone who tried to approach him.

As he kept glancing around he heard a voice that came off as a way to peppy come from behind him. Turning around with his false confidence he looked up towards the man that was standing before him, "I'm sorry what was that?"

The man looked at the blond boy puzzled by the reaction clearly expecting the boy to be spooked. Both of them stood there silently for a minute before Naruto finally realized who he was talking to.

His eyes went big with fright, as he took a few steps back from the specter. Trying to keep his voice from sounding shaky but failing at it as he quietly whispered out, "What the hell are you."

"Ah, I see that you have finally noticed it took ya long enough-" the excitement in his voice filled with quiet laughter. "I'm just your friendly everyday Jester of Hogwarts. It's my passion to make people laugh by any means."

Taking the hat from the boy laughing as he tried to quickly take back and fail to do so. "Now, you don't have to be so antsy, we are just having some fun no?-" The specter's smile only grew as he watched the boy struggle to get the hat back from him.

"Now what is your name blondie?" Looking up at the ghost, giving up on getting his hat back from him for the time being just stood there glaring at him. His voice finally broke as he asked annoyedly, "Why should I tell you my name? Shouldn't you be telling me your name first?!"

"My name is Peeves Blondy, and unless you want your hat back your going have to tell me your name." Grumbling to himself, "Fine-" And with a ruff grunt "My name is Naruto Namikaze it's a pleasure to meet you Peeves."
"Now you don't sound pleased to be meeting me." Only raising the hat higher from the boy who tried to sneak one more jump to grab it. "I told you my name like you requested, now can you give me my hat back please."

"Oh, you want this little thing back? How about you help me and I'll help you? Then I'll give you your hat back." Scoffing at this? "And why should I do anything for you? You just stole my own hat away from me."

Snickering at the blond boy in front of him, "Now is that any way to treat a friend. After all, I can see the mischievous side of you wanting to come out."

"I haven't a clue what you are talking about Peeves, I have no intentions once so ever to cause any havoc around the school or to anyone that could leave a bad name to my family."
"Ah, so it's family that is holding you back then–" turning his head to the boy in a look of confusion, "Now why is that? Is your family here by any chance?"

"Well no of course not they are across the globe at the moment, Bu…." before he could finish what he was saying Peeves cut him off. "So all I'm hearing is excuses. Who's going to stop you if you decided to have some fun right? After all, I heard some of the others saying some nasty stuff to you. Now do you really want them to get away with that?

Tilting his head down towards the floor, contemplating on what the ghost before him had to say. Looking back up with a real smile for the first time in a long time "Alright, let's say that I am in with what you are saying. What are we going to be doing?"
Giving a bright smile at the boy slowly putting the hat back on the boy, "Glad to see you that you can see things my way, I know we will have tons of fun."

After some time has passed Professor Margot the woman who greeted them at the castle doors yelled out getting everyone's attention brought to her, "Alright everyone it is about time for the ceremony to start, Line up in alphabetical order by last name!" Quickly everyone started getting into a line behind the women who were now looking out towards the big dining area of the castle.

Naruto looked up at Peeves about to ask a question, but was interrupted by him "Now you've got nothing to worry about, by the time they call you I'll have everything set up." With a quick nod he walked off quickly to his place in the line.

Once everyone was in their proper place Professor . Margot spoke up, giving out the final orders to everyone before the start of the ceremony. "Alright everyone when we call out your name you will come out on stage and sit down on the chair. From there we will be sorting all of you into your future house here at Hogwarts."

Giving one last nod to the first years in front of her she turned around and walked out back on stage taking her position behind and to the left of the chair. On the right side of the chair stood a short man with a long black beard and his hair looking unkempt as it strayed in every direction.

Next to him a small, wooden table sat next to him with a lone brown hat that appeared to be worn with age sitting on top of the table. In a deep and booming voice the hat was singing out to the audience that was feeling up the large banquet room and leaving the first years that were in front of the line in awe at the hat.

As the man standing next to the hat took a few steps forward taking in the sight of all of the students in the room, with a big grin on his face. "Welcome everyone back to Hogwarts-" Turning towards the first year students that were lined up just off stage. "And a warm welcome to this year's first year students! When I call your name please come on out and take your seat so we may get you all sorted!"

"Alright let's get this started Kate Aberman!" As he yelled out the name, the first student of the year walked out on stage, an average sized eleven year old. Taking her seat on the chair, the middle aged man that had called out her name picked up the hat off of the table and placed it on to her head.

Everyone in the hall was sitting in silent anticipation of the house she would get placed in. After only a mere five seconds or so, the hat shouted out for everyone to hear out, "Ravenclaw!" With that announcement applause could be heard coming from one of the four tables filled with students.

Once the hat was removed from her head the plain black school robes that she was wearing changed its colors to blue and bronze. She got up and quickly moved to the table coloured in blue and bronze.

"Alright up next is Albert Abine!" And as the boy was called out he walked onto the stage going through the same process as the girl before him. Taking his seat on the chair and having it placed onto his head.

After a few seconds the hat yelled out just the same loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, "Gryffindor!" With that the Gryffindor table started applauding as loud as possible and the boy's school outfit changed to red and gold as the boy quickly took off running towards his table..

"Next Christopher Albin!" A smaller boy came out shyly onto the stage. Nervously looking around at the four tables sitting below the stage. Professor. Margot reached out, leading the boy to the seat. The man calling out the names smiling softly towards the boy whispering, "Everything is okay no need to be nervous."

The boy gave a slight smile as the man placed the hat onto his head. After a brief second the hat once again yelled out for everyone to hear, "Hufflepuff!" his uniform turning yellow and black, the students at the hufflepuff table coloured in the Hufflepuff color.

This pattern went on for the next hour with the man calling out the name of the next first year in line. Finally calling out for Tom Riddle on to the stage.

The small boy walked out on stage, glaring out towards everyone in a message that he doesn't wish to be bothered as he walked quickly to the chair.

Turning around and taking his seat. He glared out towards the back of the room behind the Gryffindor table where he had noticed that specter from earlier doing something with a rope, but couldn't tell what it was.

As he was glaring towards the spector he could feel something light get placed on his head, then he heard a voice coming from inside of his head. It sounded gruff and loud as it spoke out to him, "You are a smart kid aren't you? I see everything that you have been through and what you have done to get through it all and still have your head high."

Just as quickly as the hat was placed onto the boy and reading through his thoughts it had yelled out loud for everyone to hear, "Slytherin!"

The hat was taken off of Tom as he jumped off of the chair and walked down towards the table that was obnoxiously applauding for him. Getting to an empty seat he took his place at the table. Glaring down at the table only thinking to himself whatever that blond idiot and that dumb ghost are planning they better leave him out of it.

With that the ceremony continued on with Tom actively ignoring everything that was going on as he glared silently at the table. That is until the man onstage called out a name that sounded foreign to him. Finally looking up as he watched the blond boy walk out on stage and continued to watch him until he sat down at the table.

Back on stage when Naruto heard his name called he walked out on stage with as much grace and dignity that his parents had drilled into him since he was young. He never let his smile falter under the scrutiny of his peers and teachers who weren't hiding their distaste for the boy.

Sitting down on the chair feeling as the hat was placed onto his head he could hear the gruff voice ring out inside of his head.

"Oh, now I see you are a brave one, back at home you were always willing to sacrifice your own needs to help others out. You are a smart and wise young man as well. I can see either house being fit for you. Hmmmm, I do believe that there is one house that will suit you the best."

After two minutes of deliberating what house the blond boy would be best suited for the hat yelled out loud "Slytherin!"

The hat being taken off of the boy's head he stood up. Looking out behind the audience he gave a slight nod to the specter in the back of the room that only one person caught.

With Naruto nodding his head giving the sign the ghost pulled onto a rope the let loose several buckets of garbage that was dumped on the ones who were picking on the blond boy early. Peeves flying above the room quickly circling the room laughing hard at the shouts and screams of the students that just had garbage dumped on them.

Everyone in the room was so distracted by Peeves that they didn't notice the small laughter coming out of the blond boy who just quickly walked down and took his place right next to Tom at the Slytherin table.

The Man standing up on stage yelled out annoyed at Peeve telling him to leave immediately, which the ghost quickly did so still laughing as hard as can be without a care in the world. With a gruff sigh and nodding his head from the teachers table to the students down below, four teachers seeing this got up from their seats and walked quickly over to one of the four tables. Each pulling out their wands and casting a spell cleaning up all of the mess.

With everything cleaned up the four teachers wordlessly walked back to their spot at the teachers table taking their seats once again.

Naruto came to the Slytherin table ignoring the few at the table that was once covered in garbage and taking his place in an empty seat next to the small pale boy that he saw backstage glaring out towards everyone.

The man back on stage cleared his throat getting everyone's attention back on to him. "Alright everyone now that the incident with Peeves has been taken care of let's finish up the ceremony!" With that announcement made the man went back to calling out the names of the new first years.

As the last first year was called on stage and given his house assignment for the next seven years. "Alright everyone, welcome to Hogwarts! I'm glad to see so many of our returning classes. And for the new first years that have just arrived today, I am the headmaster of the school-" His voice rang out loud making sure everyone was indeed paying attention to him!

"My name is Grandle Bratter! All of you will refer to me as Headmaster Bratter! Now before Dinner is brought out for all of you to enjoy I have just a few announcements to make"

After Bratter was done giving his spill on the basic rules for Hogwarts like not going into the forbidden forest, the food started to appear onto the tables with no sign of who was bringing it out. With that everyone at the table started digging into the food that had arrived and new dishes coming out to replace anything that ran out.

For Tom and Naruto eating their meals slowly, both paying no mind to the chatter that was going on around them. By the time the meal period came to an end all of the food started to vanish back to wherever it had originally come from.

Headmaster Bratter walked back up onto stage getting everyone's attention, "Alright everyone I hope you all had a pleasant meal today, Now it is time for us all to retire back to our chambers. Will the perfects for each house please stand up."

With that, two students from each table stood up. "For the first years these perfects are here to make sure that all of the rules are being followed. They have absolute authority to give and take away points and hand out detention at their discretion. Now Please follow them back to your house's dormitories and have a great night!"

At the end of the speech the two perfects at the Slytherin table a male and female sixth year students spook up both saying their hello's to the first years and welcoming them to Hogwarts. After the short speech from the both of them they turned around to the exit of the banquet hall and waved for the first years to follow them.

Walking through the long halls of the castle pictures up on the walls all moving going about their business. Some chatting amongst themselves others greeting the children as they walked on by them.

Coming to a grand staircase the Slytherins started walking down the circular stairs all the way to the bottom into the dungeon of the castle. Reaching the bottom of the stares the two perfects stopped in their tracks at a wall with seven metallic snakes biting onto each other's tails.

"Alright everyone listen up! We will only be saying this once so you better remember this-" The voice of the girl perfectly spoke up loudly making sure that everyone was paying attention to her. "Now this is the door to our common room. In order to enter it you all must remember the secret code that is needed to enter! It changes every quarter and will be given out when it changes!"

Looking out through the crowd making sure they are understanding everything that they have said. Seeing no complaints she continued on her explanation. "Now for these first four months the secret code to enter is 'Grata domum serpentes!,' does everyone understand!"

With a quick look at everybody confirming that there were no questions the male Perfect went over to one of the snakes and whispered the phrase to it. When the phrase was said aloud to the snake they all began moving in perfect sync in a circle, slowly opening up the walls to reveal the room that was hiding behind it.

As everyone walked into the big living area of the common room, there was a couch and chairs with a table in the middle of it facing towards a grand fireplace. On the table was a small ball of fruit sitting out. Up against the wall next to the couch was a bookshelf with several books on it. There was a small assortment of board games on the bottom of the shelf.

Several desks were scattered across the room as well as a dining table on the other side of the room. Two big oval windows overlooked the outside of the castle to the lake below.

"Alright the boys dorm is to the left and the girls dorm is to the right-" the male perfect said as they all came to a stop in the room. "You may stay up a little while if you like and get to know each other. Breakfast begins at 6 in the morning and ends at 8 in the morning where classes will begin at 8:30 in the morning. Everyone at breakfast will be given out their schedule for the semester." With that the two perfects took off into their respective dorms leaving the first years alone as some of the older students started to fill into the common room.

Tom made his way down the boys dormitory to a small room with four other beds in the room with curtains being used as a divider between each other's personal space. He quickly put his stuff away and retired for the night.

While Naruto went off to the far end of the living room sitting at one of the desks reading one of his favorite books from back home, The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi. While he was reading his book, a few students who were walking behind took a peek at the pages scuffling at the page of Japanese writing as they walked away from the boy.

It was an hour into reading his book most of the occupants that were inside of the room had retired to their chambers. Leaving Naruto alone with only a few others that were left sitting on the couch talking to each other, when Peeves came floating down from the ceiling looking over the blond boy's shoulder at the scribbles on the page.

"What kind of book is that?" Causing Naruto to jump a little at the sudden voice behind him. "Thanks, a little warning next time would be nice."

This just caused the specter to laugh at him. "Oh come now what fun would that be." His smile only grew more at the boy's face of annoyance.

Sighing to himself looking down and shaking his head before looking back up at Peeves with a small genuine smile. "This is my favorite book from my home country of Japan. It was written by my godfather Jiraiya."

"Now isn't that just nice to hear. Anyways, it's been quite some time since I had that much fun with a student here-" his laughter causing the few remaining slytherin to wincing at noticing his presence in their common room taking off to their chambers.

"I was thinking that a natural prankster such as yourself and I should team up and teach all of these stick in the mud students what true fun is," his grin reaching to the tip of his ears as he offers his proposal to Naruto.

The blond boy now left alone in the room with no one except for Peeves slouched down into his chair; his voice was quiet. The sorrow that he has been hiding away for the day finally comes through. "As much fun as I had today getting back towards them, I can't risk getting in trouble. If I get carried away and my parents find out they would kill me-"

Looking up to Peeves smiling small towards him, putting back up his facade that has been thoroughly beaten into him. "I am sorry Peeves but I must decline your offer. Thanks for your offer."

Getting up from the desk and walking towards the boy's dormitory Peeves normal cheerful carefree demeanor dropped for a brief second before collecting himself "Well I am quite sorry to hear that, but if you end up changing your mind about my proposal just call for me, I'll be over quicker than a slytherin when they see an opportunity." Flying back up through the ceiling above.

Stopping just outside of the doorway leading to his room and looking back at where the poltergeist once was before continuing on his course to retire for the night.
